Haru smiled and held her hand. "You don't need to be jealous. Our relationship is close but not as close as the two of us." He moved his head closer and kissed her forehead.

Maybe I'll full of energy to write your favorite fanfic.

I have completed editing of chapters 7-25, I have completed formatt editing there just some stuff I just realized I need to check on with the format for good measure, I have also added the disclaimers and reposted chapters 7-25. Keep in mind that all authors notes are unaltered.

In the edited chapters some plot holes but not all plot-holes have been fixed and removed, the plot remains the same its just their was some conflicting information in the now edited chapters.

The illustration I made of Rocyl's symbol has been removed and is neither on any platforms or in the manuscript.

I did this when I was reposting because I was tired and hungry and I am still hungry as I write this... Hopefully after I check my notifications I can go down stairs and eat food.

Chapters 1-6 were edited far before book one was complete late at night a few months ago last year I think it was last year, so if there are still errors in there it cuz I was tired when I was editing them.

I'm sure you've read this a few times in the previous chapters, but I had been reading MTL chapters for the past few years. I usually read "Completed" stories, and most of them are around 2-4k chapters each. Of course, I read the translated chapters first. After I reach the latest translated chapter, I will immediately jump to *cough* Google Translate.

Yeah~ I know. Reading chapters through Google Translate was the most…epic mistake I did in the past. I've finished World Defying Dan God, Battle Through the Heavens uhh…and a few more novels using Google Translate.

As long as they will be able to read the NEXT chapter, then it's all good.

There had always been talk about whether the Manuscript of Tendon and Marrow Transformation was a Buddhist martial art or a Taoist one.

Anyhow, Fang Zheng was just a commoner. The thing he was most concerned about was whether the Manuscript of Tendon and Marrow Transformation could be evolved into a true, rare manuscript. 
Fang Zheng held the Human Skin Scripture in one hand, and Manuscript of Tendon and Marrow Transformation in the other. 
He focused his attention. 'Evolve!' 
Everything was shiny in the blink of an eye. The Manuscript of Tendon and Marrow Transformation was coated in golden rays of light. Its pages began flipping quickly; it was that familiar sight again. Each page seemed to be coated with a golden stream. The words, paragraphs, and illustrations on them began transforming rapidly. It seemed to be evolving into a scripture of the heavens; it was impossible for the human eye to keep up with the speed of the transformation. 
At the same time, one part of the runes on the Human Skin Scripture faded away. 
When there were only two lit parts of the runes left on the Scripture, the transformation of the Manuscript of Tendon and Marrow Transformation was completed.

Fang Zheng stared at the cover of the book. The words, ancient and as large as a dragon, left him a little dumbfounded. 
It was his first time encountering something like this after three evolutions. 'The first level?
'Does this mean that there is a second and a third?'
Fang Zheng wasn't excited about the face that the number of possible layers meant more powers. His first reaction was, "F*ck!". 
'What a waste!'
His heart was aching. 'A precious part of the runes was spent on evolving an incomplete rare manuscript?'
With a broken heart, Fang Zheng opened the book with his shaking hands. 
According to the introduction, there were nine layers to the rare manuscript. 
The first layer was for Qi-changing, the second for blood-changing, the third for spirit-changing, the fourth for pulse-changing, the fifth for marrow-changing, the sixth for bone-changing, the seventh for tendon-changing, the eighth for divinity-changing, and the ninth was fate-changing. 
The copy of The Manuscript of Tendon and Marrow Transformation (Level 1) he had in his hand was indeed an incomplete rare manuscript. It only contained Qi-changing instructions in the first layer. 
'Motherf*cker!' 
Fang Zheng's testicles throbbed in pain; he nearly threw the book in his hand, but he eventually chose to put it in place carefully. He was afraid that if any corner of the book was folded, it would be a waste of the runes he obtained when putting his life on the line. Soon after that, Fang Zheng picked up a fake copy of Nine Yang Divine Power. 
This was another debated book. 
Some people claimed that this was a Shaolin skill. 
Others have argued that back when the Quan Zhen denominations Wang Chongyang had a drinking competition with a peculiar person, Wang Chongyang lent a copy of Nine Yin Divine Power to the latter after losing to him in the competition. Later on, the peculiar man hid himself in Shaolin and created Nine Yang Divine Power, as he felt that the Yin energy from Nine Yin Divine Power was too strong. 
There were multiple versions of the story online. 
Fang Zheng eventually decided to evolve his copy of Nine Yang Divine Power to prove a hypothesis he had in his mind. 
Given that Nine Yang Divine Power was one of the top skills in the Jin Yong Series, it was no surprise that it had its own specialties. 
Its true Qi was pure and endless; it was possible to replenish one's true Qi with this skill. 
On top of that, it had the effect of training one's body and strengthening his veins. 
It was also a specific skill to prevent cold and Yin poisons. 
Fang Zheng chose Nine Yang Divine Power in an attempt to fulfil his dream of becoming a martial arts master on top of having it complement the Yang-based Golden Immune Arhat. 
'The most important thing was!

As stated in its name, there were 12 levels to this book. The more powerful your skill was, the faster it was for your true Qi to recover, and the more powerful the effects were from strengthening your veins and fending off the cold and Yin poisons. 
Fang Zheng looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle as he clenched onto the Nine Yang Divine Power (Level 1) in his hand. 
He figured out why he had been getting incomplete copies of rare manuscripts after two rounds of evolution. 
It was the same reason why he couldn't evolve the Mantra of the Five Lightnings, Divine-Crushing Mantra, and Fiend Breaker Tongues. Manuscript of Tendon and Marrow Transformation and Nine Yang Divine Power were both on the top of the martial arts literature pyramid. The effects of perfecting those were way stronger than the usual literature. Therefore, it was only natural that the depletion from the evolutions were greater. 
The Human Skin Scriptures collection of Gray Qi prior to this wasn't enough. Forcing the evolutions only resulted in the First Levels of incomplete rare manuscripts. 
As they did not evolve into complete books, their titles did not change either. They were still The Manuscript of Tendon and Marrow Transformation (Level 1) and Nine Yang Divine Power (Level 1).
If he wanted a complete set of skills, it was easy; he only had to continue risking his life to collect the Gray Qi endlessly. Although this seemed like a bright future—given that these were top of the literature—why did he feel such unprecedented, throbbing pain in his testicles? Fang Zheng was tired. He did not have the energy to curse anymore. 
This was such a waste of his resources!

The next morning Arial was at her desk and putting together the final touches for Harold's speech at the big party tomorrow. He would be one of the publishing houses' guest speakers at the event tomorrow. This was a big deal, as Adryn had been on the team working to secure such a deal for a long time. He had been almost as excited about her manuscript as his news, which had made her feel so special last night. 

She normally wore the same cocktail dress to these events, but had at the last minute popped out this week and bought a new one. The red, sparkler fit her like a glove and made her feel so sexy. It was absolutely not her style, and yet something about it had spoken to her the minute she walked into the boutique. 

Adryn as her date also added to her overall excitement. He knew everyone and was a big extrovert making sure she was introduced into the conversations as his date, and not just sitting on the outskirts as a wallflower. She was more easily to hear all the gossip and tattle, so she had information Harold would request come Monday morning. This spying on others was the least favorite part of the job, but she understood in this cutthroat business everyone took whatever edge they could. 

Now that she had provided Adryn her manuscript, she glanced at the phone on her desk. She wanted to call Mr. 1288 and report her mission success. It was so foolish, that someone she had talked to just a handful of times, could play so prominently into her actions. She chuckled, he was probably some overweight, computer geek that never left his cubicle and if they did meet she wouldn't give him the time of day. The truth was in her mind, he was tall, dark and beautiful with the voice of a god. 

She picked up the phone and dialed it. 

It rang, and rang and rang. 

No voicemail came online. 

No man came online. 

After close to twelve rings, she hung up. 

"See, you are so dumb," she chastised herself, trying to keep the ridiculous disappointment at bay. It was the wrong number after all and not a lifetime commitment. 

She shook her head to clear thoughts spinning, and turned toward her computer. She was determined to make it a productive day, so she set to editing the manuscript she had been working on. Several hours later, leaning back surprised at how much time had passed. She stood, rolled her shoulders and took a small break. 

As she was to sit again, the door opened and a courier walked in with this small bouquet of pale pink roses, in a pretty vase. For a moment, she imagined that someone cared enough for her to send such a sweet sentiment in her direction. She scoffed. 

"I'm sorry, I think you are in the wrong office," she said sweetly. 

"Arial?" He asked her reading the card in the middle of the flowers. 

"Yes," she said trying to figure out who in the world would have sent these. 

"The courier placed the arrangement on the corner of her desk," and backed out slowly still staring at her, before spinning on his heels and exiting. 

She walked slowly over to the perfect arrangement. Not once in her life, had she received flowers at work? The action was unsettling, as she thought through the options of who might have provided such a sweet token. Mr. 1288? Hopefully not! That would mean he knew who she was, but she didn't have the faintest idea of his identity. That would take some of the ease and mystery out of that for her she reasoned. No other names came to mind for secret admirers. Finally, fed up with her own thoughts, she reached out and snatched up the card. 

"I'm so sorry - just remember I did it for your own good! Adryn"

The words jumped off the page at her, and she felt tiny tendrils of panic start to spread throughout her body. What had he done? This was a big apology, and nothing he had ever done to date warranted such as this. She calmly took a breath in, and then out moving to answer the phone as the phone buzzed. 

"Byron Gertz" reflected on the caller id. Her heart fluttered to the skies. He was VP of New Acquisitions and was legendary for the works he was known to have secured for their publishing house. Many of them had already been purchased and turned to movies or television serials. 

"Harold Tolverson's office," Arial answered the phone trying to sound professional, despite her hands shaking. 

"Arial Heart?" The man's voice came through, not even his administrative assistant who was known to be a bear that protected anyone trying to get to Byron. 

"Yes?"

"Could you come up to my office?"

"When?"

"How about now?"

"Mr. Tolverson isn't in yet," she whispered trying to swallow down the panic around her throat closing. 

"No worries, I just need to see you," he said gruffly. 

"Okay," she squeaked and without another word replaced the receiver in its cradle. 

The phone immediately rang again, and it was 1288. She couldn't deal with that right now. He was going to get no answer from her until she knew what was going on upstairs. She didn't want to break the spell Mr. 1288 had on her with the stress coursing through her veins. She thought to call Adryn, but was afraid she might bark something at him she would regret. 

Standing, she tried inhaling and exhaling away from the stress as she checked her reflection in a small mirror she removed from her purse. A light touch up of her lip gloss was the best she could do with that pale, wide-eyed face. She needed to be on her way. 

As she traveled the hallway to the elevators in a trance, her brain couldn't process anything going on at this moment. Hitting the top button selection once inside, and she was on her way. The entire time she tried to come up with the reason for this visit. She had messed up Harold's last manuscript. No, Byron wasn't dealing with Harold's work at all. Nothing! She could not come up with anything.

As she took in the opulent surroundings as she exited the elevator, so different from the utilitarian floor she had just left, it did nothing to salve her nerves. She stepped up to the receptionist and waited patiently trying to stop kneading her hands together. 

"Can I help you?" The receptionist asked. 

"Arial Heart, to see Mr. Gertz."

"Ah yes, he is expecting you. If you would have a seat, I'll let him know you are here," said the receptionist sealing her fate. 

Arial would just have to be patient a moment longer to see what this life changing request of her presence would bring.

When Arial calls the wrong extension at work, she find a voice on the other end she wants to call again or maybe he could be the one she was looking for all along.

Ajabde Raichand !!!

A  name that was currently a sensation around the globe....

Her name hit the top spot of all the search engines... 

Her achievements were the talk of the globe...

She was the only grand child of the current Field Marshall of the Indian Army Jaiswal Raichand and the First Lady Air Marshall of the Indian Air Force Muktolekha  Raichand.(nee.Rathod).

After the death of her adoptive mother,  she was sent to Jaiswal Raichand as per the instructions that she had left with Father Fernandez. 
Her adoptive mother Mohona Chatterjee was actually the only friend and confidant that Ajabde's biological mother Srishti Raichand ever had. When she came back to India being pregnant with Ajabde , it was Mohona and her son Aakash who looked after her... But due to weak body and the trauma that she had suffered,  she didn't make it. 

She died at child birth. 

She had left all the information related to her family in possession of Mohona Chatterjee. When Mohona's life was in threat,  she left Ajabde along with Srishti's family information in the capable hands of Father Fernandez and Brother Ashwin...

Thus, signaling Yuma to join in , they began to scrutinize her. Yuma readily agreed because he too was having similar thoughts. 

Dr. Ruchika spoke about various random topics , current trends and personal views.  The more Ajabde spoke with them ,  the more amazed  they were. Her upbringing , thoughts and view of the world was unlike any of those women who have so far tried to tie the bell on Aahil.
The fact that she was in Aahil's memories and was offen spoken off by Aahil even though they never personally met was a huge achievement.

Father and Brother quietly watched as the scene unfold itself. They were not worried about her at all. They had inculcated the best upbringing that was possible on her and groomed her in ever possible way . It was now time for application. She would have to use everything she had learned to over come every obstacle that would be thrown at her way time and again. 

Amazed and mesmerised by Ajabde's charms,  intelligence and views the gathering not only  lost their track on time but forgot about their problems at hand. It wasn't until Brother Ashwin sight landed on the cctv camera screen that he was reminded of the reason behind Ajabde's visit and also clicked a brilliant idea.  

" Ahem.. I'm sorry to break this lovely gathering but Ajabde weren't you here to collect the manuscript ??"

" Oh!  Yes... that's right,  I almost forgot about that.... " she replied seemly remembering her purpose of visiting today. 

" Then you better hurry up.... I remember your grandfather said he wanted you back to the hotel before his appointment this afternoon.. "
Brother added handing her the  manuscript. 

Ajabde quickly took the manuscript,  bid goodbye to everyone and dashed out of the office. 

Just as Ajabde left the office ,  Dr. Ruchika wanted to say something but before she could even utter a sound Brother signaled her to towards the CCTV screen. Not understanding what Brother Ashwin was upto everybody watched the CCTV screen holding their breath, as if something big was going to happen. 

At the moment the cctv screen was showing the area of the elevator and the staircase which was situated side by side right outside the office. 

Indeed big....  

What just happened outside was no disappointment , instead was to good to be true....

Dr. Ruchika finally understood why Brother sent away Ajabde so hastily. 

Yuma  was having difficultity in recognizing his own master.

At the elevator front.... 

After being reminded by Brother about her grandfather's appointment Ajabde was in a terrible rush to get back to the hotel. With the manuscript in hand she made a run for the elevator . 

Inside the elevator Aahil too was very impatient and distracted.  He wanted to talk to Father regarding the incident with Kady as soon as possible and find out what happened at Nath Villa.

Thus two strangers who were at present oblivious about the existence of the other were made to cross paths.  Ajabde who was in a rush to get in the elevator and Aahil who was also in a rush to come out of the elevator collided at the elevator door .

The collision caused the manuscript to scatter away it's pages...

" Ah!!!  I'm sorry... I'm really sorry sir.. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going... I'm really sorry... " Ajabde apologized and quickly crouched down to gather the pages of the manuscript .

While Ajabde's approach was apologetic, Aahil's was a bolt out of the blue. 

At first he wanted to chew out the person for bumping into him but when he saw her face ... He could no longer differentiate between dreams and reality. 

' Is she for real or am I still dreaming? ' he thought. 

He slowly crouched down to her level , intently staring at her.  He was observing her each and every movement,  trying to figure out whether she was real or his hallucination. He didn't dare to blink,  he was afraid that if he did she would disappear just like in his dreams. 

Her creamy milky skin, her dark silky soft hair,  her clear mythical eyes and captivating smile , everything was just like his dream. He knew every detail of her features , except for her voice. That was the silver line between his dream and reality.

Previously when he had hallucinations about her he wanted to give her a piece of his mind and the same torture that he had given to women who threw themselves on him. He made plans to vent out all his frustration that he was experiencing because of her on her.

However,  when he was finally able to meet her in person he was a mess. His mind  couldn't utter a single word,  never mind his voice. His heart beat raced inside his chest and echoed in his ear. His throat was dry, hands were sweaty and his thoughts were totally blank... 

All in all ' The Aahil Oberoi ' was extremely nervous .... 

This was the first time in his life that he was nervous.. Generally he was known for his fearlessness and cold minded demeanour. Thus him being nervous , that to under the presence of a girl was unimaginable. 


Ajabde who was completely ignorent of Aahil's inner turmoil collected all the pages of the manuscript , stood up to apologize once again and turned to leave. 

Just as she was about to descend the first step of the staircase  , Aahil hugged her from the back.  She was startled by his action and her body stiffened up on instinct. Because Aahil's action was so sudden,  once again the manuscript fell from her hand and scattered itself all over the staircase. 

Aahil's actions may have been sudden but they were beyond gentle as he held her in his arms. He held her so gently as if she was made of glass and would break away if he applied even a slightest bit of force.  Aahil could sense her guard. 

" Please... 

Don't go.... 

Why do you already have to leave when I finally found you. ???"

Aahil's voice was painful and sad  yet it was filled with longing for her as he hid his face in her silky soft hair.  A sweet scent filled his nostrils intoxicating him.  It was not the scent of the perfume , it was natural.  It was the scent of the maiden.  

Moving away from her,  he slowly turned her to face him.  
" Please... don't be scared... 
I won't do anything to hurt... 
It's just that I have been looking for you for so long... and today I finally found you ---"
Aahil said in a gentle soothing tone but  he couldn't finish his words.

" Looking for me!!!... 
But sir.... I don't even know you.. "
Ajabde could sense the man's gentleness and caring attitude in his actions but still she can never let her guard down. At the moment  all she wanted was to get out of the man's grasp and back to the hotel .Thus she was forced to cut him off. 

Hearing the words [ I don't even know you ] in her nightingale like voice Aahil was stunned.  He felt something shattering away inside him.  He couldn't believe that the girl he had been hallucinating for two decades,  tried every means to find her doesn't even know about him. 

No one was to blame for there situation.  If anyone was at fault it was time. 

 Currently they were stuck in a contradicting reality . 

At present they were strangers but their past said otherwise.. 

Using the opportunity of Aahil's momentary shock she got herself out of his grasp and entered the elevator. Aahil tried to stop her but before he could the elevator doors were already closed.
