That is to ask them for help. 

It might sound pretty strange, but when you ask someone to help their relationship become closer to each other, but of course, you can't ask something impossible. 

"What is it? I'll do it for you," Utaha asked with an expectation. 

"I hope you can persuade Machida-san to resign from her office," Haru said.

Utaha blinked her eyes and seemed to be very shocked. "Why?" Her relationship with Machida was quite close and it surprised her to hear his request.

"Isn't being young good? She can accept change and she is very ambitious," Haru said. 

"Why not Kadokawa?" Utaha asked. She thought about the company where she and Haru published their books together. 

Haru shook his head and said, "Too expensive. I don't think that it is worth it to buy that company." He had a lot of comics, novels, anime, games, and a lot of things on his head. He thought that it was better to buy a medium publishing company that was quite famous rather than making it from zero. 

"Good, I will help you," Utaha said. She thought for a while and asked, "Have you invited her? Your relationship is very good, right?" Her tone was quite sour when she asked this question. 

Haru smiled and held her hand. "You don't need to be jealous. Our relationship is close but not as close as the two of us." He moved his head closer and kissed her forehead. 

Utaha smiled sweetly looking at him then suddenly remembered something. "Oh, right! I have brought my manuscript, do you want to read it?" 

"Sure," Haru said. 

Utaha took out her manuscript, but she became slightly nervous when she wanted to give it to him. She took a deep breath and said, "Read it." 

"Good." Haru nodded and took her manuscript. He opened it and took his reading glasses. It wasn't that he had bad eyes, but it had become a habit after Megumi had brought him these glasses. He wore his glasses and started to read it. 

Utaha had a calm expression, but her heart wasn't calm. She was happy that Haru had decided to buy a publishing company and she was also happy to help him to persuade Machida to join his company, but she was slightly disappointed when he didn't invite her to his company. She was disappointed, but she was more spirited to show her power to him. However, she had to admit that these glasses on his face seemed handsome giving him a scholar image. 

Haru didn't need a long time to read Utaha's manuscript. He had to admit that it was quite interesting, but he knew that she could do more. He placed the manuscript on the table and said, "First, as a fan, I have to say that I am really happy to read your first manuscript." 

Utaha smiled and said, "Thank you." 

"It's good, but you can do better," Haru said. 

"Do better?" Utaha raised her eyebrow. 

"I have to remind you first that you have told me that you want to become the best-selling writer, right?" Haru said. 

"That's right." Utaha nodded. 

"I can't pamper you when I read your manuscript. I need to be strict in this situation since I don't want to become a shackle that is preventing you from growing," Haru said. 

Utaha felt warm inside hearing his words and nodded. "Don't hesitate and tell me anything." 

"Really?" Haru said. 

"Yes, do it. I am ready," Utaha said, trying to provoke him. 

"Good, let me tell you what is wrong with this manuscript....." Haru said and started with his analysis. 

Utaha listened to him then her expression turned ugly then she also started to get angry at him. 

They started to argue with each other about this manuscript. 

Utaha who listened to Haru had her own argument and told him what she had thought during this editing session. Even though she had to admit some of Haru's ideas were very good, she didn't want to admit it. 

Their discussion was quite long and they had stayed in this cafe for a few hours. 

"Y - You bastard," Utaha said while looking at him hatefully. 

"I love you," Haru said and kissed her forehead. 

Utaha still had a resentment on her heart, but everything disappeared when she was kissed. She snuggled into his arms and said, "You're really a sadist." 

"I have told you before that I won't pamper you. Your dream is big and it isn't easy," Haru said. 

"I know," Utaha said in a low voice. 

"But I am here, I might be very strict during an editing session, but I'll pamper you with a lot more," Haru said and kissed her hair. 

Utaha looked at him and asked, "Is this carrot and stick method?" 

"This is love," Haru said. 

"......" Utaha sighed and thought that there were a lot of things that she needed to change. 

"That's right, can I ask you one more request?" Haru said. 

"What is it?" Utaha asked. 

"Cancel your contract and come to my company," Haru said. 

"........" Utaha was surprised when she heard it. "I thought that you didn't have an interest in my book." 

"No, I have a really big interest. I'll pay the cancellation fee and make you the writer in my company later," Haru said. 

Utaha snorted and said, "You want to make money from this talented writer?" 

"Yes, but you don't need to worry that your contract is going to be good since you're the girlfriend of the CEO," Haru said. 

Utaha rolled her eyes and suddenly thought of something. "CEO falling in love with a normal girl?" 

Haru looked at Utaha and thought this woman might have a strange idea for a new book.

The next day started like usual, Sam woke up and took a shower, prepared breakfast for Em and then took her to school. After all that happened yesterday it was weird that the day started so normally but Em seemed to have forgotten about it so Sam didn't say much and just left her be after a reminder, even if she spoke about what happened yesterday who would believe that Sam had a gun ? If someone believes her and called the police they wouldn't find anything so everything was fine. He was a bit worried about Tony and Leo trying to take revenge but they were just small time gangsters, of course they'll be too afraid to try him when he could be carrying a gun all the time. Back at the present Sam dropped Em at school, he greeted teacher Rose on his way and left for school. As the bike was way faster than the subway it took him way less time to arrive.

"Hey Sam you got a bike ?"
"Yo Eric, cool right ?"

Eric came closer to take a look and then looked at Sam weirdly...

"This sticker..."

He was speaking about a half torn Yamaha sticker on the front.

"Did you steal this from Tony ?"

Eric kept looking at him weirdly, would someone really give away his beloved bike to someone he hate?

Said Sam, the weird look Eric threw him really made him uncomfortable. When they arrived in the class Tony was already sitting in the front row, he looked back and slowly took a piece of paper from his bag. He walked with shaking legs toward Sam and then gave him the piece of paper with misty eyes, it seemed like he was gonna cry. He just wiped his eyes and left back to his seat, meanwhile Sam was checking the paper. Now the bike was his, he'd just have to change the name on the paper and everything was done.

After school Sam picked up Em and went toward the recording studio, he directly went into Keith's room without knocking.

"Yo Keith, I wanna do an original song. Can you help me ?"

Keith was sitting in front of his computer and playing a game, he looked at Sam and smiled

"Do you have anything ready ?"

"Yeah I've worked on the guitar melody, I'm busy with the lyrics at the moment and I'll need you to do the post prod work."

Em was already sitting on the couch playing a game on Sam's phone, she never cared much about what they talked about. Whenever they came here she just sat on the same couch and played the same games.

They were finally done around 7 pm. Em was tired and wanted to go home so he left Keith do the rest of the work, he gave him the instructions and now just had to wait for him to get done with his job.

Time went by slowly, Sam had tons of works to do. With the help of Keith they came closer and closer to a satisfying result, since Sam couldn't keep Em with him everyday she'd spend a lot of time at Annie's place playing with her friend Rika.

Right now the song was written, recorded and produced. Sam's fulfilling feeling was accompanied by a confused one, 'what next ?' He thought, what was the next step ?

He was sitting on a second chair in front of Keith's material and both of them were eating a sandwich they had bought from a convenience store not too far.

After a long week of work the song was done, during this week Sam had skipped at least half his classes. Well this will be in the future, in the present he went and took Em home before once again sitting on his old computer's chair. Usually he would have images to go with his covers, they were the videos of him singing. This time also he had shots of him, and Keith working on the song but he wanted to make it look better so he opened the video editing software. This was actually the most expensive software on the market and of course he didn't buy it, a while ago he dowloaded illegally it but never tried it.

After a double click a short window appeared, the loading bar kept going until his screen went black and the computer turned off.

He finally remembered why he went to the pc room to do his video edits until now, this computer was really an antique... It was finally time to buy a new one, he didn't know much about computers but he could at least guess that the more expensive it was the better it will be.

He turned on the computer again and just went on a simple web site, Amazon. He knew that at this day it was the best online store, you could find anything you wanted on there.
After a bit of research he was hesitating between an Apple product or the last laptop by Acer. Both were excellent and had their pros and cons, thinking back to the students taking out Macs laptops in class he couldn't refrain from choosing that. Mac had top notch design, it looked so pure and clean that no other brand could rival them on that point.

Finally he decided to buy a silver MacBook Air for the insane sum of 1400€. Now that he had money he wouldn't mind wasting some on his own pleasure. With this purchase he had used up almost all the money he got from the sponsorship, he'd need another video with their Logo on it to make money so he'd do his best to make the guitar look better in his next video.

After making the purchase he went to sleep, the computer will be arriving in less than 24 hours and tomorrow both him and Em didn't have class so he wanted to rest because she'll probably want to do some crazy stuff as usual.

The next morning when Em woke up breakfast was already ready and sitting comfortably on the table only waiting for her.

Sam was sitting in front of TV watching a french movie, the acting was terrible but he thought he could learn a thing or two from them in case he had to act one day, it wasn't a rare occurrence that singers or rapper are invited to act in a movie or a series, for exemple if you watched attentively you can see Ed Sheeran as a guest in Game of Thrones.

"Why are you watching this ?"

Em' asked while holding her breakfast and sitting near him.

"What do you want to watch ?"

She said with her mouth full, she even spat a bit on Sam.

"Aaah i told you to don't speak with your mouth full !"

He didn't yell at her and just rebuked her a little, he had to teach her some things but he loved her way too much to yell at her. Then he did as asked and put cartoons on TV.

"Hahah sorry!"

She said after slowly chewing and swallowing her food. 

"Anyway, what do you want to do today ?"

The last time they had some free time together was when he took her to film him doing the outside "show". Today he wanted her to have a real fun day, not to help him.

"Whatever I want ?! Hahah ok then let's go shopping !"

At the same time he got a message from Roland saying : "Hey Sam, taking your time for a new video huh ? The boss is becoming impatient."

He finally remembered that the boss originally didn't want to make a partnership with him, his mind was changed by the luck stats so he must probably be wondering why he changed his mind.

Murakami: But it also means that it's more like hit and miss.

Reili: True because they don't get the feedback from fans.

Zenith: Yeah, but it surely is better than nothing.

Murakami: And they're left with a bunch of abstract and vague advice that they have no idea how to implement.

Reili: If they don't enjoy it, the feedback won't be as insightful.

Zenith: They can learn from their mistakes from reading their own works.

Zenith: If possible, from platforms.

Murakami: If they knew how to do that they'd fix it and publish it.

Reili: It would make the process easier if someone who enjoys the book to give them better feedback.

Zenith: It's called rewriting from scratch, and it takes a tonne of time if the author feels more interested in some other idea of his, he would do that.

Reili: I suppose so since the author being inspired will bring his book along.

VKBoy: If the ones giving review are professional editors, then they don't necessarily have to have read your work with immersion because their suggestions will still likely cover the basic flaws that amateurish writers usually make.

Reili: Point taken.

Reili: Then again, its a little bit like movie critics. They may hate the movie, but fans love it.

Zenith: Professionals in the said field prefer not taking risks. Especially in movies, but books, you can keep trying.

VKBoy: Well, if there are errors in the first page itself, that's a whole different thing, lol.

Murakami: No, but a good editor can tell the writing quality from just the first page even if you've crafted it perfectly, they can just tell that the rest will be shit.

Reili: That being said, the more I write, the better my basic grammar became.

Reili: I do read mtl sometimes since I can't wait for chaps, but then I find myself reading in broken English and must stop.

learning "usage" is hard.

VKBoy: lol, if you read mtl, your IQ drops. Believe me, this can affect a person's writing skill in the long run.

Author's Notes

I'm sure you've read this a few times in the previous chapters, but I had been reading MTL chapters for the past few years. I usually read "Completed" stories, and most of them are around 2-4k chapters each. Of course, I read the translated chapters first. After I reach the latest translated chapter, I will immediately jump to *cough* Google Translate.

Yeah~ I know. Reading chapters through Google Translate was the most…epic mistake I did in the past. I've finished World Defying Dan God, Battle Through the Heavens uhh…and a few more novels using Google Translate.

In the later years, I discovered lnmtl.com, which gave me a better translation (at least the names of the characters are not written like Cloud Che instead of Yun Che (Against the Gods). 

To be perfectly honest, If I didn't start writing, I would have continued to read these machine translated chapters even now. Reading MTL works if English is not your first language.

This is something that those with English as their main language will scoff at. However, for those who just want to read. As in reading something without worrying about anything else, then they won't care even if it's a machine translated chapter. As long as they will be able to read the NEXT chapter, then it's all good.

This is also the reason why I admire translators. If not for them, these stories that we are not aware of will not be able to grace us with their presence. I would like to thank the translators of my favorite novels like Lord of Mysteries, Release that Witch, Against the Gods, Cultivation Chatgroup, Second Coming of Avarice, and so many other titles that I won't be able to list here.

To my beloved readers, if there will come a time when you feel like writing a story of your own and you're reading machine translated chapters, please stop now. I'm saying this for your own good. 

I understand how you feel. Believe me I do, but for the sake of the story you're going to write in the future, heed my advice. Stop now, while you still have the chance. Learning how to write from scratch with broken English is a painful process.

Then again, if you find an editor who is a masochist, consider yourself lucky. Let them clean up your mess for you, so you can focus on writing your story, and learn the art of writing while you write.

I have completed editing of chapters 7-25, I have completed formatt editing there just some stuff I just realized I need to check on with the format for good measure, I have also added the disclaimers and reposted chapters 7-25. Keep in mind that all authors notes are unaltered.

In the edited chapters some plot holes but not all plot-holes have been fixed and removed, the plot remains the same its just their was some conflicting information in the now edited chapters.

The illustration I made of Rocyl's symbol has been removed and is neither on any platforms or in the manuscript.

I did this when I was reposting because I was tired and hungry and I am still hungry as I write this... Hopefully after I check my notifications I can go down stairs and eat food.

Chapters 1-6 were edited far before book one was complete late at night a few months ago last year I think it was last year, so if there are still errors in there it cuz I was tired when I was editing them.
Chapters 26-60 were edited before being posted and after being written.

Hello readers. I'm currently not able to access the site using my laptop. I'm not sure when this problem will be solved but until then I'm not going to post any chapters. I could write with my phone but it would drop the quality since my phone is not installed with proof reading software which help with my editing. I don't have an editor and I'm working on this novel on my own. Being a non-native english speaker myself, I would surely make a lot of mistakes while writing. (Even with the software I would do mistakes here and there. Imagine doing so without one ㅠㅠ) I hope this problem could be resolved soon. Thank you for your understanding. By then I will continue drafting.

I am also adding more to previous(Level 14, part 1) chapter, because at Wednesday I had no time to properly finish it, so I felt that I have to do it properly! Fixing some mistakes that I found thanks to software. Added arrows, that people asked for)) Added things that I wanted to initially add and etc.
Chapter will still remain mostly foundational and these types of chapters will often appear in the beginning until year 2-3 maybe, because leveling will slow down by that time substantially. And by the time MC will reach higher levels, this kind of chapters will pretty rare.
I will republish it in a few minutes. Will just do a final read before publishing, and fix mistakes missed at pre-editing. 
Me editing and republishing chapter doesn't mean there will be no chapter today, so no need to worry))
