list of books and stories, my thoughts on them, general information about them, and at least on place they can be found if you want to read them. will update as I get the chance ( meaning when I'm not reading)

The more I read, the more it feels how inadequate and little I was. My existence was mere a tiny grain through all of the history written with black in these books, stroke by stroke. 

Poison blood is a hereditary, inherited by female of Marracke bloodline.  A long time ago, Marracke was among those who had fought to protect the border between two worlds. Something had happened after the third war between human and supernatural beings and turned the Marracke gone into seclusion. It wasn't after the fourth war that they came out and fought, pushing the supernatural to their new world and human to their world, drawing a line between two oppositions. It was then discovered that Marracke blood could kill any supernatural beings. And it was believed that they birth rate had decreased, and each generation bear only one heir. Since their blood kills supernatural beings, they could only conceive with human male as their blood doesn't react to human. 

I huffed for the last bit. My eyes glint over that phrase. Could only conceive with human male,huh? Judging from what I am right now, I don't believe that even a little bit. Gathering from all my interaction, what I had learned from Laura and all the past assassinations... my parents death.. 

'The traits of Marracke bloodline:

-Blood red eyes
-poisonous blood
-alluring scent of intoxicating poppy and pure spring'

Brushing slightly on my left side eyes, I exhaled loudly. Blowing few strands of hair away from my face. 

Short list of traits I see. It seems that they had less information about Marracke. 

'Marracke blood are called as the Cursed blood, evil blood, elixir of doom and some had started to called them as the Tempests as they had come wrecking chaos everywhere they went like a tempest. Most of them were slaughtered and it was known that only one bloodline had survived the ordeal and went into hiding...' then the stroke of ink changed a little bit there. as if the author had a slight hesitation on writing it.

'Lady Reisha Marracke had broken her engagement with the Dark King and The White King long before she was afflicted with the poisonous blood. This had in turn had changed the whole world as it is. I am afraid that none will be spared of the rampage from within.. Lady Reisha had parted with us with her final words 'I am not for them. She will be borne a mix of amethyst and bloodstone. For your fate she hold' 

I know to heed that as Lady Reisha was always known to be able to gaze a future where even the eye of time couldn't reach. I am waiting for that to come and wish that I could bear witness of what to come'

Well, there is nothing much I could learned from there.. I sighed dejectedly. I keep on flipping the books and soon came to types of beings recorded in the book. It was thick, ancient and would seems like it could crumble with a slight flick. 

Nighter:

With their impossible black hair, they had three lives and amethyst eyes. The darker it is the more pure blooded they are. Known to wield mysterious powers. It is not known what type of power they possessed since they rarely put a show on it. And those who had bear witness to it, end up bringing their secrets to their death. Caution : run when met with one.'

That one was quite interesting. Scary but interesting indeed but I'm not sure I would want to meet one.. except... I reread the line and brush light at the corner of my right eyes. I scanned every books within the room. The room wasnt that big and it gave out sense of 'Important Room' that held secret information. 


After what seems like few hours perusing through all of the books here, Esbar came through the portal.
"I am sorry Ms.Kea but the time is up. If you wish to read more, you can continue to do so on the general hall." 
My eyes widen, and quickly checked my phone. One whole day has indeed passed and it was rather quickly that it surprised me.
"Thank you, Esbar. I think I got it all" I stood up and stretch slowly all the while letting my eyes skim through the last bit before closing it.
"You can just leave it on the table, as I'll put it back latter" I nodded.
"Thank you again. It helped me a lot"
"I surely hope do so, Ms. Kea"
He showed me the way back to the general hall.
"This card, can I used it any time I want or is it one time only?"
He look at me surprised.
"You can enter this library one time only unless you have the gate key authority to provide you another one. As it is, gaining one is really hard as I was informed by my people"
"Why it is?"
"You have to meet any king as they had the gate key. They control who can have access to the books here."
That didn't surprised me at all. Since, knowledges is equal power itself. I nodded.

If its like that then, I am going through as much as I can before leaving this place.

Zhang Zian was busy the whole day and now it was almost time for him to go to bed. 
Zhang Zian had been exhausted throughout the day, but now that he knew the elves' lives could be extended, his tiredness vanished completely. However, he hadn't told the news to Old Time Tea or the other elves yet. As Pi had said, it wasn't the right time. If he hastily told the news to everyone, they would be too expectful. The reality might be too disappointing. For that reason, they might as well not know about it in the first place. 
Even if the lifetime of the elves really could be extended infinitely, the elves had to go through an extremely difficult process to do so. Judging from Pi's stern expression as it read the untitled book, Zhang Zian figured that this may be his biggest challenge and trial since he downloaded the Pet Hunter game.
Although he couldn't understand the untitled book, whether it was the Hyperwebster Dictionary, The Book of Sand, or a fantasy book from another civilization in the universe, he was still very grateful for it. Without it, he wouldn't have found out about such reassuring and hopeful news.
The elves had fallen asleep, one after the other. Before going to sleep, Richard had been very active that night, as if everything put him in a good mood. Zhang Zian had to hang it upside down to calm it down. 
When everyone was in bed, Pi was still sitting in front of the computer, typing away.
"Pi, did the noise bother you?" Zhang Zian came over and asked. He knew how annoying Richard and Snowy Lionet were.
Pi shook its head no.
"Well, we're all going to bed now. Please go to sleep as soon as you finish writing." Zhang Zian brought over a small desk lamp. The lamp light was turned away from the bedroom, so it wouldn't affect anyone's sleeping.
He didn't plan on telling Pi what he was doing later, because he wasn't sure whether he would be successful or not. He didn't want Pi to be disappointed after giving it so much hope. 
Pi grinned and nodded.
Zhang Zian glanced at the elves again. After confirming that each elfin was in its correct place, he turned off the ceiling light. 
With the light from the desk lamp and his own nightlight, he laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling, listening to Pi type. He thought about the elves' lives for a while, and then thought about the situation of Uncle Li's diner. He tried to allow all of his thoughts to occupy his mind and keep himself from falling asleep.
About an hour later he heard a click, and the fan noise from the laptop disappeared. Pi turned off the desk lamp and the room grew darker. It climbed into the basket hammock chair to go to sleep.
Zhang Zian kept his eyes open for a while, and almost fell asleep. He pinched his thighs to keep himself awake. 
He looked up and guessed that Pi had already fallen asleep. Then, he grabbed his cell phone by his pillow and opened the Qidian app.
That day, as he watched Pi write, he had secretly browsed the Internet on his cell phone, trying to find out what the amazing reading lists were.
After he finished researching, he knew that reading lists were an important supplement to the Official Recommendation Spots from the Qidian website. A reading list was created by an individual, who would list his or her favorite books and the reasons why they would recommended those books on their list. If other readers agreed with the owner's suggestions, they would start following the creator of the list. The reading list owners were similar to bloggers who reviewed digital products on video websites, and the digital products recommended by bloggers tended to receive more attention. Some reading list owners even had tens of thousands of followers. 
After careful searching, Zhang Zian discovered that the reading list owners were roughly divided into two categories. One type introduced and reviewed each book in great length, while the other kind of reading list owners introduced each book with only one sentence. The former type attracted much more followers than the latter. After all, through the detailed evaluations and introductions, the readers could tell that the reading list owners had put in a lot of work into every book. 
That day, he had mentally noted the reading list owners' IDs who wrote long book reviews and then went to the comment sections of their lists. He first ruled out the most popular reading list owners, because in their comment sections, numerous authors or authors who pretended to be readers were promoting their own books. Those reading list owners wouldn't be able to read all the books being recommended to them, even if they tried to read 24 hours a day.
As for the reading list owners that attracted fewer followers, their comment sections were basically empty. It wouldn't be helpful for Zhang Zian to advertise Pi's novel in those lists. 
After more research, he targeted a reading list owner who had the tenth most followers. The ID name of the reading list owner was Morning Gorilla Star, who was mentioned by the author of Diplomats of the Underworld. 
Morning Gorilla Star had written down his requirements about posting advertisements in his comment: Do not copy and paste your ads. I will promote urban novels that have no or only one female protagonist.
Zhang Zian felt relieved when he read these requirements. He was extremely popular with women, and many cute girls were desperately hoping to be his girlfriend. Pi had just hidden this fact while writing the novel based on the life in Zhang Zian's pet shop. Therefore, Pi's novel had managed to meet Morning Gorilla Star's requirements.
Advertising was like sending resumes to hiring managers. The key points of the novel must be written as concisely as possible. What was the highlight of Pi's novel? It certainly wasn't that the protagonist didn't have a girlfriend! 
He typed on his phone: Can I promote my own book? The title of the book is Pet King. The protagonist, who is the owner of a pet shop, downloads a game that can capture elves. Together with the elves, he witnesses the growth of the pet shop. There is no female protagonist in this book. 
He thought it over and added "Currently" in front of the sentence, "There is no female protagonist in this book." Then, he satisfyingly clicked the "Send" button.
After sending the message, Zhang Zian repeatedly refreshed the comment section and anxiously waited for a reply from the reading list owner, just like a job seeker who was constantly refreshing emails and nervously waiting for replies after sending out his resume. Zhang Zian had read the books recommended by Morning Gorilla Star, and all the books were well-written. Perhaps Morning Gorilla Star wouldn't think Pi's novel was good enough. However, Zhang Zian hoped that Morning Gorilla Star, who had read countless books, could at least tell him why Pi's novel failed to be recommended by him. In that case, Zhang Zian could help Pi revise the novel. Zhang Zian was acting like a job seeker who was close to starving to death and desperately needed a job, whatever the job was, to feed himself.
Since it was nearly one o'clock in the morning, the owner had probably gone to bed already. Watching his comment drowning in other comments from authors promoting their own books, Zhang Zian couldn't help but sigh in dismay.
Perhaps he sighed too loud, because Zhang Zian heard a squeaking sound come from the hammock chair. It sounded like Pi had turned over.
He locked his phone screen and waited a little longer. He didn't unlock his phone until there wasn't any more sounds coming from the chair.
What should he do?
He was very sleepy. Should he wait till the reading list owner woke up and try advertising again? 
No, he shouldn't wait. Tomorrow, Pi would receive its first Minor Recommendation Spot. If its novel failed to be ranked in the top three or top four spots, it might never have a chance to receive a recommendation again.
With that thought, he decided to advertise on another reading list. Advertising was just like begging, and as long as he could swallow his pride now, he would gradually become thick-skinned. 
This time, he lowered his expectations by moving his attention from the reading list owners with tens of thousands of followers to ones with hundreds of followers, hoping that some of them hadn't fallen asleep yet.
Zhang Zian noticed that there was one whose ID was Yang Chenkong. In his reading list, Yang Chenkong wrote reviews with thousands of words for each book and offered many thoughtful insights. However, Yang Chenkong only had a mere 3,000 followers. Would it really be useful to advertise in this list?
Zhang Zian desperately went to the comment section. To his surprise, he saw that this reading list owner was still online, discussing his opinions with his friends about a certain book. 
Zhang Zian hadn't read the book that they were talking about. However, from reading their conversation, Zhang Zian felt as if he had read it and learned about its successes and failures. From observing, Zhang Zian could tell that Yang Chenkong was very professional. 
For some reason, the comment section of his reading list was blank and had no advertisements. Zhang Zian chuckled to himself. He could take advantage of this rare opportunity to advertise. 
There were some basic rules of advertising for all reading lists. Unlike like people who put advertisements in bathrooms,  book-promoting advertisements couldn't be randomly posted. Each reading list owner had different requirements for advertisements. For example, Morning Gorilla Star had explicitly stated that he would only recommend novels with no or one female protagonist. Yang Chenkong, however, had a wide range of book choices. Except for supernatural novels, Yang Chenkong basically read every genre. 
However, the most difficult thing was that the list owner didn't specify which book genres he would recommend, and Zhang Zian didn't know how to cater to his preferences. After thinking about it for a while, Zhang Zian rewrote the message that he had sent to Morning Gorilla Star. He deleted the sentence "Currently, there is no female protagonist in this book." He added, "Feel free to read the sample chapters, but don't blame me if you're poisoned (Translator's Note: Read and Poison sound the same in Chinese)," hoping that his self-deprecating tone would draw Yang Chenkong's attention. 
After clicking "Send", he was too tired to repeatedly refresh the comment section as he did before. It was almost half past one in the morning, and he would need to get up early that day.
Putting down his cell phone, Zhang Zian lay down flat on the bed. Soon, he was half-awake and half-asleep, and he would completely fall asleep at any moment. 
In the darkness, Pi had been watching him the whole time. It had barely moved, except to slightly change its posture after its legs started to get numb.
Pi had always known about Zhang Zian's actions. It could tell from Zhang Zian's exhaustion. 
Since Zhang Zian was so tired, it wouldn't matter if he did these things later, right?
Pi opened its mouth and silently imitated the shape of someone saying "thank you."
What?
Zhang Zian thought he heard something. It seemed like someone was talking to him. He barely could open his eyes. His drowsiness was as heavy as a mountain, pressing down on his eyelids.
He looked around and found nothing out of the ordinary. He unlocked his phone screen and saw that it was past two in the morning. 
Since he hadn't logged out from the Qidian app yet, he clicked open Yang Chenkong's comment section, the second reading list owner he advertised on that night, hoping to find Yang Chenkong's review on Pi's novel. However, he found no review, and saw that the advertisement he had posted was gone.
No wonder the comment section was so empty. As it turned out, Yang Chenkong deleted all of the advertisements in his comment section. Zhang Zian's efforts were again all in vain. 
He couldn't keep his eyes open anymore. He shoved his cell phone under his pillow and fell asleep.

Ryan had booked a flight to volterra italy. he just brought a backpack with some clothes a passport his magical I'd and his phone. his shadows had been staking out volterra for the better part of a year finding hideouts who the members where the location of vaults some information on the volturi coven which had been around for more than 3000 years they had amassed a huge amount of wealth mostly from tourists and people they have eaten I mean your not just going to throw out free money right? I mean it's just a little blood. he was taking teacher with him to make sure he got everyone he would give certain people a choice other simple no choice at all after all he needed a nice kings guard. and what one would be better than a 3000 year old proven one. 

he stepped off the plane and got a taxi the rest of the way to volterra he had also switched into his vampire form for just in case purposes. he looked around the town and had to admit it was beautiful like a Roman city covered in statues made of marble talking about saint Marcus the vampire slayer ironically enough.  he summoned his teacher who had on a hooded cloak. and walked right through the front door most of the time the whole group stayed in the throne style room and just waited to be fed like lazy vampires. he passed by the secretary who apparently knew everything that was going on and just wanted to be a vampire and *zziiipp* enkidu through the heart no questions asked he walked right into the crowded throne room and chains started to seal off everything there was no escape no running and no mercy on a cold chilling smile. everyone looked up at him and froze from bloodline surpression he was behind the chains and they were basically like caged little birds. "pleasure to make your acquaintance my name is Ryan and I'll be asking a few questions today and making a few slight changes to some leadership around here." I said with a cheerful smile.

"first off which of you guys is Aro, Caius, and Marcus?" then I noticed them from a picture I had seen in the Cullens home abd there was even one just right there on the wall. how convenient. my chains shot out binding them and dragging them forward. "nice to meet you and goodbye" my blood covered them and started absorbing them much to the guards horror. I felt pressures slip right off my mental barriers and just smiled after a few minutes the 3 leaders were no more. I had gained 2 new abilities the ability to read memories by touching someone and the ability to see relationships. but that's for later. "now I'm going to call some people 1 by 1 and if you refuse you die. demetri please step forward."

Demetri is a member of the Volturi guard with the ability to track people through the tenors of their minds. Since no one has been able to conceal themselves from his sensing, he is a huge threat to those who wish to avoid the Volturi's attacks.

Chains bound the man and I gained his ability to track after I absorbed him. everyone just watched on in horror. 

"next up Felix please come on down." 

Felix is a high-ranking member of the Volturi guard, who relies on strength and combat techniques to serve Aro, Caius, and Marcus rather than supernatural talents. His physical capabilities are so powerful that he had maintained within the guard for thousands of years.

Same as the last I received a boost to my physical strength this time no ability.

"Heidi how about you come over here and let me shake your hand for a moment." the beautiful woman sadly walked over and I took her hand through the chains and no saw everything she had ever done and was disgusted.

Heidi is a member of the Volturi guard. She is the one who brings humans to them to satisfy their thirst with her ability to attract people. Her way of dressing has earned her the appellation of "fisher" and "bait".

Heidi's main responsibility in the Volturi is arranging elaborate ploys to bring human victims to Volterra. She might orchestrate a contest where the prize is an all-expenses-paid vacation to some random location, or a job position with an amazing salary. Most of the victims never hear the word Volterra, and don't even know they are being taken to Italy. She uses numerous jets and other vehicles and props in her efforts to attract. Once a victim has met Heidi, it is difficult for him or her to refuse any invitation from her.

I devoured her as well and gained a bit more allure towards people it also helped the kingdom upgrade loyalty by attraction to me.

next on my kill list is...."Santiago step on up." 

Santiago is a member of the guard with increased physical strength and speed that surpasses normal vampires I gained and boost to both as I absorbed him into my realm. up on our list of people is "Corin please step forward." the girl was practically shaking at this point. "I'm going to offer you something different you see I'm a king and I need people to help guard my kingdom and help me run it I would like you to work as one of my gaurds and help protect my wives and who know maybe someday you'll get to be one yourself." she was practically crying in relief and answered as fast as possible "yes my lord!" I wrapped my chains gently around her and pit her in one of the vibranium cells in my kingdom. 

Corin is a member of the Volturi guard, whose first appearance was in the vampire index in the back of Breaking Dawn. She has the power to make others feel content with their situation. Because of this power, she is frequently assigned to keep Sulpicia and Athenodora company the wives of Aro and the others, but she is also ordered by Aro to keep Chelsea from leaving the coven, since her power can make others feel physically uncomfortable when they are not exposed to it for a period of time like an addicting drug.

Next up Chelsea "Chelsea please step forward." she did slowly I smiled at her aswell. "would you also like to join my gaurds?" she smiled a beautiful smile and just accepted glad to not be absorbed and she was pulled into and kingdom cell aswell. 

"renalta please step forward." the next was a very tiny girl at around 5 foot tall
 Renata is a member of the Volturi guard; she is gifted with the supernatural talent to repel opponents, and is therefore Aro's personal bodyguard. "I need a personal bodyguard a kingsgaurd if you will, are you interested?" she was also eager to join. there only a few members left. 

"Sulpicia and Athenodora please step forward." the wives of Caius and Aro both moved forward "you see I've noticed that you two and the other 2 girls have been heavily affected by Corins power keeping you content to usually be locked in that nice tower of yours did you know that?" they both looked shocked and shook their heads "I welcome to both of you to join my kingdom there will be some changes and a lot more freedom and also Corin won't be using that power anymore against any of my guards only my enemies. I'll get everyone fixed up." they both nodded gratefully. 

now the last 2 Alec and jane.
"seeing as you two are the only ones left what do you think I should do? the ability to cause pain and the ability to kill all the senses and leaving one dead to the world."  "ill tell you what Alec I need a enforcer in my kingdom someone who keeps peace and justice proper justice I want killers death with same with rapists I don't even care if you eat them but I want it to be fair and just I'll be implementing and system at some point to help with laws are you willing?" "yes my lord" ah such and we'll behaved lad "now jane how about becoming my personal kingsgaurd with Chelsea?" "I'd be delighted" I tugged both of them into kingdom cells I'd deal with some things later. now it was the time to loot a legacy of over 3000 years I'll pull it up from the fucking ground I had all the elves help me looting billions in gold, paintings, money,jewelry, priceless art, everything was either made of marble or gold or silver there were golf ball sized diamonds and golden bricks there were armor sets and weapons from days long gone there were books in languages long forgotten to the pages of time  I had my shadows steal the Jets and vehicles used to kidnap people I had emptied out bank vaults with the identity I had stolen from the volturi I mean Carlisle alone was worth 34.1billion at 370 years old what can you guys imagine I got from 3000 years of multiple people working together it was the high hundreds of billions of gp. I sold everything but the books and the vehicles to the store I kept the planes. I had a few jets and a helicopter now. and soon it would be time for the next world.

Just to let everyone know this is my first story English is my native language I planned 0 chapters in this whole book and I literally started writing it because I simple wanted to read it myself. It contains parts from bringing the farm to another world, shadow hack, and supreme Anime system. leave any advice you want I read all comments and try to take them into account.

Alchemy did not belong to any of the three major arts, but it was still a popular choice for wizards.
Alchemy included many different fields. Alchemists in ancient times divided alchemy works into those that "improved one's own body" and the ones that "improved other objects". Today, there were only two simpler classifications: Apothecary and Tooling.
Apothecary, as the name suggested, majored in brewing potions. For example, the glass of Potion of Austere Night held by Angor was a product made by alchemists who mastered Apothecary. Here, "potion" did not only refer to drinkable liquid. There were also special branches, such as Leona's Perfume Brewing, which was also considered Apothecary.
Tooling mainly referred to crafting alchemy items. Dave's propeller flying machine, for example, was alchemy machinery created using the art of Tooling.
The principle of alchemy was "conversion". The core of making potions or tools both followed this principle. This was why both Tooling and Apothecary wizards were called alchemists.
But still, Apothecary and Tooling had different working processes and asked for different materials. That was why Dave asked Angor which path he would follow so that he could prepare the correct materials.
"They both required great talent. You earn similar benefit out of them. But technically speaking, I personally believe that Tooling is harder," said Dave when he saw Angor hesitating. He explained his own idea.
"I'm going for Tooling," Angor said.
"You sure? You know, you'll be able to earn money fast once you learned how to brew a potion. But Tooling… not so easy."
"I'm sure." Angor already made this decision before. The alchemy books he recorded in the Nightmare Realm contained both Tooling and Apothecary knowledge, but he did not plan to try making potions for now. The garden of purification was an urgent goal to him. Otherwise, he would not think about studying alchemy so early in the first place.
The world was always changing. The information about the garden of purification triggered Angor's motivation. To reach the top level of a Sky Tower and win a ticket to the garden, Angor had to find a particular approach. And he chose to try out alchemy.
"Okay then. It's your own decision. Don't regret it."
"I won't. If I can't learn Tooling, I'll just switch to Apothecary instead."
Dave chuckled. "We're on the same boat then. Maybe we can assist each other. Here are some books that describe the materials used in Tooling. Take a look. Tell me what you're interested in and I'll get them from the storage, at market price," said Dave. He took out several piles of books and dumped them in front of Angor.
Magic Material Encyclopedia, Illustration Collection: Neutralization & Smelting Materials, Catalyst Collection…
Dave presented all of these dictionary-sized books to Angor with the hope of discouraging him. Dave had been acting all friendly to Angor, but in his mind, Dave did not hold a positive idea about Angor's ambition. He would like to be Angor's friend. But when it came to alchemy, Dave would think otherwise. To him, the art of alchemy was more important than anything else.
In Dave's view, alchemy was not something that random stragglers should learn. When Angor made up his mind and showed off his wealth, Dave got a feeling that his beloved subject was being joked at.
It was a complicated mindset. Dave would not have felt as bad if Angor chose Apothecary. Yet Angor went for Tooling, the same subject Dave was studying, and such a decision tipped the scale in Dave's mind.
Dave did not say anything about the books. He only looked at Angor with a smile, waiting for his choice.
Angor noticed none of Dave's thoughts. He carefully selected several books and read through them quickly, then listed the materials he wanted in a short time.
"Mystic Fog Strings, 12 standard units. High Bronze, 7.8 grams. Hairy Orchid Gravel, 11 cups. Ice Glue 349 grams. Starfrost Gold…"
Dave saw Angor's careful choices and realized Angor already had a plan in his mind. None of the materials were tiered ones, but they all shared connections with each other. For example, Ice Glue and Starfrost Gold appeared to be two completely unrelated materials, but Dave once heard Master Prome speaking with another master alchemist that if you dissolved Ice Glue in the heat for five minutes and added some catalyst powder to it, it would become the best adhesive for Starfrost Gold. High Bronze was usually used in machine alchemy as an ideal material for forging junction parts such as gears, and Mystic Fog Strings were often used along with the gears as a flexible transmission belt.
Angor obviously went through some careful planning to come up with his choices. The other materials he chose contained heat-resistant ones, ductile materials, and energy amplifiers. Dave already saw the basic frame of an alchemy machine out of these.
The uncomfortable idea in Dave's mind had vanished. He was now confident that Angor did not regard alchemy as mere entertainment, and that was enough for him to highly regard Angor's decision.
Angor picked many different materials. He made these choices for a number of theories he already developed in his mind - theories for making an alchemy weapon.
"That will be 17 types. According to the amount you wrote down… 1,321 merit points. I'll remove the cents, just pay me thirteen hundred," said Dave as he glanced at Angor's material list and worked out the final price quickly.
Thirteen hundred, about 13 magic crystals. This was quite a fortune to apprentices. Angor only paid 500 points for his rent for a full year.
Still, he could afford the price for now. Besides, he just earned a thousand points out of Leona's favor.
Angor took out his bone card and paid the money.
Dave felt so jealous again at Angor's wealth display.
The two crystal balls on the table began to shine. Dave glimpsed at the objects. "The information you asked for is sent. I'll go get the materials. Do you want to carry them yourself or have them delivered?"
"Delivered, of course. I don't have a space storage to hold them."
"Alright then. Ten merit points."
 …
After leaving Prome's Alchemy Shop, Angor went to the Sky Tower again. Nausica's match was already over. She was resting in the lounge room. As they expected, Nausica defeated Monarch of Eternal Freeze easily without using her weapon at all. Several punches and kicks were more than enough.
Nausica did not plan to stop here. She wished to keep fighting, taking the chance that there were only weaker opponents in the tower.
Angor wished her good luck and headed back to his house in apprentice town.
Upon reaching the villa, Toby immediately returned to the attic to practice a new chapter with its Echo Flower music band. Meanwhile, Angor sat in the garden and listened to Toby's terrible "concert" as he waited for Dave's delivery. 
Time always flew by fast when in a relaxed mood. Half an hour later, Dave reached Angor's front door while commanding two pairs or four bulky-looking guys who carried several sealed wooden boxes. The four of them were all mortal residents in town.
Angor asked them to place the boxes in his basement. After confirming that the materials were correct, he sent them on their way.
"Four mortal laborers, ten merit points from me. You're smart, you know that?" Angor spoke behind Dave with a dark expression.
Dave blinked in an innocent manner. "Well, you don't have any space storage, and neither do I. Those things are for wizards, we shouldn't think about them. And of course, I have to ask mortals to carry stuff. Is there another choice?"
Angor waved him away impatiently. "We both know how much you earned out of it. Now off you go."
When Dave was gone, Angor took some time to sort out the materials in the basement. When he was finished, the moon was already high in the sky, casting a silver aura over the Tree of Eternity.
Angor dragged his tired body to his bed and fell on it. He did so many things today. Everything ended well. With his already tensed up spirit, he only managed to cover half of his body under the blanket before falling straight asleep.
In the next morning, Angor washed himself up and went into the soundproof room.
The residual condition of magic backfiring on him still troubled him, so he had to give up on meditation and spell training for now. But he could still carry out his study plan. Angor planned to start learning alchemy today.
Previously, Angor regarded alchemy as something similar to the subject of chemistry because chemistry also involved conversion between elements. But after reading some books from Sunders' collection as well as those from the Nightmare Realm, Angor realized that the two subjects only appeared to be related, but they were actually two completely different concepts.
The conversion process in alchemy was facilitated using a "mystic" energy. This energy participated in every alchemy conversion. Even alchemy machines needed this energy as their main power source.
Besides, studying alchemy also required knowledge about Runecraft. Runes could be used to trigger the mystic energy hidden within supernatural materials. It could also be used to build perfect material combinations. Also, there were particular alchemy approaches that used runes as the core materials while ordinary materials acted as a supplement.
Angor felt a headache after reading the alchemy theories. He thought several alchemy spells were enough, but now he found that he had to study Runecraft too. This was also an extremely complicated subject. Anyone who learned it well could earn big money by selling magic scrolls.
Angor sighed in frustration. In order to make alchemy weapons in a short time, he had to start by learning something from the scientific technologies on Earth. Alchemy machines sounded pretty similar to science, but they were still essentially supernatural products who had completely different fundamentals than actual science.
Angor's current plan was to apply wizardry alchemy methods to a blueprint of a weapon from Earth. He wanted to see if he could make something that would be effective against apprentices.

Her long hair was flying lightly in the air and she was smiling. The fireflies were flying there. After some moment she went inside and he came back home.He often went to her address. Sometimes see her and sometime came back without seeing her.she has changed a lot in these years.Time passed like that until he saw Anna in his collage after one year.She was attended the admission test.
The result was to be published when roman saw that Anna's name was not there only because she was not from a royal family.Roman went to the principal and asked him to put his name in her file's granter.Roman's grandfather was one of the successor of the great victoriya so the principal did not dare to put his word aside.Until  now he was the one who fall onesided but now she is going to.  He want to ask her,tell her about last 4 years of his waiting.

"Ok.Wait for me at school gate after school " saying that Roman went to the classes. 

After school they went to a cafe near to the school. 

"Anna you looks very happy.You are going then? "

"A--h yes.I am. Thank you.I  know it was who you helped me to get this."

Roman narrowed his eyes but put a smile and refused her.

"It was not me.You are over thinking. What will you take? A coffee or....?

" No thank you . I have to go.I'm greatfull for your time"Anna went out of the cafe  while pick the roadside path and walk alone. 

"He refused me for nothing. It was him who arranged everything . Why he need to lied to me.Its strange. I will go to China after the final examination. I don't know when I could came back.His eyes were deep, deep like mysterious ocean . I have never noticed him so closely. His long messy hair shine brightly in sunlight. His thin lips hide words behind his smile. He want to tell me something but he resist himself.Why??Everything is mysterious! Why he is so handsome? Why am I thinking about him?"

She came back with so many questions in her head.But it was time to celebrations. Uve came to her home and her mother is preparing for the dinner. Some of her relatives will come for dinner as well as congrats Anna.It was a great dinner. Anna's parents were proud and happy.After dinner she was studying in her room. It was past 11 when she got a massage. 
She was afraid because it was Roman!

"*Come to your backyard in 5 minute. "*Roman

" Oh no I am dreaming. It's a nightmare. Lets pinch ----ehhh!it's hurt....he is here . Why is he here?What should I do now?Is he angry  for not having a coffee?  would he be mad at me??Ohh goooodddd help plz!!!"

She was stareing at the roses  that he forwarded.Three roses of three different colours.In the roadside sodium lights they were more starnge. She felt something had dropped on her cheeks that was nothing but a drop of tear.She stood up and took the roses.A sad smile appeared  on her face when he took her hand in his saying .''i won't let your hand go ever..you will find me in every drop of rains whenever  you touch them.'and she pull him into a light hug which was tighten with a feathery kiss on her forehead.

Kellard Grimes, the chief of Black Matter's investigative division at Black Rose city, heard Alex's report as well as repeating suspicions about a possible stray artifact in the hands of the nobility.

Kellard sighed. "Alex, you've done an extraordinary job. I never expected you to identify a sacrifice ritual."

"If I had access to Black Matter's supernatural case files beyond the common artifacts, they would tremendously help me in future cases. This time I could only make a lucky inference due to obliquely coming across something similar in some texts I was researching." Alex made his case for more access.

The chief nodded. "I've already forwarded your request as well as added my own comments on the matter. Though, I suspect the headquarters might once again suggest you become an awakened and join the Black Matter Core group. Your deductive abilities have proven to be indispensable in our recent investigations."

"Sir, as I've mentioned before, I do not wish to go through that process. My observations regarding the history of those awakening under Black Matter tells me that I will end up regretting it." Alex threw out his standard and mostly valid response to why he had constantly rejected the awakening process of the organization. At the same time, he could not possibly reveal that he had already become an Extraordinary as an 'Observer'.

He could already rapidly analyze the chief's behavioral patterns to realize that the chief was sympathetic to his reasoning.

"You are indeed astute as usual, Alex. Most of our recruits only focus on the part about becoming a superhuman, however, they ignore that by taking this step, they expose themselves to a danger they can't possibly have imagined existed." Kellard sighed, displaying a tired look. 

Alex did not reciprocate with any emotion, much less the sympathy that the chief seemed to have urged him to display for the plight of the awakened. 

Ellard saw Alex with a black and distant look and shook his head. Tapping his fingers on the desk, he tried to broach a subject with some reluctance on his part.

Alex could see his hesitancy and clearly determined that Kellard was weighing his choices, considering whether revealing this matter to him would be a beneficial thing for Kellard himself.

Finaly Kellard opened his mouth. "You can ignore the detail about the nobility having a stray artifact. The Nobility have their own organization for awakened individuals, who deal with these situations. Black Matter is only a ground level investigative and procuring agency, that tries to look for stray artifacts among individuals who are not part of any recognized organizations."

Alex raised an eye. "So there are other organizations other than Black Matter that deal with awakened and artifacts as well?"

Kellard nodded. "Yes, that is correct. The three Churches, the nobility and of course Black Matter are a few among those. There are also organizations that are not registered, some of which are evil organizations. You've been intricately involved with one before."

Alex understood what Kellard was trying to suggest. "The Sonata Troopers?" 

Kellard tapped his fingers on his desk. "Yes. Recently, their activities seem to be on the rise, and as the primary discoverer of the Disaster grade artifact "The Moonlight Sonata", you might be on their list."

Alex sighed. "I'm just an ordinary person. How could I even deal with a cult of awakened individuals who are mental slaves to a sentient Piano? I'm guessing you finally acceded to my request to more access to notes is because of this?"

Kellard smiled. "Yes. You have become too integral to our investigations and a threat to you would put into peril one of our best investigators. More over, having more knowledge about the mystical, will allow us to use you in cases, we previously couldn't because of your clearance level.

I have requested for a tutor for you, to teach you the basics of mysticism and rituals. Thanks to those pair of glasses, you can channel its power to conduct at least a few basic rituals that could save you in urgent situations."

"Mysticism rituals? Alright." Alex nodded, though he carefully hid his excitement internally. The Sonata Troopers might really have come in clutch for him this time.

When Alex returned home, it was very late in the evening. He joined his family for dinner, but something made him frown.

"Son, how was your day at work?" Alex's dad asked him suddenly.

Alex raised an eye. "Nothing special. Why dad?"

Alex's dad coughed as he looked at him with a curious eye. "I heard from my coworker that you had gone to the Mansion of a noble."

When Melissa heard that, she put down her fork and knife and looked at Alex with a questioning look, as if to say that his secrets were about to be finally revealed.

Alex shrugged as he nodded. "Yeah. The brother of the chief is a researcher of historical books and wanted me to look into some details. My chief overly praised by research skills, and so I had to go consult."

"Oh really..." Melissa mocked. She always had the feeling that Alex was definitely hiding a lot of secrets. This brother of his was just too mysterious and evasive about any question.

"Melon, stop provoking your brother." Alex's mom scolded. She turned towards Alex with surprise. "Son you are growing up. Networking is very important, I didn't realize your choice of career was very deeply thought out."

Alex had black lines on his face at his mom's comment. The only reason he joined black matter was to find a way to resolve this corruption that had been plaguing him since school and threatened to turn him mad.

He ignored the talk and continued eating his dinner. However, the table turned silent.

Melissa looked at Alex. "Bro, is something bothering you?"

Alex thought that a lot of things were indeed bothering him, like the potential threat of the Sonata Troopers on his family, but he couldn't say that to his family. These kind of events were sort of routine for him after all, and he didn't have much of an issue hiding that from his family. So he was kind of confused about his sister's question.

"What do you mean?" Alex asked.

Alex's mom chimed in. "You seem to be distant and cold in your attitude. Is something bothering you?"

Alex was surprised. Distant and cold? Then he thought about the coolness he felt since the burning feeling from becoming an 'Observer'. The coolness seemed to have increased his observational and deductive abilities, and today he even enhanced some of Observer's visual capabilities to see spirits. Is my attitude being colder, the more I digest the powers of 'Observer'? Could this be the side effect of power, that was written in the books he read earlier?

Alex tried to emote more than he normaly wood. It almost reached the point to which he was acting.

"I'm sorry about that mom. I was practicing being cold to face a noble, I guess I went too method, haha." Alex laughed.

Alex's dad didn't say much but his face told a different story. However, he changed the topic. "There are too many rumors flying among us bureaucrats about some violent cults rising up. The government is planning to make big motions to clamp down on these activities, and the three churches are actually joining hands in this matter.

The Church of Light, The Church of Earth and the Church of Knowledge were the three recognized religions in the Kingdom of Roses as well as the ones most followed. The churches had a tenuous relationship with each other, but now they seem to have come together.

"Cults..." Alex murmured. He looked at his family, wondering how he should warn them. After some time he spoke. "Ignore the solicitation of any musicians who seem to behave in an unusual manner." 

"...Musicians?" Alex's mom asked in confusion.

Melissa looked at Alex with a weird look. "For the past week, the two students from the music group have been trying to convince me to join."

Alex immediately turned serious. He activated Observer's new spirit vision and could see the auras on Melissa's body and noticed that most of it seemed normal, however a wisp of black aura was circling her, trying to find a way in. He looked at his parents and found them to be normal.

"I'll drop you to your school tomorrow." Alex said with seriousness.

"Do you think I'm a kid? I'm in high school!" Melissa stomped her feet in anger.

Alex laughed and ruffled her hair. "To me you'll always be a kid."

Alex's dad looked at Alex. "Why musicians?"

Alex sighed. "It was an internal warning at the police department. Don't tell anyone else about it. Just avoid musicians who have clearly unusual behavioral traits for the foreseeable future."

"What behavioral traits... we aren't in the police investigation department like you. Speak human language." Melon sarcastically commented.

"If they act weird, don't associate with them. Is that simple enough for you?" Alex retorted.

Late at night, Alex walked out to the terrace. At dinner, he had clearly deduced from his dad's body language that he wanted to talk in private about something, but was hesitating. At the terrace, his dad was smoking a cigarette, looking at the bright moon. 

Alex's dad heard footsteps behind him and turned to see Alex walking towards him, much to his surprise. 

"When will you kick the habit, dad." Alex perfunctorily spoke out. "You know that no one at home likes you smoking."

Alex's dad took a puff of smoke. "Old habits die hard. How come you came out tonight?"

"I saw you hesitating to talk at the table. Seemed like you wanted to talk in private." Alex said calmly.

"..." Alex's dad was left speechless for a while. Eventually he opened began speaking. "In the bureaucracy, even if things are classified, we hear rumors. For a long time rumors about a terrifying consultant investigator in a secretive department of the government were flying around. Today, rumors of a major clash among two noble families spread. Apparently the cause was the investigations by the detective in question. Imagine my surprise when I find out the detective's name is Alex Bell."

Alex nodded but didn't speak. Seeing his son nod, Alex's dad asked him. "Are you really a historical researcher?" 

Alex smiled and nodded. "That is one of my jobs, yes."

Alex's dad sighed. "Are you involved in matters regarding supernatural events?"

Alex didn't reply for some time, before finally commenting. "No matter how secretive an organization is, I suppose the bureaucracy might eventually find out."

Seeing that Alex did not deny it, a trace of fear passed through his dad's mind. "So the supernatural really exists?"

Alex sighed. "Its a complex world. The less you know the safer you are. But yes, supernatural events do exist, and I am a consultant for a department that investigates and extinguishes such rogue supernatural events."

"Is it dangerous?"

"It can be, but I've got powerful people protecting me. I'm simply an investigator." Alex replied. 

Alex's dad nodded. "Be careful."

Alex smiled. "I always try to be."

It's been three weeks since I bought my new house and Grace has been coming over fairly often to help me with the crops in the space.

It took a while but with Grace's help we increased the size of our gardens in the space and we can know grow 20 pounds of watermelon and 15 pounds of carrots even seven days and while we increased the turnips output to 30 pounds every 5 days unfortunately the only super crop that we got is another turnip. Not going to lie it was pretty hard work mostly because I had to do all the planting myself, I'm really hoping that I can find a gardener for the space or better yet upgrade the Space and hope that I will become semi-automatic like Zhao Hai's Space. 

We discovered after some trial and error that if you water the crops at least once a day it increases the chance of growing superior crops.

Why might you ask have we not bought anything from the Shop yet well that's because we have absolutely zero system points which mean there was nothing we can buy from the store even if we want to. It took a while but we found a way to earn points by selling crops to the Shop. I have to say at this point I'm starting to think the Space is my best ability as it has given the most befits so far and it's at its still at lowest level. It's like the Space ability was tailor made to go along with the Shop. 
Before long, it starts to get late so I see Grace off for the day. When she leaves, I go back into the space and sell off all of the superior crops and most regular crops minus what I use when cooking. After selling all the crops I look at how many system points we managed to get these past weeks and see we managed to get a grand total of 3657 system points. As it turns out superior crops sell for a lot of more than regular crops. Opening up the Shop I look through the categories.

While each martial art has its own skill, I decided that it would be better to buy the all in one version of the skill instead of buying each martial art separately.

Looking over the Status Menu I'm happy to find out that its final looks like my stats are starting to build. Looks like the field work in the space has increased most of my physical stats while I'm guessing reading books in the school library and the puzzle app on my phone has increased my mental stats. With the new Martial Arts skill as long as I work hard my physical stats should increase drastically. 

Testing out my new skill I recall some of the stances I read in the library about Krav Maga. Krav Maga is a military self-defense and fighting style focusing on offense that's basic principles are to hit hard and hit fast, target vulnerable areas of the body, use any objects at hand to your advantage, and maintain awareness of the surroundings even when victory is at hand.

When I was looking into different fighting styles Krav Maga stood out the most for offensive fighting styles while Tai Chi stuck out in the defensive fighting style category for its ability to use the opponent's own strength against them.

My plan is to learn both of these two martial arts and try to combine them. To be honest I kind of thinking that I should level up the Library ability rather than the Space ability first. Just on the off chance that I unlock the compile or flaw detection ability that Zhang Xuan library has.
After two hours of intense training pass, I get notification. Pausing my training session, I stop to read the notification.

Before long I finish reading the notification, I decided to check up on the gardens before leaving the pace.

 When I leave Space, I make my way to the shower because to be honest I feel gross I think I need to invest in a cleaning skill or lifestyle magic if I ever get any MP.

Once I'm out of the shower and changed I make myself something to eat while I look through the Shop and start to make a shopping list for when I have enough system points. By the time I finish eating I already have a list of things from the Shop that I think are essential. The first item is a Pack of Skill Transfer Cards.

The second thing on my shopping list is the ability Void End which the protagonist Han Lang used in the Galactic Dark Net series that allowed him to cancel all powers within a certain range of himself. Because Han Lang ability canceled out everyone's powers, he had to tempered his physical body to its peak so that instead of a battle of powers that were common in this universe it turned into a battle of strength, durability, and skill instead.

After going through the shop these three items and abilities are the ones that seem to have the most value to my current self. 

While I can't be completely sure I'm almost one hundred percent positive that the supernatural is real. The longer I thought about it the more it made sense if my mom could get such amazing items even if others don't have a system like I do I'm sure that they could have items at the legendary rank.

What happens when you obtain a book that grants you a system and allows you to travel through different worlds?

He then showed me out where I met with a guard that led me away from the Palace walking all the way back to near the wall of the city. When the guard stopped, he gestured at a large rectangular building which seemed to be made out of the same green stone as the wall. 

In the middle of the building was a tower that soared up out of the building higher than the city walls. Seeing that I was finished admiring the premise that I apparently now owned, the guard said, 

"This building was first built by a sect that had taken residence in this city and typically ownership of it is passed down to the strongest sect in this area. But up until now, no sect has stayed around long enough to truly claim it as their own. Maybe yours will be different."

Now understanding why I had been given this particular building, I had to wonder why so many sects had failed to take root here unlike in the rest of the mainland. Not too worried about it, either way, I decided to check out the inside of the building. 

When I went inside the first room was what looked like an upper-class restaurant with a large bar along the back wall. On either side were doors which lead to sets of identical quest rooms where it was apparently planned for most of the sect to live.  

Behind the bar was another door which led to a room with carpet so thick it felt like a mattress and a table surrounded by four expensive couches placed in the corner. What dominated the room was a huge pillar and on its sides was painted a beautiful natural mountainous landscape. It was so realistic it was almost as if you could hear the sounds of nature in the room.

 At the base of the mountain in the center was an ornate door gilded with an intricate pattern of gold with no visible handle to open the door. Looking at the guard, he seemingly understood my unvoiced question, 

"If you place your palm on the door and you are recognized as its master, it should open for you. As for what makes you be recognized as its master, I'm not sure anyone really knows. It's one of the many mysteries surrounding this tower."

Shaking my head that the building I now owned might lock me out in over half of the area for some unknown reason, I crossed my fingers and laid my palm on the door. As soon as I did, the gold on the door started seemingly through some kind of supernatural occurrence visibly disappeared until we were left with just a plain wooden door that opened with a light touch. 

Revealing a narrow set of circular stairs, lucky for me it seemed I had at least found my way to the first floor of the tower. Climbing the steps, we quickly ran into two shut doors. One blocked off the way up further in the tower and the other most likely opened up to the first floor of the tower. 

Taking the door that I assumed lead to the first floor of the tower, I opened the door revealing bookcase after bookcase filled with leather bound books. Arranged by all the bookcases were leather chairs and lamps that burned with unearthly blue light with some method I had never encountered. 

All the blue light created a calming atmosphere that filled the room making me relax without my actual awareness. Further inspection of the room revealed an office that had a desk surrounded by scrolls, some blank and others filled with writing. In the back of the office was another door that led to a small bedroom with a locked chest and an extremely basic bed. 

My curiosity getting the best of me, I attempted to break the lock on the chest but no matter how much strength I used the bolt didn't even budge. Defeated, I turned to the guard dismissing him so I could check out what kinds of books were being kept in the library. I opened one book to see what was written. I opened it and read the title, "Manual of Arms for Sword Part 1, The Basics". 

Excited because if I could find one there on spears it would help immensely since I had no idea on even the basics of how to use a spear, I had only been getting by due to my physical abilities being able to overcome my enemies' technique.

 I quickly skimmed all the other books finding the ones that could be useful to me right now. There were three books on spears, three on general fighting and three on movement in combat. The final book was very different to all the others and was called, "An Introduction to the Tower." 

Scanning it made it evident that the tower it was referring to was the one I was currently in. Reading through it quickly, I interpreted as much as I could in a short time because it was written in an extremely flowery manner as if it was purposely written to be hard to understand. 

What I managed to decipher out of the confusing prose was a couple of things. First was a list of floors and their names although in many cases the name of the level did not help at all in identifying what might be on that particular floor. 

The names of the levels went as follows; the first was called the martial, second was the elemental, the third was the equipment, the fourth was the rune, the fifth was the lab, and the sixth was the master floor. Also, within the book was a brief overview of what was supposedly on this floor.

 The only problem was that no matter how hard I searched I could find no other rooms on this floor even though more rooms were clearly described in the books. The one other thing I could understand from the book was that somehow the doors measured your core strength and would only open to you once you reached a certain level of strength. 

The confusing part was it also seemed to somehow factor in talent, but it wasn't entirely clear how it worked. But one thing was sure, the stronger I got, the more likely it was for the doors to open for me. Since I was now considered the master of the tower, the doors would only open for me.
Setting aside the book for more studying later, I decided to start researching all three of the basics books. 

I quickly realized how many things I had been doing wrong and small corrections to things I had been doing right. As I slowly read and practiced the concepts in the books, time flew by until I suddenly remembered that I was supposed to be meeting the Prince in the morning. 

I stored the books in my ring before I quickly rushed downstairs having no idea what time it was since I had been isolated in my tower. Reaching downstairs, I saw light streaming through the windows of the first floor. I also noticed a guard standing by the entrance undoubtedly sent by the Prince to come to get me. Upon seeing my presence, the guard straightened up and bowed saying, 

"The Prince has ordered me to show you the way to the Runemaster as he is currently engaged and can't spare the time to show you himself. He also told me to give this to give to the Runemaster."


After saying this, the guard pulled out a letter and handed it to me before marching away expecting me to follow him. As we walked, we continued to go deeper into the worse parts of the city becoming surrounded by rundown houses barely fit for human habitation with garbage and filth washing over the road and covering every inch of it.

 Finally, the guard stopped next to a small hut that was at least still standing and appearing quite a bit more useful than the buildings surrounding it. Looking at the guard questioningly, he nodded and gestured towards the hut. 

Wondering if this was all some practical joke, I entered the hut shaking my head. I entered the hut although and my doubts about this being some kind of joke disappeared because as soon as I crossed the threshold instead of seeing a dingy hut like I expected, there was a large room filled with multiple tables on top of which were stacks of paper with a rune drawn on each of them. As soon as I entered, a young girl ran out and said,

 "Welcome, please wait here while the master finishes what he is working on. He should be with you shortly."
She then turned to leave, but before she could, I grabbed her shoulder pulling out the letter I was given saying,

 "Please give this to your master. The Prince gave it to me to deliver to your master."

A boy adventures through a mysterious land as he attempts to find out just where he came from. He develops his powers to fight off stronger and stronger enemies along the way as learns of the harshness of the cultivator world.
