I am really, really sorry, my dear readers. Even though I have just started this novel along with a few other ones, I will be unable to update for a few months. My entrance exams will be coming up soon and I want to concentrate on them. 

Here is a list of the novels that will not be updated until May 2019.

The darkness is soothing. I really want to sleep. Why do I have to write this synopsis?
Should I obliterate it all?
Nah. I'll just sit here. They'll die on their own.

Don't mind me. I'm just an adorable little baby right now. Move on.

Wait! Read this first. Or we could play a game too! It's called 'Read or die!'

"Aish, why don't they have good books?" Sohyun complained as she rummage through the shelves in Fiction Section. "These books are trashy!"
"You're just being choosy," I said as I read Detective MJ on The Case. Again.
"You only read teen romance fiction," Chae Moon said, rolling her eyes. "That sucks. Fantasy Fiction's the best."
I saw Daniel trying to talk to Sohyun, but she always walk away. It's unusual.
So I go near Merwin and whispered,
"Do you think something happened between
Daniel and Sohyun? She's like, avoiding him." 
"I notice that to," Merwin said. "But you didn't notice this." He showed the book he's reading.
Sherlock Holmes.
"Sherlock Holmes? You've got to be kidding me!" I tried to snatch it from him, but the next thing I knew is our position is too intimitate, too awkward, because we were lying on the floor, facing each other, me over him. Our faces are only centimeters away from each other. He's so handsome up close. I gulped.
"Okay. That should do it," Sohyun said, then Merwin and I got up quickly. I gave Sohyun a 'way to win the moment' look.
"What? I found a book!" Sohyun exclaimed, showing a Jenny Han book.
I looked away and to Merwin. He's reading Sherlock Holmes again. I leaned closer so I can read too. He smelled good.
"Christal," Merwin called me, then my ears perk up. "You can read another Sherlock Holmes. There's another copy."
"Okay," I said, finding another Sherlock Holmes book. When I found it, I sat behind Merwin back-to-back, as usual. My cheeks are still burning as I remember what happened a moment ago. That was the romantic thing that ever happened to me.

I was walking to the gate when I saw Daniel trying to talk to Sohyun. I hid behind the wall then a pair of hands covered my hands.
"Who the hell is this?" I asked as I try to move. I nudged him at the side and he yelped.
"That hurt! Christal, heal me," he said.
"Merwin, why are you sneaking at me like that?" I asked.
"You should've seen your reactions!" Merwin laugh until his stomach hurts.
"Haha," I fake laughed. "Do you think there's something wrong between Daniel and Sohyun?"
He shrugged. "I don't know. They seemed fine yesterday, but that thing earlier..." Oh no, he's gonna say it!
"They're avoiding each other," he said.
Good thing he didn't bring the thing that happened to us earlier.
"You want a ride going home?" He asked, but I wasn't expecting him to. "It's okay if you don't. You're probably waiting for Sohyun, or go with the others."
"No, it's okay. I'm going," I answered.
"They might take a long time talking."
"Let's go," he said, then we walked to the parking lot. We climbed in his car. 
I've never rode on the passenger seat, because I always sit at the back. It was always like that, until Merwin came.
While he was driving, he suddenly spoke up, "So, about the thing at the library..."
 I gulped. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to, you know, do that. It was like, my reflex."
"No prob," he said.
As he stopped at our driveway, I climbed out of his car. I almost forgot.
"Thanks, Merwin." I said.
"Welcome," then he drove away, and I was there at the porch, smiling at myself.

and gosh, they were so handsome and they're hearthrobs, the smartest, and the most talented of all hearthrobs. And they are....
(drumroll) TNT! (The.N.Teen)

Zero was excited. The pieces were finally all gathered. All he had to do was assemble them. Understanding the relationship between different types of energy and the true purpose of chaos energy made Zero more confident. If his hypothesis was correct, Solo would be able to manipulate chaos energy. After all, he was trapped by chaos energy for a long time, most likely a deliberate set up by his past self.
Firstly, he had to find a way to create a defence against chaos energy. Zero didn't tell Merlin what he was doing and snuck out to Titan's Cliff alone using the portal from the lamp. After learning how to modify portals, Zero found that this ability was extremely handy. Mii and Wii seemed to have levelled up too from all the new knowledge.
Wii was able to hold a few hundred Parallel minds and had the ability to make judgements better. This made Mii's job a lot simpler. The sisters found a way to create copies of Merlin's translation gadget and everyone worked more efficiently. Wii also worked as his mindscape's librarian and organised whatever she could.
Mii's appraisal skill had increased significantly. Maps were now updated according to the books read and the number of things Mii could do and control was very handy for Zero who often needed someone to give him a second opinion. The strawcherry fairy still remained very logical in her deductions and wasn't quick to pass judgement, unlike Zero. She was his devil's advocate and pushed Zero to become a better version of himself.
If there was one thing Zero loved about his assistants' growth, it would be the ability to conveniently drop by to different places using modified portals. Even if a portal didn't exist where he was, Zero could easily borrow the one in his lamp.
The only thing worrying him now is Lily. Her progress would be dependent on his abilities to complete the quests of all Divine Entities. Murvin, Isaben and Law have agreed to help Zero unlock the ability to customise the Mind's Eye system after he completes their requests. It was something that Zero was looking forward to.
Right now, the young doctor was planning. Zero was the kind who preferred to roll with the punches but due to the complexity of his assignment, the teen decided to take a step back this time. There were many preparations that had to be done before he could finish his special magic. Now that he understood the concept and how recreation magic worked, Zero needed to create his grimoire.
Herein lies the next hurdle. After finding out that chaos energy could hurt him, Zero needed a grimoire that can act as both a weapon and a shield. It had to guard him against chaos energy while absorbing all kinds of attacks that could be thrown at him. His grimoire had to be able to manipulate creation and Zero had to cram everything he knew about creation and their basic forms with rune writing. After that, Zero had to imbue it with his magic and tie it to something to prove his resolve for power.
Zero sighed. Normal magicians over their souls or hearts but neither of these things belonged to Zero. The teen agonised over what he could sacrifice in great value that could prove his resolve. Merlin mentioned that he had vowed his entire existence in exchange for his powers. Could Zero do that as well? However, his existence was a questionable thing. If he was gone, would the world collapse? After all, it was made by his past self.
The paper was full of scribbles and doodles on the side as Zero thought. As of now, his list of priorities looked a little like like this:

1. Get Gaia's permission to visit Garden Eden
2. Revive the Tree of Knowledge
3. Plant the Tree of Life
4. Make the Grimoire
5. Use Grimoire to seal Titan Cliff
Although there were only five things on the list, the preparations required and uncertainty of success for each thing on that list frightened Zero. Unlike Hua Tuo, Merlin's style of teaching more counselling when in doubt and encouraged self-learning. The wizard hardly did anything more than introduce and recommend reading materials to Zero when he had questions. The only time they actually interacted were mealtimes and even that was rare with both of them being so busy. Merlin also felt more like a child despite being an old man. Zero sometimes found himself behaving more mature and the drastic change from how Zero was like with Hua Tuo made the teen feel slightly insecure. Many times, Zero didn't know what he was doing wrong or right.
"I know! I'll find Buddha..." Zero decided and sent the Enlightened One a text.
Sitting on a lotus pad in the Lake of Enlightenment, Buddha felt his communicator vibrate. Reaching into the bead-like hair on his head, the Sage God pulled out his communicator and checked the text. It didn't surprise him to receive a text from Zero. He had been expecting it for some time now.
[Hey Buddha! Is it alright for me to drop by Nirvana for tea?]
Buddha smiled at the light tone Zero used to text him. The teen certainly was getting better at masking his feelings. However, the Sage God knew better than to think that the young doctor was bored and simply wanted company. His lack of emoticons in the text message indicated his pensive mood and probably troubled thoughts. Buddha didn't need to read the future to know what this is about. He heard the news from Steve about the conclusion of the experiment with chaos magic. The Great Gods have also gotten involved with the situation, keeping a close eye on Titan Cliff.
Merlin was a great magician but he wasn't known to be a very good teacher. Freya's complaints about how the wizard tried to teach Truen were evidence about the magician's attitude. If anything, Buddha was relieved that Zero had become more mature before he started learning from the wizard.
[Sure. I'll meet you at the Hall of Attachments. It's Jasmine Tea today.]
After sending the text, the Sage God got up and prepared himself for the teen's arrival.
Zero stumbled out of the portal and waited patiently for Buddha to meet him. Some of the monks who were expecting Zero already served the Jasmine tea as agreed. Zero's mind was in turmoil over his uncertainties. He didn't want to alarm Merlin with his recklessness but it had to be done. Knowing Merlin, the magician will not permit him anywhere near Titan Cliff before the recreation magic was created. However, without observing the powers of chaos energy up close, how could Zero design his grimoire?
"Hello, Zero. I hope you've been well since the last time we met."
The young doctor beamed and waited for Buddha to settle down before explaining his current predicament.
After the Wise One understood Zero's situation, he felt a pang of pity for him. Merlin was certainly not the easiest person to get along with. For Zero to not have any confidence in his teacher to tell him about the problems he had, Buddha thought that Merlin must be really sad if he learnt about Zero's opinions. Still, the Enlightened One had no way of disagreeing with Zero. Merlin's judgements were not always very sound. The magician was a very volatile emotional person.
"Titan Cliff is a dangerous place. Not even I can visit it. You have to gain Hades' approval to go there."
Zero sighed. "Do you think Hades will agree to let me visit it?"
Buddha smiled. "It is worth a try. I will be escorting you if Hades permits you to go. Someone has to be the anchor in case the chaos energy sweeps you away. Also, if you want to go to Garden Eden, you need to seek Gaia's permission. I'm not sure if the Tree of Knowledge can be so easily revived but I'm also not a gardening expert. As for planting the Tree of Life, I know that it requires a place that is rich in mana source. Endow Hill is rich in mana because of the Eternal Dragon guarding Sleepy Cave. I don't think the withering Garden Eden is a good place to grow the Tree of Life."
The young doctor cancelled something from his notes and thought about it. "How about the Spring of Vitality? The mana lotuses are growing very well. I'm sure the Tree of Life would be able to grow there as well."
Buddha laughed. "It is a good location but you will have to do a lot of convincing and drawing boundaries. Once the Tree of Life exists at the Spring of Vitality that doesn't belong to anyone, there will be a lot of disputes."
Zero pouted. He should have known things weren't going to be as simple but he couldn't think of a second location better for the planting of this special tree. Besides, if the Tree of Life didn't die, Lovina's curse can be easily broken. Merlin promised to help him search for a way to remove Lovina's phoenix curse.
"I understand. Can we arrange a time to see Hades? I have some miscellaneous matters to attend to before I start the second part of my special assignment."
Buddha agreed and they picked a date to visit the God of Death who was still roaming around.
Hades received a text message from Zero and Buddha while he was sitting on a boat cruising along river Styx. The God of Death blinked twice and told the undertaker to turn the boat around. the visit to the Purgatory could wait. If Zero was already making his move in Heaven, Hades thought that it might be better if he stationed there. The teen made a splendid mess of Hell before and if left to his own devices with Merlin's encouragement, who knew how different the landscape of Heaven will become after he returned?

Zhang Zian was busy the whole day and now it was almost time for him to go to bed. 
Zhang Zian had been exhausted throughout the day, but now that he knew the elves' lives could be extended, his tiredness vanished completely. However, he hadn't told the news to Old Time Tea or the other elves yet. As Pi had said, it wasn't the right time. If he hastily told the news to everyone, they would be too expectful. The reality might be too disappointing. For that reason, they might as well not know about it in the first place. 
Even if the lifetime of the elves really could be extended infinitely, the elves had to go through an extremely difficult process to do so. Judging from Pi's stern expression as it read the untitled book, Zhang Zian figured that this may be his biggest challenge and trial since he downloaded the Pet Hunter game.
Although he couldn't understand the untitled book, whether it was the Hyperwebster Dictionary, The Book of Sand, or a fantasy book from another civilization in the universe, he was still very grateful for it. Without it, he wouldn't have found out about such reassuring and hopeful news.
The elves had fallen asleep, one after the other. Before going to sleep, Richard had been very active that night, as if everything put him in a good mood. Zhang Zian had to hang it upside down to calm it down. 
When everyone was in bed, Pi was still sitting in front of the computer, typing away.
"Pi, did the noise bother you?" Zhang Zian came over and asked. He knew how annoying Richard and Snowy Lionet were.
Pi shook its head no.
"Well, we're all going to bed now. Please go to sleep as soon as you finish writing." Zhang Zian brought over a small desk lamp. The lamp light was turned away from the bedroom, so it wouldn't affect anyone's sleeping.
He didn't plan on telling Pi what he was doing later, because he wasn't sure whether he would be successful or not. He didn't want Pi to be disappointed after giving it so much hope. 
Pi grinned and nodded.
Zhang Zian glanced at the elves again. After confirming that each elfin was in its correct place, he turned off the ceiling light. 
With the light from the desk lamp and his own nightlight, he laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling, listening to Pi type. He thought about the elves' lives for a while, and then thought about the situation of Uncle Li's diner. He tried to allow all of his thoughts to occupy his mind and keep himself from falling asleep.
About an hour later he heard a click, and the fan noise from the laptop disappeared. Pi turned off the desk lamp and the room grew darker. It climbed into the basket hammock chair to go to sleep.
Zhang Zian kept his eyes open for a while, and almost fell asleep. He pinched his thighs to keep himself awake. 
He looked up and guessed that Pi had already fallen asleep. Then, he grabbed his cell phone by his pillow and opened the Qidian app.
That day, as he watched Pi write, he had secretly browsed the Internet on his cell phone, trying to find out what the amazing reading lists were.
After he finished researching, he knew that reading lists were an important supplement to the Official Recommendation Spots from the Qidian website. A reading list was created by an individual, who would list his or her favorite books and the reasons why they would recommended those books on their list. If other readers agreed with the owner's suggestions, they would start following the creator of the list. The reading list owners were similar to bloggers who reviewed digital products on video websites, and the digital products recommended by bloggers tended to receive more attention. Some reading list owners even had tens of thousands of followers. 
After careful searching, Zhang Zian discovered that the reading list owners were roughly divided into two categories. One type introduced and reviewed each book in great length, while the other kind of reading list owners introduced each book with only one sentence. The former type attracted much more followers than the latter. After all, through the detailed evaluations and introductions, the readers could tell that the reading list owners had put in a lot of work into every book. 
That day, he had mentally noted the reading list owners' IDs who wrote long book reviews and then went to the comment sections of their lists. He first ruled out the most popular reading list owners, because in their comment sections, numerous authors or authors who pretended to be readers were promoting their own books. Those reading list owners wouldn't be able to read all the books being recommended to them, even if they tried to read 24 hours a day.
As for the reading list owners that attracted fewer followers, their comment sections were basically empty. It wouldn't be helpful for Zhang Zian to advertise Pi's novel in those lists. 
After more research, he targeted a reading list owner who had the tenth most followers. The ID name of the reading list owner was Morning Gorilla Star, who was mentioned by the author of Diplomats of the Underworld. 
Morning Gorilla Star had written down his requirements about posting advertisements in his comment: Do not copy and paste your ads. I will promote urban novels that have no or only one female protagonist.
Zhang Zian felt relieved when he read these requirements. He was extremely popular with women, and many cute girls were desperately hoping to be his girlfriend. Pi had just hidden this fact while writing the novel based on the life in Zhang Zian's pet shop. Therefore, Pi's novel had managed to meet Morning Gorilla Star's requirements.
Advertising was like sending resumes to hiring managers. The key points of the novel must be written as concisely as possible. What was the highlight of Pi's novel? It certainly wasn't that the protagonist didn't have a girlfriend! 
He typed on his phone: Can I promote my own book? The title of the book is Pet King. The protagonist, who is the owner of a pet shop, downloads a game that can capture elves. Together with the elves, he witnesses the growth of the pet shop. There is no female protagonist in this book. 
He thought it over and added "Currently" in front of the sentence, "There is no female protagonist in this book." Then, he satisfyingly clicked the "Send" button.
After sending the message, Zhang Zian repeatedly refreshed the comment section and anxiously waited for a reply from the reading list owner, just like a job seeker who was constantly refreshing emails and nervously waiting for replies after sending out his resume. Zhang Zian had read the books recommended by Morning Gorilla Star, and all the books were well-written. Perhaps Morning Gorilla Star wouldn't think Pi's novel was good enough. However, Zhang Zian hoped that Morning Gorilla Star, who had read countless books, could at least tell him why Pi's novel failed to be recommended by him. In that case, Zhang Zian could help Pi revise the novel. Zhang Zian was acting like a job seeker who was close to starving to death and desperately needed a job, whatever the job was, to feed himself.
Since it was nearly one o'clock in the morning, the owner had probably gone to bed already. Watching his comment drowning in other comments from authors promoting their own books, Zhang Zian couldn't help but sigh in dismay.
Perhaps he sighed too loud, because Zhang Zian heard a squeaking sound come from the hammock chair. It sounded like Pi had turned over.
He locked his phone screen and waited a little longer. He didn't unlock his phone until there wasn't any more sounds coming from the chair.
What should he do?
He was very sleepy. Should he wait till the reading list owner woke up and try advertising again? 
No, he shouldn't wait. Tomorrow, Pi would receive its first Minor Recommendation Spot. If its novel failed to be ranked in the top three or top four spots, it might never have a chance to receive a recommendation again.
With that thought, he decided to advertise on another reading list. Advertising was just like begging, and as long as he could swallow his pride now, he would gradually become thick-skinned. 
This time, he lowered his expectations by moving his attention from the reading list owners with tens of thousands of followers to ones with hundreds of followers, hoping that some of them hadn't fallen asleep yet.
Zhang Zian noticed that there was one whose ID was Yang Chenkong. In his reading list, Yang Chenkong wrote reviews with thousands of words for each book and offered many thoughtful insights. However, Yang Chenkong only had a mere 3,000 followers. Would it really be useful to advertise in this list?
Zhang Zian desperately went to the comment section. To his surprise, he saw that this reading list owner was still online, discussing his opinions with his friends about a certain book. 
Zhang Zian hadn't read the book that they were talking about. However, from reading their conversation, Zhang Zian felt as if he had read it and learned about its successes and failures. From observing, Zhang Zian could tell that Yang Chenkong was very professional. 
For some reason, the comment section of his reading list was blank and had no advertisements. Zhang Zian chuckled to himself. He could take advantage of this rare opportunity to advertise. 
There were some basic rules of advertising for all reading lists. Unlike like people who put advertisements in bathrooms,  book-promoting advertisements couldn't be randomly posted. Each reading list owner had different requirements for advertisements. For example, Morning Gorilla Star had explicitly stated that he would only recommend novels with no or one female protagonist. Yang Chenkong, however, had a wide range of book choices. Except for supernatural novels, Yang Chenkong basically read every genre. 
However, the most difficult thing was that the list owner didn't specify which book genres he would recommend, and Zhang Zian didn't know how to cater to his preferences. After thinking about it for a while, Zhang Zian rewrote the message that he had sent to Morning Gorilla Star. He deleted the sentence "Currently, there is no female protagonist in this book." He added, "Feel free to read the sample chapters, but don't blame me if you're poisoned (Translator's Note: Read and Poison sound the same in Chinese)," hoping that his self-deprecating tone would draw Yang Chenkong's attention. 
After clicking "Send", he was too tired to repeatedly refresh the comment section as he did before. It was almost half past one in the morning, and he would need to get up early that day.
Putting down his cell phone, Zhang Zian lay down flat on the bed. Soon, he was half-awake and half-asleep, and he would completely fall asleep at any moment. 
In the darkness, Pi had been watching him the whole time. It had barely moved, except to slightly change its posture after its legs started to get numb.
Pi had always known about Zhang Zian's actions. It could tell from Zhang Zian's exhaustion. 
Since Zhang Zian was so tired, it wouldn't matter if he did these things later, right?
Pi opened its mouth and silently imitated the shape of someone saying "thank you."
What?
Zhang Zian thought he heard something. It seemed like someone was talking to him. He barely could open his eyes. His drowsiness was as heavy as a mountain, pressing down on his eyelids.
He looked around and found nothing out of the ordinary. He unlocked his phone screen and saw that it was past two in the morning. 
Since he hadn't logged out from the Qidian app yet, he clicked open Yang Chenkong's comment section, the second reading list owner he advertised on that night, hoping to find Yang Chenkong's review on Pi's novel. However, he found no review, and saw that the advertisement he had posted was gone.
No wonder the comment section was so empty. As it turned out, Yang Chenkong deleted all of the advertisements in his comment section. Zhang Zian's efforts were again all in vain. 
He couldn't keep his eyes open anymore. He shoved his cell phone under his pillow and fell asleep.

I hear a voice, why am I hearing voices? I live alone… I must have finally lost my mind reading all the terrible events in the news for the last several years of my life. Yes, that must be it, I am insane. And insane people should stay indoors and sleep to avoid bothering the sane who are going about their business. It is a weekend anyway so no phone alarms or urgent business to handle, perhaps I should just sleep until I can think straight again.

The voice continues, so I may as well wake up and deal with this specter so my brain can stop conjuring it up to bother me! I toss off my blanket and stand, or I would have if I was in fact in bed. But to my surprise I feel no movement when I think of performing these actions! Great, sleep paralysis, I finally get to experience this feeling as well… wait!

My eyes snap wide open, yet I cannot see my ceiling. I glance down to find no blanket or body, just blank whiteness that is far too white to be the surface of a wall or bed sheet.

"What is going on? I have truly lost my mind?"

[[You are slow to realize child, but that may be expected as this is not how your world normally functions and would be outside of your expectations. However, we did expect more from one who spends so much time reading stories that begin this way.]]

"What do you mean? Those are stories, a way to escape the unfulfilling day to day life we live. How could they ever be real?"

I turn towards the voice; it feels odd to move without a body. As my eyes finally meet the owner of the voice I am stunned into silence. A pure white manikin with no head stands before me, drooped over its body is something I would expect to see in a roman play.

"What, or who, are you?"

I manage to ask, hoping that maybe the hints they have been dropping are real.

I never really believed in a benevolent creator anyway, so I guess I should count my lucky stars that the gates of judgment ended up being as fake as I thought.

I nod along since that makes sense, I guess. Taking someone from a world that they wish to escape and placing them in another world fitting of their escapist fantasies would be helping them and the world you move them into. Two birds one stone as it were.

Instead of just passing into our realms to be cleaned and recycled for use elsewhere, we shall allow these souls to retain their knowledge and grant them power. Perhaps this way they can improve the worlds they land in and prevent the same problems that have stagnated their own world.]]

Never seen a headless body shrug before, looks odd without the head to move along with the shoulders...

[[We shall grant you such power, we cannot grant enough to make you a God of course. But it should be a simple task to grant something similar to the 'OP' powers your fantasy novels often rely on.]]

Hmm, I have daydreamt of what I should ask for in this situation numerous times. Each time it was different and now that I am standing here a concrete choice is even harder to decide on.

"First, can I ask what the world I will end up in is like? What kind of fantasy would it be if related to the novels you talked about?"

[[A commendable question, the world that has been selected for your soul is one of the 'sword and sorcery' variety. However, we would classify it as closer to one of your RPG's rather than a novel given that this world has developed a numerical way of tracking the growth of those that live within it.]]

"So, it has a level system with stats? I assume that means it has jobs and skills as well? How similarly does it function in comparison to a game?"

[[Unlike games, this world is very real. A slice to the neck will end you in moments, not counting the use of any healing magic to spare your life. What would normally be a set number of HP in your game is just shown as a percentage in this world. A slice to the finger would bleed less than a cut to the leg, resulting in less percentage lost over time. Think of it as if it is an hourglass, the lower the current value the more urgently you would require aid]]

"I see, would mana be the same way, a percentage?"

[[Another excellent question, we shall just display for you what a status page looks like in this world with the same descriptions that a resident would be given, that should make it easy. First, we shall show you what this world calls your Constitutions, these would be similar to stats in an RPG.]]

I glance over the list that displays before my eyes, floating in midair like a hologram from a futuristic movie or even the VR games that are common today. Okay, so it appears that this world classifies physical and mental health in percentage values. I imagine that reaching zero in Vigor means death, that would mean reaching zero in Instinct would be…

[[A coma or insanity depending on what caused it to reach zero, which would also mean physical death in a world without life support machinery and mental therapy. Staying alive in this world would require a nearby healer to keep you healthy or a priest to restore your sanity.]]

As I thought, moving on. The stats under Vigor and Instinct are separate, so the values for those only affect how the main constitution for a stat is affected by damage?

[[Correct, the Instinct constitutions also have some sway over the next set of status entries, however race usually impacts these more than constitutions will be able to counteract.]]

"So, mana or MP is split into two categories here? One for applying to the world and one for applying to myself?"

[[Yes, and some races do not even have one of the these two listed. Depending on what race they are and how much from each parental line they end up with.]]

"Can you tell me what races this world has and what the pros and cons are for each?"

The manikin shrugs its shoulders again and if it had hair to scratch, I bet it would be doing that as well.

I guess, I will just settle for trying to find any written information about these races. Or failing to find books I will ask historians or storytellers. Oh, time to read about these races instead of getting distracted thinking about if there will be books.

"I was hoping for more of the staple fantasy races, some of them are here but some are missing."

"Would I be able to become the first of one of those races as part of the power you can grant?"

I ask hopefully, gazing at the list to choose my backup in the likely event that my wish cannot be granted.

I practically shout, my eyes going wide at being able to be the first of this mighty race in the new world I will call home.

At last, I will have my very own story of reincarnating into another world like I have daydreamt about in between each novel release of the same genre, as the Dwarven King!

I actually ended up living another life in a fantasy world?! Shall I be the hero? The demon king? An adventurer seeking glory and wealth? No, I shall become the first of a staple fantasy race!

Time to be reborn as the Dwarf King in a world that lacks the staple fantasy races, while I am at it why not be the first to own and operate a dungeon? This shall make for a perfect way to found and grow my Kingdom!

The time is already past midnight and Kenniayi stopped using her magic. Nonetheless, The beautiful angel goddess and her assistant valkyire are still occupied with reading their own chosen material. In Kenniayi hands is the book with the title being "Overlord volume 12". Meanwhile, Sethar has the book with the title "She Professed Herself the Pupil of the Wise Man volume 2" in her hands.

After sometimes, Kenniayi addressed her assistant, 
"Sethar, can you please bring something to quench my dry throat. It is been months since I drink or eat something".
"Of course Lady Kenniayi, how about cola, potatoes chips and some fries perhaps?"
Sethar, beautiful teen valkyire, answered back her master call and suggest something that she had just watched on an anime show 'U*aru-chan'.
"That would be perfect, I have always wanted to try that since so many protagonist from these 'Isekai' shelf are boasting about it".

Kenniayi remembered something that she had read from books on Embra's bookshelf. His bookshelf is categorized with several category like 'Isekai, Fantasy , Modern , Psycho , Games , Comic and etcc..'. Embra is a man who like neat and tidy. May it be his house or his office, everything is at its place and books are on bookshelfs and on desk; all put neatly. All books on his bookshelfs are arranged systematically and alphabitacally.  He is not a clean freak and like that but he find his mind peaceful whenever he come back his home and see it clean and tidy. So, he keeps everything in his house in its own place tidly. Kenniayi know that when she read Embra's mind and a small smile curled up upon her thin and rosy lips.

"As you will my lady". Sethar put her book down after marking her current page with bookmark and answer courteously. She then turn to look at Embra to ask him where she can get them from but she see Embra falling asleep on his sofa with book on his lap. Sensing Sethar standing still, Kenniayi glanced up from reading the book and saw Sethar directing her gaze on Embra with troubled look. She then assured her assistant, "Oh he is already asleep hhu.. it's ok. I have already read his memory. There is a store not far from here. You can get from there all you need. Oh and, take this.. ".

Kenniayi tossed a wallet to Sethar. Sethar catched it and asked,"This is ..".
"Oh, that is his wallet. you can take that and buy what you want. Be sure to cast a illusion magic on youself too ".
To Sethar question, Kenniayi answered nonchantly like it is hers.
"Yes, my lady".
[Illusion magic: self] Sethar casted a illusion on herself to look like a woman from wallpaper on Embra's phone.

P.O.V changed.

A man wearing a uniform can be seemed checking the stock of the goods in 24-hour store. He is keeping himself busy so he doesn't fall asleep.
*Clang Clang*
He heard the automatic door opening and stopped working to greet the customer. "Hello, what can I ge..t.."

The man speech is cut short or rather he is completely speechless. What he see in front of him is the lady herself, Maleficent aka Angelina Jolie. How could he be mistaken, he just watched the second movie of her yesterday!. The man assumed that she is Angelina heself. He trembled happily and approched her to introduced himself to her although he is nervous.. extremely nervous..

"He..hll.o, ar..wh..a.at ..can I ge.t.t for you..u. ".
"?" Sethar titled her head aside at the odd behavior of the man before her.She replied nonthelesss to the man and smiled st the end..
"Hello, I want Cola and potatoes chips ".
'Ah...I can die now..RIP.'
"Hello.. Can you hear me...?" Sethar asked again to the dazed man. 

The man recover from his fantasy and pull himself together."Ah.. Sorry. Of course I have cola and chips.This way Madam."
Smiling the man guide Sethar to choose chips to her liking. As she don't know what to choose, she just choose all in the whole shelf.

 "Excuse me, I think I heard wrong. How many bags do you want again..?"
"All. I want all on this shelf and this shelf too.." She points to the shelf full of chocolate and sweets and answered as if it is normal.
"...Ar..e you sure?"
"Yeah.. Can you pack them up quick. I am  in hurry." Sethar become a little impatient for she want to hurry to the apartment and continue reading so she also help in putting the chips and sweets.
"Ok.. As you wish.". Although felling puzzled, the man compile her request and pack chips bags and sweets in the basket and proceed to the conunter. 
"That would be ***$ Madam".Noding her head to ackowledge what the man said, Sethar hand over the wallet to the man.

"Take the money from here". She then proceed to carry the bags.. There are too many of them So, she put them in the basket with the wheel she just used earlier. 
"..." The man is just looking at the wallet that 'Angelina' give it to him earlier and titled his head aside.
"You want me to take the bill from this." He asked with unbelieve look on his face. 
"Yes, take the amount and give it back to me."
"...You ."
"Just take it." Sethar strongly said the man. He flinched and just take the exact amount and also put the change in there.
"Here you go..Madam" .He hand over the wallet back. 
"Thanks, I will be on my way.."
"Yes.. Thanks for your purchase. Let me escort you back to car."
"Oh. Don't bother yourself with this. I can handle much."
After denying the man's help, Sethar went out of the door and turn the corner and whispered.."[Return:Point **]"
With a flash of blue light she disappered. The man is still can't believe himself from seeing 'Angelina' in flesh with yellow and light brown thin clothes and brown pants, seem to make for night wear.
He is distracted from seeing her that he did not notice she also took the basket with her.

At the apartment..

With a flash of blue light, Sethar apperared in the living room of the apartment. Dispelling her illusion, she bowed and greeted Kenniayi.
"I have come back, Lady Kenniayi. Sorry for the long wait."
"It's okay, What did you get?" Putting a bookmark on the curent page, she placed the book down and go check what Sethar got.
"It is cola and chips with various flavour. The man at the store is kind enough to show me around. Although he is a little odd at first".
Thinking back to a few minutes ago, Sethar answered her master. 
"Oh! Let's try them now." Said Kenniayi with exicting look in her eyes.

"Open it all and let's try some. I will go to his room and continue read there". 
After she heard Kenniayi, Sethar asked with worries in her eyes, "Should you not rest? Your magic is getting low".
"I will. I just want to finish this series. Then, I will sleep. You can sleep in the neighbour room".
"It's okay, Lady Kenniayi, I will sleep here. After reading the manga, I also want to experience what 'futon' feels like."
"Ok then, do as you want. First, Let's try this one. "

After that the two of them try some and choose what they like. Kenniayi went to Embra room and Sethar stayed at the living room. 
Sethar finds some futon, get laid on the futon and continue reading but after some time she fell asleep. She has been waking up for some month now(approx:three hour under time sphere = 2250 hour <or> 93 days.)(AN:They can live on with magic in their body. I will explain as the story progrossed.)

Kenniayi went to Embra's room and get laid and starting reading normally and eating chips in between. Kenniayi thinks herself,'Not bad, It is soft to lay down for this great me. He he. But, this books:manga, Light novels and animes. I am 100% sure it is the work of some God who control the soul or Circle of Life and Death, Samsara.... He or she transplant the memories of dead people on other worlds as ideas in the mind of people of 'Earth'... It is good and all so, I can enjoy them but, what does he or she want from the people of 'Earth'? I have already spent nearly two years in the time sphere reading but I haven't finish half of all the mangas,LN or animes yet. *sigh* Whatever, I can only hope the god do not will for bad things for this earth...' Ending her thoughts, she continues to read. Not long after, she also fell asleep.

This is an adventure of a average man and also a cute love story between goddess and a man.

The library was an old three-story building that use to be a factory. It was donated over fifty years ago. And was one of the older building in the area. It had been updated in the last few years with new walls, stairs, and wiring. However, they had kept the worn wood floors and it still had a cool, well-used and comfortable feel to it.

She walked over to the front counter where the librarian, Mrs. Chen, sat working on the computer.

"Hello, Lina. I heard you finally got assigned independent study. It took those kooks up in the English department long enough, heh?"

"You're telling me. I didn't know how many more of those idiots I could take without counseling." She thought about how that could be taken for a moment. "The students, that is, Mrs. Chen."

"Sure. Your class time doesn't start until tomorrow, so I assume you're here for your book."

"It finally came in?!"

She smiled and reached beneath the counter.

"Just this morning. Blood by GRAY."She shook her head but handed her the book. "Sometimes I wonder if I should be worried about you."

Lina laugh. The game and the book was sort of along the same vane but different. The book focuses more on how one could tell if you could make potions in real life. That is if you had blood. The author of the book offer list and guilds on taking a potion from a game and make money.

"Shoo, now," she said, waving her hands. "You're terrible."

She took the book and walked to the back corner of the room where the wide oak stairs led up to the second floor and her special reading spot. She ran her hand up the smooth banister as she walked up, loving the feel of the cool wood. The library had always been a quiet spot she had used to think and relax since she had come to the college three years ago. She used it to get away from all of the whispers and names.

At the top of the stairs, she walked through the maze of books to a dimly lit far corner. The shelves formed a natural hallway that prevented anyone from seeing the corner unless they actually walked through. It held a large beige chair big enough for two and a standing light next to it. She never worried about anyone being there because the idiots on campus barely walked through the reference books on the first floor, let alone the second floor where most of the romance, fiction, mystery, horror, fantasy, and science fiction books were held.

She set her bag on the floor beside the chair and plopped down, pulling her legs up under her. She didn't need the light yet, so she opened her new book and began reading.
