After waking up from his sleep, Roland was informed by Nightingale about Lighting and Maggie findings last night.  The adventure duos set out in the wastelands on their quest to explore more some ruins they had found. Inside the duo found a door that appeared to be locked with some sort of magic. 
"What else did they find in there?" asked Roland.  "The girls said that most of the place was pretty much desolated except for a small passage way that lead to the door, but along the way they could see some symbols on the walls, but most of them were erased or incomplete."
"Does the Taquila witches had anything to say about it?" inquired Roland while taking a sip of coffee that was waiting for him on his desk. "Agatha said that she does not recall nothing about that place, she suggested that maybe the witches in the Third border town could have some sort of answer." Responded Nightingale while she was watching Roland sleepy face drinking coffee.
On the cafeteria part of the castle Lighting and Maggie were retelling they newest discovery to everyone that was willing to listen to them. "It was thanks to my advanced explorer instincts that I was able to discern the blockade to the door from the rest of the walls that surrounded it" boasted Lighting while standing on her chair pointing to the sky. "You got lucky that the entrance caved in when you went to rest on the wall after we decided to take a break from the exploration to eat some mushrooms" replied Maggie. "Don't tell them that…" franticly yelled Lightning. "What did you find inside?" asked Mystery Moon, as a certified detective on her own way, mysteries like these always made her excited. "Nothing much, the place was in rubbles and besides some sort of symbols and a door, everything appeared to have been destroyed by time. "And what was behind the door?" wondered Mystery Moon while she got closer to Lighting to ear her reply. "We don't know." Said the girl, "We weren't able to open the door." "Maggie turned into a beast and tried to destroy it but nothing happened." Said Lightning with a sulked expression. "Yeah, when I rammed into the door, some strange symbols similar to the ones that were on the wall appeared on the air covering that small part" said Maggie in the same mood as Lightning, this was the first time they found something they could not get inside. "What will you guys do now?" asked Mystery Moon a little concerned with the duo.  "We will not give up that easily…" said lightning with her spirit up again "…we decided that it was best to return and tell his majesty about our discovery and then we will return there with a plan crafted by him to solve that mystery." On that instance Lily walked in and asked a little surprised "Mystery Moon what are you still doing here? You will be late to your duties." "Oh that's right!" exclaimed Mystery Moon while she got up with a piece of bread in her hand and left hurriedly.

"It's best to send Soraya with them to the place so that she can paint the symbols, that way it will be easier to find out if the Taquila survivors knows anything about this mysterious door." Said Anna to Roland, she came to his studies like she always would do before going on to her duties in Neverwinter. "That would be the best approach in this kind of situation. Since Lightning and Maggie have already been there it should not be a problem to do that, but still I will talk with Tilly to ask her if Ashes would be willing to go with them." Said Roland smiling while holding her hand. "You do that, I will go now!" Anna got up, she kissed him on his forehead and left the studies. " Then I will go after Tilly." Said Nightingale from inside the mist, but before she left Roland felt and invisible kiss on his forehead.

The team composed of Lighting , Maggie, Ashes, Phyllis , Lily, Soraya and Tilly arrived at the location, when Tilly heard of Roland request she decided to come along with Ashes to investigate this ruins, Phyllis was asked to join them because she could offer some sort of insight if the ruins were truly left behind by former Taquila survivors, Soraya was here to paint the place and it's symbols for Originals Carriers to see, Lily was asked to come by Roland in case some sort of ancient disease was incubating inside the chamber behind the locked door. They arrived at the door and Ashes again tried to destroy the door, when she did that the symbols flashed around it and the wall, in that moment Phyllis talked "This is an ancient vault, they were produced long before the Taquila time, only one was found before, there were rumors that there could be more of them, but nobody bothered with searching for them, because the was with the demons at that time was more important."
"Do you know how to open it?" Asked Tilly. "I might, the records said that when the first one was found, five witches were able to use their magic power to remove the barrier that locked the door." "Then we will do that after Soraya finishes her paintings". It did not take long for Soraya to do that, after she was done Tilly placed her hand on the door, when she did that four more symbols appeared on it, each witch placed their hand on it and infused it with their magic power. One by one the symbols surrounding the place began to fade until they heard the sound of the door unlocking. "Lady Tilly please stand back, ill open it" said Ashes, she held her sword in one hand and pushed the door open.
When it opened a dim blue light came out and the contents of the sealed room became revealed to them.
Behind the locked door left on this ancient there were countless shiny blue stones and a small tablet was sitting on top of a pedestal, on the tablet there was a black crow with shiny red eyes sitting on a extended hand, it appeared as if the painting was alive with his read eyes staring at everyone behind the door, under it there used to be something written, but after centuries of decay most of it were already erased by leaving no explanation what this tablet was and why was it left here. The blue stones were slowly losing their shine. The witches entered the room and looked around, Lighting and Maggie picked some of the stones to take back with them. "Is this all?" asked Ashes a little surprised that the door only had what appear to be some sort of sigils of illumination and a painting. While they were in there the stones lights faded away and what happened left them all surprised. Everything inside the room disappeared, the tablet and the pedestal, all, including the stones on the ground. When seeing the stones disappearing on the ground Lighting checked her bag and saw that those she had stored also disappeared, only one stone remained, and it was the one that Maggie was holding in her hands. After this incident they decided it was best to return to the castle and report everything that happened with Roland.

"Those are spirit stones, according to what we learned from the knowledge left by the ancients witches, those were the first attempts at creating sigils, they were created using a witches magic, but were not very powerful, their main purpose was to store magic power and while that could be useful, the magic stored on them could not be retrieved again, they could only be used as batteries to support the kind of barrier you guys found" said Pasha "We created some of them during the age of Taquila but found out that if infused with a different source of magic power it would lose its effect after some time, the stronger the magic, the faster it would disappear. That's why the union decided it was not worth the effort. 
"What about the painting?" asked Roland. "I also do not know about the painting, the same thing happened on the first ruin we discovered but on the first we discovered there was a crown on the crow head and some treasures around it". "Well if that's the case, I'll have Soraya make a copy of it and send it to the third border town, since it appears to be part of the witches history, I think it would better to not let it fade away in obscurity, maybe in the future we will find out the true meaning behind it." "Thank you, your majesty." Said Pasha in a cheery voice.
Roland left the conference hall with the witches, he patted Lightning and Maggie on their head and said "you guys did a good job finding a part of witches history, I'll have the kitchen prepare something delicious for you two!" Both the girls cheered together while they all went on their separate ways. 
And so the mystery behind the ancient ruin was discovered and life in Neverwinter returned back to its normal self. 
On Maggie's room the stone that she had kept, was being stored inside a special container created by Soraya magic next to the window, she was asleep, tonight she had forgotten to close the curtains of her room, when the moon light shined on the stone, it changed it's color, from bright blue to a burning crimson, just like the eye of the crow for a moment, before returning to it's blue color again.

While doing their routine wasteland exploration, Lightning and Maggie found a mysterious door that they could not open, what could possibly be behind it?

The rain started to pour and the sun has already set hours ago but the battle was still on-going. The battle was so intense that not even one of them both noticed that the moon was getting bigger and getting closer. Ogre was still bombarding heavy slashes and smashes upon Luther. Both were already exhausted, catching up their breaths, and full of wounds and bruises all over their bodies.
With Ogre's Rampaging Trance still flaring, it made him keep up with Luther's unbelievable speed. He may have not landed all his attacks, but when they do, they always do disastrous damage upon Luther's body. At first glance, you might think they're evenly matching but when one can see Luther's face, they'd think twice. He was calm, not even a hint of panic or fear could be found in his eyes.
Luther smirked at the rampaging Ogre as he accumulated energy power in his mouth. The whirling energy in his mouth later developed lightning sparks. A lightning spell!
Crack! Crack!
His crescent-shaped pupils then shined as he fired the crackling lightning in his mouth unto Ogre.
Boom!
Seeing this, Ogre quickly jumps to the side, successfully dodging the attack, although only barely. The bolt of lighting released by Luther landed and struck a huge stone, splitting it in half and blackening it in the process. Ogre seeing the aftermath of such an attack was a little bit shocked. He didn't know that Luther could dish out such a powerful attack in just a short amount of time. His anger was burning more and more after seeing the damage done by the lighting spell.
"Rampaging Trance, quite an interesting thing to have. Looks like it cuts off your fears completely, anger is the only emotion one can have." Luther uttered to himself.
"If you wanna know who I really am, just stay down and stop wasting my time. But you wouldn't understand me, right? Foolish little Ogre." Luther nonchalantly said as he jumped off.
"A darn little cat dares to call me foolish?! Hahaha!" Ogre was laughing but it was clear that disdain filled his every word. He quickly held unto his spiral blade more firmly, whirling it unto Luther's direction.

Luther was firstly hesitant whether to transform himself into his true human form or to stay in his usual cat body if ever the battle gets too intense and hard to deal with. Ogre at this moment was akin to a demon, he was clearly thirsting for more battles. He badly wanted to defeat Luther, it looked like he was out of his mind.
Of course, he is though, that's the effect of the Rampaging Trance. Luther once again shot a lightning bolt but this time from his bright crescent eyes, it landed on Ogre's horns. The electricity quickly spread down Ogre's body, successfully immobilizing him. Ogre can't even lift a finger. He was lying down, not moving an inch but he was still conscious and his trance hasn't been lifted yet.
He took a deep breath and slowly absorbed the lighting spreading in his body. Luther didn't see Ogre do those things because he finally saw the bright moon. He was shocked to see it getting bigger and bigger. He widened his eyes and asked himself,
"What's happening?" Climbing up to the tallest tree he could find. He took a glance at the full moon above the sky. But suddenly he was knocked off by a whirling blade that struck him at the back of his head. He fell down the tree, unconscious. It was Ogre's, still lying down. He summoned the spiral blade back to his hand. He absorbed the lighting and managed to completely control, allowing him to move again. He took a glance at Luther and laughed deviously.

With the energy power he obtained from Luther, he was able to stand, ready to kill Luther who was lying on the ground unconsciously. "My anger is akin to the seven burning hells, whoever gets on my nerve, DIES!" He wielded his spiral blade as he walked heavily causing the ground to quake.
He looked at Luther with his eyes scowling, ready to kill Luther.
"Hahahaha!" The thunder rumbled as the light from the moon reflected and shone right to their area, Ogre was distracted by the moon's brightness. "What the hell is that?" he frowned until he realized something while staring at the moon.
He asked himself, "Wait, why am I alive?" It was out of the blue, the moon surely has affected his emotions or instilled some kind of sympathetic feeling inside his heart. He suddenly felt alone, confuse, unloved. He felt a certain degree of heaviness.
"Who am I?" Ogre said as he was trying to compose himself, turning back to his mild-mannered look. He put his hands on his head as he closed his eyes. He was still trying to compose himself, he was still baffled by what happened a few seconds ago. He saw Luther lying down and he remembered his anger.
He needs to kill Luther first and foremost, and just think of that baffling thing he experienced later. But to his dismay, he was actually hesitating, he clenched his hands once more and tried his best to punch Luther down the ground again.







"Father STOP!"





Lilou suddenly showed up extending her arms as she blocked him from killing Luther. As the wolves surrounded Ogre. Ogre's frown covered face was suddenly turned upside down to a smile when he realized it was Lilou in front of him. He calmed down the moment he saw Lilou's face.
"This is not you anymore!" She frowned. "Luther the cat is not an enemy,  and he knows everything about me more than even myself. He knows about my past, my family, he was there all the time since I was an infant. He was the one who sent me to the village where you found me."
"And he was the one who wrote that letter!" She added trying to make Ogre realized as he reminisces back those years ago when he found Lilou. He knew that a cat was hiding and keeping an eye on Lilou. Every birthday, every Christmas and new year, the mystery was never absent.
He even tried to close all the doors and windows, to prevent that cat from peeking inside the house. He minimized all the time Lilou spent outside, he can't risk her getting taken by that cat. All this time, he was also keeping an eye on the cat, the mysterious looking cat. He didn't even know his name, his intention. As a protective father, he thought the mysterious cat's intention was to take Lilou away from him. And seeing Luther hours ago, he really did think he could and would take her away from him.
Lilou stood up as he faced up Ogre, "Remember when I told you something and you just brushed it off and you didn't believe me?"
"His name is Luther, he is the cat I told you about." Right then, she's still frowning. Ogre's face saddened, apologetic. "It's okay father." She said as she hugged him, while also remembering the time he saw his father transform from a mild-mannered looking guy to one of the most devious beings she has ever witnessed. It was like hell for her, but she realized that contrary to what her wolves told her, her father would never hurt her. She was the key to breaking off his father's trance.

As they broke off their hug, Lilou looked back and to her dismay, Luther was no longer there.

"Where is he?" She was confused and surprised. She suddenly heard a crackling sound, moments later she saw a lighting bolt hit his father's head. He dropped to the ground, unconscious.
"I'm sorry Lilou, I needed to make sure he was completely out of his trance. Don't worry he'll wake up in a few hours. Let your wolves take him back home."
"Now," Luther ordered. Caicos once again summoned his blue magic rope and bound Ogre. Ogre floated and was then dragged by the wolves back to their house.
"It'll be a waste of time to talk to your father right now, his mind is still muddled. But I guess he already knows my true intentions." Luther looked up to the dark sky, "The moon is-"
"I know! someone is trapped there!" Lilou frowned, catching her breath. Luther was shocked as he continued listening to Lilou, "H-he was like calling for help, I'm sure it's not some hallucination and the voice came from the moon!" Lilou said as she gazed at the moon coming closer and closer.
She clearly has improved her senses. But her seeing someone on the moon? Luther was sure this wasn't the case of her senses being improved. It's because of her moon blood, she has a strong connection with the lunar star after all.
What baffled Luther was how the voice that Lilou heard was also able to calm down Ogre out of his trance. He closed his eyes and said, "The time has come." "Luther, are you okay?"
"Congratulations Lilou, you passed this time and you'll be able to proceed to the next level." Luther smiled, it was so rare to see him smiling, very sincere. Lilou cried, "Do you mean I'm a step closer to saving my father?"
Luther nodded gently.
"Somebody....help me." The voice echoed again. "We both know we heard that." Luther smirked, "So Lilou, are you ready?"
"Y-yes!" she clenched her fist. "Then follow me, ran as fast as you can," Luther said before he ran. Seeing Luther run, Lilou first wiped away a tear and followed after him.
Luther's training for Lilou today was focused mainly on her speed and agility. He was keeping a close eye on Lilou the whole time, quietly analyzing her movements. He was lowkey surprised by Lilou's improvements, the her from two years ago could not be compared to the her now. She could now run and dodge at a faster rate, jump to a higher vantage point more easily. He knew this wasn't just about her training, it was because of the blood of the moon running through her veins.
Although, what accelerated the activation of her Moon Blood is her constant training. She was improving at an exponential rate because of her talent and dedication. Luther was secretly delighted by the results given to him by Lilou. Both panted hard after running non-stop, they finally took a rest after reaching the end of the road.
As they were sitting at the side of the road, they gazed upon the starry sea. The moon's reflection shone brightly even though its thousands of miles away. "Lilou, you're the only one who can bring that man down here."
"What? Can't we just fly off the moon and get him?"
"If it's only that easy." Luther paused, "There's only one way to get him down here without alarming the moon's secret portal." Luther uttered before pausing and taking a deep breath.
"Luther are you okay?" Lilou saddened for she feels his sympathy that Luther was only afraid that Lilou might be harmed there.
"There's a law on the moon about bringing magical beings there to earth. One needs to give something in return, a very valuable thing." Luther said.
"What?" Lilou sounded worried hearing Luther's words.
Suddenly the center of the sea started to boil under the moon, this confused Lilou even more. 
Luther always felt that saving that man from the moon is a must. He pities that boy and he'll also become a valuable ally when the final battle with Confucius rolls in.
"You have to fight a siren first," Luther uttered as he stared in the center of the sea.
"A siren holds the key in saving that man on the moon," Luther added.
"What? So you're telling me that in order to save that man, I have to fight a siren? Isn't this a bit too complicated?" Lilou provoked.

"You can't just receive things without working hard, the world doesn't work like that." Luther frowned and turns back to his normal mode, "Now, listen to the voice who called for help."

She took a deep as she thought that this is too complicated but it'll be worth it. 
"Please, someone help me." The voice of the man echoed again as Lilou opened her brooding eyes. 
The wind blew her hair and her eyes that made her narrowed from the wind. The feeling of being near the beach is soothing. "Okay, I will." 


"I'm coming." She added as she looked back to the moon.

From the center of the sea was boiling, the water started to rise as the big waves crashing from quaking ground. Lilou widened her eyes as Luther calmed. He knew what is about to go on. 
As the very beautiful and seductive woman appeared, as the seawater holds her for a seat by the center of the sea. Blue pearl-colored wavy hair, skin as white as snow, eyes as bright as the moon itself. Her facial features were as perfect as they can be. Her face wasn't the only thing seductive about her. Her slender hips and fair skin were like the work of the gods. Her beauty can't even possibly be replicated into a painting.
But when one can see what's underneath her slender hips, they would be shocked. "I-i've never seen such mermaid in my whole life. All this time, they were only hiding under the sea." Lilou surprised as she smiled. "So the rumors were real."
As she was sitting in the center of the sea, she held a trident. She had the airs of a queen, she was the epitome of fierceness. All this coupled up, made her one of the most alluring beings Lilou has ever seen.
"The Moon is shining a bit too brightly tonight, this only means one thing. Someone is looking for a key." The siren said as she was gazing at the moon. 
"Hmm, looking for me?" The ethereal voice of the siren smoothly laughs entered Lilou's ears. The voice of the siren is the sound of the night sea. Calm. 
Lilou's eyes turned blank for a split second but she regained her composure. She then looked at Luther and asked, "How did she? What happened?" 
"Originally portrayed as beautiful nymphs because of their alluring voice but later changed to hideous creatures because of their devious tendencies." 
"Don't fall for anything she says Lilou. Siren's use their bewitching voice to lure men to their doom." 
"You need to kill her and dig her heart out. A siren's heart is a very valuable commodity. That's why sirens protect their heart with all sorts of necklaces." 
"I see." Lilou frowned, as she gazed the looking goddess of the sea. "Do you know her name is?" 
"Do you know her?" Lilou asked Luther. 
"Not personally, she is known here by the local magical beings as the 'Midnight Reaper'. Every night, she hunts humans who are ensnared by her voice and reaps their heart out." 
"She is a feared siren by many." 
"Ethusa..." Luther finally mentioned.
"Remember this is the only way to bring that man here on earth. If you can't even defeat this little siren, I won't help you in bringing him here." 
"Let me see the fruits of your training, Lilou." "The blood of the moon is with you and so are my prayers," Luther added as he slowly vanishes into thin air.

Lilou from Earth found a man who lives in the Moon all alone ignorant of the fact that there was a Moon's secret portal that could guide him to earth. With Lilou's help, he locates the portal. Now knowing of the portal's existence, he believes that someone used it before him and flew to earth to find other beings just like him

Along the lonely man's journey, he unravels a devious plot, a mysterious force is planning to destroy the Earth and the girl who helped him, Lilou.

In a far away universe, there is a shining palace standing high in the mountains, radiating a homely feeling, causing fear and awe into the hearts of those that see it. This majestic wonder belongs to a title. 


The current holder of the title was deep inside the palace,, past endless columns, endless mirrors,numerous doors and halls, sitting in the throne room.


Upon a grey stone throne sat a young man with his face held up by his hands and legs sprawled out. The man was currently tossing a long stick into the air, watching it rotate and swirl with a still face and lackluster eyes. The current Celestial King that ruled over all Deities in the Immortal and mortal worlds; Taro, was bored. 


Near allowed to leave, barely visited by people, his palace was mainly used for meetings. There were no balls, no grand feasts for weeks, no festivals, no games, no laughter ringing in the hallways. After taking the title; Celestial King, over a thousand years ago from the previous holder, he now lacked entertainment in his life. 


Overwhelmingly surpassing the last kings powers, and leaving the other gods in the dust, he had lost hope in someone defeating him, releasing him from his prison. In the past he would call numerous challengers at a time,  fighting bare chested, with only his fist as his weapons. He even fought blindfolded at one point but to no avail, the throne remained his. 


"The God of Death, has accepted your challenge, Taro" A soft sultry voice whispered in his ear, stopping Taro's stick tossing. With a blink of eye,  he was gone and only black smoke was left in his place. In the palace gardens, full of tall palm trees, wide green areas and calm ponds, a tall figure appeared surrounded by the black smoke: Jin Wei. 


With a wave of his hand directed to the ground, large piles of dirt and rock rose up, and started swirling around Jins body like leaves in the wind. When more than a dozen rocks had floated around Jins body, they all smashed into him from all sides, leaving a jagged asteroid floating in the gardens. 


Within moments the 'asteroid' started crumbling into dust onto the ground, leaving a body covered in a light grey, fractured full body armour. It was crudely shaped to Taro's  6ft1 athletic build. Many large and small cracks kept the rock armour uniformed, twisting and skewering around the armour, especially around the joints. The full faced helmet was covered in tiny pieces of square titles layered and joined together, bearing a reptilian look .

In front of Taro, a cloud of darkness rolled in, leaving black bearded old black as the cloud dispersed. The man was dressed in long silk black robes, holding a crisp white stick cane. "The God of Death, Yin Xen greets my Celestial king" Yin Xen said with a bow. 


"Long time no see, Old Xen...Who will replace you if you win" Taro greeted the old man with a nod, as he started stretching his arms and legs. 


"I will have my son Yin Teng, take over my throne …Now! here I come, my king" Clutching the top of his stick cane, he adjusted himself into a low stance. With a burst of speed he appeared in front of Taro. He swung the cane, aiming his swing for Taro's neck. The air from the swing uprooted the ground behind old Xen.


Taro stepped back, watching the swing only chipping away a little bit rock from his backbone.  Old Xen swiftly changed the grip on the cane, swinging back to hit Jins face with the butt of the cane. "Forbidden Dea.." Before he could finish, he felt his cheek being slapped and his waist starting to rotate.


Taro caught old Xen's incoming hand and kicked one of his knees. Old Xens tibia ruptured cleanly from the bottom of his foot. Black blood sprayed onto the ground, corroding the soil and withering the surrounding grass.


Taro grabbed old Xen by the scruff and started pounding him with unrelenting headbutts. OnIy when he started hearing the old man gargling on his own blood, did he toss him to the side. 


"You've gotten faster .... you really always surprise me,Old Xen" said Taro, as his rock amour crumbled to the ground. With a wave of his hand, the garden reverted to its original state.


Turning to face the body of Old Xen, he raised his hand and pink tendrils came out of his palm. Wrapping around old Xen's body like a cocoon, and started shining with a pink hue. 


After a moment, the tendrils retreated to Jins palms, leaving a full healed Yin Xen on the ground. He quickly stood up and bowed, "Many thanks, Celestial King… I still have a long way to go it seems"  old Xen slightly frowned as he said that. 


"Don't worry old Xen...like I said, you've improved … come, join me for a drink …. that means all of you " Taro said, as he turned around and started floating back into the palace. In space around them, a crowd of demi-god & gods came to view out of thin air. " We pay our respects towards our Celestial King" they spoke in unison. 


Some of the gods wanted to decline but the invitation came from their king, and it felt more of an order than invitation. As the drink flowed, Taro became more loose and weaved in and out groups, striking conversations with no pause. Most of the gods present, had become too old for this type of celebration and stayed sitting. 


They admired the youthful energy that their Celestial King had, many of the gods had doubts he would be able to lead the realms due to only being a thousand years old. They had spent billions of years under the reign of the previous Celestial King , who used to invite them to the palace to play board games, gossiping, teas. However Their young king rarely invited them for games and only focused on training,resting or taking walks. 


Finishing the party, the gods bid their farewell to their king and returned to their perspective territories or domains. Isolated and left alone within his palace, Taro floated back to his throne and resumed his stick tossing. "Moon, are you there?" Taro said to the air in a low voice. 


A purple form took the shape of a woman and stood next to Taro throne. She looking down onto him in a loving manner and spoke with a soft and sultry voice " I am always here, Taro"  She ruffled Taro's hair with her hands, licking her thumb, tidying it up. 


"How strong do you think Old Man Xen is now?" Taro tilted his head to look into her eyes, before standing up from the throne and slightly walking down the steps in front of it. 


Moon walked around, and sat upon the throne with a chuckle at his antics. " I would say, Old Xen's power, is almost near the previous Celestial king, if head the title… who knows, he might even surpass him" she said as she leaned back into a comfortable position. 


"Mhmmm...this should work then" Taro nodded and smiled, turning to look upon the now vacant hall. Moons eyes slightly moistened hearing his word. 


"All have been summoned" a wave of energy burst out of the palace, taking with it the part of it's aura across all the realms. All the Gods heard his call, many were slightly started, trying to guess what the summons was for. Some even equipped their amour or even brought their pets with them to the palace. 


In just a minute, the hall was filled with as twice as many gods as before . " We pay our respects towards our Celestial King" they spoke in unison.

 ' Damm, that never gets old' Thought Tarl as he looked over the crowd and animals, as he raised his palm to the crowd. 


"In front of the eyes of the Moon Palace, I hereby announce the next Celestial King as old Xen. I will abdicate and relinquish all my authority as the Celestial King"  The crowd was stunned even the animals.


 "Please think carefully, my Celestial King" The shout came from the god of wisdom, after he had quickly recovered from the news. He was drenched in sweat on his back and his face showed grave concern. The crowd immediately ruptured into a frenzy, animals roaring, hollering, jeers, and yelling, all aimed at Jin after his word.


"At ease…" the voice of Moon travelled throughout the hall, soothing everyone to their core. Taro turned around and gave a nod to Moon, before returning to face his 'ex-subjects.'


"I understand your concerns, but rest assured, old Xen's power is almost within the reach of the previous Celestial King, this has been confirmed by the Moon Palace…. As such, he will be able to defend our Universe. The other 3 will notice the transfer of the title but act they will not, as the balance will still remain so giving the throne to Old Xen will not be a problem"


 ' They'll be more than likely rejoicing when they hear news ' thought Taro.


" Regardless, if they did attack, I can act as a spiritual Asura, if the Moon Palace declares it. I will not stand by and watch our universe being conquered..I'm cruel but not that cruel" Taro said with a slight smile, the hall ruptured into laughter from the Gods who had seen old Xen's and King's fight earlier on. 

 

"Now, old Xen come up here " He gestured to Old Xen to move. 


"Are you really sure about this Celestial King?" asked a nervous Old Xen. Taro patted Xen's shoulder with a wide smile " Of course..". 


"May I ask …. What is the reason behind this, my king?" A woman with jade white skin, white hair and light green eyes asked; the God of rivers asked with her hand raised in the air. 


Taro chucked at her actions, " I a…." 


"He's bored " Moon cut him off, as she was walking down the stairs to meet Old Xen and Taro. 


God of Rivers : 'What your bored?'

God of Wisdom: 'What's there to be bored about?' 

God of Arts: 'You're the strongest being in the universe and your bored!


" I...well… maybe..I,I." The god of rivers became speechless, not knowing what to say to change his mind. She enjoyed being under his reign, he barely interfered with her affairs unlike the last Celestial King who wanted to know everything. 


"Now, lets being!" Taro's aura changed and merged with the palaces, the wind beside him became playful, hugging him as his if he was a lost friend. The ground shook, the sky's growled with lighting, lava swiled within volcances and the stars danced with light to their king. Taro turned around to face Moon, who was now only two steps in front of him and old Xen. 


" As the leaving Celestial King, what do you gift my palace?" Moon said as she looked into Taro's eyes. 


"I hereby gift the Moon Palace, my weeping angels"  Taro raised his hands in the air, 14 identical chubby marble skinned babies in the fetal position with their faces scrunched, and their mouths covered by their hands appeared in the air. Moon waved her hand and the babies disappeared from the sky. 


Old Xen and Taro pressed their palms together, the wind moved and started hugging Old Xen like it was a new friend. The ground trembled, the sky roared with lighting, lava tumbled within volcanoes and the stars shined brightly to their new king. 

 " We pay our respects towards our Celestial King" the crowd said in unison, as they all kneeled.


"I pay my respect to the Celestial King" Taro said to old Xen with a slight chuckle, as he patted his shoulder. 


"I don't think I will get used to that" replied Old Xen as he laughed, turning around to greet the crowd with a nod. 


The group of gods dispersed in all directions, leaving only OId Xen , Taro and Moon in the hall. 

" Taro, will you leave or stay within the realm?" Moon asked as she walked back up the steps and took a position in front of the throne. 


Taro looked up to see her eyes slowly turning red

 "I will leave the realm … and the Moon Palace, I want to see what the other realms look like ….I have been in this realm for all I've known" He said calmly, whilst his body was slowly covered with a dark blue reptilian scaled, body armour from all sides.


Clenching his hand into a first, a ball of white lighting started appearing as he slowly unclenched the hand. Sparking and contorting the lighting formed into the shape of a short axe.


"Celestial King, are you sure you want to be here?" Taro said, as his head was being covered with a scaled helmet. On his other hand, slowly morphed a small pink flat shield, that floated parallel to the back the hand. 


"No, I'll take my leave…." Xen started floating down the hall but stopped mid way, turning back to look at Jin " She'll miss you.. you know that right" 


"I know...now shoo! I don't want you to see my upcoming defeat  " Whilst old Xen left the hall, Taro watched the doors slamming shut.


Taro turned around to see a tear dissipate into smoke as it tried to escape down Moon's cheek. He bashed his shield with the axe and started walking up the stairs.  


" Being with no title! You are trespassing upon this realm and trespassing in the Moon Palace, your judgement for your crimes is death! " Moon's face turned into a black furred dog, with a long snout and pointed ears. From her back sprung out wings like a bat. Her hair tangled together creating a horde snakes and her once caring eyes only showed bloodlust. 


Around the hall and the air, appeared an armada of swords, spears, arrows, axes and arrows. alongside dozens of different circular colored sized Inscriptions in the gaps in between. Taro could see amongst the group that the weeping angels were about to open their mouths and their frowns had taken a picture of serene tranquillity

Above a green and blue planet appeared a black hole, that ejected out a male body and trail of blood. With it's head tilted back, arms and legs stretched out, the body began to descend towards the planet

Suddenly, his divine third eyes opened and shot a laser that sliced through a few lightning waterfalls before he launched the Innate Yin and Yang Qi towards the lightning waterfall, crushing one after another lightning waterfall. As soon as he decimated quite a few lightning waterfalls, he retracted his Innate Yin and Yang Qi back into his eyes to prevent any wastage of energy.
In his true form, he had tremendous control over every movement; his actions were so precise to the point that there was not even a single iota of wasted energy and stamina.
However, the lightning waterfalls were just overwhelming and even in his full form, the injuries only continued to mount on his already battered body.

Things You Should Know
Honestly, judging from the title itself, one’s initial impression would be that the story is simply another boring and cliche cultivation novel. Or at least, that was what I thought at first when I was first introduced to this novel by a friend. But to my surprise, and most likely to yours, (if you read it, that is ...) you will soon come to realize that the plot gets very interesting, involving many characters from the ancient and primeval eras of Chinese mythology.
Every story has their own charms, and every character has their own tale to tell. And this, is the tale of a young man fighting not for himself, but for the betterment of humanity. The plot starts to get really good at around chapter 50-ish, and that’s when the roller coaster starts to rise higher and higher to never come down again (literally, it ended in a climax).

The black giant shark-fin-slash attacked straight at Kokushibo which he countered by slashing too with a countless red slash that's had yellow crescent moon nullifying it to nothing.
