Guan Pi Pi is an amateur reporter. In spite of being pretty and kind, she often finds herself alone in the world. Because of that, Guan Pi Pi feels abandoned and hopeless. 

What she doesn’t realize is that she has been marked with an ancient curse that has been the cause of all of the misfortune in her life. 
Helan Jing is the Jade Master, a secretive cultural relic specialist whose face remains unseen to the public eye. Helan Jing is practically alien to people, but no one knows just how true that statement is--The Jade Master is actually a deity from another realm.

A bakery with a happy family lived, Priscilla, a deaf human who owns the bakery; she lives with 5 other people who help her out around the bakery. Raiden, her boyfriend, a blind feline Geneses adopted to the Hasimoto family, Zoey an older feline out of the Hashimotos, Masashi middle feline out of the Hashimotos, Marlon the youngest out of the Hasimoto. They used to live with their adopted brother before they all moved to the bakery with Raiden. Their older brother is named Arson Dulbane. This family was created during the resistance of the war. They were living happier in the Bakery.
Priscilla is a sweet deaf girl who lost hearing when she was a teen; she has brown hair tied up into two buns.  Priscilla usually have her hearing aid off and turns them on during conversions. She has been Raiden's girlfriend for 5 years so far. Raiden loves here very much; they flirt whenever they have the chance to make others uncomfortable. Radien is a brave, kind blind feline Geneses, lost his sight when he was teenagers. Raiden dyed his white hair to blue. He uses his tail and ears to get around.  Masashi, a shy feline genesis with dark gray hair with white sideburns, blue-grey eyes with freckles, a scar over his left eye. He would stare at people at random whenever he is deep in thought that leads to agreements. Masashi is a good kid towards his siblings. Marlon is the youngest of the siblings; he has blue-grey eyes on his right eye and a heart-shaped birthmark. Marlon is young but understands that life is not what it seems. When people speak to Marlon, he sounds that there are two people in one body. Same with Arson Dublane, whenever he gets mad, his green eyes would change color. Though Arson have control of his anger, seeing him angry is not possible. Arson smiles sweetly when people are around him. His blonde messy hair and greens eyes, pale skin, with wolf features. Arson the oldest out of this family.
"Priscilla, I've been thinking about moving out and finding a place for myself," Zoe stated.
Priscilla turned to her with a smile as she turned on her hearing air. Priscilla asked her to repeat what she said.
"I've been thinking about moving out. Finding a place for myself." Zoey repeated.
"Are you sure? Are you happy in the bakery?" Priscilla wondered.
"Don't worry, I am, I feel like I should make my own money so that I keep myself up. Be able to be an adult for once." Zoey smiled.
"You may have to speak to your family about this; I think it's a good idea for you to live on your own and learn what an adult being is like. I am not who you should ask that question too." Priscilla smiled.
"You're right; I will bring my siblings to the living room for a small meeting. Tell Raiden about this, While I call Arson." Zoey smiled as she left upstairs.
Priscilla smiled happily as she pulled a tray of bread out of the oven. She placed them down on the table and went to work on some cakes. As she made the cake batter, Raiden walked into the kitchen.
"What smells good, or is that you, Priscilla?" Raiden asked.
Priscilla giggled" Raiden, I have pulled out a tray of bread that I have placed in the oven. At the moment, I am letting cool."
Priscilla walked up to Raiden placing her arms around his neck. Raiden pulled her closer into a hug.
"Raiden, Your Sister wants all family members to head upstairs for a meeting in the living room."Priscilla smiled.
"Really right now?" Radien asked.
"Yes, right now," Priscilla said.
Radien gave a kiss to Priscilla and headed off. Priscilla gave out a sigh and went back on work on the cakes. Raiden walked into the room using his tail to search around. Zoey has finished her call on the phone. Zoey turned to see Raiden at the doorway of the living room.
"Raiden, please sit down on the couch." Zoey pointed out.
Raiden nodded as he headed towards the couch; once he found the couch, he sat down with his hands on his lap.
"So what will you like to talk about, Sis" Raiden smiled.
"Not yet, everyone is not here," Zoey mentioned.
"Alright, we shall wait for them to arrive. While we waited to listen to an audiobook? The book I am on is excellent, I reckon." Raiden smiled.
"Sure; what is it's about?" Zoey asked
"I think it was a mystery, "Raiden stated.
Zoey walked up to Raiden and sat down next to Raiden. Raiden pulled out his phone and stuck his earphone in his ear. Zoey grabs hold of the other and sticks it to her ear. The siblings listen to an audiobook together as they wait for their siblings to arrive. Few hours have passed, and the family was in the living room together. Masashi was on sitting on the ground as Marlon have to join Zoey on the couch.  Arson sat down on the ground along with Masashi, with his phone in hand. Zoey got up from the couch and gave out the questions.
"Should I leave this place and go out in the world. Try to make a living on my own?" Zoey asked.
Most of Zoey's being were mixed on the idea of Zoey leaving. Raiden shares his thoughts about it but shares it will be a good idea for Zoey to live independently and use what she knows to the test if she handles it. Masashi agreed that she was working fine in the bakery and that consumers come around daily to make this job secure for Zoey in the long run of her life.  Marlon jumped in, asking when will lunch start. The family stared at Marlon and glare at him to leave the room. Marlon fearfully walked out of the room as his family stared. Once Marlon was out of the room, they kept arguing. Arson brought to the agreement that it would be best for Zoey to start living on her now since her family will not be with her every time she needs them. That she needs to learn how to defend herself on her own. The agreement agreed. Zoey will go into the world and learn to live independently without her family guiding her on the steps. Zoey smiled at last once her family agreed. She hugged her brothers, and they wished her well on her way to a new life.

Zoey wants to be out in the world and work for herself. His family is mixed about the idea.  In the end, Zoey went out in the world on her own without her family to guide her.  She found a place to stay and work. She have got fired out of her job, she started to worry but she kept working hard. Though her luck was running dry.  She was in need of a job and looked everywhere. As a job was given to her but a butler. She questioned the job at first but took it. As soon as she started working for Mr, Lynch things were very off, she ignored it and kept doing her tasks. She have been given a gift one she starts working, a light blue choker with a bell that rang with her steps. She was unaware of who was playing the strings until a girl revealed the truth.

I held my watch close to my face, pressing a button on the side, making the numbers glow a bright blue. I had to squint in the dimness of the train station to make out the dials.
            6:17
            I knew from riding the subway for most of my life that if the train didn't pull into the station by 6:20 that morning, it wasn't coming at all. And there was never an explanation why. At least nothing as workaday as maintenance or extreme weather conditions. When we were younger, Bonnie and I used to make up silly excuses for the train's disappearance. Maybe some of the tracks had turned into green Jell-O. Maybe a herd of giant pink lions were blocking the way. Maybe the train was tired, and doesn't everyone deserve a day off? Of course, there was only one real explanation given for the irregular train behavior. 
            Sometimes the train doesn't come because this is Knoxford. This is a town where the rats are radioactive, and the internet never works. This is a place where the woods are filled with monsters, and the sun never rises. And things are just...weird here.
            I took out my headphones and sat down on the bench against the wall. The station was empty today. Filled only by the sound of crickets chirping. Sometimes I liked to listen to them in the mornings, when I was too tired to concentrate on anything else. I was wide awake that morning though. I kept subconsciously wiping my ink-stained sweaty hands on my skirt, smearing parts of my speech all over my uniform. 
            Sucking in a deep breath, I tried to calm myself. I looped the headphones around my neck and ejected the old cassette from my Walkman. In the darkness, it took a few minutes to fish around my backpack for the next tape, finally finding it lodged in my math textbook. I squinted down at the tape, trying to make out the inscription.

            I had to fumble around with the Walkman before finally snapping the cassette in place. I put on my headphones, and pressed play. 
            It was quiet, here in the desert. The wind had stopped, and the red sand had fallen still. The drone of desert beetles had vanished with the cries of taligons and blemmyae. The only sound that disrupted the encompassing silence, was Azar's muffled footsteps.  Each sounded fainter and weaker than the last. Here in the silence and solitude of the desert, she was finding it harder to believe she could make it out alive. 
            Deserts on Domino were as numerous as the stars. Some as small as tropical islets, and others made the Sahara look like a sandbox. As far as Azar was concerned, she was stranded in a desert as large as a galaxy. Red dunes stretched out infinitely in every direction, giving the maddening illusion that any progress she made was nonexistent. Clearing ten dunes only to find twenty more waiting on the other side. 
            Sometimes amid her frustration, she thought of her crew. Of how much she missed them. Wondering how many of them were still alive. She thought of her ship, the Idrisi, wondering who commanded it now. She thought of anything to distract her from the pain of her limbs, from the exhaustion of her body. 
            But when things turned for the worse, and when she hadn't the strength to go on. She thought of everything she should've done. The words she should've said. The things she should've let herself feel. And she thought of everything she was going to do. Everything she promised herself she would say. 
            When she saw her again. 
The train finally pulled into the station at 6:20; I stepped into the empty train car and sat down in one of the seats, staring out the window and listening to the audiobook as the train lights flickered.

The train lights flicked off, and I noticed out the window the night sky once lit with moonlight and thousands of stars, was now dark. Too dark. I pressed my nose close to the glass trying to make out where the pseudohorizon met the flatlands. But all that was there was an endless black void. Fear settled over my chest. I turned up the volume on my Walkman.

Within minutes, the stars and moonlight reappeared, and my thoughts returned to my audiobook, and worries about my speech I'd be giving a few hours later. If I'd lived anywhere else in America, I would've been more concerned about the stars disappearing and reappearing in the sky.
But this is Knoxford, and the rules of reality do not apply here.

Margaret Chokshi lives in the weirdest town in America. A town where the rats are radioactive, the woods are filled with monsters, and the internet never works. After spending her entire life in Knoxford, Margaret wants nothing more than to leave this town and study astrophysics at Harvard. But the summer of her senior year, a community service project leads her to a corporate conspiracy that could provoke the destruction of her town as she knows it.

Alright, i think i've got it figured out, i need to skip town.
although this may seem stupid to some of you, i mean, why should i leave the safety of my own town that i'm oh so familiar with? Because i'm a bagel for Baker's sake! When i was a small bagel who had just been baked i was already about to be eaten! It may not seem like much for a human, probably because you aren't nearly eaten every day, but i have to live the life you're reading! Needless to say, it's pretty traumatizing.
Anyway, i need to leave before i gain more "character development" in the form of trauma.
As i raise myself, i begin to realize that maybe i should have taken into account the time it takes to get from one street to another. Oh boy, here we go again

Over the course of a few hours/a lot of hours/ if i were a human i would have starved to death by now amount of hours i was able to make my way to the outskirts of town.
Worry not, my dear reader, nothing truly interesting happened in that time, besides me defeating the demon lord, getting a massive harem, becoming the president and then being blessed by Besus himself!

atop a hill stood a glorious blueberry bagel overlooking the town, smoke billowing out of the bakeries and factories, children running across the street, the joy of laughter filling the air. "Wow, if only i was human, i could have had a life just like that" our bagel friend said as he stared at a mother coddling her child "it's a shame that i'm destined to a life without the joy of friendship...  sigh, i wish i could be up where they walk, up where they run, up while they stay all day in the sun~ wandering free, wish i could be part of that wooor-" 
we can't do that? damn it! screw you Bisney!

Anyway, after my beautiful singing [author's note: this story is not an audiobook] *ahem* MY BEAUTIFUL SINGING I still need to find a new town. And maybe some friends... nah, I'm a strong independent bagel, the bagel who has conquered the power of the wind, the bagel who has faced off the hungriest of humans, the bagel who has bested the hottest of ovens, I am the mighty Blueberry Bagel! Another morning.

Other elves, including Richard who rarely got up early in the morning, had gone downstairs. Zhang Zian was cleaning the shop downstairs with Wang Qian and Li Kun. Everything was moving along and orderly as usual. 

Pi briefly took off the pince-nez glasses on its nose, rubbed its eyes, and put the glasses back on its nose. It jumped from the swivel chair to the table and then jumped onto the windowsill. Next to the laptop, there was a crumpled old newspaper. A Microsoft Word document was displayed on the laptop's screen, and the cursor was flashing at the end of the content. Except for occasional typos and inexplicable numbers, the content of the document was almost identical to the front-page headline of the old newspaper.

Pi placed its forehead against the window glass and stared blankly at the pedestrians that were passing by the pet shop. Most of the pedestrians were in a hurry, walking in silence. Some people were walking together and talking with each other, while some passers-by were talking on their phones. Without exception, they were speaking Chinese.

When it looked farther away, Pi could see an old neighborhood across the street.

Lu Yiyun lived in that neighborhood. Pi had checked before. It even knew Lu Yiyun's apartment number. It also knew that her cat was called Jasmine, who was abandoned by its previous owner. 

Yes, Pi knew about the life of Lu Yiyun.

Pi's untitled book contained everything. The book had recorded every detail, whether it was known or unknown to other people, about Lu Yiyun's life. She was a good girl before, and then in the eyes of her parents, she transformed into a rebellious girl who didn't like studying but cared about painting. She had drawn several illustrations, and currently, she was trying to publish a comic strip on social media. Yes, every detail of her life had been written in the book.

There was nothing special about Lu Yiyun, and Zhang Zian was just an ordinary person. However, Zhang Zian's life had also been recorded in detail in this book. Zhang Zian successfully downloaded the Pet Hunter game before the "limited download time" expired. Later, he luckily encountered Galaxy and won the trust of Galaxy. Afterward, he captured Fina, Old Time Tea, Richard, Snowy Lionet, and Famous one by one. Not a single aspect of Zhang Zian's life was omitted, even all his thoughts had been recorded in the book. 

Not only the life of Lu Yiyun and Zhang Zian could be found in the book, in fact, the life of every pedestrian that was walking in front of the pet shop had been written in the untitled book. As long as Pi took some time to read the book, it would find out about the lives of these people. 

Not only the deeds of these living people had been recorded in the book, theoretically, the deeds of their parents, grandparents, and ancestors could be found in the book. 

Not only the evolution of human beings, but the evolution of all the creatures on earth had been written in this book.

In fact, everything in the entire universe, including things of the past, present, and future, had been faithfully recorded in this book.

While knowledge is infinite, life is finite. No one, not even Pi, could grasp all the knowledge in the universe. Although, Pi could find out about the life of the people passing in front of the pet shop from the book, it had no intention of wasting its own time to learn about the life of these strangers. 

Though no one had told it before, from the book, Pi knew that Galaxy had experienced endless reincarnations in the black box; Pi knew about Fina's heart-wrenching departure from Cleopatra VII; Pi knew that the righteous Old Time Tea had helped preserve justice in the jungles and mountains; Pi knew about Richard's melancholy because Richard couldn't meet its previous owner Dr. Irene Maxine Pepperberg; Pi knew that Famous was creating the new history in its world of the imagined landscape…

Because Pi was interested in them and wanted to know about them, it went to look up their lives in the book. 

Even for Pi, looking up the untitled book was an extremely difficult task, so it only opened the book when necessary or when it was interested in something or someone. 

The untitled book was not omnipotent. The book only recorded everything in English. For example, Zhang Zian had written a composition about his mother in primary school. Pi could find the English translation of each sentence of this composition, but it could never know what Chinese characters had been used in this composition.

Theoretically, the untitled book also recorded the things of the present and the future. But the texts responsible for recording the things of the present and the future were changing constantly and were difficult to interpret due to their uncertainty. Only the texts that recorded history were fixated because history is a foregone conclusion.  

"Pi, what are you doing?"



Zhang Zian appeared at the door to the living room. He knocked on the door before coming in, so that he won't startle Pi. 

"Eeek!"

Pi grinned at him, pointing out the window.

"Looking at the scenery?"

Zhang Zian also went to the window and looked outside with it.

"Looking outside is good for your eyes, especially when you have spent some time in front of the computer." He pointed to his own eyes and said, "Too bad it is winter now and most of the leaves are gone. A little greenery would be even better for your eyes."

"Eeek!"

Pi happily waved its hand. It jumped from the windowsill to the table, and then to the swivel chair. Pi typed something in the Word document: It's okay. If winter comes, can spring be far behind? 

Zhang Zian frowned and thought, "This sentence is said by whom?"

Pi typed: Shelley.

Zhang Zian suddenly realized, "Yes, he is a British poet, right? Pi, you are so resourceful! Although Richard can also quote from the classics, it always changes some words to create dirty jokes."

"Eeek!"

Pi typed: Richard is very funny.

"It is, I guess…by the way, Pi, you are a skilled typist now!" Zhang Zian noticed that Pi could almost type smoothly without looking at the keyboard. 

"Eeek!"

Pi, embarrassed, scratched its head.

Just when Zhang Zian was about to continue complimenting Pi, his phone suddenly rang. He didn't recognize the caller's number. 


Zhang Zian answered the phone. The caller was a courier who asked if Zhang Zian was at home. 

Zhang Zian said he was at home, and then hung up the phone.

"Pi, I bought you an interesting gift, and you don't have to sleep on this chair anymore." He smiled, "It will be delivered later."

"Eeek?"

Pi looked at Zhang Zian's single bed and looked at Fina's princess bed and Galaxy's crib.

"No, it's not a bed. These beds are probably not suitable for you. What I bought for you is a basket hammock chair. Do you know what a basket hammock chair is?" Zhang Zian asked.

"Eeek."

Pi shook its head. The information about basket hammock chairs was available in the untitled book. But for some reason, Pi didn't want to look up the untitled book. It would rather be pleasantly surprised later.

Just then, a delivery tricycle parked in front of the store. Zhang Zian asked Wang Qian and Li Kun to help move the huge box upstairs, and then they were sent downstairs to do something else.

Zhang Zian opened the box and took out all the stuff inside. 

Pi gazed at him curiously.

It was very easy for a strong person to assemble the basket hammock chair by fixating the base and then by hanging the basket upon the base. Zhang Zian quickly completed the installation process, and then placed the complimentary cushion from the online shop onto the chair. 

"Look! What do you think? You can try sitting on it," he said.

"Eeek?"

Pi had never seen this thing before. It looked at Zhang Zian nervously.

"Go on. It's just like sitting on a swing," said Zhang Zian.



Pi carefully walked to the basket hammock chair and touched the chair with its hand. The chair was made of real wood and vines. The cushion was thick and soft. It's obvious that this basket hammock chair was of upscale quality. 

Pi put the untitled book on the cushion, and then it jumped into the chair itself. The basket hammock chair began to swing gently back and forth. Pi felt that it was lying in clouds. 

"Eeek!" "Eeek!"

Pi was so excited that it rolled several times in the chair just like an innocent child. Apparently, Pi liked this gift very much. 

"Pi, where do you want to put it?" Zhang Zian asked, "Either the bedroom or the living room is fine."

Without hesitation, Pi pointed to the area next to the desk. It was close to the window and had better day lighting.

"Well, can you come down from the chair? I'll move it over for you."

Zhang Zian exerted his full strength to push the basket hammock chair next to the window. 

"Eeek!"

Pi was so delighted. It jumped into the basket hammock chair and then jumped onto the table, to the swivel chair, and back to the basket hammock chair again. 

"Pi, there is another gift for you." Zhang Zian laughed.

"Eeek!"

Pi stopped playing. It looked at him with anticipation.

Zhang Zian took out a tablet PC and opened a reading App, where he had downloaded some e-books.

"Pi, you are learning Chinese, aren't you? These are the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese Literature, I hope you will like them. It must be very cozy to read books sitting in this basket hammock chair!"

He handed the tablet PC to Pi. Pi curiously held the tablet PC in its hand.

Zhang Zian knew that there was no Chinese in the untitled book, so Pi certainly had never read the Four Great Classical Novels in Chinese. If he had no time to accompany Pi, these novels could help drive the loneliness away from it.

"Eeek!"

Pi gazed attentively at the words on the screen with astonishment. It was immediately attracted to the magical story.

Ickapoo finds life empty. A guide, such as the divine, could help.
Through the journey of the main character, Pi, he learns so many important life lessons and things he can use later on in life. The film shows that while he does go through some very difficult and challenging times, that he does not quit, or give up and has the willpower and the faith to persevere even if at times everything looks absolutely hopeless. By relying not only on himself, but a higher power he is giving this endurance and strength to keep going and even during the most agonizing and stressful of times, he still has that perseverance and does not give up. It shows us that through life's trials often something very good comes out of it.Pi learns to depend on God’s sustenance and provision even when God seems absent and distant.

Our main character is an adult named Piscine Molitor, who goes by the name "Pi Patel," and we meet him as an adult who begins telling his long life-story to a writer planning to adapt it. It's a story that tested him as a person in every possible way, and it all goes back to when his parents made the decision to move from India to Canada, and because Pi's father was a zookeeper, take many animals such as orangutans, zebras, goats, and tigers with them on an enormous ship across the Pacific Ocean. Before this move, Pi was an optimistic soul, who ventured out as a young boy beyond his comfort zone in his Hindu religion to seek out other walks of faith, specifically Christianity and Islam, which he began following all at once.

During the move, a wild, violent storm hits the ocean, flooding the ship and sending Pi, a zebra with a broken leg, a hyena, an orangutan, and a tiger named "Richard Parker" on a lifeboat, leaving behind the several other animals and Pi's entirely family. This whole sequence, which lasts around five minutes, feels like the entire movie The Perfect Storm shortened from its original two-hour length, only it emphasizes the emotional elements. This is one of the saddest scenes of the year, as we see a teenage Pi (now played by Suraj Sharma) desperately hold onto the lifeboat for dear-life, while being washed away from his mother, father, and siblings and there is absolutely nothing he can do about it. 

Now, Pi is stranded in the middle of the Pacific, with an open sky, four different animals, until they are picked off with only the tiger remaining, and his own will to live. The remainder of the film forgoes the back-and-forth narrative between adult Pi telling the story to the writer, but remains focused on his own recollection of events on that lifeboat and the acts of bravery he committed to keep him and the tiger alive. While Pi and Richard Parker are sharing the boat, that does not mean they get along. Writer David Magee makes no mistake in illustrating that while they are stranded together, Pi is a human boy and Richard Parker is a Bengal tiger. The beauty of this picture is that it never mistakes that the only common traits between these two souls is that they are stranded together and both are mammals.



Thematically, the picture focuses on predominately on the idea of survival and spirituality, which gratefully helps Pi keep hope and optimism during these gruelingly unforgiving days. One of the most intense and poignant scenes comes when Pi is faced with the task of killing a large fish. He is starving, and becoming skinnier by the day, so he fiercely grabs a fish out of the water and begins hacking at it with a small axe. When the fish is bloody and long dead, he begins to sob tears of joy and sadness; joy because he finally has a decent portion of food, yet sadness in the idea that he has killed a living creature and is about to abandon his vegetarian vow. Through the journey of the main character, Pi, he learns so many important life lessons and things he can use later on in life. The film shows that while he does go through some very difficult and challenging times, that he does not quit, or give up and has the willpower and the faith to persevere even if at times everything looks absolutely hopeless. By relying not only on himself, but a higher power he is giving this endurance and strength to keep going and even during the most agonizing and stressful of times, he still has that perseverance and does not give up. In life none of us like going through challenging, or difficult times, but I think all of us can say that through difficult situations that we have gone through that we have learned more about ourselves and have become better equipped for future situations as well. Trials often bring us closer to the things that are actually important and crucial to our lives, but on the same thought,  what if we relied on a higher power like Pi does in the film? Christians  know that while God seems absent during a trial, he is very much present and will provide you the means and resources to go on, such as the magical island of meerkats and the flying fish to feed Richard Parker. Christians learn to rely on God, and even while often in those situations Christians feel anxious, or like giving they learned that God was with them through those trials and he was not going to abandon them.God is present and in control durin gtrials even when he seems absent.. No, going through it was not always easy, or fun, but at the end  their relationship with God improved and it often allowed them to trust and rely on Him more. Pi grows in this film as he goes through these trials. They mature him, give him a stronger and more trusting relationship and understanding of God and helps prepare and shape him for what may come in days, weeks, or even years ahead. 
One thing which can be revealed is that Pi somehow manages to survive the ordeal. The story is told in flashbacks by an older and wiser Pi, ostensibly living somewhere in Canada in the present day. These segments introduce the film's most puzzling assertion.

The movie includes strong religious overtones throughout. Pi's early years are spent searching for God and the right religion to join. This is a pervasive theme throughout all stages of the film — setting up the central character's most poignant moment of self-discovery. This takes place when the adult Pi, now in his early 40s, reveals to the listener that the perilous sea voyage enabled him to better know and understand God. The reflection is largely positive.

Alas, Pi spends considerable time praising God as his savior at sea. After all, the necessities for survival were ultimately provided to him.The life of Pi is about endurance through trials and learning to depend .on the God who provides.It ends with Pi being happily settled in Canada with a wife and children and having learnt to depend and rely on God’sustenance during trials and provision.
