Life is always unfair for everyone either its too little or too much but enough for everyone to their fulfillment. You need either to take what you want or just give up what you have, the Very First Lesson of jungle or to be precise the first unspoken law.

Come and be the ones to see the journey of a lowly beast to challenge the very laws that have binded him  in pursuit of calls truth, freedom, peace and most of all to meet "him" again.

After an unknown distance had been covered, the two cars enter a compound, which looked like a military base. Armed men can be seen in almost every corner of the compound. What made one affirm that this place is not a military base is that there is no uniformity,  some are in local attire, while some promote western culture. Those armed men were equipped with sophisticated weapon which will make it very difficult for an enemy to penetrate. When the two cars entered, The armed men along the way raised there two hands up hailing Jungle. 
"Boss of the boss after you na you again"
"Father of the god's who collect foreign currency as sacrifice. Who ever made you laugh is blessed who ever push you into anger is declared died? "
"we pursue am he no go,
 we pin am, he no feel am 
we kill am, he no die"
Jungle waved his hand to indicate that he enjoyed their flattering. 
The two car was parked at the garage, The garage was very big there are about 60 different vehicles, There are also long buses when jungle alighted from the car, he looked around and discovered that the two jeep that the boss normally use is not in the garage which confirmed that the boss is not around. "It seems the boss is not around I can only wait. "As Python get down from the cab peter also follow suit. Python was surprised that peter did not have any reaction, 'is it that he was awake all these while,' python took out the machete to scare him but he was surprise to see peter smiling. "Uncle, how did I get here, I saw my driver running away before you guys came but I was so lazy to bother about what going on." Peter trying to get hold of the situation. Python examined him from head to toe he could not find a word to describe him. He could only conclude that this young boy is fearless. Jungle was also aware of what is going on. "Were you in the army before?" Jungle asked because it is only someone who have seen death countless time that will be well compose in such situation. 
"You can say that but not really in the army." Peter replied while looking at Jungle face. If one looked at Jungle very well, one would find him attractive  when he smile but when he is not smiling he look scary. 
"Let's go over there and have a chat." Jungle could see that his young man is not ordinary but he can't say what is really extra ordinary about him. They moved inside a conservatory to continue their talk. 
"You said you were once in the military or something like that? "After they have their seat,  Jungle could not help it anymore so he decided to thrown out a question. "It's nothing much it just a paramiliary"
"Ok, are not from these country? "
"I'm Nigeria it just that I have spent most of the years in Rwanda"
"Why are you back?"
"I came back to leave a peaceful  life after experiencing all sort of event there, there we're some instances when I wish I'm dead or let me say I wish I never left this country with my parent" although there is no expression on his face, one could feel his sadness in his cold voice. Jungle decided not  to investigate future. Even though he had claimed many life and he had also experience death and life situation, what made him feel this way is the fact that the boy could not show the bitterness of his heart on his face. "What exactly has this boy experienced at his tender age ' he himself his sure that he could not keep such pain to his heart. 
"Let's change the topic where are you heading to? "Said Python when he saw his boss in deep thought. 
" I really don't have a specific place I'm going, l only told the driver to take me to a cheap hotel to spend some time before deciding on what next to do? "
"Do you know that the driver was taking you to a place where he can rob your "asked jungle. This is a rampant issue, most driver would take their passengers who just got back from another country and collect their valuable belongings at gun point. 
"When I told the driver I need  a cheap hotel, l noticed he wasn't happy but I was just to lazy to think further. "
"Be thankfully that the driver is in our  short list, if not who know what might have become of you?" Said Python, but  the feeling of Jungle contradict what Python said, his instinct told him that even if they did not show up, No harm will befall this young man.

A young guy return home after experiencing series of events in his last 13 years in a foreign country. He's return was to find peace and live a different life, but fate brought something different. Dangerous situations to unfortunate encounter, betrayal after betrayal but he was able to bring the best out of it as if he was passing through a beautiful garden.

In the imperial palace Flavio and hellena woke up in the morning, for their little babies that flew over them, after some great kisses of good morning Flavio was changed as he had a meeting with Marco the baron who conquered Xilancago.

 

In the reception of the palace a small space where there was a perfect table to drink coffee or chocolate and very comfortable armchairs, sat Flavio and opposite Marco.

 

Flavio was drinking a cup of hot chocolate "Welcome Marco, I hope you're having a great time with your wife, I know you're going to be a father in the future."

 

Marco drank his hot coffee "to if it is his Majesty Flavio, sorry for my imprudence but what did he want to talk to me about?"

 

Flavio put aside his drink "Marco I have a mission for you but before I hope you can sign a confidentiality contract with me, you can do it"

 

Marco hesitated for a moment but knew that the emperor was someone of confidence "Very good emperor where I have to sign"

 

Flavio nodded and I got a contract he pricked his finger with a needle and placed a drop of his blood in one place, Marco did the same when the contract was sealed a tattoo in the form of chain appeared on his arm.

 

Flavio nodded "Well marked at the time you signed we can continue, There is a race that is very similar to humans or elves have characteristics of animal and human, so little we know are the result of a nahual and an animal reproduce , your mission is to go with Yolotl a nahual leader and a group of brave men to the jungle to look for these groups to come to live in the Roman civilization, their value for the empire is very high remember not to force we do not know how they can react and remember I want free population, not slaves "

 

Marco agreed to the request of Emperor Flavius, after this meeting he retired to organize his team, he did not understand why the emperor loved these beings but his duty was to find them.

 

Two days spent Marco as leader and Yolotl as a guide they met they would be responsible for entering the jungle with a team of 10 elite soldiers, they were placed leather boots with metal soles, loose cotton clothing with green camouflage, food very resistant as dry crackers, lighters, special hammocks with mosquito nets so they do not touch the floor when they sleep, compass and notebook to mark the map, among many other things more like cleaning or miscellaneous items, the weapon chosen was the machete and a gun of spark of a bullet model 18 (18th century), after being ready they started towards the depths of the jungle of Campeche with Chiapas.

The jungle is usually a very dangerous area but thanks to Yolotl the danger was reduced to a level at least sustainable, inside the jungle the sounds of different animals surprised Marco's team had never seen anything like this, the closest thing It is the forest of Teutoburg but this place changes a lot to the forest. The climate is much hotter and life is more abundant.

 

The more they entered, they could see quite a lot of insects. Fortunately, Flavio gave them a repellent made with chamomile although it is not as effective as eucalyptus or citroen. It is the only material that was available in Europe for the production of repellent. lavender, rosemary, alfalfa and cempasúchil (The flower that is used to venerate the dead in Mexico is also mosquito repellent) these are used to plant them on the roads and streets of the city as natural repellent plants.

 

The time of camping arrived since the light lasts very little at approximately 7 it starts to get dark and they do not want to be in the jungle at night walking, they chose to camp in an area where there were enough trees to place the hammocks and to put a fire that will illuminate at night.

After a while I return with a small tribe of small beings with quite rare ears, these little ones had in their hands Marco's boots and the others ...

After having a not so smooth trip down the memory lane, June recovered his senses. It took him around ten more minutes to steady himself again.
"So, no God after all, well not that it matters now" he thought to himself.
So, all in all starting from the beginning it has been thirty minutes of lying in the grass right in the middle of the deepest jungle he has ever seen before in his entire life. 
Coming back to his senses he slowly opened his eyes and checked his physical condition. 
He still had a little headache right in his forehead, other than that he was actually fine.
While checking the condition of his body he noticed something interesting.
"I really don't believe this"
That was actually the most unbelievable thing. He had been lying in this thick jungle naked under a tree for who knows how long and there was not a single mark, or scar, or even a slight injury on his body, not even a tiny mosquito bite.
"I will think about this later and I also feel that there is something that I still don't remember clearly" he thought in his mind. 
After double checking that his body is fine, he started to look around. He checked his surroundings first, found some leaves to cover himself up and found some flexible branches to tie those leaves together to make a temporary clothing for himself.
"It is around afternoon; I need to find some food and shelter before the night falls"  
Then June started to look around trying to find something to eat first, he moved around the jungle in search of water and food. 
He was too occupied to notice that in these few hours that he has been awake there were actually no insects that came even closer to him, because he was in a jungle after all and how can there not be any insects in the jungle!
In a few hours after roaming here and there in the jungle he found a tree of height around twelve meters with a few alluring red colored fruits, that looked similar to apples, hanging from its branches. There were around eight small fruits, the size of a grown man's fist. 
He had never seen this kind of fruit before or instead he does not remember seeing any tree or plant before in his life that he currently saw in this jungle, but he was never an expert on this subject so he was not bothered too much about it.
The only thing is that this is a jungle and there is no lack of dangerous wild animals so how can there be fruits hanging on a tree so openly without any kind of animal near it. 
At least there should be a few monkeys hanging around this tree having fun.
When June found this tree, it was already evening and as long as he can remember this is actually the first time that he has been in a jungle alone but surprisingly he was pretty calm about it. 
The matter of fact was that even June was shocked about how comfortable he was feeling roaming around in this jungle like this was his own backyard. 
Maybe it was because of the experience of death that he had before waking up or it was the cherished feeling of being alive after facing death or maybe it was something totally different. 
At least that was what he thought.
It was a matter of fact that he had no feeling of danger towards this jungle but instead it felt similar to the comfortable feeling of home. He was not feeling lonely, stressed or any kind of fatigue throughout the last few hours other than the mild headache of course.
But still it was his nature to study everything with a bit of patience, after all there are not too many qualities that a person can gain after becoming a scientist. He was not a soldier or any kind of wildlife adventurer.  
Out of precaution he waited near the tree, around twenty five meters away from it. After waiting for around ten minutes he saw a small bird similar to the size of a pigeon but brown in color flying towards the fruit.
It came and sat on the branch on which the red fruit was hanging. As the brown bird was about to peck on the fruit, suddenly a green snake with silver eyes and around one meter length appeared from behind the leaves, and the next thing he knew the brown bird was already in the mouth of the green snake.

What is science?

Study of laws of nature. A description of the rules that governs the world.

His soul crosses the barrier of life and death and he wakes up in a new body in a totally different world where knowledge is strength and body is the only weapon.

June finds himself in the beginning of an ancient era, era of Gods.

The next morning, Chang sat up from the bed with his head throbbing. As usual, Zhizhi stayed in his room. He took the clothes hooked behind the door and changed into them.
"Are you heading out?"
"Yeah."
"Is it dangerous?"
"I'm not sure, we'll see." 
He took his crossbow as well as his handguns, zipped up his jacket, and secured his dagger in its sheath. He was all set to go.
　　
"I think we should close the bar for two days, and don't forget to lock the door," he said to Zhizhi. "He's going to make his decision public today, so be ready for the riot that goes around. Don't forget to take care of yourselves.
"I won't be back for at least three days. Mr. Li will send soldiers to be stationed beside the bar to ensure your safety. As long as you stay indoors, you guys will be safe," Chang said while checking bullets for his  two handguns.
　　
The Shark was an upgraded Pfeifer Zeliska with larger bullet capacity. Compared to the old one that he had used, the power of this was shockingly destructive.
　
The handgun sacrificed its accuracy to improve its capacity and destructive power. Even if it was used to fight against the gene-altered soldiers, the power would be great enough to punch holes in them at close distance. However, beyond the fifty meters range, the aim became unpredictable; more precisely speaking, the Shark wasn't design for shooting over thirty meters —this was due to its pursuit for destructive power.
　　
Though, long range shooting wasn't essential to Chang. Because the furthest he could see was thirty meters—past that distance, the sniping crossbow always performed better.
　
Chang doubled-checked his equipment in the room, then left the bar, waving to Zhizhi before he turned his head.
　　
His mission today was to investigate the habitat of those unknown super lifes. Before Qing Shui got too drunk yesterday, he left a piece of cloth with a special scent to Chang. Needless to say, Qing Shui's intention was clear.
　
Of course, Chang still had a choice of not executing the mission. Though as Qing Shui had said, the threats were coming closer, and all of these seemed to be interrelated with them in innumerable ways. He couldn't run away from or pretend to not know them. Chang thought, as long as he could help, he would try to make things better in his own way.
　　
Chang sniffed the cloth diligently, then gradually paced towards the source of it.
　　
The pedestrians on the street were still innocent of the incoming disaster. They thought that they could thrive through the days in the red fog, but the striking fact of the end of their peaceful lives was ahead of them in the most cruel way.
　　
In comparison to the first apocalypse, the second appeared to be more brutal. None of the citizens were prepared for the sudden change of the air, but the second time would be the coming of the super lives' attack. Humanity seemed to be so fragile in front of threats that exceeded them in power.
　
Humanity had grown to be more prosperous, but all these treasure of knowledge and wisdom were taken by the Willow in the blink of an eye compared to the human history.
　　
At the edge of the jungle, Chang glanced towards the south, where Wuhan was. A Willow with millions of brains grew there; he couldn't imagine what the city had become. 
　　
He sighed and then entered the whimsical jungle.
　
Under the daylight, the jungle was dumped into profusion.
The sun shredded its beams through the branches, the shadow mottled on the ground. The jungle changed its colors through evolution and mutation, and trees grew into shapes that endeavored for more warmth and light. Plants were no longer dressed in the plain looking greens. Fungi reached out their volva in damp shadings. Some plants shifted uncomfortably when Chang screened the sunlight on them.
The fern on the ground shook their arms around, constantly seeking for a more suitable living environment.
　
The vibrant jungle was splendid yet beset with crisis. Here was just the bottom of the ocean, the difference of a coral reef could hardly be told from a red octopus.
Trotting through the jungle consumed a lot of energy for Chang as he needed to pay full attention to every detail around him. Even though his olfactory ability surpassed Zhizhi's to a point that his was comparable to a rat's. He was able to tell apart the dangers lurking within the jungle, but mutation often brought out new species that he had never met before, so Chang could never be sure even of his own safety.
Chang took off the sniping crossbow from his shoulder. In this jungle, the loud noise of a gunshot would be a tempting lure to hunters, so he decided to investigate with the crossbow.
His goal today was to locate the habitat of the super life, so that he could lessen Qing Shui's burden. If Qing Shui needed to search for the super life, at least he would have a rough estimation of their hiding spot. Yet the jungle played naughtily by messing with Chang's nose. The trace of that special scent lingered in the air yet was almost impossible to find. 
　　
He explored the area, heedfully and without hurry, as he walked through this flirtatious jungle.
　　
Under the guidance of the scent, Chang entered from the north entrance of the jungle. It was the same route that they had taken in the Yessie battle. The scene was familiar but much had changed here. The journey deepened the hard frown on Chang's face.
A warning sign was waiting ahead of him, yet he had to trespass into the forbidden zone.
It was a region fraught with toxicants.
　
Four years ago, when Qing Shui detonated the hypermutable bacteria bomb beside the Yellow River, the bacteria suffused the region, bringing an end to the species residing within. The bacteria even traveled beyond the battle zone. It almost infected the whole area that was occluded by the jungle.
　
Although Qing Shui's squad sterilized the whole battle zone afterwards, the hypermutable bacteria was almost impossible to completely disinfect. Not only did the remainders reproduce, but also their resistance aided them in surviving by infecting other species.
　　
Those infected species suffered from the torment of infection, but if they lived through the period, they would have an exclusive spot to occupy in the jungle.
　　
Thus, after four years, the infected zone was more deadly and poisonous than any other in the jungle. Species in this zone were not only able to produce antibodies to resist the hypermutable bacteria, but also carried the bacteria themselves. More than that, they used the bacteria as a defensive weapon .
　　
When the news reached Qing Shui's ears, he was greatly impressed by the imagination of the nature. At the same time, he ordered a prohibition to this zone.
　
"This is tricky..." 
As Chang looked around, he realized the the colors around had become monotone. The branches of the trees grinned at him, and the footprints of animals and insects were less frequently seen. It worried him.
　　
"Humans are the masters of destruction but nature is the master of creation..." 
Chang looked back to the fantastic world behind him, then turned to the greyness in front of him. He decided to stop here. 
　
"It's too dangerous, even it's me, I may get infected somehow," Chang murmured to himself. At the same time, a branch with a slim lump burst apart, and a shower of black juices splashed toward him.
　
"What!" 
Chang dodged out of instinct, but the black juices were forced out from the lump and ejected intentionally toward Chang. He jumped back for a step but that wasn't out of the splash zone. The juice rain was a concentrated stream, so he was able to avoid most of it.
However, what made the situation worse were the simultaneous bursts of other lumps, as if the trees were conscious of an invader. The black juices  came as multiple streams of spray toward his location.
　　
Dodging wasn't the ultimate solution in this situation as more and more lumps were triggered.
　　
On Chang's camouflage uniform, there were two drops of black juice sprinkled and stained. Soon, the acidic juice corroded through the cloth layer, while a stinky smell of rotten eggs came forth from the spots.
　　
Chang swiftly removed the jacket and threw it in to the air as a lure. He sprang away from the besieged circle, returning to the fanatically vivid world. 
It was life threatening here.
　
To mark the spot, Chang peed on a tree before leaving the place—a place he shouldn't intrude by himself.
　　
This was a place unintentionally and artificially made, which wasn't at a danger level that he could handle with ease.
　　
He veered, thinking that he should report this to Qing Shui immediately. 
At the moment he was turning to leave, a strange scent reached his nose. It was extremely familiar to Chang—the scent of the target! However, the scent seemed to came from the other direction instead of the poisonous zone.
　　
However, Chang didn't want to take the initiative to chase after it. Whatever that super life so named by Qing Shui was, it was not something that he could compete with. He came here to confirm its location and the scent assured his doubts. He was delighted as he moved at a steady pace. 
Unexpectedly, the scent smelled like it was approaching Chang. It came a few times faster than him—it must've been attracted by his pee mark.
Perhaps, perhaps that organism was searching for humans too.
　　
Thinking of this, Chang sprinted away without hesitation, keeping to his highest speed. He even utilized his navigation skills to map out a route that was the most difficult to go through. However, his efforts seemed useless as that organism caught up with him after one hundred meters.
　　
Chang was sure that he couldn't run away from the pursuer. Instead of endeavoring to flee from it, he sprang up and clawed with his hands at a tree, coordinating his movements so he moved like a gecko. Once he reached a branch, his hands instantly operated the sniping crossbow and he aimed it at the source of the scent—a fishy smell.
　　
The trigger was pulled and the bolt shot off from the trigger mechanism. It tore layers of leaves, finding its way to the target.
"Ah!"
　　
The bolt was nowhere to be seen but the voice came from a place beyond his vision; the scream sounded like a human's.

Five hundred million years ago, an epoch of extraordinarily fast evolution and mutation took place. It is said that all ancestors of today’s species on Earth derive from those that appeared in the “Cambrian Period”. 

Unfortunately, nothing gold can stay. After the brief “Cambrian Period”, life on Earth entered a period of stagnation. Humans came out on top, becoming the most powerful species on Earth.

A second age has come.

During the first “Cambrian Period” humanity was kicked off of the throne of the food chain quickly. Now, during the second “Cambrian Period”, what will happen to humanity?

The real end of the world is not the tale of brainless zombies. 

It is paradise.

Ren gasped for air as his head broke the waters surface. The water was surprisingly cold compared to the jungle heat which had caused him a slight shock.
The water was about neck deep, but the current's strength pulled him along quickly. He kicked and tried to reach the opposite shore. His spear weighed him down, but he managed to drag it with him.
The river wasn't very wide,being an offshoot of the main body. Ren, being a strong swimmer, made it to the other side without much trouble. 
'Why does the jungle hate me so much' Ren thought, bitter about the last few hours.
'Poor Lin and I....wait! Where's Lin!?'
Ren turned, his face contorted with worry. 'Can she swim? Does she have enough energy to fight the river?'
He scanned the river's center and banks quickly. The water moved so fast that Ren had no idea if she had been swept away or not. 
"Lin!" He shouted. "Liiiiiinnnn!!!" 
He began running downstream, ignoring his aching body. He could rest after finding Lin, or when he died.
Despite their limited communication, she was his only real friend out here. Loosing her would be a real blow to his mental and emotional health.
After a few moments of panic, he heard a voice call from close by.
"Ren!"
Relief flooded through him. Making his way towards the voice, he soon saw her. She was just out of the shallows at the edge of river. Lin looked fine, only exhausted. 
'Thank heavens she can swim' Ren sighed, running up to her. 
"Are you okay?" He asked hurriedly, looking for any obvious wounds.
"I'm okay" she sighed, laying on her back. She closed her eyes.
"That was terrible" she said.
"Terrible?" Ren asked, unsure about the strange word.
"Very bad" Lin explained patiently.
"Oh, yes. Very terrible" Ren agreed. 
He sat next to her, brushing off the majority of the mud and plants that cling to him 
Ren sat there thinking while catching his breath. Night was upon them, and they were in the open. Both of them were exhausted and needed time to recover. 
The last few hours had depleted any energy his body had left. He was grateful for being in shape, other wise he may have ended up as ant-food.
After taking time to catch their breath and check their bodies for unseen injuries, they stood up. 
Who knew where they were now. Running for their lives had prevented them from caring about there current location. The only good thing was that they had found a source of water again.
Ren wondered if this was the same river that stemmed from the waterfall, or if it was just a branch off. It could even be a completely different river, but Ren assumed the chances of that were low. How many different rivers could a jungle hold only a days travel apart?
The itching had thankfully stopped, but Ren worried about infection after exposing their open sores to the mud and river water.
He recalled his mother telling him horror stories about how people whose wounds became infected became sick and died soon after.
How unlucky would they be if they survived the lizard, poison, ants, and river only to die to infection? 
At this convenient time, Ren recalled his luck stat was, in fact, 0. He wasn't sure if this was high or low compared to others, but 0 was the smallest number he knew of. 
"Hey sys, how do I improve my luck stat?"
[The luck stat cannot be improved, but is calculated based off of the hosts memories and current experiences]
"So am I unlucky, or lucky?"

"...Sh*t." Ren exclaimed, kicking another tree despite his toe's great protest.
Of course he was unlucky, who was he trying to fool. He had moved from home to the one place demons lived. He had his eyes gouged out and then was sent to a whole new world. Sure some poor chaps hadn't made it, but then again, doesn't dying beat this hell hole? He had the system, yes, but it hadn't helped him when he was running for his life, nor when had to fight those centipedes earlier. 
Ren sighed. Even if life sucked, he would keep living. He still had people who loved him and people he loved. He had reason to keep moving forward, and he didn't want to die.
Ren recalled the fear he had felt when leaving home for the first time. The unknown had scared him and he didn't want to be alone, but he still remembered his mother's words.
"Life is what you make of it."
Ren wanted his life to be more than the sh*t hole it was right now. He would keep being stubborn, keep moving forward, and eventually he would create a life that he loved.
The only thing he didn't look forward to was how long it would take to get there.

They spent the night by the riverside, taking turns getting what little rest they could. The jungle was rather warm but they were still pretty cold until their clothes had dried. 
Nothing had bothered them during the night to their relief and when morning came around Lin and Ren were prepared to travel again.
They followed the river downstream, not wanting to leave and experience the swarm of ants again. Ren would rather fight of a single monster or two from the river than fight a million ants.
Thankfully the ants had not crossed the river and soon the thunder of their travel faded away. 
Following the exit of the ants, life seemed to return to the jungle. Birds began to chirp, small rodents skittered about and smaller insects buzzed around. They even saw a few monkeys in the branches high above them, swinging from vine to vine and playing cheerfully.
A few curious creatures even approached Lin, but ran off when they saw Ren. Maybe the spear scared them, but according to Lin it was because he was 'ugly as a monster'.
They followed the river for a few days, eating the animals or fish stupid enough to get within spear reach and a few small fruits from plants they had found. 
Eventually the trees became more sparse and the dense foliage on the jungle floor shrunk and turned to grass. Before long Ren looked out and saw a large marshland.
Lin gestured ahead, "I know this place."
Ren raised his eyebrows in surprise. "You do?"
"Yes. I traveled through here and was chased by those monsters earlier." She looked reminiscent, as if that had been forever ago.
'The giant centipedes' Ren surmised when hearing the word 'monsters' from Lin.
The marsh didnt last forever as he could see hills in the distance, but it would take a day to get there. And if there were more centipedes in between those hills and the jungle, then this part of their journey wasn't going to be fun.

Wishing wells are seen as positive objects. Many of us have tossed a coin or two in, hoping that our dreams and wishes will come true. But these wells are dark, unknown places that hold many dark desires. These desires can attract unwanted inhabitants...

Ren finds himself too weak to resist the perils of the well. In order to grow stronger, he must train and fight for his life. Sadly, (and predictably) things don't go according to plan.

Now, Ren must carve his own path; be it through peace, or through destruction.

The Blood Fang's people had once again showed up outside the Cold Stream Valley.

Not only Ji Xia, but also Ji Zhuo had burst into anger. He had taken his contracted Fire Crow and searched the surrounding jungle for days, however, he didn't find even a trace of the Blood Fang; therefore, Ji Zhuo could only proudly tell Ji Hao that the Blood Fang's people were frightened by his existence and had already fled.

Ji Hao didn't think that it was this simple though; but he either could find any evidence revealing the schemes of the Blood Fang so he could only bury all the questions deep down his heart for now.

The next half-month had been strangely quiet and peaceful, with nothing abnormal happening.

Ji Hao had started to practice regularly according to a schedule, just like in his old days in the Gold Black Mountain.

At dawn before sunrise, Ji Hao would already get up, sit on the mountaintop with his legs crossed and practice by purifying his Yuan Dan while waiting for the first strands of the purest life force energy which the forest only releases during sunrise.

After finishing his morning practice, he would go hunting with Qing Ying and hundreds of clansmen to supply food to the entire Cold Stream Valley.

Each day, Ji Hao would eat large amounts of beast's meat during lunch and practice his physical strength in the afternoon. Within only half a month, Ji Hao had managed to completely stabilize his bloodline power which had been fluctuating after he upgraded to the Junior level. Every day, large amounts of Senior Magus' blood was being transformed by the multicoloured flame and absorbed by Ji Hao's body. The Gold Crow Bloodline power of Ji Hao had been continuously and steadily improving, as well the power of his three special abilities.

During nighttime, Ji Hao would either learn drug-making skills from Qing Fu or practice fighting skills under Ji Zhuo and Ji Xia's tutelage.

Both Ji Zhuo and Ji Xia were exemplary great warriors of the Southern Wasteland; they did not have any specific fighting skill; every attack they launched followed the instincts of their bodies, imitating the wild beasts living in the jungle. What they had been pursuing was to cast the fastest attack through the shortest route, killing their enemies as efficiently as possible.

Under Ji Zhuo and Ji Xia's strict training, Ji Hao gradually had surpassed the artistic, complicated and ingenious attacking skills inherited from his previous life and became mature, fearless and decisive.

The fighting skills passed on from his previous life and the instinct of killing and fighting of his current life slowly merged together by the power of his soul, subliming into a special, powerful 'fighting skill' of Ji Hao. By practicing intensely during this half month - although Ji Hao's power level didn't improve much - his fighting and destructive power had improved by ten times. 

At present, at dusk.

Ji Hao stood on the wall, provoking a Silver Double-headed Snake with ring-shaped speckles covering its body.

The ten-foot-long poisonous snake moved as fast and light as a gust of wind; its body was wriggling quickly, and it seemed as if it would dart out any moment. A large group of Fire Crow Clan and Qing Yi Clan warriors had surrounded Ji Hao while praising him loudly.

"Hao is truly worthy to be the son of Brother Ji Xia and Sister Qing Fu, such a young Junior Magus! I doubt even the Bi Fang Clan has any kid as talented as him!"

"Aye, compared to Hao, I'm so ashamed. I'm ten years older than Hao and still only a Level 12 Novice Magus!"

"Tell me about that! I could chop this 'Double-headed Black-ring Viper' to death but I do not dare; how does he dare to play with such a highly poisonous viper like this?!"

Following their voices, on a high watch tower a hundred feet away from the crowd, a Qing Yi Clan warrior suddenly shouted out, leaned half of his body out of the tower and pointed his finger at the dense jungle below.

"Oy! Over there! Something has happened! I saw blood glistening under the sunlight! Fresh human blood! Someone has been hurt over there!"

Along with the rustling sound of branches and leaves, miles away in the jungle, a nest full of sparrows flew high into the sky in panic. All of the warriors on the wall shouted out; there had to be someone running and fighting in the jungle and scared those birds.

Ji Hao took a deep breath, suddenly thrusting the branch forward. Followed by two popping sounds, both of the snake's head were smashed by the branch. Ji Hao then kicked the still squirming, viper down the wall, leapt hundreds of feet high into the air, grabbed a fender pile of the watching power and swung into the tower.

"Whoo~ho~~", the warrior in the watchtower let out a long and resonating shout.

In the Southern Wasteland, this kind of shouting sound meant that this area was under the domination of a certain clan, telling the enemy to not come anywhere near; on another hand, the special rhythm of this kind of shouting sound could also lead the direction for their own clansmen and friends, guiding them to safety with the shouts.

The creaking sounds of branches kept coming from the jungle ceaselessly; after the time span of around tens of breaths, a man covered in blood staggered out of the jungle while rushing towards the entrance of the Cold Stream Valley, leaving a trail of blood behind him.

The man had run less than a hundred feet away from the jungle and was still over two miles away from the Cold Stream Valley. Ji Hao activated his Gold Crow pupils and easily saw his face. The man's upper body laid bare and a blood-red leopard totem was tattooed on his hairy chest.

It was a person from the Fire Leopard Clan. The Fire Leopard Clan was a middle-scale clan, under the protection of the Fire Crow Clan. Their territory was located in the northern side of the Fire Crow Clan's territory. The Fire Leopard Clan clansmen were all brave and skillful fighters; they were very close to the Fire Crow Clan. For years, every time when the Fire Crow Clan fought against the Black Water Serpent Clan, the warriors of the Fire Leopard Clan had always been in the frontline as the vanguards.

"It's our brother from the Fire Leopard Clan!" shouted Ji Hao, he then leaned his upper body out of the tower and shouted to the warriors standing on the wall, "Go save him!"

"Ho! Ho!"

A couple of warriors let out great shouts and rode on their contracted beasts. They leapt down from the wall and moved rapidly towards the injured Fire Leopard Clan warrior at their highest speed.

"Hehe..."

A vicious laughter came from the dense jungle behind the Fire Leopard Clan warrior. Followed by a swishing sound, two arrows darted out of the jungle and approached the back of the Fire Leopard Clan warrior in the blink of an eye.

"Do you even deserve to use bow and arrows in front of me? I, Qing Ying, am the most handsome archer of the Qing Yi Clan and the youngest Senior Magus in the history!" Qing Ying's voice came from afar. Along with a sharp whistling sound, a phantom of an arrow flashed through the air, flying towards the back of the Fire Leopard Clan warrior.

The cyan arrow turned in a half-circle pathway, accurately hitting the two arrows coming from the jungle onto the ground.

The Fire Leopard Clan warrior stumbled and fell hard on the ground; his head bounced on the ground, leaving a deep pit and a rising large cloud of dirt.

He raised his bearded face embarrassedly and screamed with a hoarse voice, "Help us! Help our clan! The scumbags of the Blood Crocodile Clan and Ghost Frog Clan were both attacking us together! Good God! A couple of days ago, the Gold Black Mountain transferred all our young and strong warriors away!"

After hearing the cries of the man, the Fire Crow Clan warriors all roared out in rage.


Long ago, there were people who stood upon the earth with their heads held high. They never bowed to anyone because of their indomitable spirit. They were capable of controlling wind and lightning, and conquering dragons and serpents. They seemed strong enough to split the earth and shatter the stars with their fists. Afterwards, Ji Hao becomes increasingly more powerful.

Arthur watched on as his master's left hand dripped with blood. Arthur had wanted to rush forth and slay the jungle dog but wasn't able to because his master didn't order it, this was because tamed beasts were restricted in their actions when it was directly related to their master and fighting. This was the only restriction tamed beasts had unless ordered by the Tamer, otherwise they were free to do what they want, of course the Tamers could force the tamed beast with their soul connection but tamers rarely chose to do this. One, because it would waste their soul energy and second, because it would anger the tamed beast and make it even more defiant.
Aeron hissed in pain as the jungle dog's fang opened a wound on his left hand, this pain was a first for him, he had never had a bigger wound even in his past life. The jungle dog didn't let him rest as it started to rush at him again. Aeron quickly raised his spear, backing away while sweeping his spear on the jungle dogs' direction.
Hiss!
Aeron hissed again, his wound was opening further as more blood flowed out, the pain was unbearable to him, even tears started forming on eyes. He was a person who was raised in an environment where there were almost no life threating fights. He was a modern person whose worries were about money and food, sure there were people who enjoyed martial arts, he even liked watching mixed martial arts in television but that was it. But this time it was his fight, this was his first fight in this world and if he wasn't able to do this then he'd better be off dying now than burdening his pets or other people in the future.
Aeron's head cleared up as his resolve strengthened, but resolve was resolve, he still had to think of a way to kill this beast. As Aeron's mind tried to think of a way, the jungle dog kept on chasing him as he kept sweeping his spear in retreat, each sweep worsened his injured hand.
Aeron suddenly stopped backing away as he thrusted his spear at the jungle dog blood trailing through the air, his spear was noticeably slower than earlier but as smart as the jungle dog was it only knew to dodge at the moment. As the jungle dog crouched down, Aeron right hand reached for his back. The jungle dog noticed the movement but it still continued its lunge, its mouth was opened as sharp fangs made their appearance, much larger than typical dogs, but that was it.
"RAAAAHH!!"
Aeron shouted as he stabbed the jungle dog's head with an arrow, this was the plan he came up with. The spear thrust wasn't much slower because of his wounded hand, it was because he only used his left hand to thrust the spear, and as predicted, seeing the familiar movement the jungle dog repeated its actions. His right-hand reached behind him to grab an arrow from his quiver, and as the jungle dog lunged, he stabbed its head through its eyes.
"ha ha ha ha"
With the jungle dog dead, Aeron's body relaxed, the pain was still there but the feeling of victory was even more vivid. This was his first victory, the pain, exhaustion was nothing compared to the joy. Still he winced as his knees buckled. But before he fell, Arthur helped him, Arthur could finally help his master. The restriction on the tamed beast only applied when it comes to fighting, unless of course the master ordered it. This restriction was generally known as a protection for the Tamers, the tamed beasts weren't 100% loyal, this was depending on the Tamer's methods of taming the beast and also his treatment with the beast. If it came to the point where the thoughts fighting which was directed to the master came, then the beast would be restricted.
"Thanks Arthur"
As Aeron said this, an aura of promotion emanated from his body, this was a sign before a level up, Aeron quickly sat down. His body suddenly swelled with power, he felt like he could punch a tree down, but this was only temporary as the level up happened. There were actually those who used the level up process in battle, this would give a strengthened attack but would also cancel the leveling process as well as removing the accumulated mana before the level up.
This process usually took hours depending on the stage you're in, Mortal Stage usually took about an hour to consolidate, but Aeron was different. Pain started to throb all over his body as the level up process sped to mere seconds, this was because of his skill [Level Up (Anomalous)].
This time he had realized the drawback of his skill, right now he could consolidate his level quickly even though it normally took an hour to do so. But he already felt a slight pain, if he was in a higher stage then wouldn't he collapse from the pain? It seemed like the rumor he heard about anomalous skills were true, unlike other skills, anomalous skills were said to be "a blessing and a curse" he didn't know much about it yet.  
Titans were said to be normal beasts who possessed an anomalous skill for endless growth, but the catch was that it had to maintain enough energy for its size, if it didn't then it would start to weaken and die, this was why Titans lorded among vast territories, it would hibernate a lot when it reached a certain size to save energy and let its territory grow abundant before it feasted again.
The pain on his hand also disappeared as he noticed that the wound had already scabbed. This was also a side effect of the sudden consolidation which he thought was a welcome addition. This was similar to what happens in games, when a character levels up, the HP and MP would regenerate.
'Maybe this skill did imitate the concept but it's still limited to a certain point' he thought, this was because his mana didn't feel like it had been regenerated. Still, skills didn't have an explanation, you just knew upon activation.
"Let's rest for a bit"
Aeron saw that it was already noon, so they ate for a bit and stopped to rest. He also looked at his status plate.

There weren't a lot of changes, only his level and pet limit increased by 1, one of Arthur's skill also activated. This was all he had achieved in a month, although this wasn't very impressive it was still enough for him.
'so it's already been a month since I've arrived huh' Aeron thought.
As they finished resting, they started to set off again, they combed through the whole southwestern part of the forest, most fights were given to Arthur as he was one level away to a High-Grade beast, Arthur had also relayed to him that his subordinates would never exceed his level, but in turn they would level up faster than normal.
Aeron also fought to familiarize himself more and gain a bit of mana from his foes, jungle cats were still too much, but jungle dogs were already easier to handle for him. The first jungle dog had been the smartest one he encountered, there were also jungle monkeys, but it seemed Arthur was a bit picky with his direct subordinates. Though the monkeys still followed Arthur but not through his skills, jungle monkeys were as strong as jungle dogs but are more agile, still they were at most level 3.
After clearing the southwestern part of the forest Aeron decided to call it a day, he went back and also checked the scented grass, they had already grown and looked like normal grass. He had planted them yesterday on every corner of the wall as well as inside the wall.
They didn't bring any corpse as there weren't any High-Grade Beasts among those that they killed. Aeron's thought also wandered around the wolf king, to say he had no thoughts of taming it would be a lie, just like Arthur, it must still be an infant and a Mid-Grade Beast while it was still less than a year old. Of course, this was only his thoughts, maybe if he got a bit stronger and Arthur leveled up to a High-Grade Beast then he would maybe sneak a peek at the young wolf king.
Howl!!!
It seems the wolves have started to get nearer, it was a good thing he already had the scented grass, else he would be in more danger. At first, he wanted to return to the City of Una, but he would fail the task, this was probably the reason why the rewards were very generous. He had a memory of his parents talking about how hard it was to get merit points, and yet he could earn 100 per month, he already had enough food here for 4 months, and if in 3 months there were no supplies delivered then he would just leave this place immediately.
As he slept, he dreamed of his past life, the comfort and his family although hazy made him sad. He had stayed here for a month, but his memory of his original life spanned for 20 something years. His dreams had always been like this since he got here, his senses were always on the high. Thoughts like being ripped to shreds by some monster had always haunted him, the comparison would sometimes make him homesick.
But he had always reminded himself that this was his new life, he also had parents here. He also had to fulfill the original's wishes of being a Tamer the Ironbull Family would respect, for his parents and the original. At the least he had his pets to accompany him, if it were any Profession then maybe he would've already been devoured by sadness then depression. Arthur was not a human being but he felt more like one, he was true and Aeron knew because he could feel it too. So, he had to grow stronger, not just for his family, or the original, but because he also wanted to enjoy his new life.
Morning came, and Aeron started to get ready again, this time they were to continue the exploration to the southern part of the forest. This was a bit more dangerous than yesterday because Aeron didn't know whether there were High-Grade Beasts there or not.
They started off just like yesterday, all the kills were given to Arthur. There had been disputes into this type of leveling style since this didn't normally work, weakening the enemy before letting others finish them off. Others have tried but only Tamers or Professions with familiars could do this, it was because the pets/familiars were considered as the part of their strength, unlike when other High-Level Professional intentionally weakens the beasts to let other finish it. This was unknown whether it was the work of another Rules of Mana or the work of the Status Plate.
Because Aeron and his pets were more familiar with battling, they cleared the whole southern part quicker. This time they finished about two hours after noon, Aeron decided not to proceed to the southeastern part of the forest, as he had found 2 wooden essence which could be used to make a bow, the vine essence used for the bow string was easier to find. Creating the bow would take half a day of training the wood essence, he could also let the silver monkeys maintain the mana supply after the wood essence was made into bow forms, but at the same time he would lose the 2 silver monkeys for tomorrows exploration.
Aeron had decided to go to the three hills tomorrow instead to dig up some ore essence, hopefully there would be some, so he could make more spears to fully arm his monkey army. After he made his plans, Aeron made the monkeys collect fruit from the trees in the explored areas, before he ended the exploration.
Aeron proceeded to make some arrows with Arthur and the silver monkeys, it took about an hour to make one, so they were able to make a total of 10 arrows after 2 hours. This was one of the reasons why he chose an area with a forest, unlike the City of Isa where the forests were already claimed by powerful individuals or families, here he could have a whole forest full of resources for himself. After Aeron finished crafting, he did some light training with Arthur and let the other monkeys spar with each other. After his training and meditation, he quickly fell asleep.
Morning quickly came and he left two silver monkeys inside the house to supply mana for training the bows. Aeron set off with the rest of the monkeys, this time he brought spirit with him. They quickly made it to the hills and started digging. A few hours past and Aeron already had a number of rock essence, and three pieces of iron essence.
When noon came, they rested for a bit while eating some fruits. Continuing with their mining activity, Aeron had already collected 10 iron essence before he noticed the sky turning dark. Aeron quickly had the monkeys stop then journey back immediately. Unlike in the past, there might be wolves wandering near here. He wanted to unsummon all the monkeys while he hurried back with spirit.
Howl!! Howl!!
"Arthur, assemble the monkeys"
Aeron ordered, he only saw about twenty wolves, if they sped up, they would be able to go back to the house.
"Let's go!" Aeron said as he led the monkeys back, he could unsummon them all but the weapons would be left behind, wolves were very vengeful beasts. If he left weapons behind, they would destroy it in frustration.
Howl!!
The wolves started to charge at them, if they continue their current path then the wolves would meet them halfway.
"Kii!!" Arthur suddenly gestured to the himself and the 4 silver monkeys, at this time Aeron had already unsummoned then summoned Gwaine and Percival for backup.
"Are you sure?" Aeron asked, he saw no Mid-Grade Beast among the pack, so he was sure Arthur and his silver monkeys would be able to handle the whole pack. But that was not the problem and the reason they were running.
"Ki!" Arthur nodded as it separated from the group along with the four silver monkeys, or his Silver Knights as Aeron liked to call them sometimes.  
Seeing the 5 monkeys approaching them, the wolf pack changed direction to meet them.
woosh! woosh! woosh! woosh! woosh!
Four silver and one golden staff with sharp ends flew through the sky, each pierced a wolf down to the ground before disappearing. The golden and silver staffs reappeared on the monkey's hands as they clashed with the wolves.
Clash!!
Each monkey was coated with armor as they swept through the whole pack, yelping sounds could be heard each time the staffs swept through the wolves.
HOWL!!
The alpha made its last howl of despair as a golden staff crushed its skull.

After his death from an epidemic, Aeron finds himself transferred to another world. 

A world unlike his own, a vast world filled with beasts, races, and mystery. 

Humanity as a foreign race strives to survive in the world of Gaia, building cities to expand and defend, bringing humanity to a new era of strength. 

Aeron now in a new world, with a new family, and a new profession as Tamer, must strive to become stronger.

Zhang Lisheng had never come so close to death in his life. At this moment, it was unknown whether it was because of his instinct of being extra calm when encountering desperate situations or if it was the battle instinct that came with becoming a Rank 1 Wizard that his mind did not panic at all. On the contrary, he was extraordinarily awake when he snapped out of the illusional feeling of having everything under control earlier.
He instinctively blocked the leopard's huge mouth with both of his hands while continuously chanting an incantation from his mouth to get his wizard gu to retaliate.
Unfortunately, human movements were far behind the agility of a leopard. Before Zhang Lisheng could block the leopard's mouth with his hands, he could already feel its sharp teeth piercing his flesh.
However, right at that moment, his wizard gu, Qing Hong, leaped hard from the jungle ground with its thousands of legs and got into the leopard's mouth before it could do anything to Zhang Lisheng.
The leopard had given up attacking its prey further as its tongue was bitten by Qing Hong's venomous teeth. The leopard began to struggle on the jungle ground while roaring as it proceeded to bite into the venomous worm's body that was left outside its mouth.
However, an adult leopard was only over thirty kilograms. As soon as its head was poisoned, its resistance would be even poorer than a captive livestock.
Four to five seconds later, there was black and putrid blood coming out of the corner of the terrifying jungle hunter's mouth. It had lost its life. Meanwhile, the wizard gu that killed it had its body bitten in half by the leopard's sharp teeth.
Fortunately, wild beasts had rich blood. After killing the leopard, Qing Hong moved its long body and crawled into the leopard's mouth. The leopard's carcass began to sink, and soon, it was left with only rotten skin and bones.
