sorry because I dropped this novel, when I read this original novel I knew that I was going the wrong way, so I dropped this novel and made another if I had the chance.

With final exams looming closer Yukio firmly pushed the scandal aside. Besides, apart from their English teacher most of the school staff had been surprisingly quiet about Urufu's and Kuri's rumoured night-time activities.
Now he sat in the inner room of the Stockholm Haven café which had been fully converted into their new club-room just in time for the cessation of all club activities in preparation of their exams.
Noriko sat together with Kuri going through math problems with the famous model turned slut. By their side Sango-chan and Kyoko ran through the same problems but at a distinctly higher pace and without Noriko's help.
"And this one?" Ryu asked from Yukio's right.
"Same. Look, if you replace the numbers with letters it's a lot easier to detect the pattern," Urufu said.
"Pattern?" That was Nori-kun, and Yukio noted how another two club-members congregated around them to follow Urufu's explanation.
'Now this is just hysterically funny,' Yukio thought. Urufu the flunky teaching math. 'But he's not really a flunky is he? Didn't he have a college exam from engineering?'
"Yes, by token substitution you'll be able to immediately identify equalities on both sides and remove them. Clears the real problem from excess data. See the pattern now?" Urufu said and crossed out almost a third of the information on the whiteboard.
Yukio watched him leave the white-board and walk over to the one where another group were struggling with English. Despite bombing that topic on his midterms virtually every club-member knew his English knowledge was superior to what any teacher at school could muster.
'And I think you have a better grasp of Japanese history than I do by now. What kind of study monster are you?'
Truth be told the only thing that kept Urufu from popping up on the wall was his written Japanese. By now Yukio recognised the difference when Urufu spoke about or listened to the material they had to study compared to when he was forced to rely on his reading skills.
'And you're closing that gap as well. It's scary how much better you are at reading and writing now.'
Kuri was the same. Even though she paled in comparison to Urufu, her Japanese had improved by huge strides since summer. That realisation made Yukio a bit uncomfortable. He hadn't known how important the preferred language was for grading other subjects.
'Would I look like an idiot if I had to go to school abroad? Or even Noriko?' Yukio pushed the last thought away. Noriko failing exams was ludicrous. She was one of the best freshmen at Himekaizen after all, with results that probably placed Todai within reach of her aspirations.
In the background he heard Urufu's strangely melodic explanation when he gave examples in Japanese for the English text they were analysing. Whenever he read a sentence aloud for the group to hear the correct pronunciation Kuri interrupted him with a laugh and read it twice. As far as Yukio understood she delivered one version in some kind of British English and then in American English.
Urufu grimaced but never protested. Instead he told his group they should listen to Kuri because her spoken English far surpassed his.
"How good is she?" Yukio shouted when he tired of Urufu belittling himself.
Everyone by the whiteboard turned, and Yukio saw Kuri glance at Urufu rather than the one to blame for the interruption.
"Depends," Urufu said. "As for pronunciation she bulldozes right over me. There's no comparison."
"Depends?" Kuri said to test the waters.
"Well, I'd guess your vocabulary is between half to two thirds of mine. What's your take?"
"Spoken, close to ten thousand words," Kuri suggested and grinned.
"Damn! You're just as good as I suspected."
"And you? Native level is around fifteen thousand."
"Native college level, yeah. I'm above that average."
Kuri's eyebrows shot up. "What kind of vocabulary do you have?"
"The tests couldn't measure above sixteen thousand, so I don't really know."
Kuri palmed her face. "He killed the test. Why am I not surprised?"
"What tests?" Sango-chan asked.
Both Kuri and Yukio shot Urufu warning glares.
"There were some… ah..." Then Urufu must have caught up with the looks he got from the friends who knew about his first life. "Ah, there are proficiency tests, and I took a few before moving here," he finished.
'You took a few before moving here. Well that's one way of expressing it.'
"You took a few tests at college level?"
'You're not out of the woods yet. Think, think!'
It was painfully visible how Urufu tried to come up with a plausible explanation, but in the end he lit up in a bright grin. "I like programming, and most of the literature is in English, so I needed to learn it to read the books."
That had to suffice, and from what Urufu had said earlier it partially explained his knowledge of math.
"But you failed your midterms," came a less than helpful comment from Nori-kun.
Urufu's face clouded over. "I didn't in Sweden," he said in a subdued voice.
"Huh?" That was Nori-kun again.
"Guys," Kuri said. "Here in Japan we're graded on how well we can express our English knowledge in Japanese, but neither Ulf nor I are Japanese. When we translate we usually translate from English to Swedish in our heads."
'And that's a lie,' Yukio thought. 'You both told me you don't translate at all any longer.' Then it struck him why Urufu had lived through such problems with his Japanese, and a moment later Yukio understood how Urufu's spoken Japanese had developed so insanely fast the last months. 'You've stopped translating Japanese as well!'
With that line of thought something clicked inside his head. Suddenly Urufu's explanation of learning models made sense. 'Learn the rules, break the rules, write the rules' Urufu used to say when he tried to describe what he called analytic-synthetic learning or reverse triple loop learning.

If you were transported from this world to another almost identical.

Yu Zhe's face showed some amusement as he said, "Actually, this isn't the first time I've seen something like this. There was once a student who annoyed Young Master Jie and was expelled. Upon hearing this, Mu Xiaoxiao paused.

Actually, it had already been ten minutes into class!
The English teacher tightened his jaw. He was in a dilemma — last time, he had lost face to Mu Xiaoxiao and realized just how good her English was. He couldn't scold her on the lines of getting bad results from not listening in class, could he?

Yu Zhe flashed a glance at Mu Xiaoxiao. "See, the teacher only dares to bully you. No matter how much I disrupt the class, he will pretend that nothing has happened," he said.

Ling Yun's gaze caused Cao Shanshan to look down at her chest. She felt embarrassed yet joyous at the same time. She then bit her lower lip and said, "You only took leave for the morning lessons, yet you did not come for the lessons after those. Cao Shanshan looked at Ling Yun and raised an eyebrow. She asked in a tone of disbelief, "Really?"
Ling Yun gave her an expression that basically said 'duh', as he could not be bothered to answer her question.

Two periods of lessons quickly passed, and the next lesson was about to start.
As the bell rang to signal the start of the next period, Kong Xiuru, with her long hair draped on her shoulders, entered the class. She was wearing a snow-white shirt, a black office skirt, translucent skin colored stockings and a pair of white high heels. She also had a stern expression plastered on her beautiful face.
Cao Shanshan could not help herself but to look at Ling Yun and feel worried for him.
After Teacher Kong entered the class, she passed a stack of English test papers to two female students to distribute to the class. She followed that up by telling the students, "For the next two periods, everyone will be attempting this test paper."
After she had finished delivering her instructions, Teacher Kong lightly coughed and signaled towards Ling Yun. She said, "Ling Yun, come outside with me for a bit. Bring volume one of your English textbook as well."
Ling Yun hurriedly scoured through his belongings to find the English textbook. At this point, Ling Yun had already memorized almost all of his History, Geography and Politics notes. He had even revised Chinese and Mathematics already! However, he had not even touched English. Throughout all of the studying he had done, he had not even bothered to look at any English notes. He had long forgotten where he had put volume one of his English textbook!
Seeing his predicament, Cao Shanshan immediately took her English textbook out and passed it to Ling Yun. She said, "You can use mine first."
"Thanks!" Ling Yun exclaimed as a smile appeared on his face. He then proceeded to squeeze behind Cao Shanshan's seat to walk towards the door. Cao Shanshan felt the bulge between Ling Yun's thighs, and her heart started to pound. Her ears also got red and hot.
Kong Xiuru was already outside the classroom. Ling Yun soon followed.
"Come with me!" Kong Xiuru ordered. Seeing Ling Yun walk out of the classroom, she decided that she would not bother with pleasantries and immediately ordered him to follow her.
Kong Xiuru was silent. Ling Yun naturally followed suit. With the textbook in hand, Ling Yun could only follow Teacher Kong as she went.
After walking for quite a distance, Ling Yun sensed something was off. He then asked, "Teacher Kong, where might we be going?"
Kong Xiuru flatly replied, "To my dormitory."
Ling Yun started to sweat profusely all of a sudden. He thought to himself. My God… You're clad in such sexy clothes, and you're bringing me back to your dormitory at this late hour? I'm not mentally prepared for this…
Ling Yun stopped in his tracks. He then asked again, "About that… Teacher Kong, what are we going back to your dormitory for?"
Kong Xiuru furrowed her eyebrows and replied flatly, "To give you some revision. If we go to the English Department's office, we would disturb the other teachers' work."

Upon reaching the fifth floor, Kong Xiuru let Ling Yun into her dormitory.
Kong Xiuru was among the most well respected and capable teachers in Qingshui High. Therefore, her dormitory was rather large in size despite being for one person only.
The whole apartment was about a hundred and twenty square feet big. With three rooms, two halls, a kitchen, and a bathroom, it was basically a complete household. Aside from having no objects belonging to men, it could be said that the dormitory did not lack anything.
Because there were three rooms and only one person living there, Kong Xiuru had decided to convert one of the rooms into a study room of sorts, to use as a place to work while at home.
The room was clean, neat, quiet, tidy, comfortable and cozy. Upon entering, Ling Yun felt extremely impressed. His impression of Kong Xiuru improved by quite a fair bit.
"Come here!" Kong Xiuru ordered. She still had a strict expression on her face. Her expression did not change even after she had returned to her dormitory.
Kong Xiuru decided to cut to the chase. She asked, "Ling Yun, why did you apply for leave today?"
Ling Yun braced himself. He put on a serious expression and said, "Teacher, I'm feeling rather unwell. This could be because I've lost so much weight in such a short period of time. That's why I didn't come to school earlier."
This was just an excuse thought up by Ling Yun on the spot, but it proved to be extremely persuasive. Kong Xiuru took a deep breath and explained, "The final exams are coming. Even if you are in a hurry to lose weight, you should still focus on keeping yourself healthy. If not, it'll affect your performance. It'll be too late for regrets then."
"Yes, Teacher! I got it. Thank you." Ling Yun responded. Although Kong Xiuru had a stern expression on her face, her words carried genuine care and concern for Ling Yun. This made Ling Yun genuinely thankful for her words.

For the alphabet, Kong Xiuru only needed to go through it once. Ling Yun had no problem listening, reading, and writing it. He even got their pronunciations down to perfection!
His proficiency was so immense that his handwriting for English was basically a carbon copy of what was printed out in the textbook. It did not matter whether the words were in capital letters or small letters, they were all perfectly written!
Kong Xiuru thought to herself. This is basically a perfect reproduction of whatever has been printed in the textbook!
Kong Xiuru still found it hard to believe that Ling Yun's learning ability was so prodigious. She jumbled up the order of the words and let Ling Yun read them again. He then proceeded to read them with startling accuracy and pronunciation. Not a flaw could be found in his reading!
Kong Xiuru was shocked, to say the least. She then proceeded to teach Ling Yun the forty-eight phonetic symbols of English. The phonetic symbols were a vital part of English and if Ling Yun was able to learn them, he would be able to read English by himself without any problems.
Kong Xiuru was in disbelief at how Ling Yun managed to learn everything after just one explanation and attempt. The phonetic symbols were no exception. Just like the alphabet, she only needed to go through them once for Ling Yun to completely grasp everything.
Kong Xiuru then flipped to the later pages of the textbook. She wanted to expose Ling Yun to new words such as 'Christmas', the months from 'January' to 'December', and other phrases such as greetings which were more complex than just simply the alphabet. Ling Yun then proceeded to recite everything at a glance, without even taking time to hesitate about the difficult words and phrases.
Kong Xiuru was left speechless. Her student was too incredible! Ling Yun was not just a genius, he was a monster!
Kong Xiuru could not maintain her stoic expression for any longer. She proceeded to give Ling Yun half an hour to memorize some vocabulary.
After learning the alphabet and phonetics, the most important part was vocabulary. In English examinations, the wider one's vocabulary, the more advantageous it would be. It was similar to learning Chinese!
Kong Xiuru did not want to disturb Ling Yun, therefore she went to pour Ling Yun a cup of water. She placed the cup beside him and went out to brainstorm about what method she could use to most effectively educate Ling Yun.
Kong Xiuru had never even heard of such a genius in school, let alone seen one. However, she then began suspecting whether Ling Yun had been hiding his great talent from everyone for the past three years.
After half an hour, which marked the end of the first half of the English period, Kong Xiuru re-entered her study room to get Ling Yun to stop memorizing the vocabulary.
She could not hold her stoic expression anymore as she broke out into a rare, but beautiful small smile.
"How's it going? How much do you remember?" Kong Xiuru asked, full of expectation. Her expression was much like that of a young girl proclaiming her love for a boy for the first time. It showed great nervousness and expectation.
Ling Yun smiled as he said, "There was too little time. I could only memorize everything from the junior high textbook to the Grade 10 textbook…"
"What?! You've memorized everything?! You… you can read it all?" Kong Xiuru exclaimed.
Given Ling Yun's capability, if he was given another two periods worth of time, he would be able to memorize the entire high school syllabus' worth of vocabulary!
Ling Yun was rather pleased with himself. He gave Kong Xiuru a small grin as he said, "Listening, reading, speaking and writing, all of them should not be a problem now. Teacher, if you don't believe me, you can give me a test right now to confirm it!

Arriving home, I took off my shoes and walked in.

It's been a while I smell the fragrant aroma and its kind of distracting me from reading.

Truthfully, It's not exactly Mervin's idea to cook these, it was Lee's idea.

To Lee, today was a special occasion, His son, Andy finally becomes a little bit sensible and obedient. More importantly, he's diligently studying. Of course, he wanted to celebrate it.

Closing the television of his favorite channel with the remote control, Lee sat at the table and eat with his family.

Usually, he would bring his food to the sofa and eat it there while watching television but since everyone gathered today he didn't want to ruin this special occasion.

Three of us ate quietly but happily.

Our family barely talked with each other, but that doesn't mean that we're not that close.

It just that we didn't use mouth to communicate especially while we're eating.

Eating while talking is rude, which is why we don't usually talk while eating. We give each other food, fetching a chicken a drop it at their plate. That is how we show our warmth.

After dinner, I took a bath and then sat down on the sofa with my father for a little while. Only after that, I went to sleep as it was quite late already.

Today was a great day...

I wonder how tomorrow will turn out.

The next morning arrived, I was dragged by Mervin to the table again.

I guess being dragged every morning wasn't that bad.

I didn't need to walk and I will magically arrive at the table.

As usual, after breakfast, my brother left to work and I go to school by myself.

The school day starts again.

Arriving at school, without hesitation, I approached Kervin even though he's being surrounded by the girls.

I have made up my mind! I won't hesitate anymore!

I bowed deeply at Kervin and apologized.

Afterward, I returned to my seat as though nothing happened.

This was something I should've done earlier but for some reason... I'm not feeling well after doing that.

It was Mr.Ridwan's class, as expected of him, his class wasn't that boring.

I start to like him a lot, as a student.

The next class was the most boring of all, it's English, taught by a peculiar looking teacher named, Mr.Robin.

His face looked very similar to western people despite he's from Indonesia. Even his name sounded very English.

Looking back, the most interesting class would be the English Class as learning English allows me to communicate with other people for the games that I played.

At that time, the English subject easily became the only subject that I'm interested in and best at.

Now, I'm learning it again, it became the most boring class. 

I mean, right now we're talking about toys, fruits, and vegetable names in English.

Sigh*

"Andy, you look bored. How about answering question number five for me?"

Mr.Robin speaks with English slowly and carefully hoping that I could understand him. He even used hand gestures to help me.

While I was complaining of how easy the subject was, Mr.Robin was expecting me to answer him.

'...As if he could understand what I'm saying. What am I thinking?'

As Mr.Robin wanted to speak again but this time in Bahasa Indonesia, before he could, I already answered his question.

"Carl is reading storybooks."

'Eh? He understood what I said?'

"Can you explain why did you answer 'is' instead of 'are' or 'am'?"

I'll just explain it in the simplest term to not create any suspicion.

"Carl is a boy, which means that the 'subject' in this sentence is a 'He', so the proper 'To Be', that needs to be used in this sentence is obviously an 'is'."

'What?!!?'

'He answered my question again! This time in his own sentence and everything was in English!'

Mr.Robin was a peculiar one, he didn't know that I'm the worst child in the class so he didn't suspect a thing of why I could answer his question.

After all under proper guidance no matter how young, a kid should be able to understand his basic questions.

I guess he won't know since in his eyes I always paid attention in his class but today, I didn't because I'm not that kid anymore.

"Excellent Job!"

"Mr.Andy, I didn't know that you're English was this good before!"

Only at this moment, I realized I screwed up.

I wanted to facepalm myself but currently, everyone is looking at me. It would be weird if I facepalm right now.

I just spoke a full English sentence which probably understood by Mr.Robin himself. I bet that even the smartest kid, Kervin, didn't understand fully what I'm saying.

'What's with him!?'

'Why did he suddenly became this good in English?'

'I should be able to understand him but he spoke too fast.'

'Is this why he apologized just now?'

'It was to declare that he would take the number one spot from me?'

Kervin misunderstood Andy's good intentions and create a bigger hatred between him and Kervin.

Right now, he wished that he could also boast his English but he can't. He admits his loss this time, it's the truth he's not as good as Andy in English but he should be able to defeat him in other subjects, right?

The class soon ended, it was finally break-time.

When the class ended many approached Andy for the first time, they were very impressed by Andy's English. 

Within these few days, Andy was attracting other students more than ever. He always correctly answer the teacher's questions and today he could even answer Mr.Robin's question!

Right now, they can't hold back anymore. They want to talk to Andy.

"Andy! Where did you study English, I want to follow you. Maybe my English could be as good as you."

"Yeah, tell us! Also, your maths tuition, Who's teaching you? I need to meet the teacher, to be able to turn you into this good, he should be able to teach me too."
