Before answering Leon, James glanced at Ava who was supporting devastated Trisha and lazily said " temporary glitch everything is fine and thanks for paying the medical bill by the way. "
" I will take your word for it, I hope there will be no further glitch's " said Leon.

" We did but situations changed, it's worth more than what we discussed before, we will have to reconsider the agreement before. " said Leon.

Ace picked up the phone, it was his grandmother calling, surprising, not because it was on a Sunday morning, but because it was her calling him, not the other way around.
"Hello Samantha, good morning"
"Good morning to you too, how are things going around there?",  'Ah, she wants to know how the meetings went', Ace thought, thinking of the best way to respond
"Well, for the most part, I made a deal with Lucrum, and as you know, they asked for a meeting. However, as you are probably aware, things with Epsilon did not go as well, she thought I was just a vulnerable kid and tried to blackmail me."
"How did it go?", there was myrrh in her voice, she obviously knew how it went, but she wanted him to tell her, to judge him on what emotions he would display during his response.
"Well, I destroyed her life, and Epsilon knows it, they will now have to try harder, and of course, I will drive an even harder bargain, they will not be happy."
"Good. I am proud of you.", and she hung up
Ace let out a sigh of relief, he knew he had passed her test, he would not even be surprised if she was the one that leaked the info, just as a way to see whether he would comply to her demands, and buckle under pressure.
What Ace did not know, however, was that on the other side of the line, Samantha and Veronica were smiling, happy with how fast and well he had grown.
Ace had a pretty busy day ahead of him, he would have to sort through all his notifications, but luckily, he had a plan to deal with it. There was a reason other than hacking as to why he had wanted to learn how to write programs and code in general. He had another project, this one of great importance, that he had wanted to begin working on since forever. He was going to build his own A.I.
He did not want a stupid one, though, he was going to build a self-learning A.I. A monster that only he would be able to control. He would feed it all the information he could find, on anything, and then have it create a schedule for his life, one that would help him optimise his time to the maximum, without becoming boring or repetitive.
He had built it himself, truthfully, the premise of it was simple, the problem was that it required expensive technology for it to truly shine, it would have to be hooked to a high-speed connection that would allow it to download vast quantities of data in a short time. He had, of course, asked for help from a few of his grandmother's employees. He had promised them that he would share the source code with them. Of course, only before asking his grandmother. 
She was fine with it, they would remain loyal to her no matter what, and having one for the whole group would increase their capabilities by a large margin. Of course, she also knew they would not share the source code themselves since it would create security threats if they did so.
And it was in this way that Ace built Alfred. Ace had not actually chosen the name, the A.I. had, it had for some reason developed an admiration for the resourceful butler, and it seemed that it inspired to be the same. He had fed it all types of information, he had begun with defence protocols it could put in place to protect itself, Ace had put some of his own, but the A.I. would be able to build its own, and update them as it was needed. He had then made it learn all about video games, streaming and social media. It had, for some reason, also learnt about pop-culture, and in one night, had learnt all the internet culture had to offer.
The A.I. that was now hooked all over the house, connected by speakers that lined all over the room to the supercomputer Ace had built in a room adjacent to his. He asked it to sort through all messages on his accounts, and once it had done so, give the correct and appropriate responses. It knew that if anything interesting came up, it - well he, would have to inform Ace.
In this way, his work for the day was sorted, and he could go relax and do his own thing. He caught up on a few novels, his enhanced brain could now read at extreme speeds, and looked through some advanced etiquette guides Samantha had sent him. He memorised all the information, as he always did, and sent a message to his grandmother that he had finished. She seemed to find it important that he learnt all about various topics, so she sent him guides, books and videos on all sorts of things. Ace, wanting to oblige, ensured he committed them to memory. 
It was in this way that he had learnt all sorts of interesting things, he had no idea whether they would ever be of any use to his grandmother, they probably would. To his surprise, his grandmother answered fast, however, it was only a one-word reply: [Languages]. Ace laughed, his grandmother had realised that his brain seemed to have no limit, so she decided to challenge Ace as much as she could. There was a link to a file in another message. As Ace clicked on it, he groaned, his free time would be cut in half. His grandmother wanted him to dominate all the languages she considered 'important', meaning, the ones that would open the most doors for him. This included German, Spanish, French, Arabic, Mandarin, Korean and Japanese. She told him that if needed, she would send a tutor to teach him, to which he replied: [No.]. If anyone else found out about his learning speed, there would be a problem.
In true Goldsign fashion, she wanted him to learn them all. Ace was of course already on it, he had always thought it would be wonderful to travel to various places and enjoy them to their fullest, so in his downtime (downtime = lesson time), he had begun learning various languages. He could speak, French, Italian and Spanish, and was finishing up with German. Finishing up meant that he now had the level of a Native, and all he had to do was learn the slang that was more commonly used. However, he would have no problem conducting a deal. 
As with all languages, he had minimized the accent by listening to genuine natives speak the language and simply working to learn how to mimic their accent. This allowed him to have a seamless accent, which would not separate him from any native. After he finished up with German, he would move on to Mandarin, then to Japanese and Korean. He would finish with Arabic. Once he did that, he wanted to keep learning languages, but whatever else caught his fancy would take precedence.
This way, he could maximise his ability to learn, while also motivating himself with something that would be truly fun. Especially considering his trip to Vienna, his German would be useful there, and meeting people from around the world would mean he could 'practise' speaking the languages he had learnt.

After getting dressed, Ace got in the car that took him to Sophie's house, she had said to meet him at 10, which had left him a lot of time to do his own thing, considering he had woken up at 5 in the morning, and she lived only 10 minutes away. When he got there, it was 9:55, and he was led through the main house to a 'small' one in the garden, it was an expanse where it seemed that the family met their guests, it was a massive open space, with decor tastefully placed around the room. It did not give out a sense of opulence, but you knew the people that owned it were rich nevertheless. How rich, depended on how much you looked, one could spot the luxurious billiards table or the massive 8k televisions displayed around the room. Ace, however, noticed the book stand, It was not as big or noticeable as the other pieces, but was sure as hell worth a lot more. Every book there, seemed to be expensive, Ace assumed that none of them had actually been read, but the rare collection caught his eye nevertheless.
"Like them?", Sophie came up from behind him, giving him a hug which he turned around and reciprocated. She was dressed in a yellow flowery dress that suited her quite well.
"Yeah. These are amazing, some of these are worth more than what people make in a lifetime.", Ace heard the tinge of admiration in his own voice, but did not mind it. If anything, it would only give Sophie the false impression that she could use these books as a bargaining chip. She could of course, but if Ace wanted, he could get his Grandmother to gift him an even greater collection than this. Money was not a problem, and as of right now, connections were not either.
"Hmmm, well, the others are not here yet, but I can give you a tour if you want", 'fashionably' late, of course, Ace detested such a construct, but he understood that it was merely a way for someone to feel wanted.
"Sure let's go."

"Wow, Haley is that you?" Jason looked up seemingly excited. 

I smiled widely and ran up to hug him. He's 6'0 so it made hugging him difficult but I didn't mind. 

He smiled at me as well and hugged me tightly. His arms seemed longer than they use to. He could easily engulf me in his arms. His smell brought me back to the old days. The comforting smell that only he could hold. 

Memories flashed into my mind and I was taken to the day before my 18th birthday. Just after Zhang Yong left.

At this point Jason and I weren't very close as he had just transferred from Korea and couldn't speak chinese. But I had always loved to learn languages so I already knew korean, english, mandarin, cantonese, and japanese by then.

I was crying on the rooftop of my high school. Sulking over the fact that Zhang Yong left me all alone. I can still remember the day clearly.It was February so it was a bit chilly but honestly I didn't mind. The skies were clear despite the recent blizzard. It would've been a perfect day in my book since I like it to be slightly colder than warmer. 

Since no one except outcasts from dramas come up to the rooftop I decided it would be a prefect place. Not because I wanted to jump off or anything I wasn't that dumb. 

I heard rustling behind me and a kid with black hair and blue eyes walked up to me. I looked up at him and could easily tell he was Asian/American. He looked at me for a while before I spoke. 

I wiped my tears and stood up. As I was always tall it shocked me a bit that he was taller than me. Not many people were so he must be new. 

"What do you want. Never seen a pretty girl cry?" 

I walked away angry. I wasn't actually mad at him. I was just reflecting my anger on to him. 

He grabbed my wrist and turned me around (as a classic male lead would). As I was about to yell at him. He suddenly hugged me. My face was buried in his chest so I couldn't speak and since he was holding my head and upper back I couldn't move away. 

To be honest though I didn't want to. It was the first time I had felt safe. I wanted to feel okay and I felt that. 

I cried in his embrace and he just held me while gently stroking my head. 

When the bell rang and I stopped crying he pulled back. 

"괜찮아?"(Are you okay?), he seemed to realize he was speaking in the wrong language and tried to say the same phrase but in mandarin. 

He looked utterly confused. I laughed a little a replied in korean. 

"Yes, thank you.", he just looked back at me and smiled. 

Not shocked about the fact that I could speak korean.

I came back to reality after thinking about the first encounter with my one and only best friend. 

He moved away 2 years after that day to study in the U.S. We didn't get to stay in contact but he's one of the few people I knew would come back. 

I looked back up at him after pulling away from the hug. There was a lot I had to tell him about.

Or perhaps its teacher was from Yuzhou… It was Lu Shu's first time to encounter such an incident. Back then, the Class A Blood Devil was able to speak Mandarin Chinese because it could extract information directly from human blood. Lu Shu felt it was particularly odd.
Honestly speaking, this lizard's accent made it seem more down-to-earth than the blood devil…

"Too late!" Lu Shu laughed coldly and took out a small folding stool from his Seal of Lands. Then, he sat down and watched as the giant lizard was completely digested by the divine water. What a great life, thought Lu Shu. Besides more powerful divine water, he had earned so many distress points too.
In the gruesome underground cavern, Lu Shu was not afraid at all. Instead, he had a sudden craving for stinky tofu…

At around 12.15pm, Linda and Fein reached the the restaurant, Doux et Epící. Linda and Fein were escorted to the room they booked. The room looked luxurious yet simple. The roses and lilies, the flower arrangement was superb. Linda really liked the room as she nodded her head while inspecting the room. She turned to Fein and said, "Fein, good job. I really like this room mainly that." She pointed towards the window.From the window, the rose garden could be seen and Linda was a big fan of roses. 

  Ten minutes later the client, Mr Merv, came together with his personal assistant, Mr Gal.
They kept on discussing about the project and both had their fill.At around 3pm, they finally finished discussing about the project and we're ready to return to their company's. 

  While Fein was driving the car,Linda couldn't help but ask Fein, "Where did you learn to drive? "

Fein, "Lady,  I learned to drive from my dad. "

Linda inquired, "When did you start to drive? "

Fein, "Around..... Ahhhhhh... When I was twelve."

  Linda guessed that. Linda didn't ask anything anymore and went back to her laptop. Whereas Fein was dieing of curiosity. Fein wondered why Lady asked him that.

Linda, "What time is it? "

Fein replied, "3.35pm exactly. "

Linda became frustrated, "Damn it!!!! I am late."

  They finally reached the company, Linda rushed out of the car but somehow she still looked very elegant. She took the elevator to her office, the moment the elevator opened she saw Mr Yemek standing with documents in his hand.Before Mr Yemek could even speak, Linda asked him, "Did Kacy come yet? "

Mr Yemek replied, "Yes. "

Linda became sad that she made Kacy wait for her. Linda then went in her office room and saw little Kacy sitting on the sofa, while leaning towards the table, to do her homework. Linda spoke which startled Kacy a bit, "Am I disturbing you,dear?"

  Kacy kept her right hand on her chest and patted her chest a few times, then she looked at Linda and said, "Don't scare me like that, LinLin. "

Linda, "OK. OK. Sure I won't scare you anymore. So what are you doing? "

Kacy replied, "I am doing my homework."

Linda, "Is it due tomorrow?"

Kacy, "Nope."

Linda "Then when is it due?"

Kacy, "Day after tomorrow. "

Linda looked at the admiring face of Kacy and asked, "Are you done with your homework?"

  Kacy nodded. For quite the time both of them chatted about fashion trends, viral makeup videos, trendy foods. This was the thing Mr Yemek saw when he came into the room. Mr Yemek cleared his throat to make his presence known. 

Linda, "What happened? "

Mr Yemek, "There are some new files."

Linda, "OK, keep them on the desk. "

Mr Yemek, "And Lady, you have a flight day after tomorrow. "

Linda, "Where am I going again? "

Mr Yemek, "To China, Lady. "

Linda, "Do we need a translator? "

Mr Yemek, "I don't think we need,  Lady knows mandarin ,so I guess we will have no problem."

Linda, "Come to think of it, don't you know Chinese, grumpygrumpy? "

Mr Yemek, "I do bit very little. "

Mr Yemek, "Yes? " He became confused at what she said. 

Linda, "Nothing. You can go. ...oh also tell Fein to come. I gotta ask him something. "

While Fein was worrying about what he did wrong, Kacy was packing her bag and Linda was helping free without any worry.

After Kacy went away then did Linda return to her sit and asked Fein to sit in front of her. He did what she asked for. Linda gave him a envelope and said, "No matter what you read in that letter, be calm. ok?"

Fein nodded. He opened the envelope and read the letter. He felt his heart stop and he stood up and was ready to run out when he heard Linda say, "You can try to go but that won't help your family. "

Fein started stammering while his eyes welled up, "But... bu.... but.... they will kill them if I don't go there. "

Linda, "They want money and I will give it to them, so be calm and listen to me. "

 Linda gave him another envelope, that was not addressed to him but to her. Fein got perplexed and asked, "What do I do with this envelope?"

Jez's vision faded to black and he woke up again, in his bed. His head hurt and his vision was obstructed by something, it was slowly coming into focus, It was a model of a Male human body, his body, it showed that he was fatigued and that there were light burns that covered his lower half from his earlier dip in the draft, it showed the process of healing and told him what stage it was in, but not directly, there were no words or pictures just whenever he focused on the model in the corner of his vision, the condition of his body instantly appeared in his mind. Jez then proceeded to scan through the new information, "This would be great if I could use any of it", he sighed, all of the information that was given to him was too basic, and he had no use of it, as he only understood the basic ideas of chemistry, physics, and anatomy. The math that he was taught was only marginally more advanced than the math he already learned, and learning more languages is pointless since he had never heard of English, Mandarin, German, or French.
But the gift did give him some goals, go to the mage academy and learn how to properly use magic, and hope he can get into a position where he can go hunting a lot so he can plunder more energy to gain more knowledge, after all, what he had now was only the beginning.
He did, however, have to go explain to the guard commander that he had completed his training and wanted to leave, he wanted to go back to his family and spend the rest of his time before going to the academy in hunting as it gave him good survival skills as well as gave him energy that could help Jake, and by extension himself, regain memories. He could already feel the unending "tests" the commander would give him.

"I heard Wing Chun was invented by a woman," Jin ignores what Ip Man commands. 

"That suits you just right. Ip Man, are you afraid of your wife?" Jin asks him with arrogance. 

Tony who was standing to the side watching this prideful Northerner spoke up for his master. 

Telling him in mandarin, "No men are afraid of their wives. There are only men who respect their wives."

The Northern martial artist was surprised a servant could speak mandarin, but hearing what was said was like some kind of laughable joke to his masculine-values. 

He looks to Mrs. Wing Sing saying to her, "Don't worry, Mrs. Ip, I won't beat him to death. If you're afraid he'll lose, I'll only use one hand. If that's not enough, I can do it with no hands." 

This time his words were truly making Mrs. Wing Sing angry. 

And she couldn't stand this unknown stranger who barged into their home. While the crowd is cheering for a fight.

"Fight With him, Master Ip! Beat him up!"

Jin continues to speak acting with dissatisfaction, "I'm so disappointed in Foshan. I can't believe it! So many martial artists but none of them good enough."

Mrs. Wing Sing tells the arrogant man off, "Shut up! You wouldn't even be able to stand a kick from my husband. Even his student Hui could easily defeat you." She motions to Tony with her head to fight him.

Tony takes a deep bow to Ip Man's wife, "I understand your order." 

She then quickly walks away from the scene. Leaving Ip Man and Tony nodding to each other in anticipation for the open thrill to fight. 

At this moment a group of men walked through the bushering crowd, in the front was the police captain Li and his men, followed by a group of injured martial art masters.

"What's going on here," Captain Li asks Ip Man, observing the tan Northerner in shagged brown ropes and his men in strange clothings. 

"You came at the right time," Ip Man says, "this place is too small. Please excuse us and go outside? And close the door on your way out."

Captain Li nods in agreement and whispers to Tony's ears, "You have to redeem our honor." 

Then telling his officers to move back the crowd from the room. Soon the living room only consists of Ip Man, Tony, and the other northerners. 

Ip Man looks to his student with the expression of 'Are you ready', and Tony nods back. 

As a teacher he was very relaxed about the result of this fight, because he's well aware of Tony's progress which is already only a small distance from walking through the final doorway. 

Testing him numerous times in the past years, each time with the secret amazement at Tony's insane learning speed. 

As a teacher there's not much more he can teach him, leaving only a few spots here and there to show him the way to a deeper philosophy hidden in Wing Chun. 

In the past whenever some martial arts master comes to their home Ip Man would let Tony watch from the side. Allowing him to grasp as many opportunities as possible to learn from a real fight.

When he was learning from his Master, Ip Man's teacher praised him as a rare martial arts talent that's only seen once every couple decades. 

To reach where he is at takes a combination of talent, hard work, and practical experience.

Normally to reach the Master level in martial arts, like Master Liao, would take from 15-20 years. 

At the lowest level with a lot of hard work and talent it would take someone 10 years. 

But the legendary Grandmaster level is a degree of total mastery over skills and understanding that might even be impossible to reach even in 30 years. 

And is the apex requiring diligence and large amounts of insights.

What surprises him is that Tony surpassed him in speed. Seeing him reaching his level of mastery only in 10 years. 

So that's why he has no qualms for his student to fight this arrogant martial artist.

Tony smoothly transitions into the Wing Chun fighting stance with his left hand extending closely from the elbow, "Wing Chun, Hui Liang."

The northerner Master Jin scoffs impolitely, "I really wanna see...How can a man fight like a woman."

Grinning a bit at this arrogance he replies, "When I defeat you. You will understand."

Master Jin salutes Tony and immediately goes into his fight stance with his right fist leading in front and the left fist behind. 

In running steps he starts throwing powerful punches toward Tony.

The fists that he deflects with his elbow were creating louds sounds as a result of Jin's immense strength.

Jin hits with both fists below to Tony's stomach but were pushed downwards without hitting him. 

Borrowing the gravity of Jin's body moving downwards he hits his fingers open palmed in Jin's throat.

Tasting the dense bones jagging into him, Jin pushes himself away backwards. 

Feeling the discomfort in his throat and beginning to go fight even harder.

Tony died once before in his former life and now he gets the chance to turn back time. 

Returning to when he was 18 when everything was fresh and new. Additionally he gets a system that can increase his Soul Power.
