Gun-Ho thought he would have to hire three more people who could each speak English, Japanese, and Chinese.
 
When talking about work and technology, fluent English wasn't necessary because they mostly used technical terms and jargon. The chief officer of the research center and Amiel were communicating fine. When the chief officer was explaining things, Amiel kept nodding his head. When Amiel asked something, the chief officer quickly understood what Amiel wanted to know. Amiel closely looked at the products and sometimes took a picture with his smartphone.
"Good."
"Wonderful."
Amiel seemed to be satisfied mostly.
 
Gun-Ho drove to Seoul with Amiel and Assistant Manager Park in his car. He reserved the Palace Hotel for Amiel, which was located close to Gangnam Express Bus Terminal.
"Please tell Amiel to leave his luggage in his room and come down to the lobby. Attorney Young-Jin Kim will be here soon."
Assistant Manager Park interpreted for Gun-Ho.
 
Gun-Ho was waiting for Amiel at the hotel lobby when Attorney Young-Jin Kim arrived.
"Gun-Ho Goo!"
"It has been a while. I heard you were so busy because of a patent infringement lawsuit."
"You must be very busy yourself in acquiring the company. I wanted to visit your factory, but I just couldn't make time for it."
"No problem. Take your time. Our company is always open to you."
Gun-Ho introduced Assistant Manager Park to Attorney Young-Jin Park.
"This is Young-Jin Park. He is an attorney at Kim&Jeong. He is a friend of mine."
Assistant Manager Park gave a deep bow to Attorney Kim.
"Who is this?"
Attorney Kim looked at Gun-Ho with a question mark on his face.
"Oh, he is our employee. He came here with me to interpret for me."
"Oh, I see."
Attorney Kim offered his hand to Assistant Manager Park for a handshake.
 
Amiel came down to the lobby. He dressed casually.
"Hey, Young-Jin Kim!"
"Amiel!"
They hugged each other with a smile.
Young-Jin Kim and Amiel spent some time catching up at the lobby, and Young-Jin told Gun-Ho in Korean from time to time what he just talked with Amiel.
Assistant Manager Park seemed to be lost in admiration of Attorney Kim's fluent English, and he was just staring at Attorney Kim. Attorney Kim looked like a native English speaker in Assistant Manager Park's eyes; his pronunciation and gestures when he talked were so natural and so American. Assistant Manager Park shouldn't have said that he could speak English well.
 
Gun-Ho said to Assistant Manager Park,
"Since Attorney Kim is here, you don't have to interpret for me anymore. You did a good job today. You can take a bus to Asan City at the express bus station across the street."
"Yes, sir. I will get going then."
Assistant Manager Park gave a bow to Gun-Ho.
Gun-Ho took out an envelope from the inner pocket of his jacket.
"I do appreciate your work today. Here, use that to pay for the express bus to Asan City and for your dinner today."
Assistant Manager Park took the envelope politely that Gun-Ho handed to him with his two hands.

This is the story of a poor young man whose poverty even shreds apart their family willing to climb his way through society and into the top. A very realistic novel that moves away from fantasy and sci-fi and focuses solely on the issues of society and life.

The incident passed quietly. Huang Qunsheng got up early the next morning, and after having woken Huang Xuan up, he started packing. He would go to Sao Paulo University as a visiting scholar. For the sake of safety, Huang Xuan had to follow his father.
Xihuang Industrial Company found them a small villa, which was about 300 square meters, less than two km away from the university. If they got up early in the morning, they could even walk there. Huang Qunsheng loved the surroundings and took it readily. Huang Xuan didn’t have much say in this kind of issue. He would have to audit classes at Foreign Language Academy of Sao Paulo University and spend three hours per day learning from a tutor, whose name was Da Silva, Huang Qunsheng’s interpreter offered by Xihuang Industrial Company before a better candidate appeared. Da Silva was over 30, a person of mixed blood between Chinese and Brazilian, who spoke bad Chinese but interpreted Portuguese correctly.
The official language of Brazil is Portuguese. However, because it is geographically far from Portugal and because of years of political and cultural influence, Portuguese dictionaries aren’t of much use here. Brazilians usually could speak basic Spanish but didn’t speak English well. Certainly, even if every Brazilian could speak English fluently, it wouldn’t help Hung Xuan much. Rolin could be the interpreter, but considering the distance, he was too cheap to speak. According to him, “Saving energy is superior to communicating.” Huang Xuan’s father could only speak English and a little Latin, and often had difficulty talking with Brazilians. Luckily, the staff of Sao Paulo University spoke good English and could communicate with Huang Qunsheng freely.
Regarding the language, Zhang Xinyi couldn’t do much either but hoped that Huang Qunsheng could spend some time educating Huang Xuan. As to the result, the past 15 years spoke for themselves.
Rolin was working hard to translate materials, but since his energy supply totally depended on Huang Xuan, the domestic supply couldn’t meet the base’s increasing needs anymore. To transmit energy to the base from Brazil, the base had to be moved. Whether or not it was worth it was a major question.
Brazil’s nuclear power was developed, but it was state-owned. On the other hand, it was the world’s biggest bioenergy producer, mainly in biodiesel and ethanol fuel. It produced 2.1 billion L of ethanol fuel every year. When this number was translated, Huang Xuan seemed to have heard Rolin swallow his saliva.
“Actually, I do not only consume electricity,” said Rolin.
Huang Xuan was tempted by the number too, but it was like at home right now. His mom had told him to watch more and talk less. He looked at the materials on the computer and couldn’t make his decision. “Rolin, what about me buying out another energy-consuming enterprise like an aluminum factory?” he pried.
“It’ll do.” Rolin didn’t show much enthusiasm. “In one week or so, the base will have enough energy to be upgraded to level 21. Then it will daily consume 500,000 kWh of energy, which requires not only a steady energy channel but also an adequate supply. Otherwise, it won’t be necessary to move the base.”
“How can it be unnecessary? I need your help,” Huang Xuan thought. However, according to the industrial electricity cost at home, 500,000 kWh would cost ¥300,000, which meant nine million per month. Although he had 200 million dollars right now, the operating rights belonged to his parents. All he could dispose of was just about one million.
Thinking this, he sighed. Half a month ago, he had had ten million, but now he had been demoted by one grade. He was afraid that he would be in debt in a few days.

“No worries,” Liu Ziqing agreed repeatedly. Although Huang Xuan had said that RMB was also acceptable, as an auction house in fierce competition, Sothebys wouldn’t throw its customers into inconvenience.
The talked ended as it was time for Huang Xuan to have the Portuguese class. Da Silva was a responsible teacher. It would be more precise to say that he was a Brazilian who was happy to teach somebody. Judging from the speed at which he talked, it would be fair to say that he made good use of every minute of the three hours.
Huang Xuan was a beginner while Da Silva could only be counted as a Brazilian who studied Chinese. More importantly, Huang Xuan wasn’t interested at all. He just stood there miserably. Watching Da Silva’s mouth moving, he said in a voice nearly inaudible, “Rolin, is there any way that I can speak Portuguese at once? I barely know any English. It’s unbelievable to make me study another language.”
“There’s no way,” Rolin answered seriously.
“You have to know Portuguese even when you are buying a pack of tissues,” Huang Xuan said resignedly. “Can you help me? How about ten million kWh of electricity? Don’t you have some kind of technology from tens of thousands of years later? Did you need to learn a new language when you traveled to another space and time before?”
Evidently, Rolin loved the terms Huang Xuan had put forward, but he still answered honestly, “The base doesn’t have the function of assisting in studying until level 21, and even if it does, the learning will still take a long time. In addition, I suggest you learn the language well, which helps a lot during plane travels.”
Hearing the words “take a long time”, Huang Xuan was bored and said, “What’s the use? You can translate anyway.”

If he hadn’t been sent to Brazil, he would have lost interest in Rolin. The properties under his name had been more than 200 million dollars, which would make him on some kind of fortune list at home. He was satisfied with his life. There was no point traveling to another plane.
He hesitated, looked at Da Silva who was talking excitedly, and then whispered, “You know, I can’t go back now. And didn’t you say that the base couldn’t be moved right now?”
“Plane travel can be done without moving the base,” Rolin answered Huang Xuan’s question with some contempt. Then he raised his voice and continued, “but it will consume more energy. The age of planes is all about energy! Energy!” If it had been before, Rolin would have minded the loss of energy, but now he understood that only by opening the channels could the needs be met.
Huang Xuan covered his forehead with his hand. “Sh! Whatever!”
Seeing that Huang Xuan finally had some interest in traveling to another plane, Rolin became excited and said right away, “To get ready, we need the equivalent, a warehouse, energy…”

Until here, Nisa shake her head, there should be dictionary to scold people and blabbering in English because from the look of it, Dina is really good at scolding people and more so with using bad words in English especially when he's really angry, he can't think of anything and start scolding people fluently in English. She don't know how long she need to be together with him to understand every single word as he seem to be able to scold without repetition each time.

"Why when other people ask for a day off you don't go and bother or scold them like this, sister Kan? want to start a meeting, want to vote on anything, sister Kan just vote for 2 voice i give you full permission to do so in my stead."

"Eh! i said that i ask for a day off today...if Brother V he is sick, do you still have the heart to stay and concentrate on work? learn to put yourself in someone else shoes for once, have some conscience!"

This time the phone was pull into the small slim hand because the angry guy is too annoyed and not prepared, Nisa talk into the phone "Hello, good morning sister Kan"

"How are you Cheata, i heard that you're unwell, is it very bad?"

"Just normal fever, it's not that bad."

"I said Dina is having a much worse fever than you, and also crazy dog syndrome too!"

"My God, Sister Kan!" Nisa said and laugh a bit, she then shake her head feeling soft hearted, then look back to see her husband angry face glaring right at her.

"This morning meeting is very important Cheata, Dina shouldn't miss it!"

"Yes, sister Kan, wait a bit sis, Dina will be at the bank within 1 hour."

"You can stay home alone?No problem?"

"Yes, sister Kan, don't worry ...yes...yes...goodbye."

Then she close put down the phone and look at her husband face that seem to want to strangle her alive with full force.

The smooth white face show a sweet smile try to calm him "I already accept sister Kan word and said that you'll be there within 1 hour, please dear don't let down my words ok?"

"And who let you agree to her speech?"

"Please, if you don't go sister Kan will play me to death!"

"Who ask you to bother with her? who speak with her will always lose...and where do you think you're going? no need, no need to wait, i can dress up by myself no more then 5 minutes" Dina rush to hold his wife and put her on the sofa then leave to get dress.

"This morning, have you eaten anything yet?" she shouted to the dressing room.

"I'll just eat some snack in the meeting room, you go sit there for now don't go up and do anything!" a hoarse voice shouted back immediately.

And within 5 mins, a tall body emerged in a tuxedo and a tie along with an office suitcase.

"Done, get up i'll take you to the Hotel first."

"I don't work today."

"I didn't let you go to work i want you to sleep, there's a doctor there 24/7, there's also treatment room, have ambulance, even better than here with just you and Da, only 2 people and Da, don't know when she'll arrive."

"I can stay" after saying that from analyzing his face and eyes, she agree that it is better to not oppose him.

"Okay, i'll go to the hotel, no need to show me such an angry face."

Dina didn't say anything, with an angry face he drag her out of the room and while waiting for the elevator, he make a call "Hello, Nok, I'm sending Cheata to the hotel, i'll bother you to come to the reception to take her and lead her to her room. Also if can, ask a female doctor to come and check on her often too."

"Yes, she has high fever and just take her medicine, any how, i'll leave her with you, Nok. When i'm finish with work i'll hurry and come back here."

"...." Miss Nok might speak a lot that make Dina turn to look at Nisa with a stern face after finish with his conversation.

"I didn't go wait for her i just go and check up on her as normal. She sleep in the hospital for 4 days now, the communicating department told me that her son is busy with work in the province so no one come and take her home because she only live with her son."

"How did you go to check up? why did you return with a fever like this?" the other party didn't forget to find fault and keep on scolding her along the road.

I slowly wake up. my body aces everywhere and my head is throbbing. I raise my head to look around. the room was dark so my headace didnt flair up anymore than it already had with the movement even so i didnt seem to be having any issues seeing.  there was a broken peice of a mirror in the corner, it had some dry blood on the edges of it. probably from someone killing themselves or maybe my imagination is to active. 

       the floor is dirt but ironically the doors to what looked like a cell had blinking red lights indicating that even tho this place was a village they still had technology. by the looks of it, magnetic locks. the door would open with a key card. cool. I drag myself to one of the walls facing towards the doors and pick up the broken mirror. i take a look at my appearance. my face didnt change much from what i remember. high cheekbones and a sharp jawline. the biggest changes that shocked me was my hair and my eyes. instead of the normal eyes of well a human my eye whites were black and my pupils where snowy white. it matched my hair being a bit curly and white.  I throw the mirror across the room, I Felt like alone. I woke up here and nothing looks familiar at all even my own face. hell the first people i met are violent as hell 

    I close my eyes and lean my head against the cold wall. just as i was about the fall asleep to the temo of my throbbing head I hear a click and a squeek as the door opens. it is a man, around 6' 10" hes shorter than the ones on the outskirts of the settlement but he was still a head taller than I am. he looked around glacing left and right then lifts his hand up. a soft cyan blue light collected in his fingers and trailed down into his palms swirling like a vortex till it was a spinning ball of blue light. occasional sparks of blue looking electricity bounced betwen his fingers and the ball. he then gently tosses the ball up and it starts slowly flying around the room. the once dark room takes on a light blue tone as the man walks in holding a wooden chair and sits it down and very causally takes a seat. he looked to be in his late 20's and he had very calm looking eyes a scruffy beard and small dark bags under his eyes like he had stayed up for a week doing something. I look past him into the hallway seeing a few much taller guards waiting nearby. the man who created the Cyan light spoke slowly "Can you understand me?" I look at him. a light nod tilting my head to the side slightly. the man gets a lost look in his eyes and then suddenly says "how bout now. do you still understand me?" Slightly more irritated I nod again. i furrow my eyebrows and ask "Yeah, and so what?" the man scratches his scruffy beard. with an even more exited look in his eyes "Fascinating, um one second -- heow eboutt Neow?" I nod this time a bit confused rather than frustrated. it sounded like really broken English but i could still understand it. He looks at me mystified and then starts speaking. "your eyes hold inteligence and you can understand every language I have spoken so far. so i shall speak plainy. What are you, I have not seen any species like you. you look like the civilians but can be thrown around a pack of Raxes for an hour and come up unscathed. even the best of our sentinels cannot do so even with Light barricades....." he rambled on and on after the initial question i was going to answer but since they didnt seem to understand i didnt see the point. instead of focusing on the meaning of the words I started focusing on the words. 

The more i payed attention the more I noticed the words didnt sound english. or like any language I had heard before. it was interesting that i could just turn off and on my comprehention of his language but it didnt help me at the moment. I closed my eyes and started testing his language sounds in my head and thought of the meaning of them. after awhile it kinda clicked how to reverse comprehention of langage. when i wanted to speak i think of the words in their langage and just say whatever sounds popped out. kinda hopeing for the best when i say something but itll hold me off until I learn how to speak the language fluently. i then softly say "quiet please" it was foreign to move my mouth in the pattern and the accent seemed a bit off but it came out sounding english to me so whatever works. the man that was chatting up a storm something about native species of the planet and light particles and something else that i wasnt really paying attention to. He stops talking abrubtly stairing at me "did you say something just now?" I nod sofly with my eyes closed "could you please stop talking, my head is still pounding from getting my face smashed in" i peek an eye open and he looks slightly offended then suddenly he looks excited "so you can feel the pain of the damage done to you but don't actually receive the damage. facinating. and he seemes to have just picked up the language how curious" he then calls over his shoulders loudly much to my pounding head displeasure "I must experiment can one of you two send a request to the Sentinel leader for permission to take him out of the cell and bring him to underground lab 3 please" he promptly gets up and leaves. the gentle cyan light slowly dims as the tapping of his shoes are heard down the hall. I rub my face with my hands and groan and inwardly think. well this is going to be a pain. all the while hearing him chatter away to no one in particular.

"182cm to 189cm?"
"That's right, Ho Yung."
"Yes!"

Ho Yung pumped his fists.

Basically unlimited height growth. 

This was an ability that he couldn't have ever earned with effort. His height wouldn't even cause any rumours concerning the matter of if he was the true child of his parents, as Hwang Sun and Ho Yung looked amazingly similar.

His mum was on the taller side, anyway. 

He made his mind up to treat Hyung Jun Suk to a meal if he ever ran into him on the world stage. 

"So is this it for the medical test?"

All he had done was a blood test, X-ray, and some heart tests; all just regular health tests. 

"Yes. Right now, it's just very basic health checks. We'll start more extensive medical tests before you officially enter the team."

So the inbody tests that measure general body balance like muscle density will be conducted later. Lukas then took Ho Yung through the current schedule laid out for Ho Yung. 
First, information regarding the youth team and the academy.
Second, information regarding FIFA transfer laws, article 19. 

"Do you understand?"
"Yes. So I don't have to worry, I just need to focus on soccer?"
"Yes."

There was no reason to worry - there were other players under 18 years of age from Mexico, Bolivia, Chile and Korea who belonged to the team. 

"Even if that becomes a problem, later on, it's not going to be a huge issue. Ho Yung, you won't live here forever, right?"

He was right.
He wasn't going to belong to San Paolo for all of his life. 

Brazil was just a step in his career - it wasn't the league he would forever live in. In fact, Ho Yung's thoughts couldn't be further from that. 

'There are so many teams I want to go to!'

He wasn't a one-club man - more of a journeyman. It would be frustrating to be stuck in one place. 

Of course, it wasn't something he could decide before he experienced it himself. 

"So when do we sign?"
"In April, there will be a signing season for new players. Then you'll be officially in the youth team. Until then, you'll learn the fundamentals at the academy. You'll be judged personally and given training - the results and the medical test will be combined to make the GPA."
"GPA?"
"It's basically a score. That you need to sign."
"Oh ~ to judge whether I get into the team or not?"
"Yes, the cut is 6.5 out of 10, and the contract will differ with your score."
"Hmm."
"Haha. I know it's a bit hard. To explain again…"
"No, I understand."

Ho Yung decided to ask about something else.

"What if the score is less than 6.5?"
"Then you train at the academy and wait for the next opportunity. You've come all this way, you can't just go back!"
"Haha, of course!"

He began to understand the relationship between the youth team and the academy. 

"What's the personal judgement test?"
"Well. It judges whether you, Ho Yung, have the mental health to be able to cope with the youth team's training. You'll also want to learn Portuguese."
"Portuguese?"
"The personal test has a Portuguese test section."
"Ah…"

Nothing was truly easy. 

4 days later, there finally came the time to say goodbye. 
"Ho Yung, take care and keep in touch."
"Yes, don't worry, I'm a big boy now~"
"You talk like a big boy haha."

His son was his son, whether he was 20 or 40. A parent always saw their child as a child, no matter their age, so Hwang Sun naturally worried. 

"Ho Yung Wu, you can do this!"

Hi Sun couldn't seem to make herself walk away. She hugged Ho Yung tightly. 

"If you ever feel exhausted or bad, tell us."
"Yes."
"I love you."

Later that day.

It would have been understandable to spend the first few days lazily with the excuse of getting adjusted, but Ho Yung didn't waste any time. 

His parents were paying his living expenses so he couldn't afford to do that. 

Plus, he was going to attend grade 5 in a private primary school next month; it was vital that he learnt the language. It was lucky that he knew some Spanish from his mum. 

It helped a lot that Spanish and Portuguese were very similar.
Moreover, Maria Cho held classes for all the kids from foreign countries so Ho Yung was able to build his skills incredibly fast. 

He purposely didn't use Korean. 

From the morning to the afternoon, he was trained in the U9 (under 9) academy. 

Truthfully, the academy was not of a high standard. It was only a stage to build a foundation before entering officially. 

He entered the highest skill-level class but actually, it was a system designed that anyone with money could get into the academy. There were more Asian international students than Brazilian kids - that should say enough. 

This might have been why there were nearly no kids with skills. 

It could be taken as a warm-up for the entrance to the youth team?

The real thing started after getting into the U11 or U13, which were official teams belonging to San Paolo FC. 
The signing season was April, so he would wait for that deadline while training. 

Communication was hard but since the sport was played with the body, it was bearable. Every day, he returned home after sunset.

He wanted to kick the ball around alone into the night but there was a higher crime rate in Brazil than in Korea. The problem began there. 

He didn't have a phone or a roommate and it was incredibly lonely and frustrating to be alone in a room.

"I wish I could have a beer…"

After becoming independent, all his repressed urges came back.

'Ha. I need to make friends to learn the language quicker, too.'

Ho Yung's strength was in socialising. He hoped that he could communicate with body language and make some friends.

She smiled and waved.

"Hello."
"Um, hello. Are you…"

Ho Yung closed his mouth. He wished that he could speak more but actually speaking was a lot more difficult. 

'Did I forget?'

Language was a problem.

Ho Yung searched for anything to say at all and scratched his head. 

"Do you know how to speak Korean?"
"Huh?"
"No, I'm an idiot for asking."

It wasn't like K-pop was big yet so he would be lucky if she even knew where Korea was. There was no way that anyone would know Korean. 
"Wait."

Monica called him in a familiar language.

"Do you speak English?"
"Very little."
"What about Russian?"

He shook his head.

"Spanish?"
"Huh?"

Ho Yung got a flash of recognition in his eyes. 
"My mum used to live in Spain!"

He made his first friend that day. 

Her room was full of amazing smells. 

That was Ho Yung's review. Monica had invited him into her room. 

"So your dad is Brazilian, your mum is Russian-American and your grandma is Spanish?"
"Yeah, I was named by my grandma."
"That's amazing!"
"Really?"
"Yes!"

'How many races did she have in her…?'

Ho Yung truly felt how he was in a multicultural country. 

"How many languages do you speak?"
"Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and English, but I don't speak every one of them fluently."
"Wow… you're that?"
"That?"
"Prodigy."

Monica's eyes sparkled as she looked at Ho Yung.

You didn't absolutely need to have talent in linguistics to speak multiple languages but he had also seen the skill 'excellent sense of language (C)' in Maria. 

The criteria of speaking a foreign language made it a little difficult but he would be able to achieve it with his housemate, Monica, with some time. He just needed to slowly build it with Spanish even if it's frustrating. 

"Do you… learn a sport?"
"Yeah."
"Ah~"

Kids who were in homestay situations around here were mostly elite athletes.

"What do you learn?"
"Rhythmic gymnastics!"

Of course, the Russian heritage…!

"But aren't Russia and Spain famous for rhythmic gymnastics?"
"I was living in Rio de Janeiro with my family and I started it as a hobby. My coach told me I've got some talent, so I came here to learn it for free. If I do well here, they might let me train in Spain too."

He felt once again that this was the birthplace of Brazilian elite sports, Victoria Hashpe.

"Yeah. Even I can see that you have gymnastic skills."
"Hahah. You're a funny one."
"Yeah? Let's be good friends, Monica."
"Okay!"

Monica felt refreshed at Ho Yung's manners compared to boys his age. 

Time flowed fast.

He studied hard, trained hard, and developed his skills with fire and passion. One month was a breeze.

In February, he started at a school that was 10 minutes away by bus. Thanks to his open personality, he was able to make friends quickly.

There was the occasional racism and practical jokes, but all trouble was solved with soccer. 

Brazil was a soccer nation after all!

In Physical Education class, the students went outside to kick the ball around and Ho Yung drew eyes with his outstanding skills. The best part was that there was so much more time allowed for students to be outside than in Korea.

This also helped him develop his skills. 

However, the $7000 yearly school fees always stuck out in the corner of his mind. This motivated him to think about the future and focus on soccer.

Eat, soccer, eat, soccer. 

In the evening, Monica's tutoring. 

He had never lived as passionately and as busily as now. Every day was hard, but he thought about his future and his family. He stayed with sheer willpower. 

His loneliness was lessened by good friends, including Monica. 

It was April before he knew it.

It had only been 2 months but there had been a lot of changes in Ho Yung.
Even though his communication skills weren't perfect, he acquired 'rhythmical flexibility (C)' and 'quite showy footwork (C+)' and kept improving his skill set. 

On top of that, he achieved the beginner ranking in the CELPE-Bras test which he needed for his personal judgement. 

On the contrary, the world did not change.

The war in Iraq or natural disasters and other heavy events happened. There was nothing Ho Yung could do about it.

It was hard, but he focused on his future only.

Thursday, April 3rd, 2003; the day he had been waiting for. 

Bianca, the TSN Manager of the San Paolo FC youth team, spoke to Ho Yung who had just finished the entrance process.

"Ho Yung. Good job for your effort."
"Then…?"
"Congratulations, your GPA is a 9.13. Would you like to look at the contract?"

10-year-old Ho Yung, finally, had climbed his way to the front of a negotiating table. 

Months of effort and determination lead to this moment. He felt as if he could cry.
