"Ray wake up" A voice echoed in the golden unending room.
"Come on I don't have a whole day just for you..... wake up" The voice gets louder.

Ray Wilson opens his eyes with relief and the first time in his entire life he felt something different when he woke up this time.
"Who is it? and why I can't see you? " His voice sounds curious.
"I think we should talk" A voice echoes again but Ray couldn't see who was it.
"Who are you?" He asks.
"You ask a lot of questions my son. l am god of reincarnation" A man suddenly walks out of nowhere.

Suddenly Ray get shocked and started questioning
"What? How? You can't be serious? "

He was going to ask another question but he realizes that he is not in his body, it was his soul and not even astral projected like in the Doctor Strange movie, it was clearly like a ghostbuster one, more like cloud-shaped. 
"Woah Woah Woah where is my body?" Ray gets hyperactive and scared.
" Listen I am here to give you a chance to reincarnate in a new world and start your new life and you can't see your body because you are dead" Ray gives a look to G.O.R. because of how casually he informed him that he is dead.

Suddenly Ray starts remembering that he was stabbed in the back by a man when he was saving the old woman from him and he died in the hospital because of loss of blood.

Ray starts crying and gets emotional and asks about his family.
"My family.... what will happen to them now?" He asks.
G.O.R. just nodes in concern and seeing him like that G. O. R. asked him about reincarnation.
"If you are done with all the emotions, Can we talk about your second chance, if you have ever heard of the reincarnation" G.O.R. speaks.
" You mean I can go back?" Ray asks being as humble as he can.
" Yeah but there is an interesting thing about your soul, it can handle travels through dimensions so if you want to, I can send you to worlds like supernatural and much more and with your wishes, it will be fun but remember every wish you'll make will have consequences so ask carefully." G.O.R. 
"Wait... What do you mean by wishes?" Ray asks, a little confused about the wishes part.
"You can have 3 wishes and a world of your choice and don't be worried about your family they will be alright... so what it gonna be... I prefer Marvel." G.O.R. says.
"Ok... So I can choose the world of my choice and you will grant me 3 wishes but I can't go to Marvel, I don't want to change such a good thing and even if there are some bad parts, I still can't" 
"So What it will be?... DC?" G.O.R. asks
" No, if you take out Dark Knight trilogy then it's just the studio ruining the franchise just to get somewhere close to Marvel and I don't remember much of it then no point going there" Ray explains his choice.
Then Ray started thinking about one of his favorite shows the Vampire Diaries and the originals and thinking for while he comes up with his 3 wishes
"Ok... so... l want to reincarnate in the world of the vampire Diaries

(1)My first wish is to be a more powerful vampire than Marcel Gerard and Lucien and also be harmless of their bite and even cure it and can only be killed by platinum-gold alloy stake and the Bennett witch blood on it" He makes his first wish.
"Wait, Why a weakness?" G.O.R. asks.
"How is that weakness because if I can only be put down by this weapon then there is no chance someone can use powerful magic to make me vulnerable enough to kill like Salvatores did to Klaus and later that bush like something which killed Elijah so by this, it won't happen to me.

(2) My second wish is to reincarnate at the time of day before Lucian takes the serum and wants to be reincarnated in Mystic Falls.

(3) My third wish is that I want to be a demon wolf with full control over the skills and transformation."

"As you say, my son. " 

G. O. R.  snaps his fingers and boom

This quote by Camille O'Connell summarizes the book perfectly.

The story is about a character named Ray Wilson who is reincarnated into the world of the vampire diaries with three wishes.

But everything starts going wrong when new threats and new characters start appearing because of the consequences.

Ray explores the world and faces countless challenges to get what he wants and to prove that he deserves to have all the power that he holds.

If I was to resurrect the dead

Varsas almost chokes on his own spit the moment he saw the title. That book isn't supposed to be here, in the Gungnir's territory.

Lufa was curious. It's a book that can garner such attention as to be banned. At the same time it was a book that she did not know about even with her future vision so it may have not been that important. She asked Varsas about it after his slip in persona since he seems to know about it.

"What is this book?"

Varsas looks at her in a daze before gathering his thoughts. He speaks clearly and carefully with the butler in the room.

"It's a book from the Lanton empire. Currently our neighbors are at war with them, even though my father claim neutrality, we are still providing supplies to the war effort with trading. A portion of our populations are also from or have ties with the other kingdom so it is to be expected that a book from there would not be well received."

The little girl in the guise of a servant give him a look that says that is not what she meant. Both of them know of the event of the future, he is from the future in fact and seems to know about it, Varsas gives her a warning glance looking at the butler in the room, yet she looks at him as if saying he knows full well that both of them could have dealt with that easily.

Not knowing the full exchange between the young master of the house and the powerful being from Lan Sphere, the butler chooses that moment to cut in.

"It is also a heretical book." He says angrily.

For a moment Varsas remember the origin of the word heretical. There used to be religion, however for one reason or another, the ancestor of the various nations have abandoned it all together, at this moment, nothing is truly heretical anymore. It is just cultural inertia for the meaning of the word, people has forgotten what that word really means.

But it was not the wrong usage of word that causes Varsas to cut in. Using the choice of word the man had used, he says

"And what part of it is heretical?" It was a simple question, though Lufa caught up on it and looks at him questionably.

"Perhaps it is because of the necromancy content?" She asks.

"There is not a single mention of necromancy magic in this book." Varsas returns.

"Aye, but it involves raising the dead using the science of the Lanton empire." The butler explains.

There is not a single mention of necromancy magic in the book, true, at the same time the book went on about how the author of the book, as a man utilizing the technology of the Lanton empire would go about resurrecting the dead with those technology. It is the first book of a trilogy, and for the opening book, it details the preparation of the human bodies and the process involved...

The numbers and actual method was fiddle with of course, however scholars and scientist from both the Lanton empire and other nation agree that it was plausible and the man writing the book has a detailed understanding of the human body as well as extensive knowledge in technology.

What is less mentioned of course is that the method used in the book was uncomfortably similar to the event that turned the world against the Lanton empire years ago.

The rule of nature is against raising the dead, the author explained. Necromantic magic has a reputation of being dark and taboo, not because the user was dark per se, it is just that a "successful" necromancy ritual always result in something going wrong. The reanimation of the body is easy. The binding of departing soul into those bodies can be done.

It is just that always, seemingly without fail, those souls would be twisted beyond anything. The one who was brought back would always go mad or has a really questionable personality, a perversion of that person's actual personality when they were alive.

It is as if magic itself was against the resurrection of the dead.

And that is why the author argued that if magic was against the resurrection of the dead, remove magic from the equation all together, in fact, one has to isolate actual magic from the proceeding if one was to resurrected the death.

Yet one problem with that would be it is hard to actually do something like that without magic, there are no precedent about resurrection without magic.

That is where the technology of the Lanton empire comes in. In recent years with the advancement of knowledge about the human body and how it function in the Lanton empire, it was possible to do something that is akin to magic, using technology.

The problem was the details in the book was uncomfortably similar to the human chimeraic experiment that turned the world against the Lanton years ago.

"Did that person actually resurrect the dead?" Lufa says with wonder and intrigue. Such a fascinating thing yet it never comes to her knowledge. The human world is really fun, Lufa decided.

"It is only the first book of the trilogy. That say the title is 'If I were to resurrect the dead'." Varsas emphasizes that.

"The various respected person says that thing is propaganda from the Lanton empire and should not be distributed. It is rumored that that thing seduced many a scholar from their home and made them leave for the Lanton empire." The butler says in hushed whisper, switching to gossiping mode.

Lufa glances at Varsas, if that book can seduce the reader and make them leave their home, what about Varsas reading it? However at the moment, he is not reading it, he just glances at the cover in deep thought. In the first place, he did not have any intention whatsoever to read it. He is more interested in the unfolding situation, that is getting a bit out of hand.

It confound Lufa even more, she can't see what that guy is thinking whatsoever, despite both having the knowledge of the future.

Varsas Gungnir was known as the hero who ended the war, but then he died, bleeding out on the street. He woke up again, 10 years in the past. He has decided to do... nothing

the time i go home i start to think if she will accept, i was a little greedy, but they have no choice on turning down, THEY want to test me against Kiba, i could have wait after Raynare, 
i need to think where i can have my reward can't ask Akeno to strip in a little bedroom also my parents can enter that would be ankward, with all the money i have i might as well buy a house near highschool or ask Rias to ask Sirzech later once i'm a devil, but  I would have to wait, and i really don't want to wait so buying a house it is.

« Miriam how can i use all my money i can't just go to the bank with 1Million yen and say i want to put this money on my bank acount they will ask me how did i get the money, Even if you told me when i was little that i could use all it is useless »

« ….Ding....yes Master,you can find anything but they are more pricey and it will be directly send to your brain, but be carefull you don't have drawing skill for manga so only writer. You will have to type it on computer but with you dexterity i think in one night you can write one or two book that will be easy for you, it is just a little setback your like cant go how you always want you will have troubled time. »

Thank you Miriam you are right it is only a small set back i will cash out the reward later in a month or two at the end i have to waitt i cry to myself, as for book  i want to « write » it will be a good gift for Akeno, she will love it .

A slight pain goes through my brain, i start writing inside my space for 8 hours straight, as Miriam told me i could write really quickly, in one night i could write one book
at the end of the week i will go to a publishing house it would need at least a month before they start making the book, and after that it wold need 2-3 month before the first income worse case scenario.
 Let's eat with my family it is 8pm diner should be done soon.

when i come back to school i happen to see Akeno and Rias waiting for me, i have my weapon strap to my back but, i went to an alley to use inventory just before entering school ground again, they look at my back to see the sword strap,

there was Koneko, Sona sitri and ,Tsubaki they are both beautifull i would not mind taking Sona for myself, i don't really like Tsubaki, but since she is in love with Sona i will be able to do some lez play, there is no way i will let saiji  have Sona,

i waited for him to attack to see how strong he is, Kiba  disapear and reappear  behind me it was so slow for me i had all the time in the world to defend myself , but i atttck the moment he reappear i was already slashing at his head, he did well parrying my sword but not fast enough i  reappear behind him to make him faint but he could deflect the back of my sword
we exchange blow for  four minutes he can't break my defense, he looked at Rias, she nods hear head.

Hello everyone. I hoped you all liked my beginning ideas in this story. To be honest, I have a bigger project that includes a lot more lore. This was still fun to write, but sadly, not going to actually be my story. My other stories I was writing also included some of my ideas for the story I wish to write. I was also going to throw a few more fanfiction ideas in the mix, but I'm quickly running through ideas and I don't want to start another story I will not finish. Now, not too far in the future, I plan to start this story, and I'll post it on here for awhile until I have enough content for my actual book to be published. Sorry, things keep popping up lately and there are too many tasks to keep track of. After the recent failure of my Amalgam Xianxia, I've been thinking of bringing back an old story of mine in its place.

I've already thought about what I'll do after ending this Arc, and to keep up with the current writing trends, I'll be writing Battlefield Restart 3 after this Arc is finished rather than Battlefield Restart 2- An Adventure Beyond Greatness. The reason being is that not only can that story tie in perfectly into earlier entries but also independently exist by itself.

The story will be called Battlefield Restart 3- An Ascendance Beyond Destiny, and will be more about the 'growing up' aspect of Idealism Vs Cynicism and the concept of 'Hero Squads'.

I know writing a the last story in a 'trilogy' before the first story is being too out there and weird, but I feel as if such a story I'm thinking of will keep up with the trends and invite that feeling of nostalgia.

If Battlefield Restart- An Identity Beyond Self is a story of an Isekai'd MC, and Battlefield Restart 2- An Adventure Beyond Greatness is a mete deconstruction of The Hero's Journey, Then Battlefield Restart 3- An Ascendance Beyond Destiny is about self-betterment (as cheesy as it sounds... Meh, this has Magical Girls anyway).

The story is built like Reincarnator but with less set goals. He aims to stop an Apocalypse by 'creating Heroes' but that in itself has already failed as a plan the first time. The last fighters of Earth just before the humanity became extinct (because they died as well) were the 'Contractors' of the MC of the previous entry in this trilogy (BR 2, basically).

The main character will be 'Mr Mascot', someone who is closely related to things that happened in both the first Battlefield Restart and its sequel. A guy who was the 'Hero Forger' in the past.

He is sent back in time to try again. Although I say this story is like Reincarnator, he has a lot more cynicism and a lot more softer heart than the guy in that story. A guy who can't fight by himself.

Unlike others in his team that could have been sent back, like those who can rewrite reality or are essentially immortal, he is sent back because only he is great at bringing people together, as the rest of them are too reliant on their overpowered Gifts.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that there will be delays but I'll make sure to get this Arc ended with a more satisfying conclusion than last time (in my own perspective). I hope to finish this soon!

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

In the modern world where life was easily prolonged, the life of a king was the norm, and just following the system was enough to make anyone successful.

That is the current world we live in, and a boy was bored with it.

Not just him but many have the tendency at one point of life where they would get bored of it. It either may be too hard or easy for them.

Time by time, a challenge obstructs their flow of life. This may give color to their life but the opposite can still be true otherwise.

It's complicated, but what's not when dissected? People tend to look at things in general, making it seem simple.

Now back to the boy, his name is Cass and he is also bored with life like some. However, he has a unique reason why: he was too talented. 

He can pick up anything and learn it with ease. Cass is a prodigy at anything. Even in love, he has lust and needs of course, but girls will always give themselves to him as if they were cheap, this greatly turned him off.

He's charismatic, humble, and quiet. Although his looks are not on the level of a model it's enough to make any girl fall for him with his capability.

At seven years old, he already learned how to be calm and decisive, he chose to improve himself since he understood the importance of many things at a young age.

In different fields, he excelled at them. Nothing really made his life hard.

At the age of nine, he already got his first fangirl. Her name was Felicia and she would follow him everywhere, regardless of time, location, and occasion. 

But Cass would get angry at her when she takes it to the extreme, such as: following Cass to the restroom or watching him sleep, so even with her obsessiveness, she restrained herself.

And so, by the age of nine, he already got his first stalker…

When he reached thirteen, he could literally take care of himself. He can make money as easy as picking sand at a beach. Cass became independent from his parents but he really never sought riches so he took his job casually and invested here and there where he knew will be successful.

And finally, four years later, at the present time, he became humble not because he is kind but he doesn't want much attention.

"And why are you sleeping in class?", Felicia wrinkled her forehead.

By then Cass showed a soft smile and his tone changed, a little.

"School is useless for me and so, I use the time to sleep to regain my energy to read."

"Then why go to school?", Felicia murmured a comment.

"After all that, it is still better than back at home."

"The last time, you said it was because the cafeteria's meals were too delicious to be ignored?", Felicia made a suspicious look.

"No, I said it was because of the free food. I am not going to waste my scholarship.", Cass smirked.

"Ohhh, the thinking of a genius. When will I ever understand you?", Felicia tried to hug Cass as if it was normal in the flow of the conversation.

But Cass stood.

But Felicia still hugged him.

But Cass… ignored it and took his backpack and a pocketbook within it.

As he exited his classroom like a tree with a persistent koala, he walked through a wide and luxurious hall unbefitting of a school but a castle.

Cass didn't complain since he knew it would be pointless and Felicia's weight was practically nothing for him.

He even felt his clothes were being bitten from time to time. Which is weird but in Felicia's defense, she couldn't help herself.

They've been together for almost eight years and the fact that they are not officially a couple or a couple at all, is definitely a weird one.

Both were weird, one that is madly in love to another that stayed resilient for eight years even after being rejected every day, and the second who is also weird if not weirder, he who can stay adamant on rejecting every man's dream girl as if it was nothing for eight years!

Both of them knew that Cass is not interested in the same sex or is turned off by Felicia. The reason for the status quo is a bit strange and complicated.

The koala popped her head out to see the serious Cass who was reading.

She asked, "So that's the book you saved energy for?"

Cass simply nodded, immersed in the book.

"Is it really better than me?"

Cass disregarded the baseless and illogical complaint.

"This is a new book I recently got in an underrated shop."

"Underrated shop… you mean Sel's Bookstore?", Felicia smiled.

Cass looked at her with suspecting eyes, "Sometimes I don't know how you were able to follow me without me knowing."

Felicia dropped down from Cass since she was getting tired from hugging. She even wiped her sweat with Cass's clothes which made her received a pinched on her cheek.

"So you went to some small store because you already read all the books in the school library?", Felicia couldn't believe her own words since the Grelan's Library has almost all the books in the country.

"Yeah, fantasy books and I am extremely choosy. There are just a few books in the library that suited my taste.", Cass smirked.

"Extremely choosy but I know you bought three books from that store.", Felicia shook her head.

"It's a trilogy…", Cass explained nonchalantly.

"What's the story about?"

"It's called The Holy Queen and it has a pretty interesting premise."

Because of the size of the school, both Cass and Felicia just reached the school gate after a quarter of an hour.

"There was once a pure girl who was chosen by the Gods to become the one who guided the people into heaven. She became the Holy Queen of the strongest kingdom and there she waits for her adulthood to officially take the role of the Holy Queen."

"…hmmm.."

"What?"

"So what's the problem of the story?"

Cass looked at the back of the book's cover and continued, "I don't know but maybe because of demons."

"… of course, demons…", Felicia nodded.

Cass sighed, he too didn't know what caught his interest in this book for him to buy the whole trilogy.

"Currently, the Holy Queen sets out her men to find the hidden demons all over her kingdom. There is one guard who was caught…."

"And?", Felicia was interested only because of Cass not in the book.

"The next page is bl-", before Cass finished his sentence, a bright light swallowed his vision unwarned.

Cass traveled unknowingly through something the mind of a human cannot fathom. His emotions whirled and his mind was on the brink of madness. It is clear that this was not suitable for a human.

But the "travel" did not take long as Cass regained back his senses feel heat surrounding his.

Sweat uncomfortable pouring all over his body. The smooth wind that comes with little things that irritate his skin. Fatigue pierced his whole body, especially on the leg.

Then his sense of hearing came back as he heard multiple footsteps on sand, heavy footsteps.

"This demon might have a trick up his sleeve. Demons don't surrender quietly."

A hoarse voice came to him and finally, his sense of sight came back. 

There he saw were metal bars that imprisoned him and behind that was the vast land of sand.

A horse neighed in front of him that took his attention.

"The Holy Queen will never be wrong that this man is a demon."

A Holy Queen, revered by the lands and one with the Heavens met the only obstacle in her life.
