Love…. A simple four letter word but have the wight more than any one can imagine. It is a feeling which no one can describe it in words but can only be felt from the bottom of the heart. Love is a feeling that can make you complete from both inside and out by making you feel warm and wanted. It's a feeling of peace and happiness. 


Some say love has no age and time and it can happen with anyone and at any time. Sometimes it happens in the most unexpected of times and sometimes it takes years to happen it. Someone believes and waits a lifetime to fall in love while someone falls even if they don't wait or believe in it. It's just the way it chooses. Someone can't choose when to fall in love and with whom to fall in love, but in fact the love chooses the person with whom and when we fall and it happens in the most unexpected of times. 


Love can be unpredictable and unconditional and true love is even more powerful. It can create many differences, misunderstandings but at the same time it can create bonding, stronger relationships, trust, believe and even more. Love can be your weakness and it can be your strength at the same time. It just depends on us how to choose and what to choose. Love can make one person laugh, cry, happy, sad, hurt, jealousy, anger, possessed, obsession and crazy. 

It can make you do anything in a moment and nothing in the next moment. But still its worth falling for.

I never thought that I would fall in love again after that break up and if this feeling is called love then what i felt previously is not love but just an attraction i suppose. Because the feeling… It's much more intense and deep that i can feel it from my heart and never felt it before for my ex. This is a foreign feeling for me but at the same time it's not. I feel like I have felt this feeling from quite sometime now, and the only thing is that I didn't realise it sooner. It was always there in my heart from the moment I first saw him in the pub but my mind didn't accept it due to fear of getting hurt. But you know what, I don't care even if i get hurt now because in the end it's all worth it for him. 


He is worth it and I love him so much. It took me a lot of time to realise that I am in love with him and I am a fool to not recognise this feeling from the first. But now, i don't want to waste even a minute being away from him. Its like my heart and brain are tugging and longing to be near him and be in his embrace. 


Now, i realised why he got hurt repeatedly for me and beared every tear for me. It was because he loved me and still does. And like a fool I am, didn't realise his affection and love towards me. Now i realise what his eyes were trying to communicate with me. They are pouring his heart and love out from his eyes even if he masked his expressions. 


All the while it was present in front of me and his eyes tried to communicate with me and tried to tell me about his love and feelings but i didn't grasp it. 


Abhi… Now i know what you were trying to say with your eyes which cannot be said through words. Now I know how much you love me and how much I love you. Now i realised my feelings towards you. It has always been you, It was only you the whole time but it took some time for me to realise that. 


Now i know why i met you in the pub, now i know why fate played its role to get me to meet you in your company again, now I know why i always stumbled upon you, now I know why i feel all those weird feelings when you smile or touch me, now i know why my heart races and flutters for you, now I know why I cried so much for you and felt the pain you felt. Now i know that it was love all this time and I always loved you. 


"Thank you thank you thank you so much Rishi" I said with happy tears and hugged him tightly which he returned with equal force and affection. 


"Thank you so much for making me realise Rishi. I was an idiot to not realise it sooner" I said crying while he chuckled listening to my response.


"It's ok Choti. You were in denial because of your fear. You just needed some help in pushing you and removing that cover of fear, so that you can see what is in front of you all this while. I just did that" he said explaining to me while into my eyes with a soft expression on his face. I just nodded my head in acceptance and closed my eyes by relieving in this feeling.


"Is this how you felt when you got to know that you loved him?" I asked glancing at Riya gesturing towards Rishi to which she blushed and nodded her head.


"God, this feeling is so foreign and so different. But i love it" I said smiling from ear to ear that my cheeks are hurting a lot. But still no one will be able to wipe the smile from my face.


"I said to you that you love him. But did not listen to me" Dev said coming towards me and smacking my head.


I scowled at him to which he laughed and ruffled my hair. I pushed his hand away and he pulled me into a warm hug making me sigh with content. 


"I am happy for you both" he said kissing my forehead making me smile "And now I think that you need to tell him about you feelings as soon as possible" he suggested looking into my eyes to which I furrowed my eyebrows. 


Yes, I know that I need to tell him about my feelings but the way he said, i think there is more meaning to it which I didn't understand.


"God.. Where have you got this idiot as my friend" exclaimed Riya by standing in front of me by keeping her hands on her hips and giving me a glare to which I gulped not knowing what have i done wrong.


"Dammit. He might be thinking that you rejected him again because of your actions yesterday" she shouted with frustration to which I flinched back but immediately I grasped on to the fact about what she said making my eyes go wide in realization.


"Shit shit shit…. I am literally dumb. How can i be so stupid" I said feeling anxiety and started walking here and there not getting what to do. 


"Stop it and shut up first" she said making me stop in my steps and look at her with tense expression.


"First, Don't get tensed and call him" she stated the fact to which I facepalmed myself making Rishi and Dev laugh at me. If i was in any other situation, I would have smacked them, but now I have more important things to do than fight with them.


I immediately took my mobile from the bed and dialed his number waiting in anticipation for him to pick up. I can literally feel my heartbeat which is beating loudly against my chest just to listen to his husky voice. 


Pickup Abhi please pick up. I said internally by tapping my leg on the floor. I have a lot to say, a lot to express and a lot to talk with you. Please pick up the call. I am so sorry for hurting you but i promise that i will make everything right this time. 


But, to my disappointment the call went unanswered making my stomach clench with unwanted feelings and insecurity. I can feel myself getting restless while calling him repeatedly and getting unanswered all the times. It has been 15 minutes since i am trying to his mobile and he is not lifting the call.


What if he is done with me and got tired. What if he is angry on me or doesn't want anything to do with me after facing this much pain? What if he hates me now or don't want to talk to me?


Tears started pooling around my eyes again thinking about all the possibilities that can happen and wanted to cry out loud. Immediately Riya came and hugged me by assuring that everything will be alright.


"Hey, you have his brother's number right? What was his name? Adi… Advaith right??" Dev said remembering Big brother which immediately lifted my hope little bit.


"Yes, Advaith it is. Call him to know what happened. Don't get to conclusion before itself. What if he went out and forgot his mobile at home?" he said explaining to me and encouraging me from getting down and I nodded my head in acceptance.


Maybe Dev is right and he forgot his mobile. I will call to Big brother and find out first. I sighed and dialed his number while praying to god for him to lift the call at least. And i think my prayers got accepted because Adi lifted the call after five rings making my heart beat faster. 


"Angel…?" he said whispering from the other side which sounded like a question. I took a deep breath to control my emotions and answered him.


"Big brother… I need a favour" I said almost whispering but i think he heard it. 


"About Abhi?" he asked guessing to which nodded my head. But then remembered that he cannot see me.


"Yes. Can you tell me where he is?" I asked looking at my friends who stood silent and listening to our conversation. There is a tension in the air and we all can feel it.


"Actually no. I made a mistake and hurt him with my actions. So, now i want to rectify it by asking him to forgive me and to tell him how much I love him" I said emotionally by closing my eyes and feeling guilty again.


"What if i say that i am with him right now and we came to the same spot where I have taken you the first time we met?" He said from the other end with a sing song voice which made me chuckle knowing that he is trying to help us both. 


"Then I would like to say that, please keep him there itself until I come because now he can't escape me" I said laughing and feeling happy that I got to know his wheareboots and to know that he is doing fine.


"Sure Angel. Anything for you. And i would make it fast if I am in your place" he suggested indirectly by intimating that i need to get there as soon as possible.


"Thank you so much brother. It means alot and i will be there with 20 minutes" I said with new found hope and determination to reach my love. I was about to hang up when he called me again.


"Yes?" I asked waiting for him to continue.


"Omisha will pick you up from the house. Get ready within ten minutes. Bye see you soon" He said hanging up by making me furrow my eyebrows.


Omisha? Why? But I don't have time to think about that now.I need to be ready within ten minutes.


"What happened? What he said?" asked Riya immediately after hanging up.


"He said that Abhi is with him and they are at their regular place. And Omisha will be picking me up" I said to them while rummaging through my cupboards to find the dress. Finally I came up with ripped blue jeans and white top and went inside the bathroom to change. I was rehearsing the words what i should say when i see him when i was getting ready. Within five minutes i got ready by pinning my hair into a bun and taking my mobile in my hands.


"Why would Omisha pick you up?" asked Dev looking at me in confusion. Even i too don't know the answer to that.


"I too don't know but if brother believes her then i hope i too can believe her. And I don't think she is that bad after what she said to me yesterday." I said nodding my head at them. "I am going and thank you for making me realise. Love you all" I said entering into the living room with them tailing behind me when i got a text from Omisha that she is waiting outside of the apartment. 


I immediately went out and entered the elevator fidgeting in my hands while thinking about his reaction when I express my feelings. But i know that i have to tell him at any cost. I am determined to make him listen to me even if he doesn't want to listen. I will make everything right between us again Abhi. 


I got out of the elevator and saw that a Hyundai car was waiting outside the apartment gates. When I got near, i saw that Omisha was sitting in the driver's seat while looking at me with a smile on her face by waving her hand and it was a genuine one. For a split second I was surprised to see her genuine smile which is directed towards me but then smiled back with equal genuinity and got inside the car immediately.


"Hai…" I said greeting her by keeping seat belt.


"Hai… are you ok?" she asked glancing at me for a moment while starting the car. I can see the genuine concern in her eyes which surprised me again because I have never seen this side of her. But maybe she left her hate behind now and this was the real Omisha who was Abhi's best friend. 


"To say frankly, I feel stupid but overall excited and nervous at the same time." I said smiling awkwardly while fidgeting with my fingers in my lap while my thoughts drifted to Abhi again. 


"Don't worry. Everything will be fine. He will definitely forgive you the moment he sees you there" she said chuckling which made me somewhat better knowing that everything will be fine at the end and smiled at her by nodding my head.


"And... I wanted to say sorry for everything. So, take this lift as a compensation for all the things I have done to you in the past" she said smiling apologetically at me by glancing at me for a moment and looked in front of her again. This time i smiled genuinely and nodded my head in acceptance. We spoke for some more time about our life and other things on the way and after a few minutes we reached the destination that was waiting for me. 


I can feel myself getting nervous and anxiety took over me but she took hold of both my hands in hers after parking the car and squeezed them in assurance while giving me a kind smile and encouraging me to face him. I am thankful for her at this moment for giving me hope and assurance which is needed. So, I nodded my head and got out of the car by walking slowly towards his direction. 


But the minute I saw him sitting there on the bench watching in front of him, I wanted to be in his arms and cry my heart out to let him know how much i love him and how sorry I am for hurting him. 


He glanced at my way when he listened to our car sound and got up when he saw me getting out of the car. I was unable to control myself when he looked in my direction, so I started running in his direction to reach him as soon as possible and too was coming towards me by speed walking. I can see his shock, surprise, confusion and curiosity in his eyes to which i wanted to laugh, but my emotions were following out with such intense feeling which made it difficult for me to laugh in this situation. 


When I reached near to him, i immediately hugged him tightly by jumping on him with all my might. I never wanted to let go of him again and will make sure of it. And I am thankful that he too caught me on time and hugged me with the same passion that is reflecting through me.  Now, I feel like I am complete with me being in his arms like this and wanted the time to stop at this moment itself…. He is mine and mine only. My Golu… My Abhi...

Leon kept his distance for the next few days but I think it was because of Rune. Rune was not happy and I couldn't blame him. Not only was Leon's men out searching for information, Rune had his own men out looking. All I could really do was pace.. back and forward.

I thought of going back to the human world and asking my parents but thought better of it. They think I'm dead for crying out loud. Like... Hi Mom and Dad.. I know you think I've been dead and all but I just need to know something... Am I adopted?? Pshhhh… I run my hands through my hair and blow out in frustration. 

I hate not knowing what do to.. not having anything to do. "Syn?" Leon's voice snaps me out of my thoughts and I turn to find him watching me. "Yeah? What's up?" I ask trying to calm myself. He takes a few steps closer but stops a few feet back. "Look.. I feel like things are becoming all twisted between us.. I know you know I see you as someone special.. someone I care about... Someone I like BUT I also know that you love Rune and I won't come between that."

I look at him confused and say "You just said that if I was the missing child then I was your only chance at having a child.. that I would belong to you.. so how is that not coming in between us?" He gives me a sad look and says "As much as I wish you are the missing child, I don't think you are. I care about you Syn and if by some change you are that missing child... I will make sure no one finds out about it."

I look at him in shock as I try to understand what he just said. "You're saying that even if I am that child.. your only chance at children.. that you would still allow me to walk away?" My skepticism clearly on my face making him smile again.

"Ever since I was young I was told of the time I would find my mate.. My one true mate. I would fall in love and she would love me.. we would have kids and become a powerful coven but this? I love you Syn.. but you love another. I can't make you love me and I don't think you could ever love me as much as you do him.. I want a woman who loves me like you love him and I know I can't have that with you so I'm not going to force it... besides.. I heard adoption is pretty popular with the humans." 

I laugh at his lame attempt at lighting the mood and say "Yeah I hear it's really good.." We look at each other for a few moments "Am I interrupting something?" Rune says walking up behind me and slipping his arm around my waist. "No, not at all. Did you find anything out?" I ask turning to him.

"As a matter of fact, I did. My men also tell me that your men also found something as well Leon.. Care to share?" Rune ask and I watch as Leon turns from Rune to me with a sad smile "You Know exactly what my men found Rune." Rune's grip tightens and my heart sinks... no way. No freaking way!!

My thoughts must be plain to see beacuse I see Leon give me a painful smile. "I always keep my word Syn... As for what was found.. We will leave it at nothing. Now if you'll excuse me.. I have other things to take care of." Leon walks up to me and looks down at me with a gentle, sad smile. He bends down low in a bow and says "If you ever need anything.. don't ever hesitate to come to me."

My heart breaks in a way I can't explain as I watch him stand and walk away. I was really the missing child? He really was going to walk away... walk away out of love for me? I feel my chest tighten and I find myself rubbing it. Rune pulls me close and says "Nothing will change.. Leon and myself destroyed any and all information leading back to you."

I turn to him and burry myself in his wide chest. My mind races with the information but I'm greatful.. I love Rune... I care about Leon but I don't love him, not in the way he wants or needs. I was safe.. we were safe. My mind races at the thoughts of parents I never knew.. what does this mean for me now? Rune tightens his hold and I force all the thoughts away. I'm just happy we can still be together.. and I have Leon to also thank for that.

Syn is just your normal DJ at a night club enjoying life until she lands herself in another world with no idea why or how. Even if the new world is magical and the supernaturals are beyond hot... She needs to find a way to return and fast!
