This is my story that how I got the power to see the future in my dreams. 
My self Yuri. I am 19 years old and I am studying in college in medical course. 
I'm alone there is also second person who can see future in dreams, and I am fighting with him,  because he is helping people with wrong pattern.

I was been so happy to see him alot. My love one always be the best one for me. I always do anything for him and its hopes and dreams. But there something up with my love one and he does not feel right at all. He looks very sick and I don't know why he is sick. Is it because he has cat tail and ears. Probably he can't stop cumming alot I do not even know. But what make him sick. Could it be his home world. I do get it I think he only need is to get home to his home world. If he goes home I won't see him again. Because I only see him on my dreams. I wonder why my dreams is just a black background in my head. I think only way to tell him to say goodbye. When I approached to my love one and I said I think we need to talk. My love one is thinking strangely and said go on. So I said you need to go back home to your home world. My love one said why. Then my love one threw up and I said your are sick we still meet each other in dreams. My love one feels upset and said okay I'll go home. Then later that night I was upset and start missing him. I only want is to make him feel better. Then at my dreams I see him. We playing together and alot. That's why we have good dreams and bad dreams. Thing can't be real that's why love is real things aswell. So they are happily ever after. The end.

Hailey’s POV 

I dialed his number. I remember his number from the heart. 

“Hello?” Alex’s voice came. 

Listening to his voice, tears came to my eyes. 

“A-Alex,” I said. 

I heard pages rustle and then I heard his grasping some air. 

“H-Hailey? Is that you!?” 

“Y-Yes Alex,” I said. 

“Oh god, are you okay!?” 

“Yes, I am,” I said. “How are you? And mom?” 

“We’re good, Hailey... b-but you? Where are you!? When are you coming back?” 

“I-I can’t come back, but I am good Alex,” I said. I heard him sighing. 

“Does he hurt you?” he asked. 

“No” I replied. 

“You sure? You seem like you’ve been crying” 

“Yes... I-I just got emotional hearing your voice. I miss you Alex” I confessed. 

“I miss you too sis,” he said. “so. you aren’t coming?” 

“No… I am sorry Alex” 

“Don’t be” he said. “One day you will get out of that devil’s--” 

“He’s not a devil!” I said. “He is just… hurt” 

“Hailey. Mom always taught us to see good in others. But not when… he- well, he destroyed you!” 

“Believe in me, I will make everything fine,” I said. 

“I do,” he said. 

“Bye Alex” 

“Wait. When will you call again?” he asked. 

“If everything is fine, then soon” 

“Okay, I will wait desperately, sis” 

“Don’t try to find me please Alex. I am safe and will return if everything turns out fine” 

“IF? There is no if, Hailey! You have to!” 

“Y-Yeah. Bye!” 

“Bye” 

I lowered the phone as tears fell from my eyes. This is so beautiful, talking with him after so much time. I can’t believe he let me do this. I think we will soon be good. 

I made the dinner after that and did exactly what I always do, made the best I can. I took the dishes and then arranged them on the dining table while he was working on his laptop again. 

After serving all dishes, I thought to talk to him. 

“R-Robert,” I said. 

He looked at me and then at dinner. He smiled. 

“Here’s your phone,” I said and handed him the phone. He looked at the phone and then at me. He looked quite shocked. 

“Did you have a good talk?” He asked shaking off the expression. 

“Y-Yeah, kind of... I-I mean it was... uh... emotional” 

He nodded and then made me sit next to him. Again, those memories. Why is it the same case with everything? 

He looked at me and saw the fear in my eyes. 

“I usually love to see the fear in other’s eyes,” he said. “But I don’t like it right now” 

I lowered my head and nodded. 

“I mean don’t be scared” 

I looked at him and smiled. 

He can change in the blink of an eye, right? 

 I just can’t believe that he was the one who did that to me that day. 

Then we had the most peaceful dinner I ever had with him. We went to the bed and laid down. 

“Night,” he said. 

“Good night” I replied. 

Doesn’t it look like a perfect dream? 

 I mean, is it possible that in real-life, someone can change so much? 

‘But he hasn’t changed. You said that you are removing his mask, dumbo!’ my subconsciousness said. 

‘Shut up’ I said. 

She speaks too much at times. 

I closed my eyes and a song started playing in my mind.

It is crazy how it fits just the situation I am in, right? 

I mean, anyone would literally call me crazy if I tell them that I am healing him. 

 

“You look beautiful when you smile” I heard a voice. I opened my eyes and I noticed the song wasn’t in my mind, but it was being played on his phone. 

“You also think it’s crazy right?” he asked. 

“What?” I asked him. 

“Helping me” 

“Nope,” I said. “I think that people will say that. But as the song says, I don’t care” 

He smiled. “You are different… much different” 

I smiled back, not knowing what he meant by ‘different’. 

 

I closed my eyes again and this time, I fell asleep. 

Robert’s POV 

[flashback] 

“…. set them free” Hailey completed her sentence. 

That time, I felt something. She was... absolutely correct. It is true, I-I am scared of my demons. 

And that is why I want to hurt her… 

Or I am bound to hurt her. 

 And the fact that she understands me, the way no one ever did, that is... that just makes her special. 

I saw hurt in her eyes once again. I can let her talk to Alex, it would not hurt. 

So, I gave her my phone and she smiled. She was beyond shocked and I liked that expression. 

She was impressed… maybe just by herself. 

That look showed that she felt as if she just had a small victory. 

The same she had when she told me about the negotiation. 

 

I-I was not knowing why she went there. 

I should have let her explain. 

 

Anyway, when she came back and gave me my phone back, I was kind of shocked. I thought she would have kept it or would not return it. But she was trustworthy… at least this time. 

 

Her food is very delicious, as always. But words of praise have never left my mouth. 

As we laid on the bed, I saw her. How she must be feeling. 

This is the first time I was thinking about how others must be feeling. 

 

I played the song I thought would match her conditions. She smiled after the song was completed. 

She looks beautiful when she smiles… and I spoke it by mistake. 

I was happy she didn’t reply or react to it. 

 

I slept after that. 

 I decided to not go to MO that night. I told Max to handle it. 

Yeah, MAX. I don’t care about anything; he is still my right-hand man and no one is as skilled as him. 

 

Hailey’s POV 

I got up and as expected he was not beside me. He always wakes up first. 

But something is wrong. 

Fuck. How can this alarm not ring? 

It is 7 AM. 

I got up hurriedly to see if he has gone or not. I ran down the stairs and saw him sitting. I went to him. 

“I-I am sorry, I- I don’t know why the alarm-” 

“I switched it off,” he said. “But for now, can you please make breakfast? I am dying” 

Wow. He knows how to use hyperbole and a hint of humor too! 

“Sure”

"Am I selling myself!?"I found myself asking. "Yes" he replied without any emotions.  She was sold to the most eligible billionaire of NY. He forced her to marry him-- and no, it wasn't love. It was hate. It was the need for revenge. It was all... Fake. Will this fake marriage ever amount to real love?

Caccha Wanted to see Isabelle badly. for the past month, he has been doing nothing but training, and so he took the day off to go see the love of his life.
Isabelle was also doing training. So she was happy to see Caccha after a long three months.

Caccha: Isabelle! How are you!
Isabelle: Caccha! it's nice to see you!
{The two hugged for a few seconds, before Isabelle grabbed Caccha by the hand, and brought him to her room to chat. once in the room, Caccha plopped onto her bed, followed by Isabelle doing the same}
Caccha: It seems you haven't changed Isabelle
Isabelle: Speak for yourself caccha. the first thing you do is ruin my bed the minute you come in.
Caccha: Not true!
Isabelle: So, have your weird dreams gotten any weirder?
Caccha: Yea... they are getting very weird..
Isabelle: Tell me!
Caccha: Well, for starters, it seems the person I've been dreaming about is a very bad person. constantly being chased and beaten up. it's very odd as to why. sometimes I get little hints about who he is. but lately, it seems he is being known as a "Child rapist" Whatever that means..."
Isabelle: It seems that he isn't from our world. mabey somebody from a different planet?
Caccha: Who really knows. it seems nobody from my dreams can use magic. in my dreams, the idea of magic is widely seen in things called Anime and comics. it seems nobody can actually use it.
Isabelle: That must suck....
Caccha: But they have things like guns and tasers, and there weapons nobody in our world ever knew of! it's amazing how alike yet different my dreams are from reality.
Isabelle: Did your parents make you go to a therapist yet?
Caccha: Nope. because I never told them about it. I don't need them to now. i want to know a lot about my dream world before I tell them. so until then, I will only tell you.
Isabelle: Hmm, I've heard stories of dreams like that meaning indications of mabey a past life? life before the one your currently in?
Caccha: So you think I'm not from this world?
Isabelle: No, you obviously are, I'm saying you might not be fully you caccha. you may be part of this Shinko person.
Caccha: I honestly wish I knew somebody with dreams like mine...
Isabelle: If I had dreams like yours, things would be easier...
{they both stop talking about Caccha dreams and instead decide to talk about how training was going and how their kingdoms are.}
Caccha: Oh yea, I remember something that happened about three months ago.
Isabelle: What is it?
Caccha: Apparently, my father was talking to misho about people called teleporters.
Isabelle: Hmm. I've heard rumors that there bad people...
Caccha: Have you met one?
Isabelle: No. but I don't want to. apparently they are people who only like destruction...
Caccha: But we don't know that! they could be good! 
Isabelle: I know, I'm just saying. my mom said to run if I ever see one....
Caccha: Hmm... i might dive into the mystery of teleporters... Why there so hated....
Isabelle: Who knows? Mabey its false rumors, but mom got me to belive them...
Caccha: Well... i have to go soon. it was nice seeing you...
Isabelle: Yea... nice seeing you to Caccha.
{As caccha left, he had one thought in mind. FInding a way to show isabelle a teleporter. then, to ask her to marry him.}

The world is diverese. people of diffrent racses religion, and magic abilites. Most people are born with magic, others are born with nothing. Spells are like living cratures. some have lifepans. some longer than others. as new spells are made, others are removed. it is a world in which anything can happpen, and just about everything does.

I don't have dreams like normal people. There's always something in them, not necessarily human nor creature like that is neither frightening nor out of place in the normal way. It's not the dreams are terrifying with monsters in creatures abnormal in them, but they're just different.
I suppose that it starts with the fact that I never see anyone's face in my dreams. Although I am perfectly aware they have faces, the people in my dreams are faceless. The place where any expression should be is blurred or scratched out. I wonder how this shows my outlook on others. My therapist would say it's social anxiety, my mother would say it's lack of imagination.
The only other commonality in my dreams is the butterflies. Although it's rare I see more than one, I always see a butterfly in my dreams. But the thing about these butterflies is that they're never colorful. They are very much like normal butterflies, deprived of any patterns or colors on their wings, they are merely black and white.
Void of any ornate beauty that a butterfly possesses that we are so knowledgeable of, the butterflies in my dreams are simple. I vaguely remember learning in the seventh grade science class that butterflies can't see their wings. No matter how hard they look they would not be able to see their own beauty.
I wonder then, and I still do now, if that is a metaphor for life. Perhaps saying that the butterfly couldn't see you some wings so I did not know its own beauty was like telling you not to judge yourself on what you see. Even if you look into a mirror you're only seeing the opposite version of you, the flipped one from another world.
So even though butterflies, in their great beauty are ignorant, they still possess an innocent appearance. It confuses me, bewilders the mind. How can something with the wings made of many patterns, colors, shapes and sizes be something so rare and beautiful?
What does this butterfly think of itself if it cannot see its own wings?
I'm probably asking the wrong question here. I shouldn't ponder too much on a dream. I don't believe those ideas of psychological value that we manifest in our dreams. Because if we are truly manifesting our dreams, why am I manifesting a butterfly?
I could dive into it, but let's be honest I'm too lazy to do that.
"That's right you are."
I open my eyes, looking over at the man who's leaning above me. I know who it is immediately by his smug smile.
He looks mostly the same, despite the change in his outfit. Now he is wearing a red cloak with golden patterns on the edges. His long black hair is down, some of it on me. Besides the cloak, which reminds me of something a wizard would wear, he is dressed all in black. He looks nothing like a devil, or at least what my mind would imagine him as when I'm not feeling lonely and have access to the internet.
"I knew that voice putting me to sleep sounded familiar. It was too sleazy for it to be anyone else."
"Wow! Hittin' me where it hurts, not very nice."
"Good, I wasn't trying to be nice to you."
"That's not what you say to the person who saved you."
"Well you wouldn't have done it unless there was something in it for you. I know you're the type of person who is driven by personal profit."
"Well, you got me in a corner Evan."
"It's Anya now," I grunt.
"I'll still call you Evan if you don't mind."
"I don't," I let myself smile a bit.
"So how'd you sleep?"
"It was–hey! Are you trying to get me off course from the previous topic? What are you trying to hide, Devil?"
"A lot. Also I would prefer if you didn't call me 'Devil'."
"Then what would you prefer?"
"Marcus."
I break out into laughter.
"Marcus! Your name is Marcus?"
"Yes, what's so funny about that?"
"The dude who was my nurse at the hospital was named Marcus. I honestly didn't expect you to be named that. I thought it'd be something foreign and fancy or like a number."
"You read way too many novels."
"What can I say, I was bored."
"How has it been so far?"
The tone of his voice shifts as does the mood in the room. His body language is stiff and almost tense, as if he is waiting for something bad. I sit up.
"Okay."
"Just okay?"
"Yeah, not great, not terrible. I guess that I'm just confused and lonely. Probably a little overwhelmed as well."
"I suppose I can understand that."
"Yeah," I lean my head down, avoiding his eyes.
"Hey," he grabs onto my chin, pulling my head to face him. "You know that I'm omnipotent right? I see and know everything."
"I know."
"Then will you please tell me how you're feeling, that's the one thing I can't just know."
"I'm confused," I brush away his hand. 
"Well I'm sorry but the terms of our contract mean that I can't explain most of this to you until you figure it out on your own. Then I can fill in the gaps, but not until then. Or at least once you fall in love."
"Ha!" I scoff. It seems somewhat ridiculous that I agreed to that condition. "So how long do I have until I lose a sense?"
"Two years. Don't worry about it."
"You're cute, 'don't worry'. How can I not?"
"Well you did the right thing by breaking it off with the prince. Playboys are jackasses and rarely ever do they revert from their rude behavior."
"Yeah."
We sit in sullen silence, the air filled with the awkwardness between contractor and I. The light from the windows tell me that it is early morning. Not as early as last time, but it's clear that at least a day has passed. I wonder if I'll be able to cut my hair...
"That song...where did you learn it?"
"What song–ah, the one I played on the piano?"
"Yes, it was rather beautiful."
"Well I am a pianist...but since you're wondering..."

Wyn has never enjoyed the smell of a clinic. He hates the smells of sickness and drugs, of tears and sad people. He hates the smell of psychiatry clinics despite it not being a medical clinic. He hates the smell of disinfectant and alcohol rubs, and he especially hates the smell of the clean, white robes that doctors always wear. It is a pet peeve of Wyn's that he can't quite explain. He simply hates it.
It was the smell of disinfectant that greeted him when he stepped into the psychiatry clinic with Robin. He scrunched up his nose in irritation at the smell as his psychiatrist greeted him with a smile.
"Look who it is," Eve grinned as Wyn and Robin entered her office. "I haven't seen you in a while, Wyn."
Eve is an older woman. Her dark brown hair that is always tied up in a ponytail matches her round and brown spectacles that perches on the tip of her nose. Her big, blue eyes are soft and kind, allowing her patients to feel comfortable and relaxed in her presence. Wyn, however, is not one of those patients.
He hates being treated. He hates discussing his depression with anyone and he hates the hypnotism that Eve puts him under, but today, Wyn has no choice but to go along with it. Though he had lost his inspiration to continue his web comic series, he still cared about the stories that he had written and drawn. They were the result of years of painstaking effort, and Wyn could throw everything away, his fame, his fortune and his relationships, but not his stories. It is the one thing in the world he cares about. Fairytale Town belongs to him, and the last thing he would want is to have his copyright snatched away.
Wyn moved to the soft, white leather massage chair in Eve's office, settled down and closed his eyes without a word.
"Excuse him," Robin said. "He has no manners."
"It's okay," Eve nodded her head. "What matters is you're here now," she looked at Wyn.
She obtained a notepad and a pen from her office table and proceeded to take a seat on the marble chair next to the massage chair. As Eve scribbled something on her notepad, Robin took a seat at the white leather couch at the side of the office.
"Tell me, Wyn, how are you feeling?" Eve asked gently.
"Annoyed."
"I can tell you're pretty tense," Eve lowered her voice into a soothing whisper. "Now, before we begin the hypnosis, let your mind relax. Don't think about anything at all. Focus on my voice…"
Though Wyn hated visiting the psychiatrist, it would be a lie to say that Eve's tender voice did not soothe him. He liked her light, pleasant voice, but hated the fact that he had to share his personal stories and dreams with a stranger he did not trust.
"Now, as you listen to my voice, you're going to fall into a deep slumber…"
As Eve hypnotised him, Wyn's mind travelled away to a faraway land. In an instant, the idyllic island that always appeared in Wyn's dreams appeared in his mind. He could see the blue, crashing waves, the golden brown sand and the big, willow trees. He could see the colourful shophouses, the glittering blue dust in the air and the magnificent castle above the clouds. These images were all too familiar to him. They appeared in his dreams at random and have been for as long as he could remember. The island would appear in his dreams with several blurred figures. There would always be two girls and one man. Sometimes, there would also be an old man in his dreams. However, he could only see their faint silhouettes in his dreams, and no matter the amount of hypnotism that he underwent, he could never see the faces of the people in his dreams. On some days, the dreams of the island would be pleasant and happy. On other days, the dreams of the island would be dark and scary. The dreams would repeat at random. Sometimes, the dreams would recur for days or weeks. Sometimes, new dreams in the same island with the same people but in a different context would come to him.
Wyn have always wondered what this island and the people in his dreams mean to him.
He does not know why these dreams constantly come to him. For a period of time, Wyn was determined to discover the meaning behind his dreams for it was not normal. But after a while of searching and discovering nothing useful that could point to why he was having these strange dreams, he gave up. Even Eve, his psychiatrist that the company had hired for him, could not get to the bottom of these odd dreams. The only thing she could do is to help Wyn remember his dreams vividly through hypnotism.
"What do you see, Wyn?"
"I see…" Wyn found himself in a pub in the island. It was a lively pub with a huge crowd who appeared to be celebrating something. "I see a pub. I see drinks."
In Eve's office, Robin scoffed. "The guy is thinking about drinks even in his dreams. How fitting."
Eve shushed Robin with a frown before focusing her attention back on Wyn. "What is happening in the pub? What are you doing there?"
"I have a drink in my hands," Wyn depicted what he saw. "There are three people seated with me…" Wyn recognised them as the two girls and one man who always appeared in his dreams. "I think…I think I'm happy."
Wyn's brows furrowed as the dream continued in his mind. This particular dream was a cheerful one. The people in his dream chatted, smiled and laughed at each other. Suddenly, a beer mug fell to the ground and shattered into pieces. The dream changed. Darkness enveloped him. The atmosphere was now tense and scary. Wyn was confused. He saw a blur of different people and situations in front of him. He could not make out what it was, but he knew the dream was no longer happy.
Gone were the smiles and laughter. Tears, screams and shouts pierced through his ear. A throbbing pain made its way into Wyn's mind and he popped his eyes open…
Wyn's body ached terribly. As he slowly regained his consciousness and the feeling in his limbs, he could feel thick, grainy sand against his bare skin and sharp, spiky objects poking at his back. The sound of tranquil waves and seagulls screeching reached his ears as his eyes fluttered open steadily. His vision was blurry, but he could make out the outline of the azure sky, the fluffy white clouds, and the shrieking seagulls above him. He pulled himself up slowly, using any energy he had left in him to bring himself forward.
He rubbed his eyes, but his vision was hazy. Even so, he could see the pale blur of cascading waves crashing to shore in front of him. He realised he was at a beach, and all of a sudden, the memories of the previous night returned to him. He remembered how he stole the tickets to the Promised Land. He recalled his enthusiasm and excitement of leaving Springton, only for his hopes and dreams to be crushed in the terrifying moment when he was thrown overboard into the deep, dark ocean. As his eyes travelled across the hazy beach, he wondered where he was and how he survived. Before he could figure out an answer to his queries, his eyes landed on a faint silhouette of a girl. Several feet away from where he sat, he could make out a hazy figure of a girl with long, wavy black hair who was tending to a warm fire that Wyn did not realise was near him until he saw it.
The girl turned around promptly at Wyn's gaze, as if she knew that he was staring at her. Wyn watched with blurred vision as the girl approached him. His cloudy eyesight prevented him from recognising her features, but he could hear her voice.
"You're awake," the girl's voice was soft and gentle. She crouched down to meet
Wyn's eye-level. "How are you feeling?"
Wyn stared at the girl. As he opened his mouth, ready to speak, he suddenly felt a throbbing pain in his head. His eyes shut in pain and he squeezed his head with his right hand tightly, desperately trying to stop the discomfort in his head.
"Are you alright? What's happening?"
The girl's kind voice was the last thing Wyn heard before he felt his mind go blank. In an instant, his hand dropped to his side and his back fell towards the sand and the tiny rocks behind him with a light thud. Once again, he slipped into unconsciousness, leaving the mysterious girl crouching over his body…

Hillcrest village is a rather isolated village with only around 200 people living in it. The village is surrounded by huge mountains that make it impossible to reach there from south and east by ordinary means. At the west side of this village in a small forest called 'Howling Woods' a kid around 6 years old can be seen doing various exercises from running to pushups for hours with a determined look in his face. This kid has rather good features with his long black hair, green eyes and his charming face. This kid is called...
''Ethan, you are pushing yourself way too hard... again.'' I am awakened from my trance-like training state by a familiar nagging voice. I look towards my right to see a 4 meter-long orange fox lying in the grass and watching me with bored eyes. This is not a strange sight to me however since he is my best and only friend, grumble. I gave him this name because his voice sounds like a grumble when he talks to me. I can understand him and other animals perfectly unlike other people for some strange reason. Maybe the same reason as me seeing various weird dreams like a pervert talking skeleton singing songs or people that can slash mountains with a wave of their swords? I also learned my training method from my dreams, The marine in my dreams were training like that so i tried to imitate them when i was 4. My body couldn't quiete handle it though so i toned it down to match my needs. 
I don't know if it is because of these strange dreams or for another reason I matured extremely fast. I learned things such as walking,reading and writing much earlier than kids my age. They used to call me 'The Genious'. But it didn't take long for my title to change from 'The Genious' to 'The Freak' after they learned of my weird dreams and 'my control over animals.' They think that i can control animals at will and they are scared I might be able to do the same to them one day. I can't do that however i can only speak to them, listening to me or not is completely up to them.
''Ethan, wake up!'' Grumbles,grumble in an annoyed fashion.
''Eh...Sorry. Did you just ask me something?'' I somehow forget what he asked me when I was deep in thoughts. I do that sometimes. His ears twitch in annoyance before he answers:
''Sigh, you do this everytime. Lost in your thoughts, always training. Why do you train so hard anyway?''
''This era is about to change... I need to be ready for it.'' I answer with a mature voice that shouldn't belong my age.
''... Did you see this in your dreams too?'' He asks in a doubtful voice.
''Yeah.'' I answer in a determined voice. I don't blame him for doubting my dreams, I feel blessed he doesn't think I am mad like the rest of the town. I don't doubt my dreams anymore though. I have compared my dreams with the books I have read untill now and realised some things in books match perfectly with my dreams such as country and people names. At first I thought this might be coincidal but when my dreams kept proving themselves over and over again I stopped doubting them. I just see them as a gift now.
'' Do you want to visit golden when you finish yout training?'' Golden is Grumble's son. Grumble is rather lazy and laid back but he is a good father, unlike mine who has gone to do some pirate stuff appearently. My mother has died after a few days from my birth. My only remaining relative is my big brother Robert. As for what kind of person he is... He is the nicest person i have ever seen. He is nice to everyone regardless of their gender or personality. He is a kind of person that can sacrifice himself to help someone he doesn't even know. Even if a person is unjust towards him he can just smile and forgive them the next moment. With my father's and my bad reputation he is actually the only reason I am not attacked by villagers. He is somewhat naive and I feel he is sometimes too good for his own good, but I love him anyway.
'' I am finished the training for today, but it is getting late so I will visit golden later. If I am late brother will nag at me again'' I reply with a happy tone. Just thinking about my brother is enough to put me in a good mood.
''I see, I shall accompany you to village, then I will go back to check on golden.''
We walked for a few minutes before I see a rock flying towards my face. I easily caught it however I knew my good mood is about to be gone when I see a bunch of child between 7-12 years old crowding in front of me.
''Hey,look. It is the freak and his monster.'' ''Stay away from us you little demon!'' I just look at them passively before turning around to go from another path.
''ROAR!'' Grumble has other thoughts it seems as he let's out a fierce roar and slowly walk towards them with an intimidating look.
An 11 year old boy drops to the ground on his bottom,looking pale like he just lost his soul while a 4 meter fox is closing on him.
''Y-You, w-what are you doing? Call your Monster back.'' He screams towards me with a shaken voice. It might have been amusing to watch this kid scare himself to death however...
''Grumble, forget it. Lets go.''
He grumbles something before following me to use another path, clearly dissatisfied with my decision.
''I was not about to kill them you know, they just need a little 'discipline' from this Fox. Why are you so tolerant with them? Letting them taunt you like that,hmph!''
''I am one day leave this shitty village and explore the world... but my brother will probably stay here. I don't want to cause him any trouble. They can't hurt me anyway, so just let them go.''
We exit the forest after a few minutes of walking, then it takes us around 10 more minutes to pass through the village to arrive in our house. Villagers us weird looks but no one bothers me unlike last time.
'Knock,Knock' I knock the door 2 times before my brother opens the door. And there he is... with his short black hair and brown eyes along with his trademark smile that looks stupid yet heartwarming at the same time.
''Look who's here~ I am surprised you are not late~'' He teases me before giving me a hug. I only feel like a normal kid when I am with my brother. ''I'm back'' I answer him while burying my head in his chest. He is only 15 years old, but I feel like there is nothing he can't solve in this world. I feel reassured just being beside him. He releases me and turns toward my friend. ''Oh, grumble is with you too, I see. He's in for a treat then~ Come inside, diner is alred-''
His voice is interrupted by a scream that would put an end to my uneventful life.
''P-Pirates are coming!''

He was betrayed,He was used, he lived a worthless life full of regrets. Fortunately or unfortunately for him afterlife exists, it is just nothing like he expected. He needs to find an answer for his existence and to do this he has to reincarnate to different worlds to temper his soul.

The sun was so fucking hot. 

I was standing in line to take my drivers test with my mother, and we were some of the lucky ones who got to wait outside rather than in the nice air conditioning. 

"You had better pass this, because we're not coming here again." She says, patting at her hairline which is beginning to collect sweat. She's a small woman, even more so than me. I got curves from my dad's side of the family, so I'm not a complete twig like her. But somehow she's still kind of terrifying, and I admire her for that.

"We both know that's not true." I smirk at her, and she rolls her eyes, but she's smiling.

"I got this." I say, stretching my neck forward to see the front of the line.

It's been four days since my dream. 

    The day of the dream, I hadn't really done anything. I had fed my dog breakfast and then gone back to bed until three, until I had to get up and get ready for work at five. Work had been busy, a pleasant distraction from thinking about my dream. The next days I spent mostly trying to busy my mind. I cleaned the house and my room (a pleasant surprise for my mother) gave my dog a bath, sorted out some clothes to sell for extra cash, stuff like that. My mom thought I was on drugs and I think she was seriously considering buying an at home drug test.

I've obviously slept since then, and no dreams like that have happened again. I had a dream that I was a mermaid trapped in disney world, and I swear to god, I could see the boy from the field standing outside my tank, watching me with those blue eyes that captured the moon so perfectly. I mean I know he had said he was from my dreams but... I heard that you can't dream about someone you haven't seen before, so where did he come from originally? A magazine maybe? Instagram? Just a random attractive stranger that my mind weirdly clung onto? Is it possible that my mind captured a snapshot of some random guy, added a personality onto him, and has been putting him into my dreams for years? Because the more I think back, the more I think I can remember him from previous dreams. Never really acting like a main character. More like someone walking by, or a bird with suspiciously blue eyes flying over me. 

I was snapped out of my thoughts by my mother pushing me by my shoulder. "Let's go, Dee." She looks at me from the corner of her eye as we slowly shuffle forward. "What were you thinking about?" She asks.

I shake my head. "I just had a weird dream is all." I feel her fingers tighten around my shoulder, and I look at her. Her face looks pinched, like she's trying not to let me see some emotion. 

"What kind of dream?" She asks, avoiding looking at me.

"Well, the dream itself wasn't all that impressive…"I look at her face, wondering if I should tell her something so personal. "But when I woke up, It felt more like a memory rather than a dream."  She was quiet for several minutes, her eyes glued to the back of the woman ahead of us. "Mom…?" I ask after the silence begins making me sweat worse than the burning sun.

"Look, I need you to promise me a couple of things." My mom is suddenly pulling me closer to her, so that she can speak more directly to me without others overhearing, as though she was about to tell me the meaning of life or some other big secret. 

I nod, staring at her suddenly wrinkled and worried brown eyes. "First, I need you to know, dreams can be very real."
"What do you mean by that?" I ask, stepping closer to her. 

"All I mean is… dreams have meaning in them, Dee. You don't just dream stuff for no reason. A lot of people think dreams are like foreshadowing, visions, if you must. I myself am one of those people. I take every dream I have very seriously, and I suggest you do too. Do you understand what I'm saying?" She stares into my eyes, and tightens her grip on my shoulder as though that's going to make me understand better. 

"Yeah… got it. And the second thing?" She stares at me for a second longer, like she's considering saying one thing, but then decides on another, and then lets go of my shoulders. 

"I need you to promise me that you're going to go in there and pass this fucking thing, because I literally never want to come back to this place ever again."

And then she was pulling me back into line, straightening her crisp white shirt, and facing forward, acting as though she hadn't totally just sounded like she knew exactly what was going on in my life right now.



    That night I didn't get home until almost one. 

I worked a late shift, and since I could now drive myself home, I decided to stop at a burger joint and get me some late night dinner. And because I was avoiding my own damn dreams, I ate inside and took my time, ordering seven soda refills. Which may have pissed my cranky waitress off, but bought me a little time to continue thinking about my current situation. 

I had compiled a list of observations: 

One: this guy was obviously some miserable creation my own lonely mind created to compensate for the lack of male presence in my life. 

Two: my mother probably thought I was dreaming about becoming a doctor and wanted me to take that into consideration when choosing what I was going to college for, and that's why she acted like a crazy person when I mentioned dreams. 

And three: I couldn't avoid sleeping forever. While I had been sleeping okay the last few nights, I had a weird sense of dread tonight. Like my brain just knew, that tonight, I would be returning to the field.

The last observation was extremely prevalent as I laid down in my soft bed after taking the longest route home possible. My mom had already gone to sleep since she had to work in the morning, and my dog too was asleep at the foot of my bed. I slipped my cold feet under her warm belly.

I covered myself up with my soft, knitted, mustard yellow blanket. I listened to the sound of my noisy, and yet somehow soothing fish tank that sat on top of my overflowing bookshelf across the room.

The last thing I thought of before falling asleep, was how my fan felt like a cool night breeze.


"Are you okay?" An unfamiliar voice asks me. 
I sit straight up, breathing heavily. A woman jumps away from me, as though I'm the one was creeping on her while she was sleeping.  She's large, both height wise and weight wise. She looks like a fat version of cinderella before she got her glass shoes.  She has a lovely, cream colored face with flushed cheeks and bright blue eyes. 

I look around. I'm laying in a field, but it's not the field I wanted to be in. This one was dried up looking, dead and sad in appearance. I looked up, and was surprised to find the same bright white moon from before. The moon assured me that I was in fact in the right place. Or, at least in the general vicinity of the right place.

My eyes fall back on the woman. She's still staring at me, but she is visibly uncomfortable and obviously wants to leave. "Yeah I just… have you seen a guy? Really tall with a tattoo on the back of his neck." I stand up, dusting dirt off my sleeping shorts. 

"Well sure." She looks at me, continuing to back up little by little. "Everyone knows everyone here." I furrow my brow at her, becoming increasingly frustrated with her avoidance tactic.

"Well can you tell me where to find him?" I ask, raising my brows at her. "Please, it's really important." 

"He's probably home or in his field." She points to our right.

"Thank you." As soon as those words leave my lips she spins around and practically runs away, her feet making loud slapping noises against the sad dead ground.

I shake my head, and turn to my right, making my way through the treeline, pushing that very strange encounter to the back of my mind. The forest is pleasantly thick, but not so thick that I can't see far enough ahead of me. I can see a house to my left a few hundred feet ahead of me. I presume that's the boy's house, which means the field shouldn't be much farther ahead.

I walk quickly, feeling slightly pressed for time. Last time it was days before I could come back, what if it's longer this time? What if it's a week, or a month, or a year? I don't really know this boy too much, but for some reason the thought of not seeing him for a year makes my heart knot up. 

The tight feeling in my chest makes my bare feet move faster. I barely feel the sticks and rocks stabbing into my bare feet. I barely notice the gorgeous, huge trees covered in wet moss and flowers blooming around me. Or the deer scampering about like I was in a god damn fucking fairy tale.

All I can think about is how much my chest hurts.

I run by the house, which I can see now is man made. It's one story, with a roof that's sagging inwards. Its surrounded by thick overgrown bushes with flowers blooming from it, and the sides are home to a dark green moss. I can hear voices leaking from the cracks in the iffy wall, and can smell meat cooking and bread baking. My curiosity peaks, but I press on. I'll try the field first, and if he's not there, then the house.

A few more hundred feet, and I come to the field. 

It's just like I remember. Long, luscious grass, vividly colored flowers scattered in clumps. 

"Delilah?" I hear his voice, and my eyes search frantically for his face. 

When I find it, my heart melts. He looks so glad to see me, but I can see a layer of worry in his eyes. 

He was to the edge of the field, but now he jogs towards me. He stops abruptly in front of me, bringing along the smell of fresh bread and blood with him. 

"How did you get here?" He asks, cupping my cheeks. His hands are rough from years of manual labor, but I still lean into them. They're warm and comforting in this strange place.
"Well, a girl woke me up and I was laying in the middle of a different field. She kind of gave me directions to you but she was acting really sketchy-" 

"I didn't invite you here." He interrupts. I furrow my brow at him, shifting my weight to my other foot and grabbing his hands that still cupped my face with my own. 

"Do you not want to see me?" I ask, the inner corners of my eyes tingling. Was I about to be rejected in my own dream? 

"No, no. Of course I want to see you. But Delilah …" He pauses, looking around me towards the house. The forest seems quieter than before, more still. Even the wind is waiting to see what he's going to say next. " I can't explain this to you here. It's not safe… too many people may be listening." I furrow my brow at his words, looking around us. There was literally no one. 
What did he know that I didn't? 

"Please, I need to understand. Why do these dream seem so real? Who are you? Where did you come from?" I drop our hands down, taking a step away from him."I will explain everything. I promise, Delilah. But you need to find this field outside of your dreams." He says, backing away from me. I hear that dammed whistle coming from behind me, and he moves me out of the way.

"You mean to tell me this is a real place?" I ask, my voice going up an octave. 

"Yes." Is all he says. "Now I must go. Please, be careful about coming here. The next person who finds you sleeping may not be such a gracious host." And with that, he runs off, leaving me alone in the field with a million questions burning on my lips.


This time when I wake up I'm not so sad and lonely feeling. 
I'm confused and a little irritated. 
I sit up, trying to process what I just dreamt about. 

What the hell did he mean, "find this place outside your dreams?" 

Were my dreams more than dreams? Was this a real place and a real person I was visiting and talking to? 

    I sat there in my bed, my fan blowing freezing air on my flushed face, my dog still sleeping at my feet. It was barely even dawn, my mom had only left for work a few minutes ago, and yet I felt as though I was ready to run a mile.

    I was confused and curious about my dreams, so I got up and grabbed my laptop off of my desk. 

I typed "what do my dreams mean" into the search bar and got a million and a half results, all telling me I was either going to die or I wasn't getting enough Vitamin D. 

    I tried googling, "dreams," "vivid dreams," and about a hundred other keywords. In the end, I came out with a few theories. I reinstated my previous theory, that my mind had just weirdly latched onto a stranger. But on a more supernatural (and unrealistic) note, I could be psychically linked to someone. But I'd never met field boy in real life, so could I be connected to him? 

    And then I started thinking about my mother. 

    Why had she reacted so strongly when I told her about the dream? Scratch that, I hadn't even told her about the dream in detail. I had literally just said, "I had a weird dream." Did she know what was going in? Did she too have these dreams? In the end I realized I would have to ask her if I wanted to get any actual answers.
