I'm really surprised how caring this man is. then I saw him got up. he doesn't have any clothes. I immediately put the blanket to cover my face.

I saw the old mirror that I brought that day. what I did is to climb to the top of the table and check every corner of the mirror.

then suddenly

my eyes widened. this mirrors is really responding to me.

yan: " yes... yes .. you are right... I'm Yan... " 

then I heard some words again.

???: " what are you doing in the mirror? " 

what am I doing in the mirror? w-wait!!! it is not the mirror who is speaking...

Yan: " what the hell..." 

I whispered .... then I slowly turned my head on the other side and saw lewei . i smiled with an uneasy feeling. 

[ ***RR***: he was wondering what she was doing here at the top of the table. HAHA!!!  this is really funny .... ]

then I saw him looked at himself.

lewei: " why? you don't like it ? "

Yan: " no... no... you have a good taste... are you going to a party? " 

he dressed like from the ancient time. maybe there's a party later.

lewei: " yes but just a small celebrate. " 

oh I see but why is it like this? anyway... I want to take a bath now. I was about to go down when he suddenly reached for my hand. this man is really a gentleman. he is really caring. 

then suddenly, he carried me.

Yan: " hey ... hey ... what are you doing? "  I blushed so hard.

lewei: " please Yan... don't climb at the top of the table. it's dangerous...

I just nodded to him and smiled but I'm trying to hide it... he started walking towards a door which may be the bathroom .... and as he opened it with his hand it was really a bathroom... he put me down...

lewei: " alright!!! take a bath now to refresh yourself... " 

then I saw him get some clothes for me.

Yan: " are we going to a wedding? " 

he gave me a white gown.

lewei: " no... what are you talking about? " 

oh no... he might suspect me.

Yan: " I'm just kidding... I will take a bath now... " I pushed him outside and closed the bathroom door.

lewei: " who is Harry? " 

there's no Harry here in the castle. I just acted like I know Harry but truly.... I don't know him .

it's the story of a girl. pass mistakes took her back. love from the past. will she be able to change her fate which she did. a love , a mistake, an undo and a travel.

End term exams had arrived and Magnus was only nervous about his potions lessons. He needed full marks in that subject in order to truly ace the exams.
"Okay, Severus, you keep your mental shields down, While you are making your potion I will look into your mind and copy it so that at least I can make a decent potion on the first try." Magnus requested. He didn't ask Ragnar because he knew Ragnar would try something funny.
Severus nodded, "Fine,"
Severus only agreed because Magnus didn't lack in theoretical knowledge. It's just that he sucked at brewing to the point where it was like a genetic fault.
They headed to the lab and occupied their stations and started brewing the potion. Nervously, Magnus tried to create the Potion, surprisingly, he found it very easy as he had practised it lots of times by now. But, he still looked into Severus' head just to be sure, after all, he wanted to ace the exams.
After the Potions exam was Charms exam, it was super easy for Magnus, but Ragnar sucked big time at it, so Magnus this time continuously gave him instructions in mind and helped him get good grades. In the end, Ragnar was also able to do all the charms, though not as strongly.
The 1st year exams didn't take that much time and after that, the students were free to do whatever they wanted to do until the end of term when the students can leave for home.
Severus went to sleep in his room, for some reason he had stayed up all night just to revise everything, it was a dumb thing to do as he was already completing the 3rd year syllabus.
So Magnus and Ragnar just left him and headed to the room of requirement to study or pass some time.
"You open the door, Ragnar, I will return in a minute, need to find Chad. Don't know where he ran off to." Magnus said and left.
Ragnar alone stood in front of the wall where the gate was supposed to appear. He was thinking about what he should make in the room. After a few seconds, he finally made a decision and walked three times in front of the wall and entered.
As soon as he entered he found his normal potions lab, then there was a library too. But, there was an addition to the room.
Ragnar went to a part of the room that seemed darker. There, he found a tall structure, covered under a big piece of cloth.
He quickly dragged the cloth down to look at what the thing was. It turned out to be a huge mirror. He looked into it in puzzle, having no idea what it even does.
He looked at the frame of the mirror, it looked old and had something written on it. "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi? Hmm... What does this mean?"
Ragnar wondered, and being well versed in runes now and having a good analytical mind, he quickly reached a conclusion. That the words were backwards, with the spaces rearranged.
"'I show not your face but your heart's desire?' What does my heart desire?" Ragnar asked, though already knowing what it was.
He took a few steps back and stood in front of the mirror. Then suddenly, instead of just being him, he saw a few more people in the mirror, standing just behind him.
He rubbed his eyes clean, but they again got filled with salty water called tears.
"M-mummy... Dad..." He breathed out and tried to touch the two figures. But, he only felt the cold hard mirror surface.
Ragnar silently looked at the smiling faces of his mother and father. "You were supposed to see me grow up and become a great wizard, just like what grandma used to say. That I will make our family proud. Who am I to make proud now?"
Ragnar took long breaths to control his tear ducts from leaking, he brushed his hair with his fingers, with a sigh of frustration. His eyes were red and his nose was about to start running.
Once again, looking at his parent's face, he scoffed, "What a useless mirror, If I just wanted to see their smiles I would have looked inside my mind. Mummy... I hope I will be able to talk to you again someday. Magic must have a way to do it, if as Magnus says, Heaven is real, then you must be there. Just wait for a little."
*PAT*
Magnus suddenly arrived behind him and put Chad on Ragnar's shoulder to cheer him up. Chad made circles around Ragnar's neck and meowed enthusiastically.
Magnus stood beside Ragnar and looked at Mr and Mrs Oroborus.
"Your parents were pretty. Now only if you had their charm." He joked.
Ragnar smiled, "Yeah, indeed. Do you know what this thing is?"
Magnus nodded, "Yes, Mirror of Erised, it's not that old, made in somewhere around 1800. Reason is unknown. The happiest and most satisfied person in the world would look in the mirror and see a reflection of them, exactly as they were, for they would then have no one and nothing more to yearn or desire for that the mirror could ever show them. But, it is intrinsically inherent for human nature to desire something greater than themselves.
"This mirror has made many people go crazy, at least that's what the book said. Perhaps, that's why it's rotting here."
"Why don't you stand here?" Ragnar suggested.
Magnus obliged, "Sure, let's see what my heart desires."
As soon as Magnus stood there, he saw his smiling parents in the mirror. Then, his grandparents and Bobby appeared, then Duck, Grandma Martha, Ted, Severus, Policeman Tom, Emma, Thomas Shelby. The crowd kept on increasing. Soon, even Ragnar appeared.
"Wait... why am I there? What's your desire exactly?" Ragnar asked in confusion.
Magnus replied while looking at the increasing number of people in the mirror, "My dream is something that this small mirror can not completely show, but, I also know it is impossible to achieve."
"What is it?" Ragnar asked again.
"What is the most common thing in this mirror right now?" Magnus questioned.
Ragnar looked at the various faces, "Umm... all of them are smiling, Ugh... Sev looks so weird with that big smile."
Magnus chuckled, "Hehe, well, that's my desire. World happiness, smile on everyone's faces, happiness everywhere. I have everything right now, Inheritence, money, power. But, I want to live in a world where I don't have to see someone dying of starvation, someone trying to divide us, someone trying to murder another.
"But, this is as good as me wanting to go back in time and meet Jesus or something. You can fantasise about it but it will always be a fantasy of your mind."
"Damn... Who knew our little dragon had such high-level dreams. Most would want gold, love or power, and here you are..." Ragnar muttered jokingly.
"Because I already have everything. There is no point in wanting more, even though I am automatically making money through my investment. But, I will never prioritise money over human life." Magnus pledged.
"A good moral to live by, my friend. *Yawn* Okay, I'm going to practice some N.E.W.T level potions today. Keep Chad away or I cannot guarantee his safety." Ragnar said and lazily walked to his lab.
Magnus held Chad by the nape and took him to the library. Where Magnus went to sleep. He couldn't just keep on studying forever.
He thought about his plans for summer break. ~Hmm... if I want to even partially fulfil my dream, I will need to take the throne as soon as I turn 18. But, I also need the people to support me for that. They love the queen, it cannot be denied, I need to win their awe, respect and love too.
"I'm 12, it's 1972, so 1978 is when I will become the king. I need to start from right now. But, how do I show myself as the legitimate king? I need to be related to the queen, maybe as her grandson, but for that, dad will need to be her son.
"But, I want to keep my name, so I may need to change mum's family background too. Maybe make her related to Arthur, so that the world will see me as a king related to the great King Arthur Pendragon.
"*Sigh* It seems I will need to meet the queen soon. Dad is going to become a prince this year and mum a princess, I guess.~ he decided and fell asleep.

"What are you doing here, Fletcher?" I ask when seeing him, grinning at me. 
"To show your memories, Feaubry (Minsoo)."
My brows bisect while my eyes gaze at him. Then, I leap out of (Taehyung) Araqiel's lap and stroll near Fletcher and implore, "H-how did you know I want to know my past?" 
He outstretches his hand, clasps around my hand, and replies, "Flynn (Jungmin) just told me that it's the time for me to reveal all your memories so I came here to help you, ascertaining your memories but for now, if you have questions, I'm here to answer it for you." 
"Why can't you just show my past?" I ask.
"We need to do that at midnight so we need to wait for more hours to show your memories." 
I smile at him and mumble, "I have questions about our mother, Euphemia." He nods. 
And so, I guide him to the couch as we both sit down, and I glance at Araqiel (Taehyung), who's staring at me.
"Araqiel (Taehyung), can you leave us for a moment? I just need to be alone with my brother." I suggest. 
"Okay, my room is in the last hallway, you can go there if you need me." I nod before he walks out of the living room and strides upstairs. 
Then, I breathe a sigh before glimpse at him. 
"What do you want to ask?" 
"Okay… is Euphemia a human?" He shakes his head, retorting my query.
"Euphemia… is a fallen angel like Araqiel (Taehyung)."
I look down, fiddling my fingers, and murmur, "h-how did she become a f-fallen angel?" 
"Well, when she visited the land, she met our father in the woods while they're hunting. Our father thought that she's the most beautiful woman he'd ever met so he did everything to make her fall in love with him. And when Euphemia felt her heart thump so fast, she asked her brother to forcibly exiled her to Heaven to be with our father. Yet, he didn't exile her without any reason so she decided to have a relationship with our father, got married and had their own family." He explains.
"So…"
"And so, Cyprus knew about this, he forcibly exiled her."
I glance at him, point my finger to him, and ask with hesitation, "so… y-you're the…"
"Yes, when Euphemia was an angel, she submitted herself to our father. So I'm a half-angel and half-wolf but the ability of an angel was more powerful inside my veins than being a wolf." He cuts my words and firmly replies to my query.
"What about me and Flynn(Jungmin)?" 
"Hmm… since you two are twins, there's a chance that between you has a full ability of a wolf and the other one has the ability of an angel. Flynn (Jungmin) is the first omega wolf but I don't know what is yours. Our mother doesn't tell me if you inherited the ability of a wolf or an angel." I then sigh and nod.
What I expect, I have an ability like Flynn (Jungmin) or Fletcher yet he has no idea what I have. I guess I'm just a mere human? Or… it has a chance that I have the ability of an angel. But what is it? 
I snap into reality when Fletcher taps my shoulder and utters, "You need to rest so you have the energy for your memories that I'll be showing to you." 
I only nod and stroll upstairs and look for Araqiel's (Taehyung) room. Later after, I hear his voice coming from the end hallway so I walk closer until attaining his room. I take a deep breath and murmur, "Just don't be shy and knock." 
But before I could knock, my body startles when he suddenly opens the door, smiles on his face before pushing me closer to him, and steps inside. 
He then closes the door and yanks me over his bed as he lays beside me and nuzzles around me. "A-araqiel (Taehyung), what are you doing? My two brothers are outside." I whisper yet he pulls me closer to him, wraps his arms around my waist as his head snuggles closer to my neck. 
"It's really weird when you call me by my name." 
"Then, what should I call you?"
"Mr. Angel."
"Mr. Angel?" He nods.
"When you were a little, you always called me Mr. Angel."
"Really? Then, I'll call you Mr. Angel. Or my angel." He chuckles as he pecks my nose and smiles at me. 
"You need to sleep. I know you are very tired so have a nice sleep…" I nod. Gradually, my arms muffle around his chest as his fingers brush the strands of my hair which soothes me. 
"Sleep well, my love."

Midnight has come and everyone prepares to take off Araqiel's (Taehyung) house. He picks some dress and bestows it on me. He then smiles at me before leaving his room, allotting a time to change my clothes. 
After altering my clothes, I glimpse myself in the mirror, staring at my reflection, and take a deep sigh. "This is it… Finally, I'll see my memories after long years yet why am I so nervous? I should be happy that all my questions will be answered tonight. I can do this… It's just my memories." I nod and smile at my reflection.
"Let's go." I murmur and walk outside the room and straight to the living room. They all stare at me, grinning when discerning my arrival. Flynn (Jungmin), on the other hand, bites his lips and looks away as if he's averting my gaze. 
"Flynn (Jungmin)…" then he darts at me with his teary eyes. I shake my head as I hit his head playfully. 
"Don't be. It's not your fault. You just hide everything to protect me." He nods, pouting at me before pulling me into an embrace. 
"Thank you for understanding me." I then chuckle and loosen the hug. 
Then, Fletcher stands up and figures to take off the house and step inside Conrad's car. 
Conrad (Daewool) peeks behind, looking at Fletcher, and asks, "Where are we going?"
"To the mansion," Fletcher replies as Conrad (Daewool) nods, launches the engine, and drives to the Mansion. 
After thirty minutes of travel, we stroll outside the car and directly into the Mansion. I look around and murmur, "I'm here again."
Flynn (Jungmin) holds my hand as he smiles at me.
"The mansion that we used to live in and to play with Jinwoo." I nod.
"Even if I don't remember, I feel the strong connection inside the house," I confess as my eyes wander at the calming ambiance of the mansion. 
"Fletcher, how long would it take showing her memories?" Furiad (Seojun) asks. 
"It takes more hours so Araqiel (Taehyung), I want you and the guys guard around the mansion." They nod. 
Thereupon, Fletcher looks at us and holds our hands and mumbles, "Let's go. We need to hurry." We nod and follow him behind. I lean closer to Flynn (Jungmin) and murmur, "Do you know where are we going?" 
"No… there are some rooms that we are prohibited to open and walk inside." I nod. 
As we reach the third floor and end of the hallway, Fletcher turns around to face us and informs, "This is the room where I hide the mirror of the memories. Let's go inside." We nod as we dawdle for him to open the door. 
Suddenly, Fletcher opens the door as we walk inside, and my eyes glimmer when glimpsing at the room. 
It's like an open room that could stargaze because of the glass ceiling. It can see all the stars and the bright pale moon outside which amaze me. Slowly, I wander to the center where the mirror locates. I glance at Fletcher, pointing out the mirror. 
"Yes, that's the mirror that could show your memories." Then, I glimpse at the full-body mirror and sit in front of it. 
Within a second, Flynn (Jungmin) sits beside me as he looks at the mirror and utters, "the mirror is very elegant." I nod. 
My head turns to face Fletcher, who's standing behind us.
"What are we going to do?" I ask 
Then, he sits beside me as he gives the knife to me. My eyes wide, staring at the knife and staggers away. "W-what am I going to do this k-knife?"
"Well, you need to cut your finger and when the blood comes out, you need to place your blood on the mirror also, you Flynn (Jungmin)." Slowly, nod hesitates to tug the knife.
Then, I take a deep breath as I bite my lips, and striving to look away when I hurriedly cut my finger. I wince, feeling the sting onto my finger as I give the knife to Flynn. And so, he does what I did.
"Close your eyes, place your finger with blood to the mirror and think of what you wish to show onto the mirror." I glance at Flynn, who's staring at me.
"Memories of our childhood until 10 years." Flynn (Jungmin) murmurs and I nod. 
We close our eyes as he places our finger with blood in the mirror and thinks of what we wish to know. Then after a minute, a light suddenly appears in the mirror. 
"I'll leave you behind and watch the memories that you want to see, Feaubry." We nod. 
Then suddenly, memories appear out of the mirror as our eyes focus on it.

The cracked pieces of the mirror fell from the surface, creating a silvery, tingling sound as they hit the ground. Behind the red mirror, the face of the smiling man was twisted. His smile was growing bigger the closer he was to death. It was as if the closer he was to death, the more he was unable to control his urge to laugh and smile.
"We are called non-smilers because father once said that we do not deserve the ability to smile." The man in the mirror seemed to have remembered something, and his lips curled open. Even through the mirror, one could hear this spine-chilling laugh like the words mentioned by his father were the most humorous joke in the world.
"Father?"
"He was a doctor at the hospital. He was not a good father, but he was the best doctor I have met in the world." There was a trace of pain in the man's crazed eyes. Other than that, there was also a trace of terror and passion. "Other doctors only care about treatment, but while he saves people, he has been busy killing them. He believes that both angels and demons are hidden inside the human heart, and for that, he has personally constructed a heaven and a hell."
"Is the cursed hospital the hell?"
"No, that is the heaven, but it is a heaven that everyone wishes to escape from!" The man in the mirror had exposed his true personality. He looked at Chen Ge and laughed happily. He seemed to enjoy having this conversation with Chen Ge.
"Since it is a heaven, why would people want to escape?" Chen Ge had a simple conclusion regarding the man inside the mirror—a mad man.
"That was my father's heaven, not our heaven." The man pressed his face against the mirror. The cracked surface printed on his face like it was cutting his face into pieces, and it looked startlingly scary.
"If the heaven is already so scary, what does the hell built by your father look like?"
"No one has seen the hell. Do you think the people who have entered the hell could stand here and talk to you?" The man's eyes were as wide as saucers. His mouth was opened to the maximum of a human's musculature limit. If his smile grew any bigger, it would have torn his face in half. "Hey, why are you so interested in that hospital? You already know some information about the hospital. When I said I was a teacher at this school, you realized immediately that I was lying. Is that because you have encountered other non-smilers before? You have seen my family? Or is it because you have also received an invitation from that school?"
The middle-aged man in the mirror was the epitome of evil, but he was also very clever. From a few details, he deduced a lot of information. Chen Ge normally would not waste time facing this kind of clever person. He silently gave a sign to Xu Yin so that he could find a chance to kill the man. Whether this man was enemy or friend, after he was killed, he would be turned into feed for the Haunted House. This was the lesson that Chen Ge had learned from his many interactions with Doctor Gao.
"Never mind. It doesn't matter whether it's because you have seen my family or you have received the invitation from that hospital. Once you are connected to that hospital, you are unable to escape. He will continue to appear beside you in various forms. Until one day, when you peel open your eyes, you will suddenly realize you are lying on top of a cold slab of operating table and starting a cursed game that is uniquely yours." The man's tone did not sound like he was threatening Chen Ge; he was merely stating an inevitable truth.
"I don't need you to worry about me." Chen Ge stared at the mirror. "You just mentioned that you have other family?"
"What? Can't you see it? Like you, I was once a living person. However, the things that accompanied you are friendship and family, but the things that accompanied us are pain and hatred. We spent our days in the eerie, despairing hospital, watching the spread of death and disease until they one day decided to crawl all over us."
Pa!
The man slapped his palm heavily on the surface on the mirror. His body was pressed hard against the many splintery gaps. "Father does not appreciate it when we cry, so we can only smile and laugh. When we are not feeling well, we need to smile; when we are sick, we need to laugh; the greater the pain in our heart, the harder we need to laugh! But no matter how hard we smile, he still does not like us. He said we have a horrible-looking smile, and he said that our smiles are not sincere!"
The man's laughter came from inside the mirror. His face was leaning close to the surface, knocking against it repeatedly. "But look, look at me! I am laughing so happily. Can't you see that I am laughing so happily‽"
Blood slid down the wounds. The man's face was cut by the sharp edges. He touched the blood on the corner of his lips. "We are smiling at every single moment, but we are called the non-smilers. Isn't that the most hilarious thing you have heard?"
"Perhaps I have a high laughing point, or maybe we are in a different mental space, but I can't see how is that funny. If you tell me more information about the hospital and the school, I can consider helping you." Chen Ge had interacted with many mad people before. He was not a doctor and was unable to cure these people. The only thing he could do was filter through these people's words, maintain his own determination, and prevent himself from being assimilated by the madness.
Actually, it was pretty hard to persuade Chen Ge away from his conviction. He had seen a completely different world before. In a deep conversation, it would be hard to tell who was being convinced. Chen Ge could trade ideas with certain people, but this man was definitely not one of them.
"Looks like my guess was correct. You have seen my family before! Who could it be? My poorest big brother? The youngest, dumbest little brother? Or my big sister who still has her complete body? Or could it be my other sister? No, wait, that's impossible. If she has seen you, she would have fallen in love with you and would stop at nothing to kill you."
"Can you please shut up for a moment?" Chen Ge realized that when the man shed his disguise and exposed his true self, the true self was a very chatty person. "From now on, I will do the questioning, and you only need to answer."
"Okay, I will tell you everything that I know. You have met my family before. I believe it won't be some kind of happy memory. I…" The man leaned closer to the surface until his body was almost forcing its way through. Blood flowed on the surfaced on the mirror, but the man did not appear to be in any pain. Madness and illness were not adequate terms to describe this man anymore.
However, once the man did this, Chen Ge noticed something else. This man who called himself a non-smiler was dressed fully in red. He was a bona fide Red Specter!
Chen Ge thought back to the non-smiler from Li Wan City. He realized that this whole family of mad people appeared to be Red Specters.
"What is your relationship with the patient that's escaped from the cursed hospital? Why did he end up trapping you inside the mirror?" Chen Ge got straight to the point, but internally, he was thinking about something else. This Red Specter appears to be in his weakest moment. After killing and consuming him, perhaps there will be a new Half Red Specter amid my rank of employees.
"We were in a cooperative relationship. With my power alone, I was unable to escape from the hospital, so I needed a helper."
"How did you end up being trapped by him behind the mirror?"
"After escaping from the hospital, our goal was achieved. Both of us wanted to kill the other, so that was normal."
"That's normal?" Chen Ge still had a hard time placing himself in the shoes of a mad person. "And then what? You were apprehended by him and got sent inside a mirror?"
"Neither of us could really harm the other. The plan we had was to hide behind another door after we escaped from the hospital, but to our surprise, there was a very scary presence behind this door. It is on the same level as the hospital." The man in the mirror pointed at the top of his head. "Have you seen the eye outside the window?"
"The eye outside the window?" Chen Ge frowned. "You mean the blood red sun that has been shining on the entire School of the Afterlife?"
"Yes, it is the real owner here. The few fights between me and my partner attracted its attention, so we wished to find a back-up plan for ourselves." The man seemed to have read Chen Ge's mind already. "We wished to find a path that we could use to enter and leave the school. We put aside our differences and went into another cooperation. We noticed one peculiarity about this place—you could not find a normal mirror in the entirety of this school."
"You noticed that as well?"
"The owner of the school appears to have difficulty facing its reflection. It hates itself, and it has given up on itself. It refuses to see itself." The man's words caused Chen Ge's eyes to grow large. He had realized something important.
"Go on."
"So, we started to look for mirrors. Then we came to a startling discovery. In this school, every single mirror is made from a memory. The mirrors are hiding someone who hates themselves. Looking at our previous selves is not dissimilar to thinking about the past. We have looked through many mirrors, but an accident happened during our search. This mirror that I am in is different from other mirrors. I found myself trapped in here after entering it." The smile on the man's face sent chills down Chen Ge's spine. "After my partner noticed the strangeness, he did not follow me in here. That was truly sad. I should have acted more authentically back then to trick him."
"Even in that situation, you wished to entrap your friend? You are truly a sick person that has no cure." Chen Ge studied the mirror with a new eye. He also slowly discovered the difference between this mirror and the other mirrors. The blood on the surface was all inside the mirror, and there was a layer of dust that could not be rubbed away on the surface. The edge of the mirror had signs of being charred.
This has been burned before. Whose memory could this mirror be carrying? The painter's or the first 'door-pusher' that entered the School of the Afterlife?
Chen Ge's original plan was to kill the man inside the mirror, but now, he started to have second thoughts. If he wanted to kill the man, he would need to destroy the mirror or enter the mirror directly. Destroying the mirror meant destroying a valuable clue, and he might be trapped inside the mirror if he entered it. Chen Ge realized that the non-smiler in the mirror had altered the situation in a significant way without even realizing it. If he was not telling the truth and had created all these details to lie to himself, then this man was madder than Chen Ge thought.
It would be less worrying if such a clever and mad person was made into nutrients, Chen Ge thought, but the expression on his face did not change. "Other than the mirrors, what else did you find out?"
For the time being, Chen Ge did not plan to enter the mirror. He wanted to obtain as much information as he could.
"This school is far more dangerous than we predicted. Do not be fooled by the appearance. Other than that, I have seen many interesting things inside the mirror, but I am unable to tell you now because I am still inside the mirror. If I said those things, I might be eaten by the things inside the mirror." The man could not have been franker. He possessed a lot of information, but he would only tell Chen Ge after he was rescued from inside the mirror.
"I know what to do now. Ol' Bai, carry this mirror with you. We will leave the nurse's office first." Chen Ge wanted to wait for Zhang Ya to wake up before he continued dealing with the non-smilers. The best solution was to ignore him for now. "Find some abandoned clothes or something to wrap around the mirror; I do not wish to see the man's face."
Chen Ge was the first to walk out from the room. When Yin Bai and Lee Bing saw them, they were relieved and quickly hurried over. But once they saw Bai Qiulin and Xu Yin, who were following behind Chen Ge, they stopped where they were.
I need to find the patient that disguised himself as the doctor. Only by capturing him can I confirm the statements given by the non-smiler.
Chen Ge was concerned about the hospital. The non-smiler was right. He did not receive any mission related to the hospital from the black phone, but the things related to the hospital had already started to show up intermittently around him. He did not know how this would continue to progress, and that unsettled him somewhat.
I should focus on what is in front of me for now. When that day arrives that I have nowhere to turn, if worst comes to worst, I will lead the ghost fetus to the cursed hospital, and we will all perish together.
That was a good idea, but Chen Ge knew that the chance of that succeeding would be infinitesimally small.
For now, the only good news is that I still have time. Clearing this School of the Afterlife's mission will be the key.
Chen Ge glanced at Yin Bai and Yan Fei. The two children were weak and needed other people's support to help them walk. The fact that they were the people who were qualified to be the 'door-pushers' was probably very hard to believe.
"Zhu Long, Wang Yicheng, and the rest regained their power slowly after their memories were awakened. Does this mean I need to help Yan Fei and Yin Bai remember their past? But hasn't Yin Bai already remembered many things on her own? She has even met her old friends from Mu Yang High School… No wait! There is no mention of Yin Hong at all in her memory! The key to her missing memory lies with Yin Hong. Only by finding that girl will Yin Bai's memory be complete!"
To Chen Ge, Yin Bai was different from the other candidates due to the layer of relationship between the old headmaster of Mu Yang High School. He treated Yin Bai as someone that he could depend on.
"I seem to remember Yin Hong's class was not that far from the nurse's office." Chen Ge returned to the spot where he had run into Yin Hong. "The old headmaster has come to the school many times, so he should know about the presence of Yin Hong. Does that mean, in his heart, he treats Yin Hong as one of his family as well?"
Quickening his steps, Chen Ge was about to push open the door to Yin Hong's classroom when an announcement was suddenly broadcast in the corridor. "Emergency, emergency! All the students, please stay in your classrooms and do not wander about aimlessly! Emergency emergency…"
The broadcast was repeating the same thing. The tone was very serious like something harrowing had happened at the School of the Afterlife.
"The more dangerous the situation, the simpler and more succinct the emergency broadcast. Have the painter and Chang Wenyu started to move?" Chen Ge quickly walked to the window. He realized that the blood fog had thickened greatly, and there was something banging itself against the school madly in the fog.


The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"

Faelyn knocking on the door woke me up. I checked the time and jumped to getting ready because I was already running behind. I was so grateful that Faelyn was still there. I got everything and opened the door, and Faelyn smiled and waved, before we hurried off to find Yaoba.
Yaoba was sitting in the commons, checking the watch on her wrist. When she saw us, she stood up. "Follow me. You are late."
"Thank you for your patience. I'll be better." 
"Good. A late fighter can never protect anyone." Her words stung, but they were true.
She led us to the same training room that Faelyn and I had sparred in. The room was different than before, the dummies were set up, the weapons on the wall were now staves and other weapons that didn't look very threatening, and on another wall was a large mirror. I had no idea how to use any of it.
"Alright," Yaoba put her hands together. "Today, we start at the root of magic, how to use it and how to make it manifest.
"Magic can come from any living thing, which includes your body. Magic can take many shapes, and, if you're creative, it can do just about anything. The way it manifests is through words of an ancient language, called Luhitau, which came from the first people who spoke magic into being. Using magic from your body will tire you out, using it from around you is much less taxing. Be careful to not push your limits. You could die in battle or just from overcasting.
"Let's begin with a simple spell, and make your swords project a slash at those dummies. The words to do so are 'noro satei' and they mean 'sword forward'."
"Sounds simple enough." I said as I went to face the dummies.
Even thinking the words to cast gave me energy, and I could feel it extending to my arms. "Noro satei!" I shouted as I swung my sword at the dummies. I got to see the magic come off of the sword and slice through the dummy I swung at.
"Beautiful! On your first try, too. Now, let's see if Faelyn can do it." 
Faelyn came up next to me and paused for a moment. Then she turned towards the dummies. "Noro satei!" She successfully shot magic and sliced the dummy in half, horizontally.
"Excellent. You have a good aim, too."
Faelyn's smile stretched from ear to ear; she really seemed to be happy about her new-found ability.
"It's nice to see progress so quickly. Though, I do want to remind you that this is the very beginning and the next step is harder, at least it should be.
"You, now, will try casting with energy from around you, instead of being from within. It will instead feel like it's coming up and into your body.
"The words used to do this are said before any spell where you intend to bring in energy, and they are 'on mat' meaning 'the world'. So, go ahead and give it a try with the slash spell."
Faelyn went first, this time, and tried the spell: "On mat noro satei!" As she slashed, a much larger projectile was made and chopped the other dummy, vertically.
I tried like earlier, but I couldn't feel the energy. I tried going from one spell's energy and back to the new one, but it was no luck. "I am struggling with this one," I said so the anticipation would stop building.
"Alright, you two can work on this together, and when you get it come and find me." Yaoba then stepped out.
"I am not sure why I ended up teaching, but let's give it a shot." Faelyn shrugged at me.
"WIll you walk me through the way you do it?"
"Uhm, I think about protecting myself, and then when I say the words I feel energy tingle inwards."
"Okay. Let me try this, again."
I thought about my reason for fighting, my modus operandi, to protect others, people like Faelyn or the many lives lost to the umbra. I thought to myself about a cleansing fire, like when Rafael and I got here.
"Fire blade slash!" I roared as I swung my sword. A billow of flame took over the whole side that the dummies were on.
"Holy shit…" Faelyn spoke, and the surprise rolled off her tongue.
"Is everything okay?" Yaoba came through the door and stared at the fire. She then snapped her fingers, which made the flames disappear, leaving the dummies behind.
"Who did this?" She looked at me, after Faelyn pointed, and I was ashamed."
"I am sorry…" I said, looking at the ground.
"Don't be. Do it again."
I pulled on my feelings to protect others and cleanse the umbra.
"Fire blade slash!
Yaoba stared in awe while the flames continued. She snapped the flames away, again, and walked to us. "How did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Use such a powerful spell and without the words of magic."
"I am not sure…"
"Here." SHe pointed for me to come closer. "I want to see how far this goes. Cast Ice Breath."
I felt the energy come through my body. "Ice Breath!" I repeated and exhaled towards the dummies, surrounding them in frost."
"Joey, you are no ordinary caster, and I want to see you practicing. I am sure that I don't have more to teach you, especially if you can create such strong spells without ever being taught the words." Yaoba said and then slightly bowed to me. "I will let Rafael know that he can take over your training, and I am sure he will want to see your skills, too."
"Thank you, Yaoba. I am still trying to figure out what's so strange, but Rafael will probably explain it."
Yaoba left and it left just Faelyn and I.
"Joey, that was incredible! I've never seen a caster who didn't have to learn the words!"
"I couldn't have done it without you helping me, I swear."
"That's sweet of you to say, but it doesn't change how cool that was." Faelyn smiled at me, melting my heart. "Let's go back to my room, for now."
I followed Faelyn and she left the training room and started heading to where she has been staying.

"I am going to ask Rafael if you can come with us. Are you certain that you are okay with that?" I said as we closed the door to Faelyn's room.
"Yes, I am certain. I want to see what you are capable of, and I want to travel with you guys."
"Lovely! I will make sure to let him know how important that is to me."
 
Faelyn and I were talking in her room when Rafael came in. "I need to borrow you, it shouldn't be long." I got my stuff together and followed him back to the training room.
"Yaoba told me that you have the skill to cast without the words. I want to see it, but I also need to teach you some more things before you use magic in combat. I, lastly, need to tell you that we will be leaving tomorrow, now that you can use magic.
"I've been meaning to ask, but can Faelyn come with us?"
"If they can carry their own weight, then they are a welcome hunter."
"Thank you. I will let them know, after we are done."
"Then…" Rafael walked to the other side of the room and turned back to face me. "Let's begin. We have to teach you all of the basic combat spells, you need to be able to cast without saying anything out loud, and you need to know how to access the mirror realm.
"I first want to see you perform the lightning bolt spell."
I mustered the feelings from before, but the image that came to mind for who I want to protect was Faelyn with a smile. I thought the words and held my hand up to cast a lightning bolt at one of the dummies, which exploded with bits of fire left behind.
"Good work. Now I need to see a 'beyond shield'."
I focused and thought the words. When I casted, I was surrounded by a dome of shimmering sparkles.
"Good. The last spell that you must know is healing light."
I thought the words and cast the healing light at Rafael, and I noticed he stood an inch or so taller, now.
"Good. Thank you. Now we have all of the basic spells down, faster than any other mage that I've ever taught. Your abilities will make you an incredible fighter, if you use it and accumulate magic knowledge.
"The last thing we need while we are here, you have to create a mirror and use it to access the mirror realm. I need you to cast mirror create and mirror open."
I quickly made a mirror, the size of a person, and I cast the mirror open. Rafael then walked first into the mirror and I followed.

"This is the mirror realm. It is a plane made for casters to protect themselves, since umbra can't get it. This realm is very important because it could save you in an instance."
The mirror realm made everything look more blue, but I could still see everything as they were before I stepped through. I started thinking of ways to save myself with the mirror realm and was pulled back from my thoughts when Rafael started walking back to where we came in. I quickly used the mirror open spell and the doorway that we came in opened back up.
Rafael smiled at me before walking back through. "You opened it and I didn't even tell you how to. We are done, though, and you can go tell Faelyn that she can come with us."
"Thank you!" I said back with a smile, and then, without missing a beat, I ran to tell Faelyn the good news.

A journey to end the darkness that pools into the waking world. Joey, attacked by the darkness, must grow to be strong enough to combat the darkness. With people she meets in her many travels, she aims to make the world better, ending the umbra once and for all.

"A draft?" Christian asked as he walked towards the large mirror. "Come to think of it-oop!" Christian tripped right in front of the mirror, and threw his hands up defensively as he expected a full on collision that would result in shattered glass everywhere. However, that did not happen.

"Christian!" Robin yelled as she saw him vanish into the mirror. Not even thinking, she immediately jumped into the mirror after him.

Keith, alarmed by the noise, peeked his head behind him at the two. But could only look around in alarm and confusion, for the two were nowhere to be found.

 "I'll give you that pearl, but in exchange, I want you to leave me alone!" The boy bartered. 

Liam felt amused. This youngling was trying to negotiate with him? Glancing at the closed door, he had time. It wouldn't hurt to play along just for a bit.

"So, you're giving me this pearl in exchange for leaving you alone?" he asked slowly.

"That's right!" The youth nodded. "You get what you want, and I get what I want. It's a win-win situation!" He smiled, looking pleased with himself.

"Certainly, in the case of negotiations, striking a deal that benefits both sides would surely be preferable." Liam noted. "...That is why I cannot accept this deal."

"Mhmmm mhmmm-wait WHAAAT!? I THOUGHT WE HAD A DEAL!" The youth exclaimed.

"I said I'd listen. I never said that I'd agree. Unless you can one-sidedly initiate a binding magic contract, I am not bound to this proposed deal of yours." Liam pointed out. "Moreover, the terms you have stated are unfair in terms of exchange. Such a contract would benefit only me, which is unacceptable."

"What do you mean!!??" The teen grimaced at Liam. "We'd both get exactly what we wish for. How is that not beneficial to me!?"

"Getting what you wish for, and getting what is beneficial are not the same thing." Liam said sternly. "Children wish to eat sweet things, but that which benefits them most are the bitter herbs and medicines that they despise. Not to mention that I don't need your permission to take this pearl, as the pearl is already no longer in your hands. Negotiations can only commence before the goods are handed over."

"Why you!" The youth fumed. "Give that back! It's not yours!"

"I think not. What are you gonna do? Leave your cage to take it from me?" Liam teased. 

"Why must you do this? It's not like I'm anyone special or necessary. I don't recall crossing you or your friends in any way, so why must you meddle in my affairs so much!?" The lad asked.

Liam rolled the pearl around in his fingers. "Personally, I once felt that if someone was bound to ruin themselves, then that's their choice... But,  now I don't think that way anymore."

"Why?"

Liam's expression softened slightly. "Because I met a very meddlesome friend who refuses to leave people alone. Seeing all that she has done, I am more and more convinced that I was wrong."

"Ha! Sure you are. And that's why you had to go an' bother me, is it? Why can't you just leave me be." The  lad sat back in his cage, woefully. 

"Because sometimes the one we most need to save ourselves from, happens to be ourself. And the only one who can do that is someone else." Liam replied. "Can you guarantee that you will always be right? That you can't make mistakes?"

"Heh. Goody two shoes never helped me worth a darn." The lad snorted, turning his back towards Liam. "You don't know anything."

"I have lived far longer than you, youngling. And I can bet that I've seen far more than a mere chick in a cage could even imagine." Liam replied evenly.


The lad wrapped his arms about his knees. "You don't understand..."

"That depends. Even I haven't seen everything, after all." Liam said. "But I certainly can't understand anything if you refuse to explain your circumstances  to me."

The lad shook his head, refusing to speak. Liam waited patiently, until he was certain the lad wasn't gonna talk. Then he sighed.

 "Well it looks like neither of us are getting anywheres. Perhaps if I knew what you know, then I would change my mind again. Perhaps I'd also agree that you deserve to spend the rest of your life in that broken cage. But I can't make that sort of decision if there's something your keeping to yourself."

Silence pervaded the room once again. Finally, the lad opened his mouth to speak.

"You see...."

"Christian!? Robin!? Where are you? Please, if this is some sort of joke, then it's not funny!" Keith called, once again, beginning to feel alarmed.

"We're right here, Keith! Turn around, you idiot! We're here!" Christian banged on the window that had suddenly become solid and impenetrable. All around them were windows showing all the different angles of the mirror shop. Other than that, the area was a completely white space. 

"It seems that we cannot return the way we came in." Robin noted, calmly. "This must be the work of that magic beast you saw."

"Blast!" Christian once more hammered his fist onto the unbreakable pane. He slumped down to the floor. 

"Are we going to be stuck here forever?" He asked, vexed at the current situation.

"Not really." A voice sounded out.

Robin could only watch on in surprise as Hikaru's form glowed, reshaping itself into the human form that Robin had seen in her dreamscape.

"I thought you could only do that in my dreams?" Robin said, eyes wide in surprise. Christian turned his head, and also became speechless at the sight.

"Whoah! Who are you!?" He exclaimed.

"I suppose I should make the introductions?" Robin said bemusedly.
"Hero sword Hikaru, Christian; Christian, Hero Sword Hikaru."

"A pleasure." Only Hikaru's eyes smiled. "But as for my form, it can only appear this way in dreams or in a mindscape. This is a very perilous place you have entered. The world behind the looking glass is full of danger."

"So we're trapped in the world of mirrors, huh..." Robin mused.

"Time is short, and I have a lot of information to run through." Hikaru pointed out. "The main one is this: Never stand in front of a mirror which can only be seen by one other mirror."

"Why?" Christian asked.

"Because that place is the most dangerous. the number of mirrors you are standing in front of is the number of shields standing between you and your death." Hikaru said. 

"Why?"

"This magic beast pulled you into this domain because if it can trap you in a mirror and shatter it, then it can feed upon your shattered remains and grow more powerful. In that respect, every step you take here could be your last." Hikaru replied. "The less amount of mirrors there are, the more likely it is that the magic beat can break the mirror."

Christian gulped. 

"What kind of fool would keep such a dangerous pet?" Robin asked, feeling a headache.

"In all likelihood, they probably captured an immature youngling before it had come into its powers." Hikaru surmised. "Such beasts are exceptionally rare, given their need of mirrors in order to survive."

"What if we managed to shatter the mirror the magic beast was hiding in?" Robin asked.

"Obviously, your stay here would end and you'd be returned to the mirror shop." Hikaru replied. "But that would mean that you'd need to pierce the area between dimensions again."

"Well? Are you up for it?" Robin asked Hikaru. 

Hikaru smiled. "I thought you'd never ask. Ah, keep track of your friend Keith, as well. if he stands in front of a mirror, he could end up blocking a mirror. This is the same as losing a mirror because you are not reflected in it." Hikaru's form glowed with light as she returned to her sword form.

"Good luck."

Robin closed her eyes for several moments before opening them. "Are you ready?" She asked.

Christian stood up, sweat dotting his brow. "Do I have a choice?" He asked.

"No. but you don't need to worry too much. I have a plan." Robin replied.

"Plan? What kind of plan are you talking about?" Christian asked.

"The plan to defeat the mirror beast, of course!" Robin replied.

"When did you come up with a plan?" Christian asked, surprised.

"Just now, of course!" Robin said. Didn't you hear Hikaru?"

A rookie scheduler ends up in a different world of swords and magic. 
"Hero! A demon has made off with one of our village maidens!"
"Hero! There is a goblin nest! I beg of you your aid!"
"Hero! A band of thieves have made off with all my valuables!"
The Hero helps them all out, but they don't know: she's a girl.

Lillian sat in the dining hall, confused about what she should or shouldn't be doing. The servants came into the room and cleared everything up in a flash, barely casting a glance her way. 
What did I agree to? Just what could it be?
He said something about a meeting, right? Meeting for what? And why would he want me there? I haven't shown anything that would prove I am a good asset to the meeting.
Everything's happening too fast, I can't figure out anything, nor can I keep up.
Compared to Roman's one, this wish is much harder than I expected. I thought everything will be ok once I revealed what he held closest to him but nope. Nothing changed. 
Well, they seem closer. At least that's there. 
Speaking of Roman … Is Jasmine ok?

"I am not ok." Jasmine gasped, holding the light up to reveal another fifty different tunnel entrances. Her dress and face are caked with dirt and her hair tied up in a bun. "I need a bath and I need to sleep. How long has it been since I saw Lillian? I hope she's fine."
She walked to one of the entrances, seeing the mark she made on it, she turned away to another entrance. Almost all of them had marks and Jasmine collapsed to the ground, tried and frustrations welling up in her. 
She rested her back against the wall and laughed, "If only Rose could see me now. Is she doing ok? I pray they are ok."
"I'm not making any progress if only I could use my magic." She sighed taking a sip of water from the water bag in her bag, remembering how she ran when she first used her magic to find the King as the creatures came out of nowhere and started chasing her. 
The inscriptions are also behaving strangely, wriggling like worms occasionally, with more and more of it appearing every time she looked away. 
Taking out a book from her bag, she flipped the pages that she filled copying the inscriptions down while she rested. Opening to a new page, she began filling it with the new inscriptions that just appeared. 
"I should send these to Lillian. Someone might be able to interpret them." Jasmine thought, then sighed again, "Thankfully, I know the King is still safe. But … for how long?"
Before they left, Margaret cast a spell on Jasmine and the King so that, if they ever separated and one or the other was in a life-threatening situation, the other would appear. 
They were about to include Lillian but she disappeared and they didn't have the time to wait. 
She's just in her own world most of the time. 
Jasmine smiled. No matter how cheery she tries to portray herself, there's always something so off about her. Her smiles hardly ever reach her eyes. 
"Well, that's it." Jasmine placed the pen down and took out the mirror Lillian called her in. The second time she called, the mirror didn't disappear from her hands so she shoved it in her bag and continued walking around. 
"How do I call? Do I just command?" Jasmine laughed while inspecting the mirror, "This feels like Rose the first time she tried to use a smartphone in Lillian's world. Goodness."
The mirror she held was purely made from Aquamarine, from the handle to tiny details on it. The handle is shaped like the trunk bottom of the Old Sage and the head of the mirror looked something like the Old Sage's branches and bush of leaves. 
Maybe I should treat it as a phone?
"Uhhh … Call, Lillian? Please." Jasmine said, hesitantly. The surface of the mirror gently rippled as soon as she said that. 
"It's working." She held the mirror up to her face, trying to be as gentle as possible. "Thank you for working."
"Jasmine?" Lillian's face came into view. She looks a little tired and not as cheery as before but … she looks happy to see her. 
"Hi, Lillian. How are you?" 
"I'm fine. Oh, Jasmine, I'm so glad you called. I was just about to call you and you wouldn't imagine my surprise when the mirror appeared by itself. How are you doing? You look …"
"Dirty?"
"No! Why would you think that?" Lillian pouted. "You are beautiful no matter what."
Oh, no. I made her upset. 
"I'm sorry, Lillian." Jasmine apologized, flashing her a soft smile "I was only trying to make a joke."
"It's ok. I was just acting anyway. So, did you find him?" Lillian gave her a big toothy grin.
Cute. 
"No. I've just been stuck here the past couple of days without any sign of progress and I end up in the same place over and over again."
"That's really annoying. Are you sure you don't want my help? I can come down there and we can ****** some, ****** and ******, with *******. What do you say?"
Ah~ I forgot about that.
"Lillian?" Jasmine slowly strung her name out, sending chills down Lillian's spine.
"Y-yes?" 
"Please tell me you aren't using those languages in the palace and are maintaining proper speech and decorum." She asked, smiling but her intentions were anything gentle. 
"Of course. I maintain p-"
"Lillian? Why did you stop?" 
"AHHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Lillian's eyes widened and panic became thick in her voice. 
"Lillian?"
"I'm doing my best." She finally answered. "It's not perfect but, I'm trying."
"Ok. As long as you don't argue with the King then we are fine." Jasmine's smile froze midway when she saw Lillian's fidgety gaze when she said 'don't argue with the King'.
"Lil-"
"Did I tell you how attractive the King is?" Lillian quickly started speaking, "He has this extremely long black hair and always wears long flowing robes and gold. He's so attractive I feel like crying just from seeing his face."
"What about compared to our King?" 
"Ohhh~ That's bad, Jasmine. You can't compare both of them."
"Really? Why not? They are both Kings. Is it their age?"
"No, not that. Both are beautiful but they have very different kinds of beauty. You can't compare a sunset to a garden of flowers but they are beautiful none the less. Oh, is there a way we can capture images like with a cellphone here?"
"Hmmmm~ I don't think so. But you can ask the Princess. How's the wish going?"
"Ugh. Where to begin?" Lillian asked, then began recounting everything that happened, up until that point as fast as she could.
"So you're sure that the wish isn't fulfilled yet?"
"Yes. It's just a gut feeling but I know it isn't granted yet. Does that make sense?"
"Yes. I understand. Maybe you need to dig deeper. After all, you are the Fairy Godmother of Love."
"That's what I've been wondering about. Just how am I- Oh- Yes?" Lillian looked away from Jasmine and began walking, the mirror in her hand. 
"Yes?" Lillian asked, pulling open a door and hiding the mirror behind the door so Jasmine could only see the white wood. 
"I brought these for you to change into."
"You didn't have to, Princess. But … thank you." 
"It is my pleasure. Now, go get ready. I will send someone to escort you to the meeting room."
"Alright. Thank you." 
"Oh, yeah, the book." Jasmine bent down and picked the book that she wrote on up while Lillian turned from her persona back to her normal face and body. 
"Are you still there, Jasmine?" Lillian asked, clutching the mirror in one hand and the clothes in another. 
"Yes. Was that the princess?" Jasmine asked, still not looking up from the book as she flipped through the pages. 
"Yup. She's a good kid. She's so lucky to have a father like the King." Lillian grabbed the pillow and screamed into it as Jasmine finally looked up. 
"Why don't you just accept the King's proposition then?" She teased. 
"No! I want to date him. What will happen if I become his daughter? Don't tease me like that, Jasmine, I actually felt my heart breaking." Lillian spoke, dramatically placing her hand on her heart.
"Ok. Ok. Sorry." Jasmine giggled. "Oh, Lillian. I need to ask you to do something. I know you're busy bu-"
"No! I'm ready! Tell me anything." 
"You're so enthusiastic about work being given to you."
"That's because … you don't really talk to me much except to check up on me. And, you've always been helping me so selflessly. So I want to be able to do something for you too." Lillian said, nervously scratching the back of her head.
"OK, Lillian. I need you to see if you can interpret these symbols." Jasmine used a faint amount of her magic and sent the book over from her side to Lillian through the mirror. 
"Wow, magic is convenient." Lillian grabbed the book and smiled, just then she realized something. "Wait … why are you using magic? Those creatures will be after you."
"Oh right, that was how your body separated from your consciousness right?" Jasmine placed her hands on her face, a thought coming to her. 
"Jasmine?" Lillian called, concern filling her voice. 
"Hmmm? Oh, you should go get ready, Lillian. I will take care of things here." Jasmine smiled at her but Lillian felt more uneasy with that smile. 
"Y-you're not going to do anything stupid, right?"
"Who do you think I am, Lillian? Now go. I need to keep looking … Again."
"… Ok. Take care. Call me if anything happens."
"Sure. All the best, Lillian." Jasmine waved as the mirror turned dark. She shoved the mirror into her bag and released a deep breath along with a large wave of magic. 
Threads of light immerged from her fingertips and entered the entrances, moving like spider webs being woven together as they entered deeper and deeper in.
"I knew it. Now," She began retracting them the moment they reached dead ends at every corner of the tunnels. "Come to me."


Lillian finally gets the dress of her dreams, a beautiful blue gown. But there is something odd about this dress. The moment she puts it on, she gets teleported to a different world where the leaves are colourful while the flowers are near non-existent. Besides the strange setting of the world, what's even stranger is the fact that she is now the designated 'Fairy Godmother' of this world, specializing in ... Love.

Will this woman, desperate to find love for herself be able to grant the wishes of the people around her? And why are the wishes never specific?

I woke up laying on Precia's shoulder. "How long was I out?"
"About an hour. You need rest. Continue sleeping."
"I need to find out who that guy was that I found in the castle." I stood up and cleaned my rugged clothes.
"..." Precia was sitting there silent.
"So you saw...?"
"Yes. Only for a moment. I can only... Imagine... What he forced you to see and hear." Her whole body was trembling.
She's talking about the illusion that man gave her.
"Don't worry about it. Whatever you saw."
"You're real right?"
"You? Are you real?"
"Yes..."
"Then so am I." I reached out my hand to her. "Stand up. We need to get going."
"Yes!"
We go on ahead in the place Precia and Yefa found. I contacted Greta and Zeta but no replies were heard. I'm starting to get worried.
We entered the room Precia lead us to. "Is it here?"
"Yes. But where is Yefa? I told her that she'd wait here."
"I'll try contacting her with Telepathy." After a few tries, I couldn't hear her voice. "Darn. As the same with the two, I can't contact her also. Let's just go in."
We stepped into the room and in a flash, a giant magical circle appeared. "Wha-" the magical circles latch on to our bodies. And as we open our eyes, we were transported somewhere that we weren't familiar with.
It was a white, cold, empty room. In the distance, we could hear metals clashing with each other.
"Let's go there!"
"Mhm!"
We both used Sprint and began running towards the location where the noise was heard.
"Yefa!?" I could see Yefa in the distance battling with someone.
"Zieglind!" Yefa punched the man with her gauntlets and it knocked him back a few meters. Yefa then instantly used blink towards us. "Greta and Zeta are there." Yefa pointed at the two bloodied bodies laying on the side.
I rushed to their aid and used every healing spell I have. Zeta managed to open his eyes and stay conscious. "Hey, you alright?"
"Yeah... Is that you Zieglind?" Zeta then coughed up blood.
"Be careful! And yes. Its me."
"Is... Greta okay?"
"She's still unconscious but still alive."
"That's plenty enough to have a reason to live."
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing, nothing." Zeta then stood up and walked slowly to Greta's aid. "Maybe you'll understand someday." He then began healing her unconscious body. "You take care of him."
"Yes." I looked at the way of the man. He didn't have any weapons and was only using his bare hands. "He was clashing with Yefa with bare hands?"
He was the same man I saw in the castle. Wearing full white armor and his long blonde hair was glowing beautifully in this room.
"Are you next?" The man asked.
"I'm Zieglind. Zieglind Reysh. What's yours?"
"I'm Hera. The one true god."
"Bold statement."
"Igno-"
"For a dead man."
"You truly seek death stray lamb. Come, you shall be judged by this god."
"Armor of the Bloodfallen!" I tried this skill for the first time when I'm sane. "It failed... Huh." The only armored part of my body is the bottom part. My waist down to my foot. My upper body is completely open. Despite it being incomplete, I could feel my bottom body being pierced with spikes.
"Master... You're really desperate huh? No matter what you do, no matter what your intentions are... WE'LL DEVOUR YOU." The souls of the Bloodlust started attacking my bottom part of the body.
"You fool... I could feel demonic power from that armor. You dare show that to me?"
I endured the pain but I'm slowly losing blood but the Karmic Pain passive is slowly healing me. "Co...me, Bloodlust!"
"Mirror Multiplication!" Tens or hundreds of mirrors spawned around the whole room. Different sizes and different types of mirrors.
"What the hell is this?"
Hera pointed his finger on one of the mirrors. "Light Buckshot!" A small light appeared on his arm and then suddenly split into multiple pieces. When the light touched one of the mirrors, it instantly travelled to another mirror and into another until it didn't have any mirror to go to.
"AGH!" I was hit by one of the flying light that was jumping through mirrors and mirrors. Despite them being called light, they aren't that difficult to dodge but they are still fast. "Those things hurt."
"Mirror Cloning!" Hera looked at one of the windows and then another one of him spawned.
"What?!"
There are now two Hera standing infront of me. "Light Buckshot!" In unison, they fired off both of their skills.
The bullets they shot has now been faster and had more random trajectories. Its difficult to keep up.
"AGH!" It might be a chip of damage but my health will whittle down while he does this. "I just need to bear with it! Sprint!" I began running full charge at him and taking the damage of the bullet lights. My lower body is practically immune to his light attacks but in my upper body it hurts so bad.
"Useless. Mirror World!" The room we were standing on suddenly changed. Before it was a rectangular room but now, its a sphere. We were all falling down to the bottom part of the sphere. "Mirror Transfer!" Hera vanished and his clone stayed in the middle.
I attacked it but it just vanished like a fog.
"Mirror World, Change!" The spherical place we were standing on changed into a big spherical mirror.
"What?!"
"You know what this means right? If everything here is a mirror that means..."
"The light bullets you use will be bouncing infinitely..."
"Bingo! You're just a stray lamb in my world. You should either die or serve me forever. I'm your god! Mirror World, Unify!"
Hera's body was like mist. It instantly disappeared. And after a few seconds, I could see his face appear on the room we were standing on.
"This... This is MY WORLD. I could do anything I want here in my Mirror World. You can't kill me if I don't have a physical form. But I surely can kill you..."
"Damn..." What do I do?
