There was an indescribable silence and sense of concealment in the room.
By opening the entrance gate of the Forgotten World searched for in the Book of Truth, this book that recorded Grimm's endless failures could be regarded as a real tool, otherwise it was just a common experiment note.
At the beginning, the predecessor of the Book of Truth, the Book of Isotta, could easily open the spiritual Spectral World in the Tower of Ruins. It could also seal real-world creatures into the spiritual world that he simulated himself, thus forming a Spacetime Seal and gaining incredible power.
With the fall of Black Isotta Stigmata Sorcerer, the book of unknown material gradually disappeared and became the predecessor of the Book of Truth in Grimm's hands.
"Come on, Curse of the Medium World!"
Grimm, under the Mask of Truth, was sombre and fearless, with his keen and sharp eyes of apparent truth penetrating through it. He waited quietly in the distorted restlessness of the natural light pulled by the Destructive Force of the Sabbatic Goat Staff in his right hand.
At this time in the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Tower, although Grimm could easily summon a large number of foreign aid forces to break the curse, but this would merely solve temporary worries. It did not solve the problem in the long run.
If Grimm were to choose to leave the Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy camp and escape the spellcaster's Curse Sorcery area, the further they were from each other better, then the opponent's influence on Grimm would also become weaker.
But Grimm's dignity as a Sorcerer would never allow himself to make such a choice!
Moreover, maybe this... was an opportunity?
The Medium World lied within the chaotic nature of information transmission. Any Spectral World was an extremely dangerous world of chaotic and absurd laws. Their entrance might be anywhere in the Endless World, because what constituted them was not material, but chaotic rules.
It was these Spectral Worlds that perfectly blended into the Endless Material World.
But for any creature in the Material World, even for an Eternal Dominator, it was extremely dangerous to fall into such worlds. If there were no ways to successfully escape from the Spectral World, one would be lost forever.
"Sorcerer? Kekekekeke, I am a real Sorcerer…"
A low and hoarse voice came from a mural on Grimm's left side. The mural depicted a sacred and holy Sorcerer holding a baby. His kind and loving face was looking at the baby affectionately and full of warmth.
This was a painting from ordinary human beings.
But at this time, along with the hoarse and low voice, the holy Sorcerer on the mural snickered, revealing the sharp fangs in his mouth, and there seemed to be something else in his affectionate eyes. With the sound of the baby's chirping cries, the Sorcerer actually swallowed the baby whole!
In the midst of the light of uncertainty, Grimm stayed firm, looking directly at the anomaly in the mural.
Apparently, that concealment Sorcerer of the Shadow Argus Sorcerer Academy did not have the ability to drag himself into the Medium World to seal Spacetime, but was only using certain natural phenomena in that Medium World to attack Grimm.
The essence that the painting's author wanted to portray was not to praise the Sorcerer, but to illustrate a freehand depiction of the children-devouring evil Sorcerer!?
The Sorcerers took children one by one, leading them to the Sorcerer Academy. Their parents often had no way to see their children during their lifetime. As a result, the stories that were told during this period inevitably caused some ordinary people to produce some evil fantasies.
The Sorcerer who discovered this painting interpreted that the author was praising the Sorcerer so he hung it in this room and inherited it.
"It's really an interesting world. Although it is only through the curse of the real world in observing the representation of this Spectral World, I am still able to find some amazing things..."
Crackle!
A stream of Grimm's electrical arc extinguished the mural along with the strange phenomenon produced by it, and then he stomped one of his feet. With a puff, a furry bear claw shocked Grimm.
The bear claw was derived from the patterns on the carpet. This was a bearskin rug, and it was very luxurious. It used a very realistic process to vividly restore a bulky and docile giant bear.
"Roar! The owner loves me, he says that I am his companion, he wants to be with me throughout his life. Let me accompany him in his life as his quilt, not as the carpet you step on!"
The carpet's giant bear roared, but after being shaken mercilessly by Grimm's foot, it turned into limitless fluffs.
Thud, thud, thud, thud…
The texts in the sorcery books started crawling out distortedly, forming the shape of Sorcerers with different forms one by one, and they were telling Grimm things with different expressions.
"This was the sorcery book I gave to my favorite disciple, Kodum. But now, it is seized by you. You robber, I am going to kill you..."
An angry old Sorceress rushed over, with her body completely composed of twisted Sorcerer text volleys, looking at Grimm with anger and resentment in her eyes.
"The suspense theory of this combined sorcery is wrong, and it is an utter embarrassment to me. I want you to forget about it, and you cannot speak of it. This wrong theory will pollute the entire Sorcerers World like ink..."
Another crazy-lady-like Sorcerer, outlined by tens of thousands of magical runes in the air like a group of dancing blots of ink, rushed toward Grimm.
"Shame on you! You didn't leave the legacy of my great self to the treasure of knowledge of the entire Sorcerers World and preserve it properly. Now it has become a remnant, letting future Sorcerers forget my name. I want you to die..."
The texts on the books seemed to have come alive, and were pouncing on Grimm in the form of distorted Sorcerers.
Crackle!
With magic power constantly being consumed, Grimm destroyed the texts of the books that were hurtling over one by one. His constant stimulation of the Destructive Force caused Grimm's own magic power to be consumed rapidly. One after another, the Sorcerers with different faces appeared around Grimm, looking dazzled.
Hmm!?
Suddenly, all Grimm felt was a chill running down his spine, and the inexplicable coldness caused Grimm's hair to stand up on ends. A Sorcerer made of twisted texts caught Grimm's back, ignoring Grimm's defensive layout. With a blur, the grasped part of Grimm's body, a large piece of his flesh and blood, turned into strange text symbols and disappeared.
These text symbols formed by Grimm's flesh and blood appeared in strange squares, which was very different from both the modern simplified hieroglyphic Sorcerer texts and the ancient hieroglyphic Sorcerer texts, and disappeared in a flash.
"Ahh…"
Coming to from the pain, Grimm was indeed traumatized, with his back being soaked in blood.
The overflowing power of the Medium World transformed the flesh and blood of his own body into text symbols!?
"Master! Cana is here."
"Master Grimm… Ahh!"
As Little Myna led Cana to Grimm's lab, they saw such a strange and horrible scene, causing the Sorceress-Apprentice to scream in horror.


"Grant me infinite knowledge, and I shall be as a fulcrum, to move the endless world!"

Torrential rain brewed all over the land of Furia―an omen for bad luck.

The night was restless as the wind churned and wailed widely, laboring against the ensued carnage. Bolts of lightning attempted to spark the sky with neon but valorously, the opaque pregnant clouds swallowed the luminescence with gloom. However nature writhed in chaos, silence managed to stagnate the air inside the Furian palace. It had been two days and still they waited in thick suspense.

Slow, yet light, footsteps were heard and in great anticipation everyone hoped that the torrential rain was nothing but a dog barking without teeth. No bad omen was supposed to exist on this long awaited day, especially when everything had to work for their good. It was the only way they could continue to survive. 

Things had to go right. 

She had to be alive. 

Quietly the woman walked in, her body swaying with grace as she took each step. Although she had screamed her lungs out for the past nights, one could not tell. Her broad magnificent wings kept flapping to and from showcasing her excitement. 

At her sight, the whole audience knelt down with earnest greetings.

"Her highness, our queen has done well," they commended.

She smiled and looked down at what lay in her hands. Tiny it was but the most precious thing ever. Her little eyes were slightly closed, her small mouth opening and closing as she breathed. Pale skin, with beautiful ash blonde hair brushed her forehead. When she finally blinked her pearly eyes open, the fire within was exposed―a true fury indeed. 

She was beautiful. 

In triumph, the mother raised her pride and joy with a victorious laugh and the new born wriggled in the air.

At this ceremonious celebration, the Furian priestess stepped forward with her retinue of two and bowed before the queen. The queen grinned towards them and carefully handed over the the little princess.

"Eyes furnaced with fire, hair like the sun and skin like the moon," the Furial priestess spoke sternly. "Her Highness has done well."

The priestess' retinue giggled and sprinkled gold dust onto the little one. "Long live to our future queen."

The queen beamed at this as she took back her baby into her arms, her amber eyes turning liquid with tears of joy. With her golden curls, her exotic looks enthralled each eye that plucked up courage to glance at her.

"Long live the newborn! Arise by conquering our enemies and drive all the nations into jealousy by ruling the world. Arise oh arise and bring prosperity to the Land of Furia!" The room erupted.

"Your highness, that is the end of the documented story pertaining the birth of our princess," the serving palace lady closed the book she was reading from. "Must I bring you a blanket, it's getting cold here." Due to her countless years of duty, the palace lady could easily tell when her queen was getting the chills. And moreover, her highness was lounging on a stony balcony known for its low temperatures.

Queen Elora sighed and shook her head, "Books may lie but the truth carries much power. We may hide or imprison the truth, but so do we question ourselves 'for how long?" Queen Elora looked below at the endless green grass that had birds perking around it for food. 

The book documented the birth of her daughter like a fairy tale although it had been the beginning of a horror story. 

"Your Highness, if you don't take care of your health, you may lose your life and who will bring the princess home?" The old maid begged for her mistress to see reason but the queen ignored her petitions.

"Why is this rabbit breathing so heavily?" The queen looked closely to examine the red-eyed rabbit that slept on her lap. The pet had been her daughter's most treasured friend. Tired with age, each breath of his was a scuffle with death. 

"You shall feed him my blood along with his dinner," the queen instructed.

"Your Highness please let nature take its course," the old woman pitied the rabbit, "these animals are not supposed to live this long." Fury royal blood healed one from their aches and pain but did not possess the power to stop one from aging or the effects of it thereof.
"Lady Naiyan seems to be forgetting her place." The queen chastised coldly and stood up to put the rabbit back in its cage.

It was near sunset, the sun kissing the Furian mountains goodnight while shadowing a splendor of orange. The queen's skin resembled honey under the radiance and she loved it. It reminded her of her heydays when she was regarded as the most beautiful, exotic, enchanting and alluring.

When Queen Elora closed the cage, she swayed a little bit like she was intoxicated and her maid rushed to offer her aid.

"By day you worry for your daughter and at night you cry for your lover," Lady Naiyan stressed. Heavy feelings were not so kind to the people of Furia. If dwelt on for too long, they devoured a person alive like venom, leaving them for the grave. At just forty summers old, the queen's hair had become snow and her skin wrinkled to mirror Lady Naiyan's own although she was much older than her.

The Imperial General rushed onto their balcony, hurriedly bowing himself. "Report! Report! Report for her Highness!"

Lady Naiyan helped the queen back to her seat. 

"If it is Huticah, I will lend my ear tomorrow." The queen waved her hand to be alone. Matters of Huticah always riled her up with anger. Furia was an independent nation lead by women, so how dare King Tobba continually threaten her? A man, for that matter.

"Forgive me, your Highness," the general persisted. "It's Nevoria. Emperor Huizhong has formally threatened to start war if we continue to shield Huticah."

A beauty within her own right, all she ever wanted was a peaceful, ordinary life, maybe exploring and traveling the different lands while she was at it. But when she accidentally caught the eagle eye of her estranged royal father, he saw the potential in her and quickly made plans of his own for her.

She was given a single mission: seduce the emperor of the enemy nation of Nevoria and become his empress for the betterment of her own country. Simple, right? She only had to train and excel at everything since an early age. Then once reaching the proper age, make her way through Nevorian court, all the while dodging the vipers of the harem, sending secret missives to her nation, scheming her way to the throne, etc. It was as easy as that.

But why didn't anyone warn her how difficult it would be to deal with the enigmatic emperor? They can't go a single day without one triumphing over the other in every sense. All that she had prepared and trained for flew out of the window whenever she stared into those pair of flirtatious, amused eyes that masked the cold, sinister intention behind them. Was it too late to back out now?

In the lobby on the second floor, I met Hearty, saying hello to him, "Wait..." He stopped me. 

"Is there a problem?"

"You just said that your hobby is detective, what does that mean?"

Sure enough, that speech would lead to confusion, and I explained to him.

"Nothing. I am often involved in incidents. So I settle those incidents. That's it. "

Hearty was silent for a while. His next statement was beyond my expectation.

"It's great, it really is, detective! Actually I want to be a suspense writer. So if you are really a detective, please talk to me. "

"A suspense writer. Have you sent your work to any publisher?"

"Yes. But I failed ..."

"Okay, I also have friends that also likes suspense stories, I like them as well."

"That's great. If you don't mind, come and talk in my room."

"I don't mind."

I went to his room.

"Wow, a lot of books."

The bookshelves are full of suspense novels of ancient and modern times, which are spectacular.

I sat down on the chair he advised.

The windows seemed to be open, and the curtains wavered in the wind. The window must  stayed open during the call just now, when I was at the kitchen. 

He took a stack of copy paper from the table and handed it to me. It's a printed novel.

"It's my novel. Can you read it? I want to hear your thoughts."

A dozen sheets of A4 paper are not very heavy, and it seems that they can be read in a short while.

"I'd love to."

"Thank you very much."

He politely lowered his head.

Shortly after started reading, someone knocked on the door. Hearty opened the door, it's Gunars. You can tell that he just took a bath.

Gunars saw me and raised his eyebrows.

"Ah, Ms. Amanda, you two are close already!"

His words sounds suspicious. Feels like he's suspicious of the traitor who forged letters?

"Because Ms. Amanda also seems to like suspense novels, so we are talking about it."

Hearty answered. Gunars smiled:

"That's good. Also, the bath water is hot."

"Ah ... let Gilbert wash first."

"Ok."

After Gunars left the room, Hearty said intently:

"I want to become a suspense novel's writer is a secret kept from the family, so Amanda please keep it a secret."

"I understand."

"My father seems to want me to inherit the company, but Gilbert is more suitable. It doesn't need to be the oldest son. I'm still a student, I want to use it as an excuse to not get into the company too soon."

"Okay."

My eyes returned to the manuscript.

I read them for a while.

"What do you think?"

It's hard to answer. I'm looking for some words who can make someone who wants to be a writer happy, and praise him appropriately, but at the same time, I need to be serious.

"Sure enough, the title and settings are very good and attractive. But I feel slightly that it lacks some skills. However, the last scene was very good. After reading this, it felt like sun after the rain. "

"Lacking of skills? I agree. "

I smiled slightly, his face flushed.

"It's interesting, please continue and stick to your hobbies." I said.

After a while of discussion, I left his room.

Jack, a high school student from Liberty High, had witnessed a rape scene in front of him, the victim was his classmate,  Clarissa. Well, he didn't do anything to help her. Instead, he masturbated while watching the rape scene.

The sun hadn't even cleared the horizon before Rykar and Loki excitedly dashed out of the room fully equipped as though ready for war. With Rob in tow, they quickly scanned their bracelets before descending the lift and venturing into the forest of bookshelves.

Being recognized immediately due to their extravagant masks, a librarian silently began to trail behind them with a silver cart after informing them that he would be waiting on them and willing to answer any questions. History, mathematics, statistics, culture, science, weaponry, biology, farming. Walking through just two of the hundreds of bookshelves, they were already baffled as to which topics to explore while recited the titles of any books they pointed to on the shelves.

Growing annoyed of the aimless searching, he took the initiative to turn towards the librarian. "Excuse me, where can we find books related to exploration? Mainly focusing on geography, animals, plants. Information on fragments and worlds, along with travel information are also needed." While speaking a thousand times more refined than usual, he straightened his back while attempting to put on a façade of someone who could actually afford his getup. 

It didn't even take two seconds of thought before the woman smiled and lead them just a few shelves across. "This row, along with the next two, house books which are mainly focused on the world around us, the sea of stars and more of the commonplace flora and fauna. Please let me know if there are any specifics you are interested in and I will do my best to help."

Like kids in a candy store, the twins no longer even asked Rob any questions as they pulled books off the shelves and looked at the covers with glistening eyes. There were an assortment of designs, some very abstract, while others giving a clear idea of the contents of the book. Plants, animals, mythical looking beasts, stars, swirling clouds. These books were piled up on the cart one after the other while the more blank and dull designs were put back on the shelves without suspense.     

It wasn't long before there was a second librarian right next to the first, along with a second trolley due to the first being too full. While one went to take the first set of books to their study, the second was also half full when the next question came from Rykar. "Where are the story books? With generals and armies!" 

Barely containing his excitement, he only calmed down slightly when Rob tugged his shoulder to get him to stop skipping while they followed the librarian across the shelves once again. 

"Just these shelves?" He asked when they arrived at a quieter section of the library. This was a walkway dozens of metres long and with books lining the sides, yet it didn't seem to be even a drop in the ocean compared to all the shelves they had walked past to get there. Despite the grand scale, Rykar seemed disappointed that they only took up such a small section, even with this much already being enough to keep him occupied for years.

"No, this whole section is. From this isle, to the end of the wall. This is allocated to the both factual and fictional based stories and poetry." The librarian corrected. 

Almost on cue, the twins once again went into a frenzy, picking all the fancy looking books and especially those with plenty of pictures, illustrations and diagrams within. It took the longest hour of Rob's life before they finally went back up to their rooms after having sent up four trolleys of books between the two librarians tasked to them.  

With their first meal already set up on the table, there was no suspense as Chance got them to finish eating before gathering around the table once again.  

Without allowing them to dive straight into their story books, Chance first took the opportunity to go through the books related to the world around them and before selecting one to read between them. With the book in hand and the twins at either side, he read through the book slowly. Without rushing or ignoring any of their questions, he pointed out the letters and words as he went, making sure that he explained how the words were formed and giving them an understanding of the mess of shapes sprawled across the paper. 

Amazingly enough, as many of the key words were repeated, the twins were already able to see some patterns in the shorter and less complex sentences, piecing together one or two words within a sentence by the end of the first chapter which came to amaze both Rob and Chance. They were practically sponges when it came to learning anything! 

It took till noon to go through the first two books, with barely a break even to get a drink as Chance started feeling his throat get sore with the incessant questions from the other three in the room. Most of the questions they asked, he was just as clueless as them towards the answers. Despite this, their horizons were expanded again and again as gasps of astonishment often broke the flow of reading. 

The world system within the sea of stars was the easiest to explain, with a simply yet meticulous way of categorizing the grade boundaries. The sea of stars was virtually endless, while constantly expanding and growing around itself. Changes would occur at every and any moment, oftentimes throwing entire solar systems into chaos before reforming themselves or simply becoming desolate space. 

Ever light within the sky, usually referred to as stars, were actually entire worlds! The light being emitted from them was actually a form of energy which was emitted from the condensation of energy which forms their world boundary. This 'world boundary' was a form of protection and isolation which served as the benchmark of a planet becoming a world.

Before this boundary was formed, planets weren't even qualified to me mapped out by official channels oftentimes, as they were still classed as being within development and may be abandoned at any time. Grace, the planet they were on, was a perfect example of this.  

Despite the habitable atmosphere for life and civilization, the planet was all but devoid of energy, potentially requiring up to a thousand years before accumulating enough to support its cataclysm, propelling itself to form its own boundary while expanding dramatically in size. 

Generally, after each cataclysm, a world would increase its grade by one, however, there have been many cases of a world going through a small scale cataclysm. While this would still cause its barrier to develop and increase its size, this wouldn't be enough to qualify the world for the next grade. There was no glorification for this, it was simply referred to as a failed cataclysm. The cons of this situation often outweighed the pros, as each cataclysm requires a much vaster accumulation of energy compared to the last. 

Omega, the largest and only recorded rank 9 world was literally at the centre of the sea, with the rest of the sea expanding from the centre around it. Due to the pull gravitational from Omega, the larger the planet, along with the strength of its boundary, causes the more prosperous worlds to congregate towards the centre of the sea. 

Contrary to their initial expectations of the larger worlds being in the centre and the smaller ones being on the periphery of the sea, the worlds themselves were surrounded by other planets and worlds, with the orbits of which crossing over and switching zones often. This all caused the sea to have a volatile nature with each world usually supporting the flow of various smaller ones within its influence.

All in all, where they were now, on an offshoot planet under the control of the corporation 'Grace', there were living on nothing but a grain of sand within a sea bidder than they could imagine.

Their only reason the company invested in this planet in the first place was due to the naturally formed fragment, which only needed minimal investment to stabilize its eco-system. This was essentially getting two worlds for the cost of one, while providing a safe and secure environment for the essence fruit plantation. Despite its size, it was apparent that the plant was only in its initial stages, with the growth of the plants and replantation of a portion of the fruits from each harvest, the project would sweep through the rest of the fragment in its entirety. 

The reason they were slowly picking off the escapees was because there was no rush in the first place! They were literally stuck within the same cage they thought they had gotten out of and eventually they would have no place to go along with the expansion of activity. With the escapees serving punishments, this would prompt order and stability within the camp, providing a new bottom tier and giving those already working there, a sense of superiority. All this came at the price of a few workers 'escaping' every month due to the security 'dropping their guard'. 

They thought their sense of the world had expanded, until they moved onto some of the basic geography and found out that not only worlds, but cities were classified by the grade system also. What was laughable, was that the 'city' they were living in was actually an outpost for the expansion into this planet. It honestly didn't even quality as a grade one city, without many of the basic systems in place to even function as one. 

By the time lunch rolled round, it felt as though the informative books they had been reading were more like story books and fantasy works. Their expectations towards leaving the planet and venturing onto Grace were actually dulled by the context of the book, leaving them skeptical to the possibilities of it all. 

"Rob, pick a book for them to read through for the next hour or two. I need to go get something but ill be back in no time." Chance patted his stomach while donning his mask and gesturing to the others to do the same before as he made his way towards the door. 

"Where are you going?" Loki asked. He felt it weird to only be a day into their 'study' yet Chance was breaking the rule he set for them, not to leave the library. 

"I have to get back to the sewers and pic something up. I would have brought it earlier but it really couldn't be helped." He sighed as he made his way out but it didn't take long for them to busy themselves as Rob threw a book towards Rob. Catching it reflexively, he found himself holding a thick tomb with its cover depicting a dragon breathing a jet of fire towards a knight in full armour. 

"This one." Both twins grinned excitedly.

Her warm hand brushed his hair soft. When was the last time he rested on her lap?

A memory came to her mind. 

She had entered junior college  Ashay was eleven. Her parents were out of town.

It was night, Ira nestled on the sofa to watch TV.

An old cricket match was playing on it. She couldn't help but look stupidly at the teenager watching it. 

"Ash..."

"Sis, We can watch a movie!" He said and took the remote control to switch the channel.

As a serious person, Ira would never watch TV. But with the new digital TV set-top box, it is convenient to watch movies.

After some consideration of Ira's likes, Ashay chose a suspense movie. He didn't see the name of the movie, it turned out to be a horror. The only impression that the whole movie left was dark and bloody. 

She was watching the movie when a mutter entered her ears. Ashay flinched every three seconds with his hands covering his eyes.

"Don't watch."

"No, I am a big guy. " With determination not to be seen as a coward, he tried to watch the movie. Her attention now was bot on the movie but on her brother. He would close his eyes, even his ears in every horror scene. 
Though he thought no one saw him, she realized this big guy was scared. When she turned he had this weird posture.

"What happened?"

"Toilet?" he said.

"Go."

"Go together." he clutched her sleeves and said meekly. Ira had no other choice but to drop him at the door of the washroom. She held in the giggle. 

"Stand at the door, okay." He built the courage and went to pee. 

"Sis... Sis..." He called from the toilet. 

"Yes," She knocked the door.

After few seconds,"Sis.."

"Yes?"

"Sis."

"Say something. How do I know you are out there?"

"Ok."

They got back and continued with the movie. 

Ira felt a sinking on her shoulders, she turned her head to see Ashay snuggling in her. His shoulders trembled as he leaned on her. 

"Don't be scared. It's okay." The movie didn't even reach the interval. Even if the movie scared him, he was more scared to leave Ira and walk back to his room.

She sighed, caressed him to lie down on her lap. She then pulled the coat hanging on one side of the shelf and covered him. Though she continued to watch the movie she did decrease the volume. 

When the latter half of the movie was finished she lifted his head and kept a pillow there. next morning he complained about her leaving him alone. 

That was the last time he borrowed her lap.

Ira, a cold arrogant tyrant wanted to stand at the top of the ladder at all cost which included even her family.
In the end, all she got was desolation...
She left her husband,
And everyone left her one by one.
Her child, her Father, her brother, and her mother...

Reborn a decade before at a turning point of her life, she was given a second chance.

She was pregnant again…

Kate comes forward and receives her certificate and report card. She bows down as a form of respect and goes back to her seat.

Kate was now 18 years old. Well actually 18 and a half. And she was in second year of her college at Yen university. She skipped an year after writing a special exam. So she was a sophomore right now. She had always topped her cyclic examinations and now her semester exams. A lot of people were jealous of her, not only because of her brains but also because of her beauty. She wasn't skinny like those dead looking models on TV nor was she fat. She had just the perfect face with a sharp jawline. Her lips were plump which made her look cute and seductive at the same time. She had fat at all the right places. Her skin was flawless just like a piece of jade. Her body had also turned out very well. She also maintained it by going to the gym and working out at home. 
As for her team, they were at her new apartment in California itself. She was all alone in Japan. That's what she thought. Her mother never called her. She would just call her once a month, probably to tell her that she was still alive. 

She had only one friend in college called Mimi. She was the only one she would talk to. Kate had become an introvert. She barely spoke. Most of the times, she would listen to Mimi speaking for hours. For Mimi never minded it. She had gotten used to Kate and her habits. She liked Kate as she was simple and quite straightforward and not like other bitches and gossip monger's. 

In the college Kate used to sleep the entire day. The college demanded mandatory attendance, so she had to attend it. At night she would perfect the codes in a program she and her team were developing. She would also do part time jobs at several places to hide the actual source of money in her account. Her main source was - the black market. On weekends, she would go to have lunch with Mimi. 
Mimi knew Kate was busy and hence aloof but she also felt quite bad for her. She had no one in her life. Her house also looked as if no one lived there. Only the bare minimum's like a refrigerator, a washing machine, a dish washer, some cutlery and other basic kitchen things were present.The only thing that kept that place alive was Moon - Kate's cat. The one thing that surprised Mimi the most when she came to Kate's house for the first time was the number of books she had. She had a hall full of books. She had converted it to a library. There were books of every genre... except romance. When Susie asked Kate the reason, she simply said she didn't believe in love.
Kate had changed a lot after Susie's death. No one had ever seen her crying, even in the toughest of situations. She had kept her promise to Susie. She wanted to focus on completing her and Susie's dreams. And she would do anything to achieve them.

Kate Brooke, now 21, having an IQ Of 165 and the youngest woman to be the CEO in her country. 

She didn't reach here just by riding some wave of good luck. She worked for it, took the ruthlessness of the world, suffered all the back stabbings that her loved ones gave her.

Hence came her name 'The ruthless Queen'

When he came out of his Chamber he saw his servants lined up outside showing respect. One of his servants came up to him holding a blood-covered sword. The servant held the sword with his two hands up and asked "Master, I have retrieved this sword in your night carriage while I was cleaning up, do you perhaps, wish this sword to be thrown out?". 

He looked at the sword and remembered it belonged to the woman he had brought in, and without saying any he took the sword and tread off to his study, his servants look at their Master's fleeing figure dumbfounded, then they looked at each other, and now at the two huge doors which was their Master's Chamber, still speechless they were wanting to peep inside to see what Elder Cong was doing but discarded the idea and they all run back to their duties that are yet to be fulfilled.

Now that he had recalled what had happen at the Old Temple, he was then filled with curiosity. Every fiber of him wants to know, where did the woman came from?, where did the woman got her wound from?, how did the woman ended being at the Old Temple?, Is she another spy that had been sent to him by that Old Man. Questions started adding up, he was curious, he was inquisitive, he was "Interested" to the woman who he had just picked up after he had handled his own affairs, and NO he had never done this kinds of things in the past, he took the "Initiative" for god's sake he brought a woman to his forbidden fortress.

When he reached his study room he then locked himself inside and examined the sword that he was holding in his left hand, he grabbed a piece of cloth and dip it to glass of water then he started to wipe off the blood away from the blade of the sword, most of the blood already clotted and was a bit hard to remove so, he used some methods to remove it and successfully wipe the blood off completely.

He sat down with his feet crossed and started to inspect the object that he was holding, he saw some unfamiliar characters along the blade, that added another question on his list he then stands up and started rummaging his collection of books.

He kept on looking for more information that he could gather from the sword, that can probably help him know where the girl came from and probably lessen the question and tension that has been building up inside him since he saw that woman.

When his master left his Chamber An Yu look at the huge doors dumbfounded, then his master's words slowly sinks in. An Yu looked carefully at the wounded woman who was lying on his Master's bed and sighed "What's going on master's mind? bringing a woman, and placing it on his bed?" he mumbled to himself.

He did what he ought to do, but cause him great amount of time, based from the woman's condition she requires a lot of medical attention, so does blood which she has loss due to her wound. It took him 'til the next day, he was still mending the woman's wound who was now at a better state.

An Yu was dead tired but stayed to finish the woman's wound and was stilled when he saw a familiar mark, a mark that you could only see to a Huli Jing, he then asked himself "Why would Master bring this vixen fox into his own chamber? No, Master would never bring a woman to his bed especially a Huli Jing like her!.", An Yu shook his head profusely he was full of question but remembering his master's words An Yu began to continue what he was doing in the first place, then after he had finish he then storm out of his Master's Chamber, and looked for his Master.

An Yu was looking for his master he then remembered his master's words the other night, he tread off to his master's study. While on his way he heard gossips from the servants talking about the "Woman" that their master brought in the other night, saying the woman was beautiful, pretty, attractive, charming, and so on, he walk pass them as if he hadn't heard any and had only one goal in mind to "inform master what he had just found out!", thoughts were bubbling up inside him, he was restless.

He was nearing the study when he heard noises from the outside, it sounded like someone was ransacking his master's study, he reach for the knob of the door and discovered that it was locked, now he was sure that something was not right that he had to take precautions, he was prepared for his assault but was stilled when he his master came out of his study looking haggardly and restless, his master looked at him for a couple of seconds then grab his collar and dragged him inside his master's study, after he had been dragged inside, his master locked the door once again and began to looked for something, as if it was like his master's life depend on it.

While he was stilled by his master's actions he was rooted in his place, staring at his master he was dumbfounded. An Yu was shocked from his master's actions and finally asked"Master, may I ask what are you looking for?" his master didn't even took a glance at him and continued to compile notes, books and other things filled with information. He sighed and once again asked"Master, If may i be of assistance, please let me know.". 

He was in suspense not knowing what his master's actions, well to start off his master wouldn't even talk to him, his used to his master's coldness but this is too much!, second his master's study was turned upside down, knowing his master he doesn't like things messy and dirty in short he was a "neat freak", and lastly his master was restless, his master could never looked like this, not in a hundred years not even when they were intruded by some spies sent by that Old Man.

An Yu was still in his spot and didn't move an inch, sweat trickling down his forehead he didn't even bother wiping it off he was preoccupied, staring at his master who seems to be "restless" compiling whatever it is and not talking, he was on edge he didn't know what to do, he didn't know what his master was doing, he felt he was going crazy the thoughts that have been bubbling inside him earlier was building up so much that he could explode.

An Yu was now holding a thread, a thread that could snap if this keeps up, he's on the brink of self-destruction. Seconds turn into minutes, making him wary then he heard his master's  firm voice "Sit down." he gladly obliged hearing his master's voice already save him from any further mental damage.

An Yu felt ecstatic but the feeling was short-lived, seeing his master's facial expression he knew that his master wanted to discuss something, and that 'something' is of an important matter. An Yu is now moping, he didn't know what he should feel at the moment he was clearly having first world problems. Just by looking at An Yu's brooding face, he didn't waste any more second on keeping An Yu in suspense he then place the sword onto An Yu's lap and placed the compiled notes, books and other records containing information about the sword in front of An Yu.

An Yu felt a coldness from the object that was resting onto his lap, he looked at the compiled records that was placed in front of him by his master, who was compiling it earlier when he was dragged in, he now looked at his master with a questioning look as if he wanted to ask his master's action but cannot find the words for it. 

He clearly understood what An Yu was trying indicate so, he sighed looking at his assistant then soon spoke "I want you to look through these records, clarify it. And also examine the sword on your lap, I want results this afternoon." he blurted out in one go without even breathing in. He was looking at An Yu who was staring at him, dumbfounded. He then took a deep breath and said with a firm tone "If you have question better say it now before i leave.".
