A fanfiction that is influenced by another fanfiction called "The Babysitter of Heroes". 

Some OC servants. Overpowered. Don't expect consistent updates and stuff like that. I'm really lazy. I do this for fun. Maybe crossover with other series.

I am a fan of Eastern fantasy novels and i wanted to write one myself. I began to write just this month and the first novel i wrote was a complete failure , i had to force my friends to read it an like it 
. I got only 6 comments even after writing 17 chapters. They felt that the story was not unique and have read those things already , so i started writing fanfiction on Naruto. I did this just so that i would atleast get some decent number of views and comments. 
The result was overwhelming, and thanks for all those people who showed their support and voted for this novel. I have read all the comments and reviews. Yes my explanations are short and somethings are not understandable and fast paced, but in my own defense i am not a professional writer. I will try to improve the explanations and developments.
I had read that some feel Neji always gets his way, but don't all heroes in general get what they want. I will try to improve and write things in a more realistic manner.
Anyways thanks again for all the support shown i really appreciate that.

The party finally made it to the inn and ordered their meal to a table.

They soon finished eating and moved onto wine. At this point the sky was already darkening and people were preparing for rest.

During the trio's meal, the two girls fired questions to David about his home world and made small conversation while enjoying there meals.

Morral: Sir Ganymede, I heard legends of how the holy weapons could grow stronger, but I would have never guessed they could eat other objects in such a way.

She says this while twirling the glass of wine within her hand. From her looks, she could be about a 7/10 with clean, clear skin. 

This was one of the weird things that David noticed since coming to this world, that there was a lack of skin conditions that would normally effect people within the lesser class. It would almost seem as if acne and pimples do not exist, if not for the few exceptions that he saw on the open street. David didn't know what to make of it, so he simply blamed it on the presence of magic, as he normally would in unexplainable cartoons and games, and find the reason for it on another day.

Ganymede(David): I had some idea that this shield could do such a thing, but never in such a great way. Just imagining that scene with the piano makes me stop breathing.

David: 'If I remember correctly, the three stooges would feed their weapons entire creatures instead of feeding them individual parts like Naofumi. That was the main reason why Naofumi had better stats then them.'

From the story, Naofumi, the original shield hero, would split the monsters he killed into pieces before feeding them to his shield. By doing this he would get four or more new shields that give him an overall bigger stat boost instead of absorbing the full monster corpse. The trade off for doing this gave him weaker shields then the best shield from the monster, but he got more bonuses thus becoming stronger.

With the thought on his mind David immediately takes the cutlery in his hand and places it ontop his green orb.

The girls watched with expectation as the piece of metal made contact with the orb.

After a few seconds of nothing happening, David was forced to give up his efforts. He placed his fork back on his table napkin as he gave a huff.

Myne: I guess your shield won't accept everything, will it. 

She gave a small giggle with that comment, curiosity was evident within her tone as a smile grew on her face.

David: I guess not, but that doesn't mean I should lose hope.

With those words David grabbed his wine glass that sat on his right side and touched it upon the shield, clearly worried about spilling its contents.

Unbeknownst to David, Morral, who was to his right as well, held her breathe for a second. This pause may have been mistaken as a sign of anticipation for what was to come to a normal person, but to the red headed girl across the table to Morral, what she saw was a hint of fear laced with worry.

David, who was oblivious to the expressions of his teammates, was now reading the text that popped up after absorbing the wine glass.

Conditions Met: [Lesser Intoxication Shield], Passive Ability unlocked: [Drunkard], (Alcohol Resistance up(low)), *Locked*

David kept a straight face as he read the notification of the shield he just gotten.

David: 'Dafuq? Well... this is a good reason to why Naofumi didn't drink his wine when Myne offered it. But, its best to not make trouble too early.'

He also noticed the *Locked* stat of the [Lesser Intoxication Shield]. This was the first instance if this happening since he unlocked the [Orange Balloon Shield] out on the fields. Back then he was Lvl. 1 and when he reached Lvl. 2 he unlocked the conditions. 

David: 'I guess shields that have no relavence towards fighting have next to no Lvl restriction, since I can use those new shields.'

When David was going to continue his unlocking spree, the door to the inn busted open and from the other side came Motoyasu and Ren. Motoyasu came in first with one of his teammates grabbing onto his arm while Ren came in near the end after most of his teammates already walked in. 

Each group got themselves a separate table and ordered their own food and drinks before eating. During this time Itsuki also came in and did the same, it was kinda weird for all of them to suddenly show up, but David didn't really care. David was so busy focusing on the ongoings at the other tables that he didn't realize that Myne was trying to gain his attention until she waved her hand in his face.

Myne: Hellooo... Ganymede, it's rude to ignore a lady, especially at her own table.

Collecting himself, David gave his table his focus yet again to find that they started drinking from their glasses.

Ganymede(David): Ah, yes... What were you asking again, I wasn't completely listening.

David gave a small laugh at himself while Myne made an exaggerated face.

Myne: I asked you what race you are, your clearly a demi-human. Yet, I never heard of one with traits like yours. The only ones that come close are the elf's of long ago, but they died out thousands of years ago.

David's curiosity skyrocketed in that instant. He didn't know if there were fairys or elf's in this world due to them never being mentioned in the novels. But it seemed he got his answer.

David: Actually, I'm not a "demi human".

Both of his teammates furrowed their brows at his words. Morral had her mouth slightly gaped while Myne just had a look, as it she just misheard him.

Morral: But... your clearly not human, just look at your ears and those marking on your forehead.

Myne: Yes, you can't just tell a bold lie without explaining yourself.

Both of them were outwardly dissatisfied with his answer so David decided to add context.

David: Actually I'm the magical being known as a fairy.

Myne: A what?
Morral: Fairy?

Both of them were confused.

Myne: Don't you mean Fae? Those aren't real Ganymede.

Morral: Yeah, those are only in old story books.

David was surprised that there are any stories to begin with.

David: ' Well at least they have some idea about what I am.'

While the girls were talking David took off his hooded cape and grabbed a new wine glass with a wine bottle and filled it half way.

David: Well, at least you know what they are. That's what I am, so excuse me.

With that David got up and walked to Itsuki's table with his wine glass in hand. Along the way he gained a quite a few glances, either due to his looks or his apparent racial differences, David didn't really care. The one real annoyance David saw as he swayed towards the table was the armored teammate of Itsuki, he was giving him a dirty look as he took each step.

David: 'I forgot that he was a racist Three Weapon Cult follower.'

When David got to the table he pulled out a chair and sat with the chair's back to his chest. Itsuki who noticed me coming, finally gave me a greeting as I sat at the table.

Itsuki: Ganymede, it's nice to see your well. Have you been able to level with the shield. Did you come over to say hi to me.

Ganymede(David): I've been doing fine, I'm Lvl.4 right now so I'm doing great. But the reason I came over was to invite you all to a game I plan on having us heroes and our companions playing.

Itsuki seemed intrigued but before he could respond I took a cookie from a basket on their table.

Racist Cultist: [Angry Racist Noises]

David: *Psssstt* *Spitting wine on the Racist*

Itsuki: Mald! Calm yourself! Sorry Ganymede, please forgive him for what he said.

Taking this opportunity, David quickly had Itsuki consent to the idea of playing the game when everyone was ready and prepared to leave the table. But, before leaving he turned to the racist guy and slammed the nearly empty glass on the table.

David: I'm not a killer, but don't push me. 
Revenge is like the sweetest joy, only after cookies.
(AN: Find out yourself)

With that quote, David took a bite from the cookie in his hand. The racist slammed his fist against the tables.

Mald: [Smaller Racist Noises]

Itsuki: Mald!!! 

With that David swiftly left the table as Itsuki tried talking to the mustache bastard and went to Motoyasu's table.

After all of that, I got all of the heroes to come together to play a game of "I Never" under the premise of helping introduce themselves.

David: Wine, Beer, Ale, Mead. I'll even take rum if thats all you got.

In the game "I Never" everyone will have a glass of some liquid, preferably alcohol, and will be forced to drink their drink when they have done what someone hasn't done. Everyone gets a turn and the game ends when all four heroes run out of their cups.

When it is your turn you start with the sentence, "Never have I ever..." before giving a quote.

The game itself was interesting at first. There was the occasionally odd "I never" like "Never have I ever touched a corpse" or "Never have I ever been with a man". Both of those came from men of the team member group. The were also the eventual virgin and sinner call outs of "Never have I ever had sex" or "Never have I ever killed a person." I was forced to drink on both even though I could have skipped. 

By the end of the game, the male knight of Ren's party won with a few swigs left and everyone was slightly buzzed. Except for Itsuki who choose to drink cider like the brat he is. I envisioned things being a bit more exciting, but it was more relaxing then anticipated. I know for a fact, that the party members were pretty surprised at how inexperienced the heroes were when they gave simple "I never's". This world is literally in the middle ages with magic. 

One of the female knights called out "Never have I ever casted a spell" and all the heroes were forced to drink, except for me. It was honestly pretty irritating to see half the people playing partly drunk and slurring their words, but it helped set up for the next game.

Truth or Dare.

During this game of "Truth of Dare" nothing too demanding or unusually punishing can't be commanded. You also can't give cruel orders like break a finger or bone and you can't make someone get naked if they don't want to.

It was a hassle explaining the rules but when David was done, a table with 15 buzzed people started playing a daring, new game.

With this going, David started the game by being first. His first target was Itsuki and he asked with the key phrase.

David: Itsuki, truth or dare.

Itsuki: Truth.

David: Ok, what do you think about Nazi's.

(AN: Sorry to cut it here, this was meant to be a really long chapter but I keep feeling lazy and tired after a few hundred words a day. When the series is remade this will be put together with part 1. This chapter was meant to stretch to the morning of that accusation, but I want to flesh out the story and not rush everything.

19 years that I lived here, I never regretted getting into the hero business. I read enough fanfiction to know what happens if you change something. What I had yet to realize that this was the world where I live and breath this is my second chance at life not that I needed it.

In my previous life, I lived a good I was born to a normal household and lived a good life, but it was cut when I died in an accident at the age of 32. My parents were already passed away and I had no wife or kids. I still remember the of blood filling my lungs, a steel shard had pierced my lungs; drowning in your own blood is a not the way to go.

Then I came to this world as the son of Robert Vastine and Cassie Vastine. It took me a few years to accept them as my parents, Robert and Cassie where parents anyone would be glad to have. After 3 years I came to know that I am in the DC Universe And then I thought should I get involved in that mess filled with heroes, villains and aliens. I was excited, come on I mean your in a world where the impossible is possible so I geared up to be a hero. I started to train my body to learn mix martial arts and other fighting forms I was like this till fifteen. Then one day I went to Metropolis on a trip there I saw Superman fight Metallo. Well, that fight had caused a lot of collateral damage and me, I couldn't even help those injured people on the road because I was scared. That day broke my spirit to be a hero if I could not save those people then how was I suppose to save others. Then I just gave up the whole being a hero business. Now four years afterwards I regret that I gave up. I wanted to beat myself for giving up if I didn't maybe there would be a chance of saving both my parents now I have to live with my mistake.
I have to change I have to do something I don't want to be powerless.
Gotham City is not something that you can clean up and I am not Bruce Wayne do it. The Batman is just one man and tries to change Gotham but he should have realized that Crime and Corruption are parasites that grew with the city no matter what you do it keeps coming back. The Bat put the criminal in prison and they just break out for there and cause more damage. Gotham needs a clean slate. And for I will have to go through bodies, blood and also supervillains. And need to change this city from the top to bottom and I am going to start with Victor Zsasz.

I going to kill that man for that I need Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot.

What happens after death is a concept, but for me, it was another chance. I got a family, a home and then it was taken from me because I thought what happens around me was not my problem.
Now comes THE HOLLOW

Hey readers, first before anything I wanted to thank you for giving this work a shot. It's the first fanfiction I ever posted, it's the second I created. Just wanted to let you know some of my thoughts on this story and Dragon Ball in general. I will attempt to keep this brief. As an added note, this document is not as edited as my normal posts.

I have been a fan of the series for years, not to the extreme levels, but still a fan. I own some of the sagas on DVD. I have seen the Super series and played both Xenoverse games, but not the offshoot Dragon Ball Heroes. It has been awhile, since I watched the series all the way through from original Dragon Ball. 

Things I can't actively remember about the series I have to research or out-right makeup. Also, making up my own stuff about the universe part of the fun. Even though I have used some characters and concepts from the movies, but I will not use all of them.

Some people have asked me to make a list of power levels for characters in the series, but I chose not to. I personally feel power levels are just used as a literary device to build tension or quickly show a superiority in strength that needs to be crossed by the protagonist. I have an abundance of Scouters in my story because they are a technology that does exist in the Dragon Ball world. 

However, I borderline dislike power levels because some people get too hung up on them. I have done so myself in the past. One of the good things about power levels is for the fans to get to play detective and debate and try to figure them out. I should have stated enough power levels by this point to be able to guess at what they are.

Something that could help in power level detecting the characters is what I did for Saiyan Power(Zenkai Boost, Saiya Power). The series varies greatly on how Saiyan Power works, but I used a system.

With limited data for the Dragon Ball wiki and help from a friend this is what developed: 

A Saiyan that it is [beat down] will increase their power by roughly 1.1x - 2x, an average of 1.5x when healed. (This number came from Vegeta going from 18000 to 24000 after fighting on Earth. He also went from 24000-30000 after losing to Zarbon.) Emotional distress multiplies the [beat down] by 10x, bringing it up to 15x (humiliation or harm done to something or someone you care about), an an additional 2x to that (x 30) if you believe a person you care about just died or will die soon Vegeta gained from the 250k-400k range up to millions in power from his fear of Frieza when he made Krillin blast him. Goku healed from the effects of Ginyu getting beat up in his body and went from 90k to around 3 mil. That was increase of 33x! Well super accurate or not, that's the system I decided to go with. Hopefully, the explanation was put into words correctly.

To answer another question my inspiration for Raditz's transformations come in part from the Broly Super movie. The Super Saiyan transformation was inspired by mixing the original Broly movies' Legendary Super Saiyan form and the Great Ape. Hence, red eyes and black nails. The mutation aspect was from the Blutz Wave machine Bulma made in GT to make Baby Vegeta into a Golden Great Ape with him having no tail. I thought maybe drastically more Blutz Waves would do something different and cause a different effect. I wanted to add some uniqueness with doing something super out there.

A person from our world dies and is reincarnated in the Dragon Ball universe as the Saiyan Raditz brother of Goku. The new Raditz is determined to leave his mark on the universe and not be forgotten like the original Raditz.

Life never came easily for Dino.
Everything he did would 99 percent of the time fail.
Everyone he cared for would abandon him, in one way or another.
Money would pretty much run off on its own, somehow.
The only thing that came easy to Dino was dying.
But for all the times Dino died, he would never stay dead.
His death count at the time he was twenty one had already hit seven.
Doctors would always say what a miracle it was, the fact that he'd revive himself from death every single time but to Dino it was a curse.
The only peace.
The only tranquility. 
The only time he felt like everything would be okay was when he was dead, as odd as that sounds.
The quietness of death was comforting to him.
Don't get me wrong, Dino never tried to kill himself; it was just his bad luck.
Again it was due to his bad luck or just the universe hating him, he could never tell which.
The simple fact about his deaths was his heart, or more accurately a heart condition.
An exceedingly rare heart condition,
How rare you ask?
Only 1 in every 2 billion people have it.
So yeah, it was super rare and Dino was the lucky recipient.
Despite the fact that life had dealt him such a shitty hand, Dino was a good person.
Due to his condition, work wasn't exactly on the table; due to the whole dying thing.
No one would employ him.
But he'd still keep himself busy.
At care homes, helping the elderly.
At the local orphanage, teaching the older children basic maths, English and some history and geography.
For the younger children he'd read stories or make them up.
Stories of gallant heroes, god-like adventures and super powered beings from otherworld's.
It was fair to say that the children, old and young loved him but as did everyone else in his life, they would eventually leave and he'd still be stuck; never going forward or backwards.
Time rolled by.
Dino was 23.
He was still helping out at care homes and at the orphanage.
But the difference between when he was 21 and 23 was simply success.
When he was 22 he had decided to write the stories, he'd told the children over the years down into books and their success exploded.
Selling millions of copies all over the world.
Some had even been turned into movies and comics.
Gaining success similar to the marvel movies and comics.
Fanfiction had even started to be written about them, which Dino had to admit he enjoyed reading.
So let's just say he wasn't short on money.
Despite the fact he was pretty much rolling in cash, he never kept more than he needed.
The money he'd earnt went straight back into the orphanage where all of his stories had originated.
Because of this, he became the orphanages biggest donor and its biggest helper.
The children's lives became better than ever.
They all knew where it came from, their big brother Dino or that's at least what all of them had taken to calling him.
He still read to the younger children and taught the older children which they all seemed to listen to more than their actual teachers.
The only down side to all to the last few years was the fact that Dino's heart condition had become more life-threatening.
How you ask?
Unlike before, where there was only a chance of him dying at any moment; now it was almost a certainty. Although he was safe as long as he didn't physically stress his body, which was pretty simple with his current lifestyle.
Well that's what he thought anyway.

When your luck is so bad you die 11 times by the age of 23. Most people would give up but not Dino. He kept walking forward despite all the obstacles placed before him. Helping people as he went. When he finally died he was given a chance at a new life with some perks. Which he embraced wholeheartedly. Follow him as he journey's in this new world, he now calls home.

Hi! For my QI readers, I realised that you didn't get to read how I started writing Spirit Immortal. So below is a short description of myself!


Background about myself and inspirations for writing Spirit Immortal
Currently, I am a university undergraduate, and I have been reading fiction for years. I first got into reading fiction because of anime. Initially, I was a pure anime/manga fan. But I then found out about the existence of light novels. Light novels were far ahead from the existing anime, so I started to binge read translated volumes on Baka-Tsuki. It became somewhat of a drug to me. I kept reading and eventually, fictions had become part of my daily life. However, everything changed when the Yen Press attacked… Suddenly, many of my favourite novels disappeared, and less and less light novel translations surfaced. 

Finding myself in a severe deficit of fictions to read, I found something called Novelupdates. Every few minutes, there was a new novel chapter being released. I was overjoyed. Finally, I was able to satisfy my daily fiction needs. That was how I got into wuxia/xianxia novels. Being ethnically Chinese and fluent in both English and Chinese, there was a great allure for me in these stories. When I was younger, I would frequently watch The Legend of the Condor Heroes and many what we call "wuxia xiaoshuo." So seeing that the traditional stories blend with modern themes was somewhat shocking to me. To think that such a part of the internet existed!

So I started reading a lot of wuxia/xianxia stories. I remember the early days of Coiling Dragon and Stellar Transformations. The friendly competition between Gravitytales and Wuxiaworld. But one day, I encountered Doulou Dalu. For those who have not noticed, Spirit Immortal's cultivation system is inspired by this very novel. The reason being, it was the only cultivation system that I could actually follow. It's a very simplistic system, rank 1-100. The other Wuxia novels cultivation systems confused the heck out of me. However, worry not, Spirit Immortal is not a fanfiction of Doulou Dalu. In fact, other than the cultivation levels, they are nothing alike.

For a while, Doulou Dalu was my favourite novel. To a certain extent, it still is my favourite translated wuxia/xianxia novel. But I started feeling bored. Every single book that I read followed the same format. And after many disappointing stories, I thought to myself… Hey, I could just write something I like!

Thus, the idea of Spirit Immortal started germinating in my mind. It took me over five months to finish plotting the major arcs, characters and finally the ending before I started typing my first word. Majority of the reason why it took so long for me to start writing this story is because of my procrastination and school. Additionally, I didn't know if the story was going to be well received. But eventually, I steeled my mind and said: "Whatever, as long as I am satisfied with the story, who cares?"

So yeah, currently the number one fan of Spirit Immortal is myself, and I can't wait to put the entire story I have in my head into words for all of you to read. It will take time though, so do stick around!


Issues I have had when writing Book Two
I have realised that many of you were unsatisfied with the pace of the story, saying that it is too slow and whatnot. And guess what, I agree! I have been putting the character and world development at the forefront of my story thus slowing down the story progression, However, fret not, now that the first two books are completed, the story progression would begin to expedite as I believe that I have sufficiently developed my characters!

I'm trying to be more descriptive in my writing but that is still a work in progress. Perhaps it would be the greatest hurdle for me but rest assured, I will try my best!

Another major issue I had was time management. I started writing Spirit Immortal during my semester break where I had plenty of time. I even managed to complete Book 1 during that break itself! However, once school started, I had to figure out a way to balance work, personal life and writing Spirit Immortal. There were some days where I only had three hours to efficiently write, proofread and edit my chapter before I deemed it ready to be published. Hence, there might be times where my writing quality dropped slightly but I'm trying my best to ensure that I retain and even improve on my writing quality, so please be patient with me on that one.


Future of Spirit Immortal
Once my semester break hits once more, I will be sitting myself down in order to write as many chapters as I can. Perhaps, eventually, I will take the road of creating a ******* account to allow you guys to read advance chapters and at the same time, give myself some funding to weather through the school days. 

So yeah, I can't thank you guys enough for continuing to stick with me as I continue to write Spirit Immortal. I hope that I will be able to deliver the satisfying fiction that I have conjured up and brought you as much enjoyment as I had in writing this story!

Over a million years ago, the first human contracted with the first Spirit. Ever since then, Spirit use has become commonplace. Humans used Spirits to carry items and start fires. Eventually, even start wars. Thousands upon thousands of years past and one day, one human did the impossible. He transcended his mortality and ascended to the realm above.  

In the present day, the Frie Clan was once a great clan of the Himmel empire. However, a devastating battle ten years ago crippled the clan and their numbers dwindled. To make up for their loss, the upper echelons decided to adopt young orphans and nurture them to become a future pillar of the weakened clan. Shin was one of those orphans. 

Although picked up by the Frie Clan, not all is smooth sailing for Shin and the other orphans...
