Power is something no one is allowed to use in this world. Those who are born with powers are sent away, but some escape and commit acts of villainy. We need heroes with the power to stop this villainy, so here they are.

Confused on how to use his ability, 15 year old Angel is forced to either enroll into a prestigious hero school or never learn the true nature of his growing power.

Nick was an otaku. He loved reading novels and a particular novel had gained his particular obsession and devotion. The novel was one of the current top novels, a modern fantasy world novel with various heroes with different tropes.

It was the current blockbuster in the web novel world, with millions of readers and fans from around the world. Nick too was deeply engrossed in the theory making and lore of the world.

However, as the years passed, Nick could feel that the author was making up random stuff for the views. Nick felt like the novel was straying away from the true intentions, as the romance subplots all ended up in flames, the heroes actually ended up becoming villains and destroying the very world they inhabited due to infighting and many other dramatic reasons.

In the end the book ended on a tragic note that left a bitter and ugly taste in the readers mouth. Nick, in particular, began spamming 1 star reviews all over the review sites as well as bitching about the novel in the forums, writing his own theories about how the plot should have been realized.

One day, Nick received an email from the Author of the novel. 

"You don't like my novel? Then change it yourself!" 

That is all the mail said. In the mail was an attachment with the story. Nick was surprised at the Author mailing him and suspected that it might be an email hacking scam. 

But curiosity got the better of him and clicked the  download button. Suddenly, his eyes went dark. He couldn't feel his body anymore. He felt real, but also unreal. Like the life he had read until now had all been a dream. 

Suddenly, like a movie, all details, backstories, histories and the core story of Heroes Rising was burned into his consciousness and he remembered every bit of it. Nick was scared as he didn't understand what was going on. 

The inability to feel his body or see anything but darkness made him extremely uneasy, however, as if this too were a dream. It passed and he finally felt like he had woken up and could feel his body.

He opened his eyes and found himself standing with several other kids dressed in a weird combat uniform. Everyone looked straight ahead and he did too, to find a beautiful red haired woman with a glowing face, but a heroic air, looking at the students.

"Freshmen students, welcome to the Hexagon! I, Alena, as the student council president, welcomes you to this paragon institution training the next group of the world's heroes!"

In the crowd, Nick was dumbfounded. Alena? Hexagon? Isn't this from the beginning of Heroes Rising? 

Then a simple middle aged man with green hair, green beard and green eyes walked onto the podium. "Children, today you will take a step into the real world. To become heroes. To protect our world. As the principal, I look forward to seeing your rapid growth within Hexagon!"

Nick was stunned again. "Didn't this guy match the exact descriptions of principal Ruian from the novel? Could I entered the novel of Heroes Rising?" He wondered.

In panic, Nick began searching his body and found a card within his trouser pocket. He took the card out to see the details.

Nick Caritt, 18, Freshman Hexagon. Along with these details, there was a photograph attached. Nick looked at the photo and was a little surprised.

"Is this who I am? Nick Caritt... I actually don't look half bad, but this name was never mentioned in the novel. Looks like I was reborn as a fodder character." He thought to himself.

After the introductory assembly got over, the people slowly followed their lines to the class. Nick blindly followed the queue and ended up in the classroom.

Heroes Rising began in the hero university Hexagon. This arc had several important characters who would all go on to become one of the top heroes in the world.

Drake Snow was one of the main characters and had the biggest potential as the hero. He had a strong superpower dormant within his body, just like the other heroes. He had brown hair and looked very confident smile. He was also very handsome and girls would all flock to him. He was the perfect Hero Template character.

Then there was Hailey Bloom who was a female main character. With dark black long hair and a tall and strong personality, her attractive appearance made her the pick of the heroines. In the story, she had feelings for Drake but eventually the Author messed the situation up by having Drake fall in love with someone else.

John Crow was a main character with anti hero like tendencies. He had a rivalry with Drake and actually would like Hailey who always snubbed him. He was a powerful hero family scion who looked down on Drake.

Elly Still was the fourth main character in Nick's class. She was also the daughter of a super rich hero family and had feelings for John. She was also a powerful person in the future.

When Nick recollected these four and their complex relationships, he shook his head at the clusterf**k of a mess the Author had created off of these people's relationships.

 Nick didn't have much time to think, today the students would be measured for talents. The talent measuring device was a machine that analyzed the abilities and strengths of the testers and displayed them in digital terms.

The talent would be rated on a scale of 0 - 10. Nick was well aware of this scene. This was when the heroes would end up distinguishing themselves.

The teacher of Nick's class, a beautiful woman of the name Shu Qi, led the students to the talent testing room.

She looked at the students and spoke. "Today we will be testing the students for talent. No matter what talent the machine shows, remember that your hard world will lead you forward to success.

When Nick woke up one day, he discovered that his day had an extra 24 hours.

An hour of preparation later, Garou waited in the middle of the empty streets, sitting on the 'corpse' of the bullman hunched with elbows on his laps, as he waited for the heroes to arrive. Not only that, his body wasn't alone, accompanied by an even bloodier 'corpse,' one that looked like a cricket.

Luring heroes to him instead of personally hunting them was a tactic he never considered in his world, mostly because some of S-Class heroes were critically above his league. Regardless, he still wished to test out his targets here if his findings were of any indication.

All or nothing.

God rewarded his patience with the presence of one hero, who jumped at the sight of Garou sitting on the back of an unconscious hero. This hero was garbed in the attire themed off a wolf.

"What the?" Said the hero.

"Yo," Garou ostentatiously waved the phone in his hands with mocking grace.

His provocation was super effective against the hero.

"Get off the hostage and face me, Villain!"

He shouted as he charged towards Garou, tensing his right arm as he pounced towards Garou.

"Slow."

Garou smacked him aside, not even bothering to look at the result of his handiwork. That one move was enough to determine the hero's worth, his judgment sound when the hero crashed into the wall, rattled into unconsciousness.

In his wait, two more arrived at the scene — a pair of heroes garbed in ninja attire.

After them, four more heroes arriving at the middle of Hosu. Before long, a small battalion of heroes greeted him, some standing atop the roof of buildings looking down upon him at the edge while others arrived at the scene in a rush. A few even appeared in mid-air, levitating with the power of flight as well. There was also a hero with an actual jetpack.

"State your identity, villain!"

"Cease all hostilities and turn yourself in at once!"

The heroes around him demanded, every one of them preparing their Quirks for combat as they surrounded the Hero Hunter.

Garou only smiled in return. Upon briefly glancing at the hero he knocked aside, he saw a phone in his hand.

'So he called for backup before he slept. Huh.'

Rising from his 'seat,' Garou casually jumped off the hero he stood on and landed on the cold hard street.

"Ahahaha! Come at me, heroes! Let the Hero Hunt commence!" Garou declared, spreading his arms wide as if welcoming them.

Today was the day the Hero Hunter made his mark on the world, his first grand appearance with the heroes of Hosu as his sacrifice.

From that day, bodies of iconic heroes painted the street along with with their crimson blood, their downed forms a mockery of all their efforts and what they stood for - and a challenge against the world's collective concept of justice entirely.

Setelah mencari dari berbagai sumber, Majestic Hero akhirnya bisa menentukan, melalui Squealing Hog, Fraksi Iblis memang sedang mencoba untuk menyelesaikan Golden Keys Mission. Golden Keys Mission versi mereka adalah menyelesaikan sepuluh misi dari penatua Demigod Underearth melalui Mobile Chamber dan hanya orang yang mendapatkan kunci yang diberikan akses ke Buried City. Ini sangat mirip dengan misi di Eternal Peak, kecuali versi Fraksi Iblis mengharuskan mereka menerima misi di bawah tanah. Namun, ada satu hal yang membuat semua orang cemas.
Misi kedua bagi Fraksi Iblis juga adalah misi balas dendam—misi yang harus mereka selesaikan yaitu membunuh sepuluh Dark Knight Commander dari sepuluh area berbeda yang ada dalam area sepuluh Mobile Chamber.

Pertama adalah tengkorak yang dimiliki Rakoff, yang ternyata adalah Embedded Stone yang langka. Ketika Majestic Hero memegangnya di tangannya, dia merasa dia berubah menjadi Spectral Shaman.

Black God merasa putus asa. Para anggota lain Black Jail tak punya pilihan selain menerima kesepakatan ini—mereka tak sebesar Hall of Heroes dan tak sekuat Fallen Angels.
"Qin Ruo. Tak masalah. Aku sudah mendapatkan dua Divinity lagi dari Lich…"
"Hehe, baiklah kalau begitu."
Karena itu, Qin Ruo, di bawah tatapan Black God dan para anggota klan lain yang iri, menerima Dragoon's Skull dan Skille Book untuk 'Azure Rising Dragon' dari Majestic Hero. Lalu memberikan tengkorak itu pada Violet Orchid dan Skill Book pada Subjugator.
Kali ini, Violet Orchid menerima hadiah ini dengan senang hati. Dia tertarik pada Dragoon's Skull. Selain itu, dia mengerti bahwa tengkorak ini tak akan berguna bagi Qin Ruo, sementara Dinosaurcerer lebih membutuhkan peningkatan level daripada benda kecil ini. Namun, bukan dia yang akan menggunakannya. Menjadi Radiant Priest terkuat di H&G, dia harus meningkatkan kerja samanya dengan peliharaan yang sudah ada, bukan menambah satu lagi. Tengkorak ini adalah untuk Burning Rose.
Burning Rose hampir naik ke Tier-5 dan dia tak memiliki kemampuan bertarung seorang Field Commander. Dia juga tak selihai Qin Ruo dan kelompoknya. Karena itu, jika Burning Rose bisa mendapatkan Dark Colossal Dragon Tier-4, dia bisa menjadi lebih kuat lagi di permainan ini. Violet Orchid pun sudah memikirkan banyak hal untuk membuat Burning Rose dekat dengannya.
Sementara untuk Subjugator, tak mengejutkan bagi Judge dan Slayer's Heart ketika melihat Qin Ruo memberikan Skill Book itu padanya. Subjugator sering mengorbankan pertahannya untuk damage yang lebih kuat. Ini bukan hanya membuatnya menjadi seorang petarung yang begitu kuat di medan pertempuran tapi juga rentan pada serangan lawan. Jika dia bisa menguasai Azure Dragon Rising, efek Stun atau Knockback dari jurus ini setidaknya bisa memberikan celah meskipun pertahanannya lemah.

"Semuanya, ayo kembali dan mulai persiapan kita."

After poking into various sources, Majestic Hero was finally able to determine that, through his informant Squealing Hog, the Demon Faction was indeed trying to complete the Golden Keys Quests. Their version of the Golden Keys Quests was to complete ten quests from Demigod Underearth Elder through Mobile Chambers and only the ones who acquired the keys were given access to the Buried City. This appeared to resemble the quests on the Eternal Peaks a lot, except that their versions required them to receive the quests underground. However, there was one thing that concerned everyone.
The second quest for the Demon Faction was also the "Revenge Quests"—quests that required them to kill ten Dark Knight Commanders from ten different areas that were under the purview of the ten Mobile Chambers.
Therefore, the ten Dark Knight Commanders were also the Demon Faction players' targets.

I was a little surprised it didn't just blow up in my face.

I aimed the ki ball directly into the front streets of the Empire State Building before blasting it off.

The electric like ball of yellow ki that flickered as it traveled through the city sky with great speed.

Was too fast for any of the costumed heroes to escape its detonation range or realize the threat of the strange yellow orb.

They could only look with curious gazes for a brief second as the bright ki ball missed their group and landed nearby on the city streets.

The moment the ki ball sunk into the water and touched the ground it exploded.

Quickly enveloping the entire city and Neo Heroes in a dome of death.

As the radius from the ki balls energy expanded over thirty miles vaporizing all life and even the water in range.

The dome of energy glowed with a grossly incandescent light before fading.

Leaving only a massive crater behind where the once great city of Neo New York City stood.

Now the grave for anyone caught in the blast and for a majority of the world's greatest hero team, Neo Heroes United.

The three saiyans hovered above the massive crater with no signs of life for miles creating an eerie atmosphere of silence.

Mazye and Kaper flew over besides me.

 The three of us waited to see who could have survived the blast besides the blue giant.

I couldn't see anything and the range for my ki sense wasn't wide enough to scan the entire area so I used my scouter.

From the rubble and debris in the crater my scouter still picked up a few signs of life.
