Dwayne and Shelly driven off down the quiet road in the stolen Lotus Elan at dawn as they headed to their next destination. Feeling bored he quickly fiddles with the radio. "And this is BBC news! Last Night Milton City was at the scene of terror as a supernatural battle ensues, resulting in many casualties and 6 million dollars in damages. Spokesman, Mr Tod Kelland, told interviewers just now that the mayor has been notified about the situation and is coming to give a talk tomorrow at 3:00 pm in the Brigham Palace, 5:00pm UK time to our British listeners( It's basically like the White House). He expressed his condolences to those lost in the fight and is working with the victims families in the case. As for now, Milton City is still on lockdown as they search for two perpetrators whom fled the scene." Bryony silences the radio as she feared, "They are after us." Shelly glances at her phone, seeing messages from Zoe whom expresses her concern regarding last night.
"You alright? I saw you and Dwayne in that crazy footage. The class chat group is going crazy over what had happened."
She quickly creates a reply to her, knowing that school would start soon, "Zoe don't worry about me I'm fine." She puts down her phone as she tells Dwayne and the others that their friends may be in trouble. 

"What do you mean?" Bryony asked. "Since our cover is blown and we are hunted by the authorities, they will do anything to find our positions!" Shelly gets more frustrated as Dwayne assures everyone saying that they will get them later on as they continued driving down the road towards a dirt path to another lookout point. It viewed the amazing ocean and the Ardent Industries building. The building was completely different from several years ago. The building now has reinforced fences, guard towers from the outside and many security guards roaming about. She won't be surprised that the Military would be here as well. "Ok the only way to access this place undetected is by going through the sewers by the bay." Bryony led the way as they went down the slope, nearly caught several times by the watchtowers as they continued towards the sewers slipping inside with ease. They swam up the building's piping into the very office that her father worked at. "Do you know which way is it?" Hektor questioned her as they slipped out of the piping into a crossroad of cubicles and chairs. She closes her eyes, trying to remember to location of the office as she roamed to the left direction. They followed her until she stops at an office. Shelly opens her eyes to realize her dad's name is still there but the place was nearly cleared. They entered the room as Shelly sat down to activate the computer. "Remember Shelly, we are finding three blueprints that are stored in your dad's computer. These weapons are capable of defeating Katz and her misfits." She starts up the computer to see a password message, she had flashbacks on how she back then memorized the password thinking that it would be useless, until today. But the problem was that she already forgotten one and it was the one at the start. She thinks carefully of her choices hopping that it wouldn't lock them or set an alarm off while looking at Dwayne guarding the door. "Bryony do you think that her father got sick of the program so he created a failsafe?" Dwayne asked as Bryony quickly replied, " Probably so but he may use the weapons for his own benefit." Eureka. Shelly found a break and managed to enter the password, logging in to the network.

She scoured the background looking for the right file as she plugs in her own thumb drive. (She took her pencil case and her PC as she escaped) She uploads the blueprints but is disappointed by the loading times. Dwayne was dreaming a little, wishing that it is all over when he spots two glowing yellow eyes in the darkness followed by several pink eyes.
"Who are you? Show yourselves!" He gets his hammer at the ready, prepared to toss it and smash evil people's faces with it. A pink, glowing eyed creature then stepped out of the shadows. "I've expected your arrival Bryony." 
"Katz." She growled as Katz draws out two blades from the hosts' arms. "You may had did well killing Chomp but your still both nothing to me. For today I won't be fighting you." She withdraws her blades and points at the shadow behind her, "He is." Dwayne was shocked to see Jack as he dropped down from the ceiling. His body even tougher than before with yellow glowing veins and eyes. "What have you done to him?!?" Dwayne seethed with anger, he knows himself that he hates Jack for all he had done but Jack didn't deserve this kind of punishment. Katz laughed hysterically before commanding them to attack.

Shelly watched as Dwayne ran to meet the horde. The transfer is now at 80%. She watches it impatiently, eagerly to quickly remove the thumb drive of these files. Dwayne stomped most of the horde but struggled with Jack. "I SMELL FEAR IN YOU JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHERS THAT HAD FALLEN." 'Jack' mocked Dwayne as Dwayne tells him to suck it. The loading process was finally done. She quickly took out the thumb drive informing him as they tried to get away. Suddenly the alarm sounds. Katz had triggered the alarm. "Everyone retreat, let the authorities deal with them." She said as they slide back in as Katz reverts to Mr L. Cambridge to the utter shock of both Dwayne and Shelly. Behind him, soldiers pointed their rifles at them. Demanding them to surrender. 

They immediately shrink to small size as the men started firing at them. "You ok sir?" A lieutenant asks Mr L. Cambridge. "Yup I'm ok. Found them stealing information. Anyway where is my helicopter?"  The pair listened in disgust knowing the truth. They quickly slid into their slimy forms into the pipes as one throws a grenade. Causing an explosion and the breaking of pipings. They quickly slide down as they come out alive from the sewers, hiding in the bushes from the watchtowers. Eventually making it back to the lookout point. They quickly get into their ride as they make their getaway. 

"So do we get them?" Dwayne asked. "Yes but we must ditch the car first." Bryony replied as they drove past several armored vehicles.

When experiments go wrong, it can change people in many ways. 
Dwayne your weird kid at school who is often bullied at school after a tragedy. One day he encounters Bryony, a slime from an experiment gone wrong and offers his help. Soon he gets dragged into the action. What situations would he encounter? And how would he solve them? Bert brought Zane a change of clothes and some documents to go over. While Zane showered can changed Bert visited with Bella.

"How are you feeling?" 

"Everyone keeps asking me that. I am fine."

"That's good. So Dad tells me you seen mom when you died." he said.

"Yah, she talked me out of staying with her." Bella said.

"I'm glad she did." Bert squeezed Bella hand, "I don't know what we would do with out you."

"Mom told me to tell you the little red will be a handful but a blessing but she did not mean the child." Bella said.

"She is talking about Lily. She is a handful glad mom likes her." Bert laughed.

Bert did not stay long he needed to get the documents back to the office and he needed to complete what Zane needed done.

Betty was the last one to visit that Bella needed to see.

"I won't ask how your doing I hate when people ask me that." Betty said.

"Well I'm fine now really. I have a message for you from mom." 

"What is it? Is she disappointed in me?" Betty asked.

"She said and I quote, 'Tell Betty I am proud of her for taking on special kids that will change the world."

"Really she is proud and she likes my kids. Do you really think they will change the world."

"Mom is always right." Bella said.

After everyone was gone Zane pulled up a chair next to Bella and continued her story.

◇◇◇♡♡♡◇◇◇ THE LAUGHING HIPPOPOTAMUS cont.

The hippopotamuses were afraid to look upon it, and bowed their heads between their legs. 

"We come, O Glinkomok, to implore your mercy and friendly assistance!" began Uncle Nep; and then he told the story of Keo's capture, and how he had promised to return to the black man. 

"He must keep his promise," said the creature, in a voice that sounded like a sigh. 

The mother hippopotamus groaned aloud. 

"But I will prepare him to overcome the black man, and to regain his liberty," continued Glinkomok. 

Keo laughed. 

"Lift your right paw," commanded Glinkomok. 

Keo obeyed, and the creature touched it with its long, hairy tongue. Then it held four skinny hands over Keo's bowed head and mumbled some words in a language unknown to man or beast or fowl or fish. 

After this it spoke again in hippopotamese: "Your skin has now become so tough that no man can hurt you. Your strength is greater than that of ten elephants. Your foot is so swift that you can distance the wind. Your wit is sharper than the bulthorn. Let the man fear, but drive fear from your own breast forever; for of all your race you are the mightiest!" 

Then the terrible Glinkomok leaned over, and Keo felt its fiery breath scorch him as it whispered some further instructions in his ear. 

The next moment it glided back into its cave, followed by the loud thanks of the three hippopotamuses, who slid into the water and immediately began their journey home. 

The mother's heart was full of joy; Uncle Nep shivered once or twice as he remembered a glimpse he had caught of Glinkomok; but Keo was as jolly as possible, and, not content to swim with his dignified elders, he dived under their bodies, raced all around them and laughed merrily every inch of the way home. 

Then all the tribe held high jinks and praised the mighty Glinkomok for befriending their queen's son. And when the day came for the Jolly One to give himself up to the black man they all kissed him good-by without a single fear for his safety. 

Keo went away in good spirits, and they could hear his laughing "guk-uk-uk-uk!" long after he was lost in sight in the jungle. 

Gouie had counted the days and knew when to expect Keo; but he was astonished at the monstrous size to which his captive had grown, and congratulated himself on the wise bargain he had made. And Keo was so fat that Gouie determined to eat him—that is, all of him he possibly could, and the remainder of the carcass he would trade off to his fellow villagers. 

So he took a knife and tried to stick it into the hippopotamus, but the skin was so tough the knife was blunted against it. 

Then he tried other means; but Keo remained unhurt. And now indeed the Jolly One laughed his most gleeful laugh, till all the forest echoed the "guk-uk-uk-uk-uk!" 

And Gouie decided not to kill him, since that was impossible, but to use him for a beast of burden. 

He mounted upon Keo's back and commanded him to march. So Keo trotted briskly through the village, his little eyes twinkling with merriment. 

The other blacks were delighted with Gouie's captive, and begged permission to ride upon the Jolly One's back. 

So Gouie bargained with them for bracelets and shell necklaces and little gold ornaments, until he had acquired quite a heap of trinkets. 

Then a dozen black men climbed upon Keo's back to enjoy a ride, and the one nearest his nose cried out: "Run, Mud-dog—run!" And Keo ran. 

Swift as the wind he strode, away from the village, through the forest and straight up the river bank. 

The black men howled with fear; the Jolly One roared with laughter; and on, on, on they rushed! 

Then before them, on the opposite side of the river, appeared the black mouth of Glinkomok's cave.

Bella had fallen asleep so Zane put down the book. He walked over to the mirror and looked in. He was not the same man he use to be.

Just s few month ago he was happy with his life as The Beast of Business. Then this little kitten came into his life and turned it upside down and he never wanted to go back to his old life again.

One day a cleaning girl getting his home ready for a party caught his eye.

Could someone so simple thaw his hear and turn the beast into a man?

He quickly turned. He picked up a vase and threw it.

He stormed down stairs. "Who is in charge?" he roared.

Bella stood up, "I am sir, my name is Bella Beauté, what can I help you with?" She held out her hand.

He stared at it but could not take in, "It is improper to sit out in front of my home and have a picnic. There is a park down the road eat there."

"I do apologize sir. We will do that from now on. Is there anything else?" Bella tried to keep calm.

With out a word he stormed back into his home. There was still 40 minutes for lunch so they packed up their lunch and headed to the park.

From the window he watched the little girl drive away. 'Bella Beauté... Beauté is french for beauty and she was a beauty.'

"Good! You did good!" Leo praised, as he didn't that this guy would actually managed to increase his accuracy from zero to sixty percent in over just four days.
After all, Dan could now shoot six out of ten bullets within a fifteen to twenty meter distance.
It was already the morning of the fifth day of the agreed time, and through checking on his [Map]. Leo already saw that a large group of people are heading towards his direction.
Leo and the others could then hear the rumbling sound of a helicopter, they then saw five Chinook helicopters heading towards them.
It was something Leo had bought before leaving the Sanchez Mira base, and the only people who know about them are the members of the Alpha Team, most of them know that their leader has some unusual ability that really defies one's common sense.
So they are already used to seeing things appearing out of nowhere, it's even one of their major discussions every time they have a break, as they would guess what kind of ability does their leader have that brand new looking weapons would just suddenly appear from out of nowhere, like Leo had just robbed some kind of top secret military base to always bring out unexpected weapons of war.
Leo knows about his men being curious and even talking about it, this is the reason why he would always go out of the base that lasts for quite a long while, so that he would have reason to tell, especially his parents at where the weapons are coming from.
After all, if Leo just stays in the base all the time like a NEET, then they would truly become more suspicious about his ability.
After all, where the heck would someone who only stays indoors all the time and get those kinds of weapons without going out and travelling outside the chaotic lands?

The five helicopters slowly landed on the large open space in front of them, as a few soldiers walked out from them, and immediately ran towards Leo.

Three of them are from the Alpha Team, and the rest were the new recruits from Sanchez Mira Outpost.
There is actually eight soldiers from Alpha who came with them but the other five as in charge of flying the helicopters so they didn't disembark as they would immediately leave after getting the survivors here.
And not even a minute later, Kurt and Martha and the survivors who have been living under them came in droves.
"Wow! T-those are military grade helicopters!" Kurt blurted out the moment he got off his vehicle as he gazed at the five parked helicopters in disbelief, and there are also others who had the same reactions as him, but there are also others who are not even a bit interested about it like Martha.
After all, isn't the most important thing right now been solved? They finally have something that could them at the other side of the broken bridge, where they could finally start a new chapter in their lives.
The soldiers started helping them board the aircraft, as they would even help those who are carrying heavy things, especially those elderly who have a hard time moving on their own, as those in Alpha's would carry them instead.
"But you're really an amazing guy, aren't you?" Martha winked at Leo as she passed by him.
Two of Alpha's who saw the scene looked at each other then just smiled, as they knew trouble would happen if this woman happens to be one of the lucky people to migrate to those bases in UK.
After all, there's no shortage of beautiful women back at the headquarters, and even then, those women don't even dare to flirt towards Leo openly.
A couple of minutes had already passed by Leo is still standing there all alone, staring at a certain direction.
"I see" Leo just smiled and headed towards the nearest helicopter and boarded it.
Tutututu~!
The rotors of the helicopters slowly spun around, causing dust to billow around them.
The helicopters slowly flew one by one towards the air, carrying its nervous and excited passengers all of them are filled with expectation at the unknown place they are heading to.

There are currently three people standing on top of three story house, as their gaze followed the disappearing silhouette of the five helicopters.
"Are we really not going with them?" Lhea asked as she turned towards John.
"I'm really confused though, there's no future for us staying in this place, but you kept insisting that we should" Lesley also asked him.
"You guys already know the reason why" John just smiled at both of them.
John came with this decision two days ago, it was because he realized that he actually didn't want to become someone else's subordinate, as he wanted to be the one to dictate what he wanted to do and lead his own people, showing just how the same Leo and him are.
But what he didn't know is that this selfish decision he made today would cost him...a lot.
A few days later.
Ten soldiers from the Alpha Team and twenty civilians boarded the Pelican along with their pilots, the civilians started curiously looking around when they arrived inside as they wanted to see how this ship looks inside.
Especially the kids who were with them like Ada and Jason, as their heads are furiously looking around like little critters as the soldiers helped them on their seats.
With them are all of the current nine mutants of the outpost including Kurt and Martha.
Leo wanted to bring all the mutants with him at UK as he needed a lot of individuals like them, as the United Kingdom is far more dangerous than the Philippines, with their zombies and mutated monsters more numerous and dangerous than the latter.
But he left the remaining members of Alpha to manage the military outpost here until a new group is assigned to replace them.
Buzzing~!
The Pelican buzzed as it slowly took off from the ground, as the civilians that were left behind looked on with envious expressions on their faces.
"I'll leave this place for you for the time being" Leo said as he turned towards Captain Richards while patting his shoulders, Leo is really happy as he got another one hundred thousand in defender coins for completing a mission issued by the [System].
"Please leave it to me sir! I just hope my replacement would get here faster" Captain Richards hit his right chest and said with a laugh.
"No worries, you're replacement would probably arrive in two weeks, a month tops" Leo said as he chuckled, then he took out a small bottle from his pocket and handed it over to him.
"Use it well" Leo said smiling.
"Thank you sir" Captain Richards gratefully said, as he carefully received the [Intermediate Recovery Potion] and carefully put it inside his chest pocket.
"I'll leave this place to you"
"Yes sir!" Captain Richards saluted, along with his remaining men.
Leo then turned around and leapt over the wall and headed towards the direction where the [Winter] is lying around.
Leo immediately headed inside and sat in the pilot seat, and said with a serious voice, "Gideon, Set course back to the Stronghold!"
[Yes commande!]
[Destination Confirmed!]
[Setting course to Stronghold!]

The [Winter] slowly took off and suddenly sped away towards the distant horizon.

"Katie pierce, Katie pierce that's my name." that's what she, the 12 year old girl said to me. Me and Katie met when we were in school, I was a lonely but popular person in my school as I was well known for my prestigious family name. I moved from Australia a week ago and moved to here to  London, UK they are said to be posh civilised people and would drink tea and eat scones all day, I would rather have  family time with my parents, but I can't. You see my mum and dad died on a private boat during the summer. They went to Thailand there for their 23rd Anniversary, back at home you would call them high school sweethearts but true were only married for their titles.

I was known to be an "accident" well that's what Grandma Crow always says, she was father's mother who was always annoying and there was sweet loving granny A that's  my mums mum. I call her granny A short for for grandmum Alexandra she was kind and loving especially towards me, she treated me like her own  but since grandpa Joe was no longer with us as he had cancer she suffered trauma and afterwards had a heart attack and passed. I cried for days... months even now evil Grandma Crow was here she took me and my happiness away and sent me to London, UK she said it would man me up and make me a proper gentleman and not a  wuss they had to rely on people.

I was sent to the UK by plane... my first ever plane ride I've ever experienced. I was so scared I think would've wet my pants if the lady next to me haven't given me a swirly lollipop to distract me whilst the long journey was ahead the lollipop tasted like peppermint, strawberries and candyfloss mixed in all together, exotic much. When we landed in London the lollipop lady gave me a big smile and waved goodbye as she and I parted away from each other. What was I going to do and where was Grandma Crow going to send me. She said professionals would groom and advise me for 6 years before returning and taking over father's and mother's  company.  There were men who was wearing navy blue suits that showed me to a car and drove me to a huge site that was hours and hours away, the board showed with large letters and   spelled out,  St Oliver's Academy for the rich and elites. Is this where I would be staying for 6 years if my life...

Everyone was surprised when the Kazakh royal family said it would deploy Lynx helicopters for maritime attacks on its private merchant vessels.
Taking security guards on board was not enough, but carrying a Lynx helicopter was an excessive measure that surprised the world.
It was intended to inform the whole world including the terrorists that the royal family would no longer sit idle in compliance with threats no matter what others said.
It was good news to the shippers who entrusted their cargo to Arirang Shipping.
This attracted more cargo to Arirang Shipping than before.
Container ships and bulk carriers of the Arirang Shipping passing through the Suez Canal, as well as oil tankers carrying crude oil and gas from the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf, were arranged to form a fleet of ships when sailing, and one Lynx helicopter was assigned to the fleet.

China and Russia had failed to intervene in the alliance of allies in the Gulf of Aden, also known as the "Portal Freedom Operation" and the "Somalian Sea Battle" in the past. That was why Youngho suspected that the Chinese navy was plotting terrorism as an excuse to advance into the Arabian Sea.
Even Russia with its strong military power could not station its navy in the Gulf of Aden because communist states were not allowed as the U.S. would not allow hostile vessels to hover in the Indian and Arabian seas.
To justify entering the Gulf of Aden, the Gulf of Aden must be in such a dangerous area so that Russia or China could naturally intervene.
So he believed that it was orchestrated terrorism by China as Russia could not have done it as it was a business partner with the Kazakh royal family.
Kazakh royal ships must have been easy targets than other big nations' vessels.
 
 
"Your Highness, even if you have evidence, you should avoid direct protests and take a roundabout route. China has become too strong that even the U.S. can't handle it. You should avoid direct confrontations."

"I heard the Gulf of Aden operation is named 'Sterilization', did you name it?"

The U.K. had maintained close ties with Youngho since the days of the Arirang Autonomous State.

After some moment, she finally took a step and stood before Kira. She looked like she finally reached her limit and was now ready to speak and ask.
However, before she could say a word, she was distracted by a loud sound coming from above them. She turned and saw a helicopter descending. 
When the helicopter was finally on the ground, Zeri looked at Kira with slightly widened eyes. She looked like she was astounded.
"You're right, were going to ride in that helicopter." Kira leaned in on her, looking amused about something. When he saw her eyes widened upon hearing him, he playfully pinched her cheek. "What, don't tell me you're scared." He added, his smile now turned mischievous. Deep inside him, he was actually hoping that this girl would be scared so he could at least start showing her his manly prowess. But… as expected… his hope was just too far from happening. 
"Really?! Wow!!" her eyes sparkled in excitement. She was obviously thrilled, like a child who was excited about riding an extreme roller coaster for the first time. She looked like she couldn't wait anymore and was even the one who dragged Kira towards the helicopter. 
Kira could only sigh but as they approach the helicopter, he suddenly halted, causing Zeri to curiously turned at him. 
"Wait a moment." Kira said and he took off his coat and quickly wrapped it around Zeri's waist. Order the helicopter to land right now; keep them waiting for too long, they might as well dismiss themselves."

Cherry thought Daniel wasn't going to ask her the same stupid question again, but surprisingly Daniel asked again.
" Do you like this stupid helicopter more than me?" This time his voice was a little cold.

Cherry blinked her eyes repeatedly, then she replied with a beautiful smile , " Obviously I like you more than this stupid helicopter. actually I like you more than a submarine, I like you more than a ship."

Daniel starting laughing at her reply. He knew that she was teasing him, but yet he was happy to hear those loving words from her mouth. 
Cherry was amazed by his happy face, she decided to tease him a little more.

She looked at Daniel and said with a whispering tone, "By the way, this Alex guy is so handsome. I should not compare him with you, but frankly speaking he is more handsome than you."
There was a mischievous smile dancing on Cherry's lips.

Daniel help her chin tightly then he commanded Alex with a cold voice, " Alex, take off" Then he captured Cherry's soft pink lips.

He seemed like he was admiring the beautiful scenery, which was something that could not be seen in the city, but he was actually hiding how lost he was feeling.
Li Kangxue, a contract doctor that Cangping District Hospital had just sent over, was standing opposite him. He was only in his twenties and had just graduated from university not long ago. He was not very skillful as he smoked, and this mirrored his performance in the hospital.
District hospitals were a good place for doctors to spend their elderly years in. But if a doctor was unable to get authorized, it would be hard for them to live comfortably when they get old.
Li Kangxue felt even more downcast after he was sent to the Bazhaixiang hospital branch. After he was done with his first cigarette, he lit a second cigarette. "Keep them in a stable condition? If we're capable of doing this, the elderly man who had a heart attack yesterday wouldn't have died." Not many patients died under Li Kangxue's watch. That was why he was so uneasy. "Please think this through and try to make us sound as pitiful as possible when you ask for help."
"Can you do the same?" Xiang Xueming asked calmly.
Li Kangxue immediately became tongue-tied. His qualifications were lower compared to that of Xiang Xueming, and he knew way fewer people. Xiang Xueming could at least ask for help from his classmates and seniors from Yun Hua University, but Li Kangxue merely graduated from a mediocre university. Li Kangxue followed his gaze and looked ahead too. This was when he saw that a tiny black dot was approaching them with its back facing the sunlight.
"Is that a helicopter?" Li Kangxue widened his eyes when he saw the thing.
Even though he often saw helicopters depicted in movies, this was his first time seeing a helicopter with his own eyes.
Xiang Xueming had done his internship in Yun Hua Hospital, and he had at least seen the helicopter parked on the roof of Yun Hua Hospital before. Li Kangxie did his internship in a run down tertiary Grade A hospital, and he had seen way less of the world compared to Xiang Xueming.
As they spoke, the helicopter approached them. Xiang Xueming could see that the helicopter was golden, and he became excited. "The helicopter belongs to Yunli Medical Company. It should be Doctor Ling."
"Are you serious?" Li Kangxue could not really believe it.
To him, it did not seem realistic that a doctor would personally ride a helicopter over.
The weeds growing in the clearing in front of the Bazhaixiang hospital branch started swaying vigorously courtesy of the wind brought about by the momentum of the helicopter.
Xiang Xueming no longer hesitated. He quickly ran downstairs to maintain order and asked the people who had gathered there to see what was going on to step aside.
"Stop taking photos. Hurry up and step aside together with your kids. Drag your farm animals away too. What if the horses get scared and run into the helicopter? Will you be compensating them for the damage, or will they be compensating you for your dead horse?" Xiang Xueming simply winged it. He did not know how to welcome a helicopter either.
Li Kangxue had just responded to Xiang Xueming before he immediately pointed ahead and whispered, "Someone's getting out."
"What?" The place was extremely noisy, and Xiang Xueming could not hear him clearly.
"Someone's getting out!" Li Kangxue raised his voice a little.
"What?"
Li Kangxue shouted loudly, "So f*cking handsome!"
Xiang Xueming heard this clearly. He immediately turned and saw that the helicopter door had slid open. Even though Ling Ran was only clad in an ordinary large white coat, his presence was extremely strong as he stepped onto the clearing.

Even if a person were to disregard other factors, the fact that there was no ICU in the Bazhaixiang hospital branch alone was a matter of life and death for half of those seriously wounded patients.
Xiang Xueming hummed in acknowledgment, but he was a little hesitant as he looked at the helicopter. "The people in Bazhaixiang don't earn much. If they have to pay for the ride, they probably won't be able to afford it."
"It's free of charge. My department has paid for the helicopter," Ling Ran answered right away.
Even though the helicopter belonged to a medical company, the cost of operation to fly the helicopter back and forth from Yun Hua City to Bazhaixiang was pretty high. Even if Yunli Medical Company was willing to do it for free, Zuo Cidian would not have wanted to be indebted to them.

The moment they entered the hospital branch, everyone could smell the strong stench of blood, and a cacophony of noises rang out.
The small reception hall which usually housed patients who were waiting for their turn was full of hospital beds right now. The patients' family members who were here to take care of the patients were walking around the space, and it was so noisy that it could make anyone who stepped into the reception hall agitated.
Just by this scene alone, everyone could figure out what was going on in the Bazhaixiang hospital branch.
Ling Ran furrowed his eyebrows a little. "There are three things that need to be done now. First of all, Yu Yuan will be doing planning for infection control. Two, Lu Wenbin will be dividing the patients according to the severity of their injuries. Three, clean up the operating theaters and the wards."
