Outside the facility in the staging area for their departure, David Dang, felt the explosions through his feet.  While he knew each of them were aware of the risks to themselves and each other he was worried about any civilians who may be inside.  He moved to where the medic was waiting and said "We need to be prepared for casualties in poor condition.  As soon as it is confirmed that the colonel is safe, contact the base and request urgent medical backup to this location.  We will make do, until that help arrives."

"Yes Sir.  I am hoping for the best, but with those two explosions I have a view that we will have severely injured people rescued from the location," responded the medic while scanning the area behind the vehicles to ensure that there was no attack coming on their location from behind.

David moved back to his previous location at the front of the vehicles carefully scanning the area for signs of any potential attack on their position.

At the same time inside the facility Ben and Joseph, along with the balance of the team, having quickly and carefully cleared the second lower level-headed to the third lower level.  Here the screams that they had heard earlier were louder, and they met the first signs of any real resistance from those within the facility, with two terrorists firing weapons in their direction, while shouting "Allah akbar."

Ben, noticed at the first of these cries, Lieutenant Mohammad Akur tense.  He not only was a dedicated solider willing to serve and die for his country, but as a practicing Muslim hated with a passion what he saw as the abuse and misuse of his religion. Signalling to Lieutenant Akur, the two of them moved forward with cover from behind towards the voices.  As soon as he had a clear shot, Lieutenant Akur with two rapid shots took both men down.  Coming in from behind two other team members started clearing the rooms, while moving as s group along the corridor.  

After a few minutes, they reached there the two men shot had fallen, and one could still be heard breathing.  Before Ben could say anything Lieutenant Akur bent down and said, "I hope Allah, peace be unto him, will be merciful to you and your friends, but me I cannot at this time."  With that, at close range he took one more shot and finished him off.

Ben, as he stood back up said quietly "Lieutenant, take the emotion out.  We all know your view but remember we are here for a reason, not to take any form of revenge.  Anyone captured will face justice, you know that."

Knowing he had been called about letting his emotions get to him, Lieutenant Akur responded "Yes sir."

With that they kept moving down the corridor they had started, carefully clearing rooms.  As the group moved along the corridor they continued to meet pockets of resistance, which they quickly and efficiently took care of.  As they came to the end of the corridor, opening the door took them into a room that horrified them as soldiers.  There were various bodies stacked in the room, looking like they were ready to be fed into a crematorium to be disposed of.  From what they could quickly observe, each body was battered, bruised and showed the signs of torture and abuse.

The men in the room quickly noticed the solider's presence and could be heard picking up weapons.  Ben, Lieutenant Akur and the others with them, carefully took the best sheltered positions they could to start to deal with those inside the room.

Heading in the other direction was Joseph and three other soldiers.  Unlike the others, they found themselves in, what they could only silently describe to each other as a series of torture chambers.  As they kept opening doors, they either found men abusing and assaulting people they had chained up, or people simple left in the room naked often unconscious, but chained.  Where they found abuse occurring, they quickly and ruthlessly dealt with it.  On reaching the end of the corridor and clearing the last room from any terrorists Joseph, signaled to the men, to head to the other end of the level and aid the balance of the team while he worked his way back, reassuring the victims they found that they would soon be taken away.

"This person is so strange. Normally one wants as much exposure as possible and gain fame." Someone lamented. Any exposure of the book would also benefit them and the movie. 

"Maybe it's someone already well-known in the literature world and wants to start a new pen name? Maybe an infamous one. Wouldn't be the first who tries to make a new identity."

Rowan was getting visibly bored and annoyed sitting on the white chair tapping on the white table while staring at the white walls of the white room. It was like the polar opposite of his suffering before. First, it was all black now it was all white for what seemed like eons. 

Rowan's mental defenses were finally cracking a bit as he tried to log out again and nothing happened. He put his head on his hands which were spread on the table and tried to sleep.

Rickman watched him on a huge 200-inch display and felt pity. Rowan was just a bit younger as his daughter. He could imagine how he would feel if this happened to her and some creep was watching her every move. To look at her helplessness and refuse to offer a helping hand or at least a comforting word. 

"If there is a God this is how he must feel like, and if there is a God we are going to hell for this.", was his last thought as he turned away and walked out of the room.

He called Robert. 

"Hello, Bob."

"I will put Rowan on the official game server.", Rickman said.
 
"I don't think it's a smart idea. When we iron out the kinks in the helmet the server will go public at once. If Rowan is there can you guarantee no leakage of what happened?", Robert adamantly refused. 

"I can guarantee Rowan won't make it on the test server until tomorrow. He is losing it as we speak.", Rickman replied. 

"What do you mean losing it?", asked Robert.

"I mean he is just lying on the test table and has not moved in 10 minutes, It's just a matter of time before his stress level becomes critical and we lose him.", Rickman mixed some half-truths with the truth as he replied.

"Ok. Transfer him to Omnia but I want him out of it the moment another human not associated with our company connects. Am I making myself clear?", Robert said with a threatening voice. 

"Crystal.", said Rickman and disconnected the call. 

"Sorry kid. This is the best I can do."

Rickman went back into the control room and inputted his credentials on a computer which gave him the highest privileges over their servers.

First, he checked the operation of Omnia it was running normally. The load indicator showed it was not even at 1 percent of its capabilities. 

Rickman was lazy at creating content so he did something most in his field of work deemed impossible. He created artificial intelligence and made it simulate creation.

It was a virtual god that was born which created a planet from scratch then filled it with creatures. The life forms were modeled from every source imaginable. From Earths own ecosystem to creatures you could only find in the myths and legends of past civilizations. If that was not enough Omnia included also the most famous works of fantasy authors and detective novels NovaTech could secure copyrights from.

To test the system Rickman let it run for a month at maximum power. The whole company's computers were sharing the workload and every available computer was at 90 % capacity. Every day in real life signified 10.000 years in Omnia on a planet that was ten times biģger than the Earth.

Robert was going bonkers when he got the reports of power usage. Luckily Rickman knew his limits and didn't employ the dedicated servers of their games which were still making them money. NovaTech actually didn't lose money they just made a lot less.

When Robert got the reports of what Rickman achieved during that month he was in awe of the man.

5 billion NPCs which were thinking they are living breathing entities with their own family trees and relationships. 100+ billion animals and even more plants which evolved and were organically still growing. 

What Omnia created was not a virtual game but a virtual planet and while all of this was running at normal speed the system used less than 1 % of its capacity. 

That meant that even with every human alive logging in 2031 it would not reach 2 %. 

Robert was in awe of Rickman and full of anticipation. They quite possibly had the greatest game of all times on their hands and all they needed was for a way to get customers to connect to it and of course, pay for the privilege.

"What's going on?"

The calmer of the two nurses quickly replies, "His heart's failing, heart rate rapidly dropping. Did they not get the donor heart?"

A sad expression covers the doctor's face at the question, his hand balling into a fist before he can manage to give an answer.

His words were cut off as the old man started coughing, his body rattling as waves of pain assaulted him. Regardless of it all he smiled as a voice like gravel came from his moving lips,

Everything was black, a startling void that somehow didn't instill him with fear, but with a deep sense of peace as he floated along. A thought seemed to resound throughout the void,

Before the being could enjoy his peaceful afterlife everything began to blur as memories seemed to flash through the void. At first of a blonde haired young boy learning to crawl, walk, speak, and finally to read before changing again. Now it showed the blonde boy turned into a youth, his hands filled with books or back stooped over a desk writing and typing away at a computer. Years seemed to fly by as the number of books the youth read and wrote began to pile up. However, the more he seemed to enjoy his passions the more the toll of time began to ring as his figure grew weathered and stooped. Decades had passed indulging in his two passions and yet the man seemed not to care about the passage of time while taking joy in the words before him. Finally the memories showed the man's decline, the years where his vision began to decay and his hands became to dull to put his words into reality. The entity floating along could feel the despair the man felt as if it was his and yet still a joy came from that decrepit figure at all he had got to experience.

It was the last scene, of the old man passing away before the doctor came to his side and whispered something that seemed to connect everything. His words caused what felt like an explosion in the mind of the entity watching,

"Goodbye, Henry. You truly were one of the greatest authors of your time, find peace in that."

In the next moment that black void shattered giving way to the sight of a ruined plain that appeared to have survived dozens of natural disasters. Fissures dozens of feet deep and wide spread everywhere between scorched craters that could hold entire towns within them. At the heart of it all he could see a figure clad in damaged green armor wielding a spear that had broke off halfway up, the other half embedded in the massive creature before it.

It was that sight that truly bewildered the new arrival for the beast was the size of a mountain and covered in pitch black scales, it's body riddled with wounds and even two of its four limbs missing. It's head a mangled mass of purple fur, a dozen eyes, and a mouth that stretched from one knife like ear to the other. Almost like some kind of hellish mockery of a dog yet despite the dread it caused him to feel it was still slain by the toothpick like spear that had embedded in the center of it's skull.

Maniacal laughter broke the silence as the figure clad in green armor threw back his head before roaring,

"Finally! I've finally obtained my freedom!"

As if in reply a mechanical voice began to speak from the sky,

"Occupant Number 28,967 has earned freedom from Purgatory. Time taken: 4,350,012 Years. Trials endured: 253,965,201. Times Died: 26,001,110. Congratulations on your achievement, Cúchulainn. Soul now being entered into the Cycle of Reincarnation."

With that this Cúchulainn the voice spoke to was revealed to be the green armored figure as his body began to breakup into motes of light. A satisfied smile broke out on his face as his long red hair seemed to be stirred by the wind, his eyes shining as he noticed the new arrival at last.

"You're the one taking my place? Let me give you a piece of advice kid since I'm in such a good mood, the true trial of Purgatory isn't the trials it gives you, but death. Remember that, now go have fun."

He let out one last life before even his head turned into motes of light, this strange figure disappearing completely. Not long after it was only that wandering being left in the ruins, but before he could take action that cold voice once more spoke from the sky.

well first. it is hard for me to connect every plot into their conclusion with such confusing characters. with another system that I introduced, It became hard for me to give Zeid conflict and struggles. so instead, I removed every cultivation topic within the story and I'll solely focus on gamer leveling type of heaven.

don't worry. there's going to be a lot of romantic sexual activity that's going to happen and a lot of girls will be introduced. but if you drop it, it's okay. there's nothing to lose anyway. you can just pick it up again once the story is back on its feet.

"Let's begin again." The old man couldn't help but feel that Ma Zhi was a little too ridiculous. What the heck were these things that he kept mentioning? Nitrogen? Oxygen?

Plus, you have one foot in the grave and should probably put the other on in as well. Also you are perverted and even really ugly..." He kept on spouting random things that began to infuriate the old man. 

"Get to the point!" The old man couldn't take it anymore before yelling at him. 

"Sheesh! Don't scream to loud or you really will die, old man." Ma Zhi warned with a serious face. Seeing how Ma Zhi was actually being serious, the old man felt his heart burn with rage. 

"Just get to the main point!" The old man gritted his teeth and spoke. 

"Well, I think that I will allow you to continue teaching me! Although I am reluctant, might as well." Ma Zhi put on a face of pain before walking into the house. The old was seething in anger.

"Since you have decided, the lets begin once more. This time, I will help you sense the air!" The old man stood behind Ma Zhi with both knees on the ground. 

"Wrinkles, you better not do anything weird. A pervert like you may want my gorgeous body, but this body is only for the pretty ladies, not an ugly old man who has one foot in the grave." The old man began to get a migraine just listening to Ma Zhi.

"You know what? I think this would work much better if you were unconscious!" With that, the old man smacked Ma Zhi on the nape, causing him to faint. 

"Don't...****...me...!" Ma Zhi then fell down and his vision blackened.
