Anna Karenina is a novel by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy, first published in book form in 1878. Many authors consider Anna Karenina the greatest work of literature ever written, and Tolstoy himself called it his first true novel.

Matthias took a deep breath as he heard the knocking sound of his bedroom door. 

"Come in."

The strength which had left his body a moment ago seemed to return to his body with more vitality and with a more enhanced strength. That seemed to be the reason why he could casually answer the door without having an internal issue. 

The bedroom door opened and two servants entered with trays full of luxurious foods. On the back of those two servants was a third one who carries a small round table which was placed on top of Matthias who was sitting up on the bed. The other two servants swiftly placed the foods from the trays on the small round table and the three of them waited outside when Matthias dismissed them. 

"Mhm... this is worth reincarnating for."

Matthias felt happy for the first time after reincarnating to his new body as he savoured every single meal placed in front of him. He quickly finished in no time the foods that had filled the small round table. 

After he cleared all the foods from the table, he rang a small bell which was placed in the corner of that small table and the three servants from before went inside the room and cleaned everything up. 

A moment after the servants were gone, the door to Matthias bedroom was knocked once again. And this time, it was the three knocks which Matthias was familiar with. 

"Come in."

He answered the door and the household butler Glenn went inside the room with his hands full of books and scrolls. The butler cautiously placed the books at the table on the side of Matthias' bed and waited for his young master's orders. 

"Is that all?"

"Yes, young master. This is all."

Matthias quietly observed the butler for a moment before nodding his head as he dismissed the butler. However, the butler seemed to be hesitating as he quietly watched Matthias instead of leaving. 

"Umm.. young master, pardon me if I'm rude but shouldn't you be thinking of other ways instead of researching spells since.... since~"

"Since my plate was destroyed in the mana explosion?"

The household butler Glenn energetically nodded his head in response. Matthias slowly smirked at the butler as he asked him a question in return. 

"Then what do you suppose I should do?"

The household butler was quiet for a moment before he answered his young master's question. 

"I don't know, young master. I am quite ignorant when it comes to magic and spells. So the only thing I can say to you right now is to think of a method that require less mana."

'Ho! Ignorant my a*s.'

Matthias was flabbergasted.

'But I don't need researching since I already joined together my broken plate with pure mana.'

However, he kept his thought to himself as he dismissed the household butler. 

"I see. You may leave now."

The household butler Glenn bowed towards his young master and went out of the room. As soon as the bedroom door closed and Matthias was left alone in the room, he quickly rushed towards the pile of books and scrolls and began his research on an ancient relic. 

Even though his new body was not strong enough to handle the pure mana contained by the relic itself, Matthias still wanted to make sure the relic was on his grasp and use it when he was strong enough to handle it. That was why he wanted to obtain it as soon as possible such that he did not have to worry about it ever being loss. 

'That relic should still be at the same location from last time.'

He quickly went through the pages of the history books as he did not know what could have changed before he recovered his memories in his new body. He also did not know about the gap between his present life and his last reincarnation. 

'Thank God it's the same kingdom.'

Matthias was thankful that he was reincarnated in the same kingdom as from his last reincarnation. He quickly skimmed through the pages of the book until a single line from one of the history books caught his attention. 

"What the hell!"

He looked at what was written in the book again and again as he could not believe what was written in the said single line.

Matthias looked at the date written in the book and looked again at the calendar on the right corner of the table. He brushed his face with his two hands as he sighed in disbelief. 

'So there's a large gap of three-hundred years between my reincarnation.'

It was a large gap for Matthias as the largest he had ever experienced in the past was thirty years. However, he decided he should pay more attention to the relic he was looking for. 

'I must set myself free from the curse this time.'

It was his greatest desire to be able to lift the curse he was carrying on for so long. To do that, he needed an ancient relic of the greatest healer of all time. It was a relic which was said to be able to lift every curse and a relic which could heal all forms of injuries and diseases, no matter how serious it might be. 

'The Relic of Icozahr. I must obtain it this time.'

However, a problem seemed to arise when he compared an old map and a modern version of the kingdom's map. 

"Why is there a magic tower built on top of it?"

The location of the relic, which has always been a vast plain surrounded by terrains of mountain, now has a large and magnificent magic tower built on top of it.

Two hours hours later, a horse carriage pulled over in front of a magnificent stone building that stood about two hundred and fifty meters high and spanned about three hundred meters wide. This was the Gallery of Legends. There were no walls surrounding the gallery. In front of the building stood a beautiful rectangular boulder, about two meters high. 'Gallery of Legends' written in the Ga language in the Kadi writing system were carved into the boulder. All the four official languages of the Six Realms were written using the Kadi writing system. 

When the two boys found themselves standing in front of the massive building, Fiifi could not help but open his mouth sheepishly as though he was standing before something divine. This was by far the largest building he had ever seen. Well, the largest building he had seen until now was Shadow Blade. Ironically, even though he had travelled far from home, he had seen only few places in his life. And for the first time, he could add the Gallery of Legends to the short list of places he had been to. 

Upon entering the massive building, it felt as though the gallery was an infinite number of times larger than what they had seen on the outside. They found themselves in a grandiose hall supported by numerous stone pillars skillfully spaced from each other. Endless rows of tall book shelves that almost towered the ceiling were orderly arranged all over the hall. 

As he cast his eyes wide and far throughout the hall, observing every little detail, Fiifi realised that they were merely on the ground floor. He had never expected that the famous Gallery of Legends was just a library. Well, the largest library he had ever seen, to be honest. 

"A library." Fiifi smirked. "So the 'gallery of legends' is rather the library of legends. I was hoping to see more than just books."

"This may come as a shock to you, but books are a great source of knowledge."

Fiifi chuckled. "So what do we do now? There's no one here."

Elikem gazed at Fiifi as though the latter should have known the answer to that. Then he strolled along deeper inside the library. 

"Wait, Eli. You're not thinking of reading all the books here. I mean I know you love to read, but there are thousands of books here."

Elikem continued  walking. Then he finally stopped in front of one of the book shelves. "This library contains infinite knowledge about wielding impossible to find anywhere in the world. If you want to be even half as powerful as the most powerful legends that ever lived, then not only must you master your tumi but you must also sharpen your mind with knowledge."

Without taking his eyes off the mountain of books before him, Elikem added. "This very shelf contains knowledge about the Era of the First Protectors."

"The First Protectors." Fiifi whispered. But it was loud enough for Elikem to hear. Elikem turned to look at his friend in the eyes then smiled. Fiifi's merry eyes lit up for he instantly understood what his friend was suggesting. 

Elikem knew about Fiifi's obsession with Attaa Adja hence, for the longest time, he had wanted to bring him to the Gallery of Legends so his friend could learn about the first protector. However, there was one other reason he had brought Fiifi here. And it was not because of the books for there was more to the Gallery of Legends than books. 

Before Fiifi could think about how Elikem even knew about where to find books about the First Protectors, a calm but deep voice spoke from behind the two boys. "Young seekers of knowledge." 

The two quickly turned to look behind them. They had been enchanted by everything around them so much that they had never thought there was anyone else in the hall. 

The voice belonged to a frail old man with curly grey hair and grey eyebrows. He wore a long black  robe. The robe was sleeveless and thus revealed his wrinkled brown arms. He looked like he was in his seventies. "It's admirable, if you ask me. It's hard to find young lads in this part of the gallery where they can learn real history, numeracy and universal laws and principles. All they are interested in are the upper floors."

"The upper floors?" Fiifi asked raising his eyebrows.

The old man squinted his eyes then gently touched his creased forehead. "Is this your first time here, young lads?"

Fiifi nodded enthusiastically. "This place is vast. And you talk of the upper floors. What's up there?" 

"Nothing of concern to non-wielders."

"You're a wielder?" Fiifi asked.

"I prefer to be known as Ntim. I'm the Chief Keeper of the gallery."

"A pleasure to meet you, Chief Keeper Ntim."

The older man smiled at the smaller boy's gesture. Then he briefly glanced at the taller one with the large afro who had not spoken a word. There was a farmiliar intensity in the boy's eyes thus giving Ntim an odd feeling. But he quickly tossed it out of his mind. 

"May I add though," Fiifi continued, the grin not leaving his face, "that we are not mere non-wielders. We are disciples of Shadow Blade Faction. Here, take a look." Fiifi turned his left arm to expose the insignia on his shoulder. 

Ntim squinted his dim eyes to take a careful look at the insignia. "Ah, you're Martey's children."

"Well… yes." Fiifi said. "That makes things a lot more easier. Doesn't it, Chief Keeper? About the upper floors..."

"No it doesn't, son." Ntim chuckled. "You're just like Martey. Anyway, I'll leave you two, but remember, you're only permitted to use this floor. The rest are prohibited to you." 

The old man left the two boys to themselves. Fiifi smirked, "that was intense. I wonder what is in the upper floors."

"More books." Elikem said simply. "This floor has books on general knowledge that can be learnt by everyone including non-wielders. As you climb higher, the knowledge becomes more specialised. It's dangerous to assimilate knowledge on a wielding class you have not yet advanced to that's why we can't go to the upper floors."

"So the first floor has books on low tier disciple class wielding."

"Yes. And it goes higher until the twelfth floor which has books on divine tier sage class."

"So this place is just a library then. Why do they call it the Gallery of Legends? This is boring."

Elikem walked up to the shelves then pulled a huge book from the lower shelves. His solemn bright eyes were fixated on the book for a while until Fiifi walked up to him.

"The Nine Senses by Akofa Danku." Fiifi read the title of the book out loud. "The nine senses? I thought there were only eight."

"That  wasn't why I took this book." Elikem muttered. "This was written by Akofa Danku, the fourth leader of White Stallion Faction. It's the number one opened faction in Ayini and its fourth leader was considered to be one of the greatest legends of the kingdom. What I'm trying to tell you is that every book you find here is written by a legend from different times  in history.

"However there is a more important reason why this place is called the Gallery of Legends and that reason lies in the thirteenth floor. Ironically, not many people know this thirteenth floor exists."

The usually talkative Fiifi was rendered speechless as he stared at his friend with his mouth agape. First of all, he had never heard Elikem talk so much at once. Secondly, how did he know so much about this place? 

Elikem was a native of Ayini Kingdom so it wasn't surprising that he knew about White Stallion Faction. Also he was an avid reader, therefore knowing about a historical figure like Akofa Danku was not out of the norm. But the important question was how he knew about this thirteenth floor when he himself just said that only a few people knew about it? How could he know so much?

"Have you ever been here before?" Fiifi could not help asking. 

After an eternity of debating within himself as to whether to reply or not, Elikem finally said, "once." And that was all he had to say. 

But Fiifi had a lot going on in his mind. Elikem had told Fiifi that he grew up in Ayini so the latter had assumed that Elikem only came to Gamli for the first time because of Shadow Blade. Won't he have known about it if Elikem had come here already? Didn't that mean that Elikem must have come here even before he joined Shadow Blade? Suddenly, Fiifi had a strong feeling that he really did not know anything at all about his best friend while Elikem knew everything about him.

Even though there was nothing particularly strange about the information Elikem had revealed to him, it still made Fiifi wonder what else he did not know about him. Elikem never spoke about his family. In fact, he had never returned home during any of the recesses, hence Fiifi had always thought that he was an orphan. After all, why would anyone with a family choose to stay behind in the faction and refuse to go and visit them at least once? 

'Come to think of it, did he visit the Gallery of Legends while we were on recess? Why am I even dwelling so much on this? It's not even that serious."

"Would you like to go to the thirteenth floor?" Elikem asked, ignoring the confused look on Fiifi's face. 

"But the Chief Keeper said we can't go up there." Fiifi whispered. 

Elikem said nothing, only staring at his friend with unwavering certainty. 

Even if Fiifi didn't know all of Elikem's secrets, he knew exactly what this look meant. He smiled, his heart racing with excitement at the thought of breaking the rules. Would they get in trouble? If Elder Martey found out, would they be kicked out of the faction? Fiifi truly wanted to find out. 

"How do we break in?" Fiifi asked. He grabbed the book from Elikem and neatly placed it back in its original position. 

"What? No one is breaking anything. I'm just going to ask Ntim."

"Eli, are you insane or something? Did you not hear him say he won't allow us in or what?"

"Wait here. I'll be back soon." Elikem left a bewildered Fiifi who just stood there in shock. 

Fiifi wondered what had just happened. Elikem was acting rather strangely. Well, he was already strange, but this was a different level Fiifi had never witnessed before. 


After a while, Elikem found himself in a large study stylishly furnished with mahogany. At the center of the room sat Ntim. He was writing something in a large book with a long black quill. A bottle of black ink and a stack of books were laying on the large mahogany table.

Ntim raised his head when he felt the presence of someone else in the room. It was the tall boy with the great afro. And there were those familiar eyes, even more haunting than ever. Ntim could have sworn he had seen these same eyes before. Yet, he could not exactly remember where or when. 

"You're not supposed to be here." Ntim said. 

Elikem stopped right in front of the table. "My friend and I need to go to the thirteenth floor." He said without ceremony.

Ntim's eyes flinched for a moment. "How did you know about the thirteenth floor? You are not supposed to know about it."

"You don't know me. Yet twice have you told me what I'm not supposed to do. People have died for far less, you know." With each word he uttered, his tone grew colder with anger. Yet, he never raised his voice.

'This intimidation. Could it be? But I do not sense any aura. Clearly he has not yet awakened and yet I still feel his sharp killing intent.' Ntim thought.  

Ntim rose from his seat while his eyes preyed on the young boy like a hawk. Then he revealed his su, a green mist encircling him like a forest. He was a mortal sage. Did this foolish child think he could possibly stand against a mortal sage? Shadow Blade disciples need to be disciplined. Clearly, Martey was doing a poor job.

Elikem clenched his teeth while balling his fists with all his strength. The hostility from the aura was seeping into his body and trying to paralyse him, yet, Elikem stood tall, like it was nothing. At least, that was what Ntim thought. But Elikem was using every last ounce of his energy to keep himself from falling. 

'What is this? Why is a non-wielder unffacted by my su? What is Martey teaching those children?'

Ntim shut his eyes then willed his su to disappear. Suddenly the green mist was gone. Obviously this child was not ordinary. Moreover, Martey wouldn't be pleased to hear that the Chief Keeper of the gallery had harmed one of his disciples. 

"Who are you and why are you interested in the thirteenth floor? Only certain people have access to the thirteenth floor." 

Elikem knew answering this question was inevitable. No matter how much he tried to veer away from this identity, he still knew that it was ultimately a part of him even if he wanted nothing to do with it. For Fiifis' sake, he has no choice but to do something he has not done in five years. 

Without saying a word, he began to unbutton his robe. 

Ntim's eyes widened in frenzy. "Son, what are you doing?"

But Elikem ignored him and continued. Eventually, all the buttons were opened. Then he parted his robe to reveal his upper frontal body. Beneath those long-sleeved robe was an incredibly muscular body that was clearly achieved from years of physical training. 

But that was certainly not what had caught Ntim's eye. Something else far more mysterious and dangerous in the form of  black markings engraved the boy's entire body. The largest of this mark was what had immediately put the fear of god into him and the old man was left in a daze, unable to comprehend how someone like this boy was even in Shadow Blade. 

'This insignia. No wonder those eyes look familiar. This all makes sense now.' He thought. He could feel countless number of goosebumps growing all over his arms and his palms grew sweaty for no reason at all.

"Do we have access to the thirteenth floor now?" Elikem asked in absolute seriousness. 

"Yes. Yes, you do."

"You will tell no one about this. No one. When we leave this room, you'll never speak a word of this. Ever."

Ntim nodded vigorously. Even if this boy never asked, he, Ntim, would be a damn fool to blurt out to anyone what he had just witnessed. 

In the Six Allied Realms, practitioners of su magic, also known as wielders, are bound together by a common order known as the Order of Asafo.

After mumbling to herself Mia took out a pair of glasses and looked at Kretos one more time. She was now staring intently at Kretos. 
"His mana capacity is indeed fearful, but it's not enough to be him. Also, that guy has been dead for a long time, and he was from a different race." Even knowing how large Kretos's mana pool was, Mia went closer and inspected Kretos from up close. Getting a bit annoyed by what she was doing, Kretos spoke while releasing a bit of bloodlust. 
"What do you think you're doing?" 
Mia was not the least bit bothered by Kretos's bloodlust and continued to observe him from up close. Kretos was nearly unable to hold his irritation any longer and was about to strike when Mia stopped and looked at Kretos in the eye and asked. 
"Why do you think your name is Kretos?"   
"Because of a memory I have, in it, I was called Kretos." 
"Who was the one who called you by that name?" 
"It was one of the armored soldiers that called me Lord Kretos." Hearing Kretos's answer made Mia look a bit more excited. Afeus who was looking at the Professor from the side noticed that look of curiosity of hers. 
"Describe the armor of that person." 
"Is this relevant?"
"Of course, it is! Since you can't remember much, every single detail of what you can actually remember matters. So tell me what kind of armor were they wearing. Describe any detail you can remember, even the smallest things are important." 
"... I think they were wearing red plated armor from head to toe. The helmet they wore had different sizes of horns. In the middle of each of their armor was an insignia of sorts."
Hearing the part about an insignia Mia's eyes practically shone with excitement. She almost salivated but was able to hold herself back. 
"What did the insignia look like?" 
Kretos tried his hardest to remember what the insignia on the armor looked like. He felt his head hurting but not as much as the first time. 
"I think it was flames shaped into a sword with bat-like wings." Mia got even more excited when she heard what Kretos said and started pushing away the pile of books as she was looking for something. No longer surprised by her sudden burst of eccentricity, Kretos and Afeus waited for the Professor to find whatever it is she was trying to find. 
After mowing down the books and scanning some of them, Mia finally found what she was looking for. She then showed a page from one of the books at Kretos. It was a drawing of flames shaped into a sword with bat-like wings.
"Is this what you saw?!" 
"...Yeah, that's it!" Hearing Kretos's answer Mia licked her lips and started to once again mumble to herself. Before she went into her own little world, Afeus asked a question. 
"Professor, what is that insignia? Is that the insignia of whatever knight corps Kretos commands?" 
"Yes, it was an army Kretos commanded but not this Kretos." 
"What do you mean?" Kretos thought there was a lead regarding his past, but based on what Mia was saying there was more to it. 
"I mean you might be someone that changed his name to Kretos and remade his army to look like the legendary army of old. OR You could just be from a country that knows the truth, or something else entirely. Well, I need more information to derive a conclusion, but this is getting exciting."  
"Huh?" Mia wasn't bothered by Kretos and Afeus's confusion as she started to explain things. 
"You see long ago, in a time that has little to no true records left in this world. There was once a demon who ruled over all other demons with an iron fist. He was the greatest and strongest demon to have ever lived, and he was called Demon Lord Kretos. He was the one who had made all the races bow before his overwhelming might." 
When Kretos heard Mia say Demon Lord, he felt something, his heart was thumping loudly and his head was hurting a bit. Afeus, on the other hand, was still looking a bit confused. 
"Wait, aren't Demons those weak guys that keep on spouting love and peace for all races?" 
"Yes, those are the current demons, who have been mixed with different races. But long ago, when pureblooded demons still existed, they had powers beyond anything you could imagine. It was said that they had the magical capacity of faeries, the ferocity in battle of the warbeasts, and the cunning minds of the devil race, that's one of the legends passed down by a certain race. Though after investigating a bit, here and there I found out that the demon race wasn't a single uniformed race. They had different ethnicities which resulted in different clans that differ from the original demons, each one had different cultures, but all of them had the same origins which made them all demons. Each demon had their own unique traits, like the mythical Oni clan which boasts of physical strength that was comparable to the now extinct giants. There was also the clan of the Ancient blood, which had weak physical abilities but had magical powers that could rival Demi-Gods. There was also-" 
As she continued to explain Mia got overly excited. This was her life's work her whole research revolved around the ancient demon race. Yet the one that truly got her interest from the start was the legendary demon lord. So when she had the chance to share the fruits of her research she couldn't help herself. Seeing that she wasn't going to stop anytime soon, Afeus interjected. 
"Wait, how do you know all this? I haven't heard of any of this, and I have read most of the book in the library, well that's accessible to students, at least. But I do know that everything you're saying contradicts everything I have read about demons and their history."
"Now that's a good question, Mr. Krain. You see history is written by the winners, and in this instance, the other races were the winners and the demons were the losers. Though one may change history to what he likes after he wins, he cannot change the things that have been left behind. I've seen the discrepancies of the books written by humans, and I also had the good fortune of reading the accounts written by the High Elves. Now their version of history is different than what ours is. So after piecing things from here and there together, I found out where all the discrepancies came about. It was a time I have deemed to call the holy war."

She rubbed her palm against each other, sincerely asking his help. His slight annoyed expression was washed off upon a sight of her dewy eyes.   It was innocent yet lovely. He agreed, but under one condition. He must be attending with her. He wouldn't know when another person has infiltrated the palace, in order to keep her safe, he will stay at her side. Raeliana pressed her lips to form a little smile. "Thank you so much, sir duke!"

Raeliana wasn't even blinking when she set her foot on the royal library. Books were arranged in a very fashionable manner. Divided by sections, the royal library was the grandest library she had ever seen in her life. She couldn't stifle her joy upon the sight of thousands of book compiled in an elegant place. Noah watched her as she happily swung her arms. She was definitely amazed of her current view. From his perspective, he thinks that Raeliana was quite a book nerd. She must love reading and literary stuffs. 

"Sir duke! Can I go there?" She said while wagging her tail excitedly. Beaming a little stars on her eyes, exhaling a soft air on her nostrils. 

"Yes. But don't leave under my sight. Go to somewhere I can see you."  

She felt like she was asking her dad to let her play with her friends. She was definitely being treated as one of his subject. But it was no important to Raeliana, now that she has an access to the largest library in the empire. A place that holds the greatest extent of knowledge but was only accessible to the higher ranking nobles and members of the royal family. Her insides were melting just by looking at the fresh view that the library has offered. Tranquil and crowdless place great for introverts like her. She took steps towards the popular novels section and drew a book that was pushed back among the books. It was titled "Reminiscent Youth" written by a famous writer that was dated back a century ago. It said that the story mostly revolved between two young lovers came from different status. The woman was deemed as a witch because she came from another world, whilst the man was the empire's crown prince. She silently read and learned that the dialogue can be use for conveying a sweet message. She secretly slipped the book on the hidden pouch of her gown. She was walking stiffy until the duke noticed her. 

His eyes darted at her. He gestured his finger, "what did you do?" Pointing his fingers to her pouch that was supposed to be unseen. She nervously waved her hand instead, "Nothing duke! I came to pick a good book to read." Internally, she was dying and pleaded to let her off the hook by the duke. "I was trying to write here! Please let me be!"

I went to the road just like the guild master told me to. The reason I want to go to the library because before starting the game I want to have a complete knowledge about this games world. And because of  that, I have to study the books of this world as known as "The Beginners Guide".
It was stated in the games catalog that the beginners guide can be found in the libraries of each realm.

After entering the library I found an old man sleeping on the couch residing there. He suddenly woke up, must be because of my footsteps.
" Hello young man, How can I help you?" he asked me.
" Well, I was looking for the books about this world. Where can I find those?"
" You can go upstairs. You will find everything you need right there."
"Oh Thanks geezer"
" May I ask why do you seek the knowledge of this world?"
" Well I have become an adventurer just a while ago. So before sailing for any journey I want to know what I am up against perhaps."
" That's Strange. You are the first adventurer in this library who have ever come to seek knowledge. Its a very rare sight to see in this old age hahaha"
" Hahahaha, That's an honor I guess for me being the first ever "
" Well Good Luck and have a prosperous journey ahead."

The library was like a maze. I was lost for a while when I was finding the stairs for going to the 2nd floor. They could have used some signs -_-
After looking for a while I found some books about this world. I  picked on book titled ' The Chronicle Of Realmville '. The book seemed locked. While trying to open it, I saw a pop-up
                                           " PLACE YOUR HAND ON THE BOOK " 
I did as it stated.
                           " VERIFICATION CONFIRMED, PLAYER MODE ACTIVATED"

I guess the books are also varied by players and npcs. Because, for a player this books are beginners guide but for the NPC's these are historical books. Nice idea by the developers.

I checked the table of contents. It was divided by some various sections. First I checked the 'Player Guide". The was obviously the job classifications and the attacks list every classes and sub classes  could use. It was stated that every class except could use magics but how much they could use will depend on their class and aura. I do know about the classes and subclasses. There are 7 aura types in this game. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White, Purple. Each aura type has its own natural magical attribute the players can use. Which are respectively, Fire, Water, Earth, Thunder, Wind and Beast.
I know Im one aura and attribute short. Its Dark aura. There are no details about this aura and it seems like this aura doesn't have any attribute or anything. The game didn't planned anything for this yet I guess.
Oh yes! There are some more stuffs written here. The amount of magic a player can use could be find from their aura color. If a players aura color is light, then that player would be able to use less magic on the other hand, the player with the darker aura color would be able to use more magic.

Personally, I like the blue color most. So I want the blue aura and obviously the darker one. But I also like the fire attribute.  I can't actually set my mind on a aura or attribute lol.
Well, lets see what fate has for me. We will see it in the next weeks Job Selection Ceremony.

There was this creature level and list as well. There are 5 creature level. They are classified according to their strength and power. Those can be low, medium, high, legendary and god.
Except the God level creature, the rest of the level can be found in the forests or in the dungeons.
Dungeons are the place where various types of loots could be found which could be sell or use. The higher the dungeon level the higher the loot rate is. Every once in a while, The God Level creature will spawn in a temporary dungeon for a certain time. Not to mention, the loot rate is sky catching as well. The system will give some sort of signal when it spawns like a massive thunder strike and every player will get the notification and the location of the spawn. Players who will get to clear that dungeon will get reward from the system as well and that reward could be convert into real world currencies as well.

Well, thats something pretty amazing. Like the game is literally paying you to play the game clear a dungeon, which means the dungeon isn't obviously a child's play.
There are something more written here. If a player fails to clear the dungeon and dies in the process, he or she will have his account progress deleted and will have to start over the game again.
Wait, what? Are you kidding me? Are you literally kidding me??!!! The developers can't be serious are they? 
DAMNN!! Thats too much rough and harsh. Like the players efforts and time will be whoosh into nothingness. These dungeons must be something!

After looking through the beginners guide for a while I decided to leave the game for now.
I have now gathered the knowledge I needed before starting the game. Now from tomorrow I will start the game by a full on strategy. 
WHOA! I sound too much serious about this game ! Thats not obvious. Its the first time I have ever been so excited about a game. Not a visible enthusiasm but a hidden one, an excitement burning with a cold flame. I longed for something different to happen, something so exciting and new that it will carry me along with it like a great tide, something that lets your life blaze and burn so the whole world can see it.

After logging out from the game, I felt dizziness. I guess It was because of diving into the VR for long for the first time. I checked the clock, it was 4 am. I should get a good sleep now. I opened my phone and was checking the 'Heir Of Legend Online Forum' and fell asleep the moment I laid my body on the bed.

My woke up hearing the door bell all of a sudden. I checked the time on my phone, it was 10.17 am. Darn It! I didn't get the amount of sleep I wanted to because of that bell. Who the hell came at this moment?!
I got down from the bed and opened the door.
" Heyyy !!! How are you bro? Long time no see "
It was that Yohan from the next door. The level 19 noob .
" What do you need this early in the morning?" I asked grumpily
" Early in the morning? What are you saying bro? Its already 10.30 ! Are sick or what?"
"Dude I dont get up from my sleep before 2 Pm on my holidays, you basically ruined my whole day !! "
" Ohh nevermind that bro ! Let's play Heir of Legend together ! I got my job yesterday. I really wanna play more with now having the job !!!"
" Go to hell with your job ! Now let me sleep ! "
" Bro, Don't be like that, Please play with me ! I dont have anyone to play with in the game "
" Why do you need to play with a noob like me? Im not even level 5 yet ! You might have plenty of good peeps on you list right now  "
" That doesnt matter, I though since I will be leaving beside you for I dont know how long, we are pretty much like family as we both live alone ! So we should bond more ! "

That hit me hard though. Anyway,
" Well, why the hell are you standing right there? Come inside " I asked him
I made some tea for both of us.
" Whats your level right now?" I asked him
" I'm level 27 right now."
" Wow! That's pretty quick progress ! You must be pro !!"
" Lmao no, dont embarrass me saying that."
" So what job did you get?"
" Its not that big deal or something, I got Berserker "
" Are you legit serious? Its not a big deal? You nuts or what? Its one of the advanced subclass and a fighter class. That's a insane job you got dude !!"
" You think so?"
" I think so? I would pay anything for it lol "
" Hahahaha Then it must be something lmao !!"
" By the way, whats your magical attribute?"
" Mine is Beast magic. I dont know why I got it thought lol "
" Is the aura light or dark?"
" Its Dark"
" Dude !! Your sooo lucky !! You must be destined to be a god level player in this game :0 "

Ever since my parents got separated, I have always chosen to be alone. Never took any initiatives on making new bonds.Getting to know new people and gaining new friends is one of life's greatest pleasures. I have never seek that pleasure. The great thing about new friends is that they bring new energy to your soul and I dont know why I can feel that energy around Yohan. I had the same feeling when I met Diane. They say " Each friend represents a world to us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born" and I can see a new world coming towards me with this halfwit.

A boy who was alone since his childhood,who suffered because of his parents separation,who has fame in almost every mmorpg games comes across a new game called 'Heir Of Legend'. The moment he decides to play it, the world resolving around him changes

Lydia explained she found the stock of comic books in the ruins of a desk with one drawer miraculously intact. Something hit Joshua, he wondered how the paper that was several thousands year old had withstood the test of time like that. It wasn't just those comic books, the cooking book he had used before was also in similarly good condition. He had Luna analyze the paper, its composition was very different that sheet of paper used on Earth, making it much more sturdy and able to be preserved for millennia. 

In any case, he examined the comics. Looking through the covers revealed they were all part of the same series which Luna translated as 'The Globulous Adventures of Nathalie Tangai, Private Incinerator'. Just looking at the title, he was able to fix two words for Luna's dialect. After they ate dinner, he didn't waste time and started to read the series. 

Nathalie Tangai was a young private investigator living alone with her magical cat Salami who had the ability to turn into a tiger when faced with danger. One day, she received a letter informing her that her uncle Maximilian had passed away and left her a manor. Obviously, the place was haunted so she had to perform an exorcism with the help of an alcoholic priest. 


Once the place was safe, she discovered the manor was once the headquarters of an evil cult wearing penguins masks. That's when the main antagonist made his entry, a man going by the name of 'Baron Viktor', a master of disguises whose goal was to access some ancient documents leading to a mythical treasure hidden in the manor. Nathalie had the brilliant idea to memorize all the documents thanks to her genius intellect and burned them all once she was done.


The series then turned into a bizarre murder mysteries series as Nathalie traveled around the world to look for the treasure while Viktor kept chasing her in a new disguise every adventure while always committing murder for some dumb reason. For example, one case had Viktor disguised as a snake charmer and he murdered a sailor with a tankard, to have the local innkeeper accused of the murder. However, Nathalie proved he had used the tamed snake to smash the sailor with the tankard in question. 

Halfway through the series, a major twist happened in the story: Viktor was revealed to be her long lost twin brother who was kidnapped as an infant by the cult. When he realized it, he saved her life by protecting her from the evil Penguin Lord Nico who was the true main villain and died in the process. 

Heartbroken, Nathalie took possession of the treasure, which turned out to be a time machine. She used it to go back in time and prevent her brother's kidnapping. This created an alternate reality that soft rebooted the series as Nathalie & Viktor started a detective agency together in that timeline. 

The rebooted series involved them traveling around the world and solving ridiculous cases against all odds. If you thought the snake charmer story was ridiculous, it was nothing to what transpired in the second half of the series. The finale of the series took them on a rocket ship patrolling around the moon to face the penguin cult and their master, Lord Nico. Nathalie defeated him by feeding him bagels for some reason. The story ended with the siblings going back on their planet but along the way got absorbed by a vortex leading them to another dimension and therefore, new adventures. 

Joshua didn't know this, but it should come to a surprise to no one those new adventures never came, the series which had been losing steam since the 'reboot' actually got canceled. 

As you might have guessed from this little summary of the 'plot', this series was probably written by either someone on drugs, someone badly advised by their editor or someone even crazier than Joshua. It must, therefore, not be a surprise to you that Joshua loved every freaking moment of this utter nonsensical plot and even cried several times. 
In any case, reading the series took a good part of the night, he could have sped up with Luna's help but he was having so much fun with this dumb series he just relaxed and enjoyed the ride. He didn't neglect his main objective, mind you. His knowledge of Easan was making great progress. 

In the meantime, Catherine had a similar idea to help improve Luna's knowledge of the language. She entered the recreational room, picked a random board game box and looked for the manual. The game was a bizarre variation of chess and there were illustrations on how the several pieces were allowed to move. She managed to establish a basic set of rules with Luna's help and played a round against Lydia. Some parts didn't seem right so she made a few adjustments. They repeated the process until they got a game that mostly made sense before moving on to another game. That one turned out to be some variation on Monopoly so apart from Joshua, who was busy reading the comics,  everyone joined in for the game. While some rules had to be improvised, they did have fun. Considering the nature of the mission, this moment of relaxation was pretty beneficial to the party's morale. There were a few other games but by the time they were done with their current round, it was close to midnight so the group decided to call it for the night. 

The next few days passed by quickly, Catherine and Joshua spent their time improving their vocabulary slowly increasing the difficulty of the material. After running out of board games and recipes, they moved on to individual documents. Most of them were still too complicated, but they picked up a word here and there. One day, The twins stumbled upon a couple of novels of various genres which was a blessing for them. Catherine wasn't very interested in those fictional stories so she let Joshua handle them while she continued to read documents. 

The first book was a horror novel involving a horrible monster killing people in terrible ways. While Joshua found it lackluster, mainly cause the protagonists were all morons who kept splitting up, he had to admit it was pretty useful to learn how to translate various causes of death. Have you ever wondered how one said: 'Thrown into a giant spaghetti machine, torn apart and served to unsuspecting restaurant clients' in Easan? Well, neither had Joshua but now he knew how to say it. Ultimately, the monster was revealed to be vulnerable to soap and was tricked to enter a washing machine where he got locked in and dissolved. He wondered if this was some kind of hidden marketing ploy to boost the sales of washing machines. Anyway, he didn't linger on it too much and moved on. 

The next one he picked up turned out to be an erotica novel. Obviously, it was terribly written. Regardless, he read it, after all, considering half the text consisted of 2 people alternating yelling 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAH' it was fairly easy to follow. Actually, this one was more instructive than the horror novel, as it greatly helped him identify the word referring to certain body parts. His method of figuring them out was quite pragmatic, considering what happened to each part, he just had to figure out what was possible and what wasn't. Joshua, who had been so moved reading that dumb comic, finished the novel in one go, his expression remaining stoic all the time. He was glad when he finished it, in a sense that novel was so bad it was more disturbing than the horror one. 

In any case, he finished story after story. Despite the bad luck he had with the first two, some of the books were actually pretty good. His favorite book was the story of a young baker going on a quest to create the greatest bread recipe ever. By the time he was done with all of them, his level in Easan was pretty good and it was time to resume his research. 

He checked Luna's database and brought for the book about runes he had tried to read before and was glad to see the system was able to translate most of it this time. Therefore, he headed back to the library. He could try to make the rune that had exploded in his face again, but he preferred to check for safer models first, that one was still only half translated. He found a couple of purely theoretical books and while they were hard to understand, he still learned from them. Even with Luna's help, it took him two days to read all the books present but when he was done, he felt like he was ready to accomplish wonders. 

Well either that or he would accidentally cause a massive amount of destruction.

After dying, our main character found himself summoned by a young woman. She comes from a long line of summoners and had expected to partner up with a powerful being, like the rest of her family. Instead, she summoned a computer programmer, who from now on will be living inside her head. Powerless, he's unable to help her with the upcoming war. Disappointed that neither of them had been blessed by fate with some divine abilities, he decides to build a computer system inside her head himself.

Lu Shu carried his box out as he went off to sell his stinky tofu, leaving Lu Xiaoyu behind to do the dishes. Lu Xiaoyu was humming as she washed the dishes, periodically looking over to the bag of potato chips on top of the counter.
After she's done with the dishes, she could have the bag of potato chips all to herself while she was watching her dramas. Thinking of such a scene had left her filled with the happiness of having such freedom!
Upon leaving the house, Li Xianyi was yet again practicing his swordplay out in the neighboring courtyard. This time, Lu Shu did not just walk off but instead, stopped to watch.
"Hey gramps, this swordplay of yours seems to be quite awe-inspiring," as Lu Shu greeted him.
Li Xianyi was shocked. Did this kid have such a high aptitude that he could spot that his swordplay was of mysterious origins?
In actual fact, when Lu Shu was engulfed in the celestial light last night, he was still worried whether Li Xianyi would be able to sense it from him. However, from this, it seemed like he could not tell at all.
This thing was just like a natural, original part of life and it wasn't any different from the usual life force and strength of a person.
Li Xianyi paused and asked, "Do you wish to learn it?"
Even though his physical condition had been great lately, he still had this sense of urgency.
His foundation had already eroded and that was a fact which cannot be ignored. But instead of choosing to run away from it, Li Xianyi had decided to face the reality.
Since things had already developed till this stage, he had to make plans for the future.
Lu Shu gave him an awkward look and replied, "I do wish to learn from you but it seems like our timings do not match and it'll be difficult."
Li Xianyi smiled and said, "Tell me your problems, I can help you solve them."
In his mind, Lu Shu's greatest trouble would be his financial situation. Even as an orphan who had to grow up whilst supporting his younger sister, he had never given up once no matter how tiring, miserable and embarrassing he felt.
Li Xianyi did mention to the auntie that the reason he wanted to take Lu Shu in as a disciple was due to his aptitude for ability. However, that was just a part of the reason. What he appreciated the most was Lu Shu's personality.
As long as Lu Shu would agree to his offer, he could then provide for them and therefore, solve all of their difficulties.
Was money even an issue for him? With a wave of his hands, it could be easily achieved.
Lu Shu's eyes sparkled, "Really? Can you really solve my problems?"
Li Xianyi grinned, "Yes!"
"I'm not quite sure about your academic aspects, Gramps. How is it?"
"There's nothing I do not know," as Li Xianyi proudly claimed.
"That's great!" as Lu Shu eyes gleamed, "So my issue is that I have to spend a lot of time supervising Lu Xiaoyu's revision and I'm unable to leave her side the entire night. If you could supervise her studies in the morning, that would be great!"
Supervise Lu Xiaoyu's studies?!
So that was your hardship?! It wasn't that you were financially inadequate? Compared to what he was thinking of… It wasn't exactly the same… 
Having a Class B expert to babysit a child?
Li Xianyi, "? ? ?"
"From Li Xianyi's distress, +291!"
Were the Class Bs powerful? Of course they were!
Currently, no one in this whole world had ever heard of someone reaching A class who could link the heavens and earth! But now, a Class B expert like Li Xianyi had to babysit a child!
Lu Shu had already thought about this question a long time ago and even though Lu Xiaoyu had powers now, she couldn't possibly do without education. The education Lu Shu was referring to wasn't the diplomas or degrees but rather, a basic knowledge of oneself as he did not wish for her to be lacking compared to the other children.
As of now, Lu Xiaoyu's household register was with the orphanage and he did not have enough money to get her out, even so, a certification was needed in order to get her out.
The best result right now was to have someone to help him look over Lu Xiaoyu in the daytime or else she would be slacking around at home alone, secretly watching her dramas!
Just as Lu Xiaoyu had finished doing the dishes, she was about to eat her potato chips and watch her drama. However, Lu Shu shouted from just outside the house, "Lu Xiaoyu, Lu Xiaoyu, come out, come out."
She placed her chips down and ran out, only to see Lu Shu and Li Xianyi standing outside.
Lu Shu joyfully said to Lu Xiaoyu, "When I'm not at home, all you do is to watch your drama series. Starting from now, you will go to Gramp's house in the day and he will supervise your revision."
Lu Xiaoyu, who was already prepared to watch her series, looked as though she had suddenly received a shock, "? ? ?"
"From Lu Xiaoyu's distress, +666!"
Li Xianyi stood by the side looking at Lu Shu as he planned out everything within a moment. This child… He had not even agreed to anything yet.
Lu Shu turned around and said to Li Xianyi, "Sorry to trouble you Gramps. Please guide her along with her homework in the day and I'll be able to focus on learning the swordplay techniques from you in the night!"
Haha. Li Xianyi felt uneasy at that moment.
You don't have to learn anything anymore, your plans have already succeeded.
Li Xianyi strongly felt that he had just played into Lu Shu's hands.
It wasn't that Lu Shu was smarter than him nor was he smarter than all the opponents he had faced before.
However, even with his previous opponents, everyone played within the rules. But as for Lu Shu, you wouldn't know what goes on in his head!
"Lu Xiaoyu, if you are being disobedient, I won't cook tomato eggs for you for half a year!" as Lu Shu threatened.
At that moment, Lu Xiaoyu's face sank down towards the ground.
Lu Shu had nothing to worry about since both auntie and gramps were long-time neighbors with them and although they had yet to interact much with gramps, auntie did seem like a good person.
Li Xianyi saw that Lu Xiaoyu could not help but laugh upon seeing his facial expression. Damn it, did this little girl really thought that this was his own idea?
Lu Shu went off to sell his stinky tofus, leaving both of them behind as they stood across each other with the fence in between them. Auntie came out of the house with the intentions to sun-dry her clothes and as she witnessed the situation, she joyfully said, "Xiaoyu, come here, auntie has made some sweet potato for you."
Lu Xiaoyu, looking like a good-for-nothing, replied, "Is it red or white inside?"
Those that were white inside were much more watery and did not contain as much starch content as the red one. As such, it wasn't as sweet and its texture wasn't as good as those that were red inside even though it had a higher cellulose content.
But she did not care so much about these and all she knew was whether or not it was tasty. Lu Xiaoyu finally decided that the existence of sweet potatoes which were white inside defies humanity. Could food which was not delicious even be considered as food?!
"Red," as Auntie smiled. She had always been rather fond of Lu Xiaoyu.
When it was time for him to actually help out Lu Xiaoyu with her homework in the afternoon, Li Xianyi finally knew much effort was needed to help look after a child. In this little girl's mind, nothing really seemed to be normal at all!
Li Xianyi had even seriously reconsidered whether his choice to teach Lu Shu swordsmanship was a right one… 
There was a table standing in the middle of the courtyard and it was entirely filled with Lu Xiaoyu's textbooks and all of them were hand-me-downs from Lu Shu. On the cover page of these books, someone had neatly written the two words 'Lu Shu' and the books were already filled with notes inside.
Zhi Wei had mentioned to auntie before that Lu Shu's results were rather outstanding ever since he was younger.
Currently, it seemed like this teenager had indeed put in substantial amount of effort and soul into it and one could from these notes.
They were written neatly in straight lines, perhaps even too straight, as his sense of stubbornness showed itself.
Li Xianyi had unintentionally opened up a mathematics textbook and saw that on the bottom of the cover page, an odd sentence was written there, "In order to kill someone, one only needs a technique with the knife, but in the endless pursuit of knowledge, one has to start from the bottom of his heart, then will he achieve glory."
This sentence definitely wasn't something Lu Shu had come up with but was this the kind of mentality a teenager in the middle school age should have?
At that point in time, was he deeply troubled by his livelihood?
Li Xianyi nonchalantly flipped through the book due to boredom and wanted to figure the teenager's inner thoughts through the notes he had written down in there. Upon flipping to the end, he had surprisingly found three tiny words written down at the bottom of the last page.
'Carry on living.'
In that split second, it was as if that stubborn look on the teenager's face was right in front of him.


Magical energy has come to this world; Lu Shu could only stare as one powerhouse after another appear.

Looking at his own peculiar ability, he exhaled a breath of cold air.

The reason that magic on this level is forbidden is because of how notoriously difficult they are to master. And, with one simple mistake, you could lose your life."

"Understood, grandpa!" Sherria saluted after getting handed her scroll. "This is so exciting!" 

"Sherria, you should focus and take this more serious. Master wasn't lying, you can die if you mess around too much." Jellal did a courteous bow to the maid that handed him the scroll.

"And, you should learn to loosen up a little. We're on Paradise Island with Portgas D Amell. Do you know how many people have gotten this opportunity before? ZERO! We are the first ones. Enjoy it more!"

"I am enjoying it. But, I would also like to leave this place with all my limbs still attached to my body. You do you, I will take the careful route."

"Sherria, I know you stood at the top of your academy. This is far from that. What you have done so far hasn't been any impressive magic." Amell said harshly. "I do not doubt that you can master this new magic, all I ask is that you will be careful." As a teacher, he had always been harsh and strict no matter the age of his students. Even if he was related to them, he was rarely lenient with their training. This showed when he trained Robin as a child.

"Okay, I'll take it more serious!" She strained herself to smile, but she was feeling sour on the inside. Her mindset of laughter and fun wasn't anything bad. But, Amell wanted to work that away when they trained.

"That is all I am asking of you. You can start now. Read through the manual, learn it and memorise it. This will be the toughest thing you've ever done."

"I and Touka have something to take care of, so I won't be here. Our training will start tomorrow at dawn. By then I expect that you all have memorised your manual." Amell smiled at them before walking away. The maids and Touka followed him and the kids were left alone.

"Should we open them together?" Millianna asked quietly.

"I second that! Let's do that, we are in this together after all!" Sherria grabbed a hold of her scroll with a steady grip. "Now!" She said and opened her scroll. The rest followed her lead but with much less enthusiasm. When the scrolls were opened, they started glowing in a faint light, but it disappeared pretty quickly.

"Woah, what was that? Did you feel any change?" Millianna asked. She looked at both sides of her scroll but nothing had changed. She looked over at Jellal's and she was shocked at what she saw. "Jellal, your text disappeared!"

"What!?" Sherria lept over to them. Orga and Briar also walked over.

"No, it's right there. Can't you see it?" Jellal held up the scroll for all of them to see.

"Catgirl is correct. We can not see the content of your scroll." Orga said and showed his own to the group. "How about mine?"

"Can't see it!" Sherria looked closely. She even held onto it, but Orga was the only one that could see what was written on it.

"I think this is Master Amell's doing. Must be a precaution so this magic won't fall into the wrong hands. He did say this is extremely powerful magic."

"I think you're right, Jellal!" Sherria held up her scroll and started reading it aloud. But, all that came out of her mouth sounded like jibberish to the rest of them.

"Sherria, why are you talking like that?" Briar asked.

"So, it's as I suspected." Sherria stopped reading and closed her scroll. "In my magic studies class at the academy, we once read about some of the world's most powerful magic. "Jellal is right! Let's do our best so we can make grandpa proud!" Sherria yelled while fist-bumping the air. She wanted the rest to follow her with a warcry, but everyone had already found a spot and started reading their scroll. 

"Y-Yeah, whatever!"  She sat down in embarrassment and opened her scroll with her cheeks growing red.
