Dear Readers,
Greetings to my beloved readers, I just want to thank you for giving this book a chance to be heard. It has been a few months since Covid19 wreaked havoc around the world, tucking us into our homes for safety and security. I am delighted to be able to write and present such odd Ancient-Chinese themed novel to all of you. I know somehow most people around my age and younger are bored at home, so might as well motivate everyone to read and enhance their reading comprehension/ critical thinking skills. As an amateur Filipino teen writer I am not expecting so much from this book, but I can't help it, I want to be able to share a story to the mass and escape the world of reality for a while. Your reviews, comments and support are very much appreciated so don't forget to leave a note. I as a college student also want to improve my writing skills, so I'll thank everyone in advance. And I just want to remind everyone to avoid plagiarism, let's respect people's property and just enjoy reading, get lost in the world of imagination and have fun.

From what I've been seeing, there are multiple books on this site with manipulated reviews. Bad reviews have been deleted and thus the books themselves appear better. Although I can understand that a review made based on ~10 chapters of a book with over 1,000 chapters may not be accurate, it is still an opinion. 

People keep on saying that authors are deleting reviews, but as far as I can tell, I do not have that ability (it might also just be because I'm not partnered). Maybe those reviews are being reported as inaccurate by fans (yeah probably not). 

The only thing that deleting reviews does is angering the reviewers. On a site like Webnovel, where everyone can review a book an almost infinite number of times, it's just a matter of time before such a book is flooded with bad reviews. 

Advice for Webnovel, don't reward reviews with xp and limit the amount of reviews per book. A review is something that should be taken seriously and I find it highly unlikely that anyone would be willing to read a new book every single day (at least for an extended period of time).

Both Chiba and Yuriko were on the edge after they updated the novel.
After all, they had boasted about the ending of the third volume and the beginning of the fourth volume, saying that it would be a grand climax. The book might lose its good reputation if the readers disliked the plot.
Despite that risk, both of them were extremely satisfied with the plot. It was completely logical and reasonable, seen from either the perspective of a light novelist or a reader. Besides, it was the best climax that Chiba could think of.
However, it was futile if they could not gain affirmation from the readers.
Chiba was anxious about the addition of the setting of Ajin in the novel. Even if it was necessary to include this since it was related to the storyline. In addition, adding this new element would give her enough to work with to increase the length of the novel significantly. 
She reckoned that the novel would reach its end after the fourth volume if she wrote that Manatsu Hokuto had solved the case after loading the files. In that case, the whole novel would only be about 40,000 words in length.
She had written short novels before, so she wanted to try writing a longer one.
Therefore, Chiba wanted to know if she could successfully write a long novel. She would end it decisively if she felt emotionally and physically exhausted by the word length. However, she certainly wanted to keep writing the book now, and she was quite passionate about it.
The quality of the novel was related to Yuriko's obsessiveness too.
So, Chiba sat in front of the computer after having updated 20,000 words. She kept refreshing the comments section to view the latest comments.
However, she didn't see any new remarks after refreshing her updated version of the novel a few times... She felt slightly worried about this.
On the other hand, Yuriko was calm. She's dead after all, what else can make her emotions fluctuate as a specter? She consoled Chiba while she was thinking, "Don't worry, Shiori, you updated 20,000 words. It takes time for the readers to finish reading that length. Besides, 'Loading File Of Tokyo' can't be read very quickly or easily - the readers probably need more than 10 minutes to finish reading."
Up until now, Yuriko was extremely confident in the quality of the book. Although she was an acclaimed critic in light-novelling, being good at identifying errors, she never had a book with such excellent performance.
She was worried about the book because she had contributed some of her thoughts to the novel. Even if most of the ideas came from Chiba. She knew that all they could do now was wait for the comments from readers - whether good or bad.
Upon further reflection, Chiba realized she was worrying too much for no real reason. The previous statistics had that "Loading File Of Tokyo" had been hugely successful thus far, and she had effectively pummeled her brain into coming up with the climax. If both Yuriko and she were satisfied with the story, the readers would be satisfied too.
Chiba slowly calmed down, thinking that.
"Let's sleep," Chiba said as she shut down the computer. What the eye doesn't see, the heart doesn't grieve over. The readers will undoubtedly give me a dressing down on the site if they dislike the story. It will be better for me not to read it, then, so that it will not spoil my mood. On the other hand, if the comments were all compliments, there would be no difference, even if she read it tomorrow. Moreover, tomorrow was the day when Kazuki would come over to show her the Vision Spell, and she wanted to read the comments together with him.
Kimura came to the Akihide High School at Seigyoku District the next day.
He came in with a joyful expression on his face. After sitting down at a milk tea shop together with Chiba, he said with a grin, "Congratulations to you, the new chapter that you updated yesterday is great." Kimura paid constant attention to the light novel, "Loading File Of Tokyo." He knew that many people were raving about it.

She went through those reviews with a faint smile on her face. You don't even know where I stay, you can only say all this verbally. 
However, she knew that apparently, she had written the correct storyline as everybody was singing her praises. 
"It's a peak moment for 'Loading File Of Tokyo.' I think we can start looking for a publisher now." Kimura looked at her and said, "What do you think?"
The novel was written by Chiba and Yuriko, after all. He could not make decisions for them. All he could do was just give them some suggestions, or lend a helping hand if they needed it.
"I will look for some publishers in the industry over the next few days."
"What do you think about Seikisha?" asked Kimura after a brief silence. He continued, "I know Mr. Muraoka from the Seikisha. He's the manager for Seikisha. You should have heard about 'The Sword Saga' before, he's in charge of the project."
Although Seikisha was a new company, it was still a major publishing house that had various manga magazines and animation companies under its name.
If "Loading File of Tokyo" was handed over to Seikisha, it could be published or even adapted to the manga and animated format. The most important thing was to observe how the new animation, "The Sword Saga," performed under Seikisha first. He could reject Seikisha directly if the animation was crudely made. On the other hand, if "The Sword Saga" was successful, he could hand over the 'Loading File of Tokyo' to the company.
Muraoka Hiroshi called him in the afternoon, asking Kimura to introduce him to Miss Gentera. When Kimura frowned and asked him where he got the news, Muraoka Hiroshi had no choice but to tell him honestly that he heard it from Ono Nakamura.

The beautiful lady sat at her desk with an expression of deep thought, carefully going through the stack of papers in her hands. She was scrutinising every single word that was written, almost as though she was trying to find some rare bit of information hidden within.
This beautiful lady is none other than Crystal Goldlock, the same person whom Cyrus conveniently refers to as the demoness.
A good distance away from her, two maids stood attentively by the door, ready to tend to her every need.
At this moment, the door suddenly swung open, and a man casually walked in.
He exuded a natural air of noble disposition, and possessed a head of long silver hair. The silver hair was not a sign of old age, but the natural hair colour that every individual in the clan would be born with. Every step he took was firm, and his posture was straight. His thick fur robe only served as a boost to his majestic figure.
The instant he entered, the two maids in the room gave a curtsy in deference. 
"Clan Head." the two of them greeted in unison.
Alexander Skyhelm, Head of the Skyhelm Clan.
"The two of you may rest for the day," Alexander returned their greeting with an amiable smile. 
"Yes, Clan Head."
Even though they were supposed to be serving Crystal, with the authority that this man possessed, there was no need for them to doubt his instructions. The two of them curtsied to Crystal before quickly taking their leave.
"What are you looking at, my dear?" Alexander walked over to stand behind Crystal, voluntarily giving her a gentle back massage.
"These are the book reviews that Cyrus has done over the past week," Crystal spread out the stack of papers on the table. "Take a look."
"Hmm? That kid actually managed to do this much in just one week?" Alexander exclaimed in surprise.
He knew for a fact that Cyrus had been imprisoned in the main Clan Library, which contained only books related to magic.
Each one of these books was complex and informative, and it would usually take quite some time for someone to digest the information within.
Despite that, the pieces of paper that lay spread out on the table numbered in the dozens. 
With each piece of paper representing a separate book review, this would mean that Cyrus had been doing more than ten book reviews a day!
"Not just that, take a look at the content of each book review," Crystal prompted her husband.
But even before she said so, Alexander had already started going through them out of curiosity.
With his capabilities, it did not take long before he was done perusing the dozens of book reviews. After which, he could not help but to feel astonished!
Each of these book reviews was comprehensively done.
They were not mere summaries of the contents of the books, but provided insights on other possible angles that could be explored and the underlying meanings of the written content.
In other words, they were done in a manner that was nothing short of spectacular!
If grades had to be given to these book reviews, then they would deserve nothing less than A+!
However, Alexander was not pleased at all when he was done reading through the book reviews. Instead, a deep frown appeared on his face.
"Didn't you pass down instructions forbidding anyone from going near the Clan Library?" he asked in a solemn manner.
"I did," Crystal nodded.
"If so, then how did this happen? Who actually dared to go against my wife's instructions, sneaking in to help him with his work?" Alexander rubbed his chin in contemplation.
"I am not sure either, but this is not going to be good enough." Crystal turned around to face her husband with a resolute look in her eyes. "Since he is your son, there would always be people trying to help him in the shadows, even if it would do him more harm in the long run. There is no help it, we need to resort to extreme measures."
"Hmm? What do you mean?" Alexander was slightly taken aback by those sudden words.
Extreme measures?
What exactly did his wife mean by saying that?

In the Clan Library, Cyrus was holding an open book in his left hand, and a brush in his right.
His gaze was fixed on the pages of the book, quickly darting from top to bottom, left to right. From time to time, the brush in his right hand would move, taking down notes on a piece of paper.
This was the exact same thing that he had been doing for the most part of the past week.
It was an extremely tiring process, and he had almost given up when he first started.
Thankfully, the demoness was not entirely heartless, and he would be rewarded with a meal for each book review that he completed.
This was the perfect source motivation he needed in order to push on!
Now that a week had passed, Cyrus had gotten into the rhythm, and no longer felt daunted by the difficulty of reading. In fact, he was even starting to feel intrigued by the contents that he had been exposed to, finding them more and more interesting by the day.
Even when the door of the library opened, Cyrus did not bother looking up to see who it was.
Such was the extent of focus that he possessed at the moment!
However, this newcomer was not too fond of being ignored. Seeing that the kid in front of him did not even take a single glance at him, he could not help but feel slightly irritated.
"Ahem!" he cleared his throat loudly.
"Eh?" Cyrus looked up in surprise. "Uncle Grey? Why are you here?" 
"Brat, time to stop acting like you are actually doing something!" Grey laughed. "Your mother has instructed me to bring you to her."
"The demoness has decided to free me?" Cyrus' eyes lit up immediately.
Even though he had finally made up his mind to pursue the path of magic, it did not mean Cyrus enjoyed being trapped in the library all day long.
For one, the hard library floor could never compare to the comfort of his bed!
"Stop calling your own mother a demoness…" Grey found the corner of his mouth twitching wildly.
"Okay, okay, I got it!" Cyrus stood up excitedly and followed his Uncle Grey away.
Grey was not just a member of the Skyhelm Clan, but also one of the trusted aides of his father. He was well built and looked just like a typical warrior with his short silver hair and stubble.
But most importantly, he had watched Cyrus grow up since young, and always had a soft spot for him.
The relationship between the two of them had always been extremely good, and it was not just a few times that Grey had helped him out in secret when his mother was punishing him.
With Grey going along with him, even though he was about to meet with the demoness, Cyrus could not help but feel much more assured!
Little did he know that this time round, even his Uncle Grey would be powerless to help him.
It was a short walk before Grey led Cyrus into the room where Crystal awaited with a maid by her side.
The design of the room was simple enough.
Other than an exquisite hexagon platform that stretched two metres from end to end, there was nothing else in the room. There were no windows, and the only thing providing any sort of illumination was a small crystal that was shining brightly from the ceiling.
"My Lady," Grey nodded respectfully as he entered the chamber.
This was the etiquette expected of all clan members when they were in the presence of the spouse of the Clan Head.
On the other hand, Cyrus stubbornly remained silent.
"Thank you for your help, Grey." Crystal nodded to Grey in response, apparently already used to being ignored by Cyrus.
However, the next words that came out of Crystal's mouth certainly drew Cyrus' attention.
"You may leave now."
"What? Why are you asking Uncle Grey to leave?" Cyrus hurriedly held onto Grey's long sleeves. "He is not an outsider! He can listen to whatever you have to say as well!"
What a joke!
If his Uncle Grey left the room, who would be left to protect him?
"This..." held back by Cyrus, Grey could not help but shoot a hesitant look towards Crystal.
Even though he wished to accede to Cyrus' request, the one with the highest authority here was still Crystal. 
As long as Crystal insisted, Grey would have no choice but to obey her instructions. 
Seeing the desperate look in Cyrus' eyes, Crystal let out a faint smile. "Stay then, it doesn't make any difference. This will not take long anyway."
Crystal then turned to look towards the maid standing beside her.
The maid immediately understood her intentions and stepped forward, greeting Cyrus with a graceful curtsy. "Greetings, young master Cyrus. I, Xena, will be the one responsible for accompanying you on your upcoming trip."
"Trip? What trip?" Cyrus frowned before turning to his mother. "Where are we going?"
"Not we," Crystal corrected him immediately. "It will be just you and Xena, and you will be going to the Grand Apostle Realm."
"Grand Apostle Realm?!" Grey exclaimed in shock.
"Where is this Grand Apostle Realm?" Cyrus asked in confusion. He had never even heard of this place prior to today. 
"This..." Grey hesitated a little while finding the right words to reply with. "Let's just say that it is a completely different world..."
"What?!" Cyrus widened his eyes in shock.
A completely different world?
Has this demoness finally gone crazy and decided to exile him from the clan?

When Cyrus was born into one of the strongest magic clans, it was accompanied with supernatural phenomena of the highest levels.

The Skyhelm clan celebrated for days on end, believing that they had just ushered in the birth of a precious clan member who would lead their clan to unprecedented heights in the future.

But despite the incredible latent potential within him, Cyrus grew up to be a disappointment who had no interest in pursuing the path of magic.

After all, learning magic was extremely time consuming. 

Why would he ever want to spend all that time on reading books, especially when he hardly even have enough time to finish eating all the different delicacies waiting for him out there in the various corners of this world?

However, after Cyrus ended up being imprisoned in the clan library, he started to realise the one truth of the world of magic...

Advancing in the magical path would greatly increase his lifespan, which meant that he would have that much more time to spend on looking for delicacies. At that point, he would not only be able to enjoy the delicacies of his era, but even those in the eras to come!

To answer some of the questions:

1. Right now, please treat this book as a book that doesn't connect to my other existing book's. A new separate book.

2. This story is going to be different. 

3. The male lead is going to be different. This male lead is not going to be sweet. He's going to fall on the evil side and the story will fall on a more darker side if you haven't picked it up in the synopsis. 

Yes, there will be character development but in good time. Do not tell the author how to write and when to write. Things will happen when it needs to.

4. I would request readers not to bring up other characters from the other book. 

5. Please leave reviews that are related to the book and about the book so that readers know what the book is about, not what my other books are about. Reviews are helpful for readers when they want to know what the story is about.

"Your bed is cold," spoke a voice in the room that had her eyes go wide in fear. Nervously, she turned around, gulping softly to see a shadow on her bed as if someone laid down there and the man who had been lying down sat up emerging out from the shadows where he had been waiting for her.

"What are you doing here?" she asked when his feet touched the ground and he pushed himself up to start walking towards her. His handsome features looked more darker than usual because of the lack of light in the room.

"I came to meet you," he tilted his head, "Where did you go?"

"I went out for a walk," came the quick reply that had him smile, a smile that scared her the most.

She took a step back when he came close to her but that didn't stop him from cornering her and her back hit the wall behind her. He raised his hand towards her face and she closed her eyes, scared. She shuddered when his fingers trail down from her temple and her jaw and neck. Her blonde hair was left open.

"In the middle of the night?" she didn't answer him knowing he could decipher her lies through her words. He stepped closer that had her turn her face away from him and his words vibrated on the skin of her neck,

"Did you go to meet him, my sweet girl?"
