The Academy Circle Fest: Day Three (1)

Our search yesterday come to an end after we part way with Diefa. We couldn't find the other students on our list. Seriously, these people are hard to find. Are they a mole or something? Well, I already told Reiya to pull over any of them if he saw them and we would meet at grand fountain later on. I was thinking about those while training. 


Of course, I am not training in the Hearth mountain. I don't want to meet him again, once is enough. I am not a fan of getting hurt.

Anyway, right now I am at the Rocky hills doing some basic work out. It seems ineffective at once, but the truth was different. Maybe it would be ineffective if I do it normally, but right now I am using gravitational magic although it only twice of this world gravitation force. You might think about what the use of that with my superhuman strength, but the truth it makes significant changes. First, it makes my body weight increase by two times. Which disturbing my sense of balance, half of my strength drained just for keeping me standing straight.

 You might think it only changes from one to two, so it would be easy. Just used two times of strength. Unfortunately, it didn't work like that, indeed you could lift your body with force twice as for how you did it normally as nothing happens if it only for matters of minutes. But when it goes on for a long period of times, you could tell that not enough blood gets to your head. I could tell the pressure keep compressing my body... I hope I won't get shorter.

Second, since not enough blood gets to my head, it makes me light headed. This is because of my heart haven't got used to pumping my blood with two times gravity. So not enough oxygen goes through there.

Third... The oxygen around me gets denser as the gravitation increasing. Which mean it harder to breathe than normal. Also, I spending more energy to move around. 

So, that is the reasons why I use half of my strength just to be able to do things normally. I've only run around for an hour, but I've completely out of breath even with my improved potential. 

Then when I dispell the gravitational magic, it gives me a new reason. I could feel a sudden rush of blood pressure to my entire body! The heck, this must be because of the sudden change of gravitation. My heart was pumping really hard to supply blood to my head before, then suddenly the pressure that holding it was released. I could feel it beating hard, as my nose starting to bleed. Damn, some of my veins definitely ruptured, because it got compressed before by the pressure. Then when I suddenly changed the gravitation to normal, it got decompressed with the sudden rush of blood that flowing hard because of my fast heartbeats. I used healing magic at once, as I sitting on the ground and stabilizing my heartbeat and breath.

This is really bad, I could also feel my muscle got strained by the sudden change. Now I regret my decision to using that magic for training. Although the results were great, by one session my potential increase around 0.07 across the board. I wonder if I could become like that anime character by training under multiplied gravitation. Still, there never side effects for them when they training in that hyper something chamber. Reality never works the same, I guess. 

After the morning training, I return to my room as if nothing happens. My mana has recovered after doing that self-meditation and healing. It keeps growing tho. When I return surprisingly Silva still in the room, he looks at me profoundly.

"Have you done your morning training?"

"Done. What are you up to, Silva?

" I need a favor."

"You need my help?"

"... Yes."

He answers me bashfully, I could see his face goes red as he glancing on his desk. On his desk there... A pile of paper that shredded. When I pick some of it, I could tell that it was drawn with something. It the pe— I mean some weird dog picture from before.

"... Seriously, what were you trying to draw?"

"That... The reason I need your favor. Although you are a bastard and trash of a noble... I must admit, that you were one of the best in painting. Your art class was one of the best in noble faculty before."

"... Get to the point Silva, hearing your compliments scared me."

"... Teach me how to draw this magic circle."

I look at the book he pulls out, as I take a look on the opened page. It magic formation, with dual circle... The hell, how did he made this look like a pe—weird dog face. Is it because I saw it upside down before? Also... This words around it... Alphabet? Honestly, I got zero knowledge about magic formation and engraving magic. It wasn't included in my study as noble lineage, or my curriculum from before. Since I was completely at talentless with magic in the past, I've never tried to learn it. But this is the first time I see a magic circle using the alphabet, I was used seeing Yvain works after all.

"Okay? How did you make this magic formation, to become like a pen—weird dog face? And what with this scribble here?"

He scratching his head when I spoke those words.

"This is past heroes magic formation. He invents it using his world language."

I see... This is the magic formation of a hero that comes from Earth. It a dual circular formation, with a triangle connecting the center of both circle. I don't know what is the other symbols in the circles or outside it. But I definitely understand the words. I could tell that the first circle was used to drawn out fire elemental from the air, while the other one is used to make wind magic. Then this triangle is a formation to combine both magic. I am basically reading it! The maker writes it plainly, whoever understand English can read it! He only writes 'fire burn every oxygen on the first circle', then on the second one was 'wind make a tornado', and 'combine both magic and burn everything in front of me' ... While there also some image is drawn there, which symbolized the element. I don't understand the other tho, but if I wasn't wrong this should be the magic circuit.

Somehow the image of complicated magic formation and engraving in my mind got clearer. 

It wasn't so complicated it as it seems to be before! Also, the words in this diagram weren't so clear, I guess this wasn't written by the person itself. I am sure because those alphabets look like scribble. But it a good discovery for me, since I found out that, you can used alphabets in stead of those magic letters that used by this world. 

"Question, how did a magic formation works?"

"Eh? You draw the formation based on the element, then write the magic letters while imbuing it with mana. Usually, the words would be based on magic chants. While the magic circuit used to comprehend the sequence of the engraved words. Well this magic formation definitely weird tho... I can't decipher this magic circuit. All I could understand is the fire symbol, wind symbol, and mana symbol."

I observing the magic circle once again, when Silva said those... Hold on, why does this symbols seems familiar, and all those branch from the symbols... Is it... Are you kidding me? It logic gate symbols! That a symbol for and, or, xor, nand.... Now this is really crazy. Predecessor are you a f*cking electrical engineer or maybe IT grad student? You could make a magic formation like this too?

... No, from the start chanting wasn't needed. All you need to know is how nature works and imagine it happen while casting magic. Mana is like some sort of fuel or energy to conjure the spell. The magic sequence itself is a phenomenon of mana when it took shape of the natural occurrence based on your imagination. The magic would fail to cast if your imagination isn't in accordance with the natural order or you don't have enough mana to make the magic sequence. Although you could force it if you used a higher amount of mana. But the results won't be as good as if you understand the natural order. Don't tell me, all this time people of this world never understand this? Is it the reason why that guy is mocked for being a jester of magician? Also is this the reason why that master magicians were low in number? Damn it... Then Ramza thesis would be a real groundbreaking.

Also this predecessor magic formation... You making a logic gate as the circuit that genius! In case there a malfunction the formation would work by itself to create the sequence by itself. Like here with or without oxygen, in case there is no oxygen on the air, the magic formation would go to create oxygen first, before creating the fire. I sigh, then looking back to Silva.

"Can't you draw it with a ruler?"

"... I can draw it with those, but I don't mean to ask your favor to help me in the formation drawing. I want you to help me draw the symbols."

"Ehhh... Then that paper?"

"I was practicing to draw the formation. I could draw it out already, but I can't draw the symbols which come from the heroes world. I am not that bad at drawing! It just these letters which like symbols is really hard to copy."

Ummm well, this world letters is cursive letters that look like old Hebrew. But with each letters connecting one another. If I don't have Zein memories, I would have a hard time to learn it.

"I understand now... We should talk about it later. I got another appointment today."

"You got an appointment?"

He looks surprised as I told him I am busy.

Well, the letter here consists of two words of the english alphabet at least. Like 'A' in English would be akh here. Of course, I am feigning ignorance.

"I don't know, anyway I got to go soon. See you later White."

He only shakes his head as I go out of the room. As usual, I take a bath then change to the school uniform. Why? Because Zein Dageraad rarely used the uniform. That why I am changing to my uniform, I already made an appointment with Reiya yesterday. We would meet at the grand fountain after my morning training. Since he got something to do first in the morning, it was things for all freshman. That why we plan to meet there after the 4th bells. I also told him to just pull our target of recruitment if he ever saw them. 

I go right away after I wore my uniform and teleport near the artificial lake. It one of the spots that hardly get anyone there in this kind of seasons. I wear my mask as I arrive there before I stride over to the grand fountain. It wasn't far from here after all this place is located behind the swordsmanship faculty. It only took me around 10 mins to reach the grand fountain.

When I arrive there, I couldn't found his figure. Well, it wasn't the time yet so it normal. But somehow as I am standing there alone, many students starting to gather around me. They looking at me like they found celebrities. on Earth. I got a feeling if I am on Earth right now, they would pull out their phone and starting to take pictures of me. Then a girl suddenly rummaging her bag, and pull out a pen and paper. While being bashful she comes to me.

"Se-senior fox, could I ask for an autograph?"

Yep, she asked me an autograph, as she pushes the paper and writing tool to me. I was speechless since the thing really happens, but I keep my cool as I took over the pen.

"Sure."

I said that while writing a signature of Johnny in this world letters. She smiles brightly before she bowing down, seems like I have done something I shouldn't have done. I look at my surrounding which starting to rummaging their belongings. Fortunately, I found Reiya figures from behind the crowd with another person. It was a student with a tall stocky figure. He got a blazing red hair and sharp eyebrows. His pupils colored dark brown same as mud color, although he doesn't seem like muddle-headed. Since it got clear conscience while looking at the crowd. His looks are average outside of those. What really made me jealous of him is his height of course, which around 190. I walk through the crowd and approaching them. Fortunately, they didn't even try to block my path. The crowd opened a path for me without any need of me to say anything.

When I stand in front of them, the student which I assume as Rood, looking at me in admiration.

"You're finally here."

"Sorry to make you waiting for us, brother. This—"

"We should move on first. This place is overcrowded."

I cut his words, as I gesture them to follow me. They nod in agreement and come along with me. No one stopping us from leaving the place, nor they following us. There some disappointment noise from them tho. After walking for quite a while we arrive near the lake once again. It's as deserted as before. 

"Alright, this place got much more privacy than the grand fountain."

"Yes. Anyway, brother, this is—"

"M-my name is Rood! Brother fox, I've heard your deed yesterday! You're a really amazing person."

Before Reiya could finish his words, once again someone cut him. It Rood this time, he spoke those words full of energy as he offering handshake with me. Yep, somehow that Johnny got an alias as brother fox now. All the students called me those, I never told Johnny alias to the other students after all. I shake his hand, which make him got more energetic.

"Ah!! Brother fox shakes my hand. My roommate would be jealous of me for sure when I told them this!"

This is embarrassing... As I look at him staring at his hand that just shaking mine. Reiya got a wry smile too, as he looks at the spectacle. 

"Cough. Anyway, Reiya, have you told him about it?"

"... Not yet brother. When I told him, a senior of mine want to meet him, he agrees at once. I think he already guesses it you since he been expecting about it so much."

"I see. Then Rood—"

When I change my view back to him, he still dazedly looking at his hand, while mumbling and laughing about something. Okay, this is weird. Should I hit him? But before I could do those, Reiya nudges his shoulder. He looks at him right away, then he realized we're still there.

"Ah. I apologize, senior, I was out of my mind before. What were we talking about?"

"It fine. Anyway, we haven't talked about anything. So I guess let's start talking about the reason, I want to meet you. I want—"

"I agree!"

"..."

"..."

Me and Reiya completely speechless since he agreeing without hearing my words. What the heck is this guy? Did he get tendencies to ask for a beating by not listening to the other? Looking at us being speechless he scratches his head.

"I don't know what noble friend Reiya and senior want to ask me for, but if it for the admirable senior fox, I would even cross a mountain of swords!"

"... No need. We only want to ask you to join our circle."

"Yo-you want me to join your circle?! I want to join! No, let me join your circle."

He rummaging his belonging at once, and pulled a pen and an ink stone. This fella is really energetic. Since he agreed to join us, I give him the form. He wrote his name and signature at once.

"Alright, then we should meet again next week by the grand fountain. I got another thing to do now, right Reiya told the other to come there by next week."

"I understand brother. But what was your plan now?"

"Something to do with that couple."

"Ah... I got it. I wish you good luck then."

With those parting words, I move away and teleport to our family mansion in the capital. Of course, I go to my own room. Now then, I need a material that got a good conductivity of mana and I could start doing my research. Well, I am not sure how magic engraving works. But from Silva explanation I got a rough idea how to make it. All I need is understanding of the magic that I plan to engrave, a mana stone to be use as a fuel, material that could conduct mana, then the structure of the magic item that I want to create. It basically like a machine that using mana as energy, but the differences is the circuit made by engraving the magic symbols. 

Well, simple magic item can be made just by engraving magic on the material and arrange it to make a magic formation. For example like boundary  magic item those adventurers bring when they diving a dungeon. They only need to activating the magic stake and plant it on 6 directions. 

It only used to hide their presences from dungeon monsters. It blocking their scent and sounds, although it doesn't block monsters to got inside. But dungeon monsters hardly go outside their room except they sense a presence. So it good enough as long the adventurer clear the monsters in the room before setting up the boundaries magic formation. It drains a mana stone every hours tho, that why the adventurer only used it when they plan to dive to the deepest of a dungeon. 

Anyway, that magic formation wasn't so hard to make. While here I make a new concept of magic formations. But I guess it would work if I used the predecessor technique. Luckily I was an electrical engineering student beforehand, although I change my major midways because some circumstances. Hmmm... I need to put a mana detection, mana absorbing, and loop so it could recharge. The only problems is mana absorbing magic, I never knew how to do it. Because I absorb mana without using magic, I only meditating and breathing in the mana in the air before changing it to my own. Ah, I guess I need a mana converting magic too. The structure of mana in the air is kinda different from those in people body after all.

"Well let's get to work."

People called me as a trash noble, or shitty bastard. That is who am I in the public eyes as my oldself doing many shitty things. As for me? I am a transmigrator, I am dead because of that asshole noble. The God that I met said, yeah you died because somehow your soul got linked. So his injury got transferred to you.

"Should we fight?" Zax asked indifferently.

In the past month Carl gave Zax a short time to think about the weight of death. In the Savage Cave even the most delicate of beings, whether human or beasts, will sharpen its claws or fangs or talons, and regardless of how much one will preserve, eventually blood will smear the hands, paws, wings and first life will be taken.

However in this fleeting month Zax realized that it was not the similar actions of his big sister that he sought, but her approval for his.

"Not yet. If we will, more will come in tides. Let's take care of them in one go". Carl said. To keep up with Zax he used his mist energy to strengthen himself and even though he was still slower, the savages soon could not keep up and lost them.

"This many are good enough". Carl announced several hours after the first batch of savages.

"I wonder why they don't attack each other…" Zax said.

The two stopped on a tall branch and jumped down. Soon after, the savages arrived, a group of twelve, seven beasts and five humans.

"The beasts are mine!" Carl proclaimed. It seemed that he still was pushing Zax on the matter of death and measured that it will dawn on him heavily if he will take the lives of those from his species.

Zax frowned, but Carl already launched himself on the beasts and attracted all seven. "Mindless souls". Carl murmured. Rather than being attract to him, some of the seven jumped each other and began to fight. The same was with the five humans.

"One Mist Master and four Mist Lords". Zax stared at the five. "Why they chased if they are gonna fight each other?" The Mist Master looked like a young man. He was being torn apart by a female Mist Lord while the other three, another female and two men, attacked Zax.

The female that was coming at Zax was the strongest of the five, at the Advanced phase of her level. She was fully focused on Zax and when one of the other three hindered her, she instinctively drove him back.

For the first couple of seconds Zax hesitated. The two women were the first that he encountered in the Savage Cave. Two formidable women… he could not help but somewhat see a reflection of his big sister on their faces. What made his heart falter even more was that the expression of his big sister's reflection was too surreal, not that different from the two women's.

"Die!" To do what he had to Zax forcefully bellowed. His punches were thrown to the chests and destroyed the hearts of the two women and then the three men. A quick death overall.

When the fifth body hit the ground Zax stopped justifying the need to kill. He survived and that was it. Shaking his hand to get rid from the bit of blood that stained it he looked for Carl.

"What are you doing?" Zax asked. Carl was crouching beside one of the beast that he killed, it had the body of a giant bear, but the head was destroyed during the fight so Zax could not tell for sure.

"Taking a slice of his skin". Carl said.

"Your loincloth still on, you know…" In their time together, Zax saw Carl skinning a beast only to teach him how to make a loincloth.

"Are you planning to collect and hold the plants in your hands once you found them?"

"Ah…" Zax was lost for words. He actually did not think about it till now, and then he remembered why. "Master urged me to return when I hone my soul and gave me a day to look for the plants… because of how he put it I did not expect to find many…" Zax was embarrassed. When he said it aloud it sounded to him like an excuse of an irresponsible child.

"Little brother Zax, sometimes calling you 'inexperienced' is simply not enough…" Carl shook his head and finished making two pouches from the bear's skin. Since he used his mist energy to clean the skin Carl managed to make two fine carrying tools and Zax gladly and shyly received one.

"What?" Carl said when he saw Zax glance surprisingly at the pouch in his hand. "You think that only you interested in treasures?"

The two journeyed to where Carl believed was their highest possibility of finding rare plants, the entrance to the tunnel that lead to the second Savage Cave.

On their way they passed some groves that were too outrageous in their size. Because beasts kept attacking them, Carl was afraid that they will disturb the experts in those groves and so chose to divert their path more often than he wanted to, to not get close to the groves. Better them being the target of hundreds of savages than for them to be the occasional outlet to the pent up savagery of one of the experts, which for tens or hundreds of years trained in the cave.

As they ventured deeper into the cave, the hills and forests dwindled and were taken over by meadows and mountains. To reach the cave's walls Carl and Zax had to climb the mountains that were the dwelling places of many winged beasts. Among all, a Three Beaks Vulture was the dominating predator of the high terrains. To fight him in his natural habitat was akin for Zax and Carl to dealing with another Core Master, and when the Three Beaks Vulture dived, his speed was not slower than Zax's.

To pass the mountains unhindered, the two went through ravines and only when their path was blocked did they climb as swiftly as they could.

A week after they left Zri and his grove, the two arrived to the cave's wall. The terrain was hundreds of meters higher than their starting point, and to find the entrance that leads to the second Savage Cave, or at least its area of influence in the first Savage Cave, what was left for them was to look left and right and choose a direction.

On the high terrain the Blood Red Grapes could not grow, and as a result, to replenish his strength Zax hunted the winged beast, eating tens kilos of beast's meat every sitting, five times a day. Carl, on the other hand, sustained himself quite well with just his mist energy. He explained to Zax that once one reach to the Corer Master realm, then just by circulating the mist in a certain manner, it will replenish on its own. Of course, there are techniques for Mist Users in lower levels, but they are less affective.

Zax sure envied Carl, but since nothing could be done for his clogged Qi channels he said nothing and continued eating.

A day time later the two detected a force that they did not recognize, foreign to the first Savage Cave. The force had a peculiar energy signature that Carl picked up with his mist energy. Afterwards, both he and Zax crossed an invisible boundary that exuded an immense gravitation force.

"Carl!" Zax shouted.

The gravitation force was thirty to fifty times stronger than outside the invisible boundary. To Carl, who had to fortify his body with layers of mist energy, the gravitation force transpired too abruptly. A moment of unbalance subverted his control and his layers of mist energy dispersed instantly.

BANG!

Carl's knees sunk into the barren soil. A mouthful of blood spewed on the ground and his body crushed completely.

Seeing this alarming scene, a realization and fear of his only friend, his brother, about to be lost unless he act, befell on Zax. He rushed to Carl's side, picked him up and carried him outside of the invisible boundary.

"Thanks… cough… Little brother Zax… cough". Outside, Carl found his footing, however leaned on Zax for support. "How frightening… cough…" Blood still spilled from his mouth. "…Now I see why the savages stopped following us… cough…"

"Enough talking, Carl", Zax scolded. "Can you heal?" He asked worriedly.

"Amm…" Carl closed his eyes and surveyed the damage to his internals. "Yes. The gravitation force broken the outer layers of mist energy, but you dragged me out before the inner ones slumped. My body is just in shock. Let's wait for a day and reenter". After speaking he sat in a meditative position and closed his eyes.

Zax also said nothing and quietly waited for a day to pass.

"Are you ready?" Carl asked Zax. He and Zax were a step from the invisible boundary, about to cross it again.

"Inexperienced brats are not qualified to ask". Zax teased.

"What's that?!" Carl was genuinely angry at himself for providing Zax the opportunity to tease him in his words.

"Don't force yourself if you have troubles hearing". Somehow, after the experience of almost losing him, Zax ended up more open and attached than before to Carl. He laughed and crossed first.

"One day, brat, I'll show you my true form and we'll see who have troubles hearing…" Carl followed with a grin.

"Promises, promises…"

"Fine, little bratty brother Zax, let's go see how far is the scope of this boundary from the entrance to the other cave".

…

"There!" Zax pointed a short time after they crossed the boundary. Ahead of them, nearly two and a half kilometers from where they entered, was the entrance of the tunnel to the second Savage Cave and as they got closer to it so did the gravitation force became more oppressing.

"I thought that the gravitation force is a byproduct to the proximity to the second cave. So it's actually leaks from the other side…" Carl said. "We should stay away from the entrance… this far from it", he stopped Zax four hundred meters from the entrance. "Should suffice".

"Carl…" Zax turned to him with baffled look in his eyes. "I can't release my Soul Sense… did you try to release yours?"

The soil within the area of influence that the invisible boundary contained was barren and covered by a carpet of sand that was sharp as glass. Still, Zax did not doubt what Carl told him before they left the grove; that the energy from the second Savage Cave supplements the most unique plants in the first Savage Cage and that by getting close to it they will find them. But he did ponder how in a place like this any plants supposed to grow and it occurred to him that if not above ground than beneath it they might be thriving. Thus, Zax used his Soul Sense only to discover that it cannot leave his sea of consciousness.

Carl followed his elders' tips and before searching for the plants he assessed how close he can get to the entrance to the tunnel. Only then, he was told to start looking for treasurers. Therefore, unlike his inexperienced companion, he did not use his Soul Sense until Zax mentioned it. "The gravitation force probably represses it". He also failed to release his Soul Sense. "Never mind it; the plants should not be too deep in the ground. We can dig to our heart's content to find them".

Zax sighed. The distance the walked from where they entered the invisible boundary was nearly two kilometers and five hundred meters. If this was the scope of the boundary from the entrance to the tunnel…

"Tsk! This soil is actually leaving white marks on my hands!" Zax complained. "The glassy sand is sharper than a Beginner Mist Lord's claws attack". Since he mostly fought beasts in the Savage Cave, Zax compared the sand to the attack most familiar to him.

Carl was using the Assault Of The Leader Martial technique to tear up the ground, but beyond the sand, his claws could only dig through the soil a few centimeters at a time. "You are looking for a certain type of flowers, right?" He spoke without halting or giving Zax a chance to answer. "What are you complaining about when I search for a certain type of root? Don't forget, anything that grows here is considered a treasure, and treasure cannot simply be pluck from the ground!"

The two labored for hours. One patch of earth after the other they dug and more.

"A red stalk… Found one!" six hours after they started Zax yelled in delight and Carl rushed over.

"Hahaha! Little brothers do suck the luck out of their elders!" Carl laughed.

It was the stalk of the flower with the seven white petals. "Look at that!" Zax shoved the sand and was aghast. The flower was not buried deep in the ground; it was laying on it covered by the sand with only the stalk and the roots planted.

"The gravitation force causing it to grow lying down and the glassy sand hid it". The two of them took another look on the barren soil and the shiny sand. "Who knew that this place was so sly?" Carl exclaimed.

"If the other flower Master told me to look for also hidden underneath the sand, then all I need to do is to sweep a little". Zax's lips stretched to a smile.

"Now that's truly unfair!" Carl sulked.

"Hehehe… Don't worry, I'll help you dig, even though you can just change to your animalistic form and make it easier for both of us".

"Nope, staying in my human form. And since I consider what you said as a promise I'm not going to care, either".

"You are happy, aren't you?" Zax could tell, after finding the flower he himself definitely was.

"Of course I'm. I can't call you 'little brother' as a figure of speech. Between us there is already brotherhood". His sincerity emanated strongly from his eyes, and Zax who was a youth closer to his child then his adult years, averted his gaze.

Suddenly it struck Zax; it was not a momentary thing, he truly did see Carl as a big brother.

Catastrophe occurs. Humanity and beasts escape to a world beneath the earth. Discoveries are made and humans and beasts transcends. Years pass… Wars shape the territories and sovereign forces in the new world, below the earth. In this world where the strong is dominant, a boy with great potential and aspirations for strength is born. Will this boy strive and achieve his dreams? Or will he be crushed by the callous Martial world?

It was dead silent!

Everyone was looking at the two opponents in the stage, one was a fire fairy ranked in the top 10, while the was a dark horse!

" LIttle Brother, I've heard you've had little bet, with our little Liane, Unfortunately you will nit be able to accomplish the bet, since i shall end it here. How about this, why don't you become my little slave! Yours thinking two much of yourself, that Ji Lin and You are nothing more than trash compare us in the top 5!"

" Trash?" Yu LIe laughed loudly. He stared at Fire Fairy's body, Without any fear, he then shook his head and said, "You really are lacking, since i am trash, what will you be when i wipe the floor with You! me being your Slave? How about this after this battle why don't you become my special slave. No, actually you don't fit my taste, Where the Heck are You dam Buns! For you to stay on my side, i expect a hotties, not a Flatty! 

" You! Bastard" seeing his star, Yue Feng Curved her body, she had never been humiliated like this before. 

" Phoenix Burning the Sky "

Someone cried out loudly. This was one of Yue Feng's secret methods. a whilepool of fire stared to form around Her. 

When this type of Fire Cyclone formed, not only would one's speed be increased substantially, one's fighting strength would shoot up as well, making them difficult to withstand. The main thing was the user's body had a layer of fire on his body, which increased there powers tenfold.  

Yu Lie was shocked as well. The technique in front, was a secret techniques that a greater warrior in the ancient Era, created when he was observing a Phoenix's rebirth. 

But surprised, him more, was that this became an lost technique, Even his library did not have the compete version! 

Seeing his opponent, gulf in a armor of Fire, Yu Lie knew that he had to get serious. 

Boom! Piles of Earth flow out of the area that Yu Lie stood, he eventually got into battle position.

 " Isn't that the Giant Earth Gravitation Pull technique?" Someone asked
 
" Yes it is, but this boys technique is on a much higher higher level that the once's i've seen" an old man suddenly examined.

The Giant Earth Gravitation Pull, was a  earth based technique that Yu Lie learned when he was in the forest for 2 years ago. During that time he was able to get an understanding of his Earth Element and expand his combat power, his affinity for Earth was not as strong as fire, but after training in  it, he reached a certain Level. From the start he planned to Use Earth rather than than his Fire Element, the fire Element would be his hidden Card!

The Giant Earth Gravitation Pull, was similar to Phoenix Burning the Sky, the difference was instead of it being fire energy, Gravity was the central focal point, and the focal point was Yu Lie in the middle. 

He could change the gravity around his areas, at the movement he had control over 5 meters around him, the closer an object or person got to Yu Lie, they would 20 times the more gravity!

" Earth Vs Fire! Who's going to win" Someone shouted excited from the crowd  

Back in the Royal City, his parents were watching the entire competition, and the nervous they felt was extreme high.

" Dear, do you think our Little Yu Can Win?" suddenly is mother asked this question to his father

His father could only shake his head, " we can only wait and see, that Young girl is quite strong But i have faith in little Yu!"

Back in the stage, the duo continued to look at each other, both probing there opponents

" Fire Blist!" Just than Yue Feng moves, small father shaped, embers formed around her and in a few seconds these embers grew until they were the size about a small feather. " Go Attack!"

Swoosh! a bright line formed from the hundreds of feather shaped flames and directly attacked Yu Lie.

Yu Lie stood there calmly and without worry made his move!

" Gravitational Extinction!"  

Just as the flames were about to reach Yu Lie, they wither and died out! this was due to the effects of the Gravitational Extinction! basically this move reduced the gravitational control that Yu Lie has over a range of area, and in turn strengths the gravitation force right around him.

So the multiple flames burned out right in front Yu Lie's Body!

For the next period of times, Yue Fend used these distant attacks, but Yu Lie was able to successfully prevent those attacks, But Yu LIe Knew that he had to end this battle soon, or else for both it could come down to who's heaven's and Earth's energy ran out fast. This was one thing that he did not want to happened, he knew that there was going to be another match, after this match and he did not want to completely use up his energy! 

Boom, Yu Lie initiated his foot steps and directly attacked Yue Feng.

A smile popped up on her face when she saw him move, She knew the dangers of fighting Yu LIe in close distant, but since he made the first move she knew her chance had finally come!

This was one of the flaws of the Giant Earth Gravitational Pull, it was quite strong when one did not move but when one did move it became weaker and weaker.

" Phoenix Claws the Sky!" roared Yue Feng

" Giant Ape's Circular Destruction First!"  roared Yu Lie

A collision occurred between the two individuals, Yue Feng was tossed  a few meters away, while took 4 steps back.

Finding her footing, she came to a stop and looked over at Yu Lie with shock and than she went to one knee and gulp a mouth full of blood!

The entire stadium was shook by the events that just occurred. The first Fairy was one one knee and had taken a serious damage, while the youth stood there like stone as if nothing happened!

" Hahaha, Little Brother Your Strong! here i'm going to apologize to you for calling be you an trash! Your not a trash, your a F*en genius, I hope you can tame that little Goddess, Hahaha. We should catch up after this tournament"  She Winked at Yu Lie, and than she left the stage!

" I lost this match fair and square"

Yu LIe, was shocked, he still could believe but just happened. He was still dazing on the stage and trying to figure out what the heck just happened!

Inside the stadium everyone was discussion about what happened

" This Dark horse is strong and has the strength to compete in the top 5, But Goddess Fire Fairy is also smart. She knew that she was not his match after witnessing that last strike and backed off, instead of wasting all her energy in this battle, she choose to reserve it and fight the next upcoming battle"

" Yup, even Tho, Fire fairy comes is arrogant she's smart and knows when to back off"

Back in the Stadium, Yu Lie walked of the stage with peculiar look and waited for his next match to occur.

And Finally that next match was announced! It was Yu Lie Versus Liane Blythe! The matched of the Bets!

Satie's eyes were stone cold, uttering the words, "I'll kill you!"
Like a hurricane, the Mad Mob charged towards the Heavenly Dragon Knight, who had lost its alloy lance. If the opponent was courting death, death it shall be.
Achilles' eyes were mercury-like. Despite the opponent's attacks, he did not retreat. The mech pressed on in a steady pace, moving left and right; like quicksilver flowing in all directions.
Heavenly King Arts - such inspiration.
Mastering the fact tracking of military attacks, the Mad Mob's attacks were fast and furious. However, his every move was calculated, dodging the opponent's attacks with ease.
Witnessing the rapid growth of Wang Zheng, how could he - Achilles - not be anxious?
Even Zhang Shan had made such progress, much less Achilles - the sun god. He had joined Saruman Snake alongside Wang Zheng for two reasons: to learn as much as he could from Wang Zheng and to challenge himself to betterment. If Lear chose to fight against growth, then he chose to observe growth.
Being a bystander, he was able to appreciate more.
The axes were swung frantically in the air more than twenty times without hitting the targets; the fierceness of the Mad Mob and ease of the Heavenly Dragon Knight formed a sharp contrast..
In a flash, the two axes were up in the air again. The Heavenly Dragon Knight mech interjected and buckled his arms. In a quick maneuver, the Mad Mob was thrown off. The Heavenly Dragon Knight followed closely and shot a kick. Not to be out done, Satie was able to regain control of his mech in mid-air. Inconceivably, Satie was able to put some distance between them, leaving Achilles' kick frustrated.
Ability X - metal control.
This was Satie's understanding of metallic elements. He had a certain degree of manipulation of any object containing metal. It was impossible to avoid this attack with strong control.
The mech was grounded. Satie was getting somber. Achilles was not as incompetent as you would imagine.
The two axes interlocked abruptly. The Mad Mob attacked again, not giving his opponent a moment of breather.
In the onrush, two axes were flung without a warning. The Heavenly Dragon Knight evaded instinctively. Satie made a breakthrough and punched out. Not retreating, the Heavenly Dragon Knight met it with a similar punch.
Boom…
The two mecha entangled. The two soaring axes missed each other, swiveled and flew back.
Satie let out a slightest sneer. But at this very moment, the two axes froze in midair as well.
The gravity of Achilles.
Metal control vs universal gravitation!
Power vs power, Ability X vs Ability X. A face-to-face confrontation between Achilles and Satie.
During entanglement, no obvious technique would be involved, except to apply more brute force. The stronger the power, the stronger you were. The stronger the Ability X, the more powerful you were. 
Spirits rampaged. Both Achilles and Satie possessed B-grade Ability Xs. The power that would be released during a stalemate would be quite astonishing. The mecha felt the effects of the strong assaults. Satie's Mad Mob mech was shrouded with a strong count of yellow force, whilst Achilles' Heavenly Dragon Knight mech a silver force.
It was a mistake to assume that in a stalemate such as this, one could avoid the realm of an Earth-rank level Ability X. Although the strength of the ability may be comparable, the difference would differ in the level of control exerted, thus determining the outcome of the stalemate. 
Satie's inner rage began to emerge. He relished such contests because he could shred the opponent into pieces. Satie was much stronger than this effeminate man from the moon, be it physically or Ability X.
Roar… 
With a loud grunt, Satie was determined to take down the Heavenly Dragon Knight, but…
Heavenly Dragon Knight stood unwavered, much like the two axes in the air.
What the hell was this?!
Grunt, grunt, grunt, grunt!
After four ensuing grunts, Satie's mech began to exert some force. His Ability X craved to overpower the opponent, but the two axes remained frozen in the air. Only his Mad Mob trembled a few times under the intense power distortion.
Not only was the Ability X limited during the qualifying round, a number of the warriors who surrounded them had used laser guns. Counterattack?
Death was imminent. It was useless even if you traded for more lives. Unlike Wang Zheng, Achilles formed his own judgments. Even now, being a member of Saruman Snake, it did not mean that he inspired to be Wang Zheng.
He was the descendant of the heavenly king. A descendant of a great warrior whom even the gods admired.

The sky shone brightly by the silvery shine, just like the moon. The Earth-rank level Ability X!

Despite having attained Earth-rank, Satie was much older than Achilles. However, the vast difference was evident in the grade level. Compared to Achilles' universal gravitation control, his metallic control seemed ordinary.
Even more formidable was Achilles' combination of the Heavenly King Arts and universal gravitation.
Any retreat would be impossible during a stalemate. The power from both parties would intertwine. The party that was overpowered would have to endure the full intensity of the combined exploding forces.
Never in his dreams did Satie expect Achilles to be an Earth-rank warrior. If he had known about this, he would never have underestimated his opponent. Nonetheless, it was too late now. That information was erroneous!
The importance of the quality of one's Ability X would be even higher upon attaining Earth-rank level. If the Ability X was relatively ordinary, even if one entered the Earth rank, one would not be able to attain the power to decimate the heavens and earth. This was obviously Satie's metallic ability. Wang Zheng's Ability X was just as ordinary. However, his compound ability transformed his ability unequivocally. In addition, like Di Maria, once his Ability X attained Earth-rank level, the combat power would be really fearsome.
In this battle, upon attaining Earth rank, Achilles' Ability X had transformed too.
Satie's power was being suppressed. What was waiting for Satie in another ten seconds was certain destruction. Even comparing solely on pure power, he was not a match for Achilles. As a descendant of the Doyle family, what Achilles had experienced was something that Satie could never imagine. Some day, these accumulations would transform from quantitative to qualitative.

Like an X-shaped decoration, the two axes hacked into the Mad Mob mech, splitting the entire mech apart.

Achilles from Saruman Snake won!
The members of Saruman Snake were not surprised. Other than Wang Zheng, the most influential and the one who possessed the most leadership quality in the team was not Zhang Shan. This, at least Zhang Shan was self-aware of. Achilles was introverted and was unwilling to express himself unnecessarily. But no one dared to despise him. He had always been a symbolic figure of the Solar System.
He was just a step behind Wang Zheng.
Yet someone dared to disregard him.
Silence filled the stadium. Except for Wang Zheng, every position in Saruman Snake had been a weak link. Yet what was this situation?

TL;DR: Not Shakespeare, not complex, but fun and easy to read. Come support! 
As the translator, I've enjoyed translating this novel and I hope to bring the essence of what the author has tried to portray into the chapters you will read.
To sum it up in 3 words: Mechs! Explosions! Science!
To be perfectly honest, this novel is about your typically overpowered protagonist who does get looked down from time to time but always overcomes the odds with his own special power. He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense.
Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this.
The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is.
It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.


The invisible gravitation exploded out from Benji's body.
The sewers collapsed around him and the red liquid that was devouring his body splashed down on the ground.
It trembled and shrieked franticly but the overwhelming gravitation weighing down on it, was simply too strong.

Everything 100 meters around Benji collapsed totally under his gravitation.
[How do we absorb this thing?]
'With our Gravity Body, it wants to absorb us? We will turn the tables.'
[Can you control it? You will pull everything towards us if you can't.]
'Let me focus!'

Benji stretched out his hand, focusing solely on his palm.
A terrifying suction force that only aimed at the shrieking puddle made of red liquid on the ground pulled hard.

It resisted for a few seconds before it was violently lifted up by Benjis gravitational suction force.
It stuck to his palm before being forced to enter his body.

Benji and Adam felt the red liquid rush up into their head.
Their vision changed again and they were jerked into another place.
Benji looked around, the new place looked strangely familiar.
It was a village, 'I know this place this is...'
[This is part of our mind, I used to live here...]
'This is that village in Afghanistan!'
[Yes...]

Benji noticed something in the sky, it was a spiral made of dark matter.
[That is the bridge I told you about.] Said Adam.
"How....dare...you...insects...!!!" A raspy voice escaped from a red puddle on the ground.
It began to reform its body into a hideous monster.
It grew into a 4 meters tall spiky monster with 8 arms, sharp claws and fangs. Its 4 savage bloody red eyes focused on the spiral in the sky.
"The.....Nine.....Pillars....The.....way..to...the...Thrones....!
How...you....are.....inferior.....species....!!!" Spoke the monster with endless rage and bloodlust.

Benji looked at it with emotionless eyes.
[You entered The Zone?] Asked Adam unsure.
"Yes..." Spoke Benji with a cold indifference.
The monster turned its bloody gaze towards Benji after he spoke.
"Inferior....insects.....I...will....devour....and....become.....a....Pillar!!!"
Benji didn't respond, the incredible bloodlust crashing against him didn't affect at all.
His eyes only showed blank disinterest.
His left bright red eye sprang into action and thousands of red strings shot out, aiming at the hideous monster in front of him.

The strings wrapped around the monsters body, binding it.
[QUICK, I CAN'T HOLD IT FOR LONG!] Shouted Adam!
The monster roared out in anger, creating a huge shockwave that destroyed everything.
The whole village was blasted apart.
Its sharp claws cut the strings apart, but it felt danger approaching.
Benji was in the air, punching down at it. This wasn't a normal punch, the space around his fist was constantly being crushed nonstop.

The monster put its 8 arms over its head to block his attack.
The feeling of imminent death engulfed the monster, 'HOW...I.....'
It didn't finish its thoughts because Benji's fist had already turned it into paste.
Everything that came into contact with his fist was crushed into oblivion.
His fist didn't stop there, it created a crater on the ground that expanded exponentially.

The whole region turned into a single giant crater.
Benji floated in the air, staring down at the aftermath.
[Jesus! I knew we would be stronger here but not this strong!]
Benji looked at his fist.
'This is power!'
[It is!]

Suddenly millions of red dots came flying upwards from the middle of the giant crater., entering his body.
He had no opportunity to avoid them, they entered his body, causing him to lose his consciousness.

The mysterious dark spiral on the sky showed for the first time a reaction after all the red dots entered Benji's body.
It started to rotate faster and faster.
Then it opened, revealing a bridge that was darker than the darkest night.
The strong suction force coming from the bride in the sky dragged Benji inside it before slowly vanishing into the void.


Thick red liquid exited from every single pore of Benji's body, engulfing him completely and forming a red cocoon.

All the zombies in Central Dortmund stopped moving, they froze on the spot. Their red eyes became dull as if they had died.
That state didn't only last long before they went berserk!
They began to destroy everything around the red cocoon in which Benji was inside, driven by a never before seen madness...

Benji didn't know what was happening outside when he woke up.
He found himself at a very strange place.
Everything was clad by a dark fog inside that place.
[Where are we?] Asked Adam suddenly.
'I have no idea...'
[We are sitting?]
Benji only realized now that he was sitting since he woke up.

He stood up, observing where he was.
His gaze fell first on the thing he was sitting on when he woke up.
"What the hell is this thing?" Exclaimed Benji shocked.
[This...it looks like a throne to me, what do you say?] Spoke Adam somewhat confused.
Benji took a better look at it.

It was a black humongous throne decorated with many different kinds of skulls.
Benji didn't even recognize some of them, they were from creatures he had never seen.
'It's so ugly, I would rather have a couch...' Thought Benji.
[Remember those ancient roman couches? One of them would be nice!] Commented Adam.

Suddenly the humongous dark throne began to desegregate, turning into a luxurious ancient roman couch.
[No way!]
'Wow! I looks good.'
[Try it out!] Urged Adam.
Benji laughed and lied down on the ancient roman couch.
[Wow!]
"So comfortable!" Moaned Benji.
[Hm? Look!]

Adam hinted Benji to look around.
He noticed 8 tall white pillars near him.
Benji stood up again, walking to the end of the white platform.
It was then that he got a better view on the whole place.
He realized that he was standing on a huge white pillar himself, it was the highest from all.

[Nine Pillars...with Nine Thrones, didn't that monster say something about this?]
Benji nodded, 'You are right...just what is this place?'
The Nine Pillars formed a circle with the second-highest to Benji's right and the smallest to his left.

The pillars had a round form and were only about 6 meters wide.
Benji returned to his ancient roman couch, 'This place....it's so mysterious. Look our body is clad by the darkness.' Said Benji to Adam.
[I noticed it, I just hope that we aren't stuck here forever...]
"Damn don't jinx..." Benji felt his vision change before he could finish what he was about to say.

Benji, full name Benjamin Krone, is a depressive waste who plays video games all the time. 
He has no direction in life, and to make matters worse, there is also Adam, the voice in his head that is always there to annoy him...

But that all changed when "Doomsday" arrived.

No one knew exactly how many people died. A lethal virus that transformed most into undead beasts, and the few who resisted struggled to stay human.

In a world wrought with zombies, mutants and superpowers, Benji finds the post-apocalyptic battlegrounds a bit more exciting than a Friday night of ‘Grand Theft Auto’.

~Forest in the Outskirts of Buinswick. Year 3, 7th of July. Noon~

—Undine POV—

After destroying that goblin encampment and knowing that Eileen can still fight even with those injuries by kicking her lance with abnormal force that it can pierce through a goblin with dense and muscular muscles, but somehow managed to luckily hit him in the jewels.

I am impressed about it that it made me speechless. Especially on hearing that I was at fault for making her behave like this.

My fault that she obtained a fetish of destroying and crushing the male's jewels. In fact, I shuddered at the fact that she enjoys such activity.

It's a good thing that I'm a woman now. If I was brought into this world as a male, I had to be weary of Eileen. 

Will a different scenario happen if the one she saw kicking balls was a male?

No I think that will just make her a BL lover, I think.

After defeating the goblin encampment. We move towards the direction of the goblin settlement.

We encountered some goblins here and there, but we killed them before they managed to run away or call for help.

Everyone only managed to only receive minor injuries due to the upgrades I gave to the armour their wearing and weapons their holding.

Well... everyone except Eileen got minor injuries.

I almost completely forgot that Eileen has a self inflicted injury due to skill rebound.

I mean she fights like her arms was never injured. 

Well, her arms are still useless for a week, but she can use that heavy lance of hers like it is nothing due to gravitation magic and throw (kick) it towards an enemy like it was some sort of javelin or artillery.

The gravitation magic only works for her. If Eileen uses her gravitation magic on the lance and someone else holds it aside from her. They will have a hard time lifting it up, because even if with the gravitation magic is still in effect in the lance, only Eileen can feel the reduction of weight.

Because of that, it can fly so high into the sky and still pierces through the enemy due to inertia and the kinetic force from the power of the kick and speed of the lance plus it's height. It can pretty much pierce through a dragon.

After walking and slaughtering some goblins here and there. We finally arrived at the goblin settlement.

Seraphine looked towards me, seemingly asking me on what we should do.

I ordered everyone to prepare a fortified defensive perimeter around us.

We built a defensive perimeter in an hour. We created a defensive position by digging and making trenches. Cutting trees and using them as makeshift walls and barriers. Then we made it look natural by covering it with a lot of leaves.

During night time. We should be careful on not making noise by moving too much, because by just moving we are rustling some leaves nearby us.

Then we rested for a while inside the trenches.

After resting for around half an hour. I ordered those who can use magic and archers to bombard the gate and walls with spells and bombard the settlement with fire arrows.

The spells hit the walls with a few misses that hit the ground or went over the walls. The fire arrows went towards over the wall and after a few more rounds of fire arrows. Signs of fire which is smoke coming out of the settlement means that we managed to burn something inside there.

The fire arrows also hit the walls. The walls are made of wood and everyone who can use magic used fire magic to bombard the walls at the start until they run out of mana.

The fire magic that was struck into the wall plus the fire arrows that hit the walls burned slowly made the wall turn to ashes.

We can hear from here the sounds of goblins screaming from pain and shouting for anger.

I ordered everyone to stop attacking and prepare for a defensive battle.

Both heavy shield bearers and spearmen moved to the front.

The spearmen in the trench with their spears facing the settlement. The spears of the spearmen is in between the shield bearers.

Archers and the rest behind them, ready to aid them if necessary.

After a while. The goblins got out of the settlement and charged towards us.

We can hear the sounds of their screams of anger with their bloodshot eyes in anger. We can feel the ground shaking from their charge towards us.

I ordered the archers and those who can use magic to shoot their spells and arrows.

The spells and arrows managed to chip the number of enemies we are going to face, but there is still a huge numbers of goblins we have to fight.

I say those who can use magic, because they are not mages. They just can use magic. Magic on the lowest tier.

Mages, Wizards, and Witches are those who can use Tier 2 magic and above.

Those girls who can use magic in this unit are not mages. They are just mana wielders and infantrymen. Everyone here uses the magic they have not for magical attacks, but to use mana to recover stamina and wounds and conduct first-aid.

If they have spare mana. They can channel the mana into their weapons and if they are talented or skilled enough. They can add elemental attributes in their weapons for just one attack.

That one attack filled with mana can be deadly for both the weapon and enemy.

The weapon can get destroyed if it can't handle the amount of mana channelled to the sword is too much.

Deadly to the enemy, because it can either pierce through you and it can get you killed or it can disrupt your mana channels in your body which can cause internal injuries and possibly a horrific and agonizing death.

I also joined the fight.

I stabbed Asahira towards the gaps left behind the shield bearers and pierces a goblin in the head and I pulled Asahira back.

The shield bearers are holding their shields and bashing the goblins with their shields before attacking on their own and assume a defensive stance once again. 

After the shield bearers assume a defensive stance. The spearmen or in this case spearwomen, but I'll just stick to spearmen, then pushed their spears into the gaps left behind the shield bearers for the spearmen and killed more goblins in turn.

The rest then protected flank and making sure that the goblins doesn't encircle us.

Seraphine is protecting the right flank while Eileen is on the left flank.

I noticed this early morning, but the clouds are quite thick and dark.

It's quite ominous to be honest. Although it's ominous. I wish that it will rain as a result since I can infect those waters and turn them into Nō Water that can evaporate and precipitate and infect more water and turn them into Nō Water.

Having more Nō Water is good, since a spirit can only use her primary element for magic and it must have a medium.

The medium I use is Nō Water and Nature is my secondary element so I can't use it that much.

After fighting for an hour. Rain started falling down which made mo to grin then laugh so loud.

Everyone didn't look at me, because if they look away, they might be killed by a goblin.

I then told everyone the cause of my laughter.

"IT'S RAINING!!! Now I can use magic. This battle will become easier! Once rain starts crushing down on us. We will begin our counteroffensive"

Although the words doesn't have any charisma in them. The words I have spoken gave them hope and increased their willpower and determination to fight which causes to morale of this unit to skyrocket.

Rain then came pouring down on us. I then quickly infected the rainwater into Nō Water.

After converting them into Nō Water. I used the Nō Water as a medium to use magic.

I then created a water cutter big enough to cut this entire horde. I threw the water cutter towards the goblins and it cut them cleanly in two.

We then shouted our battle cry and charged towards the goblin settlement.

In the goblin settlement, I saw the remains of what was formerly buildings made of wood that was burned during the preemptive attack.

The goblins that we encountered immediately after entering are injured goblins.

We didn't care if they are injured or not and just nonchalantly killed them to death and slaughtered everyone in the settlement.

We encountered some goblin mages and goblin archers on the way, but we killed them while they were chanting their magic and preparing to shoot their bow.

We also encountered some higher ranking goblins like goblin knights and goblin nobles, but we killed them as easy as pie.

I didn't bother drowning all the goblins in the settlement, because this will serve as a good training for urban warfare.

Even though the goblins doesn't attack me. I attacked them and killed them with no mercy whatsoever.

Everytime a goblin general appears. A lance came crashing down from the sky and accurately hit the jewels of the goblin general and that made some of the goblin general cried from pain or from the loss of their son and some goblin generals screamed from pain and anger.

Even though the goblin generals cried or scream. It doesn't change the fact that they died along with their son.

The reasons from the death vary from shock, fear, blood loss, and killed by the others while the lance is stuck on the ground.

Some of those balls were pulverized and some were removed from the goblin body and dragged along by the lance and hit the ground.

Nobody dared to touch the lance which causes Eileen to run towards her lance and she threw it into the air using her feet and kicked it towards the goblin general located far away and again it accurately hit the balls.

I pretended not to see what just happen. The others also pretended that they didn't saw the lance and just assume that the balls of the goblin generals magically disappeared.

Reincarnated to a Low Class Spirit, From Weakest to Strongest, Make the battle and fight scenes as brutal as possible, show the dark and weak side of humanity, narrative style of writing, probably some r-18 in the future, slow paced story.

Trying to find justification for thins that she will do in the future as well as a way to hae fun in this new world through probably destruction.

This is a dark fantasy novel or what I wanted this novel to go with. And this is gender bender that is why it is a female lead, I got the inspiration from a certain novel.

Please tell me what to improve on and I plan to continue writing even if it's bad. I plan this to be like novel I will use for training to write better novels

After leaving the room, while Lucien was walking downstairs, he dispelled the spirit mark he left on Doro, as he didn’t want Smile to somehow find out his own unique way of tracking.
 
Carefully, Lucien approached the back door. Again, with some easy spells, Lucien managed to leave Copper Coronet quietly and no one ever noticed him. Just in case, Lucien took a very roundabout way first, instead of going back to his place directly, 
 
Lying in his bed, Lucien felt kind of encouraged since now he was certain that he was not alone. He was comforted by the fact that there were still other apprentices working hard while carefully hiding from the church. He wondered how many apprentices, sorcerers, and sorceresses were there in Aalto in total.

In the following few days, Lucien’s life was pretty plain but peaceful. Lucien got up early in the morning to do some work out and then went to work. Sometimes he read music books, and sometimes religion and travel book, sometimes he read in his own spirit library and analyzed the magic structures.
 
Although Pierre could be kind of weird sometimes, when he was reading his music books, Lucien almost couldn’t feel his existence. And luckily, Wolf had been out of town for a while, and no one else in the association would ever give them a hard time.
 
Life was almost perfect these days. The only pity was that Lucien didn’t have a chance to see Ms. Silvia, the famous violinist who was still single. According to Pierre, she was a goddess-like lady and was very talented. Since Pierre kept mentioning her for countless times, Lucien also started feeling curious. However, Mr. Silvia didn’t come to the association very often.
 
While learning music, Lucien was still learning how to read, but the time spent on the latter was much shorter now, since he was learning really fast. Like the rest of the music students, after finishing the class, Lucien would stay at Mr. Victor’s place and start another two-hour piano practicing. Lucien’s quality of being persistent helped him a lot. He never stopped practicing until he had really sore fingers and arms and sweated a lot.
 
The evening was reserved to the study of magic. Nothing could pull Lucien out of the magic world in this period of time.
 
On Friday evening, what Lucien was on his way to auntie Alisa’s place, he noticed there were some doodle-like patterns at the very corner of a wall. Lucien quickly understood what they meant.
 
“Ten o’clock. Saturday night. The abandoned house in the easternmost area in Aderon. Owl.”
 
Lucien’s expression did not change at all. He kept calmly walking toward Alisa’s place as if he had seen nothing unusual.

Lucien arrived at the place ten minutes earlier in his black robe, with Ice Revenger on his left hand. Before Lucien left his place, he also checked all the magic reagents in the pockets of the robe.
 
There was neither moon nor stars that night. Thick clouds covered all the light in the sky. 
 
As soon as Lucien arrived, he heard an owl hoot in the darkness. It was Doro standing on the tall willow, serving as a sentinel. Under the tree stood Smile in a black robe. In order to let Lucien recognize him, Smile didn’t wear his hood.
 
“Welcome, Mr. Professor.” Smiled walked toward Lucien and put on the hood, “I told the other members about you, and they were looking forward to your presence. Several apprentices also wanted to ask you for help with some magic problems. Of course, they will pay.”
 
Knowing that Smile was trying to test him, Lucien, however, didn’t feel nervous. He was pretty sure that he was more advanced than most of his peer apprentices, although he couldn’t guarantee that he was able to solve all the problems, “I major in Astrology and Element magic. So if these are questions related to those, I shall be able to help them a bit.”
 
Smile nodded, “Then please follow me, Mr. Professor.”
 
Smile stopped in front of the old wood door of the abandoned place. After knocking on the door in a unique rhythm, Smile mimicked an owl hoot.  
 
A few seconds later, a man wearing the same black robe opened the door slowly. When the man saw Lucien, he slightly nodded towards Lucien, “This must be Mr. Professor, then.”
 
Lucien could tell it was not the man’s real voice as well.
 
“Yes, this is Mr. Professor,” Smile’s voice was also lower than the other night, “and Professor, this is Fire Wolf.”
 
“Nice to meet you.” Lucien lowered his head slightly and greeted him. His left hand stayed in the sleeve, and his Ice Revenger was ready.
 
After walking through the living room and another door, Fire Wolf led them to the storage room. At the corner of the room, there was a staircase that led underground.
 
A basement! He wondered why he never thought about building a basement under his shack, instead of taking the risk and going down into the sewers every time. And at the same time, he could build a bigger crypt in Melzer Black Forest for practicing more powerful spells.
 
This was not a very spacious basement. Eleven low stools were placed surrounding a long table. Flickering candles sparsely illuminated the place. The other eight apprentices were already sitting there. All of them were wearing black robes.
 
Lucien walked downstairs with great caution, followed by Fire Wolf and Smile. They closed the door of the basement before they sat down.
 
“Everyone, today we’re honoured to have Mr. Professor here to exchange ideas and thoughts with us.” Smile stood up and started the introduction, “Mr. Professor is a real sorcerer. I’m sure our apprentice group meeting would benefit a lot from Mr. Professor’s profound knowledge.”
 
Then Smile started introducing the apprentices present one by one, “This is White Honey, Morning Star, Reindeer, White Glove, Oak, Philosopher, Mercury and Hanger.”
 
“The honour is all mine.” Lucien slightly bowed, “Please forgive me for being so direct. I come here largely because of the journal, Arcana. Can I take a look at it first?”
 
“No problem, Professor. Take your time and we can do random discussion first.” Philosopher nodded and slowly handed Lucien a black hardback book. His voice sounded pretty old, “Besides, I heard from Owl that you need a whole set of labwares and I brought them here tonight. I’ll be glad to give them to you as a gift if you can solve a problem for me later.”
 
Lucien didn’t open the book instantly, but carefully checked the cover of the book first.
 
There were a few separate silver lines joining together in the end on the black cover, which formed the word, Arcana, right in the centre. Under the name of the journal, a line of words wrote “Volume 11, the year 392 of Saint Calendar”. There were parchment pages inside it.
 
From the content page, Lucien found there were twenty-four articles in the journal. The first one was Discussion about the Fifth Failure of Finding the New Planets. Lucien felt interested in it and started reading.
 
“The theory of gravitation proposed by Douglas could explain lots of force field spells, even most spells of the Astrology school. Besides, the three laws of planetary motion also derives from that theory, which is of great significance for guiding the field of fortunetelling.
 
“Based on this theory, we have created many new and powerful spells. Thus we can say, if there are two major columns supporting the classical magic system, the theory of gravitation could be valued as the most important foundation for one of the columns — force field study.”
 
……
 
“There is still one question remaining to be demonstrated: The theory of gravitation enables us to figure out many guiding formulas, and thus we know that the continent where we live in also belongs to a planet. The planet keeps rotating and at the same time revolving around the sun, so do the rest of the planets in the sky. Following the formulas mentioned above, we can also locate these planets. 
 
“However, no one, not even the greatest sorcerer or sorceress, ever managed to reach the planets using the most advanced space magic, including me. Even we can calculate the coordinates of them, we can find none of them in the presumed places in space.
 
“When I was trying to cast the advanced space magic, although I could not reach the planet, I could feel the gravity of the target planet from my presupposed transit spot. The planets are there, but at the same time, they are not there.”
 
When Lucien found out that the planets in this world could tell destinies, Lucien was already quite surprised. Now he felt surprised again, and very confused.

In this magic world, knowledge is power.

Two weeks passed, and the day for Jam's group to reach Afrov had finally arrived. Everyone was beyond excited as they all ran around the ship to see what the planet looked like.

As Jam looked outside the window, he could see a very ugly planet in the distance. Unlike Yhamnigh and Earth, which looked green and blue from space, Afrov looked like a dystopian nightmare.

Not only was the planet covered in hurricanes and fire storms, Jam could tell — even from space — that there were several Sage Realm beings fighting, as the shockwaves and aftermath of each of the Sages' attacks could be felt from where Jam was standing.

Upon noticing these very dangerous conditions, Jam left his room and went to ask Cecily how she expected them to survive in that planet. Most of the other core disciples had the same idea, as they also left their rooms to confront Cecily. 

Cecily had already guessed that they would all be asking her about the circumstances of the trip, and had already left her room to talk to all the core disciples in the lounge. When everyone aboard the ship was present in the lounge, Cecily began to explain what they would be doing.

"As all of you know, we left the academy to go to the Titanic Beast Mountain Range. The range is inside of the planet Afrov. However, it's inside a natural pocket dimension, that only Saint Realm beings and below can enter.

As you can see, Afrov is a chaotic planet with no commanding sect. That basically translates to "there being no rules on the planet." We will be going straight to Titanic Beast Mountain range to avoid others.

Also, you guys will have to enter and explore the mountain range by yourselves. I will only take you up to the pocket dimension entrance. Remember, you guys will only have two months in the pocket dimension before I leave."

Everyone had calmed down after hearing that the highest cultivation base allowed in the Titanic Beast Mountain Range was the Saint God Stage.

Cecily navigated the spaceship to enter Afrov. Her spaceship shot through the clouds of a hurricane, a firestorm, a blizzard, and even a tsunami, before reaching a specific part of a barren desert.  There, the spaceship landed on the ground and all the core disciples left the ship. Everyone was rather rattled by all the changes to the environment, so they all took a second to adjust to the "normal" desert.

As Jam looked around, his eyes — even in their base Form — could tell that there was a gigantic pocket dimension less than one hundred meters from where the spaceship landed. When Jam switched his eyes to their Seeking Form, they were momentarily blinded by the intense glow of every single color his eyes could detect; all of them coming from the point of entry into the Titanic Beast Mountain Range.

Jam had never seen this happen back in the Delta Heavy Forest. Even if the pocket dimensions in the forest were gold and contained herbs, he would only see a gold color, and not a gold and green color. Would this "pocket" dimension truly be so large, as to have countless other pocket dimensions sprawled within?

Cecily, now standing directly in front of the pocket dimension, opened a portal for the core disciples to enter; not everyone was like Jam, who could enter and exit pocket dimension with utter ease. She reminded them that they would have to return by the end of the two months, or she would assumed that they had died, and would leave with those that arrived on time.

One by one, the core disciples entered the portal, with Jam being the last person to enter. Before entering the portal, Jam looked around to make sure he knew where he would be entering/leaving from.

Then, Jam entered the portal. After reappearing within the pocket dimension, the first thing Jam noticed, was that he couldn't see any of the other core disciples that had entered before him. Tzatziki told him, "Some of the larger pocket dimension — especially the natural pocket dimensions —  would sometimes transport those entering it to different places."

Jam was confused. If that really was the case, how would they leave the pocket dimension when the time to leave arrived?

Tzatziki said "When the entrance of a pocket dimension transports people to different locations, conversely there will be various points in space that will let people leave. These point will not necessarily be the same one where the cultivator entered from." 

Tzatziki then told Jam to turn around, and said "As you can see, the point in space from where you entered is closed now. This means you'll have to find a different point in space to leave from."

With this newfound knowledge, Jam started his adventure in the Titanic Beast Mountain Range. The first thing he would be doing was to search for opportunities with his eyes in Seeking Form.

Jam only had two months in the pocket dimension, so instead of picking up all the herbs and ores he could find, he would only pick Tier 4 herbs and ores or above. Currently, Jam was in a forest, but he could see ridiculously large mountains in the distance. The forest had tons of spiritual treasures. However, the highest Tier treasure Jam could find was Tier 3.

Jam switched his eyes to Detecting Form, to see what the average cultivation base was in the area, and unsurprisingly, Soul Fusion Demonic Beasts are the kings of the forest. The greater the natural treasures of an area, the stronger the demonic beasts living within that area; this rule was almost universally considered to be truth.

As Jam looked toward the direction of the mountains, he could see very bright glowing lights indicating Saints, and higher tier herbs and ores. Jam wanted to train while he was moving towards the mountains, thus he chose to practice Teleportation.

The rest of the techniques for the Spirit Realm section of the True Gravitational Manipulation technique were: Returning Teleportation, Time Locking, and Targeted Gravitation.

[Returning Teleportation: Marks an area for teleportation. Return teleportation always has hundreds or even thousands of times the range of regular teleportation as calculating for accuracy is unnecessary. Range is determined by the user's insights on the Space Dao's aspect of Shifting.]

[Time Locking: Uses Time Dao insights to replicate Space Locking, to momentarily stop an enemy. The technique's effectiveness is determined by the user's Time Dao insights into Stopping.]

[Targeted Gravitational Amplification: Allows the user to change the gravitational pressure a targeted person or group of people experience. As insights into the Space Dao and Time Dao increase, so too does the range of gravity amplification.]

Jam picked up a rock from the floor and practiced his Time Locking and Targeted Gravitation techniques on it, while he teleported toward the mountains. At the moment, Jam could only teleport a couple feet every time he teleported, so he would have a lot of time to practice his Time Locking and Targeted Gravitation.

Jam's Teleportation, when he started, was very sad to look at. Sometimes he would teleport in the complete opposite direction he intended to go. However, over time, Jam started to accurately travel towards the mountains consistently.

After Jam learned how to teleport in the general direction he intended on going, he worked on improving the range of his teleportation. Still, he looked very clumsy while teleporting as his figure was travelling in a zig-zagging manner. But eventually, Jam started teleporting entire kilometers every time he teleported. 

By the time Jam's teleportation range reached ten kilometers, he had entered a different biome. Jam had escaped from the forest and entered an icy tundra. Jam was now even more aware of how absurdly large the mountains in the distance were, as he could barely tell the difference from how they appeared when he was in the forest and how the mountains looked now.

Jam had never been to a tundra, and even though he vowed to not waste his time collecting worthless Tier 3 and below natural treasures, he wanted to start collecting the resources nearby as there would certainly be rare ice, yin, and water type natural treasures. He convinced himself to stay in the tundra for a while to improve his teleportation, by teleporting to and from natural resources. 

And for a couple hours, Jam started teleporting around the tundra collecting rare herbs and ores. Because he was in a tundra, the ores and herbs Jam collected were mostly of yin or ice nature. Jam could help Rina, Kirin and Evangeline with pills made from these herbs. Or better yet, some of these herbs might be usable with their direct cultivation techniques or martial skills. 

Jam's hypothesis that the closer he got to the mountains, the better the resources and the stronger the monsters, was confirmed when he started seeing Tier 5 herbs and False Saint Demonic Beasts. 

Since Jam wasn't in need of money at the moment and he was also hard pressed for time, he wouldn't start massacring all the demonic beasts that entered his line of sight. But, he had no issue setting the reckless demonic beasts that chased after him, straight; the demonic beasts foolish enough to come looking for a fight with Jam, would end up as his dinner.

Jam collected a couple thousand pieces of herbs and ore before resuming his journey towards the mountains. His teleportation range had not increased during his time collecting natural treasures, however his accuracy had improved dramatically.

The tundra was much larger than the forest, as Jam had teleported several thousand kilometers and had still not seen the end of the tundra. He was even starting to see Saint Masters. Jam wanted to test his strength now that he had reached the intermediate phase of the Soul Fusion Realm, so he teleported to the nearest Saint Master and challenged it to a fight.

Jam ended the fight very quickly, not even needing to use Spirit Realm core section skills of his various skills. Jam didn't kill the Saint Master he fought, as he didn't see the need to be cruel for the sake of being cruel, and just left.

After his fight with the Saint Master, Jam began teleporting again, and after several hours, Jam finally saw the end of the tundra. After the tundra there was a valley; a thunder valley.

Follow the adventures of a boy named Jam on his journey to gain a purpose. Thrust onto the world of cultivation because of the silly encouragement of his foster grandmother and his ridiculously one-track-minded self, Jam's adventure is bound to be full of action, comedy, and self discovery. Hopefully, his stupidity will be cured before it affects his life too badly.
