What did being a celebrity have to do with being suitable for military service on a spaceship? Fang Zhao's records were indeed clean, but he was still considered a celebrity, and the two spaceships were unwilling to accept his application.
Great-Grandfather Fang sat in silence for awhile then suggested to Fang Zhao, "How about applying one more time?"
Fang Zhao felt a sense of regret that he was unable to get on the Arcturus or Formalhaut, but since their internal department had such unwritten rules, he would also not try and force his way in. Thus, Fang Zhao decided to select somewhere else. "No need, I will just apply for the third most difficult military service program."
The two old Fangs gathered around the screen. "You have decided to pick the third-ranked one? What is it?"
"Mining," Fang Zhao replied.
"Mining? That's no good. It's too remote, and the environment and climate are both horrendous. If you pick mining, why not let the military automatically assign you? Odds are you will be assigned to a planet for mining or to construction for a planet's base. That is more likely." Great-Grandfather Fang felt that this was not suitable. According to him, since Fang Zhao could not enter the two military service programs he had hoped for, all other programs were not very different. In any case, if it was not mining, it would be expanding and constructing bases for the future of humanity. Whether it was near or far from Earth was no different, so rather than heading to a far and remote place to mine, settling for the automatic assignment would be better.
But Fang Zhao's thinking was different. He had chosen that program not because it was ranked third for difficulty but because, among all the planets that had started development, this was the furthest one from Earth.
Fang Zhao wanted to see for himself how far humanity had progressed in these 500 years. Not counting space travel, only places where they had genuinely taken root, began construction, and stepped foot on.
Without hesitation, Fang Zhao submitted an application for this military service program. Unlike the previous two, this application received a reply very quickly, and the reply this time was not "rejected," but "approved."
However, "approved" did not mean that Fang Zhao had gotten in. He still needed to submit the results of a physical examination. Fang Zhao would need to head to an appointed hospital for a medical.
This medical was not the commonly seen kind. Rather, it was an examination to check whether the applicant's constitution could withstand long-haul space travel. The appointed hospital was in Qi'an City's military district.
Over at the hospital, those in charge of the medicals were gathered together and gossiping about the latest entertainment news.
Normally, the place was quite empty, so those on duty were not old doctors. Experienced old doctors were always very busy. Those that remained here were some interns from medical college or a few youngsters that had just started the job. In any case, most people that came here for a medical were applicants for military service programs or were about to serve. All they needed to do here was operate the machines and run tests on the applications.
As these few people were talking animatedly, they received a notification.
"Someone actually voluntarily applied. The preliminary application has gone through, and the person should be coming for a medical during these next two days. Oh, it is planet Baiji. He probably did not think things through!"
"I reckon it's another idiot who applied in the spur of the moment."
The youngster closest to the door stared ahead blankly and lifted his arm to tap at his colleagues who were still talking. "...The idiot you guys were talking about has arrived."
Fang Zhao walked in wearing a cap that was pushed low. When he got here, there were no other idle people around, so he took off his cap.
Fang Zhao looked at the door number while asking, "Is this the medical center for military service personnel?"
"Yes... yes, yes! This is the place!"
"Are you Fang... Fang... Fang Zhao?"
"You are the one who applied for planet Baiji?"
Fang Zhao nodded his head. "That's me."
"...This way, please."
The few youngsters led Fang Zhao in and began operating the machines and examining Fang Zhao. At the same time, their hearts were screaming violently: Why is it Fang Zhao?! Baiji Planet! This choice surprised many. Lot's of people thought that Fang Zhao had gone mad and guessed that he probably had an ulterior motive. However, the approval letter had already been screenshotted. It could not have been faked.
Compared to Fang Zhao's fans, those from other e-sports clubs and entertainment companies collectively relaxed their weary hearts. Once Fang Zhao was gone, at least within the next year, there would not be any hot topics regarding him. Silver Wing's influence in the gaming circles would definitely drop as well.

A Ukrainian Boeing-737 with more than 170 people onboard has crashed in Iran, according to local media.
Iran's Red Crescent said there is no chance of finding survivors.
The aircraft belonging to Ukraine International Airlines crashed just after take-off from Iran's Imam Khomeini airport in Tehran, said the Fars state news agency.
Preliminary reports suggest that the plane was en route to the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.
It is unclear whether the incident is linked to the Iran-US confrontation.
Rescue teams have been sent to the area, near the airport, where the aircraft crashed.
The head of Iran's Red Crescent told state media that it was "impossible" for anyone to have survived the crash.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said efforts were being made to establish the circumstances of the crash and the death toll.
"My sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of all passengers and crew," he said in a statement.
Mr Zelensky was cutting short a visit to Oman and returning to Kyiv, the statement said.

We'll focus on and discuss how the modules of Spring, like MVC and Security, differ when used in core Spring versus when used with Boot.

2. What Is Spring?
 
Simply put, the Spring framework provides comprehensive infrastructure support for developing Java applications.
It's packed with some nice features like Dependency Injection and out of the box modules like:
Spring JDBC
Spring MVC
Spring Security
Spring AOP
Spring ORM
Spring Test
These modules can drastically reduce the development time of an application.
For example, in the early days of Java web development, we needed to write a lot of boilerplate code to insert a record into a data source. But by using the JDBCTemplate of the Spring JDBC module we can reduce it to a few lines of code with only a few configurations.
3. What Is Spring Boot?
 
Spring Boot is basically an extension of the Spring framework which eliminated the boilerplate configurations required for setting up a Spring application.
It takes an opinionated view of the Spring platform which paved the way for a faster and more efficient development eco-system.
Here are just a few of the features in Spring Boot:

But in Spring Boot, we only need the starter dependency for testing to automatically include these libraries.
Spring Boot provides a number of starter dependencies for different Spring modules. Some of the most commonly used ones are:

5. MVC Configuration
 
Let's explore the configuration required to create a JSP web application using both Spring and Spring Boot.
Spring requires defining the dispatcher servlet, mappings, and other supporting configurations. We can do this using either the web.xml file or an Initializer class:

All the Spring configuration above is automatically included by adding the Boot web starter, through a process called auto-configuration.
What this means is that Spring Boot will look at the dependencies, properties, and beans that exist in the application and enable configuration based on these.
Of course, if we want to add our own custom configuration, then the Spring Boot auto-configuration will back away.
5.1. Configuring Template Engine
 
Let's now learn how to configure a Thymeleaf template engine in both Spring and Spring Boot.
In Spring we need to add the thymeleaf-spring5 dependency and some configurations for the view resolver:

Spring Boot 1 required only the dependency of spring-boot-starter-thymeleaf to enable Thymeleaf support in a web application. But because of the new features in Thymeleaf3.0, we have to add thymeleaf-layout-dialect also as a dependency in a Spring Boot 2 web application.
Once the dependencies are in place, we can add the templates to the src/main/resources/templates folder and the Spring Boot will display them automatically.
6. Spring Security Configuration
 
For the sake of simplicity, we'll see how the default HTTP Basic authentication is enabled using these frameworks.
Let's start by looking at the dependencies and configuration we need to enable Security using Spring.
Spring requires both the standard the spring-security-web and spring-security-config dependencies to set up Security in an application.
Next, we need to add a class that extends the WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter and makes use of the @EnableWebSecurity annotation:

Similarly, Spring Boot also requires these dependencies to make it work. But we need to define only the dependency of spring-boot-starter-security as this will automatically add all the relevant dependencies to the classpath.

7. Application Bootstrap
 
The basic difference in bootstrapping of an application in Spring and Spring Boot lies with the servlet. Spring uses either the web.xml or SpringServletContainerInitializer as its bootstrap entry point.
On the other hand, Spring Boot uses only Servlet 3 features to bootstrap an application. Let' talk about this in detail.
7.1. How Spring Bootstraps?
 
Spring supports both the legacy web.xml way of bootstrapping as well as the latest Servlet 3+ method.
Let's see the web.xml approach in steps:
Servlet container (the server) reads web.xml
The DispatcherServlet defined in the web.xml is instantiated by the container
DispatcherServlet creates WebApplicationContext by reading WEB-INF/{servletName}-servlet.xml
Finally, the DispatcherServlet registers the beans defined in the application context
Here's how Spring bootstraps using Servlet 3+ approach:
The container searches for classes implementing ServletContainerInitializer  and executes
The SpringServletContainerInitializer finds all classes implementing WebApplicationInitializer
The WebApplicationInitializer creates the context with XML or @Configuration classes
The WebApplicationInitializer creates the DispatcherServlet with the previously created context.
7.2. How Spring Boot Bootstraps?
 
The entry point of a Spring Boot application is the class which is annotated with @SpringBootApplication:

By default, Spring Boot uses an embedded container to run the application. In this case, Spring Boot uses the public static void main entry-point to launch an embedded web server.
Also, it takes care of the binding of the Servlet, Filter, and ServletContextInitializer beans from the application context to the embedded servlet container.
Another feature of Spring Boot is that it automatically scans all the classes in the same package or sub packages of Main-class for components.
Spring Boot provides the option of deploying it as a web archive in an external container as well. In this case, we have to extend the SpringBootServletInitializer:

Here the external servlet container looks for the Main-class defined in the META-INF file of the web archive and the SpringBootServletInitializer will take care of binding the Servlet, Filter, and ServletContextInitializer.
8. Packaging and Deployment
 
Finally, let's see how an application can be packaged and deployed. Both of these frameworks support the common package managing technologies like Maven and Gradle. But when it comes to deployment, these frameworks differ a lot.
For instance, the Spring Boot Maven Plugin provides Spring Boot support in Maven. It also allows packaging executable jar or war archives and running an application "in-place".
Some of the advantages of Spring Boot over Spring in the context of deployment include:
Provides embedded container support
Provision to run the jars independently using the command java -jar
Option to exclude dependencies to avoid potential jar conflicts when deploying in an external container
Option to specify active profiles when deploying
Random port generation for integration tests
9. Conclusion
 
In this tutorial, we've learned about the differences between Spring and Spring Boot.
In a few words, we can say that the Spring Boot is simply an extension of Spring itself to make the development, testing, and deployment more convenient.

In my work, as a attendant of computer shop, it's expected that the application for giving the time for the players, or for the people who wants to rent a computer, are so damn  accurate, and for the sales too, of course why would the owner use it if it's not accurate, no?

I'm considered a senior here, and there are juniors too and it's newbies for me. There are two shops, which are printing shop and computer shop or internet cafe for the other countries, as a senior I'm attendant at the printing shop because it's the most populated than the internet cafe, and it's harder than being attendant at the computer shop.

And expected that I know exactly the thing or two in both shops. No matter what it is.

Now, this newbie started working here at july, since it's november now. I expected her to be that trustworthy. I won't check the picture that much (screen shots) and only the place where the total of sales should be in, of course, the timer(application that responsible for giving time and calculating the sales) and I will only double check the calculation of sales with deducting her daily wages from it. 

Now she's working here that long, almost six months now. She had some minor mistakes here and there, and of course as a senior. I need to be strict and be soft for her at the same time, as she's only a human that can make mistakes too. And those mistakes are only minor, yes. But I need to cover for it, by my own wage. I told you the application is accurate. So I can't falsify it, of course not all the time I will cover for her. She had that responsibility as attendant to check the sales too right? 

But today, and because of the another attendant that will be in the night shift noticed that something is wrong with the picture (screen shot) where the opposite side of the sales in it. The time range was 6:00 - 18:00, that's 12 hours. But what he did noticed was, the listed time in the middle part had 18:02. The time which the player log out from using the computer, which shouldn't be there.

I was confused, why is that? Because first of all and the most important thing. We need to refresh (there's a refresh button in the application) the application so the 'time's that out of the range will not be included in the list, that's how it will work to accurately calculate the sales within the time range, right? 

Of course, I thought her too about that thing. And she's using it from the day she started too! 

But when I made the attendant for the night shift to trace back her all end reports and compare it to the time range of that day in the application records, was unexpectedly went shiit. 

Because something went wrong at the computer shop, it need to be repaired, I mean all the things will go back from the start even the records within the application, it happened at october 25, so it still new.

So, because of that, we can only trace back the total lost of sales of the shop at 16$, that should be around that, if converted. And that's a lot with 10 days of her work days started from october 30. The wages here is only 3$ per day, if I calculated right. 

We can only trace the day when she started doing that at first week of september, because at the picture of her end report are 6:00 -18:00 time range that have a 'time' recorded at 18:53, time of player's log out. 

The fuck is that!? It shattered my trust for her. Fuck! I'd been lenient for her and other attendant, but compared to others, she had the most mistakes that I covered up from not knowing by the owner. It is wrong to trust your co-worker? I shouldn't been relax for not checking the end report seriously. The lost of money isn't what I concerned about, it's the trust that I gave her all this time. For all the things that will be falsified with techniques, (screen shots) with her weird shiit technique, are the goddamn sales of renting the computer. The application that we are using are accurate once it was refresh. But she didn't. That's her technique. She thought that having a out of range time in the picture will make her confident that it will not be noticed. Yes, didn't noticed if the person was not that serious looking at it. Even the owner didn't noticed it! She's awesome but not this shiit! 

But she was unexpectedly a moron for what was the real meaning of 'time range'. She is using that time range without knowing why! All she knows that she need to change the time range for the night shift. But she won't refresh it, so it will looks like she did refresh. Fucking moron! I trusted a fucking moron! It made me look like the most moron here for trusting a fucking idiot! And what was the most incredulous here was, she's sticking to her reason, that she didn't do anything at all! That she's innocent! It's the timer's fault, indirectly saying I'm a fucking blind!? What about owner's then? She still going on on her reasons, wow!

I wish for the fact that, if the computer was given a life and free too move. It will her slap her with her end reports! What the fuck!? It made my day so bad!

I was typing my next chapter and suddenly I will receive the news. 

And what was the most unbelievable thing. 'I already said sorry and talked with the owner. And he forgave me. Gave me a second chance. So please stop telling me I'm wrong, lecturing me for what is right, while using that tone.' She did said that to me! So fucking wow!

And for the goddamn sake! She's a lesbian! I'm noting telling all of lesbian here are like her. I'm pointing a point here that, I wasn't mesmerized by her beauty, because I didn't feel a thing in the first place. So you guys can't tell me that I covered for her because of 'beauty'. My hands are up. I'm free of guilt at that thing or related to that thing for why I helped her. I did that too for my co-workers, that a newbies too.

But still, it made my day so 'WoW!' I want to use violence really, I'm serious. But I can't, I don't need more problems but the rage that I'm feeling is too much. Fuck! So fucking unbelievable!

I just want to share because I need to use something to make me calm down.

That morning, Delilah decided to relax a bit while reading some reports. Luckily for her, her tasks at that time does not require her to write so many reports, compared to her other colleagues. Rather, she only has to read a couple of reports, write a small note about it and send it off to the top management.

She was munching on some potato chips while reading the report. Using her pinkie finger, she turned each page of the report while being careful not to leave a stain on the paper. The report she was reading was on Deegan's final thesis in his university. Apparently, he was in his final semester, doing his final year. He had sent a copy of his thesis where he wrote about the workplace environment in the Kang's Company. The reason as to why he sent his report was to let Delilah check on the contents, to ensure that there was no confidential information being used in the report.

'So far, so good,' she thought as she grabbed a wet tissue from her tissue pack and wipe her fingers clean. With her eyes still on the report, skimming through the words, she also made some notes, pinpointing on his grammar mistakes and all. Yes, she was being a 'grammar nazi' [1] but she could not help it. She likes to read smoothly without wincing. Again, not to say that she has a perfect grasp of English.

Moving on, she was writing some tips on what to add in the report and whatnot when her mobile phone on the table let out a beeping noise. She looked over and saw that it was a text message from Amy. Reading the message, Amy was asking whether she was in the office at the moment. 

Feeling perplexed as to why she was asking, Delilah just shot a quick reply, 'Yes', before she continued reading the report. 

'Okay. I'll be there after lunch,' came the reply.

Delilah picked up her phone and started to answer again. 'How about we have lunch together before you come into the office?' she asked.

'That would be perfect! Where shall we eat?'

'I don't know. Up to you.'

'I'm good with any.'

'Me too. I don't have any cravings.'

'So do I. So, where do you want to eat?'

'Anything that isn't heavy or light would be good.'

'Something medium? What kind of medium you're talking here?'

'I don't know. What medium are you thinking of?'

Suddenly, her phone went silent. It seems like Amy had stopped texting. Probably a work has caught her or something. 

Just as Delilah was about to put down her phone, it beeped again with a notification. Looking down, she saw Amy's reply.

'Seriously, sister. We're never going to be able to pick a place at this rate. So, pick one, bish!'

Delilah laughed at how Amy changed from 'sister' to 'bish'. Seems like she was getting annoyed with all the indecisiveness.

Delilah quickly texted back, saying, 'I do feel like eating some beef noodles. I'm having my period right now.' She remembered how painful it had been when she first had her period that month. She was late for a week and it was worrisome. And when her period came, it hurt so bad that she nearly asked for a medical leave, just to rest at home. 

She did ask one of her friends in discordance. And stitch did mentioned that the pain was probably from the lack of iron. Being poor in Science subjects, Delilah asked again what kind of food does she need to eat when it comes to iron. 

Stitch suggested a lot of foods but what caught Delilah's attention was when she said, meat. 

'Meat as in beef?' Delilah had asked that day. 

'Yes, beef.'

Hence, Delilah thought that maybe it was a good idea to eat beef. And seeing that day was a chilly day since it had just rained the previous night, it would be great if she eats beef soup. And she has just the right food to eat. 

'Beef noodle?' Amy asked in the text message. 

'Yeah, beef noodles. To be precise, let's eat beef pho noodles.' 

'Sure. We can go to the one that's near to the HQ.' 

'Great. I'll see you later then.' 

'Sure. Bye, bish.' 

After that, Delilah continued reviewing Deegan's report, putting lots of sticky notes on the paper. He actually sent to her in softcopy. But sometimes, when it comes to this, it's more fun and easier to have these papers in hardcopy. Delilah preferred to highlight the corrections and write in notes when it comes to report. It has been that way since she was studying years back. 

Once she was done, she slides the report in a large brown envelope and put a note on top of it. And then she went down to the reception area and talked to Bella. She told her that she will be leaving the envelope for Deegan to pick it up from here. 

Bella nodded. 

Delilah thanked Bella with a smile and returned back to her cubicle. 

At her cubicle, she began to do her other tasks which was to cross-check the attendance and so forth since it was nearly the end of the month. She needed to do this so that she can send her findings to the Finance department. 

It was fifteen minutes before the clock hits 12 PM on the dot. And Delilah was already preparing to go and have lunch with Amy. She had already told Aubree beforehand that she will be leaving for lunch early. Aubree had nodded her approval. Usually she would join them but then she had other plans. 

Few minutes later, Delilah arrived at the restaurant. Surprisingly, the traffic wasn't as heavy as she thought it would be. Especially during lunch times. She even managed to score a parking spot in front of the restaurant. 

Delilah shot a quick message to Amy to inform her that she has arrived. Seeing that there was no reply from Amy, she assumed that she was probably on her way. 

She then decided to wait inside the restaurant. 

Inside, the restaurant was quite quaint with many Vietnamese home decor adorning the walls of the restaurant. The chairs and tables were made of wood, or to be precise, made to look like it was made of rattan [2]. It has that comfy and homey feeling when one stepped into the restaurant. Especially when the smell of the Vietnamese coffee hits your nose. 

Delilah sat at one of the tables and began to read the menu, which was placed on the table. Just as she was about to place her order, Amy walked into the restaurant. 

With a huge smile on her face, she walked over to Delilah and sat down across her. A quick look over the menu, she too had chosen what she wanted to eat. 

Similarly with Delilah, the two women had ordered beef pho noodles. Though, Delilah had ordered with an extra beef strips and tendons, whereas Amy only ordered with beef balls. 

While waiting for their meal to arrive, they have a nice chat, laughing and talking. 

Their food came quickly as soon as it was ordered. When her beef pho was placed in front of her, Delilah could smell the earthy aroma of the pho. She could even smell other spices such as star anise, which was a bit smokey. As she sips on the broth, she loved how rich the savory dept it has. The beef itself was sliced thinly. Although, it doesn't add much to the beef flavour but it still has that chewy texture. Instead, it was the beef tendon that gave out the almost sweet and chewy flavour. Added with the beef balls, it was tender and meaty. 

The noodles used in beef pho noodles was rice noodles. It also doesn't add much to the pho flavour but it tasted silky and smooth when bitten in it. Additionally, it was less starchy and less chewy, compared to the other noodles. 

As the two women enjoyed their pho, Amy suddenly stopped eating as she abruptly put her chopsticks down. 

Startled, Delilah looked up and asked why. 

"I forgot to ask you whether you have seen Matt the past few days?" Amy asked. 

Delilah tapped on her chin, as she tried to remember. "If I'm not mistaken, he did visit the office a few days ago. He mentioned that he will be out of the country for a couple of days."

"I knew it!" 

"What's wrong?" Delilah asked, looking confused. 

"It's like this…" 

Amy began to tell Delilah about what has been happening in the other branch. The things that she told her made Delilah's eyebrows raise in surprise.
