Ages ago, there was a time when the size of the Earth was the size of milky way, full of vitality and energy. But greed caused the world to split apart and reduce to size of the present.

Blue, a 25 year old army man in today's Earth suddenly decides to retire when he sees his brother's locket and listens to his recorded diary. 

Determined to find his brother he sets of on a  journey to find his brother.

Yuan Zhou wasn't exactly a germophobe, but the food cooked by chefs were meant to be eaten. He could not be "clean enough" or "just nice" when dealing with the cleanliness of food. Therefore, even after the system's automated cleaning, he would still manually clean his kitchen.
The system did not have anything to say about this. In fact, the system approved of this behavior. Therefore, the reply Yuan Zhou gave the middle-aged man was truly what he had in mind.
But from the middle-aged man's point of view… Dirty… Dirty? Where? He must be pretending.
The middle-aged man was completely speechless.
"The staircase is somewhat narrow. Be careful when going up."
Yuan Zhou promptly said while pointing at the stairs when he saw that Carpenter Lian was on the verge of giving his disciples another lecture. 
Yuan Zhou had been to Carpenter Lian's store two times. He was well aware of how fierce Carpenter Lian was when he was scolding someone. Moreover, he would even spend a lot of time on it.
More importantly, Yuan Zhou was somewhat embarrassed to be used as a positive example when others were being scolded.
"You can always do that behind my back. I honestly don't mind being used as a role model," Yuan Zhou muttered inwardly.
"Don't worry. The staircase is sloped decently. It is decently designed," said Carpenter Lian. He was knowledgeable in the aspects of carpentry and knew even about staircase designs. 
The three did not take long to climb the stairs. When they reached upstairs, Yuan Zhou brought them to his room. His room was naturally as clean as ever.
"I am planning to place the cabinet under the window, right there," Yuan Zhou said as he pointed at the empty space of about 1.2 meters tall below the window.
"Are you storing books or something else in this cabinet?" Carpenter Lian asked while he surveyed the spot.
And when Carpenter Lian asked that, Yuan Zhou recalled the boxing gloves. With a mild tone, he spoke, "I'm storing some valuable items. I hope to have a cabinet I can properly preserve those items."
"How big do you need the cabinet to be?" Carpenter Lian asked.
"As big as possible. I am hoping to use it as a storage in the future," Yuan Zhou said.
"No problem. Give me the ruler," said Carpenter Lian after nodding his head. Clearly, he was preparing to take some measurements for the cabinet.
In truth, Yuan Zhou was planning to use this cabinet to store the items gifted to him by his customers. For example, the protective talisman the granny gave him. It did not seem proper to leave those gifts on the shelf. After all, those were items they had given him out of kindness.
While Carpenter Lian started measuring, Yuan Zhou watched on seriously, waiting to see if there was anything he could help.
"90 centimeters wide, note that down," said Carpenter Lian as he measured.
In truth, the way Carpenter Lian measured was quite interesting. His ruler had barely been placed when he would say the measurements already. At the speed he was doing it, a normal person wouldn't have the chance to see the measurements yet.
But since Carpenter Lian was already voicing the measurements, it was clear that he already had an estimation of the measurements just by eyeballing it. The ruler was only there to confirm that he was right.
In less than five minutes, Carpenter Lian was done.
During the five minutes, not only had he measured the size of the cabinet space and the room, he had even taken the measurements of the cupboard by the side and the bed. He was probably trying to build a cabinet at a size that would harmonize with the entire room.
"I'm done. I will deliver you the cabinet in half a month," said Carpenter Lian.
"Ok. Thank you," Yuan Zhou nodded.
"Alright. Don't bother saying any polite words. We will be leaving now," said Carpenter Lian after passing his tools over to the middle-aged man and started heading downstairs.
"Please stay for lunch," Yuan Zhou offered.
"It's fine. We still have something else to do," said Carpenter Lian with a wave of his hand.
"Alright. Remember to stay for a meal next time," Yuan Zhou offered instead.
"I will definitely grab a meal here when I deliver the cabinet," Carpenter Lian nodded.
"Travel safe," Yuan Zhou said.
"Ok. You don't have to send us off. Your customers are already waiting in line," Carpenter Lian said as he pointed at Wu Hai.
"Um, thank you," Yuan Zhou nodded and stood at the door as he watched them leave.
"Master," after some distance away, the middle-aged man called out at his master.
"In a month, make a pseudo-classical eight people table with mortise and tenon joints, the eight chairs included as well. That will be your practice," said Carpenter Lian.
"Yes, master," the middle-aged man agreed with a bitter expression. He did not dare to say anything else and nodded repeatedly.
He started regretting his words and actions earlier due to his dissatisfaction. A set of pseudo-classical eight people table with mortise and tenon joints in a month would probably cost him a sleepless month.
But he did not dare to say anything. Carpenter Lian had obviously seen through what he was doing earlier. This was his form of punishment.
"Compass, did you make something delicious earlier?" Wu Hai eyed Yuan Zhou suspiciously before looking at the two leaving carpenters.
"Huh?" Yuan Zhou could not understand Wu Hai's logic.
Why would Wu Hai automatically assume anyone walking out of the restaurant to be people who had just eaten in it?
Sniff. Sniff.
Wu Hai stepped forward and sniffed Yuan Zhou's body before speaking.
"No smell of food. Are they here for a renovation? Compass, you're renovating your place?" Wu Hai asked in astonishment.
"How did you even reach that conclusion?" Yuan Zhou could not even be bothered to explain. He was more curious about Wu Hai's thought process.
"The two are dressed in simple clothings that are durable yet dirty. One of them is holding a wooden chest. They both have rough hands, and it is clear they do heavy jobs for a living. They are also wearing sneakers that are convenient to move around with. It is obvious they are working in the renovation industry," Wu Hai explained while rubbing his mustache. 
Yuan Zhou was rendered speechless by how confident Wu Hai seemed.
"They are actually carpenters. Have you been reading too many mystery novels recently?" Yuan Zhou asked.
"No way. I'm reading Gu Long's books. Recently, people are telling me I look like Lu Xiaofeng," said Wu Hai smugly.
"Hoho," Yuan Zhou turned and returned to the restaurant. He wanted to ask Wu Hai if he could, with a good conscience, claim that he truly looked like Lu Xiaofeng. 
Yuan Zhou decided to leave as he was scared that if he stayed, he would have the urge to split Wu Hai's skull to see what his brain was made of.
"Do you think I look like him, Compass?" Wu Hai asked shamelessly.
Yuan Zhou thought that the topic would end if he ignored Wu Hai. Normal people would indeed stop there, but Wu Hai had continued it instead.
"He is not this shameless," Yuan Zhou said seriously.
"I am merely being honest. Whenever I eat, I am a person of honor," Wu Hai said seriously.
Not even Yuan Zhou could say anything to this. He started focusing on cleaning his kitchen and preparing for lunchtime.
"Since Compass is busy cooking, I should ask the others in the chat group instead," Wu Hai muttered as he took out his phone and started bothering others. When there were no outsiders, Wu Hai would call Yuan Zhou Compass, but when there were outsiders around, he would address him as Boss Yuan instead. In a way, he was rather respectful of Yuan Zhou.
Meanwhile, an incident happened at the opening ceremony attended by Shaquille O'Neal, causing all the reporters in Chengdu to be on a hunt for him.


In a remote oriental country, there is a small and odd restaurant that has refused the three-star rating by the Michelin Guide several times. 
“The price is fairly expensive over there, 288RMB for a set meal of Egg Fried Rice and a bowl of soup. Ah, and an extra small plate of pickled vegetables as well. Even so, there are still a long line of people queuing up and waiting for a taste. Reservations are not accepted there, only waiting and queuing personally is allowed. 
“Numerous people fly there on their private planes just to queue up. Furthermore, parking bays and parking spots are not provided there. The service is terrible here. Customers have to clear the tableware themselves and wipe the table as well. For god’s sake, the boss is literally crazy.”

Ronjon went back to work and left the three. The elder let her try mixing her own spices. She showed the old man her first mix. Abhik just took a short sniff and cringed, throwing everything to the garbage.

"How do you know it wasn't good?"

"Sometimes you can tell just by smelling. You added a lot of cumin and cinnamon, it will dominate the rest and it won't be good. Don't forget, use cumin sparingly, add just enough cinnamon. You forgot what I said when we were in the spice shop."

"Sorry, it was sudden. I think I need to make notes." However, she was in awe that he could tell and predict the outcome simply as that.

Abhik dismissed her with a wave of his hand. "Never mind, focus on enhancing your sense of smell and taste. Don't be in a hurry, you'll get the hang of it. Through this training, you can mix and match to make your very own unique tasting dish, totally yours and won't easily be copied, even with a great cook as that French Babu."

"Is measuring really that bad?" 

"A man who measures life never knows his own measure."

"What?"

"Haha, don't get carried away. I just read that in a Chinese restaurant's fortune cookie. Measuring isn't that bad but 'guesstimate' first to take away the old habit. When you're proficient enough then you'll be able to make your own recipe. Then you can jot down the measurements if you wish."

"Oh, I get it." Asha nodded smilingly for gaining wisdom.

"You see recipes are too limited, I prefer to improvise." He started chopping onions, garlic, green chilies, and others. "Taste each of these later."

She cringed looking at the spices. "Do I have to? By the way, what if people don't want an improvised dish?"

"People don't know what they want. They know what they've seen and tasted. Show them something new, but tested by you first. The people will complain if it's really unsatisfactory. If it's good then all you'll hear would be praises. I know this by experience. Just remember this, all you need is this ...," he pointed his temple, "this ...," his heart, "and this ...," his belly.

She nodded. Abhik continued, "If you only use your brain, everything will be intellectual. And the people will feel it from your food. Cooking is an art and full of your emotions as the artist. Without emotion, then it's plain bland food."

"Ohh," She nodded as she recalled her father's same words.

"About these chopped spices, you must taste them. Just a bite ... and compare it to a cooked one. This way you can match a raw one with some of your dishes." He saw the quizzical look on her face. "Oh, you haven't tasted the odd dishes by foreign cuisines. You'll be amazed when you try one. Raw with cooked and cooked with raw, palatable and perfect pair in every way." He sent a kiss to the air with closed eyes and blissful face.
 
She cringed again for she couldn't imagine eating raw meat. The school and her father taught her that. Her expression was laid open to her mentor. He smiled at her. "Ask your lover Ronjon and he will show you those dishes if you ask him."

Asha's heart jumped to hear 'your lover Ronjon'. She waved her palms at him. "No, no, we're just friends."

Monojit reacted as well. "Hey! Chacha, don't mistake that guy as her lover. I'm the one who's supposed to be her betrothed. Not him." His voice was louder than usual.

Somehow, the old man didn't care. "Then why did you agree to live here without any lady companion?"

The two realized something for the first time. "Ronjon said his Ma and sister live here but I noticed now that they're not here since we came," Monojit said.

Asha was dumbfounded. She had no idea how to refute the old man for what he said was right. Then they heard the door opened then heavy and slow footsteps walking toward them. They saw a fat woman in her forties approached with an eight-year-old girl in tow.

"Excuse me, I'm Mashi Lota and this is my daughter Roma. I'm Sir Ronjon's housekeeper. And you must be Madame Asha." She placed a palm to her chest as a greeting to Asha, signifying she was a Christian. 

"Hi, Mashi Lota, glad to meet you." Asha did the same action in response with a smile. 

The woman added, "And you must be Sir Monojit and Saheb Abhik. Forgive me for interrupting. Excuse me." She left them for her chores.

Monojit just grinned foolishly and raised his hand while Abhik just nodded his head. The topic was left hanging.

The old man Abhik went home and left her with an assignment to come up with her mixtures. Asha spent the rest of the day playing with the spices until her tongue got numbed. 
. . . . .

When Ronjon came back later that night.

"By the way, I didn't see your Ma and sister since I came here." Asha opened the topic as Ronjon joined them.

"They will come back tomorrow morning. Sorry, I just received a note that they left for a wedding in the village so they were not able to welcome you." He rested his tired body on the sofa.

"What? And you'll let Asha sleep here without any other woman staying?" Monojit's anxiety swirled around him. 

"Calm down, that won't happen. I asked Mashi Lota to sleep here tonight and until Ma and sis come back." So everything was settled.

Later, Mashi Lota brought Asha to her room and lighted the vintage oil lamp on a desk beside the bed. 

"Sleep well, Madame. My daughter and I will be sleeping next door. Just ring this bell if you need help." She showed the guest the string attached at the bed canopy with a bell on top. 

"Thank you, Mashi," Asha said as the helper closed the door. She looked around the room. It was big and the design was not the usual Bengali room. It had french windows. A white see-through mosquito net was attached on the canopy enclosing the whole bed. She slid in and was delighted to see a cozy queen size bed with flowery pastel pink comforter covering it.

She uncovered the bed and the fragrant smell of rose assailed her nostril. Her smile widened when she saw pink silk-covered pillows and a red rose with a folded note on it. She opened the note.

[Dear Asha,

I love you. I'll wait for you when you're ready.

Loving you always,

Ronjon]

Asha is now on the brink of helplessness and despair. Would she let despair to chase her for the rest of her life? Thus, she faces the man who wanted her dead and to stand as a woman in the world of chefs. 

She will create her own dishes and make his father's recipes alive again. Her adventures lead to clues of the real killer of his father and get entangles with love. 

Somehow, when she is face to face with the murderer, will she forgive or not? The Recipe of Love will show her the right decision to make.

This is a story of a girl in her journey to become a lady chef while in life-threatening situations and falls in love. So, don't expect a fast pace cooking battles. It is Asha's journey.

The setting of the story is India before its Independence in 1947. The exact timeline is 1945. However, in the first part of the story, I didn't use during the British occupation since the places/villages I mentioned do not exist in the present country. I used Bangla words since the culture is more on present Bangladesh. 

This is absolutely a fiction story.

If you have questions about the culture, please ask me in the comment and I'll try to explain things to you. I can't write the culture within the story for that will bore you to death. Most are written in the Author's Thoughts.

"I see everyone agrees this gown looked divine," Olivia mused, wiggling her brows towards Eli. "Of course, as expected from the House of Eli." 

She waved the gown up in the air, the skirt swayed and rustled on the wooden floor before she found her way towards her bedroom to try it on. 

For years, Eli filled her wardrobe with his creations, from simple ensembles to evening gowns and this piece was by far one that screamed 'Olivia'. She knew the size would fit her like a glove for Eli knew her measurements well even with his eyes closed but she wanted to see for herself if the gown would speak to her while she's wearing it.

In the living room, Eli took a sip of his tea, his face full of arrogance over the success of sleepless nights sketching and wandering around the metro for inspiration. 

Ever since he started his brand, he concentrated on minimalist designs. Less is more, they said. So House of Eli focused on the wearer rather than the bling of the piece. Perhaps it was one of the reasons why Olivia would always wear whatever he sends her way that after some time she became his lifetime muse and ultimately creating pieces for strong independent women like Olivia.

Inside the en suite, Olivia tried the gown on in the bathroom while Maxen tied his shoes as he sat on the edge of the bed. 

The pitter-patter of footsteps on the wooden floor stole Maxen's attention, lifting his head whilst his hands tug the shoelaces.

"How do I look, Your Highness?" She twirled and crossed one leg over to curtsy while a goofy smile painted her face. She knew Maxen would go nuts once he sees her.

True to her intuition, facing her, Maxen clipped his chin and raised a brow over the high slit that revealed her caramel thigh. 

He dropped the shoelaces in his hands and gave her a once over with his arms crossed over his chest, nodding and drinking her image and form. 

The air of sophistication swirled around her, and he knew how she would spellbind any soul who would lay their eyes on her. Maxen brushed his thick brows to relieve himself from his raging dark thoughts that haze his mind. 

Although Olivia looked smoking hot that he wanted to rip the gown off her, Maxen knew which one to prioritize and that was to question if she's serious about her gown. They once fought about her style preference and he didn't want to have the same argument ever.

Entranced, Maxen stood up and ran his free finger under the strap of the corset top that hugged her frame which gave her bust a good lift, itching to tug it off. And after mustering up the last ounce of his tolerance, he took a sharp breath, exhaling through his mouth.

"You're wearing a green gown. What more if you're wearing a red one? I might have to put a leash on you or something."

"Ha! The person who needs a leash in this room is not me but you. Need I remind you of what happened in the elevator?" 

"Oooh. Would you mind narrating what transpired in the lift? You see, I tend to forget irrelevant things," Maxen countered as he caged Olivia in his embrace and kissed her temple. "And I should be the one reeking with jealousy, not you. Look how seductive you are."

"You know what? You are right. The girl in your arms is my only competition, Max."

She tipped his chin that perched on the plane of her shoulders that their eyes locked on their reflection in the mirror. A glint of confidence shone from her eyes as she smirked.

He tightened his arms around her waist, slightly lifting her feet off the floor. "Nobody comes close to you, Olivia."

"WHAAA-" Olivia squealed when Maxen whisked her up and threw her on the bed. 

He crawled on top of her, tasting her sweet lips and stealing her breath away. Maxen smirked upon seeing her flushed in pink cheeks and closed eyes.

"I was never a jealous man, Olivia." He skimmed his hand on her exposed thigh, the tip of his nose brushed on the length of her neck. "But who knew I would feel such an emotion one day the moment you entered my life. Seeing you gave me both the feeling of pride and possession and the need to cage you increases the longer I see you."

"Unfortunately, I'm not a 'thing' to be possessed." She pulled her weight with her elbows and stared at Maxen who was now wedged between her legs.

"Absolutely," he agreed, widening the high slit of her gown. "You're a goddess, Olivia. And I will even worship the land that you would set foot on."

Olivia threw her head back and held her breath when a sharp and exquisite pain numbed her thigh.

Down between her legs, a cocky smile tugged a corner of Maxen's lips upon seeing horror flash on Olivia's face after she saw the big red bite mark that would definitely bruise her thigh.
Seething with rage, Olivia kicked Maxen off the bed and checked her thigh. However, the frown on her face slowly turned into a faint helpless smile when Maxen's merry and contagious laughter echoed in the room. 
 
"What. An. Arse." Olivia gritted words in her teeth that her lips quivered.

Satisfied with his work of art, Maxen stood up from the floor and peeled Olivia from the bed.
 
He watched as Olivia stomped out of the bedroom, and could hear her whine and protest to Eli. 

He followed her outside to the living room and saw for himself how Eli and his team's faces turned red upon seeing Olivia's bruised thigh.

"Before you get mad at me, we could remedy this situation and you can still wear this beautiful piece. See?" He clipped a part of the high slit lower to cover his marking. "I think Eli could stitch this a little lower to cover it." 

Before Maxen could utter more words, the crowd inside Olivia's apartment was having a mental breakdown as they processed the events that unfold before them.

They could only watch in horror as Olivia assaulted the country's prince, throwing everything that her hands could grab onto while Maxen laughed in glee dodging everything that flew his way.

“I’m not a ‘thing’ to be possessed.” Olivia pulled her weight with her elbows and stared at Maxen whose head was now wedged between her legs. 

“Absolutely,” he agreed, widening the high slit of her gown. “You’re a goddess, Olivia. And I will even worship the land that you would set foot on.” 

... 

Olivia Lin. Exiled heiress of the biggest corporation in the small island of Nisia. Nobody knew of her name. Heck, nobody knew of her existence. Henry Lin, her father, left her in the farthest place from the country as possible the moment she was born.

Greeting his mother Eric went straight to his room.  Entering, he looks slightly daze at the rose red wall and black night carpet.

" Okay. His room is a bit interesting" Eric mutter as he looked toward his red bed. Laying on his bed Eric mind wonder to the list of his abilities.

' Reality manipulation huh.' Eric thought. He grab a pillow from above his head and tighten his grip. 

" Hard." Eric eyes open wide in surpise when the pillow in his hand morph into a hard sack of cement.

Eric lip was tightly close in surpise. ' This seem useful' 


Sitting up straight on his bed Eric stare at the sack on cement in his arms before it change back into a red pillow. His head tilt to the left as he place down the pillow and fold his arm.

" One ability check, I just need to check the other" Eric mutter to himself. Jumping off his bed he went to a open area in the room. Looking at the balcony glass door he made sure it was covered by a curtain. With main door lock also Eric took a deep breath before something amazing happen.

Two pair of golden red wings spurted from his back. Each two meter long and had beautiful glowing feather.  Looking at the mirror infront of him Eric was slight daze as he looked at the four wings on his back. What else drew his attention was the golden red eyes he had.

" Angel. Right" Eric said as he retracted his wings. He couldn't describe the feeling they gave him but it was strange.

' I don't know what else Supreme Angelic Physiology give me buy I'm sure it not just wings.' Eric thought. Going to his computer table he began searching on information on his new world.

It didn't take long before he sigh. 
' A fusion between MCU and DC. I do admit it seem cool but it still a complicated issue.' Eric thought.

Suddenly a knock rang out from his door. Standing up he walked over and open the door only to see an excited little girl jumping up and own as her eyes looked toward he living room.

" Emma?" Eric asked before his arm was grab and pulled to the living room. Entering his gaze was attracted to the Tv that was talking about a building fire.

' The twin spider save the day. What is that' Eric thought before he saw two figure smashing through the burning building fifth floor with people in their arms. One wore a red and blue suit while the other wore a white and black suit with a hoodie.

' Peter and Gwen?' Eric thought as he took a seat in one of the living room sofa. Emma was already seated watching the news excited.

' If i don't recall wrong Emma have a serious fan crush on Gwen or Spidergirl. It was like a person admire a role model.' Eric recall as he looked at his new sister eyes sparkle.

Directing his gaze back to the Tv screen he was intrigue by this develop. Gwen wasn't in MCU so there should be something else different about this world other than it mix with a new universe.

- Saturday morning-

Waking up Eric quickly took a shower and did his daily good hygiene before he enter the kitchen. Taking out ingredients from the fridge , he didn't hesitate and began making breakfast. He had learn basic cooking skill in his previous life so he wasn't half bad.


" Your up earlier?" Jane walked inside the bathroom in her office clothes. Despite it being Saturday, she was still a busy woman. Jane had long red hair with dark green eyes and olive brown skin. Wearing a black pencil skirt with white dress shirt and black jacket she look quite professional.

" Yeah. I have something plan. Wait if your leaving now who going to take care of Emma?" Eric asked. Remembering he now had a sister he was planning to big a good brother.

" Emma can stay home by herself. Just don't take too long on the road." Jane said with a smile as she pour a coffee in her thermos. After saying her good bye Jane left the penthouse in a hurry. 

Taking a bite of his fried egg and bacon sandwich he liked toward Emma room.

* Knock*Knock*

" Emma, Your awake?" Eric asked but didn't get a reply. After thinking for a bit he push open the door and took a peak at the dark room. For some reason though he could see every detail of the room clearly. Purple walls, black carpet, King size bed. 

Spotting Emma on her bed in her purple pajama Eric shook his head and knock harder on the door. " Emma!!"

" What, What is it" She said in a droopy tone.
" I'm leaving for a bit. Will be back soon" Eric said. Seeing her hand wave him good bye Eric close the door and went back into the kitchen where he made her breakfasts.

Half an hour later Eric was on the street of NYC city. He wore a sport style black pants with three gold stripe on his thigh area. He wore a short sleeve V neck blue shirt with a dark blue hoodie over. 

Looking back to the top of the building behind him Eric thought of something before he headed to the nearest subway station.

Eric lived in Gotham city since he was young and just move to New York five months ago. During these five months he had found quite a few abandoned warehouse or factory he could use to test out some of his abilities.

Moving to the outer region the city Eric reach a lonely area. Quickly finding the abandon warehouse he enter cautiously. Making sure no one follow him or was present in the building he sigh and began his testing.

He was sure the full capability of his angel physiology, but after three hour he had some understanding.

He had super strength, speed and sense. He could punch right through the concrete ground beneath his feet. It literally cause the warehouse to shake a bit. He could move quite fast as well but he was unable to do proper measurements. He could see, smell and  farther and better. 

There was also something Eric call bird eye view. It allow him to look at the world as if he was seeing a map. He could see object, people and place through this map and track them easily. The total range of this ability though was three miles. 

Now the wings. With a total wings span of three meter they were quite big and contain numerous glowing feather. The coolest thing about his wings though was although it allow him to fly it can also teleport him to places he had been to already. 

Within the factory he had teleport over ten meter infront of him. After getting a better handle on his power he could appear in his room with ease. The down side to this ability was that he had to have his wings out and teleporting give off this weird flapping sound.

After three hours he had better understanding of his abilities but they were two more things he wondered if he could do. If so it meant that he was really op. As an angel healing and resurrection should be a power but he was unable to test his theory since he was alone.

Appearing back into his room he retracted his wings and jumped back onto his bed. Taking out his phone he check Eric social media and chat messages app for the previous owner friends.

10 minutes later we arrived outside of a mansion.


"Welcome to your new home. Come inside."


As enter the mansion expansive ornaments could be seen everywhere as every little thing from the lamps to the chandelier had some kind of precious material on them.


"This place looks luxurious."

The blond cougar snarled as her huge melon bounced.

"Pick any room you want upstairs. You're gonna train in your combat from morning till lunch and you're gonna spend the rest of your day with me your master."


I thought about it for a while I asked.

"Question why did you pick me as an apprentice?"

"Ow, that because of your talent for metals as a Silver Dragon slayer inscription will be a lot easier for you and all Dragon Slayers have powerful souls and secondly money I get twice the amount for my salary if I have an apprentice."


As I was walking up the stairs I can still her laughing.


"Wait until they hear about this I got a Dragon Slayer for an apprentice. Hahaha!"


I looked at all the rooms as I picked the one closest to me.


I jumped towards the king-size bed and closed my eyes to enjoy the high-quality fabric that must have been used to make this.

"Who's there?"

"It's me the tailor madam assigned for you Young master."


I opened the door a man in his 30's with Mustache came in.

"I'm gonna need your measurements, Young Master."

"Okay."

Minutes later.

"And we are done, please stand back as I create a perfect suit for you Young master."

He did some chanting as full suit and pants with silver lining appeared in thin air.

I clapped as I've never seen such a unique kind of magic.

"Wow, creation magic!"

"This suit is fireproof, water and dust proof can be used for combat and has a self-cleaning mechanism. I hope you like it, young master."

"Indeed I fine suit and the silver lining gives off the aura of royalty."

"I'll be off young master."


Looking at the new suit I took a shower it's already been a few days since I took one.

Slowly I scraped black coal like powder from me using the Hell tornado the other day revealing a soft white skin that can make any girl jealous. Looking at my long black hair in the mirror.

As an image of scissors appeared in my head. As I chanted.

"Armaments! Form scissors!"

Instantly after a blinding light Adamantite scissors appeared in my hands.

The door opened as young men that looked like he was between the ages of 14 to 15 walked out. His eyes ruby and his midnight hair flowed into sharp bangs his suit perfectly fitted. And the logo of the Institute on his left chest. 


I walked downstairs as I saw the blond standing there with her hands crossed under her melons.


"Oh! you look good you handsome devil. Be careful I might not be able to control my self if you look that good all the time."


The blond seductress complemented my looks as she licked her cherry red lips.


"I'm 13 years old."

"Whatever some noble boys do it much younger than you."


"Anyway here's your card buy yourself a weapon or some whores and you can also use that for entry to the library. Remember you can only use it here in the institute. Enjoy your day young Dragon Slayer. If you need anything just find me in the inscription division building."


"Anyway, thanks for all this."

"Ahhh you're making me blush."


As I walked out of the mansion I immediately walk toward the weapons district.




Minutes later I arrived at the weapons district where everyone was selling some kind of weapons from swords to spears and even some wand.


"Hey look at that guy with the red eyes isn't he cute. I'm gonna ask if he's single."

"Not if I get to him first."


Before I realized it a bunch of girls where looking at me as I garner the hatred of men in the area. 


A young girl arrived in front of me as she spoke in a nervous tone.

"S...ir.. are y..ou sing..le?"

I spoke in a resolute manner. This was enough to drive most of them away but some still stayed. Not minding them I walked towards the biggest shop in the district. 


The shop's name was in bold.'SKY FORGE WEAPON SHOP'

As I walked in a girl greeted me.

"Welcome to Sky Forge Weapon. Can I get anything?"

I don't really need a weapon specifically for combat I have a True Dragon spell called Armaments that let me temporarily create an object out of Adamantite. But I need it to train and I can only use Armaments for 3 seconds if I made it into a spear.

I chose the spear because all its downsides are completely irrelevant to me.


"Give me your finest spear the heavier the better."


5 hours later I returned to the mansion as I realized she wasn't there I cooked my own food in the kitchen then I slept early I had a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

Li Du looked at the information. This auction was indeed big.
The auction took place on a cargo ship, the Zhang Baogao, a super large Panamax cargo ship with a length of 300 meters, a width of 43 meters and a height of 14.5 meters.
The classification of cargo ships was very strict. They were divided into ordinary container class, full container class, Panamax class, Panamax Max class, super Panamax class, super large Panamax class, new Panamax class, and 3E class.
The division was classified based on the number of containers the ship could accommodate, its load, its length, width, and its draft depth. Although the super big Panamax class was not the highest-class cargo ship, it was very magnificent. Its size and capacity were impressive.

Li Du read some reports on recent shipping information that raised questions about the Zhang Baogao's departure from port, saying the ship was practically sailing empty and it was a burning cash act.
The Korean Trade Group explained to the rest of the world that the ship was mainly used to transport vehicles, and was carrying about 1,400 units of family cars, including 1,100 units of Hyundai, 100 units of SsangYong and 100 units of Double Stars, with a total value of more than 50 million dollars.
In fact, of course, there was no such thing. After the insurance company arranged some officers to go onboard the ship and check out the goods, they found that there were some cars, but they were all used ones. Such cars had no market in the United States and were worthless.

Therefore, before they went to attend the auction, they had to go to Seattle.
Seattle was one of several large cities in the far north of the United States. It was located in the state of Washington, near Oregon and not far from the Canadian border.
The city experienced a period of rapid growth 30 or 40 years ago, and combined bold innovation with flamboyant individuality. With the help of the global web, it became the largest metropolis in the American northwest.
Before the Internet developed, Seattle's main business industry that supported the city's economy was shipping. It was the second-largest container port in the United States and the closest port to the Far East, where many of the shipping industries started.
Li Du arrived in Seattle by helicopter two days before the auction.
The insurance company was stingy, offering only five days' accommodation for selected clients, which included three days during the auction and one day before and after.
After looking at the accommodations, Li Du refused to stay there. The insurance company was stingy enough to offer them a three-star hotel.
He asked Lu Guan to book a five-star hotel. They came to Seattle once in a blue moon, and there was no need to treat themselves too poorly.
Bill Shoreton got into the warehouse-auction business relatively recently. As he remembered, being in a warehouse auction in other states was a process of grueling work, and at the end of the day they would wish for nothing more than a bed to crush in.
Now he began to understand how attending an auction should be like. Following Li Du to Seattle to participate in the auction this time opened new horizons for him.
First, they did not come here by truck, but by helicopter.

Li Du nodded. "I don't need too much, it would be fine as long as we have a bed to crash in."
Bill's mouth opened wide in shock. He had heard about the Western Park hotel and knew it was one of the best hotels in the northwest, with the least expensive rooms priced 400 to 500 dollars per night. It was the best hotel in the entire northwest area of America. He did not expect that they would choose such a highly rated hotel to stay in during their participation in this auction.
Playboy, who was also invited to the auction, came along with Li Du too. He was a potential Million Dollar Club member, a wealthy man well known among Arizona's treasure hunters' circle.
Playboy saw the change in Bill's facial expression. He straightened his clothes, smiled and said, "You scared this man."
When Bill heard this, he waved his hands, afraid that he might make Li Du feel disgraced, and said, "No, no, no. I was not scared. I am just a little surprised. God, we are just here for the auction, after all!"
Li Du nodded and said, "Yes, the huge auction business we are doing may bring tens of millions, so what's the problem with having a stay here?"

Holding the fort, there’s an ocelot, a wolf, and an Andes condor. At the side, there’s a loyal hound, an irascible ape, and an African honey badger. Who said that you can only rely on humans when treasure hunting?! 

Arriving at a smithy, Arkalat ordered some swords, arrows, bows, and a few grappling hooks.

Looking at the wares, he looked at the metal ingots and their quality; Thinking how the two big mounts did not have armours on them, he ordered wyvern armours and saddles to be custom made for them.

The black and white wyvern behaved quietly as the artisan took their measurements.

The male and female wyvern had a bit of difference in size, but more so in their ferocious appearance.

The male looked like a demon had crossed a dragon on a bad day! The features of the female were a little softer, but it was mainly due to her colour tone that gave that impression.

The artisan still hesitated to approach the male that looked straight grumpy and angry.
Arkalat told the wyvern to behave and it settled down. Lowering its head, it retracted the "fear" aura it gave.

Finally, the artisan sighed, it could work without fearing the creature's wrath.

Once this was concluded, he headed off to get fitly geared with packs that they would carry during the travel. The most precious items would be placed on them, not much creatures or underworld people would challenge them both.

Heading to a general store, he bought different dry foods, gems, weapons and other necessities. They would trade; on the way to Aberon city in the underworld towns, they would cross.

Doing so would give them fresher food sources outside of monsters, but he also feared that some places would be too dangerous to stop inside them.


If he were alone, he would not fear those dark cities. But with a crew and his wife in tow, he was responsible for all their safety.

Going back to the inn finally, he was slightly drained, opening the door that led to their room quietly — it already was late evening.

Seeing his little love curled up on the bed sleeping soundly, he smiled. Tomorrow he would get the remaining of the items he had ordered, and on the third day, they would head down into the gateway. There it would be the no turn back point for months.

He could only prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Speranza woke as she felt her husband climb into the bed; she smiled and sleepily said. "Everything settled?" She then curled to his side as he placed his arm under her head.

"No. But tomorrow, everything will be settled and ready to go."

"Mmhm." she nodded sleepily while settling into his broad chest and warm embrace. 

He placed one hand atop her now mediumly protruding belly. Gently caressing it, he had the most gentle expression and smile.

"Sleep well." Placing a gentle kiss on her forehead, he laid back staring at the ceiling. He then closed his eyes, resting his spirit in meditation.

The days would be long and hazardous starting from tomorrow onwards.

The next morning Speranza also got her last-minute preparations done and over with them.

After all, she also needed baby gears one's that would free up her hands and make the child easy to Carrie. 

She also brought talisman that would silence the area around the child last thing she would want it's it making a monster aware of its
presence. 

Seeing Arkalat arrive with the prepped up wyverns. They look fully geared with various packs, a broad saddle that looked more like a carriage that was on its back. 

Much like one an elephant would carry but slightly even bigger.
A roof, four sides, doors and windows a full small room atop her wyvern. Likely one of the safest place she will have for months to come.

The male wyvern had a more battle practical saddle. Large spikes and blades, added so that even a casual swept of his wings would be devastating!

It made it look like it had come from hell to be the demon lord's mount!

Lucky she knew it was quite harmless toward her otherwise she would have felt the need to run miles away from it!

Smiling at her man she said. 

"It looks awe-inspiring." 

 She could not take her gaze away from the two of them. 

Him riding that wyvern left a lasting image in her heart.
Seeing her look at him and the wyvern-like she had lost her soul to the wind he smiled.

"Did my grand arrival take your breath away?" 

He teased her while disembarking from the mighty beast.

"It sure did." 

Speaking in a slightly sultry tone that rang warm and seducing in his ears.

"Oh, my madam are you trying to seduce your husband?" 

Grabbing her and pulling her against himself his hands landed on her firm pretty little behind.

She made a naughty little smirk as she continued to act coquettish. 

"What if I am?" 

Speaking she ran her finger in circles on his solar plexus making her facial features and body language as naughty-cute she could manage.
She dealt his mind a critical hit! Because he soon after took her into a princess carry! After that, he there and then disappeared into their bedroom ~ locking the door behind them barking to the maids to get out!

He would let her know what it meant to be a naughty little girl! 

He would only let her rest once it would be time to leave! After all, she could sleep in her portage carriage quite safely. 

Once dawn came both getting up, poor Speranza looked so sleep deprived that even her maid jumped in fright!

While his inhuman endurance, made him look fresh and boosted~like he had slept a week straight!

Speranza cursed him for being such a bully!

This guy, would it not kill him not to bully her in that way?
 
She is delicate and much in needed her beauty sleep! Alright?!

Everyone took their positions in the convoy guards flanked the entire convoy. Two scouts were sent ahead, four 'tankers' at the front flanked Arkalat on their mounts. 

The group to whom he had given hounds flanked Speranza wyvern. Two of her maids sat inside with her while the other two sat at the driver's seat. 

It was a very long and impressive convoy the dragons flew around from front to back making aerial scouts as they headed toward the grand adventure of the underworld.

In a world where elves and monsters exist humans are not at the top of the food chain.

She is Speranza a normal girl of the three realms having a stronger magical bloodline, as well as, her looks being divine, her magical power being stronger than most sorcerers. Enough to label her a genius.  Fire red hair just like her temper, untamable, free-spirited and headstrong with a naive touch. A unique outlook of helping the weak people even if it's a one-way feeling

He his the underworld general. A dark elf from the abyss. Gone on a mission on the surface to mark and explore key locations. He is ruthless, heartless and has no pity for the weak and would let them die without batting an eyelash. But his blood red eyes only have her inside them. For her wither its angels, demons or dragons he will slaughter who or whatever crosses his path.

A certain annoyed girl. "You why are you not doing anything?"
A certain blackhearted general. "Because they are worthless."
A certain annoyed girl. "Fine, I don't need your help anyway."
A certain displeased general grit his teeth and follows the certain annoying girl...

I really didn't think the spear of fire would even hit Yequa. Aiming might have been easier than normal because he wasn't moving, but at a distance of thirty meters, one would have to be a skilled marksman in order to hit with deadly precision. I aimed at the magic wand in Yequa's hand with the intention of making him unable to cast any more magic, but the spear ended up piercing through his legs instead. For some reason, he repeatedly admitted defeat after I woke up in the infirmary, even though that sort of injury was nowhere close to being lethal.
At least I don't have to enslave myself for the rest of my life, so I guess everything ended well. I didn't know what to spend my money on in the first place, anyways, so I'm not particularly bothered about having to pay reparation fees, especially when I was told it would cost only a sixth of my current savings.
It was four o'clock by the time I finished resting up, and we left the academy to head back to the city. Amber had sprained her ankles and the rest of her body was still aching after being forcibly knocked over by my impact, so I rented a room at an inn on the main street for her to rest in, while Lica, Yequa, and I went to the marketplace to kill some time before general Denato was due to return to the city in a couple hours. My robe was tattered, and there were bloodstains all over it, so I figured now would be a great time to buy some new clothes, preferably not in the color red after that crazy bull incident.
"Mage robes, huh?"
"Yes. Do you know where I can find a shop for that?"
"I only know of one shop that sells those."
"Great! Could you lead me there?"
"Sure. Just hold onto your pockets…"
"What?"
Yequa led us through the busy streets of the city marketplace towards an area with hardly any foot traffic. The houses in this area all had three or four floors, were painted with relatively dark colors, and were built so close to one another that the street received hardly any natural light. Not only that, the street itself was so narrow that nobody ever bothered placing any street lamps, since those would block most pedestrians from passing through. These streets were perfect for pickpockets and muggers to operate in, although I don't quite know if it could fit two people standing side by side in the first place.
"Are you… sure this is the right way?"
"Yes."
"Why is the neighborhood so… creepy?"
"The rent's cheap."
I became more and more worried about being mugged or assaulted as we kept walking through these dark streets. It didn't help that people we passed by occasionally stared at us, or that there were strange noises coming out of the back alleys. Patrolling soldiers were still visible, though, so it was probably unlikely that Yequa was going to make us regret following him.
We eventually reached a brighter area after about two minutes, although I still felt bothered. Most of the lighting here was in a faint red color, and a couple women dressed in very revealing clothing were either making eye contact with or waving at us.
Who the hell would even open a clothing store in a place like this?
"This is the store."
"It's quite… spacious."
We stopped in front of a large building that was ten meters wide and probably equally deep. The storefront was lined with racks full of colorful clothes, all of which were for so many different purposes and occasions that it was impossible to tell specifically what kind of clothing shop this was. They carried all kinds of apparel one would ever need, from casual to formal attires, and from work clothes to those worn at home.
"This place gives me the impression that it's the only clothing store in the city."
After all, why else would it be this big, or carry this many types of clothes?
"You're right, this is the only clothing store."
"…"
"And that's why they're here in the middle of the slums. Renting a store this big anywhere else in the city would cost at least ten times as much."
"Wouldn't the security costs for operating here also be significantly more expensive, though?"
"That's what everyone thought at first, but it ended up being cheaper here than anywhere else."
"What? Really? How is that even possible?"
"Ever since they opened, the people around here started earning more money."
"Huh?"
"The customers in the red light district really enjoy this thing called 'role-playing' when they make use of services, so the clothes here are wildly popular."

"Not only that, this shop hires a lot of nearby residents to help produce clothes, since they're in extremely high demand."
It's not like one could eat clothes in the first place or sell them off elsewhere for a profit since it was too obvious where the clothes came from given this place's status as the only clothing shop in the city. Also, the shop transports its money to a safer location at least twice a day, so nobody ever bothers robbing this place since there isn't much to loot. Not only that, it was boosting the economy around these slums and paying its workers reasonable wages, so the residents were happy to have it around and were voluntarily protecting it around the clock.
I looked around for a while, then finally decided on getting a violet colored robe with gold trims at the sleeves and a simple white pattern running down the front. There was also a white version with a black colored pattern, but I figured it would be a bad idea to get that since I kept hitting the ground wherever I traveled, and stain or scratch marks would be too noticeable.
"Ah, a wizard robe. Good choice."
"How long would it take to adjust this to my size?"
"Half a day, but we can get it done by tonight for an extra 500 doviti."
"Are there any faster options?"
"We could expedite that to half an hour for an extra 2000 doviti, but…"
"Deal."
"But the robe you picked only costs 1000…"
"I don't want to have nightmares about rampaging bulls."
"Eh…"
I quickly gave the confused shop owner enough money for two robes, along with the extra fee for making fast adjustments. I didn't really mind waiting longer, but this part of the city gave off weird vibes that made me not want to visit again, especially at nighttime.
"By the way, would you like to buy some matching hats and wands?"
"No, thank you."
"It would complete the wizard look, though!"
"No, it won't."
"Your staff looks cool, but it won't work that well in bed, you know."
"…"
"…Did I say something wrong?"
"Do I look like someone who's planning on role-playing?"
"Yes? Why else would you be dressed like that?"
"Because I'm a real mage…"
"Oh. My apologies."
The shopkeeper and I awkwardly looked at each other for a while in silence, then he walked off elsewhere to tend to other customers. A worker soon came over to take my measurements, then I borrowed a couple stools from the store to sit on and chat idly with Lica while waiting for alterations to be made.
Yequa was also going to wait with us, but a couple soldiers came over to the store looking for him not long after I placed the stools down. I didn't know the exact reason why they came, but I could hear something about Suva town and cattle. If I had to guess, he was probably being summoned because of the recent stampede incident.
I probably shouldn't tell him that I was the one who brought over a letter from that town yesterday…

Half an hour later, alterations on my new robes were finished, so I thanked the store's workers and headed out. During the time we waited, Lica seemed to be interested in some cute dresses, so I decided to buy some for her. Those dresses intended for young girls were cheap, and alterations weren't necessary since her small stature nearly matched the size of the dresses, so I wasn't bothered about having to pay a little bit more money. Now she won't need to borrow Amber's old clothes, I suppose. I thought about getting Amber something as well, but I didn't know what kind of designs she liked, nor did I know her measurements.
The innkeeper said the room I rented for Amber to rest in earlier was ours until noon the next day, so I decided to drop off all of our new clothes in there. One of the patrolling soldiers came up to Lica and I on our way back to inform us that general Denato was about to come back to the city and wanted me to come to a celebration banquet right away, so I changed into one of the new robes I bought and immediately headed out with the two girls.
I could have left Lica and Amber on their own since the general wanted to see just me, but I was told that I could bring all my traveling companions along. I did feel bad about injuring Amber earlier, so bringing her to a banquet was probably the least I could do to make it up to her, although I didn't quite know if she could still enjoy herself when everyone else was a stranger. Remembering what happened the last time Amber drank just a little bit of alcohol, I told Lica on the way there to keep an eye on Amber, just to make sure she wouldn't get drunk and collapse onto someone again.
The place where the celebration banquet was going to be held was the large mansion I stayed in the night before. Most of the troops returning home would be eating and drinking on the excessively large grounds outside of the guesthouse, while the general and other higher ranking officers would be celebrating indoors, in a dining hall and adjacent ballroom.
I wanted to stay outside so that I could eventually sneak out of the banquet since I wasn't particularly fond of large social gatherings, but because the general himself wanted to see me as soon as possible, one of the soldiers immediately came up to me and escorted me inside. I took a quick glance back at Lica and Amber, who were lucky enough to not be asked to also come indoors. All they could do was wave at me and smile back in silence. 
Well, I hope they don't plan on giving us glorified military rations tonight. It would certainly be embarrassing if I was the only one among the crowd who couldn't swallow everything on my plate. I also hope that there won't be too many people, otherwise it would be hard to leave unnoticed…
