"Hey dear, I'm done over at the Fusion Chamber. How are you doing over at your side?" I greeted Heather who was staring at her screen and moving it here and there and wondering what she needs to do with it. 

She had nearly completed the insertion of the images, captions and other catchy phrases including our town's name, availability of work vacancies as well as other developments and all were in bold and caps.

From her screen it looked rather bright, vivid, eye-catching, enticing and full of flavour to make someone literally want those items that would be available soon in our town's production areas.

"I had dragged an image here and then the image dropped off and I can't find it anywhere else. Help me out dear, I think the image had dropped on the floor or somewhere off-screen." Heather was exasperated as she looked at her clothes and found nothing to be stuck on it.

She even looked behind and around the screen, the table and underneath her seat but she couldn't find the particular image.

Sensing Heather was in a bit of a fix, Ceres came to the rescue and advise her to click on the page and move the slider towards the minute sign to shrink the page and page on the screen.

"The image that you had dragged went offscreen, but it's still on the screen but not on the page, you need to....."

Ceres words were stopped halfway as Heather seemed to mumbled and complained that she had already done so but actually she was doing it right there and then now.

Seems Heather and Ceres were going to end up in a women's squabble pretty soon if I don't intervene.

"Dear, look at these trinkets and let me know what you think. I can only insert a single piece of gold blue sapphire here, unlike mine, and would use it to test out on Eagle."

"If he puts on these trinkets, he may have a larger mana pool and therefore enabled him to learn his normal type of skills from the range of skills book that I would bring up from the realm."

"If this proves as a success, he and the rest would be using these trinkets filled with blue sapphires but I will also need to see if other stones would help improve his class as an Assassin."

"It seemed that he preferred to be at close range combat rather than be a long-range offensive combatant."

Heather held her hand out and I passed her the trinkets and she wondered if I had those on me all the time and I showed it to her as well. It was all filled with blue sapphires and told me blue is good looking for a boy like me.  Hahaha...!!

I then remembered that the pieces of armours that I had improved for the Shadow units had new sockets when they were reinforced with steel mesh thereafter. 

This means that it would be used to socket any other gemstones to enhance their attack, defence, agility and strength too.

There were 4 pieces of armours that I had duplicated and reinforced before and it was left as spares for me to work on. "Hang on dear, I would be right back again. I need to go and check the sockets for the pieces of armour that I had improved for Eagle and the Shadow unit members before."

Heather made a sound with her throat to indicate that she acknowledge me as she had managed to find the image that had dropped offscreen away from the intended printed area. 

She played with the slider and was able to zoom in and out easily and she experimented with the grouping of all images with a single click, hold and drag to enlarge or decrease its size as a while and hit individually. 

She was mumbling to herself and giggling at the same time as she worked alone at the screen. 

I myself had already gone into the Fusion Chamber and was picking the 4 pieces of armour as I counted the number of sockets. I do not wish to find the locations but merely counting on the sockets available. 

As Ceres had mentioned before that the Stanspar gemstones are in the Fusion Chamber and lying in the crates somewhere, I climbed over some of the crates but found none of it. 

As Ceres mentioned, if the things are for me it would be visible and if not, then it would be invisible to me no matter how hard I try to look for it. 

Feeling a bit dispirited, I held a few sets of skills book meant for all the warrior classes as well as hex and spells, chants, shouts, physical attacks and other masteries.

"These skills books could be duplicated like what Robin the Hood had done before for his whole army, right Ceres?"

"That's right, Audemars. Your former self was a bit afraid to lose out. So he bought a set of these skills book and duplicates hundreds of them for his army before."

"I believed there are still more skill books left in the crates since I could still detect a few hundred left in total."

I thanked Ceres for the additional information as I swiped the current room back to the White Room where Heather was waiting for me to do a test print before she churned out the rest of the intended amount.

"Wow... This looked even more perfect and eye-catching than before...! This should do it, dear. I'm pretty sure anyone who sees this Informational pamphlet would want to own a piece of these fine products."

"You even include in bread, a set of Spreads here with sliced bread, grains and also a couple holding farming tools too...! It seems you knew what to do and squeeze all the information inside this single piece of paper...!" 

I praised Heather for her tenacity at work and she was pretty delighted as I explained every single thing I saw and highlighted that this Informational pamphlet would be a great boost to create the necessary awareness.

One look would show what this Informational pamphlet would like to tell and people would soon be clamouring for these products or clamouring over here to work.

Now it's up to the 64 Adventurers that would disseminate the information to the proper audiences. 

There are 5 towns for each 4 of then and there would be an estimated coverage of at least 80 of those. 

The towns would be for creating sales and gathering the contact information while the villages would be to migrate those settlers over to our town.

I had a strange idea and I shared it with Heather straight away. "Dear, if our Adventurers were to plant a series of corn every 2 paces or so, it would leave a kind of marker for the new inhabitants to follow right?" 

"At the same time, the inhabitants they travel from each of the villages would be able to harvest the planted crop as they trekked along  towards our town."

"This is already mid-autumn and food would be scarce in their own villages at this moment. If the Adventurers were to plant at least 5 seeds every few strides, it would mean that there would be food for the few feet ahead."

"What do you think of this crazy idea since villagers might not even know which is southwest or even simple navigation since they are not Irish Travellers that depends on the stars for navigation...!"

Heather listened to me and exclaimed loudly that it was a perfectly thought out plan and it would work indefinitely. 

Besides carrying an extra 5 pounder of 'bumper crops' corn grains with them, there won't be a problem for the villagers to fund their way. 

Furthermore, Priestess Penelope could further enhance these grains to sprout out after a few hours of planting so it would be great for the Adventurers to leave such a trail behind.

After confirming with the sample printout, I informed Heather to open the File menu, choose print and adjust the counter to 500 copies before hitting the print icon.

The printer machine that was beside the machines immediately whirred to life and soon the colourful Informational pamphlets began to emerge into the out tray and Heather was delighted to find the images that came out had already dried up.

"You want to stay here until we complete the prints or we come back later again?" I asked Heather but she seemed to want to stay instead and wait for the completion of the prints before she brings it back to the real world.

"Let's stay here for a while. Sorry my dear, that I nearly made us have a slight issue earlier when we were about to enter this realm. I would never try to do it again."

" Hmm, I'm going to sit here and read the encyclopedia since the books here are complete rather than the one that you brought back to the realm the other time."

Heather spoke as she raised herself from the seat, walked over to grab a cup of hot tea and settled down in the sofa after she had picked up the reference B encyclopedia.

"Ceres, could you bring up the system information panel that my former self had before? Would there be an option for me to activate one of two of those skills that I had so that I could further improve myself?"

Ceres paused for a while before answering. "I'm sorry, Audemars. The old system had been overridden by the new current system that I had cleaned up."

"There is no trace that I could show you but I could tell you that the previous system was more complex and comprehensive that even your former self was finding it hard to comprehend at most times."

"There were main menus as well as sub-menus for each and every category that was listed on your old system."

"However, no matter how much I liked the new system that is more straight forward, I would still prefer to have some of the features that might be of your interest."

"Do you want me to give you some examples since I can't show it up on the screen?"

I was interested to know more about the past system and I almost sat up immediately as I agreed to Ceres and soon it was telling me about the previously detailed personal biodata that I had.

"The following attributes make up the most of your past and they are divided into Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Wisdom, Intelligence and Charisma."

"Strength brings about Athletics which is also part of your health. Dexterity brings about acrobatics, stealth and thievery skills. These would be great for those warrior class like an assassin or a thief." 

"Constitution brings about your endurance, which also part of your strength. Wisdom brings about the skills such as nature, perception, and dungeoneering, insight and heals where it would fit for a Ranger, assassin, as well as other classes."

"Intelligence brings about the mana pool and this would be enhanced if the class was a mage, wizard or necromancer. It revolves around religion, magical realm, arcana as well as history."

"Last but not least, its Charisma where it brings about one to have the intimidation skills, streetwise, bluff as well as performing diplomacy." 

"I won't be able to explain to you further on these since the data based on these attributes had been wiped off. That's the best to my knowledge and records, Audemars."

I listened to Ceres as its voice boomed across the room and was surprised that the previous system was indeed more complex than the current one.

It's much more beneficial but I discovered that these attributes need to be unlocked through a series of tasks. 

It would also be graded accordingly as the grading would be at a range of 1000 and the improvement rate was really abysmal. In short, the improvements would only be ticking away slowly with every use...!

"It's unlike your current system, Audemars. You have your health points and mana points on top of your Strength and other simpler attributes. It's better this way and much less confusing."

I agreed with Ceres since I won't want to be swamped with lots of information they would clutter my concentration for the task at hand. Even I heard there were the main and secondary professions like the Shadow units and that traits would also be graded from Novice right down to Grandmaster.

When Ceres explained to me that after I plant and tend to a vegetable farm, I could even be a grandmaster farmer. I laughed out loud along with Heather since it's ridiculous to have such a skill presently as we have the support of the Priest and Priestess.

Once the printouts had been completed, we picked up the stacks of printouts as we got ready to leave the realm and enter the real world.

During the period of 1337-1453, a terrible war broke in Medieval England and that period was called (Hundred Year's War) and a huge turmoil ensued between the England and France with the involvement of rebels as well as opportunists. 

Prince Audemars Macleod, a descendent of King Richard Macleod of Darlington had barely managed to escape with his life when the Manor he was living in was besieged by rebels in 1440, when he was just barely 18 years old.

Let us travel through time and relive the experiences of this young Prince as he was forced to 'banished' and survive with some followers they entrusted their lives with him.

Little did he realise that he was actually living in the past of his future and had no recollection of anything except when he was narrated by a Seer that had been inducted as a permanent resident of the town he founded later.

*This is a fictional world. Most plants, vegetables, fruits and certain animals didn't exist in England that time.

*Almost all novels start off with a system. This does not reveal any hint of a system until you get to almost halfway through the novel. 

* Mobsters are included in the later chapters of this novel too.

As Ashlynn hurriedly tries to sits down on the chair, she stumbles a bit to get up. The chair is a bit too tall for her. After a couple seconds of awkwardly trying to get up she manages to sit on top of it. She is sitting on the frontmost part of the chair, too small to fit fully. Her feet dangling as well. Once atop she manages to get a clear view of a the rest of the room. Master Anri is standing, staring at young Ashlynn. Alongside him are Two guardsmen alongside Guardsmen David, a IMD, and Katrina. Master Anri is at the forefront, with David slightly behind and to the side of him. Far back at the wall the two guards are around Katrina. The IMD is on the side, organizing a set of tools.
Upon seeing Katrina, Ashlynn shouts "Mother!" and starts to get down from the chair. 
Before she can even attempt it, Master Anri says "Slave, you will see your mother soon. Sit." and gestures to the chair she is attempting to get off.
"Y-yes sir!" Ashlynn squeaks, and hurriedly gets back on the chair, having fallen slightly off while Master Anri was speaking.
"Sit all the way back, girl." Master Anri orders.
Ashlynn adjusts herself, putting her back to the cold metal of the chair.
Anri gestures to the IMD and David. The both of them moving forward to Ashlynn. They put her arms onto the reddish-brown leather armrests. Upon doing so metal cuffs come out of the chair, locking her hands and body to the chair. 
Upon seeing this fear swallows Ashlynn's eyes. She mutters a soft "No.." at the sight.
Katrina starts to tear up in the background. But not saying anything.
Noticing the fear in Ashlynn's eyes, David stares into Ashlynn's eyes and mutters to Ashlynn, "Do not be afraid. Do not resist. Follow obediently and you will survive. Trust me on this."
This calms Ashlynn down somewhat. His voice seeming oddly calming despite his lack of much of a relationship to Ashlynn. He then starts to walk back to his place behind Anri.
[Uncle David has never talked much, let alone assured me of anything. This is strange... His words are also weirdly calming, kinda like when my dad of my past life used to talk to me when I got in trouble at school because the children picked on me for not having a mom... Perhaps..]
Ashlynn looks over to Katrina, then back to David. Then looping back to Katrina.
[Maybe my father of this life didn't leave me? Maybe he was right there the whole time? But then.. Why did he not save me from this fate? Or mom?]
"*Ahem" Master Anri clears his throat. Bringing attention of the room to him. "Now, girl, it is your fifth birthday. Imperial law edict thirty three of the Slavery manifest states that until the age of five children of slaves are to be owned by their parents, leading a small chain from child to parents, and parents to Masters. Now, you are officially my slave. The chain to your parents are broken." Master Anri stops for a minute, looking around the room. "Now, you are a bit special. Your father is not known. So you are in a bit of a predicament. Unless your father were to reveal himself right now..." He looks around the room again, stopping for a bit when his eyes reached David, "You would be mine. But.. If your father ever would reveal himself in the future there would be irritating complications. And since I can not have those complications exist as I intend to sell you in the future, this contract will be required to be signed." 
He walks back, reaching a table nearby Katrina, on it a two-paged contract is laid out. 
"Sen, Ven, release the slave." Master Anri orders.
The two release her, when they do she falls to her knees. Her eyes filled with hopelessness. She has no way of solving this.
"Now, slave, go and sign the contract stating that your child will forever now be my slave until I decide to sell her or anything else." Master Anri orders.
Katrina takes the pen, on the first page there are two areas requiring her signature. She starts to sign the first page, albeit a bit slowly. She reaches the last page. There is only one area for her to sign. She extends her hand, the pen hovering over the final signature. And she stops for a second. Then two. Then three.
Then a young voice pops up from the other side of the room, "Mommie..."
It is Ashlynn, "I'll... I'll be fine. Sign the paper. I'll be okay.."
[This is probably a terrible decision, but there is no other choice. If she says no it is likely she would be beaten or killed. It is better to surrender before anyone gets hurt... Besides, I still have a few years with my mom at the very least. And maybe my newly found Dad can save us eventually...]
Katrina, tears streaming down her face, signs the paper.
"Now, it seems this drama has been completed." Master Anri states. 
"Its time for the collar." Master Anri says, while holding a small child-sized metal collar.
He starts approaching Ashlynn. Moving at a brisk, military pace. Upon reaching Ashlynn, she brings her neck up, and Master Anri puts the collar on Ashlynn.
The door to the room opens suddenly, the Mistress comes out from it. Tailing her is Lucien. "Oh, Honeey~" Starts the Mistress, "are you done with this dreadful affair?"
Master Anri nods, and signals everyone to leave. As everyone starts making their way out, David and Katrina linger around Ashlynn.
The Mistress now walks into the room, gives a peck on the cheek of Master Anri, and turns her attention to Ashlynn. At the sight of Ashlynn she frowns, then turns and asks her husband, "Dearie, she doesn't have the brand. It seems you were not yet done huh?"
"No." states Master Anri turning to face his wife, "I intend on selling this slave when she grows to a more mature state. To brand her would lower the Credits I might get for her."
"But Dearie..." The Mistress trails on, "Lucy dearie needs a personal slave soon. This might be the perfect opportunity here..."
Hearing his mother's nickname for him, Lucien blushes stammering, "M-Mom! I do not need such a slave. I will be fine without any!" 
"Oh Lucy darling," The Mistress starts, crouching down and holding Lucien's face, "But you do need a slave soon, you are getting a slave no matter what. This is final."
"Hmmm..." Master Anri ponders, "You may have a point, Sarah², it seems I may have written the young slave off too soon."
Hearing the words, Katrina and David look back surprised. Fear in both their eyes at the revelation of the new fate of their daughter's.
"U-uhm, sir-" David begins,
"You two are still here? Begone the both of you, you are not needed here. David get back to your post. Slave, go get an unused room in the main house ready for the new slave."
"I-I.." Katrina mutters as she starts moving forward, to her daughter.
Seeing this, the Mistress amusedly reaches in her bag and brings out a small remote. On it is a button and a slider, she turns up the slider slightly and presses the button.
At the press, the shock collars of Katrina and Ashlynn goes off.
"AaaaAaagh!!!" Shouts Katrina. Ashlynn managing to keep her mouth shut and not scream.
"Go. Slave." Orders the Mistress, thumbing the button as if she would press it again at the smallest chance. "In fact, David, escort her out of here. Then come back. We need someone to hold the slave still after all." She says after a second of thought. David, grimacing, picks up Katrina and drags her out of the room, leaving only Ashlynn, Master Anri, The Mistress, and Young Master Lucien in the room. 
Outside the room, David sets Katrina up on the stairwell, and simply states, "I'm sorry." leaving her alone afterwards. Upon entering the room, he unlocks the cuffs holding Ashlynn and drags her to a stool next to the table across the room. Lifts her dirty yellow shirt off of her and holds her, her stomach on the stool, and her back outstretched ready for the branding of House Serv.
[No. No no no no no no no no no no. This can't be happening. This is utterly barbaric! This world is so utterly advanced yet they brand slaves?! No. And they are making my father hold me?! No. He won't do it right?]
At the thought, Ashlynn looks up into David's eyes. His eyes a stormy gray just like hers, clouded in raindrops, no, tears. David can not do anything. He has to stand there and help brand his own daughter. His flesh and blood. 
Master Anri gets the brand ready. It is an advanced electric one, where upon turning on the barb will start to heat up quickly, reaching the required temperature in less than ten seconds. Master Anri turns it on and gets into position. Ashlynn and David bracing themselves for what is soon to come.
But Master Anri stops for a second, then turns to young Lucien. "Boy, you do it." he turns it off and forces the boy to grab it. 
"B-but father I.." Young Master Lucien stammers, far too uncomfortable with carrying through such an act.
"No. Your slave, you must do it. You want to be a soldier right boy?" states Master Anri calmly,
"Y-yes father but.." Lucien starts, but is interrupted by his father again,
"You wish to rise in ranks possibly becoming Moff yes? Then you must do this. As a soldier you must do worse acts. And while doing those acts you must never stammer. You must be calm and ready. Now, do it."
Young Master Lucien reluctantly starts it up, and he, David, and Ashlynn all brace themselves.
Szzzzz! The sound of sizzling flesh starts up.
"AaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAaa" Ashlynn screams. At the sounds of the screams, Lucien stops, panicking. David drops Ashlynn's arms. She tumbles down to the floor immediately. First fear shows in her eyes, then a tinge of anger.
[This.. THis hurts! Aagh! Please let it be over. Please please please please please. I can't believe they would do this to another human being! They... They are not humans, they are animals! And they.. They will pay eventually.] 
Ashlynn's eyes tinge yellow. Two or three bits of concrete hover an inch off the ground and a small, unnoticeable, arc of purple electricity flickers through her hair for a second, then the bits of concrete drop, the yellow tinge around her eyes disappears. The lightning vanishes as quickly as it came. As she heard Master Anri speak.
"The mark is not deep enough, boy. Let me show you how it is done." He wraps his arms around Young Master Lucien, arms covering the boy's and presses it for three more seconds.
Ashlynn's voice cries out again, her flesh sizzles under the heat. Three seconds felt like three whole minutes. David sheds a single tear. 
Under the pain, Ashlynn's consciousness starts to grow faint. She barely manages to hear Master Anri state "It is done. Boy, bring her to her new quarters inside the house. Your slave, your responsibility."

I will start writing Onomatopoeia's only once for the sound. If it repeats over and over again I'll only write the sound part once, but write the description of the event both times. The only time this may change is with Lightsabers, although I think I may not even need to write the sound...

I did not like writing this chapter, but it is necessary for the future plot.

A small group of friends decide to come back to Star Wars: The Old Republic and all make new characters... Only as they finish their character creation they are transported into the world of Star Wars! May the Force be with them.. This will follow the Inquisitor's story and be from her point of view. The Story will follow the class missions pretty linearly for a good while until I get more comfortable writing... I obviously don't own Star Wars: The Old Republic so all rights for Star Wars: The Old Republic goes to Bioware and their Overlord, Electronic Arts Inc. Releases will be Monday with three chapters and Friday with four chapters around 2:00 Pacific Standard Time

Kojima went to mound. Rest of teammates started to warm up slightly on their respective positions. Kojima threw some practice pitches to warm up his shoulder.
Kojima: OK, form is good, I can feel ball on my fingertips till release. The ball is moving more than usual and has more power and speed. I am going to use my full strength today.
He started to dig some dirt to to step on mound plate.

Kojima looked with shock at quest. 
Kojima: Why didn't quest issued in recent games? May be an automatic or only for important games.
He got ready to pitch and starting to wait for Carlos to step into the batter box.
Carlos stepped into the batter box after few practice swings and took on his stance. 
Kojima started his pitching motion with a big wind up. He raised his left leg up to his shoulder adjusted his full weight on his right pivot leg and clenched his left glove as much as he can. He was brimming with confidence and slammed his left leg on the mound, twisted his hips and fired a bullet towards home plate shocking everyone.
<Ball> umpire declared.
Crowd burst out with cheering and questions:
"What is with this speed"
"Was his fastball this fast"
" That's what I came here to see"
Kojima couldn't control his pitch and pitched four ball consecutively.
Shirakawa stepped in the batter box. Carlos started to take a big lead to disrupt kojima.
Miyuki gave kojima signal to try pick off.
Kojima turned and throw the ball towards 1st base at lightning speed. Carlos sensed danger and dive towards the 1st base, Yuuki caught the ball and tagged Carlos with his glove and turned towards umpire to hear his decision.
"Out" first base umpire declared.
Kojima: With me here you can not even pass half distance between 1st and 2nd base.
Crowd burst out with cheering and praise.
Kojima started to focus towards batter. he started to control the pitched and pitched 1 ball and 2 strikes. on 4th pitch Shirakawa hit a grounder to Kuramochi. 
Yoshizawa Stepped in the batter box. Kojima struck out with only 3 pitches. Yoshizawa couldn't even touch the ball.
2nd half of the 1st Inning:
Narumiya stepped on the mound. Kuramochi stepped in and showed bunt stance in the left batter box. He disrupted the batter and fought for walk to the base.
Ryousuke stepped in batter box and took a bunt stance. As Narumiya started to throw his pitch Kuramochi took off to 2nd base for steal. Harada hurled the ball to the 2nd base but Kuramochi skillfully used the base to avoid the tag. Ryousuke bunted with only one hand. Kuramochi sprinted towards 3rd base. Narumiya thew ball to the 1st base, 1st baseman got ready to throw ball to 3rd base after catching the ball but stopped as Kuramochi almost reached 3rd base.
Isashiki went to right handed batter box. Narumiya hurled a slider at his chest. Isashiki swing his bat and sent the ball to out field. Kuramochi made to home and Isashiki made to 1st base. 
Watching Yuuki stepping into batter box Out fielders Positioned themselves slightly back towards fence. Narumiya Struck out Yuuki with his Change up like screw ball. 
Kojima stepped in batter box. Narumiya pitched slider to this chest and Kojima swung his bat, ball connect slightly side to the core of bat and  sent the ball to the outfield near the fence but was caught by Carlos. 
1st Half of the 2nd Inning:
Harada stopped before entering batter box and do some practice swings. Narumiya went into deck circle. Harada stepped in right hand side batter box. Kojima throw 2 Balls, Harada didn't swung his bat. Kojima pitched two strikes consecutively, then a ball to outside. Kojima threw slower 2 seamer, Harada swung his bat, as ball reached near plate it  broke towards his chest and directly entered Miyuki's mit.
Kojima struck out Narumiya and Yamaoka by swing and miss in total of 6 Pitches.
"Oh, Is that guy for real"

2nd half of the 2nd Inning:
Narumiya struck out Masuko with 4 pitches. Miyuki hit grounder to the 2nd base and shirasu popped out to 1st base.
This stalemate continued till 2nd half of the 8th inning.
Yuuki stepped into the batter box. It was 1 out with no runners on base. Yuuki hit Narumiya's slider and sent the ball to out field and successfully reached 2nd base.
Kojima stepped in the batter box after few practice swings. He adjust his stance and tighten his hand grip on his bat. He took his first pitch as called strike, it was nasty slider. Narumiya throw a ball on outside of strike zone. Narumiya pitched fastball as his third pitch on the upper left corner of the strike zone. When the ball came near plate Kojima suddenly swung his bat with great force, ball hit the sweet spot of the bat and sent directly over the fence. He tossed his bat to the side and started to jog around the bases. He did high five with captain Yuuki and went to dug out. Players patted both Kojima and Yuuki on the back of their head and backs. but after them Seidou couldn't continue their batting. Masuko and Miyuki Hit grounder in the infield.

On the top of the 9th Inning Kojima went to the mound:
Crowd was cheering and singing Seidou's name. 
Yoshizawa stepped in the batter box. Kojima struck out him by throwing two fastballs with a Improved change up that sink down towards the plate.
Harada stepped in the batter box. He fouled the first pitch that was barely in strike zone. Kojima threw 2 balls outside the strike zone. Harada fouled another fastball which was with in strike zone. Miyuki sent another signal to kojima but he shook his head. Miyuki show another signal and Kojima nodded.
Kojima pitched his 5th ball, It  traveled at lower speed than fastball, Harada became cautious. When ball reached near plate in strike zone, Harada swung his bat but ball broke sharply toward his chest. Harada tried to make a contact with the ball but the break was very sharp and went directly to the Miyuki's mit.
"Strike 3 batter out" umpire declared in a loud voice.
Crowd:
"How many did he struck out?"
"I think that was his 14th"
"Is this guy for real"

Kojima started his pitching motion. He throw cutter to the Narumiya's chest. Narumiya swung his bat but popped above his head. Miyuki took off his mask and stood directly under the ball.
"OUT GAME SET" umpire declared.
Seidou's player ran towards the mound and surrounded Kojima and celebrating their win. 3rd years were crying crowd was shouting and celebrating.

'What do you mean by that? Please explain carefully.' I asked in anticipation. I felt like a child who was denied his candy from his father, but just as he was feeling down, his mother turned to him and offered him another candy.

'Well… I am not sure if you'll be able to buy the 2nd tier crystals. But you can definitely give it a try.' Lily said.

'Can you be a little more clear. Where can I buy the 2nd tier crystals?'

'You can try to buy them at the 'Buy and Sell Worldwide' icon that recently opened up. Although I'm not sure if you'll be able to find some 2nd tier crystals in there, there's still a possibility that you might.' Lily said.

'Oh! So that's what you meant.' 

Finally I got the point that she was trying to convey.

In fact, the idea was rather simple and I felt a bit ashamed that I was not able to think about it myself.

People can sell just about anything in the B&W Worldwide. So it was possible that someone might have tried to sell a few 2nd tier crystals as well.

Although the chances of such a thing happening was not very high, there was no problem in checking the interface for once.

Leaving such thoughts aside, I opened up my hologram and quickly pressed on the 'B&S Worldwide' icon.

Just as I opened the icon, I was met with an interface which resembled that of the Online selling sites like Amazon and eBay.

There was an icon on top left which said 'B&S worldwide' beside which I could see a long search bar.

Below that, I could see a list of options like Home, Buy, Sell, Today's Deals, All Departments and Account.

When I hovered over the Account section, it showed me in image of my own face and the amount of wealth I had.

It also showed other options like Setting, History, Orders, etc. But I had no history and I've never ordered anything so those didn't interest me.

As for Setting, I decided to leave it be for later on.

Below these things, I could see a large slider and after gazing the slider for a few seconds, I realized that my perception of the world had suddenly changed.

In the slider bar, I could see a tank, a RPG launcher, a set of 100 grenades, a set of 3 rifles and 3 ammunition crates, wait! Why does this sound so familiar.

I quickly clicked on the last option and my was shocked when I saw the image of the seller.

'Isn't that Big bro?' I asked incredulously.

Besides Rahul's name, I could see the (Second timer) tag, but this time, there was one more tag attached with his name. It was (Enhanced Human I).

'It is.' Lily replied. 'Why are you so surprised?'

'Why am I so surprised, don't you see that his products are on the first page. Have you ever sold something in the ebay or a similar site. Let me tell you right now. It's downright impossible to get your products in the homepage of sites like these.'

'Well, now that you put it that way, that does make kind of sense. But maybe not many people know about the B&S Worldwide right now. If they did, then I'm pretty sure that people from the military could definitely sell much more guns and ammunitions without putting their own life in danger.'

'Yeah. I guess that a lot of people don't even know about this stuff at this point.' I controlled my shock and looked at the prize of the set.

The whole set of 3 rifles and 3 ammunition crate was prized at 500 white coins.

I had no idea if it was a fair price or not. Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. I won't know until I go through a lot of other options.

I searched a bit more and realized that the Tank was being sold at a prize of 4000 white coins.

Damn. Does anyone even has so many white coins at this point.

Even if someone had 4000 white coins, it would be rather foolish to buy a tank with it.

Although a tank could be use to crush the abnormals, their crystals would get crushed along with their heads so it could not be used for harvesting crystals.

It could also be used as a moving fortress but 2nd tier abnormals are very fast and once a tank is caught between them, it would not be able to get out of the encirclement no matter how much it tries.

As for the 3rd tier abnormals.

Judging by how smart and powerful those 3rd tier abnormals were, I felt that a single 3rd tier abnormals would be able to sabotage a tank.

Maybe not really wreck it upside down, but it would probably be capable of breaking the turret or wreaking it's tracks.

'Others are welcome to buy it. But personally, I would never do such a thing.' I sighed and scrolled down the site.

Below, I could see a large amount of medical supplies, probably sold by someone who broke into a hospital after the apocalypse.

After that section, I was able to see highly expensive communication devices like walkie talkies, radar, flares, etc.

There were many gadgets in that section but there was one in particular that caught my attention.

It was a set of four walkie talkies and was priced at around 300 white coins. It's description said that it had a range of 50 kilometers which was considerably more than the walkie talkies I got from the army.

In a world where there's no electricity and the no other method of communication, such a thing might prove to be very useful.

I kept the set in my wishlist and told Lily to remind me about this later on.

With that out of my mind, I started browsing through the page once again. After browsing for a while, I was slowly starting to understand the value of these things.

'Wait! I still have the heavy machine gun. Don't I?'
 
'Yeah. Why? You want to sell it?' Lily asked.

'I do. It's not like I can use it anyway.' I thought and started to run in the direction where I had hidden the Heavy Machine Gun.

I quickly found it and put it on the B&S Worldwide.

After tagging it as a weapon and giving it a rough description, I priced it at 200 white coins.

I had no idea if I had put the right price or if someone will buy it or not. But the process was indeed exciting.

I suddenly had the urge to infiltrate the Army camp and steal all of their weapons and equipments but I stopped the thought as soon as it emerged because I knew that doing such a thing would be suicidal.

After putting up the Heavy Machine Gun for sale, I started scrolling down the site once again and just like before, the next assortment of things surprised me even more.

It was not a weapon. Nor medical supplies or anything like that.

In fact, it was a single info page.

The whole section was nothing but a list of pages.

The names and description of these pages were even more interesting.

Basic info about the Apocalypse:- Reading it will give you a general idea of everything that's going on around in the world.
Price:- 10 white coins

Info related to Mutant Beasts:- Gives you a basic information about the mutant beasts. What to do to avoid them. Their kinds. And how to deal with them.

General info about useful Skill books:- A list of Skill books that are cheap and will be very useful for your survival in the apocalypse.

'The hell, who uploaded all of these pages. And how the hell does this person know so much about he apocalypse.' I thought.

'Something wrong with that?' Lily asked. 'Doesn't your brother also knows about all of these things already.'

Her words shocked me for a bit and this time, I was not able to avoid thinking about it.

Why would Big bro know so many things?

Why is he skilled at fighting?

Why does he seem so neutral in this apocalyptic world, as if it is just another normal day?

I had many questions. And I had many answers. But I did not knew which one was right.

'Is it possible that Rahul had seen the future.' It was the thought that came to my mind before anything else. But I shot it down as soon as it came. Such a thing would not explain how he became so skilled at fighting all of a sudden.

'Or maybe someone had taken over his body. Someone who knew about the apocalypse and was very skilled at fighting.' But if such were case, then why would that guy help me and protect little Neha.

'Maybe he has come from some other dimension?' This thought was a bit scientific and something I could live with. But was that really the truth?

I had no idea.

Beside all of these, I had one more theory. But the theory was so absurd that I decided to ignore it as it changed everything that I've believed in, in my entire life.

But even though I tired hard to not think about it, once the thought entered my mind, I was not able to stop thinking about it no matter how hard I tried.

'Is it possible that…'

'Is is possible that Rahul lived this life before and after he died, he came back to life at the moment when he got in the car accident.'

If that was the case, then that would explain a lot of things. It would explain his behaviour the day when he regained his consciousness.

It would explain his fighting skills.

And it would explain why he knew so much about this Apocalypse.

'What about science. What is all of this?' I thought and thought and soon I realized that although I had come to conclusion, I did not want to believe in it.

Such a thought was far too ridiculous for me to believe in.

But even though I did not wanted to believe in it. I realized that deep in my heart, I had already accepted that conclusion as the truth.

But I did not wanted to think about it anymore. Because thinking in this direction gave rise to horrible thoughts.

'If he's died once and come back, then is he really our big bro?'

'And if he died in that world, then does that means that me and Neha died as well.'

'But I'm quite well and alive right here. Then does this means that he came from a different dimension or something.'

The more I thought, the worse I felt so I decided that I would rather not think about it anymore.

My mind was a jumbled mess so I slapped myself a few times and the crazy thoughts went away. Not completely, but it gave me enough space and time to recompose myself.

I took a deep breath and tried to focus on the thing in front of me. Which was the hologram.

I was intrigued by the person who was able to collect so much information about the apocalypse.

I clicked on the person's name and soon her information came in front of me.

Her face was hidden by a black veil for some reason. And as I looked at her name, I was shocked.

But even though I was shocked, I realized that deep inside my heart, I had already anticipated such a thing.

The name of the person was Rose Valentine.

She had a tag beside her name which said (Enhanced Human I)

But she had another tag beside that.

The tag read (2nd timer)

I looked at the tag intensely for a long time before I finally looked away and sighed deeply.

'Does that mean that she is a person like my Big bro.'

'Someone who came from some other dimension. From the future.'

'If that's the case, then that would make sense.'

'How else would a person be able to know so much about the apocalypse?'

I looked at the message tab beside the person's name and had the sudden urge to contact her.

I clicked the message tab and typed in a few word.

After I typed the message, I pushed the 'Send' button and pretty soon, I got the 'Sent' notification and sighed a bit.

I did not knew if what I had done was stupid or ingenious.

In fact, I had not really meant to ask her such a thing. And when I sent the message, I was not expecting her to reply either.

Just that, I wanted to ask her about this because I knew that I would not be able to ask such questions to Big Bro.

I closed her Profile and was about to scroll down but soon, a 'Bing' sound rang out and I saw a '1' pop up in my message tab.

I opened it up and saw that it was a reply from Rose Valentine.

I was a bit surprised that she give me a reply. And her reply was rather fast on top of that.

After all, it had been a mere few seconds since I sent her the message.

I clicked on the message with trembling hands and the message opened in front me.

I felt a bit elated when I saw them but when I looked at the price, my excitement died down at once.

'Damn this mother fucker. 400 white coins is the amount I would get if I sold 50 1st tier crystals. Is this guy saying that one 2nd tier crystals is equal to ten 1st tier crystals.' I cursed in my mind for a few moments but then I calmed down once again.

I had 136 1st tier crystals left in my possession. But 0 2nd tier crystals. That right there made me realize how rare the 2nd tier crystals were.

If I take my time and put in the efforts, then I would be able to gain a lot 1st tier crystals from the horde, but the same couldn't be said for the 2nd tier crystals.

Although I did not want to pay the price of 50 1st tier crystals, I knew that given enough time, I would be able to get more of these.

The same cannot be said for a 2nd tier crystal.

'Damn it!' I cursed and opened the profile of the guy who was selling these crystals.

I was not sure if you could get scammed in the B&S Worldwide app, so I went ahead and checked his profile and his selling history for a while.

I wanted to make sure that he was legit seller and wouldn't sell me damaged 2nd tier crystals.

In truth, when I opened his profile, I had expected him to be some low level guy who luckily got his hands on these 5 crystals.

If he sold these 5 2nd tier crystals and gained 400 white coins in return, then that would be a very good exchange for him.

Or so I thought when I opened his profile.

But what I saw next shocked me so much that everything that I had been thinking so far seemed to have become nothing but a joke.

The thoughts in my mind became chaotic and I trembled at the words in front of me.

CHAPTER NAME:- 3RD TIMER

On that day, the world we knew came crashing down.
80% of the entire human population was wiped out.
The ones who survived mourned. But it would have been better if those who had died, remained dead.

In this strange and dangerous new world, Ashok tries to survive along with his Elder brother and Little Sister while at the same time, aims to become the strongest that he can be.

The red and blue of the police lights illuminated the dark streets as Tyrone raced after the car in front of him. He gritted his teeth and bore into the gas. His police cruiser flew over the bumps in the road and he silently prayed that his suspension would survive the night.

"The suspect is headed westbound on route five, are there any officers in pursuit?" a voice crackled in through Tyrone's radio. He smacked at the transponder until he found the right button and radioed in.

"Officer Smith here. I am in pursuit of the suspect."

"Affirmative, Officer Smith. A squad is being sent to intercept."

"Roger."

Tyrone turned his full attention back to the road. The black sports car he was chasing was weaving in and out of the light traffic. With a growl, he glanced to the side, seeing on his car's GPS where the roadblock was likely going to be set up. Just a bit farther forward.

The sports car went screeching to a halt. Tyrone hit the brakes and swerved to avoid hitting it, coming to a stop directly behind it, blocking it in.

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer before we ask you any questions. You have the right to a lawyer during questioning..."

The suspect was a white man of average build. Short brown hair, no tattoos, stubble dotting his jaw, he was the spitting image of a face in a crowd.

Tyrone sighed and dragged his hand down his face. Another day, another wannabe record breaker.

"Look, man." Tyrone rubbed his temples. "I know Johnson Chaos got famous when he was in town, but it's still illegal. If he hadn't died, he would have been heavily fined, maybe even jailed."

The suspect turned red and looked away.

"Yes, sir."

Johnson Chaos was a criminal and the leader of a gang of stuntman called the Chaos Warriors. They became famous when Johnson broke the record for the fastest street race in America three years back, dying just after winning. Ever since, the Zhuridge police have had their hands full keeping wannabe copy cats from wreaking havoc.

Tyrone escorted the man back to the station and sat down to write up his report.

"Breaking News!" The TV reported.

Tyrone groaned and let his head thump against the desk. It was too late for this.

"A giant mandrill has broken out of the Zhuridge Radiation Laboratory and is terrorizing downtown, eating hotdog stands and destroying balloon factories."

A few desks over Grover slid down in his chair like a schoolboy.

"Again?" he complained. "Every month it's something."

Tyrone snorted.

"Just like you to complain," he said, leaning back on his seat and smirking at the other.

"Shut up, man, I know you're thinking the same thing!"

Tyrone snorted, "Yeah, yeah, whatever you say."

He was, but he didn't need to admit that.

"Well you can go down there to help if you want, but I'm finishing up this report and going home."

Grover fell out of his chair with a hearty laugh.

"Aw, man, you think I'm stupid or something? No way in hell I'm going out there!"

Tyrone shook his head and went back to his report.

He finished with it just as the TV chimed that the hero Slider was on the scene.

"See, they didn't even need us." Grover gestured to the screen. "Ridiculous. That Slider chick is crazy powerful."

"Be nice. She's been in the hero business nearly longer than we've been alive."

"Yeah, and we still got plenty of problems every day, huh."

"Don't be stupid. It's not a superhero's job to deal with misdemeanors, that's why we even have cops nowadays."

Grover huffed, "I still think they could do a whole lot more."

Tyrone shook his head. There was no use arguing with him when he got like this.

The drive home was uneventful, though the vampires were out more than normal but that was probably due to the now dead giant monkey.

"TYRONE!" a shout tore through the still air and Tyrone jumped, instinctively pulling his gun. He recognized the speaker not a second later.

"Mama?"

"Tyrone!"

Mama Smith came bustling into view, a smile adorning her face. 

"I thought I heard you come in! How is my boy?"

Tyrone felt a smile pull at his features and he scooped up his mama into a big hug.

"I'm good, Mama," he said. "Just got off duty. What are you doing here?"

"Is that any way to greet your mama?"

Tyrone made a show of sighing and rolling his eyes, hiding his smile behind a bored palm.

"How are you, Mama? I love you. It's been forever since I saw you. How's the old man?"

Mama Smith beamed and pecked Tyrone on the temple.

"Your father's sickness is back, but he's a real fighter, that man. I'm in town for the weekend to visit your Aunt Ruth."

Tyrone nodded, and listening while he moved, began removing his jacket and shoes.

"That reminds me," his mama started. He knew where this was going. "When are you gonna bring your mysterious girl around for dinner?"

"I told you, Mama, my partner wants to stay secret a little longer. I'm sure they'll want to meet soon."

Mama Smith huffed and settled down in the armchair in the living room. She was definitely pouting, but Tyrone decidedly payed her no mind.

"Is it Martha?" Mama Smith has taken to guessing.

Tyrone thought of how Martha was saved in his phone as "The Supreme Fartmaster" and chuckled.

"No, and it's not Michelle either, so don't bother asking."

Michelle was "Queen of Tooting," so that's really all the explanation needed.

Mama Smith was definitely pouting now.

Tyrone, to avoid further interrogation, clicked on the television. Some soap he knew his mama liked was on and she turned her attention off him.

An explosion echoed from across town.

"Was that a firecracker?" Mama Smith asked.

Tyrone shrugged.

"Didn't sound like it."

His phone was buzzing like crazy. He walked into the other room and answered Grover's call.

"Dude, are you seeing this?"

"Hello to you too, Grover. Seeing what?"

"Turn on the news."

"Whatever you say, man."

Tyrone stepped back into the living room.

"Mama, need to barrow the TV."

A non comical grunt from Mama Smith was enough for Tyrone to grab the remote and switch he channel.

"-plosion which crippled the city hospital grid. Slider is already on the scene, battling the villain over the city."

"Ty, I can hear your TV, you're seeing what I'm seeing, right?"

"We've got to go help," Tyrone said, springing into action.

"No kidding, man. I'm already headed over there."

"Mama," Tyrone set his phone down to look his mama in the eyes, "I gotta go. I'll be back later, aight?"

Mama Smith nodded, standing and dragging him into a tight hug.

"Stay safe, baby."

Tyrone pulled back after a moment.

"Don't worry, Mama, I will."

As Sameer was lost in his thoughts to achieve a more balanced evolution like his cousin's his eyes darted towards the picture hung on his walls.
Two boys under 10 ; the younger one of them had similar features to Sameer as both their eyes were brown with a little light tone shade and chubby body and was around 5 years whereas the other boy looked more around 9 years lean thin arms and a big head with those two big round bloodshot eyes.

As it he was trying to remember those carefree days; unknowingly he started thinking about the day he saw the lock on his flat.
At that time Sameer was just in Final year of junior high as he was returning from his school he was told by his neighbouring store owner Mr. Aslam that his big brother fainted suddenly and was rushed to the nearest Mazz Hospital.
He remembered that he ran for the hospital as soon as he heard of it and he never have ran that fast in his entire life.
It was soon discovered that brother was suffering from epilepsy and it was a short episode this time.
Doctor's forced him to leave his new job because it was in night shift and according to them it led to lack of sleep which was acting as a trigger for episodes.
He was silent and excluding a very discomforting vibe for a few days we all thought that he was depressed that he have to leave such a good job where the negative point was just the night shift.
After a week of this discomforting vibe dad gave in and had a serious talk with him and he was back to his carefree attitude. Everyone of us knew that he was just acting as the occasional silence and seriousness between cheerful jokes and laughters was normal those day.
Only the weirdness started with him when I told him about a pure pitbull pup being sold outside the local temple. It was as he was on fire; I remember that I was throwing a tantrum towards  mummy not giving me a pet pup and what returned was my brother straight question; "Do you really want it?"
As i could see the fire in his eyes as i replied with a very slow nod like it was all in slow motion.
He stood up from the sofa and caught my arm and replied "Then let's go".
As we reached near the temple we could see many keen faces and it was common to see no real interested parties for the pup.
My brother forcefully went among the crowd and tearing it apart he reached in front of the buyer looked at the pup and asked with a straight face; "How much??"
'Just for you sir 7,000' my brother took the pup in his arms and replied with a straight face "Any siblings of this pup"
'Only 2 more sir but they are not as fit then this'
"12,000 for all three and you give me a red eared slider as a gift"
'Huh, but???' as they were bargaining at the end the price was decided for a whopping 1k.
"Please don't; just Yes or No" that was what my brother said with a very cold attitude as he was not bulging to the new price. 
It was later I found from my brother that they were stolen from a designated and reputable pet shop and he just blackmailed our pup seller and magically it was 1000 rupee; that's it.
'Yes, Sir' with a gulp the seller replied as he was no more enthusiastically showing but cowering as in fear.
 No one knew what a red slider or whatever was at that point but they were just amazed that someone bought the pup and something else for 20k.
"I thought a dog gives birth to litters what of others..."
'Sold to other pet stores sir'
"Alright, Heres 100 you'll get the rest after i see the other two and my red eared slider"
'Ok, sir', "And do leave behind your partner, for insurance purpose"
The man reluctantly left as he knew this was worst day of his life.
I was standing there looking like a fool I knew my brother got approx 30k in his account but spending a little less than half what the hell he is thinking. That was the only thing i can think at that time. Only on our way did I get that we spend just a grand to get not one but three pups and an additional gift from those great men.
It went smooth at the house as the man of question was my brother we got the other two pups in less than half n hour. A male and female it appeared my mom and dad don't like to call them dogs and bitch. So male and female it was.
When we saw the additional two pups we understood why the seller said they were weak; the dog was small then the female itself; a runt of the litter and the female was an albino i.e. full white colour and the only similarity between all of them was their blue eyes.
My brother named the strongest one as Hades, the runt as Hyperion and the Albino as Selene.
Their names where after the Greek Legends gods and titans themselves.
Mom and dad simply called them Hade, Hype and Sel.
They adapted to the three quite easily.
Dad's favorite was Hades and mom's Hyperion and Selene. And it was vice versa.
He the great Sameer was left with nothing as it turned out that the Red Eared Slider was a damn turtle and it was now his brother's pet.
As he was remembering that face of his he started to laugh from the bottom of his heart and tears of joy and old days surfaced on his clear brown eyes. Feeling a sense of discomfort he took of his contact lenses and now he could cry without irritation what usually appeared  little clouded brown eyes turned out to be clear crystal brown.
But Sameer didn't cared about it he as he was lost in the past he could also not know the color of his eyes changing from a crystal brown to a little lite shade of fiery red.

All life on Earth evolved from a single-celled organism that lived roughly 3.5 billion years ago, a simple law of nature but 5 years ago before MC and his family can understand anything the world went into an upheaval and voila , the world started evolving but the pressing issue was that everything evolved from humans to all of the flora and fauna.
An era started were dreaming to live as kings, die as heroes and being immortals was not far fetched. 
MC wished for the well being of his family, and as always the power to rule them all.

He finished typing up the registration form online - name, email and username, the game looked pretty fun - the graphics were cutesy but not cartoony.

 

He downloaded the game with the speed of a Greek God... assuming the Greek God is on a mobility scooter - the game was almost eighty gigabytes.

 

He never actually played an MMO before - a good few FPS games, more strategy games than he can count and even a few sandbox games - but never an MMO - that's partly because up until recently his internet was too shit to handle constant multiplayer - but mostly thanks to his introverted nature.

 

When the game finally download he filled in the account details and clicked play - a "server select" menu appeared - but there was only one server that wasn't greyed out - it showed over five-hundred players online.

 

A message appeared in the centre of the screen, accompanied by an "ok" button, it read: "This is a short tutorial scene to help you understand the controls, you will design your character after completing it!"

He clicked "ok"

Another message window opened - "If you don't understand something, don't hesitate to ask the other players in the chat! Use the enter key to enter the chat!"

He clicked "ok" again and after screwing around with the controls for a few seconds he realised they were pretty standard for modern games.

 

He clicked enter to open the chat box allowing him to type, an icon appeared above his avatar's head, it looked like a chat bubble with three dots inside, when he typed in his message he clicked enter again and in the bottom left my message appeared alongside the dozens of other people typing.

[JohnWillStab: Does anybody know how to play this game?] he wrote, in about three seconds his message got buried under a dozen new messages completely unrelated to his one.

 

[XPhaxX: Hey, fam - if you need a tutrial - just go into the help menu!] The reply was in a separate window labelled "Private Chats" 

Seeing his chance he wrote back - this time no icon appeared above his head, it only appears when he writes on the public chat.

[JohnWillStab: How do I do that?] he asked back ignoring their spelling mistake.

 

A few seconds later he got the reply [XPhaxX: Hold 'ALT', then use function keys, I think F4 is the help one?] 

[JohnWillStab: Yeah - no... I'm not that gullible.]

[XPhaxX: Shucks...] 

[JohnWillStab: So is there an actual guide? Because the tutorial is... a little old fashioned.]

[XPhaxX: There's a help button on the login screen] 

[JohnWillStab: k, thanks.]

He logged out and looked for the button before realising he was lied to... 

 

 

He logged back in, appearing in the same forested area as before - his character stood on a patch of dirt surrounded by a forest of gold and red leaves, the trees had white logs and the grass was yellowy-green. 

[JohnWillStab: What the hell men?!]

[XPhaxX: You're asking for help in global chat... what did you expect?] 

 

Realising the chat was not on his side 'JohnWillStab' or 'John' for short decided to try and figure it out by himself - some keyboard tapping revealed the character was controlled by the usual 'WASD' keyboard keys, the camera could be moved by holding down the left mouse button and moving it.

 

On the bottom of the screen was a row of empty squares - he could click on them but a red error message appeared reading: "Missing Spell!".

 

After moving his mouse around John came to the realisation that there was a glowing, yellow circle below the feet of a small object near the edge of the dirt patch he stood on, he slowly navigated towards it and climbed atop the object... it was a mailbox,

 

Suddenly his character fell down onto the ground limply before standing back up seconds later - "Guess this is the ragdoll physics they wrote about on the box..." he thought.

 

After some trial and error, he right-clicked the mailbox leading to a new interface - boxes like those on the bottom of the screen except for two boxes - one had the picture of a sword, the other a scroll.

He clicked on the sword and another box opened - [From - Admin: Welcome! Before you begin your journey into this world - you must select a race and class - this zone is a tutorial and as a result, anything you do here will have no effect on your final character.]

 

After reading the message he clicked into the other box - the one with the picture of the scroll, [From - ???: DN'T DELETE ANY OF THIS!!!] Aside from the text there was also an icon below - it looked like a piece of gold [Gold Coin (x9,999,999)] the name and count of the item appeared when he hovered his cursor over it - he clicked it and heard the sound of coins jingling as his character became surrounded by bright lights and various sound effects.

The messages appeared one after the other before quickly disappearing. "What the hell was that about?!" he thought.

 

The screen went black as a message appeared on the screen - [Create Character] below it was a button reading "confirm" so he clicked it.

 

He was taken to a character creation screen - [First, you must select a race! - Each race starts in a different zone and has different perks, so be careful which one you pick!] 

There was human wearing generic clothing standing in the middle of the screen, to the left were eight pictures of what looked like faces.

 

He hovered over the first one [Human]

[Humans are the most generic race - not buffs or debuffs! They start in the dry planes.] 

"That sounds like an alright race..." he thought before checking the other ones.

 

[Ogre]

[The ogres are a race of powerful warriors and shamans, the tough climate made them strong - they are stronger than a human but slower than them - they can go twice as long as a human without food or drink. Orge players start in the stone forest.]

 

[Wolfkin]

[Wolfkin are a race of feral beastfolk living in the wild glacier mountains - with both speed and strength greater than a human their weakness comes from the low health and inability to handle hot temperatures.

 

[Seafolk]

[Seafolk are a noble race of mages and healers, they are slower and weaker than humans - however, they can breathe underwater, swim faster and can replenish their stamina by being in the water - potentially allowing them to not eat any food. The major downside of the seafolk is that their stats are halved when they are on land.]

 

[Undead]

[The undead have a permanently full stamina meter meaning they never eat, drink or sleep - they can also never be poisoned and are immune to many spells - however, an undead is considered a monster and can be killed free of consequences.]

 

[Harpy]

[The harpy trades health and speed for their ability to fly for a limited time - a harpy is capable of eating raw food products without taking any loss to their health or stamina]

 

[Demon]

[The demons are a difficult race and are not recommended for new players as they are hostile to every fraction - this means that even fellow demons will be able to attack you if they wish. The demon has greater strength and speed as well as health - however, they must wear a disguise if they have any intention of working with others.]

 

[Toakin]

[Toakin sometimes called frogkin are a race of traders - capable of the highest non-combat move speed and no debuffs regardless of the terrain. However, they cannot eat cooked food and are inferior in every other way.]

 

The man was finding it difficult to choose between the human and undead - he knew he wanted to play an assassin like character - jumping off rooftops and tossing poisoned blades at his foes, so he settled on the undead.

 

The image of the human was replaced by the undead - next, he could select the gender of his character - he selected male.

 a 'decomposition' slider let him choose how badly rotted the body should be - '1' was basically a vampire - pale and with what looked like eyeliner but otherwise human - '10' was a skeleton, he chose a 1.

 

The 'race' allowed for the undead to be a different type of undead - like an undead seafolk or undead harpy, naturally, they wouldn't receive any of the given race's bonuses.

He decided to stick to an undead human.

 

After fiddling with the hair and facial features he decided on a black ponytail and handlebar moustache and a slight fringe.

 

There were four sliders - Age, Weight, Muscle and Height, he set them to his desired settings, the undead looked young - like he died in his mid-twenties, with visible muscles and average height.

 

[Now that you have selected your race - you have to pick your classes!] 

The interface shifted to show three icons - a sword, bow and wand.

Since John wanted to be a staby-rogue, he selected the sword.

 

[The melee class uses close-range weapons and martial arts abilities to defeat their enemies!]

Below appeared a dozen or so icons - various weapon types appeared, axes, maces, long swords, short swords, hammers, dagger, flails, shields and whatnot.

He selected the dagger and tried to click the continue button - [You need to select two sub-classes! Pick another one!] 

 

Looking through the icons he selected the fist icon - "An assassin should know how to fight someone hand-to-hand, right?" the man though.

 

He clicked continue and the screen faded out to black one last time before it faded into a dull blue forest - like a dark, grey, blue-green forest - the trees had grey bark and the sky was cloudy and stormy.

 

Below he finally saw the icons - he hovered his mouse over the first one [Slash: deals 1 x (Weapon damage*strength)]

[Shiv: deals 2 x (Weapons damage*strength)+ distance bonus - Note: can't use in combat.]

[Kick: deals 0.5 strength]

 

On his top left, he saw a portrait image of his character - as well as his level [Level: 1]

 

[Tip! : Click 'c' to see your character stats!]

John did as instructed and saw his stat page.

 

[Stamina: 100/100]

[Health: 20/20]

[Magic: 0/0]

 

[Intelect: 5]

[Strength: 1]

[Speed: 1]

[Acrobatics: 1]

[Dexterity: 1]

[Charisma: -100]

[Karma: 0]

John closed the stat menu and decided to just head in one direction. After a solid minute of walking a small yellow message appeared in the corner of the screen [Speed +0.01]

He checked his stats page to confirm and his speed has in fact increased.

 

The next thing happened in a flash - his character burst into flames, he fell to the floor in a ragdoll state as his health drained down to zero in about two seconds. 

[Your character has died, you may wait ten minutes to respawn at your place of death or respawn at the nearest town now.] read the message.

 

He clicked the second option and appeared in a town - the buildings looked tall and gothic in architecture - with black fences and large windows - in perfect unison several NPCs called out "Stay back, undead!" as they charged towards him - John broke into a sprint (not literally, he walked at the normal speed) heading for the gates, he moved his camera to see what's behind him only to see that he was still chased by ten or so guards - and their speed stat was a lot higher than his.

 

Suddenly guards appeared from the other side of the gate and attacked John - killing him in a single slash.

[Your character has died, you may wait ten minutes to respawn at your place of death or respawn at the nearest town now.] he chose the second option again - he appeared a few meters away - he didn't even have a loading screen this time - the guards ran towards him and despite his strategy of "running in another direction" he got killed again.

 

[JohnWillStab: THIS GAME IS SO F!@KING BROEKN!] he complained in chat.

[WillWillWas: ...you chose undead, didn't you?]

[JohnWillStab: yeah! Why even have a race if it's unplayable!?!]

[XxFoxlyxX: Tis why we REAL GAMERS play as the frogkin!]

[WillWillWas: stfu fox...]

[XxFoxlyxX: No i]

[JohnWillStab: ...so... how do I play an undead? Do I have to make a new character?]

[Kilin_: You have to grind a bit - but undead get infinite stamina so you'll be op eventually.]

He typed in the command and received a notification ["XxFoxlyxX" Muted! Use the command /Unmute to hear "XxFoxlyxX" again!]

 

[Bonifacius: HALT - Traveler!] appeared a message in a separate dialogue box labelled "Local chat"

[Bonifacius: *looks at JohnWillStab*]

[Bonifacius: Thee seemeth sick.]

[JohnWillStab: What?]

[Bonifacius: didst thee not heareth me - I am asking if 't be true thou art sick]

[JohnWillStab: ...]

[JohnWillStab: What?]

[Bonifacius: *sighs*]

[JohnWillStab: ...]

[Bonifacius: I cannot breaketh charact'r]

[JohnWillStab: ...]

[Bonifacius: doth thee needeth help]

JohnWillStab saw the man approach him - it was a human, with pale, almost white hair - the character was dressed in heavy-looking white armour - a massive shield and thick sword on his back.

A short beard clung to the man's jawline.

 

[JohnWillStab: Look - I don't know what the *'s are about - but try asking for help in public chat - I don't know what you're saying.]

 

[Bonifacius: ...]

[JohnWillStab: ?]

[Bonifacius: ...]

[Bonifacius: mine own god, art thee an undead?! I has't to killeth thee!]

 

The armoured man drew his shield and sword and approached John - [Bonifacius: *Strikes the enemy*]

While Bonifacius was writing JohnWillStab ran up to him and started spamming the [kick] spell causing Bonifacius to keep replaying the "hit" animation.

[Bonifacius: thou art a stout foe! but I has't the pow'r of god on mine own side!] 

[Bonifacius: *Strikes the enemy*]

JohnWillStab continued kicking the enemy, Bonifacius cast [Shield Bash] killing JohnWillStab instantly and knocking his ragdoll corpse flying through the sky and landing on the stone ground - he used the mouse to move the camera around to see where he was.

 

JohnWillStab was in the town again...

This story had been deleted, thank you for reading thus far.

Early the next morning, 0500 Earth Time, Trace was awoken by a loud noise. 

"Alright lazybones! Get outta bed now! We've got a whole day of fun maneuvers ahead of us!" The man shouting at them, Trace remembered, was Gunnery Sergeant Johan. However, the man also insisted that squad members call him "gunney", and so they did.

Proceeding to breakfast in the canteen, Trace shoveled down some kind of sticky green ooze that was supposedly "steak". Much as he hated to admit it, it really did taste like steak… although they were a bit off on the shape, color, texture, and pretty much everything else.

Suddenly James, the squads Texan sniper, sat down next to Trace.

"Heya there. How's it goin so far?" He said.

"Well, I've only just started…" Trace replied jokingly.

"Well then, first impressions! You gotta have some, everyone has 'em!" James said.

"Well… we seem to have a lot more freedom then we had on the base. Things seem pretty clean and orderly, but the ships in need of some remodeling, seeing as most of these things are either rusting or running on the backup systems for the backups.  Other than that? Not sure. I guess I'm pretty eager for my first mission." Trace said.

"Well, you got the remodeling part right! I doubt this ship has seen so much as a new part since she was made! But the Odysseus is a good old ship, and she'll treat ya better than the vacuum of space!" James said.

After breakfast, at 10:00, the squad was lead by gunney Johan to a simulator room. Walking through the automatic doors, Trace saw rows and rows of sleek, silver pods lined side-by-side, seeming to go as far as the eye can see.

"So this is where the Union budget goes…" Trace thought to himself.

After entering a pod and going through the basic diagnostics, he was hooked up to the system and fell into what seemed like sleep.

But when Trace opened his eyes again, he was on the surface of a barren desert, surrounded by similarly disconcerted squad members. 

After about ten or so minutes, gunney Johan got everyone under control and in neat rows and columns, before proceeding to explain the goal of this.

"We will have two hours to prepare from the moment I start this simulation. We will be fighting off an endless number of enemies, and our goal is to take as many of those bastards down with us as we can. The goal of the exercise is to see how well the unit will work without the commanding officers."

"In addition, each squad member will be ranked on how many enemies they take down and how long they survive for. There is a ship wide leaderboard for squads and individual rankings in these exercises, so do the best you can."

"After we finish these, squad members are free to continue trying in their own time, except they will be ranked on a separate leaderboard without squads and will have only half an hour to prepare."

"The exercise begins in… 3! 2! 1! Go!"

Suddenly, on everyone's virtual HUD a timer appeared in the top right corner, displaying a timer counting down from 2 hours. In addition, health, ammunition, currently held weapons, and a settings button were shown. 

Soon enough, gunney Johan started assigning everyone tasks to complete, like setting up anti-aircraft emplacements or trench digging. Trace, as the newbie, drew a short straw and was assigned to be the "lookout", despite the fact that there was guaranteed to be no enemies for 2 hours.

After about half an hour of standing in the shoddily-made watchtower that he had been told to assemble, Trace got bored and started trying to mess around with his HUD. After a while of trial-and-error, Trace found that by focusing closely on the settings icon, he could open settings. After opening it, a pop-up covered the center of his vision. Looking through the multitude of options, Trace started going through each one. Most of it was just the average stuff, like date and time, font, opacity of the HUD, and so on.

But after entering a section called "Advanced", Trace uncovered a multitude of grayed-out options. Attempting to open one resulted in a prompt for a password, one Trace didn't know. But right now, he had another hour and a half, so why not have some fun?

Trace started off with simple passwords, like "Password", "123456", etc., before moving on to more random things like "Pizza" or "Damn Martians!"

After almost an hour of this, Trace tried out "Divide by zero".

And to his extreme shock, as well as laughter, the prompt dissapeared and the boxes became selectable! 

"Wow, whoever made the password was probably as bored as me!" Trace laughed to himself.

After getting over his surprise, Chase opened the option named "Time Dilation". Within this menu, Trace discovered that there was a slider that went up to 24, as well as a warning. The warning said: "Do not use without prior experience or mental preparation, as it can cause effects ranging from dizziness and nausea, to vomiting, or in extreme cases, death."

"Time dilation? Wait, so does that mean I could make one hour in the simulator become half an hour in real life? Why would they keep this locked? This would save so much time!" Trace thought to himself, before attempting to move the slider.

"Error: Cannot edit designated value during multiplayer. Please try again later." 

Trace was confused at first, before realizing, "Oh, makes sense. I can't have things happen half as slow for me than it does for everyone else, or at least it won't let me."

Moving on, Trace found a variety of other things in the menu, before hearing a resounding beeping noise.

Jerking out of his stupor, Trace realized that the timer had run out, and enemies were due to arrive any minute now!

"Everyone, get to where you're assigned! Remember to do the best you can! And don't you dare let me down, or I'll kick your ass back to boot camp!" gunney Johan shouted to the squad.

Looking around, Trace saw everyone was in entrenched positions, buildings, or manning turrets… everyone except him, that was. Trace panickedly started trying to climb out of the watchtower to ask where his position was,  before being stopped by gunney Johan.

"Private Trace, right? Where the hell do you think you're going? I assigned you to that watchtower as a lookout, now stay there and do your job!" gunney Johan shouted.

Little did the gunnery sergeant know, Trace could fully see the smirk on the man's lips. Knowing full well he was being forced into a terrible position, Trace did it anyways as he couldn't disobey orders without incurring punishment. 

Getting back to position, Trace noticed blurry objects on the horizon. Using a pair of binoculars, Trace tried to get a closer look at exactly what they were dealing with. 

"Reporting to gunney Johan, sir! There looks to be one or two armored divisions made of hover tanks, a full squadron of bombers, and maybe 8 battalions of armored infantry approaching us!" Trace reported.

"Alright. Everyone, get ready!" gunney Johan shouted out.

By the point that the enemies were close enough to make out with the naked eyes, everyone seemed to be a bit nervous, including Trace. It may have been a simulation, but it was one so realistic that you even sweat in it. 

After another minute or so, the enemy were in range of the turret emplacements around the hastily-constructed camp.

"All units, fire at will! Take down those bombers and tanks, fast!" gunney Johan ordered.

Suddenly, the quad-barreled beasts of turret emplacements spun up their barrels for half a second, before suddenly unleashing hell on the enemy lines. The barrels glowed red-hot as they spat out seemingly unending lines of bullets straight into the opposing troops. The armor-piercing rounds tore straight through the first line of enemy infantry as though they didn't exist before colliding with the enemy tanks.

Suddenly, the enemy returned fire. Massive booms echoed out as each of the enemy hover tanks fired from their double-barreled turrets, huge shells being flung straight at the emplacements. However, this had been predicted, as the emplacements had angled armor placing as well as secondary force fields, and all but one of the tanks shells bounced off the emplacements. The one shell that made it through, however, immediately and instantly destroyed the entire emplacement, but somehow only heavily wounded the squad member manning the emplacement.

Observing all of this while crouched in his inadequate watchtower, Trace suddenly realized that everyone had forgotten about the enemy bombers! Looking up, Trace discovered that the automatic anti-aircraft systems had taken down 4 of the 8 bombers, yet the bombers were almost directly above Trace.

And then it happened. The bombers finally dropped the first of their payloads, and the first one dead was Trace. Without a single chance to fight, a chance to do anything, he was dead.

Within the next 10 minutes, Trace watched as person by person, squad members left the simulators until eventually the whole squad had been wiped out.

Looking somewhat disappointed, gunney Johan looked over the squad before saying "That has got to be the most embarrassing fight I've ever been in. Double sim time for the next week as punishment. Alright, let's go check how badly you all did on the leaderboard." 

Leading the squad over to a wall near the doorway of the simulator room, gunney Johan stood in front of a massive screen on the wall. Evidently, it was the squad and individual leaderboard. Looking all the way at the bottom, the 504th marine squad was quickly spotted as the lowest scoring squadron. And among the members of the squadron, Trace was the absolute lowest scoring.

In the far future, a young man named Trace is drafted into the marines. As he fights for his life, he discovers not only is he good at fighting, but he enjoys it. Will Trace survive and win the war? Or will he become yet another casualty, lying dead on the ground?

However, this story also contains a darker side... Trace has a secret so well kept, not even he knows about it...

'Ah... MasterStone, They said this would be getting a new update in the next couple days.' Morael thought to himself, as he silently looks through the shelves on the gaming rack, 'I wonder why no one's taken it, I thought the hype on it was huge?' He pondered a bit more before quickly snatching the game off the shelves Like someone else was going to get it. Walked over to the cashier and put the Game, and Headset on the counter softly. While Morael spends all of his time inside, He's gotten a little Anti-Social, over being a shut-in, Luckily he lived close-by.

After finally getting home, He packed down and open up the box to the game, the ring shone beautifully, he went to get the Headset out of the box. Even though it was tough fight, he got the machine out of the box, 'finally I get to make my character' Morael thought up, oh dear how was he wrong. Oh my how long the load times were, not to even mention the longest signing-in process Morael has ever seen. After wasting 30 minutes of his pitiful life, Morael heard the loud, "DING" Notifying him, and everyone around his apartment of his finished download. After loading in, he was greeted with the kind words of a woman, "Welcome! To MasterStone." The woman says, "Your character creation shall be fairly short, Please wait for a second while we get the feature set-up." She says next, 'Wow these guys paid for a voice actor? Why?' He sat in astonishment, 'well I want to standout, but not to cocky type of standout' he thought before a bright screen flashed before him, "Do you want the Tutorial?" The woman asked, 'hmm... what do I do to say no?' He says as he looks around like a fool, "Say yes, or no." The woman continues, "Oh, uh... no." Morael says, "O.K, I shall take my parting."

With that she was gone, 'Now, what to do' He starts looking around again, Finding a nice long bar, 'What do I do?' Morael was more confused than ever, 'Oh... it's a slider.' sounding Einstein, as soon as he looked at the slider a little body-shaped thing appeared on screen, thinking that was his character he slides the slider all the way to the left, causing the body to look like a female, 'Oh... that must be the gender slider.' So he put it right around the middle of the Masculine side and the middle, causing the body to look more like a child than anything else. Creepy. Another slider appears, he quickly puts it all the way against the left,  giving the boyish blob in the middle very long hair, so to balance this out, he slams the slider to the other side, giving it very short hair, when he puts it to the middle, giving the thing a nice haircut that reaches to its shoulder. that fits what he looks like in real life, After that, it keeps going on the way that it normally does, adds a slider, he chooses.

When he gets in, he's greeted with a good bunch of people, and buildings, as soon as he's done with admiring game, 'oh wow there are a surprising amount of people he-' before he could even get his thought out, "We've detected murderous intent towards you" and with that he immediately died. "Respawning in, 5..., 4..., 3..., 2..., 1..." with that he repawned, 'that was a little harsh.' but Morael kept going on his pity path, 'where am I?' he had not spawned in town, he was in the middle of the forest, Morael starts to walk around like he doesn't have a purpose, he bumps into a guy, "Watch where you're going" The guy says, "or I'll just have to kill you."

"Azriel, what did I tell you about being rude?" the girl behind pouts

"Yeah, yeah, I got it mom." Azriel says, obviously annoyed

"sorry about this guy, I'm Caeda." she says politely

"oh... hi." Morael says awkwardly, "I was just trying to go to the town, but then someone killed me."

"oh? that happens a lot, people in this game are unforgiving." she says with pity, "well do you want to party up with us?" Azriel jaw dropped

Morael shrugs, "I wasn't planning on teaming with anyone."

"oh that's a shame..." Caeda says, "well friend me, so if you ever want to party you can just send me a message."

"oh, uh ok..." Morael stutters, with that Morael practically ran away, he does the only smart thing he's done all day and starts to farm mobs, he tries to attack a, "Wild Boar" he was obliterated, he some how made it away from that beast, after almost dying, this notification pops up, "You've unlocked a new Skill" the systems says "You've unlocked the Skill, [Rage] Do you want to equip the Skill?" 'Wait, What? how did I get this?' he quickly says, "equip." a bright yellow light surrounded him, The system again says "You've Level Up! What do you want to put your stat point into?" by this point, Morael was getting feed up with the constant notifications, "Put it all into Agility" 

"Are you sure? This process is irreversible." The system asks

"Yes." Morael says without a stutter

"Confirmed." The system says, with this Morael become not the much faster but is still a deference, 'I wonder if I can out run things now? Also what about my Skill?' Morael says, "Skills" again a bright tab pops up

After look at all of these, Morael realized that he could only do his skill for a nice, 5 seconds, 'wha...? why so short?' after sitting there a while he finally says, "close" he starts to wonder around aimlessly like he always does

After exploring, running, and winning sometimes, he had gotten to level 3 and was well over halfway there when he realised that he had picked up a couple of items, "oh yeah, Inventory." the Tab appeared and Morael started scrolling through the first thing on the list was,

'oh wow that's a good weapo-.' as his eyes hit the, "Equipment Requirement" his mind exploded. 'onto the next one' as he completely skips over that one.

'Finally something I can use, and it's not a bad weapon' Morael thought, 'All I have to is raise my strength by one point' with that he goes on to the next Item

'oh Armour... something I need.' he thought about it, 'I should save up for this. this will profit me in the long run.' he kept scrolling through items, but nothing was as important as the three he saw. Either they were plants, and or materials like wood or stone. After exploring a while of exploring, Morael came across a cave labeled, "The Dalong cave" after debating a while he decides not to go in there and is going to try again another time. Morael stumbled upon a, "Lake Ram Village"(A Lake Ram is like a DragonKin)

At the village, the villagers are surprisingly kind and welcoming, 'Wow I thought they were going to be rude.' He wondered around till he found the market, After entering the Market he was surrounded by Lake Ram, and Humans alike, "Uwerng, Delunxe!" The Lake Ram next to him says obviously looking at Morael, Morael started waving his hands around to show that he didn't understand, luckily the Woman knew english, "Oh so you're not from around here huh..?" Morael furiously starts to nod his head, "Oh... now that makes sense, so Kid where you from?" Morael tries to think about it, but before he could even get a good look at his surroundings he was murdered, so he just shrugs, "Now that's not good, eh? Well where did you come from?" Morael just points at the dense evergreen forest. She makes a puzzled face, "what do yah mean, you come from the forest?"

"It's the last place I remember being." Morael finally says 'I don't think Tokyo is a place here, huh?'

While the puzzled face on her increases, "Well anyways, The names Suki, what's yours?"

"Morael." Morael says calmly, "Why did you start up this conversation?"

Suki taken aback from the forwardness, "I just want to know if you'd like to buy something."

"No, I have no money on me" Morael says, "Maybe, next time" He waves as he walks away, 'odd, wasn't expecting the npc's to be so "alive".' Morael ponders as he walks around. After wondering around a while, Morael couldn't find a single stand that was within his price range, so Morael goes back to his, "Home" After walking straight into the forest, he saw something different from all the monsters. It was huge, like the size of a bus huge, 'and people can beat these things?' Morael thought astonished, 'I have no chance, even if I use the Rage skill, I'd still lose.' After this terrifying thought Morael shivers and escapes, 'I'll make sure I avoid that thing with my life.' 

As Morael runs away, a nice bright thought pops in his mind, he turns around and runs towards the little hamlet, trying his hardest not to bother the, "behemoth" sleeping. After he makes it to town he starts running around like a retard, Until he finally see the lady from earlier, "Hello, Excuse?" After getting her attention, he asks, "I would like a job here." Suki's face lit up, like a bulb

"Oh, Really?!" she asked, obviously surprised, "Well, Of course! I've been looking for an Errand Boy."

Morael, obviously pleased with the outcome, "Well! When can I start working?"

"Well sorry, Boy. I'm shutting down shop for today! I'll catch you tomorrow, huh?" she says reassuringly

"Oh... ok then, I'll see you tomorrow, Boss!" Morael says with determined look on his face.
