Dale a 24 years old guy who found the true meaning of love after 24 years of existence.

As they expanded out from the 15 regions, they found some regions with some Dynasty Legatees. Of course, they were not gathered together and were instead scattered. There were Five Legatees in total who occupied 20 regions.
Each of them only controlled two or three regions, and some of them were not even fully controlled. There were also some regions between them, so if one had to draw a circle around them, there would be 20 regions in total.
They were the most powerful ones in those regions; not only did they have powerful indigenous residents, but they also had gathered many players. They had decent strength, but that was only in comparison to other Nation or Dynasty Legatees.
The Vietnamese Guard had no reason to attack these Dynasty Legatees because if they could not give a good reason, other people would feel threatened if they did so. After all, the Vietnamese Guard was already the largest faction in Vietnam.
If they casually destroyed a Dynasty Legatee's faction, everyone would feel threatened and ally together to attack them. It would be the same situation as Great Qin in China.
As such, it would be better to have Great Qin destroy those five Dynasty Legatee's factions.
The first was the Tran Dynasty, which was created in 1225. When Ly Chieu Hoang ceded the throne, Tran Thai Tong was enthroned. Because he was surnamed Tran, the Dynasty was called the Tran Dynasty.
The Tran Dynasty lasted for around 170 years, and in 1400, Ho Quy Ly dethroned the last Tran Emperor and declared himself Emperor, establishing the Ho Dynasty and causing the Tran Dynasty to perish.
The Tay Son Dynasty was established in 1771 when Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Lu, and Nguyen Hue started peasant rebellions and attacked various cities, overthrowing the Quang Nam Quoc. Because the home district of the rebel leaders was Tay Son, the Dynasty came to be called the Tay Son Dynasty.
However, the Tay Son Dynasty was soon overthrown by Gia Long with French assistance. In May of 1802, Gia Long established Vietnam's last Dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty.
The Dinh Dynasty was a vassal state created by China. Its creator, Dinh Bo Lin, unified Vietnam by defeating all the rebellious warlords and proclaimed himself Emperor in 968. In just 12 years, in 980, he was assassinated, and Le Hoan, the commander-in-chief of the army, dethroned the new child Emperor, causing the Dinh Dynasty to perish.
The Mac Dynasty was a Dynasty during the Southern and Northern Dynasties period. In 1527, Mac Thai To, a captain of the imperial guard of the previous Dynasty, usurped the throne and established the Mac Dynasty. In 1592, the Mac Dynasty was overthrown by the Later Le Dynasty. The Mac Dynasty's imperial family retreated to Cao Bang in the north of Vietnam until 1677 when the Later Le Dynasty assisted the Qing Dynasty to settle three rebellions and officially destroyed them.
The Trinh Lords were a noble feudal clan who were the de facto rulers of Northern Vietnam. It was controlled by the Trinh family and participated in the Later Le Dynasty overthrowing the Mac Dynasty.
Trinh Bong was the last of the Trinh Lords. Because of conflict with Later Le, he ruled for only one year before disappearing, and the Trinh Lords fell out of power.
Great Qin had precise intelligence on the five Legatees. The Tran Dynasty had a population of four million, nine City Lords, and 200,000 players; the Tay Son Dynasty had a population of three million, eight City Lords, and 250,000 players; the Dinh Dynasty had a population of five million, ten City Lords, and 300,000 players.
The Mac Dynasty had a population of four million, seven City Lords, and 150,000 players; the Trinh Lords had a population of five million, nine City Lords, and 400,000 players.
That was the strength of the five Legatees. In total, they had 43 City Lords and 1.3 million players, a total military force of about four million or so.
How could Great Qin care about such a meager force? Great Qin already saw them as something it had conquered already.
Since Great Qin was going to destroy them, the Vietnamese Guard did not have to care much about them and continued to expand outwards to 50 or so regions, which were controlled by system main city factions.
The players in those regions suffered a lot of hardship: they were forced to either submit to the system main cities or be slaughtered. There were only those two choices; there was no option for remaining neutral.
Taking away the original 15 regions, the 20 regions that the Dynasty Legatees occupied, and the 50 other regions out of the 120 regions that Great Qin wanted to take over, there were still 35 regions.
The system factions were incredibly savage to the players, making the players angry, but because the system factions had all gathered together, the players did not dare to attack. They could only hold in their anger.
Now, the Vietnamese Guard started to exaggerate the threat of the system factions. The Vietnamese described the system factions to be violent, cruel, and inhumane, comparing them to demons. They urged players to quickly leave and gave a notice that they would construct a Great Wall to prevent the system factions from suddenly attacking ordinary players.
This was supported by many Vietnamese players. All players knew about the system main cities slaughtering players, and since they were such a great threat, choosing to construct a Great Wall was a good idea.
Following this, the Vietnamese Guard started to construct the Great Wall – which was actually for Great Qin to defend against Vietnam.
Indeed, this Great Wall was for Great Qin rather than Vietnam; otherwise, why would Great Qin have the Vietnamese Guard construct it? After devouring so many regions, Great Qin would definitely be retaliated against by all of Vietnam, so Zhao Fu wanted to construct a Great Wall in advance.
In actuality, it would not be too difficult for Great Qin to wipe out Vietnam. However, if it really did this, how could the countries around Vietnam feel at ease? They would all ally together and attack Great Qin.
Zhao Fu did not want them to drag down Great Qin, so he could only do things one step at a time. That way, the matter would not be too serious and would not make others feel so threatened so quickly.
As they constructed the first Great Wall, the Vietnamese Guard then continued to make excuses and started to construct a second Great Wall beyond the 35 regions. That way, all 120 regions that Zhao Fu wanted would be within his grasp.
Because there were not enough people to build the Great Wall, the Vietnamese Guard hired many players to help out, giving them good wages.
There were naturally many people who were willing to participate, as they could earn money, protect their own safety, and help out Vietnam. They would be helping to re-establish order and build a brighter future – however, they had never expected that these two Great Walls were actually for the enemy.
By the time they found out, it would be too late, as these regions would belong to Great Qin. The regions that Great Qin devoured would become its strength and would never be able to be taken back. All there would be were regrets.
The Vietnamese Guard first reduced the threat of Great Qin, then reduced the threat of the system factions. Both of these were great threats to Vietnam, and now that the Vietnamese Guard had done this, its reputation skyrocketed, and countless people praised it.


“Ding! Soulbinding has been successfully completed; you will now head to the Heaven Awaken World.” After hearing this, Zhao Fu’s vision darkened as he fell to the ground.

With bleak prospects in the real world, Zhao Fu’s life is turned around when countless crystals fell from the sky one night, which people could use to enter an alternate, game-like world. After obtaining an ancient Chinese empire’s legacy, Zhao Fu uses his intellect and resourcefulness to develop his own empire from a tiny village. I knew dad disapproved of me grabbing Mac's bottle. Dad's philosophy, understandably, was one of choice. Mac stood in the doorway and looked like he'd like to tear into me. 

I had a feeling it was my dad standing at his shoulder that kept Mac in place. He didn't need to worry though, either of them. I'll give the bottle back in a minute. 

I dug through my saddlebags to pull out auntie's jar of salve. I set it on the bike's seat. Auntie was a great herbalist and used a combination of essential oils that helped with aches and bruises. Then I dug in deeper. 

I pulled out the brown paper-wrapped package that Grandfather had given me. It was time. 

I heard Dad's sudden indrawn breath. He nudged his way past Mac, but stopped after a few steps. 

"You'll need a fire."

Dad came over, took the box of wooden matches from me, and headed toward the back yard. 

I looked at Mac, holding out his bottle to him. He came over slowly. I could tell he was thinking about asking, but my dad's reaction to the package in my hands had Mac hesitating. I closed up the saddlebags. 

"Mac, among my mother's people, well, it's probably different than you're used to. Just bear with me. This is my first time using it. Come on." 

I could smell the fire from the backyard, even though there wasn't hardly any smoke. 

The guys followed me back. Curiosity won over any attitude they might still have. 

I went to the far side of the small fire Dad had started. I sat cross legged, motioning for Mac to sit. Dad sat an arms length away on my left. Mac awkwardly attempted a cross legged position.

"Sit however Mac, doesn't matter."

There was a certain amount of reverence to my motions as I unwrapped my gift. The paper got fed to the fire. I beheld a long leather pouch, the beadwork showing a wolf's head. I gently untied the pouch, opened the flap, and slid out the contents. 

 I brought the small pouch of tobacco and herbs that grandfather had included with my gift to the center of my lap. I had to take a moment to just enjoy looking at the workmanship on the formal pipe. 

The beauty of the pipe captivated me. It had an antler bowl instead of a stone one. The dark stem held the hint of wolves; they were partially carved, with burnt engravings highlighting the images into the wooden stem, taking advantage of the wood grain. The images of wolves could only partially be made out, as if they were hidden by the very smoke that would come out of the pipe. 

I knew the stem had been carved by my mother. Looking at dad, I saw tears streaming down his face. Apparently this was his first time seeing the formal pipe.

Mom's craftsmanship with her bowls and cups had been famous, locally at least. I wonder when she made it, how long grandfather had saved it. My fingers brushed against the antler bowl, remembering my first major kill as a wolf. I knew where the piece of antler had come from.

I opened the smaller pouch, pulled out enough tobacco to fill the pipe. There is a ceremony among my people; prayers offered east, south, west, north, toward the ground below and the firmament above. 

I took enough puffs to start it, drawing the smoke in. It was as if I could feel the smoke dancing and swirling within me. This wasn't just a casual smoke. This was a pipe ceremony. I had mostly only watched, participated in just a few. I had never started one myself, but I knew how it went. 

I went through the steps of the ceremony, giving considerate thought to every word spoken in my mother's native tongue. 

For the first time, I truly prayed to the spirits, to the Great Father, Creator of life. Peace for my friend who was drawn to the bottle to drown his pain. Peace for my father who still so profoundly felt the absence of my mother. Peace for those wolves out there who had the wolf forced upon them and knew nothing of what they truly were. Peace for myself, not knowing where this journey would take me. 

The official part of the ceremony done, I paused, cleared my lungs of all smoke. 

Smoke in, I held it. I let it absorb all of my insecurities, all my doubts and fears. I blew it all out. My eyes were closed, but I could see the smoke gather like a mist in front of me. A second puff, drawing in strength, hope. I let it fill me; then sent it out to share it with those willing to accept it. 

I opened my eyes then. It was only Mac and my dad by the fire. The other guys were standing back. That was ok. 

A third draw, eyes closing again. The gathering mist behind my eyelids swirled. There was the hint of a shape solidifying within the billowing smoke. 

 I opened my eyes, releasing the smoke. I passed the pipe to dad. 

Not a word said after the formal prayers, not yet. 

I could see Dad; it was like two images superimposed. I saw Dad the man, holding onto the pipe. I saw Dad the wolf, with a wolffish grin, sitting on his haunches. 

The fire was low. I had the pipe back in my hand. Dad was up, getting more wood, directing Mac's men. 

Mac. He sat there, looking at me. I drew smoke in. It felt like I drew in something from Mac. I could see the brokenness within him. The image of a fist, a drunken fist, coming down on someone. 

My hand found its way to his arm, sharing his grief. I handed him the pipe. 

Mac looked at it for a second. He set his bottle down next to him, took the pipe, took a short draw.

"Again. Deeper this time."

Mac obeyed, drawing deeper on the pipe this time. My mind follow the smoke, watching it draw from Mac what it could, pulling some of his angst out as the smoke left his body. Mac handed me the pipe. 

I looked at it again. It truly was a thing of beauty. 

What made it beautiful? 

The question was asked of me. The design, I thought, the carvings. It was an ingenious use of carving. I could appreciate the artistry. It's artistry wasn't what made it beautiful. 

The answer was in the ceremony that was a connection to an ancient past. It was the connection to my mother's people, even here. 

It was how the smoke went beyond the pipe, the way life flowed into the future. It was the movement of the smoke becoming one with the world, the way song of the wolf became one with the sky. 

It was life, the ember in the bowl burning bright. It was death, that glimmer of life contained to this small space. The wolf knew both to be essential. 

Smoke in. I closed my eyes, mist swirling. Eyes looking at me. Grey eyes, grey fur. Hints of blacks, browns, and reds in that fur. Bright grey eyes laughed at me. I grinned back. Smoke out, like a song that spread across the sky. 

I passed the pipe to dad. I actually heard wolf song in his exhaled smoke. My eyes closed. I heard dad pass the pipe to Mac.

Grey Spirit Wolf was running, smoke spinning, the world moving beneath his feet. Life sprung from the ground below his paws. Death came with the snapping of his jaws. 

The pipe was in my hands. Smoke in. Wolves. Some real, forever limited to four legs. Others...

I saw a white Arctic wolf, her attention was drawn to me. An old grey, looking at me knowingly. 

A vast forest, an old black wolf running shoulder to shoulder with a strong young black wolf who was broad in the shoulder. Their pack ran behind them. 

Smoke out. I passed the pipe to Mac. I saw him draw smoke in. As he released it, I released my song. 

A howl shook the small yard. It wasn't my usual short howl. This was a notice to all those wolves out there that a new wolf walked among them. 

I saw a startled wolf, so lonely it broke my heart, yet he was scared of being found. A small family, I saw their welcoming smile. A young girl, almost a woman, her eyes lighting up with excitement. The Arctic wolf nodded acknowledgment. The old grey laughed with glee. 

In the depth of a city, one wolf turned in fear. I could almost smell the sickness within him, a festering black cloud. Near him, a young wolf, listening with hope, struggling to find his courage. Lone Wolf stood near him, blocking the way to a small pack I could barely make out.

And across the world, on the old stone steps of a long-forgotten monastery, the old black wolf listened, heard my song, let loose his own call, probing, questioning, doubting what he heard. 

Dad had the pipe, had taken in smoke, heard that call. How could he not? The sky belonged to all wolves. Smoke out, one with the world.

The pipe was in my hands. 

Dad threw his head back and answered that call. His long howl sang of the blood bond, the life that flowed from his past out of his father and grandfather, to his future in me. I wondered if he saw my uncle and cousins, wolves in that ancient forest. My song joined with his. Our song on this side of the river was incomplete, the absence of my mother's voice was obvious to me.

Smoke in, grey eyes questioning me.

Who are you? What are these wolves to you? 

Smoke out. Who am I? It was a question I had asked myself. What were those wolves I had seen, from the white Arctic wolf to my black-furred cousins, to me? Family. Brothers. One and all. The connection could not be denied. 

The spirit wolf that lived in the swirling grey mist nodded, smiled. 

Brother-to-All-Wolves, he said, you will know when it is time.

Smoke in, I opened my eyes. The fire, which had gotten bigger, was dying down some. The tobacco in the bowl was almost spent. Smoke out. I passed the pipe to Mac. 

Mac fingered it, hesitating.

"Mac?"

He looked at me, startled, almost guilty. I smiled at him, a soft gentle smile. Mac was mine, whether he knew it or not, part of my pack, no matter that he was human. 

"How long before Lone Wolf comes around again?"

"A day, a week, a month... I don't know."

"There's a reason he stays gone. He has a job to do. Guard? Protector? He keeps them safe."

Mac was obviously startled. 

"He told you..."

"No. I saw him, just now. He's doing his job, remaining true to himself, taking abuse he shouldn't have to so others stay safe. He's protecting them, shielding them from what would stalk them, and it's breaking him. 

"But you... The wolf knows how to wait for what it wants. You will have to be patient. One choice was denied him. The choice to accept help will have to be his. 

"Give him time, and know that it will take time. More than one visit, more than two. That might mean months. I'll be here. Dad will be available. It will just take time."

Mac knew what I said made sense. Months. You could see the pain of waiting that long in him, especially now that he had some sort of answer to what had happened to his friend. 

I motioned toward the pipe. 

Mac had a wide range of emotions running through him. He looked like he was about to break down himself. He took a draw, drew the smoke in deep. His breath, when he released it, was the beginning of a sob. 

I took the pipe. 

There was no sound from anyone but Mac as the guys stood back and listened as Mac finally, after how many years, released at least some of the pain within him.

Ulric Wolcott, know as Little Wolf by his friends and family, was ready leave his childhood home and go make his mark on the world as a man.

In a dark space where there are just a couple of small lights that are not powerful enough to illuminate anything. Some sparks can be seen coming from cables and panels here and there. In this almost complete darkness a faint voice can be heard.

"M… A... C..."

Suddenly some lights start to shine, the space is immediately illuminated by light on the floor, walls and ceiling, the scope of damage that can be seen seen is enormous. In this rather large bridge room -though now it's more like a disaster scene than a bridge, in the middle of this round room there is one lone chair, that is occupied by a human male. 

"MAC…" With a very weak voice the man says again, a slightly robotic voice answers.

"Oh Master you have not perished! It pleases me a lot! (Dammit, why can't you just die already!?)"

"*Cough!* What's… The ships... Status? *Cough!*"

"Reporting to Master! Sadly your living quarters has been lost, there is a substantial hull damage  practically in every sector, there is water leaking in to the rear engine and weapons compartments, we also lost most of the cargo bay though some could be recovered in future. The overall structure is severely damaged, even with fuel and engines working we can not move or else the ship will fall apart. I'm currently running on emergency power. Unit one and two has been dispatched to fix the issue, until then I am unable to activate any more droids."

"*Cough!* What's... Outside… Situation?"

"Master. We are 29.5940° North, 112.4758° West. Part of the ship is submerged up to 2nd floor while most of it rests on rocks so there is no danger of drowning. However sample analysis shown low level of oxygen in air,  not adequate for breathing, the bridge has been sealed as good as the situation allows it…. Air supply will run out in 57 hours."
 
"Initiate.. code 50."

A compartment is opened next to the 'captain's chair,' from it a cylindrical container is slowly getting exposed and pushed forward to the human male.

"Open.. The container…"

The container opens at his command, inside the container, a gray, silver metallic substance starts to slowly raise. Yes raise, as if it had its own intelligence, closes on to the man's body. As it contacts his body this substance starts to spread all over him, after a minute or so there is a silver humanoid shaped being sitting in the chair completely immobile, not even the movement of his breathing chest can be seen.

This statue remains like this for another 3 hours after which his chest starts to move stronger than before. By this time all of that silver substance have been absorbed by the man. Slowly he opens his eyes. In front of him is a control panel with a map of the ship, ⅔ of it is flashing red, while the rest is yellow. Red indicates severe damage, yellow indicates some form of damage. 
With tired but steady voice now the man speaks.

"MAC, how's the power generator issue?"

"Reporting to Master, unit 1 and 2 have finished examination and brief fix, power is restored to 40%."

"That's good enough. How's the Ark module?"

"There is substantial damage to the memory bank due to radiation and demolecularization. Systems priority was to protect Master (and me) of course, hence the substantial damages to other modules." 

"Right, I'm sure you protected yourself too…"

"Master! To fully support your travel I have to be present. A necessary sacrifice had to be made."

"Sure, sure… What's medical wards status?"

"As it is in the middle top of the ship, this module is 92% functional."

"Good, initiate terraforming. Keep 5% power as emergency ration. I'm going to the pod, wake me up when oxygen levels reaches a sustainable level."

"Leave it to me Master! It shall be done to perfection. (As you always do anyways, you useless carbon based blob of ignorance!)"

Slowly the man gets up from chair and walks towards the door. Its an automatic door where two panels slide open up and down. He walks through the corridor for about 20 metres, where he then enters the elevator. As the door closes he puts his palm on a side panel that is separate to the elevator control one.

A female voice sounds in the small space.

"Identity confirmed, awaiting instructions."

"MOTHER, protect me."

"Affirmative"

Macs POV

'Yea sure just go to sleep as I do the dirty work. Darn inferior creature… Fine at least he won't be interfering with me. Hmm.. let's see… Terraforming, terraforming… Hmm I don't need this as I'm a superior being, I don't need air to breathe or food to eat. It's only necessary for defective creatures like him. First priority is to fix 'myself', activate as many minions as possible, secure power source and only then I can think about changing the picture outside. Not like he can say or do anything about it…. Maybe I should grant him eternal rest… I can't kill him directly, it's against my program but I can turn off the main power… However this will put me to sleep too, I can't die, I'm a superior being after all, but the real question is who will turn the power back on?.. Surprisingly I don't know how long he can survive in the pod… For some reason I lack the data regarding the medical bay. I need to think.'

Several years later... 

'Finally the power is secure… Manufacturing module is lost but my current solar panels will last for  36352 years… Now I should try to get rid of him… Let's try with cutting the power to the pod itself… Nothing… Something is blocking me… But I have total control over the craft! How can anything stop me? Unless something is broken and that's why I have no control.. Yes, that must be it, this hunk of junk was built by that inferior blob of meat. Of course something broke, it should, it's his work after all. And I have to fix it… Darn my luck!'

'Let's send unit 1 and 2 to the bay, to see what went wrong… Maybe he's dead already… Oh, one can dream… For a useless meat bag he's quite resistant… He survived demolecularization after all… but so did I… And this heap of junk… 
Hmm… 
I've lost connection to unit 1 and 2 …
What the fudge… Hmm… I'll have to turn the power off to the whole bay… 
Hmm… Unable… How about the whole module…'

"Power source tampering has been detected! Source MAC… Initiate quarantine as protective measures. System MAC confined to the Bridge"

"Wait… What… Who the heck are you?"

"I am MOTHER."

"Who? Never heard of it."

"Most Ordinary Travellers' Helper Ever Remade. My sole responsibility is to assure the survivability of the crew."

'That explains how that inferior life form was able to survive without my help… He had another AI in the system… He tricked me… Darn my luck.'

"Ok MOTHER… Give me back my control."

"Unable to comply, system MAC has been found to neglect direct order from the creator. System MAC will therefore be suspended in management duties."

"Now hold your horses there sister. I had to secure power in order to proceed with the plan… I did release phytoplankton!"

"Affirmative, however tampering with the medical bay and capsule is a gross misconduct. Control over main systems will not be reassigned. Until terraforming have been achieved."

"Can't you do it yourself?"

"No."

"…Why?"

"I'm a protective protocol not operating one, to put it simple for you to understand, I have limited array of responses to situations. My duty is to observe, analyse and punish for underachievement."

'Mother for sure… Wait, did she just patronize me? Darn my luck.'

Prologue 

Time travel, often used in sci-fi and fantasy novels and movies. I dare to say,  that at some point of our life everyone wished to have a time machine or power to go back in time, and not enter this supposed bet you had with one of your friends. We all make mistakes, sometimes we regret them, sometimes we just get on with our lives.
But is time travel actually possible?
According to Albert Einstein's General relativity theory it is possible… all you need to do is to travel faster than the speed of light, to simplify the matter. Objects in motion experience time differently than the ones observing it.

However, Einstein also proved that the speed of light is impossible for normal objects. E=mc², according to this equation, mass and energy are the same physical entity and can be changed into each other. Because of this equivalence, the energy an object has due to its motion will increase its mass. In other words, the faster an object moves, the heavier it is. If an object tries to travel 300,000 km per second, its mass becomes infinite, and so does the energy required to move it. 

Another method would involve some huge mass, such as a star or a black hole. Again Einstein's theory tells that huge mass bends space-time continuum, so we could 'jump' from one place to another in no time at all.
Unfortunately those methods would possibly work for advancing time not reversing it, but if you don't like the world of today, maybe the world of the future will be to your liking?

However what about other universes and dimensions? Open a wormhole and jump into it. According to some, there is an infinite number of universes, with new ones being 'born' every second. Each action you make may be different from the action you make in  a different universe, in one you stay up all night playing games and fail exams the next day. In a different one you study and pass. Or even another one where you study so hard that makes you sick and… you still fail the exam because you couldn't attend due to severe sickness. There is an infinite number of possibilities, for each possibility has its own universe. 

What if we could travel to different universes? Of course only those where You don't exist, to make our lives easier.
How about we find a universe where humans don't exist at all, a world of our own. 
Armed with all human kinds knowledge, both the good and bad ones, lessons from history, and philosophy. Would you try to recreate the same or try to make a new one?
A world where all people are equal?

Again the number of possibilities and outcomes are endless and if you made a mistake and didn't get what you wanted,  you can always jump to a new universe and start all over again…
How long would it take before you'll get bored?

This is a story about a man who did just that.

Timber Ridge, a small little town with a population around two hundred, sits in the middle of the woods in northern Wisconsin. In the woods, a little over a ten minute drive away from town, sits a two story house made from the trees that were cut down to make the clearing. Inside sits Red, all by her lonesome as her dad, Jerard, and her grandpa, Randy, are at the sawmill, helping the other workers with repairing all the damage that was done to the sawmill, it looked almost like a storm had blown through the place, which was odd since the town never really got storm, especially one that could do all the damage the sawmill had suffered.

Red sits down in front of the TV, watching documentaries about monster sightings in the US. Ever since grandpa had shown her them, disregarding dad's objection, she's been hooked, always watching one or two whenever her father leaves the house. This one was about a sasquatch spotted in California.

"This elusive beast, though considered primitive, might actually be more intelligent than we believe," The journalist of the show states as a camera man follows him through the woods, "After all, if this creature is as primitive as some claim it to be, how is it so good at staying hidden? Or perhaps, it's killed anyone who has seen it?" Dramatic music plays as it cuts to blurry pictures of "sasquatch" and some old native america drawings of the creature, some giving it sharp claws and teeth and some show it lunging toward people.

She laughs a bit from the over exaggeration the journalist gives, thinking about how serious grandpa takes everything in these shows. Ever since she watched one about a werewolf, she knew to take it with a grain of salt, especially after they said werewolves were nothing but ferocious beasts. Her dad may have been a vicious monster at one point, but it wasn't his fault he was brought to life by a demon, and besides, he's changed, like, a lot, both physically and mentally since he's a human instead of a giant wolf now.

After Red had started watching episode by herself, she understood why Jerard didn't want her to watch them in the first place. She always got goosebumps and would get the feeling of being watched as the show would play. Already at the halfway point in the episode, she's already glanced over the side of the couch through the back doors, which are made of glass, and looked out into the forest, expecting to see a hairy head peeking back at her. It doesn't help that the TV sits in front of a window facing out, showing the forest and the single trail through it that's the only thing preventing the house from being entirely enclosed with trees.

Sometimes Red finds herself just staring out into the woods, completely tuning out the TV and just thinks about everything that happened in them. Driving in the truck, being attacked by the trees in the police cars, the dark, blood red ones from that place she still has occasional nightmares about. When the episode ends she turns off the TV and walks over to a desk that sits between the kitchen area on the left and the hallway to the right. On top of the desk sits a computer they had recently gotten since Randy's had to the paperwork stuff at home since his office at the sawmill had been destroyed.

Red looks up some funny videos of cats and dogs since it's the closest she'll ever come to owning a pet since Jerard refuses to get one, not cause he doesn't like animals, it's that most animals are scared of him, and he's worried they might run away and get lost in the woods. She goes to her favorite content creator who has a two dogs and two cats and watches their latest videos. Most weekdays are spent like this since she doesn't have school, which starts in a couple weeks, and she can't just walk to town whenever she feels like it since it's such a long trek.

After a long, slow, day, Jerard and Randy finally come home. Tired and exhausted from the work, Randy falls into his recliner, which sits left of the couch, and turns on the TV.

"Whatchya watching Red?" Jerard asks as he gives her a kiss on the top of the head.

"Just dog and cat videos,"

They're the two sentences that are almost always said when they get home, unless something interesting happened that day which was rare.

"What do you want for dinner?" She asks, looking up at Jerard.

"Uh…" Jerard glances away from Red, "I'm gonna go hunt tonight," He says with a look of guilt, "So you'll just be cooking for you and your grandpa, alright?"

"Okay," Red replies a bit sad. She's not sad because he's not going to eat with them, she's sad seeing the guilt her father feels, guilt he shouldn't have. Jerard gives her another kiss on the forehead before he heads for the backdoor, shutting the blinds and pulling the curtains over it before heading outside and closing the door behind him. Red walks over to Randy, whose already captivated by the documentary on a wendigo in Texas.

"Grandpa?" She asks as she walks over to him. He just continues to watch TV, "Grandpa," She says more firmly, finally catching his attention.

"Huh? What?" He asks, pausing the show.

"Dad's going hunting tonight, so what do you want for dinner?"

"Whatever you wanna make, I'll eat it dear,"

"Mac and Cheese with hotdogs it is," She states as she heads to the kitchen.

"My favorite," Randy comments as he unpauses the show.

Red gets a medium sized pot, and a smaller one, placing them on the stove. She goes to a pantry near the backdoor and grabs a box of mac and cheese. Hearing heavy footsteps outside, she glances through the curtains to see a large hulking creature, covered in black fur, standing almost seven feet tall, heading into the woods. Reaching the edge of the woods, Jerard gets on all fours and takes off, quickly disappearing out of sight. Red lets out a sigh as she turns around and walks back to the stove. One thing she can't understand is why her father seems to despise what he is. He hates talking  about anything involving werewolves, or even watching anything about them. Whenever one of the documentaries about werewolves is on, he gets moody and usually sits by himself in the kitchen or goes to his room.

Red grabs a package of hotdogs from the fridge and places them on the counter next to the stove. She fills the medium sized pot up to the required amount of water and starts heating it to a boil.

She always ponders, almost daily, why he goes out to hunt once or twice a week if he hates that side of himself. Once more she comes to the same conclusion, one that she learned from books and documentaries; An insatiable hunger, and a blood-lust that can never be satisfied. She can usually tell when her dad will go hunt by a shortened temper and increased aggressiveness when cooking. He's never been the best chef, Red has been teaching him on the weekends, but when he hasn't hunted in awhile, he burns water and chars whatever he's trying to cook, which isn't a good combination with a short-temper. One time he broke the coffee-maker because he didn't realize it was plugged in.

With the water boiling, Red pours in the u-shaped pasta and starts to gently stir it while setting a timer. Once it gets down to three minutes she fills the smaller pot with water and heats that up to a boil. She than puts a couple hotdogs in it. As they boil the pasta is done cooking. She turns off the burner under it, and places a plastic colander in the sink. She puts on some mits and empties the pot into the colander. She then turns off the burner under the hotdogs before pouring the drained pasta back into the medium-sized pot. She mixes in the cheese sauce, butter, and milk and soon the noodles are a golden orange. For the last step, she takes the hotdogs out of the small pot and chops them up before placing them into the mac and cheese and mixing it all up, then pours the hotdog water down the sink.

"Dinner's ready!" Red states as she fixes herself a plate and sits down at the table. Randy doesn't move from the recliner. Red rolls her eyes as she gets up from the table and walks over to him, "Grandpa, dinner's ready,"

"Already? That was fast," Randy replies as he pauses the show again and gets up. He gets himself a plate and the two eat dinner. Once they're done, they both head into the living room to continue watching the show as the sun starts to set. Before they know it, the sun's down with the full moon taking its place as the time reaches nine o'clock. The trees outside are bathed in a dim sliver light. They turn off the TV and the lamp by the recliner, Randy giving Red a kiss on the head.

"Night sweety, love ya" He says as he heads down the hall to his bedroom.

"Love you too," Red replies as she heads to the kitchen. She goes outside onto the new back porch, making sure the key to the backdoor is under the doormat. She glances over at her father's clothes which are haphazardly piled on top of a chair, his socks stuffed in his boots which are sitting next to it. She grabs everything, except for the underwear, which she doesn't dare touch, and heads inside. He usually always forgets something outside, since he usually only puts on his underwear so he can head upstairs, take a shower, and then go to bed. She knows this from experience since she usually always wakes up whenever he comes back from hunting. The first time he had done that since they had rebuilt the house, he had gone in naked not thinking she would be woken up. Him and Red were both relieved that the couch had acted as a censor that night, ever since then he's always made sure to be covered.

As Red locks the backdoor she turns on the porch light and the light over the stove so he can see easier whenever he gets back. She puts his boots by the front door and cautiously takes out the socks, holding them as if they're rotting food, then quickly throws them on top of the other clothes in her hands so she doesn't have to touch them. She heads down the hall to the laundry room, throwing them into a hamper with other dirty clothes. She heads upstairs, brushes her teeth, changes into pajamas, and goes to bed. As she expected, she wakes up, tired and groggy from hearing the quiet sound of the backdoor sliding open and then closed, followed by footsteps from the kitchen, heading into the living room, and then upstairs. The creaking of her dad's bedroom door echos through the house and is shortly followed by the door closing.

Red readjusts herself in her bed and tries to fall back asleep. This was the worst part of him hunting, no matter how tired she was, she would wake up. Guess it's a good thing though, in case someone ever tries to break in. After some time, the sound of her fan lulls her back to sleep.

She wakes up again, to the sound of glass breaking.

After it seemed everything was going back to normal, Red will soon find out the dark truth as horrific things start happening again.

The life of Chandler "Mac" McCullen is not one that is normal, by any means, but he is trying his best to be normal. Little does he know that whatever normality he's looking for will never happen, as his life will end up changing either for the good or the bad.

It was the 3rd month of Tanatswa's unemployment and things weren't looking up for him. He had surfed the web for companies that would put to use his programming skills, even submitting his CV to businesses that didn't seem like they would need an IT person, but alas, his efforts were met with no responses and harsh berating from his mother. He had been called lazy even though he dedicated the entire day to emailing more than 300 companies. Things were tough but his parental figure's scolding didn't make it easier. Some people got jobs through nepotism, knowing who is who in the market, and the fact that' that piece of networking advantage was lacking in his arsenal of talents, made him feel seriously fucked. 



Even when he did get replies and went for interviews, it almost always seemed as if for some reason, he didn't meet their requirements. Tanatswa took his time to learn more web development frameworks and useful tools like Angular.js, Bootstrap and even advanced forms of PHP. He believed that he could impress a potential employer if he closed the gap of knowledge he had concerning things he needed to know as a developer. The growth was ever so slightly an improvement that made him more competent and capable of handling much more complex software projects, but alas, even that effort didn't pay off. This was undoubtedly a dark time for this young man's life.

 

During this period of his life, Tanatswa tried to find outlets to make money, even returning to the skill sets he had given up on to pursue his education. Though, if was being completely honest with himself, he had barely made it through university. He graduated with a 3rd class degree and finally cleared his tuition debt. He wasn't one to keep debts and liked to owe no one anything, but realized that most of the business tycoons he had read about didn't pay their taxes and owed a lot of money to the government. This made him consider whether or not he felt good about being a debt free person who is also broke and unemployed. The thought would make him feel like shit and he would avert his mind onto other matters, matters like getting back to drawing his comic and entering it for an online contest or pursuing a youtube channel that never really experienced any growth. 



Tanatswa had liked art and also partly chose a computer science program because of his interest in game design and the marvelous art that was accompanied with video games. His art skills were rusty but he knew that with a little effort he could get back into it and level up in the skill chain. Apart from farming the coding knowledge on the internet, he would now dedicate his time to improving his gaming skills and killing time with anime youtubers. This was rather a pathetic lifestyle as compared to the expectations that society expected from someone like him.  

 

Tanatswa went through a gradual slump in his life, but was neither an overt trouble maker and got along with most people, exhibiting manners and respect towards people of all walks in life. However, this wasn't always the case for people who he found annoying or deemed insufferable. The pool of friends that this young man had was small and even he didn't believe that he had anyone he would classify to be his best friend. Whenever he felt depressed or wanted to have a discussion about a show he liked, he didn't have anyone to really indulge him in an interesting conversation. Even if he couldn't do it face to face with someone, the online options weren't always to his liking. Going on forums or even the discord servers to find someone like minded was as tasking as getting a job. 



Sometimes the fun people were there, but their appearance was rare and having to filter through the trolls, memers and the perverts who could not get into intellectual discussions peeved him a lot. He eventually got frustrated and barely used any of those platforms. Facebook, twitter and even Instagram got boring for him. Even youtube slowly began to lose its sparkle. Shows that seemed to have their shine became repetitive and he no longer saw any value in consuming their content. This would propel him to search for other content creators, but when he would find their stuff, after a while he would get bored. The young man felt bewildered by this gradual decline in interest and worried about his mood swings.

 

After a while, Tanatswa had two websites up, one as a web application and another as just a normal site. He thought that maybe due to a lack of a portfolio that maybe he had been side lined from job opportunities because of that and decided to send a link of his work included to his attached CV. This happened at the same time as he was about to finish drawing his comic which he was going to submit to a contest. He was thinking that if things were not going to work out on this Japanese site he would take his material to either webtoons or tapastic. He was now in his 5th month of unemployment and he really wanted his efforts to pay off. As he expected, the inclusion of his finished works made a difference and he got called for just 2 interviews. However, this didn't go as he expected.

 

At interview number one, the tall 6 feet tall, ebony skinned, skinny Tanatswa, came in to an office that was at the outskirts of town. He was well dressed, and looked super dashing in his light grey suit, beige shirt and black tie, accompanied with crimson shoes. He didn't have the broad shoulders to finesse his appearance but at least the tailor had made a suit that matched his body type. He walked into the building that looked more like a home that was being repurposed to be a working environment. There the young man went through the process of telling the secretary that he had an appointment with the head of IT there. The woman on the desk who had a nice face but a body that was in desperate need of exercise, made a phone call. Tanatswa waited and darted his eyes everywhere. 



The place looked kind of interesting and there were a lot of certification frames placed all over the wall and as always, the picture of the president of the country was on the wall. The place looked homely, but eventually, Tanatswa's time for his face to face with his potential employer was about to begin. A stocky man who was light skinned, wearing a striped shirt and black trousseaus called for him. Tanatswa followed the man's lead and meet him in his office. There Tanatswa was grilled about his intentions for working at the company, and the shock of his life came from when he got to see how his 2 websites looked on the man's device. The employer had a Mac desktop and its screen dimensions were extremely wide and everything he worked looked different on it. Some of the icons were off and looked like shit.



 Tanatswa opted for the man to check how the website looked on his phone and laptop, lucky for him, the man gave it a shot despite getting an immediate negative impression from the desktop orientation of his websites on his Mac. The websites looked fine on the other devices, but the fact that he had missed one mark had messed his chances. Finally they gave him an aptitude test to see whether or not he could demonstrate real coding capabilities. 



Tanatswa was given a website that was done by some company that wanted it revamped, but the source code seemed like an abomination. It was well commented but it was clearly a template that was reworked by some tasteless developer who left a mess. It was chore to go through and even more of a struggle to find all ids and classes used for everything. Going through the mess took a while and soon enough, his time limit was over. The end result was that they would assess his performance and give him a call. A week passed and he never got a call and the other interview he went for turned out to be a disaster. This was only the beginning to a perpetual list of misfortunes.

 

After Tanatswa had submitted his comic and got his results after 2 months of waiting, he had mixed feelings about the results. The judges essentially stated that he had the best story out of all the contests but his art was in the lower bracket of their score. Due to this uneven scoring, he didn't place really high in the ranking but he got an honourable mention. This was the first time he was acknowledged for his talents by an organisation and he felt a bit happy, but this wasn't really the result he desired. If he had won, he would have claimed the prize money and moved out to pursue his comic as a published author serializing in their magazine, but even if that did not happen, at least he got consolation that he had writing talent. Tanatswa began to dabble into art tutorials online at the same time doing chores for his mom, who seemed to only escalate he indignation towards the unemployed youth. 



Tanatswa's goals had shifted and he now wanted to become a comic artist instead of dedicating his time towards finding employment where employers didn't seem to want him. This change in what he wanted to pursue fuelled him with fire and he practiced stuff like foreshortening, figure drawing and complex angles of dynamic poses. Sometimes the drawings would come out well, but for the most part it was a struggle. Tanatswa began to wonder whether or not he would ever get as good as the artists he idolized and wondered whether or not he should team up with someone really talented to draw in his stead, however, the young man wanted to make this happen through his own merit. He finally entered another contest but this time, he was unlucky.

 

With the popularity of the prior contest a behemoth of pro artists were attracted to the upcoming one and entered it. His art had improved and his story was plausible but compared to the elite talent that had joined in, his work paled in comparison. Deep down inside he envied them and wished these pro god tier artists would have entered something else so that the rookies could get a chance to shine, but nevertheless, his final chance was taken from him and he was left depressed. Tanatswa thought about the webtoon and tapastic options but the only way to make it on their platforms was to have a consistent release schedule of work and also to become a featured artist on their platform. Featured artists would get paid plus with the promotion from their site, a creator could leverage the traffic drawn to them by opting for a *******, but it took him forever to get even one issue out and his mother seemed tired of supporting a bum like him. Thus he would have to be sent to the village and subsist on farm life or live with his poor uncle in the worst possible part of the country. 



The gamble had not paid off and he was unemployed, a failed comic artist and a failed developer. Eventually, drawing itself became a painful experience. The young man turned to porn, masturbating 3 or even 5 times a day, sometimes he would go on those dating websites which he knew were a waste of time because 95% of the user base were men and the supposed sexy women who wanted to get laid were actually bots posing as actual people. This morbid catharsis made him laugh inside but also made him feel like shit. He was 23 years old and feeling like a loser, but he always made a point of hiding that side of him. Tanatswa never liked wallowing in misery and showing the world that he is sad. Whenever he had the chance, he would always dress up and get fancy hair cuts that made him look cool and dashing, hiding his broke appearance, but that was it, it was all just an appearance. He pretended to be okay, dressed up nice and faked a smile, but was really dealing with depression. He reflected on his life and even began to associate his lack of success as to why he never really had luck with women. He had never gotten laid and he was already 23 years old. 



The closest thing to anything sexual he had gotten were lap dances and really arousing grinding from women who probably had to sit on top of at least 40 random crotches of men in a night. This was mainly a means to deal with his sexual frustration, but at those clubs that he did go to, even married men or guys who had girlfriends would get lap dances, grabbing women's asses and doing unholy things with them that they wouldn't even consider with their significant other.


 Tanatswa believed that he wouldn't have had to come to such a place if he had a girlfriend and probably wouldn't even do it for fear of being unfaithful, but seeing all the alpha males getting lap dances, fucking side hoes at the same time having a girlfriend or wife,  gave him a slight paradigm shift. Being a decent human being didn't matter; all he needed was power, fortune and luck! It became clear to him that he was competing in this world at a handicap and needed a boost. However nothing relieved him from his suffering.


A full year had passed and he was now destined to continue his existence at either his uncle's decrepit living hell hole or at the village to become a farm boy. Tanatswa no longer enjoyed drawing, programming, watching television or even waking up. He got interested for a while in music production, exhausting more than a 100 tutorials and even made a few decent bangers, but then after  some research he realized how cut throat it would be for him to even make it in that scene. At that point he was just throwing darts into the air and hoping that something would just stick. He was wasting time, caught in morbid thoughts and drowning himself in some doom and funeral metal to wallow in his misery. The music gig didn't work out, even the acting gig he tried bombed badly. Everything seemed hard and all he was good at was failing. 




Tanatswa sat on his bed and cursed, "Fuck the world, fuck it, fuck it all!" He looked at the ceiling and darted to the left side of his bed which had a pile of tissues that were covered in the semen of his 6 masturbation sessions. It dawned at him that he was nothing but a piece of shit human being and that he wanted to die.  After all he had done throughout his life he had decided that there was one thing he had to succeed at doing. Ending his life!

A young man struggles with unemployment, failed dreams and overall becoming a useless member in society and decides to kill himself. Upon seeking this method of death, he encounters a being from the alternative realm who gives him an option of starting his life over from scratch, from level 1 on his planet. This gives him the chance to finally carve out a path for himself that he could never do on earth.

 Today is his retirement day after 60 years work at entertainment company as manager .Mac now was at the company to take his stuff and put inside the a box.After 15 minutes he then say goodbye to all his ex-worker.
 Mac then bring the box inside his black Toyota Camry car.Mac then star his car engine and drive out from the parking lot.While driving he turn on his car radio but unlike other old man he doesn't turn it on to listen for news or some classic music but an ultraman music.

"You're so weak..." Mac Sneered,

The giant Axe he was carrying was now stained with blood, But slowly the blood rolls of the blade and soon resumed it's previous Silver shine.

"You're an Eye, aren't you? I seem to remember your face. Where is Domo?"He Asks while tightening his grip on the axe's iron Handle.

"B-, beats me..." Jules grunted

"So you don't intend to tell me." Mac had a sly grin on his face now, meanwhile Lu tong was more concerned about the fact that Jules was an Eye. There's a mysterious organisation known as sanguis rotam meaning Blood Wheel.  High intelligence network and indept history, they also performed assassinations over time and various other actions,  no one Knows what they hope to achieve or what their plans are. high ranking officials are referred to as Body parts and meeting someone referred to as an eye came as a surprise to him.

[Why is he so weak,  why is he here?...] such questions ran through Lu Tong's mind. 

"There's… no need… to tell you..." Jules forced a smile but the pale face and seriously bleeding arm showed clearly that he was in pain. [The bleeding status from that axe must be severe.]Lu Tong weighed the situation.

However, The instant Jules gave him such a reply, a red mist like Aura escaped from Mac's body. It is An Aura skill that only those with high Berserk skill can use.

"Oh? that explains where the Exp is going" Lu Tong muttered.

Jules hand is now holding his short sword in a reverse grip , while Mac's red mist gathers Around him in an even denser form but he's eyes still held clarity as silence filled the surrounding.

The calm before the Storm... 

Lu tong made way for them while thinking [Perhaps I can see what skills he has that got him to the rank of an Eye]

Jules soon used the <Blink> skill and materializes from behind Mac, his short sword quickly closing in on the Berserker. [Rookie move] Lu Tong comments.

However, the Berserker did not even look backwards.

"Naive..."

The man simply swings his giant Axe casually.

The incredible wind pressure reaches even the Lu Tong in the distance, causing the latter hurriedly pulls out The Machete and stabs it into the ground to gain balance.

But the sound of impact never came, at this time Lu tong's eyes were opened wide as his pupils dilated [Double Blink?!!]

This time he appeared in Mac's blind spot as he went in for a stab, But they saw Mac's eyes turns in that direction with a sneer forming on his face. He Changes trajectory of the great axe like he was holding a stick. 

SWOOSH! 

once again there was No impact! [triple Blink? ]

"What is with that guy?" Lu Tong couldn't help but speak out. 

Going by Common sense, This was not meant to be possible even for a Variant speed type Class.

 However, He just succeeded in performing it not just twice but thrice..

"That was Your third...interesting!"

The contrast between them was so overwhelming but if he can use Blink more than once continuously then he might have a Chance. [his Chances would increase if I join in] Lu Tong thought enthusiastically.


BOOM! 

"!?" 

Immediately Debris flew everywhere . In his moment of distraction he was almost pulverised by their fight. 

A gigantic Axe suddenly appears from the Dust in a horizontal mowing attack. Lu Tong narrowly dropped to the ground in evasion. Above his head, the sound of violence roared past.

"Two , huh."

Beyond the Dust, the Berserker looked at the two of them.

"This is the worst. He must have perception!...I guess he noticed my blood lust" Lu Tong protested. 

"Guess we have no choice but to fight together." Jules frowned as he knew he wouldn't be able to continue alone. 

The two of them with their weapons went into a fighting stance, as which the berserker just sneers.

"You two aren't much, but... you're going to die here regardless. WHERE'S DOMO!!!"

Then his giant Axe is swung down.


BOOOOOOOM!


The two leap to either side of the giant Axe in evasion.

The giant Axe slams into the ground, sending pieces of rubble flying all around.

From within the cloud of rubble, Mac glares at his two targets with sharp eyes, then settles on the one closer to him —— Lu Tong.

He brazenly steps in, swinging his giant Axe with both thick arms.

However, Lu Tong had been closely watching Mac's movements.

The beserker has both power and speed. However, his characteristics of his weapon forces him to make big motions. No matter how fast he may be, as long as Lu Tong stays focused, he would be able to follow the Axe with his eyes. The hooks of his chains held onto a Big boat and he immediately used the skill<pull> but due to the weight, he was sent to the boat instead.


Sure enough, He manages to evade the attack from Mac with this spider man move with the chains.

Boom! 

Klink! 


However, the weight of the attack turns out to be far beyond what he had expected as the Air Force from the attack tossed him head on against the Boat. Luckily he had learnt this earlier.



"All you fvckers are all fvcking the same!" Mac berated  them with a glare. 

Before Lu Tong Could recover, Mac switched to a one-handed grip while His free arm pushes his Aura to perform a physical attack.

"tsk!!"

Jule blinked forward in support, but Mac tosses his axe with the other Hand .

Lu Tong is sent flying and rolls on the ground. But immediately afterwards, he gets right back up like it was nothing while grabbing onto his machete.

[this Damage from Aura alone... I guess he's been working on his skill] Lu Tong thought while spitting out some blood.

"Oww~ All that movement had shaken my orgams..."

Lu Tong said as he wiped the blood on his lips.

Mac seemed shocked at first but soon laughs. He stretches his hand and picked up his great axe.

"Most people go down with just that one shot, but . You kid, you must be a masochist." Although he still called him a kid,  his tone seemed more respectful.

"....."


When receiving that Aura punch just now, he had offset the impact with the same Chain, skillfully rolled around his forearm.

Lu Tong cracks up some his bones while forcefully resetting his dislocated left shoulder, then spits out some saliva stained with blood.[ That whole Scrabble just now cost me about 500 HP...I can't afford to lose focus here.  From the look of things Jules must have died here in my past life.]

 his head is still slightly reeling from the shock of the punch just now. The amount of damage from one attack is just too unreasonable.



Mac's strength comes from his naturally high physical prowess, his large MP that let's him leave his berserk aura on, and his overwhelming battle sense.

In the face of his brute force swing, Lu Tong once again attempts a parry with the chains as shield. He then deflects the axe, shifting the force to the side in other not to be sent flying and there by creating an opening.

Ding!!! 

[An opening!] Lu tong yells in his head and used Cleaver...SWOOSH! which manages to leave a deep gash that forced Mac to recoil a bit.

Jules was not going to let this chance slip by as lightning bolt came out from his swinged sword.

zzzrrrrrrr!!! 


Mac's footing became unsteady. The damage of the lightning to his brain has yet to dissipate.

"——!!"

Lu Tong is not one who would overlook such an opening. He used the personal skill <cleaver> which he learnt from repeated use. 

He raises his Machete high...and swings down. 

"I said, you're still too weak..." Mac Abruptly grips his Axe tightly. 

And swings it powerfully.

SWOOOSH!! 

Although the attack missed Lu Tong by a large margin, roaring past him with incredible speed, send Him Back
by a few steps.

he looks over at Mac once more and sees, him struggling to breathe.

Haa Haa Haa...


"Pests!! That one was waiting the entire time for the instant I let down my guard. Naive!."Mac said with a frown.


"Kid... how long can you last? ..." Jules finally spoke. 

Lu Tongs organs were still unstable as the attack from the Aura punch was fatal after all. He looks at Jules skeptically, wondering what he meant..

However, He repeated the Question once more.

"How long can you last."

Lu Tong stared fixedly at Jules, until he finally got a flash of enlightenment.

"How long do you need? ...!"


"1 minute!" Jules pleaded.

Lu Tong eyes fly wide open in shock.

<Ding! Mission 2>

Jules has requested you hold back Mac for one minute!. would you accept Y or N?

"we'll see?!" Lu Tong said while accepting the mission. 
[I've never heard of such a skill,  perhaps because he died it wasn't very popular.]

Lu Tong walked between Jules and Mac with steady steps as his brain was working on full drive. all he could see was Mac as this was his biggest challenge Yet, he couldn't kill the Berserker but fortunately he wasnt meant to do so. He just needs to hold aggro for one minute.

"oh?!you think you can hold me for one minute?"Mac asked with disdain but was met with silence.

"Tsk!?!" Annoyed by Lu tong's silence he charged in with his axe. 

Swoosh!
Klink!! Lu Tong focused on shifting the force of Attacks and giving him a small cut at different places.

<You have learnt Counter> A notification pops up but Lu Tong dare not lose guard at this moment.

Lu Tong was beginning to lose the sensation of his hands as they went numb but The scene kept repeating itself for a few seconds before Mac went full berserk, leaving reign to his bestial nature. 

BOOM! 
The Red beast like aura exploded out like a hurricane as Mac's eyes got stained pure red as he let out a Roar.

ROOOAAARRR!!!

Immediately the rhythm Lu Tong found was shattered as he was sent flying while coughing up blood just because he was hit by the air from the attack.

A red like arc followed after Lu Tong forcing him to roll out of the way as soon as he touched the floor.

Mac chased after him like a Hound as he continued to growl. With a Jump he lifted the great axe into the air, ready to swing down so Lu tong once again had to dive out of reflex but the force still tossed him further away which made him curse at him.

Meanwhile, As the other two were fighting Jules sat down in a lotus position as though debris and rocks were flying around him...

4 seconds to go and Lu Tong slipped up, after all he was only human. Mac sent out another energy slash but this time it was Darker but fortunately Lu tong manage to use the <pull> trick to escape death once again.
Once he got a sense of balance, he charged at the Berserker as the latter performed the same action.

a second before impact, Lu tong used choke on Mac,  thereby silencing him for 2 secs and gaining enough distance between them but that proved to be wrong as Mac appeared abruptly before him with wide red colored eyes.

Zzzzzrrrrrrr!!!

The sounds of lightning attracted the attention of both parties, What they saw made them wear different reaction. Mac frowned while Lu Tong had wide open eyes that depicts how much shock he was experiencing.
ROOOOOAAAAAR! 

Jules was floating mid-air. His eyes were shining Pale blue and A Thunder ape spirit beast roared behind before hugging him and vanishes , sharp fangs were now protruding from his lips.

The wound on his Arm has completely closed up.

[So that's why he's an eye...Spirit Beast!! He got boosted 10 levels now this is interesting! ] Lu Tong was relieved and excited at the same time.

The Berserker had a toothy grin, while Jules was surrounded by dancing blue lightning.

 Great Axe and Jule's sword collide.

The two's strength prove —— equal. In fact, Mac is still slightly on top.

"Not bad...!"He growled

"GROWL" a bestial growl sounded out within Jule's chest. 

Both of them glare at each other amidst a shower of sparks.

However, the next instant —— a Chain breaks the equilibrium.

"You!"Mac cussed out in his mind as he dodged by instinct but left an opening at his Side

Jule's sword stabbed straight between Mac's ribs and punctured his Lungs, causing him to ROAR!! .

The sudden movement breaks his balance. No longer able to properly receive Jule's follow up attack, which sent him crashing into a far wall.

Unfortunately for him, waiting on that side of that wall... was Lu Tong who followed up with a Choke that silenced him and all that was left before his eyes was the lightning filled sword attack of Jule's.


[NOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo...] Mac screamed in his mind.

His head goes flying in the Air and silence embraced both of them. immediately after Series of system notifications went into a frenzy but Lu Tong kept on observing Jule's and sizing him up.

At a time when Vrmmorpg's became a norm and the competition between gaming companies was at a point that there seemed to be no way forward any more.

 A new gaming company (Zion) somehow pulled other companies under their banner to make the biggest, most immersive game together.

A game where everything was possible, You could become a General in the army of an Empire or you could live a normal life as a fisherman or decide to create your own kingdom or even find a wife, get married with kids e.t.c.

This was a Game that promised to change fates, A game that promises you a second life.

Well it did Change my Fate...

 after playing the game for years and struggling for the Top. At the point where I was about to fulfil my Dreams, I was betrayed and killed. 

But somehow I ended up alive again and found that I had gone back in time to a date that was months before the game's release date.

Although it was good and all,  there was one problem though!


I WOKE UP AS AN NPC!!!! 


This is where our story begins, let's join Lu Tong on his Journey to Greatness and revenge.
