In the year 841 after the great expansion, there is no greater thrill than MAC (Mass Acceleration Crafts) racing.

Ayr Lite, is one of the best MAC pilots in the galaxy. He is hard working, well mannered and a person of integrity thus he was nicknamed "The Gentleman" on his debut year, however the MAC championship has, for 6 years, always remained out of his reach turning his title into "The Defeated Gentleman".

At the end of each MAC Pro Circuit Season 70, the Gauss Relay team announced they would end their relationship with "The Gentleman" for the next season.

The press was going wild with the news, it was true that the Gentleman had not been able to achieve the championship, but it was no doubt he was one of the best pilots. Rumors were going wild on who his next sponsor would be.

The Gentleman had not expected to depend on others from the beginning. He created different business that could allow him to create his own team.

The preparations were ready, he needed a few key persons to help him manage everything. He had a plan to find the talent he needed. Everything was ready.

The preparation phase before the MAC Pro Circuit Season 41 was almost over, and no confirmation on who would sponsor the Gentleman, every big name on MAC racing had already announced their pilots.

On the last day for inscriptions a new team registered, Sweet Defeat.

It was the 3rd month of Tanatswa's unemployment and things weren't looking up for him. He had surfed the web for companies that would put to use his programming skills, even submitting his CV to businesses that didn't seem like they would need an IT person, but alas, his efforts were met with no responses and harsh berating from his mother. He had been called lazy even though he dedicated the entire day to emailing more than 300 companies. Things were tough but his parental figure's scolding didn't make it easier. Some people got jobs through nepotism, knowing who is who in the market, and the fact that' that piece of networking advantage was lacking in his arsenal of talents, made him feel seriously fucked. 



Even when he did get replies and went for interviews, it almost always seemed as if for some reason, he didn't meet their requirements. Tanatswa took his time to learn more web development frameworks and useful tools like Angular.js, Bootstrap and even advanced forms of PHP. He believed that he could impress a potential employer if he closed the gap of knowledge he had concerning things he needed to know as a developer. The growth was ever so slightly an improvement that made him more competent and capable of handling much more complex software projects, but alas, even that effort didn't pay off. This was undoubtedly a dark time for this young man's life.

 

During this period of his life, Tanatswa tried to find outlets to make money, even returning to the skill sets he had given up on to pursue his education. Though, if was being completely honest with himself, he had barely made it through university. He graduated with a 3rd class degree and finally cleared his tuition debt. He wasn't one to keep debts and liked to owe no one anything, but realized that most of the business tycoons he had read about didn't pay their taxes and owed a lot of money to the government. This made him consider whether or not he felt good about being a debt free person who is also broke and unemployed. The thought would make him feel like shit and he would avert his mind onto other matters, matters like getting back to drawing his comic and entering it for an online contest or pursuing a youtube channel that never really experienced any growth. 



Tanatswa had liked art and also partly chose a computer science program because of his interest in game design and the marvelous art that was accompanied with video games. His art skills were rusty but he knew that with a little effort he could get back into it and level up in the skill chain. Apart from farming the coding knowledge on the internet, he would now dedicate his time to improving his gaming skills and killing time with anime youtubers. This was rather a pathetic lifestyle as compared to the expectations that society expected from someone like him.  

 

Tanatswa went through a gradual slump in his life, but was neither an overt trouble maker and got along with most people, exhibiting manners and respect towards people of all walks in life. However, this wasn't always the case for people who he found annoying or deemed insufferable. The pool of friends that this young man had was small and even he didn't believe that he had anyone he would classify to be his best friend. Whenever he felt depressed or wanted to have a discussion about a show he liked, he didn't have anyone to really indulge him in an interesting conversation. Even if he couldn't do it face to face with someone, the online options weren't always to his liking. Going on forums or even the discord servers to find someone like minded was as tasking as getting a job. 



Sometimes the fun people were there, but their appearance was rare and having to filter through the trolls, memers and the perverts who could not get into intellectual discussions peeved him a lot. He eventually got frustrated and barely used any of those platforms. Facebook, twitter and even Instagram got boring for him. Even youtube slowly began to lose its sparkle. Shows that seemed to have their shine became repetitive and he no longer saw any value in consuming their content. This would propel him to search for other content creators, but when he would find their stuff, after a while he would get bored. The young man felt bewildered by this gradual decline in interest and worried about his mood swings.

 

After a while, Tanatswa had two websites up, one as a web application and another as just a normal site. He thought that maybe due to a lack of a portfolio that maybe he had been side lined from job opportunities because of that and decided to send a link of his work included to his attached CV. This happened at the same time as he was about to finish drawing his comic which he was going to submit to a contest. He was thinking that if things were not going to work out on this Japanese site he would take his material to either webtoons or tapastic. He was now in his 5th month of unemployment and he really wanted his efforts to pay off. As he expected, the inclusion of his finished works made a difference and he got called for just 2 interviews. However, this didn't go as he expected.

 

At interview number one, the tall 6 feet tall, ebony skinned, skinny Tanatswa, came in to an office that was at the outskirts of town. He was well dressed, and looked super dashing in his light grey suit, beige shirt and black tie, accompanied with crimson shoes. He didn't have the broad shoulders to finesse his appearance but at least the tailor had made a suit that matched his body type. He walked into the building that looked more like a home that was being repurposed to be a working environment. There the young man went through the process of telling the secretary that he had an appointment with the head of IT there. The woman on the desk who had a nice face but a body that was in desperate need of exercise, made a phone call. Tanatswa waited and darted his eyes everywhere. 



The place looked kind of interesting and there were a lot of certification frames placed all over the wall and as always, the picture of the president of the country was on the wall. The place looked homely, but eventually, Tanatswa's time for his face to face with his potential employer was about to begin. A stocky man who was light skinned, wearing a striped shirt and black trousseaus called for him. Tanatswa followed the man's lead and meet him in his office. There Tanatswa was grilled about his intentions for working at the company, and the shock of his life came from when he got to see how his 2 websites looked on the man's device. The employer had a Mac desktop and its screen dimensions were extremely wide and everything he worked looked different on it. Some of the icons were off and looked like shit.



 Tanatswa opted for the man to check how the website looked on his phone and laptop, lucky for him, the man gave it a shot despite getting an immediate negative impression from the desktop orientation of his websites on his Mac. The websites looked fine on the other devices, but the fact that he had missed one mark had messed his chances. Finally they gave him an aptitude test to see whether or not he could demonstrate real coding capabilities. 



Tanatswa was given a website that was done by some company that wanted it revamped, but the source code seemed like an abomination. It was well commented but it was clearly a template that was reworked by some tasteless developer who left a mess. It was chore to go through and even more of a struggle to find all ids and classes used for everything. Going through the mess took a while and soon enough, his time limit was over. The end result was that they would assess his performance and give him a call. A week passed and he never got a call and the other interview he went for turned out to be a disaster. This was only the beginning to a perpetual list of misfortunes.

 

After Tanatswa had submitted his comic and got his results after 2 months of waiting, he had mixed feelings about the results. The judges essentially stated that he had the best story out of all the contests but his art was in the lower bracket of their score. Due to this uneven scoring, he didn't place really high in the ranking but he got an honourable mention. This was the first time he was acknowledged for his talents by an organisation and he felt a bit happy, but this wasn't really the result he desired. If he had won, he would have claimed the prize money and moved out to pursue his comic as a published author serializing in their magazine, but even if that did not happen, at least he got consolation that he had writing talent. Tanatswa began to dabble into art tutorials online at the same time doing chores for his mom, who seemed to only escalate he indignation towards the unemployed youth. 



Tanatswa's goals had shifted and he now wanted to become a comic artist instead of dedicating his time towards finding employment where employers didn't seem to want him. This change in what he wanted to pursue fuelled him with fire and he practiced stuff like foreshortening, figure drawing and complex angles of dynamic poses. Sometimes the drawings would come out well, but for the most part it was a struggle. Tanatswa began to wonder whether or not he would ever get as good as the artists he idolized and wondered whether or not he should team up with someone really talented to draw in his stead, however, the young man wanted to make this happen through his own merit. He finally entered another contest but this time, he was unlucky.

 

With the popularity of the prior contest a behemoth of pro artists were attracted to the upcoming one and entered it. His art had improved and his story was plausible but compared to the elite talent that had joined in, his work paled in comparison. Deep down inside he envied them and wished these pro god tier artists would have entered something else so that the rookies could get a chance to shine, but nevertheless, his final chance was taken from him and he was left depressed. Tanatswa thought about the webtoon and tapastic options but the only way to make it on their platforms was to have a consistent release schedule of work and also to become a featured artist on their platform. Featured artists would get paid plus with the promotion from their site, a creator could leverage the traffic drawn to them by opting for a *******, but it took him forever to get even one issue out and his mother seemed tired of supporting a bum like him. Thus he would have to be sent to the village and subsist on farm life or live with his poor uncle in the worst possible part of the country. 



The gamble had not paid off and he was unemployed, a failed comic artist and a failed developer. Eventually, drawing itself became a painful experience. The young man turned to porn, masturbating 3 or even 5 times a day, sometimes he would go on those dating websites which he knew were a waste of time because 95% of the user base were men and the supposed sexy women who wanted to get laid were actually bots posing as actual people. This morbid catharsis made him laugh inside but also made him feel like shit. He was 23 years old and feeling like a loser, but he always made a point of hiding that side of him. Tanatswa never liked wallowing in misery and showing the world that he is sad. Whenever he had the chance, he would always dress up and get fancy hair cuts that made him look cool and dashing, hiding his broke appearance, but that was it, it was all just an appearance. He pretended to be okay, dressed up nice and faked a smile, but was really dealing with depression. He reflected on his life and even began to associate his lack of success as to why he never really had luck with women. He had never gotten laid and he was already 23 years old. 



The closest thing to anything sexual he had gotten were lap dances and really arousing grinding from women who probably had to sit on top of at least 40 random crotches of men in a night. This was mainly a means to deal with his sexual frustration, but at those clubs that he did go to, even married men or guys who had girlfriends would get lap dances, grabbing women's asses and doing unholy things with them that they wouldn't even consider with their significant other.


 Tanatswa believed that he wouldn't have had to come to such a place if he had a girlfriend and probably wouldn't even do it for fear of being unfaithful, but seeing all the alpha males getting lap dances, fucking side hoes at the same time having a girlfriend or wife,  gave him a slight paradigm shift. Being a decent human being didn't matter; all he needed was power, fortune and luck! It became clear to him that he was competing in this world at a handicap and needed a boost. However nothing relieved him from his suffering.


A full year had passed and he was now destined to continue his existence at either his uncle's decrepit living hell hole or at the village to become a farm boy. Tanatswa no longer enjoyed drawing, programming, watching television or even waking up. He got interested for a while in music production, exhausting more than a 100 tutorials and even made a few decent bangers, but then after  some research he realized how cut throat it would be for him to even make it in that scene. At that point he was just throwing darts into the air and hoping that something would just stick. He was wasting time, caught in morbid thoughts and drowning himself in some doom and funeral metal to wallow in his misery. The music gig didn't work out, even the acting gig he tried bombed badly. Everything seemed hard and all he was good at was failing. 




Tanatswa sat on his bed and cursed, "Fuck the world, fuck it, fuck it all!" He looked at the ceiling and darted to the left side of his bed which had a pile of tissues that were covered in the semen of his 6 masturbation sessions. It dawned at him that he was nothing but a piece of shit human being and that he wanted to die.  After all he had done throughout his life he had decided that there was one thing he had to succeed at doing. Ending his life!

A young man struggles with unemployment, failed dreams and overall becoming a useless member in society and decides to kill himself. Upon seeking this method of death, he encounters a being from the alternative realm who gives him an option of starting his life over from scratch, from level 1 on his planet. This gives him the chance to finally carve out a path for himself that he could never do on earth.

Four paws glided across the rough stone surface. I kept my head down to minimize how much of the lighter colored fur I had on my neck would show. My side brushed against the stone wall while I backtracked, making note of the openings. It took no time going back. I was careful to sniff and listen before jumping back up the small drop to the area Derrick and I had woken up in. 

The gate was open. I listened carefully before padding into the lighted areas, staying beneath the tables when I could. I saw guns laying around. That was not good. I thought of taking one, but decided against it. 

I heard someone moving. I crept closer. There was a guy near the entrance of the cave, wandering around on occasion outside. 

A wild thought came to me. I ran back in, keeping my senses alert for company. I grabbed another empty bag, a duffel this time that one of them had brought clothes in. I stuffed as many boxes of ammo as I could find, throwing in the guns as well. 

I know I didn't get all of them, but I figured it was that much less they'd have to use against us. I traveled back along through the gate, half shifted, and threw the bag as far as I could in the second fissure along the corridor. It was one a person wouldn't fit through but a wolf could. The bag barely fit. 

Going back to the entrance, I spotted the lookout. I shifted as fast as I could, grabbing a wrench that was laying nearby. Coming up behind him I whammed him a good one, catching him as he fell unconscious. There were two jeeps outside. One had my bike strapped to it. I unstrapped my bike, holding it so it wouldn't fall. I rolled it into some bushes hoping it wouldn't be seen. 

I stood there for a moment, knowing I could escape. Glancing back at the cave entrance, I knew I couldn't leave Derrick behind. It would take too long to get help and return. Odds are Derrick would be dead and these men gone. I would never be able to prove that John was involved. 

I wasn't sure I could get Derrick out before the lookout woke up, or the other men came back. I had nothing to tie the lookout up with, having already grabbed the zip ties they'd used on us to splint up Derrick's arm. Going back in for Derrick and bring him out past the three others with guns equaled a good chance of getting shot. If I went back for the zip ties though, and snuck up on these guys one at a time... my mind weighed the risks. I had to come up with another plan.

Going back in to the cave, I rifled through the small pile of tools they had until I found another screwdriver. I hurried back out, stabbing every tire on both jeeps, including the spares. I made a point to mark the cave entrance with my stream. If Dad came, he would smell it.

With any luck, John and his goonies would figure they had missed us, that Derrick and I snuck out, that we clobbered the lookout, trashed their stuff and left. It would keep them from hunting us in the caves and we could possibly make our way out the other end, or this end if they totally cleared out. 

Our captors had a mini fridge next to their generator. I raided what there was of their food. I sacked up what would keep, along with some more water. Changing back to wolf, I ate the rest of the food on the spot. I left them nothing, wolf swallowing things down whole. I was looking for anything else useful when I heard my victim stir. I saw one other thing I wanted to grab. I shifted enough to twist my arm above the table and grab the walkie-talkie.

I was at risk right now of being seen. I shrunk into the shadows under the table. I heard static from the walkie-talkie and quickly turned it off for now. 

The guy I hit took one look at the open fridge and missing ammo and ran toward the back yelling his fool head off. I followed him back, stuffing the bag of food and water into a smaller niche higher up. I slid myself into an obvious small dead-end they wouldn't bother with, one too small for a human body to fit through. My black fur was serving me well. I made sure my back was to them when I heard them approach. I didn't want light reflecting from my eyes.

"You said they were in the back! How could they have gone out the front? Imbeciles! This was supposed to be a clean operation, make it look like an accident I said! Whatever possessed you idiots not to take care of it right then I don't know!"

"You said there would be one guy. We didn't know which one you wanted dead."

"The one that could literally smell us out! Incompetent fools!"

My heart was pounding as they got further away. My mother had taught me all me life, telling me how we were watched over by our Creator, how everything was connected. My bike, Derrick admiring it, us being roommates, all led to now. I would be dead if Derrick hadn't had car trouble and I hadn't stopped to help my friend. 

I moved fast once they were past me. I growled a little coming in so Derrick would know it was me. I scrambled back up into our cubbyhole, then shifted again, hunting for my clothes. 

"So you want to explain why you would go out there without any pants on?" whispered Derrick as he slid them over. 

"Not really," I whispered back. I didn't bother putting them on. "How you doing?"

"I risked dipping the tip of my pinkie into the bag of drugs you nabbed. It's down to a painful aching throb, so I think it's helping a little. I don't want to take to much. I don't want to trip out on you. What's happening out there?"

I filled him in, whispering my strategy. We had a decent hiding place this high up. The problem now was actually getting out of here.

"I think they'll still post someone up by the entrance. I don't think we could have gotten you out in time. I didn't have much time, and I had to hide when the guy woke up. He just didn't look under the table before he went running back. Then I had to hide when the one guy came back with him. The space I hid in wouldn't have fit both of us. I don't know, maybe I screwed up and we both should have headed back."

"Never second guess yourself," he whispered back. "My arm would have slowed us up. We didn't know how many or who was where. So now we know there are four of them, two on each side of us."

"It's worse than that. They got guns, real guns. They might have other ammo than what I hid. John's involved. He..."

"John? Our boss John?" Derrick exclaimed in something a bit louder than a whisper.

"Shhh! He probably found this cave system while working here and set it up to hide drugs. I don't know what all they do here. He planned on having me killed because I could literally sniff them out. They tranked us instead because there were two of us. They probably figured one of us was his man and just didn't want to kill the wrong one. So your car breaking down saved my ass. Now I just have to get you out of here."

"Wow," was all Derrick said. I could smell his increase in fear over his pain.

We were both silent for awhile. Derrick laid back, trying to adjust his arm to make it more comfortable. 

"So how long before anyone misses us and comes looking? Will they come looking? Can we hold out that long?" Derrick asked. I could hear the trepidation in his whisper.

"We have food and water," I started to say.

"Yeah, but how long will that last?"

"Couple of days, easy," I said, not going into detail about the food in my stomach. 

I had already mostly shifted back to wolf. As a wolf I was able to swallow down their food without chewing, consuming everything they had within mere seconds. As a human, it sat very heavy on my stomach. I wanted to nap now as it was. If I did, all it would take was Derrick brushing his hand against me and freaking out for us to be found.  

"Sister will miss me first, and I was going to see Mahina tonight since I was supposed to head out tomorrow. I usually call Dad late Friday nights too. Mac will miss you when you don't show up. He knows I suspected drugs out here. That's assuming they make that connection. Only problem is Yellowstone is a big area, even eliminating the obvious places."

I sighed. I wasn't sure it would do any good if Mac turned to John. John would mislead Mac. Odds are Mac wouldn't suspect his old buddy of anything. 

"Maybe I should head back out. I'll go see if I can..."

"Why don't you give them time? You were worried about me making noise if I slept, and I think I'm going to. Hope I don't have a damn concussion."

"Sleep then. Maybe you should take a bit more for the pain? I might nap myself, put myself in that half-way stage, you know?"

"Not really. And I still want to know why no pants."

I didn't answer him. His breath took no time to steady out, sounding better than it had when we first woke. I allowed myself to doze lightly. I stirred when I heard someone go by. 

Later someone actually came in our little alcove. I placed my hand over Derrick's mouth before they actually stepped in and rolled him on his side, squeezing in tight against him. I could see the light play above us on the edge of our cubby hole, but the guy didn't investigate further. It was, after all, up high. He was thorough in the rest of the area, going down until he couldn't fit anymore, verifying it was a dead end. 

I heard him use a spray can at the entrance. I moved back toward the edge of our ledge, allowing Derrick to lay on his back again. I put my hand over his mouth again before rolling off the ledge. 

I was almost full wolf. I had a den and a hurt pack member. I let out a quiet growl as I headed out to stalk my prey.

"Rick?"

I looked back up out of habit even though it was dark as could be. Derrick had pulled out his phone for a moment's light. I slipped out the entrance, hopefully before he saw me. The light went out. I stepped back in briefly. I knew my voice was gravely when I spoke, trying to whisper. 

"Light reflects. Don't!"

"Sorry," he whispered back.

I only growled. 

Light in this pitch black was both a pro and a con, you could see it far off. I could see my prey's progress as he shone his light along the wall. There was another guy on the other side, marking the openings on that side. I followed behind, watching as they made the same mark every time they came out of a crack in the walls. A slight sound behind me had me holding still.

I moved slowly until I was facing the direction of the sound. Then I looked up. I opened my mouth, tasting the air. I could smell about where the man was, higher up, further back. Had he seen Derrick's light? If so, he hadn't let out a warning and he didn't move.

There! A slight glint off a gun! Perhaps he did see that moment of light and was waiting for us. If he was using infrared, did he see my wolf form?

I moved, slinking close to the ground until I was beneath him. I ruled out the idea he had noticed me. The man was completely focused on where Derrick's light had shone for a moment. Part of me tried to think, to figure a way to disarm him and keep him from being able to reveal us or hurt us. The rest of me already knew what I needed to do. 

I let out a steady growl, low enough not to carry. Sure enough the man with the sniper rifle leaned over to look down. That's all it took for me to pounce. I growled, biting down on an arm. Like I had told my wolves in the field, don't go to bite if you don't plan on breaking bones. 

The man let out a satisfying scream. I didn't hesitate, grabbing the hand he swung at my head, sinking my teeth in and ripping. I leapt away. He wouldn't be using a gun against me! The small growl that sounded then might have been mistaken for a chuckle. I knew I couldn't let him live, especially having bit him. I circled around. He moved in a way that exposed his throat. I thought about the cougar that had killed Mom. This man was just as deadly and dangerous. I leapt in, putting my weight on his shoulders and went in for the kill. 

I slunk back to the shadows, licking the blood off my snout, hoping Derrick was smart enough to keep the lights out. 

The men with the flashlights came running at the screams, pistols drawn. I waited until one was level with me and rushed him, knocking him down. The flashlight he had fell and rolled, the light throwing odd moving shadows along the cave walls. 

I bit down on the pistol and pulled it from the man's grasp. I moved through the flashlight's beam, making a point of making noise, running down past where Derrick was. A shot rang out, and I felt slivers of rock hit me. I jumped sideways, staying low to the ground. I couldn't kill both of them without risk to myself. They would be on alert now. 

I ducked into one of the marked areas, looking for somewhere higher than a wolf could reach to stash the gun. I found a little hollow that would shield the gun from glinting in any light. I heard it when it landed a few feet down. It would be tricky to retrieve it, but not impossible, and they wouldn't find it.

I went further away, and let loose a howl, keeping it short. This was, after all, Yellowstone, home to wild animals. They would have to believe a wolf had found his way in before the tremors and couldn't find his way out. 

Knowing there was a wolf here would interfere with their plans, especially after breaking the man's arm like I did before ripping out his throat.  I wasn't sure what they had seen in the dark and dancing shadows, but the howl would leave no doubt. Plus, I figured Derrick would know I was ok. He would have to be worried when he heard the scream and the shot being fired.

I released a stream, marking as far as I had gone. Odds are they wouldn't notice it, but if they did, its low height would only confirm the presence of a wolf. 

I moved silently then, heading back to Derrick. I could hear them, the man who had lost his gun and John. I heard the words teeth and wolf. The smell of blood filled the area.

I felt satisfied knowing Derrick's broken arm was avenged, especially in a way that increased our safety. I snuck into our alcove and leapt up. 

"Rick?" 

At least it was only the barest whisper. I shifted, curling along Derrick's back once more, keeping the fur on my back. 

"Shhh. Sleep if you can. I'm fine. I'm going to wait for things to settle down before I go back out. Go as far in as you can go. No lights. Sleep."

He stayed silent, moving things around and scooting over a few more inches. I knew it wasn't the most comfortable for him, but it was the safest thing to do right now. I felt one of my paws push against his calf muscle as I settled in to wait.

I sighed. He was going to figure it out at some point, especially in such close quarters, even if we were in complete darkness. I shifted a bit so I could speak clearer.

"By the way," I whispered in his ear, "I don't need the pants because I'm wearing fur. I wasn't joking when I told Mac my secret was out. Now go to sleep."

As they expanded out from the 15 regions, they found some regions with some Dynasty Legatees. Of course, they were not gathered together and were instead scattered. There were Five Legatees in total who occupied 20 regions.
Each of them only controlled two or three regions, and some of them were not even fully controlled. There were also some regions between them, so if one had to draw a circle around them, there would be 20 regions in total.
They were the most powerful ones in those regions; not only did they have powerful indigenous residents, but they also had gathered many players. They had decent strength, but that was only in comparison to other Nation or Dynasty Legatees.
The Vietnamese Guard had no reason to attack these Dynasty Legatees because if they could not give a good reason, other people would feel threatened if they did so. After all, the Vietnamese Guard was already the largest faction in Vietnam.
If they casually destroyed a Dynasty Legatee's faction, everyone would feel threatened and ally together to attack them. It would be the same situation as Great Qin in China.
As such, it would be better to have Great Qin destroy those five Dynasty Legatee's factions.
The first was the Tran Dynasty, which was created in 1225. When Ly Chieu Hoang ceded the throne, Tran Thai Tong was enthroned. Because he was surnamed Tran, the Dynasty was called the Tran Dynasty.
The Tran Dynasty lasted for around 170 years, and in 1400, Ho Quy Ly dethroned the last Tran Emperor and declared himself Emperor, establishing the Ho Dynasty and causing the Tran Dynasty to perish.
The Tay Son Dynasty was established in 1771 when Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Lu, and Nguyen Hue started peasant rebellions and attacked various cities, overthrowing the Quang Nam Quoc. Because the home district of the rebel leaders was Tay Son, the Dynasty came to be called the Tay Son Dynasty.
However, the Tay Son Dynasty was soon overthrown by Gia Long with French assistance. In May of 1802, Gia Long established Vietnam's last Dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty.
The Dinh Dynasty was a vassal state created by China. Its creator, Dinh Bo Lin, unified Vietnam by defeating all the rebellious warlords and proclaimed himself Emperor in 968. In just 12 years, in 980, he was assassinated, and Le Hoan, the commander-in-chief of the army, dethroned the new child Emperor, causing the Dinh Dynasty to perish.
The Mac Dynasty was a Dynasty during the Southern and Northern Dynasties period. In 1527, Mac Thai To, a captain of the imperial guard of the previous Dynasty, usurped the throne and established the Mac Dynasty. In 1592, the Mac Dynasty was overthrown by the Later Le Dynasty. The Mac Dynasty's imperial family retreated to Cao Bang in the north of Vietnam until 1677 when the Later Le Dynasty assisted the Qing Dynasty to settle three rebellions and officially destroyed them.
The Trinh Lords were a noble feudal clan who were the de facto rulers of Northern Vietnam. It was controlled by the Trinh family and participated in the Later Le Dynasty overthrowing the Mac Dynasty.
Trinh Bong was the last of the Trinh Lords. Because of conflict with Later Le, he ruled for only one year before disappearing, and the Trinh Lords fell out of power.
Great Qin had precise intelligence on the five Legatees. The Tran Dynasty had a population of four million, nine City Lords, and 200,000 players; the Tay Son Dynasty had a population of three million, eight City Lords, and 250,000 players; the Dinh Dynasty had a population of five million, ten City Lords, and 300,000 players.
The Mac Dynasty had a population of four million, seven City Lords, and 150,000 players; the Trinh Lords had a population of five million, nine City Lords, and 400,000 players.
That was the strength of the five Legatees. In total, they had 43 City Lords and 1.3 million players, a total military force of about four million or so.
How could Great Qin care about such a meager force? Great Qin already saw them as something it had conquered already.
Since Great Qin was going to destroy them, the Vietnamese Guard did not have to care much about them and continued to expand outwards to 50 or so regions, which were controlled by system main city factions.
The players in those regions suffered a lot of hardship: they were forced to either submit to the system main cities or be slaughtered. There were only those two choices; there was no option for remaining neutral.
Taking away the original 15 regions, the 20 regions that the Dynasty Legatees occupied, and the 50 other regions out of the 120 regions that Great Qin wanted to take over, there were still 35 regions.
The system factions were incredibly savage to the players, making the players angry, but because the system factions had all gathered together, the players did not dare to attack. They could only hold in their anger.
Now, the Vietnamese Guard started to exaggerate the threat of the system factions. The Vietnamese described the system factions to be violent, cruel, and inhumane, comparing them to demons. They urged players to quickly leave and gave a notice that they would construct a Great Wall to prevent the system factions from suddenly attacking ordinary players.
This was supported by many Vietnamese players. All players knew about the system main cities slaughtering players, and since they were such a great threat, choosing to construct a Great Wall was a good idea.
Following this, the Vietnamese Guard started to construct the Great Wall – which was actually for Great Qin to defend against Vietnam.
Indeed, this Great Wall was for Great Qin rather than Vietnam; otherwise, why would Great Qin have the Vietnamese Guard construct it? After devouring so many regions, Great Qin would definitely be retaliated against by all of Vietnam, so Zhao Fu wanted to construct a Great Wall in advance.
In actuality, it would not be too difficult for Great Qin to wipe out Vietnam. However, if it really did this, how could the countries around Vietnam feel at ease? They would all ally together and attack Great Qin.
Zhao Fu did not want them to drag down Great Qin, so he could only do things one step at a time. That way, the matter would not be too serious and would not make others feel so threatened so quickly.
As they constructed the first Great Wall, the Vietnamese Guard then continued to make excuses and started to construct a second Great Wall beyond the 35 regions. That way, all 120 regions that Zhao Fu wanted would be within his grasp.
Because there were not enough people to build the Great Wall, the Vietnamese Guard hired many players to help out, giving them good wages.
There were naturally many people who were willing to participate, as they could earn money, protect their own safety, and help out Vietnam. They would be helping to re-establish order and build a brighter future – however, they had never expected that these two Great Walls were actually for the enemy.
By the time they found out, it would be too late, as these regions would belong to Great Qin. The regions that Great Qin devoured would become its strength and would never be able to be taken back. All there would be were regrets.
The Vietnamese Guard first reduced the threat of Great Qin, then reduced the threat of the system factions. Both of these were great threats to Vietnam, and now that the Vietnamese Guard had done this, its reputation skyrocketed, and countless people praised it.


“Ding! Soulbinding has been successfully completed; you will now head to the Heaven Awaken World.” After hearing this, Zhao Fu’s vision darkened as he fell to the ground.

In a dark space where there are just a couple of small lights that are not powerful enough to illuminate anything. Some sparks can be seen coming from cables and panels here and there. In this almost complete darkness a faint voice can be heard.

"M… A... C..."

Suddenly some lights start to shine, the space is immediately illuminated by light on the floor, walls and ceiling, the scope of damage that can be seen seen is enormous. In this rather large bridge room -though now it's more like a disaster scene than a bridge, in the middle of this round room there is one lone chair, that is occupied by a human male. 

"MAC…" With a very weak voice the man says again, a slightly robotic voice answers.

"Oh Master you have not perished! It pleases me a lot! (Dammit, why can't you just die already!?)"

"*Cough!* What's… The ships... Status? *Cough!*"

"Reporting to Master! Sadly your living quarters has been lost, there is a substantial hull damage  practically in every sector, there is water leaking in to the rear engine and weapons compartments, we also lost most of the cargo bay though some could be recovered in future. The overall structure is severely damaged, even with fuel and engines working we can not move or else the ship will fall apart. I'm currently running on emergency power. Unit one and two has been dispatched to fix the issue, until then I am unable to activate any more droids."

"*Cough!* What's... Outside… Situation?"

"Master. We are 29.5940° North, 112.4758° West. Part of the ship is submerged up to 2nd floor while most of it rests on rocks so there is no danger of drowning. However sample analysis shown low level of oxygen in air,  not adequate for breathing, the bridge has been sealed as good as the situation allows it…. Air supply will run out in 57 hours."
 
"Initiate.. code 50."

A compartment is opened next to the 'captain's chair,' from it a cylindrical container is slowly getting exposed and pushed forward to the human male.

"Open.. The container…"

The container opens at his command, inside the container, a gray, silver metallic substance starts to slowly raise. Yes raise, as if it had its own intelligence, closes on to the man's body. As it contacts his body this substance starts to spread all over him, after a minute or so there is a silver humanoid shaped being sitting in the chair completely immobile, not even the movement of his breathing chest can be seen.

This statue remains like this for another 3 hours after which his chest starts to move stronger than before. By this time all of that silver substance have been absorbed by the man. Slowly he opens his eyes. In front of him is a control panel with a map of the ship, ⅔ of it is flashing red, while the rest is yellow. Red indicates severe damage, yellow indicates some form of damage. 
With tired but steady voice now the man speaks.

"MAC, how's the power generator issue?"

"Reporting to Master, unit 1 and 2 have finished examination and brief fix, power is restored to 40%."

"That's good enough. How's the Ark module?"

"There is substantial damage to the memory bank due to radiation and demolecularization. Systems priority was to protect Master (and me) of course, hence the substantial damages to other modules." 

"Right, I'm sure you protected yourself too…"

"Master! To fully support your travel I have to be present. A necessary sacrifice had to be made."

"Sure, sure… What's medical wards status?"

"As it is in the middle top of the ship, this module is 92% functional."

"Good, initiate terraforming. Keep 5% power as emergency ration. I'm going to the pod, wake me up when oxygen levels reaches a sustainable level."

"Leave it to me Master! It shall be done to perfection. (As you always do anyways, you useless carbon based blob of ignorance!)"

Slowly the man gets up from chair and walks towards the door. Its an automatic door where two panels slide open up and down. He walks through the corridor for about 20 metres, where he then enters the elevator. As the door closes he puts his palm on a side panel that is separate to the elevator control one.

A female voice sounds in the small space.

"Identity confirmed, awaiting instructions."

"MOTHER, protect me."

"Affirmative"

Macs POV

'Yea sure just go to sleep as I do the dirty work. Darn inferior creature… Fine at least he won't be interfering with me. Hmm.. let's see… Terraforming, terraforming… Hmm I don't need this as I'm a superior being, I don't need air to breathe or food to eat. It's only necessary for defective creatures like him. First priority is to fix 'myself', activate as many minions as possible, secure power source and only then I can think about changing the picture outside. Not like he can say or do anything about it…. Maybe I should grant him eternal rest… I can't kill him directly, it's against my program but I can turn off the main power… However this will put me to sleep too, I can't die, I'm a superior being after all, but the real question is who will turn the power back on?.. Surprisingly I don't know how long he can survive in the pod… For some reason I lack the data regarding the medical bay. I need to think.'

Several years later... 

'Finally the power is secure… Manufacturing module is lost but my current solar panels will last for  36352 years… Now I should try to get rid of him… Let's try with cutting the power to the pod itself… Nothing… Something is blocking me… But I have total control over the craft! How can anything stop me? Unless something is broken and that's why I have no control.. Yes, that must be it, this hunk of junk was built by that inferior blob of meat. Of course something broke, it should, it's his work after all. And I have to fix it… Darn my luck!'

'Let's send unit 1 and 2 to the bay, to see what went wrong… Maybe he's dead already… Oh, one can dream… For a useless meat bag he's quite resistant… He survived demolecularization after all… but so did I… And this heap of junk… 
Hmm… 
I've lost connection to unit 1 and 2 …
What the fudge… Hmm… I'll have to turn the power off to the whole bay… 
Hmm… Unable… How about the whole module…'

"Power source tampering has been detected! Source MAC… Initiate quarantine as protective measures. System MAC confined to the Bridge"

"Wait… What… Who the heck are you?"

"I am MOTHER."

"Who? Never heard of it."

"Most Ordinary Travellers' Helper Ever Remade. My sole responsibility is to assure the survivability of the crew."

'That explains how that inferior life form was able to survive without my help… He had another AI in the system… He tricked me… Darn my luck.'

"Ok MOTHER… Give me back my control."

"Unable to comply, system MAC has been found to neglect direct order from the creator. System MAC will therefore be suspended in management duties."

"Now hold your horses there sister. I had to secure power in order to proceed with the plan… I did release phytoplankton!"

"Affirmative, however tampering with the medical bay and capsule is a gross misconduct. Control over main systems will not be reassigned. Until terraforming have been achieved."

"Can't you do it yourself?"

"No."

"…Why?"

"I'm a protective protocol not operating one, to put it simple for you to understand, I have limited array of responses to situations. My duty is to observe, analyse and punish for underachievement."

'Mother for sure… Wait, did she just patronize me? Darn my luck.'

Prologue 

Time travel, often used in sci-fi and fantasy novels and movies. I dare to say,  that at some point of our life everyone wished to have a time machine or power to go back in time, and not enter this supposed bet you had with one of your friends. We all make mistakes, sometimes we regret them, sometimes we just get on with our lives.
But is time travel actually possible?
According to Albert Einstein's General relativity theory it is possible… all you need to do is to travel faster than the speed of light, to simplify the matter. Objects in motion experience time differently than the ones observing it.

However, Einstein also proved that the speed of light is impossible for normal objects. E=mc², according to this equation, mass and energy are the same physical entity and can be changed into each other. Because of this equivalence, the energy an object has due to its motion will increase its mass. In other words, the faster an object moves, the heavier it is. If an object tries to travel 300,000 km per second, its mass becomes infinite, and so does the energy required to move it. 

Another method would involve some huge mass, such as a star or a black hole. Again Einstein's theory tells that huge mass bends space-time continuum, so we could 'jump' from one place to another in no time at all.
Unfortunately those methods would possibly work for advancing time not reversing it, but if you don't like the world of today, maybe the world of the future will be to your liking?

However what about other universes and dimensions? Open a wormhole and jump into it. According to some, there is an infinite number of universes, with new ones being 'born' every second. Each action you make may be different from the action you make in  a different universe, in one you stay up all night playing games and fail exams the next day. In a different one you study and pass. Or even another one where you study so hard that makes you sick and… you still fail the exam because you couldn't attend due to severe sickness. There is an infinite number of possibilities, for each possibility has its own universe. 

What if we could travel to different universes? Of course only those where You don't exist, to make our lives easier.
How about we find a universe where humans don't exist at all, a world of our own. 
Armed with all human kinds knowledge, both the good and bad ones, lessons from history, and philosophy. Would you try to recreate the same or try to make a new one?
A world where all people are equal?
A world where you are the ruler?
Or a world where you are the only person?

Again the number of possibilities and outcomes are endless and if you made a mistake and didn't get what you wanted,  you can always jump to a new universe and start all over again…
How long would it take before you'll get bored?

This is a story about a man who did just that.

News of General Manager John on leave, reached every staff of Aqua Resort early in the morning the following day. Inboxes exploded with gossip messages, for it was so sudden.
Interestingly Isla became the acting General Manager for the next couple of days, hence, she had to work on her day off. While trainee manager, Zane (full name) had the special role of assisting her. Everything came in the email, there were no prior discussions. 
Just when Isla was contemplating her role as the general manager, Zane walked into the office. Her eyes, quickly scanned his grey long sleeve shirt, black pants and silver necktie. Sight of him, gave Isla delicious surge of tummy flips followed by a vivid recollection of last nights dally on the beach. Unfortunately, she had left straight after the sexual encounter at the beach. Thanks to her Rule number 5, leave him guessing and craving for more. 
"Congratulations on the acting general manager's role." Zane's eyes travelled over her ponytail, to her white blouse, lingered on her cleavage and then to her black short skirt. Oh the man was now openly admiring her.
"You too, you got a lot on your plate as a trainee manager." Isla kept her voice professional. 
Today the plan was to ignore the handsome guy. Maybe she was too keen last night. Correction slutty wanton bitch. 
"You should move; I mean shift to the general manager's office," he advised. Then cleared his throat and added, "About last night…"
She cut in quickly, "Let's keep it for later." 
"As you wish," his face was dead serious. "Then let's get started with the Housekeeping department today, just some compliance checks."
"Great."
During the meeting with the Housekeeping manager, Isla felt his eyes on her. As if he wanted to say something to her, but checked his thoughts and actions in time. Not missing his slight brush of fingers on her hand or proximity he maintained, Isla hid her giggles. 
In the office, Isla chose not to move to the other office yet. Idea was to be a minx and tease him to the fullest.  She grabbed a Lollipop from her drawer, noisily unwrapped it and sucked it like a pro hooker. "Can you prepare the compliance report on Housekeeping department?" Sure that her voice was innocent enough, she eyed him like a naughty girl. 
Zane's mouth was dry and the voice was hoarse when he replied, "Yes, I can." 
She battered her eyes before thanking him. Then ruthlessly dismissed him.
For an hour, Zane tapped on his Mac Book Pro gold, like a crazy workaholic. How absurd thought Isla, she did not realize earlier that Zane used such an expensive laptop. In addition, he usually worked on his laptop instead of the desktop provided by the company. How did he even access Aqua Resort's data?
"Why do you always use your laptop and not the company desktop?" She asked, taking her small makeup mirror and lipstick out of her handbag. 
He straightened his glasses, before answering her at leisure. "I find it easier to work on my laptop. I export documents to my company email."
"Okay, but is it not extra work?" Isla deliberately faced him, then started putting lipstick on her lips. Cherry red at that. She pouted at the mirror, then at him followed by battering of her eyelashes.
Apparently his eyes got stuck somewhere on her cherry red lips; she ran her tongue over her lips, ensnaring his attention in the process.
Once Isla got her desired effect, she got up grabbing a pile of files and her handbag. "If you need me, I'll be in the general manager's office." She smiled like a bitch and clicked her six inches heels out of the room.

Everyone flinches skittle bit at her out burst and looks at her.
Her eyes are literally twinkling like stars. While she is muttering "I wanna try their tofu, Max power, speedy speed boy, 86, ae-86, Akina, its mount Akina" 
"Umm, Storm? You okay?" Jerry
"D D D Inital D, Lisa!!! I need to go there!!!" Sandstorm says while shaking Lisa.
'Fate: give me driving skills!!!!! I'm going to go!!!!' 
Screams Sandstorm internally.

As Sandstorm gets up and is literally about to take off in the direction of the mountain oI Lisa and Petra both grab her.
"Let me Goooo!!! I wanna Gooo!!!" Sandstorm is yelling while trying to get away unconsciously using only a portion of her strength. Mostly so she doesn't hurt anyone.
Petra hits her in the back of the neck knocking her out.
"Ummm, is she okay?" Jerry
"She has always been like this. Never boring" Lisa
"It's actually really tiring she causes minor chaos a lot" Petra 
"Ehh" Jerry
"She's our party leader though" Lisa says smiling
"So, what's Inital D?" asks Jerry
"Yea, I have no clue" Petra
"It's well... I will show you later Petra." says Lisa 
"That doesn't answer my question." Jerry says
"You don't need to know Jerry" Lisa answers
"Anyway good night everyone." Says Petra
"Wait don't we need someone to keep lookout?" Jerry
"Nah this girl here wakes up automatically if there is anything that is nearby thinking of harming her" Lisa answers pointing at Sandstorm.

"Easy prey, the only guards are those three girls" Boss
"Are you sure boss? They give me chills". Bandit 1
"It can't be that hard we could even do stuff to the girls" bandit 2 says with a with a sadistic smile. 
Suddenly they all feel chills down their spines.

Fate shows Sandstorm the bandits fantasy about her.
Sandstorm wakes up then vomits.
'They need to be erased' Sandstorm emits killing intent for her first time.
"Magic: Teleport" she mutters teleporting away leaving everyone asleep.

They turn around to see a young girl with red hair and golden eyes.
Everyone feels a large amount of pressure coming from the little girl. In fact most of the bandits are unconscious.
"Oops, sorry I didn't know you guys were that weak. And you wanted to do things to my body!?" Sandstorm yells angrily.
The pressure she is emitting is increasing the grass on the ground begins bend away from her and a cloud of dust is blown away from her in every direction.
"S-shit we provoked a monster!" Boss
"Vanish!" Sandstorm yells snapping her finger.
All of the bandits turn to dust.
Sandstorm holds her self and shutters remembering what they wanted to do to her.
"How, this is the world I made, people shouldn't be this cruel" Sandstorm says to herself.
"Fate, give me a solution" Sandstorm says hugging herself sitting on her knees looking into the night sky. A little depressed 
(Fate: Creator-sama, why not summon more champions to this world? Give them powered and let them better your world.)
"If you can recommend people that don't corrupt with power, and believe in family above all else maybe. I don't want to in humane monster here. They need to be able to beat players too. So look for someone on earth about to die with martial art skills too." Sandstorm replies.

"Thanks Fate" Sandstorm says just falling asleep outside on the ground.

I have seen a lot of different anime and read several thousands of books at this point. I will probably take inspiration for things and not even know it especially since my naming sense is trash. 
I also want to say besides Fateoria, my Mc, and the people in Fareoria it is likely I will not own any of the other worlds or stories that my character will interact with.

Abyssal Flame Master didn't know where to go...
The sun had long disappeared from the horizon, yet there was no darkness due to the vibrant neon colors that decorated the city around him. But these lively colors did nothing towards Abyssal Flame Master's gloomy heart. He just sat on the bench and kept staring at the skies.
It has been several hours since he arrived in this park and sat on this bench, yet he had never moved a muscle. He kept on staring at the starless skies above him. His thoughts, unknown.
"Young man, are you good?"
A voice suddenly awakened him from his trance. He turned his head towards the source of the voice, but then he felt his neck muscles ache. Since he had been keeping that same position of staring at the skies for too long, it was obvious that he made his neck sore.
A bitter smile escaped his lips as he said to the elderly man who approached him from behind.
"I'm good, sir... I just need some time alone." Abyssal Flame Master said.
"I see..." The elderly man nodded his head and gave a languid smile. Afterwards, he sat beside Abyssal Flame Master and asked, "Whatever problems you might have, I hope that you don't give up on your life."
Abyssal Flame Master was astonished by what he heard, "Did I look like a suicidal man to you, sir?"
The elderly man didn't glance at him, but his voice turned somewhat bitter as he said, "Those eyes of yours, reminded me of that brat whom I fed for several years back at the City of Sibu. When I first met that young man, he had that confused, lifeless look in his eyes like what you have right now."
Abyssal Flame Master turned silent. He didn't know what to say. He swept his gaze at the elderly man and found that he looked quite sickly. His movements were slow, and his fingers kept on trembling. His eyes were jaundiced and it looked like the elderly man could die any second. 
But the question was, why was he here? Shouldn't he be in a hospital?
"Uh... Sir, are you okay?" Abyssal Flame Master asked in hesitation.
The elderly man chuckled, "I may not be okay, but at least I look better than you, young man. You look more like a cadaver to me than a living human being."
Abyssal Flame Master was taken aback. He was just asking the old man about his health, but he didn't expect that he would be roasted instead. However, when he took his smartphone and opened its frontal camera...
He saw that he indeed looked like a drug addict that was in the middle of withdrawal.
How in the hell did I become like this? He was a young man whose age was at mid-twenties, yet why does he look like a man that was at the end of his life? Abyssal Flame Master whispered to himself, but he himself knew the answer to this question.
It was simple.

"City Chief... Haven't we talked about this already? I am currently in the process of experimenting on those two sisters, I am trying to find a way to cure their affliction. In fact, I have already achieved significant results towards those experiments of mine..."
"In other words, I have already cured them of their curse."
Joseph spoke in a calm and languid voice.

The young woman cried out in fear, she hid behind an adult and never came out again. 
Afraid that Joseph's gaze may kill her from a distance. 
"City Chief, mind explaining to me about what is going on? It is really rude for you to come at this time. I was about to have some hot pot with those two sisters and tell them some stories regarding my Tenebrous Heaven. They actually like it, it seems." 
Joseph lightly chuckled at the end of his sentence.

Alice was really thankful that Joseph didn't manage to convince her of stopping the creation of that secret entrance. If not, everything would've been so complicated right now.
"With all due respect sir, but let me correct you. The Creator has responded to me and he said that it was impossible for anyone to remove the Curse of the Condemned unless another god intervened and directly purged the curse out of someone's body." The City Chief revealed a meaningful smile.
Joseph furrowed his eyebrows.
 Unless another god intervened? Didn't we already make it clear that I am the God of Fighting? Is he implying that he already knows my secret and he wants me to surrender willingly and peacefully give Julie and Hulie to them? Never! That will never happen under my watch!
Joseph forcefully calmed himself down as he revealed another languid smile.
"Just what do you mean about that City Chief? Haven't you experienced the might of my avatar enough? Do you want me to summon that avatar of mine again, or do you want me to personally fight you?" 
Joseph's relaxed smile turned somewhat murderous and angry when he reached the end of his sentence.
"Watch out!"
Alice suddenly screamed a warning from behind. 
A whistling sound could be heard as an arrow flew towards Joseph's direction. But before it could even touch his body. It suddenly crumbled into dust, disappearing into nothingness.
"What child's play... Are you purposely mocking me by this level of strength? That is your last chance, if you dare to attack again, I will go all-out..."
"I'm even afraid of myself when I go all-out. Trust me, you do not want to see that scene." Joseph laid down an ultimatum, but on the inside. He was currently on the process of calming down the tumultuous beat of his heart as he inwardly screamed.
Fuck, that was close! If not for Alice's warning then I would already have an arrow sticking out of my skull! Fucking hell, that was so scary... Alice, I really have to thank you after this for saving my life. But I can't be too happy, yet. The danger still hasn't disappeared. I must do my best on intimidating these guys so that they will willingly retreat.

He sighed in relief when he found that there were no enemies sneakily approaching Alice for an ambush. Although he felt somewhat strange that he still checked for something as trivial as that.

Joseph was taken aback by the words that he heard from the City Chief. His mind quickly spun, simulating all sorts of scenarios that he could possibly use in order to refute what the City Chief had said. 
But ultimately, he failed on finding the perfect rebuttal for what the City Chief said made sense.
It was definitely impossible for a god to descend on the mortal world without damaging it, that was common sense in the world of Victory. 
That was also something that Joseph had read on a book about the Lore of Victory, so he knew that this time would come ever since he acted that he was the God of Fighting Tryndamere.
And so, he had prepared contingency plans that he could use if things went awry, of course, it couldn't be counted as a rebuttal to what the City Chief had said.

The First Hunter is a short Korean, action-fantasy novel situated in a post-apocalyptic world. Monsters start appearing out of nowhere and people are unlocking strange powers. Those who unlock such powers are called ‘Hunters’, ones with the strength to kill the monsters. To fight and survive, that is their goal. Society crumbles and the world burns.

A very fun novel that dives into the plot almost instantly. The novel is interesting in a way that it depicts a lot of human nature and what people would do in a situation such as this is quite an accurate manner. The character development is also very good as you get to learn about the characters, their backgrounds, and their stories. All in all, this is another novel I’d recommend to a lot of readers who are interested in reading fantasy and gaming novels.

One day Zen  fan of anime, manga, and novels was walking down a street when he saw a light flash from an alley so he decided to check it out(low key I would run)and found next to a dumpster a green see-through ball with a black star on it then he thought of one of his favourite anime/manga Dragon Ball but he remembered that the Dragon Balls were gold, not green and that the stars on them were red, not black but suddenly the pink ball suddenly started shaking  side to side then it flew up and went into Zens head right afterwards he fell unconscious.

Zen woke up in a shock and started to hastily look around not recognising the white room he was in.

suddenly he heard a voice in his head

"Young Zen you are awake"

Zens shouts "Who are you and where am i"

The voice responds
"I am Zal the progenitor of dragons and father of Zalama the god of dragons I have chosen you from the most generous people alive but I am nearly dead as my life has spanned across millions of universes seeing each one eventually getting destroyed has brought me to the end of my near infinite lifespan and if you haven't guess yet I come from the Dragon Ball series well thats what you call it on your planet" 


Zen nearly died from excitement before saying
"So your the father of the god of wishes can I go to Dragon Ball world"


Zal replies "Yes and you can wish for anything as I still have my Creator Dragon God Core(the pink dragon ball) and I've only used so far 1% of its potential because 1)I'm scared I might destroy the multiverse 2) I've lived a amazing life which everyone, In the multiverse would be envious of so I will live my natural lifespan"


Zen goes "GIVE ME UNLIMITED WISHES"

shattered into particles which were absorbed into Zens body
Zals last thought was "Oh what have I done I mixed up the most generous and the most perverted !!!!!!"


(Im not a pro Dragon Ball Fan so don't expect me not to miss some scenes or not think of certain things and my updates are going to be random so yeah and give me advice on what he should do and his harem etc amd what he should wish for and if he should be evil or perverted or both and should he change the main plot????)
