Bree felt as if she hardly had a second of free time. Once everyone they'd chosen for the band accepted, practices were scheduled. Since Zelda had already booked so many jobs for Bree, she was playing at night and practicing during the day. It was an exciting whirlwind, but it also left her tired most of the time. She was living off of coffee and other forms of caffeine.
Jordan was directing their practices. He came in far too enthusiastic for Bree's taste early in the morning. "Hey, gang! I think the older stuff is really starting to come along. Let's give it one more day with the songs you've been working on, and then, tomorrow, I'd like to turn it over to the new stuff. Zelda is looking to get some gigs scheduled for next month, so we need to get some new jams together, get everyone hyped up about the new album, which we'll start laying down soon, too. Y'all are really starting to sound like a band now, so it's time to crank things up a notch and get some killer new songs out there."
Bree stared at him for a moment, hoping she'd at least gotten the gist of what he was saying. They'd practice the old songs today and move to the new songs tomorrow. That shouldn't be a problem since she had dozens of songs ready to go, but none of them had been worked through with a band. At least the older songs had been arranged with a full band for their recordings so the new musicians could just play what had been played before. This was brand new territory for her, and she'd have to collaborate with her bandmates to make her new songs sound like she'd wanted them while also making sure everyone got a chance to contribute. It was a little unsettling to her.
"Let's work through this like it's a playlist, what do you say?" Jordan proposed, and everyone agreed. "All right. I'll put it in my recommended order, we can chat about it if you have suggestions, and then will get at it."
"I have a playlist I usually use, if you want it," Bree offered. "There's no sense in reinventing the wheel."
"I'm sure your playlist works just fine for when you're playing solo, but when you're with a band, there are other considerations we've got to think about."
"There are?" Bree asked, really not having ever considered that. "Would you mind explaining?"
"Sure thing. So some of these songs have strong guitar solos in them now that they didn't have when you were playing them by yourself. We want to make sure we spread those out. Same for the other instruments. You've got a strong piano melody in 'Take Me Home' that wasn't there when you played it on the guitar alone. Same with 'Can't Take It.' We don't want those back to back. Make sense?"
"It does. Thanks for explaining." Bree gave him a smile, and Jordan winked at her, which was a little creepy, but she got that it was an older-guy sort of way of saying, "No problem."
"We'll get started in ten," Jordan said, clicking his pen annoyingly as he walked back to the booth.
Most of her bandmates put their instruments away now that they had a small reprieve. Cat hopped up from her stool. "I'm going to go grab some more coffee. Anyone else need a refill?"
"Yes, please!" Bree said, handing over her nearly empty cup.
Cat giggled. She'd gotten Bree more than a few refills recently, so she knew how she took it. "You got it."
The rest of the guys started talking about a baseball game, and Bree pulled her phone out to check it. Trent had sent her a text, saying he hoped she was having a good day. He was so sweet. She knew he had a building he was thinking about leasing to start his new firm here in Nashville. She texted him back to tell him she hoped it was going well.
"Trent doing okay?" Zach asked over her shoulder. She turned to see he wasn't looking at her text, which was a relief. It must've just been a good guess that she was texting her boyfriend. Not that she had anything to hide.
"Yeah. He's good. Thanks." She watched as he messed around with his pedals on the floor, stepping on one and then another. She figured he must be reprogramming them or something. She rarely played an electric guitar, and when she did, she didn't use the pedals. "Are you seeing anyone, Zach?" It seemed like a legitimate question. She'd never asked before, and she felt like she should have since they'd been playing together for a while now, and they were in the same band, after all.
"Not at the moment. Please don't say you have a friend you wanna hook me up with either. That never works out for me."
Bree laughed. "No, I just realized I'd never asked. I know Cat has a boyfriend and Dominic is married. I know Chase is seeing someone and Griffin has sworn off all relationships for all time, but I've never heard you talk about it at all."
He shrugged. "The last girl I was dating was a little bit psycho, to put it mildly. I try not to think about her or dating, if I can help it."
"How can one be a little bit psycho?" Bree wanted to know.
Zach chuckled. "You're right. She's a lot bit psycho."
Before Bree could ask why he said that, Jordan was back with the playlist. Bree felt sorry for Zach that he'd been dating a crazy woman, but she was glad he'd at least gotten out of it. It spoke volumes to Bree that she couldn't even come up with one potential name of a girl she could maybe hook him up with when he was ready. Only Christy really came to mind, and she didn't live nearby. Not that Zach was looking to date anyway.
"All right--this look good to everyone?" Jordan asked, holding up a list as he read the songs off.
Bree liked the order. He'd put a few songs back to back that she typically avoided playing in that order because they had similar messages, but she was definitely willing to let the expert's list speak for itself.
"Let's get at it, then," Jordan said with his trademark enthusiasm.
Cat handed Bree her coffee, and she took a long pull off of it before she stepped over to her microphone. It was weird not having a guitar in her hands, but she trusted her band and liked focusing on the vocals. Dominic counted them down with his drumsticks, and the band started playing the first song on the list, "Blue Skies." Bree closed her eyes and let the music carry her away as her song came to life in ways it never would have without these amazing musicians. She was so proud to call them her band.

Bree remembers the time in high school when Trent almost kissed her. Now, years later, she's still thinking about what could've been. She graduates from college and becomes a successful musician, but when she's hired to sing at a wedding, she has no idea what she's walking into.

Today was the release date of the world's first immersive VR MMORPG and a lot of people were excited since it was the world's first immersive VR game of the ages. 

The developers of this game was "Immortality games. Co" and tonight, at December 30, 2018 11:59 pm, is the release date. Currently, people are already lining up at the company's building and were waiting for the new year and the game release. 

But tonight, an unfortunate boy can be seen running in an alley being chased by a Big dog. 
A while ago, this boy was just walking towards the company "Immortality" when suddenly a big dog gets out of a dark alley, blood was seen dripping out of its mouth mixing it with the saliva that was dripping along the blood. 
And at this moment, the boy knew, he f***ed up. 
The boy immediately runs as fast as he can cause he knows that once the dog catches up he will get killed. 
While running, the boy thinks, 'when did all this start again? Why was I suddenly so unlucky in my life that everything I do involves bad luck in it'
The boy reminisces about his past while of course not forgetting to run as fast as he can...

It was a beautiful day and one can see a a cute little boy running in a green pasture while laughing happily and behind the boy was a woman in her early 30' s chasing her cute son.

Well, you can't actually say ordinary since she is actually the wife and secretary of the CEO of the biggest gadget inventing company in the world, and her daily salary could be counted in the millions and that's daily. Currently, she is here, chasing after her son in a playful manner. 

Beautiful blue eyes and cherry red lips that is basically tempting you to kiss. She has pale, white, smooth and glowing skin and she's currently wearing a white dress filled with floral designs. 
Mary stopped running and sighed as she thinks, 
' I wish this would last forever' 
She slowly turns around and waves to her husband, James, who is wearing a red polo shirt with black pants and white shoes. 
In terms of handsomeness? He is nothing less than his wife. If his wife was a supermodel, then he is a man 80% of  girls would love to marry I mean who wouldn't? Smart, handsome,rich, and has a good personality and all those are what lead him to have a successful business in life. 

James smiled and also waves back to his wife and started to pack up their things so they can get on the road. 

A while later both mother and child returned from their playing an Mary also starts to help James pack up. 

While on the road the boy suddenly takes out a deflated balloon, he laughed happily as he thought he found a new toy to play with. 
He tries to inflate it by blowing on it but he cant as he is too small so he said to his mom, 
" Mom, can you help me inflate this balloon?" 
Mary answers gently, "sure baby just wait until we arrive home and you can play it there." 
But the boy didn't back down and pouted, " But mom, its so boring and if you don't do it, I'll cry."
 
Mary looked at her son with heart shaped eyes and finally she compromised and said, "alright just be careful not to play in the front of the car okay?" 
Mary couldn't help but spoil their son since he was just too cute. She proceeds to inflate the balloon and when she finally did, the balloon slipped from her hands and got caught in front of her husband. James notices this and tried to put the balloon away and when he finally did, they were already about to crash on a electrical pole. James immediately steps on the brake but alas, it couldn't stop.

"Mr. Leo," Glass said with a laugh, "I believe that you've got a plan for this?"
"It seems like this person is still oblivious of his imminent doom… he's still playing trailers?" Leo chuckled and said, "Don't worry."
He was sure that after his new mystical realm was released, this unknown small workshop would vanish from this market.

It was supposed to be just a normal day. Well, if you can excuse the typhoon drenching the world. Richard Simmons had been living in Japan for at least 5 years and still couldn't bring himself to use an umbrella. To him, it was just too troublesome. Yet when it pours like it did on this Thursday afternoon, Richard really might as well have been swimming around town instead of walking if he's going to continuously refuse using an umbrella. Let's be honest, he probably would have been warmer that way at least. Would have saved him the looks from the Japanese people walking past too, he just knew they were looking and thinking that he was crazy.

Let's be honest here, it's hard enough for westerners to walk around a far eastern town, especially when one has bright blonde hair. Yet, when you refuse to use an umbrella even in a typhoon, you really do stand out completely.

Unfortunately for those like Richard who refused to use an umbrella, this Thursday afternoon really was the worst time to be walking around town. 

As Richard was walking along the road trying to dodge the splashing from cars, he couldn't help but think how he wished he was tucked up in bed playing SWTOR. As luck would have it, he was stuck outside, not only having to worry about the weather but also his company's areas manager words. Today was an important meeting for Richards's sake of mind; unfortunately it just didn't go the way Richard had hoped.

Walking along the road, he just couldn't get his managers words or face out of his mind.

{2 hours earlier}

"Richard, I would like to able to promise you things will get better. I'm just not able to. Sure I'll talk to the higher ups about your concerns and I promise you that I'll look into them. But that's all I can do." Dean said with as much empathy as you could expect to find in a dead cat.

Richard was just utterly gob smacked. He had just spent an hour talking with his manager about the various issues and stresses he was facing. Yet, in the end it all boils down to nothing. Just a promise to look into things, a promise Richard knows is worth nothing at the end of the day. How many times has he heard his company's announcements in meetings about how they wanted to make things better for their employees? Only for their actions to always fall short of their sweet words.

"But I've been working here for 5 years. Nothing's changed or improved. Can't you at least offer a raise? I'm still earning the same amount I did when I first got off the plane." Richard replied trying to hide the anger building up inside of him.

Unfortunately it was all for naught. Dean just shrugged, gave more empty promises to look further into things and sent Richard on his way home.

Things seemed so hopeless to Richard. As he was walking out the door he just felt his chest tighten. He loved his job. He loved teaching his students. But his finances were stretched thin. There seemed to be no light at the end of the tunnel. Richard just couldn't see a way to keep on living and working in Japan. While his classmates from university were all moving on with their lives, getting jobs, moving into houses of their own, finding life even getting promotions; Richard's live seemed to be in the same spiral going nowhere. He just felt that 5 year's effort, 5 years of giving his all to improve himself was worthless in the eyes of his company.

He had no idea how long he could continue to work like that, yet couldn't figure a way out. How could he move on from here? He had no idea.

It was at that point he noticed the typhoon and thought to himself "Oh, shit! I'm going to get wet." What a great day for Richard it was turning out to be.

Finally reaching the train station, Richard was utterly drenched. Even the little old ladies were staring now. He couldn't help but moan and grumble at the way things were going in his life even more. As he walked through the ticket gate, he decided to check his phone, remembering that he promised to tell his friend Leon how the meeting went. Of course the following conversation via messages didn't exactly provide any relief. Leon after all was one of those lucky workers in Richards's book. Happily married to a Japanese wife that had a paycheck higher than the one they were getting. 

The amount of times Richard heard Leon saying "Luckily I haven't touched my paycheck yet, all the bills and things have come out of my wife's paycheck. We're saving my paycheck for a holiday". It drove Richard insane! He couldn't help but feel jealous. Sadly for Richard himself, he could never seem to manage to keep a romance going longer than a couple of months, let alone marriage.

Leon was a nice guy, in fact he was one of Richards's best and closest friends in Japan. Yet, Richard couldn't but help his carefree attitude. Nothing seem to bother Leon at all, he never seemed to bother trying to improve things with the company, no matter how much his wife tried persuading him to do so.

Every time Richard tried talking to Leon about making a stand, Leon would always come back with the same response "Mate, no matter how much you complain nothing's going to change to change. Haven't I told you before? We're just a commodity to them. Why should they care as long as there are plenty of other people willing to replace us?" Accompanied with the same old shrug and smirk everyone was used to. If only stares could kill, Richard would have killed Leon at least 1000 times by now at least. Luckily at this point Leon wasn't around so Richard was spared the waste in time of trying. 

Richard really wanted to and needed to find a way out of his current situation. His finances were stretched so thin, and his student debt? Thinking about that just wanted to make him find a hole to crawl into a die. Things just seemed so utterly bleak and impossible.

When the train arrived, it was time for Richard and everyone else at the station to become a sardine in a tin can. Sadly, for a country that is known for the punctuality of its trains, Richard seemed to live in that one area that went against that view. There was always this one line that would always find a way to cancel or be delayed. Especially in a typhoon. So unfortunately for Richard and everyone else at the station, today's train was going to be oh so busy. 

In fact as he was walking on, Richard had to try oh so very hard to not knock over the little old ladies or whack a kid in the face. Not the least stressful thing in the world.
As the train leaves, Richard pulls out his phone again. Why not check out some videos and the news while stuck like a sardine? As he browses the web however he soon notices an announcement a new game. It seems to be the most popular video out right now, so he decides to check out.

How little did he know that his world was about to be blown away.

[Mia] " Really?!!! I'm sure everyone watching this must all be dying to hear more information about this. I myself am dying to know more, so what can you tell us about this game?"

[Asahi] "Well, I'm sorry everyone. At this stage as a company we won't be giving any details away. All I will tell you is this. The game is called Altera Vita. Which if you look up on any translation software is Latin for (Second Life). And that's we aim for in this game. For it to become the second life of everyone that plays it."

[Mia] "Can it really become a second life? Sounds ambitious! Please give us more information!"

[Ashai] "I'm sorry. But for now, the name is all you're getting. Closer to the release date we will be releasing more information. But only a tiny amount, anything of importance is up to the players themselves to discover in the game itself. After all, life doesn't come with a handbook does it? So why should your second life?"

[Mia] "Well, you've got me intrigued. I'm sure everyone watching is too. Can you at least tell us the release date? What about the hardware involved, will it be expensive?"

[Asahi] "I can tell you the release date at least. It will be released January 1st 2021. Just under 2 months away. As for the cost of the game and hardware, that will be unveiled a little latter. We are currently working out the best way to cost such hardware. After all, we want the game to have much an open and balanced community as possible. Thank you so much for your interview today. However, I'm sorry. This is it for all we as a company are willing to disclose at this point in time. Goodbye."

[Mia] "Well, there you have it folks. I will certainly not be dropping this subject anytime soon. So I will be seeing again with more information as soon as I get some! Thank you so much Mr. Asahi. See you again soon everyone!"

Richard just stood and stared at his phone. He must have looked like an idiot to anyone looking at him. After all, who just stares at their phone with their mouth hanging open? Richard could have sworn he heard some kids snickering. Yet at that point he just didn't care about being the crazy foreigner. His mind just couldn't process the video he had just watched.

How could such a thing exist? Virtual reality? Full immersion?! He couldn't stop from pinching himself.

"How can this possible? It's gotta be a lie right?" Richard couldn't help but ask himself. Scrolling through the videos comments it seemed everyone was having the same reaction. 

This really was explosive news. Richard had thought much like everyone else, he thought he would be dead before such a game was released. Yet here it was.

Richard Simmons is a college graduate travelling the world teaching English. While he has come to love his job he has to admit that while he would love to continue to do so, he cannot unless he sorts out his finances, his job as it is just doesn’t pay enough. And yes it sounds crazy trying to make money from playing games, but this is the game to change all games after all, so who knows.

"Why are your emotions so separated? With your psychic and magic potential, they should not be like this.' Zelda sounded horrified about this.

"I do not know what you are talking about?"

"Can you not enter you mindscape?"

"Mindscape?" I had to think for a moment. "Yes, hold a second." I entered my Lin Kuei mediation. I then appeared in front of Zelda. "So what were you saying?"

The only thing weird I found about them, they were incased in chains. Purple pink chains and whitish blue ones.  Some more than others. "Why are you so repressed and restrained?"

"I dont know what this is? I think I should ask Galtea?" Before I could ask, Zelda stop me.

"Wai! Let me help you. I wish to earn my keep. This is an area of my expertise." Zelda looked at me quite happy. The strands allowed me to know she was desperate. Desperate to prove herself.

"Also be careful in the battle. Demons can mess with your head a little.." I started to say before she waved me off. She said she knew already which I thought was good that Galtea already explained it to her. I felt a small not in my chest for some reason. Something was off but I didnt know what. Switching back into a deeper meditation I switched my concionuess deeper towards the me in Final Fantasy 10.
