In the morning, the bells sang their Symphony like the last day. 


But today Jun was already awake.
He waked up earlier to look after the morning show.

As promised these three gathered at the front of their apartment, near a bench situated to a side of the first floor railings.

Every floor of the tower had an open circular middle bordered by banisters.
Many benches furnished this ring-shaped floor, composed by dark a light wood flooring in a Herringbone pattern. This floor style gives a feeling of infinite head arrows chasing each other, in a perpetual race.

As the first Sun rises from his sleep, the ceiling changed in a show of it, revealing its proud light.

The first to move in this stage, was the main actor, the one with golden armor and sword, the representation of Michael itself. (Found by the group, yesterday)
Giving the order with his sword the marble angels took their first steps.

Every time a new sun rises, a disc of fire appears on the ceiling. Each one gave birth to waterfalls of flames, falling on the fountain.

The general on his thrones of fire and flames, left his place to reach the rostrum. When he was about to reach the center of the tower, a pillar of fire raised up from the foundation. At the top of the column, a podium expanded from the flames.
The trumpeter angels stopped their job and the snakes of water forsaken by their masters, went to climb the new pillars of flames. Like vines, branches and twigs were generated from these water creatures. Fruits grow up from these branches, becoming water chimes and bells, big and small.
Given the command, these musicians opened up the symphony, followed by the bells.

In this way, the morning hymn has begun with angels dancing and singing in the chorus.

Early the next day, Mu Lingxi and her friends woke up almost at the same time.
They do have a class to attend for that day, that was why they see to it that they would wake up as soon as the sun broke to the horizon
As part of his daily routine, Fan Lei started to open each of their windows to allow some fresh air to come in.
That was what he always do first thing in the morning.
This also made the first rays of the morning sun to filter their room, making it looked more lively and warm.
Mu Lingxi who sat at the upper deck of the bed that was positioned at the far left side of their room was the first one to receive the direct morning rays that of the sun.
She was busy wiping the sleepiness away from her eyes as the sun was sending its first rays through the open window.
Meanwhile, her cat Janus was also busy stretching his paws and crooked shanks as he bathed with the warm sunlight.

"That was a hauler, I saw the spell for making that on our Black Magic book."
Fan Lei said when they finally saw the end product of the letter transformation.
What they were seeing before them was an origami art that resembled a mouth or a beak and it remained afloat in thin air all by itself without much of an effort.
When the hauler started to move its 'lips' up and down they heard Long Yue's voice on the background.
"Good morning guys, don't worry about me.  I just went to Schoolmaster Yin's office to check about something.
I think I was starting to hear things. Last night, I heard someone talking to me. But the problem is there was only me and Luna inside the folded space at that time!
That was why I decided to consult Schoolmaster Yin to see if he had any idea what was happening.  I think Luna was starting to talk to me. Can you believe that?! I guess you don't. Well, me either.

I couldn't help but smile every time I remembered the events of these past days between me and Sophia. There has been progress on what we have so far. 
We have just finished our board meeting this morning and my next meeting will be around 11 am, so I still have time to call her. I check the time on my wristwatch and it's only 9:00 o'clock in the morning. I'm sure she's still in bed at this moment. 
She picked up the call after the first ring. 
"Hello, Mr. Kelle----I mean, Mr. husband."
I chuckled when she immediately changed what she was about to call me. I remembered she told me she wouldn't call me again Mr. Kelley or even my name, but Mr. husband instead. 
"Good morning, sweetheart."
"Good morning, Mr. husband."
I can't contain the smile that creeping to my face whenever she calls me that. 
"Have you eaten the breakfast I prepared for you this morning?"
"Ahm... I hadn't eaten it yet, but I brought it here to the studio and I'm actually going to eat it now."
"You're already at the studio?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows. "But it's still early, I thought your call time is around 10 am.?"

I didn't utter a word but I narrowed my eyes on him. 
"Ohh, I'm just kidding, Sir. I just have to give you these reports from the marketing department." He said putting the three blue folders on my desk. He's biting his lips, so I know he's just controlling his laugh. 
"Don't you know how to knock?" I asked, fixing my tie and put my phone inside my pocket. 
But I glanced up at him, frowning when he suddenly burst out laughing. 
"Believe me, Sir, I did more than five times. But when I didn't hear anything from you inside, I just decided to enter your office. And then I found out that the reason why you're not responding was because you're busy."
He smirked as he took a seat in front of me. 
"You're busy talking to your 'sweetheart'."
And he emphasised the word sweetheart.
"I was just checking on her." I said avoiding his gaze. I took the first folder and scanned the files, even though my attention wasn't really there. 
"Ohh... you were just checking on her." He repeated, nodding. "I heard you cooked breakfast for her."
I know it was not a question, it was just a confirmation. 
"Yes." I answered shortly. 
"Whoah! I can't believe that the CEO of an international company cooks for his 'sweetheart! Tsk.tsk.tsk. I knew it! It's probably a symptom!"
I raised my eyebrow as I glanced back at him. 
"Symptom?"
"It's a symptom that you're in love! You're in love with your wife!"
I was speechless for a few seconds before I form words again. 
"Tss! What are you talking about?"
"Tsk.tsk.tsk. You've changed, dude! As I remember, you don't want to call her before, you don't want to see her, and you don't even want to hear anything about her, but look at what love has changed you!

"Oops! I mean, have you already had breakfast?" He smirked as put the new bouquet of tulips on the vase on top of my desk. 
"That's not your first question."
"Ohh? I don't remember saying anything."
"Craig!" I warned narrowing my eyes at him. 
He sighed and took a seat on the couch. 
"Okay, so do you want to discuss it?"
"Discuss what?" I asked, pretending I didn't know what he was talking about. 
"Come on, Sophia!" He threw his hand in the air. "Are you falling in love with him?"
I gulped as I avoided his gaze. Suddenly, I recognized the beauty of the flowers near my desk. 
"Are you falling in love with your husband?"
I closed my eyes and sighed. "No!"
"Liar!"
He's frowning at me when I glanced back at him. 
"I'm not falling in love with him, because I already am."
And that left him speechless for a few seconds. 
"Holy shit, Girl! Do you remember what I told you before? It's better to bite your tongue than to eat your words!"
And I am now biting my lips. 
"I don't know how it happened, Craig, I just realized that I love him. I don't even know how to explain, how to understand this feeling."
"Then why do you have to explain it? Why should you worry about explaining the things that only your heart can do?"
I sighed and decided to sit next to him on the couch. 
"Falling in love is an unexplainable thing, an expression, a touch, and a feeling. Once you fall in love, only your heart can understand everything that happens around you."
"But we can't be together."
He gave me the kind of look like I'd grown into two heads. 
"What are you talking about that you can't be together? Hello! You're already married!"

When he put his arm around my waist and said the words 'Let's go, sweetheart', it was then I realized that I wasn't dreaming. This is all true, he's changed. I just hope he really feels the same way for me. 
While we are walking towards his car, I can't help but furrow my eyebrows as I heard him humming a song. I remained quiet until we reached the car and he started the engine. 
"What's the title of that song?"
He looked at me slightly surprised. Maybe he didn't notice that he was humming loudly. 
"Ahm... actually, I don't know. I just heard it from Andrew earlier."
"And now you sing it too?" I chuckled when he scratched the back of his neck. It's one of his cute mannerisms. 
"Last song syndrome." He shrugged. 
"Can you sing a few lines?"
"That's the problem, sweetheart, I can't sing like you."
"Oh, come on, I don't believe you. Sing it just a few lines."
"Okay, just don't laugh at me!"
"I won't, I promise." I said lifting my right hand as a sign of promise. 
I don't know how many times he sighed before he started to sing.

And that's how I feel today as I write this. I feel small, a girl with a lot of problems in a world where everyone has a big world of problems. And because of that nobody pays attention to anybody and nothing matters but their own world. I feel like this story is just another one of countless stories, even if for me it was brutal. Brutal and revolting.
I got the call this morning. Actually, I woke up with the call. It was 6:30.
"Mmhello?" I asked in a muffled sleeping voice, still tapping on my cell to find the sound output.
"Megan Mourne from the Daily Inquirer?"
"It's me..."
The voice on the other side of the line uttered the words complacently and formally, as if taking care not to leave me in a very shaken state, but it did not help. I heard the first part and then my mind wandered off.
Jim Sanford was dead. He had been brutally murdered. In the middle of the night. In the middle of the street. In the middle of the park.
And it was all so sudden. One moment I was at the Blue Barry's drinking with Beth and him, we even ordered that big lamb sandwich that came with an endless amount of fries, which we left more than half on the table... And now he was dead.
I don't remember exactly what I did after that. I vaguely remember the scenes: I looked at myself at the mirror with that staring expression, staring at my toothbrush and the toothbrush staring back at me, the foam running down and my mouth burning.
I remember forgetting my bus card and coming back to pick it up, and when I came back I remembered that I also forgot toi lock the door to the living room.
I remember sitting in the room and staring at the wall for a moment.
And when I realized, I was at the scene. In the middle of the park. There was an embolishment of people around what looked - and was - like a body, lying on the half wire, facing the side of the street.
Cops tried to put order in, but the curiosity was impossible. People had vomited on the floor. Everything was disgusting. But I didn't even notice the smell... I didn't even notice the horror. I didn't even notice how the bones in his back were showing, that they had gone through the muscles of the trapezium. All I saw was his face. Jim's.
A lepid, tenacious face. A mixture of his good humor and hard work were drawn in his face. All his jokes and puns that were done in the worst possible time, all his perseverance at those times when they wanted to take him out of his job. His glasses were still there. Slightly dropped. It made me want to fix them. It was probably me, but he seemed to be sketching a smile. He seemed to start sketching it as soon as he saw me.
But he didn't see me. He didn't smile. He wasn't there anymore. And that was the last time I would see him.
Jim Sanford was a DEA investigator. You know? The drug control department. The police lost an important piece that day.
After that it started raining. It rained hard. Amidst the noise of the water punishing us I somehow managed to hear my cell phone ringing. It was Beth with four missed calls. She'd probably just been tipped off.
I held the phone vaguely and watched the connection be lost. Without reaction.
"DEA investigator found dead in the middle of park" Sounds like a cover...
I shook my head negatively. How was I thinking about work at a time like this?
Would someone from the Inquirer do such a thing that day? They should decree a day of mourning. At least that. No... It was probably just me there who knew Jim. The rest of you would just do a very violent cover story and still come up with a vulgar joke in the title.
I definitely wasn't in the mood for it... But I knew I needed it. I had to get in charge of it. I couldn't rest if someone else took care of it in my place. I decided to show up at the Inquirer and force Larry to leave me in charge of the story. And then I would ask Beth for help. We'd do it together.
I tried calling Beth again, but there was no signal, so I gave up. I looked around and saw the bus. I got on it and waited for it to arrive at the Daily Inquirer.
You need to understand my mind was really flying that day. The bus I took wasn't even the one that went to the journal. I was in Meadow Park at the crime scene and I just took the first one that passed by
Even the bus I got wrong.
It took me over an hour to get it right and show up for duty. I was disheveled and soaked.

"Don't start it! I'm going to work today!" I knew exactly what Harrison and the rest of the staff were gonna tell me.
"Where's Larry?" I asked before he said anything else about it.
"He's in his room... I tried calling you. Where were you?" Harrison seemed overly concerned.
I stopped by the workroom where Harrison and Mrs. Ford were working and went straight to Larry's room. He was in the back. It was protected with glass so we wouldn't hear anything there that he wanted to hide from us.
Once inside he was hanging from the phone, having a conversation with that thick mug of coffee in his hand as usual. You could see his half-headed face through the window glass. He saw me and made a funny face. But he kept on the phone.
I knocked at the door, took a deep breath and went in.
"Wait a minute, Megan's here" he said to the phone, putting it on the table, "hi, Megan. I thought you weren't coming today... God, you look awful. I thought you'd insist on working because that's the way you are, but I'm sorry... Sanford's story was given to Peter first thing in the morning. He was here... And let's face it... You know you're not the best person to..."
"Larry! I... I need to do this" I said, leaning over the table. "If it's not to write about Jim's... I'm going back home. Frankly... Look at me. I just want to go home. But I can't..."
Larry stared at me with his oval poker face as his little grey eyes blinked one after the other behind his round glasses. You could never tell what he was thinking. Was he considering my feelings? Was he trying to kick me from there and that was it? Was he trying to give me another totally disconnected job the day Jim dies? I couldn't tell.
I sweated in anticipation at that moment of silence while he pondered, and after brief suspense he let go:
"Right, Megan... I'm gonna call Peter."
That day was being awful, but still my face opened in a smile at that little moment.
"Thanks, Larry. You're the best!" I went around the table and gave him a hug.
"Hey!" Larry protested almost knocking over his thick mug of coffee, "But y'see... You're gonna have to do this right! No letting emotion get to... Ah! Forget it."
"Don't worry, Larry. I'll make it the best news paragraph of Monday."
"Today is Tuesday, megan."
Larry, you fool. Who do you think I am to let my emotions get in the way of my work?

The first thing I did was trying to contact Beth again. This time she answered her cell. Things were getting better.
"Meg? Where are you? Been calling you all morning..."
"Hello? Beth? Did you go to the department today?" Beth was Jim's partner. The three of us knew each other. Me, her and Jim. Jim used to live at the Mapleleaf Residential, along with us. I mean... Not together, but in the same residential. We were neighbors. Then Jim got a job at the DEA and moved.
"Heck I did. I was there until just now! It's chaos, as you'd expect. Do you believe it? They're trying to pass the case on to the SAD."
"What!? How!?"
"You see... Oh the connection is sucking bad... I'll meet you in front of the Maple. We'll go to Meadow."
"The park!?"
"Hello...?"
The call dropped.
I think she meant we were going to the scene. I took the first bus to Mapleleaf. This time I didn't miss the bus, which meant that the good energies were coming back to illuminate my life.
You know... As a Libran I'm a lucky person. The energies of luck light up the lives of Librans. Well... That morning was an exception.
Arriving in the hallway of my apartment, Beth was outside, and all agitated. The hallway was narrow and high. Its color was like you'd expect from a place called Mapleleaf. Its entire interior seemed to have been recently painted and decorated in shades ranging from brown to red. Although the apartments there were well decorated, they were not exactly large.
"Meg! Meg!" Beth ran in short steps towards me, "how are you?"
Beth gave me a long hug. 
"I'm fine... As far as possible."
"Everything's so horrible, isn't it? Oh, Meg..."
Beth was clearly disturbed with the whole situation. I didn't even dare tell her the first thing I did that morning was go see Jim's body... And I had no reason to. No one asked me to recognize the body, no one I knew was there. I was just a curious one among many. After I heard that call I hung up without realizing it and just wandered off in search of his dead body. I just went, saw and came back. That must be why the negative energies came.
"Listen..." I said as I slowly released her, "what did you say on the phone about the SAD taking over?"
"Come in..." She invited me, pointing to the door of her apartment, which was right next to mine, "I'll tell ya."
Beth's apartment's main room was the sweetest thing. All clean and shiny, and the couch had those pillows of bugs that were categorically arranged next to each other. Unlike my apartment, which was a mess. Where did she find the time to leave it all ordered like that?
I sat on the sofa.
"Wanna drink any?"
"Water, please."
"Since it was a murder I figured the homicide department would end up taking the case... Which would be nice. Hank works there. He wouldn't hesitate to let us help. But he wouldn't. The case is special."
 Beth handed me the cup of water.
"What do you mean 'special?' "
"It has to do with the way Jim... You know... The way it happened... Do you remember that news from last week? That accountant?"
" Gerald McMiller?"
"Yeah! That one."
"Wow... I hadn't noticed! I hadn't even connected the suits... He died just the same way, right? I mean..."
Beth got grestfallen. It was hard to comment on Jim's death like that, you know... in a casual way... It was still stuck in our throats. And mind you she hadn't even seen him yet.
I certainly didn't wanna get back there. But I also didn't wanna tell her I was a fool and went out half past six in the morning to see the body by myself.
"But you mean there's a serial killer on the loose? What do you know about these crimes? What does the SAD know?"
"That's what I want to find out! We're talking about Jim! He's part of the team. I'm not just gonna watch. I wanna know exactly what's going on. They can't just transfer the case this way, claiming it's a special case. Who do they think they are? THE FBI?"
But unfortunately the SAD was that way. I know it because I've been in charge of cases that were considered 'special' in the paper. They simply refuse to give any relevant information to journalists. Even if it is the Inquirer.
They had an office there in Sproustown. Near the center. Near Meadow Park. One could walk there. I was even thinking of stopping by after I went with Beth to see Jim... Even if I already had an idea of what was gonna happen if I went...

Zombies, vampires and werewolves. Morbid creatures of all kinds are focusing on the city of Sproustown and posing as ordinary citizens.
Henry Dotson is a lieutenant in the police special affairs division charged with investigating occurrences related to these creatures. The hologram globe in front of me lost its bright glow as it started decelerating its spin.


[The Psychic Amplifier Prototype is set to be activated after one year Lothar told the information to you. He knew he could trust you with such information for the shallow reason that Kirina's heart told him to do so. Did you find it odd and weird that an enemy is giving such vital information? Didn't you find it suspicious that Lothar is trusting you a bit much?]


"No." I exhaled my breath. "He knew he has his reasons too. And he's only the intel I had that concerns Elysia. If it weren't for him, I would be left in the dark while Cheng, Trystgade, and Eldritch do their evil plans. What other choice do I have but to trust his words?" I laughed.


[You also discovered Cheng's plan to breed Serena and replicate her powers. You knew that they were coming for her, one way or another. You knew that Serena is being threatened. Yet you kept it a secret from her. Why did you hide it? Do you not trust her?]


"No, you're wrong!" I cried. "I don't want her to worry, and I want her to live her life free of problems. I trust her more than anything in this world, even more than myself. She's the only one I got, so I have to protect her happiness at all cost."


[Protect her happiness? What did you do to protect her happiness? How did you protect her happiness?]


"Six months." I exhaled white smoke from my mouth. "I trained for six months to be stronger. I made the resolve to challenge our first Pentagram Knight six months after the Operation Arcadia Annihilation. With the Psychic Amplifier Prototype and the imminent threat to Serena's life on hand, I put my focus on mastering my magic and the synchronization of our heartbeats. We need to become stronger so that we can defeat whatever threat that comes before us."


There was a long pause. It seems that the interrogator is doing something behind, and I don't know what it is. He just continued speaking after ten seconds.


[Let's go to the time where you challenged the First Pentagram Knight. Who is he?] 


"Gerald Lucielo." I laughed weakly. "He's the first Pentagram Knight I challenged. Considering that he's one of the strongest dragon knights in Alterra, he put me to an edge."

2 YEARS AGO


It's a bright and sunny morning. Normally, I would still be sleeping on the floor or on the sofa on Saturdays six months ago, but now I'm all up and early, ready to go out. I have brushed my teeth and took a bath, and the only thing to do now is to get on my combat apparel.


Meanwhile, my trusted dragonoid Serena can be seen relaxing her stomach on the bed, her chin resting on her hands. She's still on her sleeping shirt and pajama shorts, and all she's doing is watching me. There's even an innocent child-like smile on her face, and her crimson eyes are sparkling. She also had her angel-like wings and white-and-blue tail materialized, and she's wagging that tail like an excited puppy.


"What's with that smug?" I coldly glared at my dragonoid.


"Nothing~" Serena chuckled. "It's just that, you've changed for the past six months. You no longer drink overnight or lay lazily on the sofa until it gets noon. It's like you're a different person, an ideal Senpai for me~"


Well, I have an explanation for that. Six months ago, I received intel from Lothar that Cheng and Eldritch are planning to kidnap Serena away from me and use her as a baby maker for their ancient dragonoid army. I can't just sit around and drink as I wait for that to happen. I need to become stronger so that I can protect the only person I got in this world. And to do that, I shall defeat all the Pentagram Knights and acquire my own army.


"That's where you're wrong, Serena." I made a counter-smug. "I'll drink overnight later right after we defeat our First Pentagram Knight as a celebration. So get your ass suited up and prepare for our battle!"


"Fine, fine." Serena made a cute laugh. "But before that, I need to ask a favor from my Senpai-knight first."


Serena pressed her face forward until I can sense her warm breathing on my cheeks. Her kitty-like wide irises make me want to pat her head a thousand times more. Damn, she's so adorable. I can't help but blush.


"W-What favor?" I asked even though I already know the answer. "Y-You mean 'that' again?"


"Yeah! That!" Serena excitedly pumped her fists while giving a bright red blush on her cheeks. "Our early morning won't start until you do 'that' with me!"


"B-But…" I scratched my head while I look away from her hypnotizing eyes. If I stay exposed to her glittering red irises, I'll be sure to be her psychic slave.


"It has to be you, Senpai." Serena started to pout, and it made her pinkish face a lot more adorable. Then she started to pray as if I'm some kind of god. "Pleeeeasseeee…"


"Fine! Fine!" I cried out loud.


Then I immediately stood up, closed the windows, curtains, and made sure that the door is locked. Now that everything is set up, nobody would be able to see us. Unfortunately, the room isn't exactly soundproof, and if you are out in the living room of our apartment, you would hear these noises every morning whenever I do 'that' thing to Serena.


"Ah!... Not so hard... Senpai… Please be gentler…"


"I-I'm sorry, Serena… It's tight."


"Ooh… that hurts!... But you're getting better, Senpai…"


"Serena… please stop making weird noises."


Unfortunately, it's not what everybody thinks what it is. Every freaking morning, I'm in charge of tying Serena's braid around the back of her hair and put a red ribbon on it. She can't do it by herself, so she always asks me to do this thing nowadays. I had to close the windows and doors so that nobody could see me fixing a girl's hair. It's so damn embarrassing if anybody discovers.


"Serena, next time learn to do it yourself." I coldly said. "If Kevin or Alphonse saw this, they'll accuse me of being gay."


"Absolutely not!" Serena angrily pouted like a pufferfish. "You can do it the best, Senpai! Not even my hairdresser can make a braid and ribbon look this good!"


I just uttered a tired sigh. I may just have to accept how dishonored my name will be if ever anybody discovers that I have a talent for being a hairdresser.


After that, Serena immediately prepared herself to wear her usual battle kimono. Like all other teenage girls, she took about one fucking hour to be fully suited up. She even had her make-up and lipstick on, and she even used her expensive perfume just to smell good. We've heard that challenging a Pentagram Knight is both a test and a ceremony where everybody is free to watch whoever is challenging one of the most powerful dragon knights in Alterra, so Serena spends so much effort to look good. There might be hordes of fans that are ought to watch her later, and it would be good publicity for her celebrity career.


On normal occasions, dragon knights only challenge Pentagram Knights to advance through the next rank. Defeating a Pentagram Knight is similar to accomplishing an S-rank mission that is enough to promote a fourth-class dragon knight to third-class. The promotion level requirements increases as a dragon knight's rank increases, so challenging a Pentagram Knight for promotion in my instance is unnecessary. Since I'm now a second-class dragon knight, it would take about four Pentagram Knight challenges for me to be a first-class.


Of course, I only challenge the Pentagram Knights not for honor or promotion, but for the private army. Emperor Sirius Elkyria promised me that I can borrow his infantry once I get the approval of the Five Pentagram Knights.


Serena and I finally made it to the arena inside the Dragon Knight's Academy. Since it's Saturday morning, there are only a handful of people here. There are about eight of the girl audiences who are holding the banner "SERENATICS" which I suppose, those die-hard fans of my beautiful dragonoid. There are also some media men ready to record the fight that is about to happen.


There's no sign of Sir Valesmith, Sir, Faradeiss, or Lady Keine in here. That's good enough for me because I get pressured a lot or even distracted if my friends are watching my big fight.


But even though none of the audiences are my friends, the pressure won't go off. There is one person who is putting this much intimidating influence at me, and he's sitting at the very front of the audience's seat. He's a middle-aged man with beard and mane as majestic as those of a lion. He is the Emperor himself, Sirius Elkyria.


"Good morning, Sir Wingate." The Emperor smiled.


"Your majesty." Serena and I bowed on his presence.


"I knew you will avail the promise I gave to you." The Emperor held her hands together. "Now this is your time to prove me your strength."


Suddenly, at the center of the dusty arena, the ground opened. A platform was raised, revealing the appearance of the First Pentagram Knight I will be challenging. When Serena and I raised our heads, we were astounded by the presence of a glorious dragon knight and a powerful dragonoid.

Long ago, the humans triumphed over the dragons, sealing them into human mortal bodies now known as dragonoids. The dragonoids became enslaved by the humans and use them as military weapons by the power of the Vesryn Pulse. With this newfound magic, mankind divided its empire to four and wages war against themselves for their own selfish ambitions.


A set of dire events occurred, pushing a single man to the limits of his sense of justice. "Done." Nisa close the suitcases then pick up the wash bin and leave it in the corner of the room and ask "Do you want to wash first or i'll wash first?"

"You wash first dear, i'm still a bit lazy right now"

Dina smile at his wife and reply with soft voice "it's alright i'll just take a shower it's quicker then go out and eat togather, i don't want you to wait for a long time, i'm afraid that you'll be hungry."

Nisa nod and go to open the dresser then enter the bathroom.

Dina follow his wife movement until she's gone into the bathroom before flip his body and lay flat on the bed again, this time the red lips reveal a light smile like someone in paradise.

He should train his heart to stop think about his wife past now..because from the start that they know each other, he keep having this feeling that she's totally different from what he thought.

He thought he'll meet a girl who's spoil, know nothing at all, but instead he meet a girl who's professional at work and is efficient in many field, her work pace is fast too, she can do many things like how to make the tent when they camp. Even if the hands are not so professional at that, it is enough to show that she could do housework, she help him with the tent and arrange their sleeping area well, she didn't cry or act spoil at all during their honeymoon, she can catch up to him without problem during their walk when she see lizards or insects she just quietly said "ow" not shout or scream like others.

The sleeping arrangements she did well, but the eating habits is also without fault, from the first time he get to know her until now (6 month+) he know that she eat everything from Khmer, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, French, Italian,..cuisine, she could eat all. At first he thought she's easy going but he didn't think that she'd be this easy to feed.

Even if he never really think of what he want from his perfect wife, he believe that this person that he got can be count as a success that is definitely above his expectation.

2 month after marriage, she still have things to surprise him every time. Just like when they just get to know each other. The most surprising thing that is way above his expectation is her daily duty, in the morning she donate food and drinks/sometime money to monks before she goes to work, at night after showering she'll be meditating in front of Buddha statues.

In the evening, she's also the one who cook or reheat the food that her family chief let Da bring everyday and if he didn't sternly tell her she might also wash the dishes and do every little housework instead of leaving them for Da to clean up in the morning like she's doing now.

Joseph Jones (Joey) was a 18 years old, black hair ,red eyes ,1.79 m height 72 kg was a high school student and an inventor but on top of that he was a weeb trying to make a machine that will transport him to another world 

During lunch break at his high school 

Zack:Hey Joey what are you doing after school?If you aren't doing anything do you want to come with me and Nick to football practice? 

Joey:Nope I can't come I need to work 

Zack:Oh cmon are you again working ? Why don't you just call in sick or whatever and for once come have fun with us ! Because when you are not working you are watching that cartoons all day long 

Joey:1.No can't do I can't leave my work 2. It's not cartoons it's anime 

Zack:You know you will be forever alone if u keep up like this 

Joey: You say that like is a bad thing 

Zack:Okay Joey see you later !

Joey:Bye !

Few hours have gone by and finally Joey got home 

Joey:I'm home 

????:Welcome home honey 

Joey:Thanks mom 

Joey's mom: How was school ?

Joey: Okay 

Joey's mom:Are you hungry?

Joey:Yeah

Joey's mom:We got some spaghetti from last night in the refrigerator 

Joey:Thanks mom!

Joey takes a plate with spaghetti from the refrigerator ,after he eats he got dressed for work and leaves,he was working at a GSM store 

After he got off work he starts going home ,once he got home and walked a few minutes around an empty house decided to got to his home-made laboratory that was in his basement 

Joey:Sorry to keep you waiting 

Says Joey after he entered the basement while looking at a strange machine connected to a chair, with a helmet with wires attached to it ,and in the back of the room was a computer cluster with a few computers in it and near the chair was a desk with a computer on it 

Note:he has a computer cluster because the machine that he build was working with multiples programs and a single computer couldn't run all of them 

Joey walked to the desk and sat down,and spend like 2 to 3 hours programing 

Joey: Ah finally! After 1 year of programming and building it's ready for the first experiment!But first I will grab something to drink 

Joey walked to the refrigerator got a bottle of cola and came back down again 

Joey:Well it's time to test this beauty 

Joey being tired after programming 2-3 hours 
he tripped and spilled his cola on the server that was programmed to bring him back in an hour 

Joey: Oh god! I hope it isn't broken 

Joey rushed to the computer to make a simulation and see if everything was working fine 

Joey:Ok tomorrow is saturday and I don't have school or work  first thing in the morning I will test the machine 

The night has passed Joey rushed down stairs from where his room was to take the breakfast 

Joey's mom: Morning honey !

Joey:Good morning mom !

Joey eats the breakfast fast and started walking to the laboratory 

Joys's mom:Joey are you going to work again at that thing of yours ? 

Joey:No mom I finished 

Joey's mom: Oh good then , and what it's it ?

Joey:Sorry mom I will tell you after I confirm that it's working 

Joey's mom:Oh okay then,and good luck !

Joey:Thank mom 

And then Joey started walking to the basement again , when he arrived he started preparing the machine to work and he dressed himself in a green military outfit ,after 1 hour of preparation he finished 

Joey:Ah it's finally ready 

And then he sits down in the chair put the helmet on and started the machine,then he woke up it what it seems to be a forest 

Joey: Ah yes it's working ,it's working !!

Joey started to walking in to the forest,everything thing was fine until he meets his first animal in this world 

And then a creature that looks like a wolf was started approaching him

"Hmmmm ... do you know why there are no teachers who teach ancient techniques in the academy?" Mr Rovel asked Javar, Ajie, and Izan.

Silent. The atmosphere became silent. The more they asked, the more they didn't know the answer.

Finally they gave up and shook their heads.

"Ahhh . . . Child this day. They had given up before trying to answer," Mr Rovel sighed.

"Do you really want to learn ancient techniques?" Rovel asked blurted out.

 "Yes," Javar, Ajie, and Izan answered in unison.

"If you learn ancient techniques, you cannot learn the power of gods. Are you sure?" Mr. Rovel asked again.

"Yes," Javar, Ajie, and Izan answered without hesitation.

If they still had the power of gods, they will hesitating to learn this ancient technique. However, at this time they didn't have the power of gods. They were very weak compared to other students. They needed strength to be strong. That's what made them sure to answer "yes" to the questions asked by Mr. Rovel.

Seeing the confidence of the three boys in front of him, Rovel smiled and nodded his head. Only this time I found students who dare to take risks like this. It seems like tomorrow is my first day I will teach at the academy.

Rovel had been a teacher for three years at the academy. However, none of the students wanted to learn ancient techniques. But that did not make Rovel discouraged. He continued to practice ancient techniques alone through the books he read in the library.

"All right, from now on you will be my students," Rovel said to Javar, Ajie, and Izan.

The words from Mr. Rovel made their eyes shine. The smile that had been merely a fake smile, became a happy smile.

Finally we can learn ancient techniques. Thought the three of them.

"Hmmm ... it seem I have forgotten something. But never minds. Tomorrow morning when the sun has risen, you come to the field in front of the fighting class. Remember, don't be late. I really don't like late students!" Rovel said with a serious face to Javar, Ajie, and Izan.

"Yes, sir!" Javar, Ajie, and Izan answered  simultaneously.

"Now you go. I will continue reading this book." Rovel showed the book he holds to Javar, Ajie, and Izan.

Javar, Ajie, and Izan rose from their seats and bend their bodies towards Rovel. After that, they turned around and went out of the library.

Hmmm . . . good children. I hope they have the talent and willingness to practice ancient techniques. Rovel smiled broadly.

When Javar, Ajie, and Izan already outside the library, they finally felt something strange.

"Hey hey ... do you guys feel anything strange?" Ajie asked his two friends while furrowing his brows.

Izan just nodded his head.

Javar held his chin as he says, "I think so too. It seems like something is missing."

The three of them thought for a moment. Finally, Javar found what missing in the incident.

"Ahh ... I know, I know," Javar lifted his index finger.

"What do you know?" Ajie tilted his head.

"Mr. Rovel forgot to tell us his interesting story," Javar said.

"Ohhh," Ajie gaped his jaw.

"Looks like it's really our fault to talked with him. I'm sure Mr Rovel's brain isn't in his head." Ajie furrowed his eyebrows and clenched his hands in front of his chest.

"Hey watch your speech. It's dangerous if your words had heard by Mr Rovel's ears," Javar said.

Ajie closed his mouth with both hands while nodding his head.

"Alright, we better relax for today. Looks like tomorrow we will training hard." Javar sighed of relief.

Ajie and Izan nodded their heads. Then they went around the academy and did whatever can waste their time.

Now was the first day of Ajie, Javar and Izan training. The three of them had been at the field front of fighting class. However, Mr. Rovel hadn't arrived yet. It's had been an hour since they waited for Mr Rovel.

Tap tap.

Ajie crossed his arms then tapped his right hand's finger on his left hand. His eyebrows frowned. He gritted his teeth . He can't waited longer.

"Hey guys. Are you guys thinking the same thing as me?" Ajie said.

Javar and Izan both tilted their heads at Ajie's question.

"Hmmm ... what?" Javar said.

"That's it," Ajie said.

Javar and Izan both did not understand what Ajie said.

"Hey can you be a little clearer?" Ajie's brow furrowed

"Arrgghhh." Ajie pulled his cheeks using his fingers.

"Damn. I'm sure we will be forgotten again by him," Ajie clenched his fists and putting them in front of his chest.

"Hey, be patient. Remember, we are students of Mr. Rovel. We should respect him a little even though he is a little difficult to understand." Javar patted Ajie's shoulder.

"How can I be patient. From yesterday I have held my patience." Ajie pointed his index finger to the sun, "didn't you see? The sun is getting higher, I'm sure he must have forgotten." 

"Just believe in him, okay okay?" said Javar to persuade Ajie by trying to show his cute face.

"Huh? What ugly face are you showing to me?" said Ajie while seeing Javar face.

"Who did you say was ugly?" Javar pulled the top of the Ajie's shirt.

"Ah no no, I'm just talking to someone who has a brain in his knee." Ajie rolled his eyes.

"Oi insolent brat! Let me bury you into the ground" Javar stepped on the ground.

"Who is insolent brat! Come here if you dare, let me punch your contemptible face," said Ajie.

Even though they say that, but none of them move from their place. They only argued like other children.

While they were fighting, Mr. Rovel suddenly came with a big bag. He came with broad smile on his face.

"Good morning children," said Mr. Rovel.

Hah?

Javar, Izan and Ajie were surprised to see Mr Rovel's sudden arrival.

"Well, we will start training using ancient techniques," said Mr. Rovel without paying attention to what Javar, Ajie and Izan were doing.

"Wait wait wait. Didn't you tell us to come after sunrise?" Ajie asked.

"Yes I said that. Isn't the sun has risen??" Mr Rovel pointed his index finger to the sun.

After recalling what Mr Rovel said, they came in the morning when the sun had risen. It's morning and the sun had risen. Indeed, what Mr Rovel said was not wrong. But that made it ambiguous to those who listen.

"Never mind. You don't need to think too much. I will forgive you for your ignoranc." Mr. Rovel, waved his right hand.

Ajie pulled a long face. Wait a minute. Looks like this situation is reversed. Shouldn't we say something like that? Is this teacher really insensitive to his surroundings?

Javar and Izan just silenced seeing Mr. Rovel's behavior. They should be more tolerant of Mr. Rovel's behavior from now on.

"All right, let's put aside the unimportant things first. Now I'll train you. You all use this." Mr. Rovel pulled out something from the large bag he was carrying.

The objects he took out were a few bracelets and three chainmail. The objects were gray without a single pattern.

"This is a tool to train your body."

Mr. Rovel took a bracelet and said, "This is a bracelet that will be placed on your hands and feet. You cannot take it off unless you go to the toilet and sleep. Same with this chainmail."

Then, Mr. Rovel gave each of them 4 bracelets and 1 chainmail. He placed that in front of them.

"Now ... try to wear the bracelet on your hands and feet."

Hearing Mr. Rovel's words, they immediately took one of the bracelets in front of them.

What they felt for the first time was heavy. Yes, it was very heavy. Even with their two hands, they had difficulty lifting one bracelet.

"Ahh ... I forgot to say something. I think you will have difficulty lifting that thing. However, you should be able to use it wherever you are," Mr. Rovel smiled.

Ajie's Jaw gaped. He's not kidding right? This heavy object is used everyday? Will our body be alright?

Izan only did what Mr Rovel told him to do without thinking about anything.

The sound of iron colliding with iron was heard clearly.

Izan dropped one of the bracelets that he lifted. His hands could not held the weight.

"Ahhh" Izan only opened his mouth briefly before he closed it again.

Seeing the incident, Mr. Rovel furrowed his eyebrows and held his chin with his right hand.
"Hmmm ... it looks like that thing doesn't suit you. All right, I'll give you something better," said Mr. Rovel.

Mr. Rovel took out the same thing as before. But this time the objects color were brown.

"All of you, try using this thing." Mr Rovel placed the bracelet and chainmail in front of Javar, Ajie, and Izan.

Is thing the same weight as the previous bracelets? Or is this lighter? Thought the three of them.

When they tried to lifted that thing, the questions they were thinking about was wrong. The items they were trying to lift was heavier than the previous object. They can't even lifted it off the ground.

Javar had never experienced a situation like this before. Is Mr. Rovel crazy? With a gray bracelet, we could not lift it. Now he gives us a bracelet that is heavier than before.

"How? Interesting isn't it? If you don't like the gray one because it's too light, you don't have to throw it away. You know, you definitely want something heavier right?" Mr. Rovel, smiled broadly and nodded his head.

Ajie dumbfounded hearing Mr Rovel words. Damn He is really stupid. I'm sure his brain is on his knee!

Javar tears fell out. Gosh! what ordeal again is this?

Humans, monsters, gods. I don't care about all that.

All I want is an egg. Yes an egg.

An egg I don't know its origin. But I'm sure these egg is legendary monster egg.

Who is not curious to see an egg that you don't know about?

I'm sure everyone will be greedy if they see these egg.

They will not hesitate to take these egg.
