{Fort Alnus}

After being stuck upon that hill for over a month, the Coalition was now in a position to conduct recon missions across the country side.

By now, Alnus was 70% completed with an working air field and housing almost 75,000 Armed personnel. Watch Tower was now fully operational with the walls now reinforced with rebar and concrete, while a single concrete tower in the centre of the fortification was nearing completion. A number of combat jets had been trucked in and were currently in the process of being reassembled, while over two dozen helicopters of various types were ready and sitting on the freshly paved tarmac.

For days, American and Russian Drones had been busy flying over the country side and mapping the area. But there was only so much information they could collect by themselves. Images were good, but nothing could beat actual eyes on the ground. As such, 20 recon teams representing almost all of the coalition's members would be sent out with the goal of surveying the terrain, as well as gathering any and all information from local towns about possible slave caravans that may have passed through the region with persons taken from Ginza.

But while most of the recon teams would represent each nation, the Japanese would not be so fortunate. Unlike most of the member nations, the Japanese Ground Self Defence Forces really had no experience in conducting long ranged scouting missions. Let alone ones in an completely different world. As a result, the Japanese recon teams would also consist of a "veteran" unit from one of the allied countries. Or at least that was what Itami was told, anyway.

"You have already been given command of 20-men platoons. Your mission is to make contact with the locals and learn about them, about their language and culture, economy and everything you can. I suggest you follow these routes as we have noticed several settlements along the roads. You must keep in touch with the base by reporting in every four hours. Our UAVs noticed nothing spectacular. The enemy army is retreating and they are already two days away from here, they split up. Our guess is that they retreat and regroup. Avoid contact with the enemy as best you can. If there are no questions you are free to go."

Itami sighed at the thought he has to get up and do his job. The chair was so comfortable for his lazy legs. He slowly stood up and left the briefing room. In less than an hour he was ready to go. Third Recon Team a.k.a Recon Team Three (RCT3) was ready to depart on the main road with the other recon units.

As the Lieutenant made his way to the assembly area to met his recon team. Just the day before, the Otaku and hero of Ginza was informed that he would be leading a recon team into Falmart. From the maps the Coalition was able to acquire, there were several villages and major towns that could prove to be valuable sources of information. Itami's mission was to attempt to make contact with the locals and gather what they could from them. To say Itami was less then thrilled to be in command of such a team would be quite correct, but despite his protest, the hero of Ginza reluctantly accepted his command. At least he would be in good company, as Itami soon realised just who had been assigned to his team.

"Fall in! Third Recon Team ready to go, sir!" Sergeant Major Kuwahara said with a salute, as the multi-national force snapped to attention.

Itami for his part, was still rather nervous about being in command, but the young lieutenant just smiled and replied, "Uh... thanks for falling in or whatever. Nice to meet ya! All right folks, time to get cracking."

Itami noticed his platoon consisted of some old faces including Kurata and Tomita from his base and also ones of the female member in his platoon.

"I am Lt. Itami, your team leader. " Itami said " Like I have introduced myself, I would like to know all your names so we can know each other better, right. So lets us begin from the left "

" All right let get cracking folks, " Itami said

"I can't believe this is the dip shit they are giving us." Shino said to herself, felling less than happy about being placed under the Otaku's command.

"Oh boy..." Franklin muttered to himself, as he stood with the rest of the ACV's crew "I know the Japanese were green but damn... I can't see any pattarns on them, all just green."

"Nice to see you will be joining us, 2nd Lieutenant, Oracle, and the Lance Corporals!" Itami said with a smile, as he saw the British Commandos and Sus Bellum 6 with its crew standing with the rest of the Japanese contingent.

"That's Corporals now, sir." Theo replied. "We all got promoted just this morning after the team and I were assigned to your group."

"Well, congratulations!" Itami said, genuinely happy to have the Royal Marine Commando along for this mission.

"Ha, Your dam right." Thapa interrupted.

'At least we will have real soldiers with us!' Shino thought with a smile, just as Recon Team Three mounted their vehicles. 'At least we will have actual experts to rely on, not this baka!'

It took a few minutes before Third Recon and the other teams made their way out of the fort and down the only "road" that lead away from Alnus. But once the convoy passed Watch Tower, the teams wen their separate ways for a mission that was not supposed to last more than a week.

"So what you think we're gonna find out here?" Kurata asked over the radio, in an attempt to break the silence.

"Still hoping to see cat girls, man?" Theo jokingly replied over the com system. "Remember what I told you about their possible physical features."

"Nah, I mean what you think we gonna encounter out here?" the young Otaku explained

"Who knows." Itami replied, as he took out one of the maps that had been given to him. "According to this, there is a small village about twenty miles from here."

"A good place to start, I guess." Kuwahara commented from his vehicle. "We may want to take this slow and not startle the locals."

"They may not react well to strangers after all." Tej added on.

"You've got a point Oracle" Itami replied, just as the group passed a series of stone structures on top of a hill.

Within 20 minutes, the group was approaching the location of the aforementioned village. Just as planned, Sus Bellum 6 pealed off and parked just off the road, while the rest of Recon 3 made their way to Coda.

At coda

"Sir, I see the first village marked on our map. Right among those trees."

"Good spotting Kurata. Take us there."

"The landscape reminds me of the midlands". Tej stated in his radio comm.

"Not very different from Japan either. Oracle, make sure you don't scare anyone with those dead faces on your masks. But your face ain't any better...oh well." Itami was teasing the British-Nepali Sergeant.

"Ouh Shut up, you cheeky ole' snail! At least my eyes is not as squinty as yours! We almost there anyways."

They arrived at the gate. Itami's Humvee made a stop right in front. The column came to a halt as some disembarked the vehicles and headed into town. Itami and Kurokawa were the first to go past the small wooden wall as the others were at the cars. They noticed people tending their daily chores and kids playing in the centre. The villagers noticed them quickly because of the tank's engine sound that notified them of their arrival.

"Who are these people? Are these two together? What's with the clothes, are they wearing a uniform?" were few of the questions the villagers were asking in their native language. Kurokawa waved at them and smiled. Itami came forward, he stopped near a woman washing some clothes.

"Hello. I Itami. I bring peace. I soldier, need information."

"Speak to the elder then." She spoke as she pointed him to the village centre. There, sitting on a bench, was a man in his late fifties, following the strangers with a questioning eye. When he was approached he raised and took his hat off.

"Hello. Me Itami. She Kurokawa."

"Such a lovely couple. Welcome to Coda! What can we help you with?"

Their cheeks turned red for a few moments. "No no no! We are not married. We are friends. May we sit down and talk?"

"Of course! Have a seat on the bench. Who are you, people? I have never before seen such a uniform. I take it you are a soldier."

"Yes, we both are. Me and my friends outside."

"Hm? Your friends?"

The meeting with the people with Coda village went rather smoothly, though the team was unable to gain any information about possible slave caravans. As it turned out, Coda village was not a major stop for any merchants or trade caravans of any kind and the people didn't seem to mind. They did however informed the team that there were a few other towns that may be more helpful. After thanking the village elder for his assistance, Third recon regrouped and proceeded to continue on with there mission.

"Man, it's nice out here!" Itami said happily, as he sat in the passenger seat of his Truck. "Just as I hoped it would be!"

"Oh come on!" Kurata shot back, "We got beautiful scenery back home. I mean for me, I was hoping to see a friggin dragon flying around. Maybe a fairy or two. I mean just look at the towns we've been to, just nothing but humans all over the place."

"You know, I would not be complaining about that." the Franklin replied over the radio. "Next thing you know, we run into a dragon the size of a S-class Wyvern or something!"

"I think he still wants to see a cat girl." Tomita replied with a grin.

"Oh yea, you got that Cat Girl thing!" Itami replied.

"A Cat Girl, or a hot little witch!" The younger Otaku answered back. "I could go for one of those. By the way, what's your personal preference, sir?"

"Well uh... magic girls are pretty cool." 

"Oh my god..." Shino groaned out. "Don't tell me they gonna have this conversation now?"

"Little miss Banzi got a point." Thapa added, "Are you degenerate are just going to talk about that?"

Sure enough, the Radio was soon filled with Kurata and Itami singing the theme song for their favourite anime. Much to the dismay of the other Soldiers and Marines. Out of pure desperation, Shino grabbed her radio and asked, "Sus Bellum 6, you think you can silence those two for us?"

There was a moment of silence before music began to play and a man began to sing...

As the lyrics of AC/DC legendary track played on, Shino and a few others in the Japanese contingent were rather curious about their Webïrúian counterparts and with no end to Itami's and Kurata's singing in sight, The CQC expert decided to break the ice and ask one Marine in particular...

"2nd Lieutenant Franklin, you mind if I ask you a question?" Shino asked over the radio.

"Sure, go ahead." came the response.

"Why did you decide to become a Mage?" the young woman asked, genuinely curious about the Marine's life choice.

"Yea. I am curious about that myself." Tomita added on. "Marine and Mage?"

"Well, I guess I wanted to be like my dad." Jacob replied. "He was a Mage in Webïrúia institution of magic when he met my mom and after I cam along, he joined up County Harraton Militia when we moved to Sõw. I guess it's in my blood and I thought it would be kinda cool using power that could help people!"

"That's why you became a Mage?" Kurokawa asked. Some what rather impressed.

"Well that, and helping people you know." the Marine replied. "I always had that urge to help others if they are in distress."

"It's true." Quebec added on. "You ask any Mage with County Harraton and they will tell you the same thing. Yet, we never expect anything in return."

Shino remained silent and allowed the Marine's words to sink in. The young Sergeant had to admit she was rather impressed with Franklin's reasons for wanting to be a Mage and in some ways, he had achieved his goal. Impressed could not even begin to describe just how the young Sergeant felt right now, she also felt a bit... fuzzy.

"Oh..." Shino replied. "Well then, can I ask you another question?"

"Alright, what is it?"

"Why do you call you Quebec, "Becky"?" the radio then suddenly cut out.

A few more hours passed as the sun had long since started to disappear over the horizon. With night time fast approaching and not wanting to continue on in mostly uncharted territory after dark, it was decided that they would set up camp for the night. But as they approached the forest, the radio crackled to life...

"Head's up, we got smoke!" Kabul's voice announced. Sure enough the Japanese saw the massive column of smoke coming from behind a hill. "I think we have a possible forest fire on our hands."

"Let's investigate this." Itami replied, as the small convoy rolled forward. Just as Kabul suggested, Third Recon came upon a massive forest fire raging in the forest beyond the hill. From their location on top of said hill, the team could only look in awe at the sight.

"Oh, that's a big fire alright!" Franklin proclaimed, as he and the rest of Recon 3 looked on the the fire. "I don't think all the Water Mage units in County Harraton would be able to put that thing out."

"What the hell could have caused it?"

"I think you need to see this for your self, sir." Kuwahara replied, as he handed his binocular to his commanding officer. Curious, Itami took them and what he saw left his speechless...

"That... is a fucking big dragon..." Thapa said with a joyful expression forming on his face. As he and the rest of the team watched the enraged beast breath fire on the forest below.

"That thing is like King Giddra, but with one neck!" Kuwahara commented

"Man, you are really old school!" Jacky replied.

"Lieutenant!" Shino approached her leader. "What would you like us to do, sir?" There was silence, Itami could only witness the might of the dragon breathing out fire to the forest

"Sergeant Kuribayashi, do you think you can hold my hand for me?" Tej joked, " I'm kinda scared right now."

"fuck off!"

"Guys, I really hope that thing doesn't head this way." Theo stated. "Cause if it does, we pretty much screwed. I dont think my MGL or my Javelin could take that big girl down!"

"So Kurata, finally happy you got to see a dragon?" Jacob asked the JSDF soldier. But there was no reply, the young man was still watching the beast.

Eventually, the massive Dragon few off with a roar and away from the forest, leaving behind a raging inferno in its wake. But there was one question that needed to be answered.

"Why would a dragon just burn down an entire forest just so?" Itami asked out loud. "It doesn't make sense."

"Maybe it's marking it's territory?" Quebec replied. "Like how a dog pisses to mark it's territory?"

"Didn't the last village say their was a settlement in that forest?" Kurokawa asked out load. Almost immediately everyone there felt a sinking feeling in their stomach.

"Oh shit..."  Jiraiya gasped out, as he realised just what had taken place.

"Mount up, we're moving out!" the Sergeant Major ordered, but the reply that came surprised everyone there.

"That... is not advisable." Franklin replied warily. "If we go in there now, those flames will engulf us before we have time to react. It'll be a suicide mission!"

"He's right." Quebec added on. " We've seen our fair share of forest fire's in Harraton and we know just for fast a fire can move."

"I hate to say it, but... there is nothing we can do for that settlement right now." Jacob said with a defeat tone. "We're just just gonna have to wait it out for now. Or at the very least, see just which direction the fire will go."

The Japanese just stood there in silence and mulled on what the two men had told them. As much as they wanted to help what ever settlement that was inside the forest, they had to listen to the two fire fighters in their unit and to be fair, their logic was sound.

"They're right." Itami responded. "We just can't charge into a massive forest fire blindly."

"So what do we do?" the CQC specialist asked, not sure just what would happen next. Itami just sighed heavily as he replied. "Stand down. We will wait until the situation as improved before we move in."

It was not a popular decision, but an understandable one. All Recon Team 3 could do right now was sit on that hill and wait until the fire had died would come next would be the longest night of their lives...

{Special Region, Rose Order of Knights camp}

Pina, Norma, Hamilton and Grey made a small camp at the cover of a large rock and a bunch of trees and bushes to hide them from unwary eyes.

"Princess! Bozes' group is here. They are coming this way." Norma was on watch duty and reported to Pina.

"Ah, about time. Signal her we are here." she responded.

Norma picked a torch, came forth from the bushes and trees and waved it above his head for a few times to make sure Bozes noticed him. They entered the camp.

"Tend to the horses, men. Then join us for dinner." Bozes commanded her two knights.

"Miss Bozes, you are not going to be loved by your men if you want to command one day." Grey commented on her attitude only to find two eyes throw him a poisonous look.

"Sit down, Bozes. What did you find?"

Bozes avoided eye contact with her commander princess while she spoke. "I don't know what I've uncovered milady. I thought that I was ready for war but what I saw made me realise I am not. I found what was left of the heavy cavalry of Alguna."

Grey smiled. "There is no shame in admitting the truth, lady Bozes. Nobody is ready for war. You just grow accustomed to it. Tell us what you have seen."

"The ground was riddled with holes and in those holes were dead cavalrymen. Their bodies torn apart as if a blood thirsty monster was drunk with rage on them. Limbs thrown everywhere. Horse heads, horses and men with holes torn in their chest, holes both small like my pinky finger and bigger than my fist. It was a terrible sight. I wanted to leave but I knew we must look through it. We brought back the torso armor of a dead rider and something we still have to figure out what it is. I've had my subordinates wash this but it still smells."

Bozes reached her hand into a cloth bag brought out a piece of chest plate. It was riddled with holes and dried up blood traces. Hamilton's eyes grew wide when she noticed the 5.56mm holes created by a machineguns. Pina poked her finger through one of them as if she could not believe her eyes. Grey was just as surprised as the girls. He thought to himself "What could do that? Only high velocity armor piercing bodkin bolts had a chance of going through this thick armor."

"We also uncovered this..."

"What is it?"

A piece of cylinder metal object was shown to the princess

"What is that?" Pina Asked her subortinate

Soon after the so called Battle of Ginza, (better known as the Ginza incident), an international Coalition was form to counter attacked the mysterious enemy that has killed and kidnapped their people. 

Little did their enemy know, they have provoke two separate worlds.

ArchDhampir: Half ArchVampire, Half Human. The ArchDhampir Has the power of an ArchVampire and the... Something from humans? Not much else bad evolution.

King Vampire:A stronger version of the ArchVampire, Looks exactly like a normal Vampire

Ai was still asleep so I let her sleep, I left the room and entered the battlefield.

A noble male voice Shouted at me.

A Feminine voice again, shouted at me. There all looked Japanese again.

'Are Japanese people the only people that can be summoned?'

"Well you called me a demon when I'm not, so I guessed you were talking to someone else"-Shiro

"Well then what are you?"-Another different Hero.

A calm male voice Asked me.

"Well technically I'm a Dragon God Slime, but I used to be human but right now I'm in the form of a vampire, so yeah that's what"-Shiro

"...What..."-All of them in unison.

"So, you're telling me you used to be human?"-A way different another Hero

A quiet female voice asked me

"Well yeah so can you guys just leave"-Shiro

"Why should we!"-Hero

The first hero who yelled at me yelled at me again

"welp, I've been wanting to use this new skill, Devil Mode."-Shiro

My body got covered in a weird blue flame, My nails grew sharper,  I grew Demon Wings and Horns. I grasped my sword and Charged the first hero that yelled at me, we crossed swords but my sword broke his sword, he got decapitated by my sword. a Fireball appeared in front of me and hit me, but thanks to my armor, the spell did nothing

I chanted the spell at the Hero who sent the spell at me and killed them. The next person to confront me was a spearwoman, I summoned NoLifeKing to deal with them, he swiftly killed her. A summoner summoned some bone dragons but they died just from my mana pressure, I did an auto attack on them, they also died quickly. The next person was a swordswoman, she charged at me aiming for my head with her sword, I blocked it with my sword and broke her sword, I killed them quickly by decapitating them just like the first sword user. The last person was left, cowering before my overwhelming display of strength.

"Ple...Please don't kill me"-Another, different almost cool, maybe alternate Hero.

"Why should I?"-Shiro

"I...I'll help you and the demons, just, please... I don't want to die..."-Another, different almost cool, maybe alternate Hero.

Tears filled the Young Heroes eyes as he bowed down onto the ground

The guard walked up to Naguna.

Hey, um, Hi! I’m currently rewriting this. So if you click on my account or just search up ‘Reincarnated as a Slime’ You’ll find it. I literally made this two years ago so the writing is really just terrible. Sooooo, if you want to read this but with better characters, plot, writing, and basically everything, check it out. After Ryūshi created the plan of  recreating the Book Of Art,
Ryusei and the Dragon Sages then headed off to the mall in order to bond with one another.
After there bonding, They've trained for days in order to prepare for the upcoming mission.
A week then has passed since Ryūshi created the plan to recreate the Book Of Art,
Ryūsei and the other Dragon Sages headed off to the Japanese Government.

Ryūshi: Good Morning everyone,
A week has passed and I hope you are all ready???
Ryūsei: We are
Ray: Us as well Ryūshi, Our forces are ready to operate.
Saebi: We've informed our troops of the upcoming battle and all of them know what we're dealing with.
Eun: Quintela Shiori, What a tyrant.
Ryūshi: Now then, Since everyone is ready let us start collecting the pieces to recreate the Book Of Art.
Yuki: Where do we start Ryūshi???
Ryūshi: We start by heading back to your home planet Yuki, 
There we go get the Orb Of Art.

Shizen: Is it really safe to go back to Planet Ryūgū???, I mean Quintela-
Ryūshi: Quintela left Planet Ryūgū and headed off conquering other worlds.
Ryūsei: That bastard!!!! Why is she such a-
(Ryūsei then punches the metal wall with such intensity that it created a giant hole)
(Luna then approaches Yuki)
Luna: Yuki, Why is Ryūsei so pissed at her??? 
I understand that she wants to kill us all but still, It's like his hatred for Quintela is like-
Yuki: I'm sorry for his behavior Luna,
Ryūsei is just really pissed at Quintela,
It's because..... Ryūsei lost his love ones at Quintela's own hand.
Ryūshi: Even though Quintela left Planet Ryūgū, She left a lot a Demons behind and a couple of Elementalist who joined her side.
Ray: A couple of Elementalist???
Shizen: There were a couple of Dragon Sages who joined forces with Quintela.
Ryūshi: Our plan is to sneak into the Kingdom and get the Orb Of Art.
Ryūsei: What if were caught??
Ryūshi: Violence will be the last resort,
Now for the Dragon Sages who'll participate in the mission.

(After a while of talking, The meeting was dismissed)
Ryūshi: Now then is everyone ready??

(Ryūsei, Ryūshi, Luna, Kasai and Shadow disappeared from the room)

(Ryūshi then points somewhere, Ryūshi is poiting at a fire demon patrolling the area)
Ryūshi: We must be careful, Let's stick to the plan-
(Suddenly a fireball was headed to Ryūshi and the others)
Ryūshi: Looks like they've spotted us already.
Ryūsei: Since we got spotted already, Let's go to plan B.
Shadow: What's the plan Ryūsei???

(Suddenly, Hundreds of Fire Demons began to head there direction)
Kasai: Looks like we get to fight after all

(A barrage of Star and Meteor Dragon Energy was headed to the Fire Demons)
(It hits the Fire Demons in front and killing them immediately)
Kasai: Fire Dragon Inferno Blade!!!
( Kasai then launches an assault from Demon to Demon and killing all those Demons who gets in his way)
(The Fire Demons suddenly surrounded Ryūshi)

(Suddenly all the Fire Demons who were surrounding Ryūshi disintergrated)
Luna: Amazing, He defeated all those Demons in an instant....

(Ryūsei was then surrounded by Fire Demons)
Ryūsei: I'll show you a new spell you bastards.
(The Fire Demons then launch an all-out assault on Ryūsei)
(Ryūsei keeps on dodging attack to attack, While he's dodging he places a mark on the Fire Demons)
(A Fire Demon was about to attack Ryūsei from behind)
Shadow: Ryūsei!!! Watch out!!

(The Fire Demons attack hits a Fire Demon instead of Ryūsei)
Shadow: What just happened?? Was I seeing things or did Ryūsei and that Demon switch places instantly.
Luna: It's a spell that Ryūsei's been practicing, It allows Ryūsei to switch places between 2 objects or it allows Ryūsei to teleport there instantly as long as the objects contain a mark.
Kasai: And here I thought he's slacking off from his training.
(Ryūsei and the other Dragon Sages continue to fight Demon to Demon)

Luna: Star Dragon Sagittarius Scatter!!!!
(The spell hits the Fire Demons surrounding Ryūsei and Luna)
(Suddenly a Metaion launched an attack on Luna from behind)
(Metaions are metallic demons whose scales are harder than steel)
Ryūsei: Meteor Dragon Photon Fist!!!!
(Sadly Ryūsei was a little bit far away from Luna)

(Ryūsei then switches places with Luna and Ryūsei punches the Metaion, Crushing it's head)
Ryūsei: That was close, You almost gave me a heart attack...
Luna: I'm sorry Ryūsei, I should've not let my guard down.
Ryūsei: It's alright Luna.
Luna: But I've got a question, Since when did you place a mark on me???
I don't remember you marking me??
Ryūsei: I ugh.... well ugh....
(Luna then stares Ryūsei with a glare that causes Ryūsei fear)
Luna: You haven't done anything when I'm sleeping have you???!!!

(Ryūsei and Luna launched an assault some Metaions and Fire Demons)

(Ryūsei creates a wave of energy by slashing forward killing every Metaion and Fire Demon who gets in the way)

(Luna then throws her Star Blade to a Metaion hitting and piercing it's stomach )
(The Metaion survives Luna's attack but the Star Blade was still stuck and pierced in its stomach)

(Ryūsei then teleports to the Metaion and he then grabs Luna's Star Blade and he slashes the Metaion killing it)
(A Fire Demon then launches an attack on Ryūsei)

(The sword behind the Fire Demon switch places with Luna, And Luna was now behind the Fire Demon)

Shadow: That accent, I've never thought you'll join on Quintela's side, Hikari.
Hikari: Of course I'll join Quintela, The Kingdom's Rule was a little to unfair.
Also, You were the ones who were causing a riot weren't you.
(This is Hikari Shiro, A Dragon Sage who end up joining on Quintela's side)

(Hikari then started to touch Sora)

Now, After seeing here being torment like that by Hikari, Without even respect.
Kasai is more than pissed he was furious.

(Luna then attacked Blitz)
(But Luna's attack passed through Blitz)

(Luna then launches an all-out on Blitz,
But her attacks just passed through Blitz)

(Blitz then dies due to the injuries he received from the explosion)

A long time ago there was a battle that determined the faith of all Elementalist.
Quintela The Empress of Death and Akashino The 1st Grand Elementalist, Unfortunately Quintela was too strong for him.
And so Akashino was forced to seal her away with an ancient seal.
But the seal had a price of separating his soul from his body and sealing him away with Quintela.
The Dragon King feared that one day Quintela might escape from her seal and there will be no one powerful enough to stop her.
So he conducted a spell on Akashino's dead body that resurrects the body with a new soul from generation to generation.
Which result in the creation of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Grand Elementalist.
Now today Ryūsei struggles on a journey being the F-Rank Elementalist.

Once back in the Gummi Ship and starting to take off, Donald pulled up the map to see which pathway they had opened. The pathway split off to two different worlds, which surprised Toshiro. He expected that they would have to open up each world one by one.

"Hey! What happened to Twilight Town!?" Chip's voice echoed into the ship.

Pulling up a visual of said world they found it cloaked in darkness.

"It's gone!" Dale exclaimed.

"That's not good." Sora frowned, hoping Hayner and the others were okay. "Well, when it comes back let us know and we'll go check it out."

"Got it, Sora!"

Donald picked one of the two new worlds randomly and opened up a closer view of it over the darkness cloaked Twilight Town. It held a large empire within it that looked faintly Chinese and Toshiro grimaced. He would not be treated kindly there in his obvious Japanese garb, for the style of the castle looked to be around the same time that the Chinese and Japanese hated each other. Well, it was a different world; perhaps they wouldn't know Japanese here.

"Land of Dragons." Donald read the world's name aloud and Toshiro perked up for a moment. "Hm, wonder what's there."

"Gawrsh, looks like we're gonna pass through an asteroid field first." Goofy pointed ahead where Sora was following the path through a dense field of comets.

"And I'm sure there are Heartless ships." Sora sighed. "Got the guns, you guys?"

"We're on it!" Donald saluted and grabbed onto a set of control, as did Goofy.

"Oh great." Toshiro groaned and held tight to his seat.

"Sorry Captain, this is gonna be bumpy." Sora called back and Toshiro frowned further. "We've got to get the Heartless off the path before we can travel between worlds safely."

True to his word, the flight was terribly shaky, but with Sora's flying skills and the animals' good aiming, they managed to clear out the Heartless and make it through with barely a scratch. The same couldn't be said for Toshiro as he held his head, the familiar feeling of a migraine beginning to surface. He nearly shouted in relief as the world came into view and Sora drove in to land in a secluded area where no one would find the ship. He was once more the first off the ship to settle his stomach while the trio shut down the Gummi Ship.

'No more…' The ice Captain inwardly groaned. 'Let this mission be long enough so I can get over this migraine.'

'Only to get another one?' Hyorinmaru asked.

'Shut up.'

Once able to take in his surroundings, Toshiro realized they were in a bamboo forest. He could sense two people up ahead along the pathway they were heading down. Sure that Sora would follow the same path, Toshiro went ahead and began walking down to see who it was that was so close by. He could tell one was definitely a person, but the other was not. It was somewhat strong but not by much.

'I think the second being is a young dragon.' Hyorinmaru suggested.

'How would you know that?' Toshiro questioned before kneeling behind a boulder and looking into the clearing.

'Because I'm a dragon.'

Toshiro rolled his eyes and examined the two inside the clearing. The human was a young man by the looks of it…no, wait, it was definitely a woman. She was dressed as a man, though, and made a rather convincing one to those who didn't pay attention. Her hair was in a tight top knot to make it look short and she wore traditional Chinese armor with a green sash around the middle. As for the dragon…all he could see was a large, red-eyed shadow.

"Admit it, you're just scared." The dragon teased the woman.

"Aren't you?" She replied.

Toshiro decided they were friendly enough and stepped into the clearing.

"Excuse me." He called out for their attention.

The shadow of the dragon vanished as a small red dragon leaped onto the woman's shoulder and hid.

'Definitely a young dragon…' Hyorinmaru stated.

"Oh who-" The woman began to ask before clearing her throat and making it deeper. "Who are you?"

"I know you're a woman, cut the act." Toshiro sighed. "I guess here they don't allow women into the army?"

"Is there somewhere where they do?" The woman had returned to her normal voice.

"My wo…er, country, does. In fact, one of my subordinates is a woman."

"Subordinates?" The red dragon popped up on the woman's shoulder. "How old do you think you are, kid?"

"Probably older than you." Toshiro snapped.

"Oh yeah? I'm a bona fide guardian so while I'm little I'm ancient."

"Same."

"Ha! You've got nothing on me, kid!"

"Mushu." The woman hissed at the tiny red dragon.

"Oh come on, Mulan, he's tiny! Not to mention he's got some weird hair color going on there."

"I'm not tiny! And it's naturally white!" Toshiro growled as the air began to drop in temperature significantly.

"Uh-huh." Mushu looked skeptical.

The woman sighed heavily at the dragon's consistent teasing. She looked the boy over closely and realized something.

"Those garments…" She saw the boy stiffen. "Are you, perhaps…Japanese?"

"What!? You've gotta be kidding me!" Mushu exclaimed. "Just what we need, with Shan Yu running around."

"I'm not here to cause any trouble, I just-"

"Is that Mushu?" Goofy's voice came behind him and Toshiro sighed.

Sora and company stepped up next to their Soul Reaper companion, to Mushu's shock, and officially became part of the conversation.

"Hey Mushu!" Sora greeted.

"Sora! Donald! Goofy!" The red dragon beamed and leaped off of Mulan's shoulders to the ground.

"You know them?" Mulan questioned.

"Know them? Man, we used to kick all kinds of bad guy butt together."

"I'll believe that when I see it." Toshiro snorted.

Turning angrily to the white haired Captain, Mushu was about to snap something when he felt a strong presence coming from the boy that he'd failed to pick up earlier.

"Oh, right." Sora realized the dragon didn't know their new companion. "Mushu, this is Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya. We're trying to get him back to his home." Toshiro was surprised how easily Sora was able to cover up the identity of other worlds. Perhaps he was smarter than he made himself look.

"Hm…you aint human, are ya?" Mushu narrowed his eyes. Toshiro glared back in warning and the dragon noticed. "Meh, but what do I know? Anyway, I've helped Sora and his pals here out of a lot of tight spots. 'Cause I'm a mighty dragon, right?"

'And I'm made of fire.' Hyorinmaru snorted.

'He's obviously got an ego bigger than he is, it's a bad idea to argue with him.'

'Your pride has already done that.'

Sighing mentally, Toshiro turned back as Mulan glanced cautiously at the four of them.

"Something like that." Sora smirked at Mushu's earlier comment. "So, who are you?"

"I'm Mulan…no, wait I-I mean." Mulan panicked as she realized she'd messed up again at hiding her identity as a woman.

"Too late." Toshiro said. "There's no hiding that you're a girl."

"Wait, you're a girl!?" Sora exclaimed and Toshiro looked at him in surprise. He didn't know?

"Well…perhaps you could have continued on with the charade then." He turned back to Mulan.

The woman laughed lightly at that.

"You didn't notice?" She asked Sora.

"Eh, he'll believe anything." Mushu waved her off; Sora scowled at him. "But listen up you four, Mulan's trying to get into the army so she'll be going as Ping, got it? Girls aren't allowed into the army."

"That sucks." Sora crossed his arms.

"It's the way certain countries work, Sora." Toshiro reminded. "So, where are we heading, then?"

"Hold up, Japanese kid." Mushu singled out the Soul Reaper. "If Mulan gets seen with you she'll be turned around at the gates."

"I'll come behind you all, then. I'm a prodigy in my country, so thinking up a solution won't be a problem."

"Before we go, Mulan…er, Ping." Sora corrected himself quickly to get used to calling her that. "How do you know Mushu?"

"He's one of my family guardians." Mulan replied with a slight smile.

"Wow, we didn't know we were borrowin' anyone as important as a family guardian." Goofy replied in awe.

"That's right, which puts you three up to your eyeballs in debt to 'Ping' here. Now come on, let's get a move on! Lag behind, Toshiro."

"That's Captain Hitsugaya, dragon." Toshiro growled back.

As they began to walk off, Toshiro stopped Sora for a moment.

"What did Goofy mean by borrowing?" He questioned.

"Oh! On our last journey we were able to summon other people to help us, since they didn't have a world anymore and were trapped in a crystal. When we brought peace to the worlds after defeating Ansem they went back home. Mushu was one of them."

"Now I understand what he means. Go on, catch back up. I'll join you all shortly if I have to dress like one of them to get in."

"Be careful, Captain." The Keybearer ran to catch back up with his companions.

He waited until they were a good quarter mile away before following their path at a slow pace to keep distance between them. When they turned a corner and were out of sight he followed the traces of their Spirit Energy to keep him on the right track.

'So what is your plan, Master?' Hyorinmaru questioned.

'They obviously won't let me in if they think I'm Japanese, so either I make up some spy excuse or I say I was forced into the Japanese forces. If neither of those seem like they'll be good enough then I hide using a Kido spell and find a disguise.'

'You know there's no one small enough to be your size.'

'Don't even go there.'

'Perhaps you could simply tell them you've defected?'

'Maybe.'

He saw Sora and the others follow Mulan into the recruit camp and sped up his step a little. There were two guards at the entrance, both muscular and strict looking.

'This will be interesting no matter what happens.'

So Shiro might have a little difficulty working his way through this world, but hey, at least there's another dragon XD Not that Mushu's making his life any easier, lol. This world will be one of the longer arcs since there's a lot to do here. Hollow Bastion was a very short mission the first time around, you don't really stay there for very long except for the thousand Heartless battle much later on (I think I might have more Soul Reapers in here by then, hint hint, nudge nudge. Just don't expect them TOO soon). Enjoy!

"Jiang Yu, let your Rock Demon attack with me!" Ai Jiangtu said.
"Got it!"
Ai Jiangtu leapt into the air and landed firmly on the Rock Demon's shoulder.
Ai Jiangtu was wearing a dark blue jacket. Due to his military background, he had the imposing demeanor of an officer. He advanced with the Rock Demon, his eyes staring down at the remaining members of the Japanese team.
Suddenly, Ai Jiangtu raised his hands! "Stop!"
An invisible Space energy spread out. When the team was confused about why he was reacting strangely all of a sudden, they soon discovered six shadow thorns within ten meters of Ai Jiangtu. The thorns were flying rapidly toward him from the woods, yet they immediately came to a stop ten meters away!
The six Thorns of the Shadow Rose failed to move any closer to Ai Jiangtu, despite their extraordinary power. It was like there was a magnetic field at ten meters circling Ai Jiangtu. Any object trying to harm him was unable to move any closer!
"Break!" Ai Jiangtu clenched his fist. The six shadow thorns were immediately crushed by overwhelming force. They immediately turned into black puffs of smoke, dispersing in the air.
Within the woods, a pair of sharp eyes flickered. Ai Jiangtu immediately turned around as his silver eyes emitted a brilliant glow.
The owner of the eyes immediately realized the danger he was in. He quickly withdrew into the shadows and disappeared into the woods like a phantom.
As soon as the figure vanished, a section of the woods was crushed into pieces, splintering in all directions. An area a hundred meters square was razed to the ground!
Standing a safe distance away, Akira Matsuki gasped in relief. He stared at Ai Jiangtu standing there on the Rock Demon's shoulder.
"This guy is extremely dangerous! He almost caught me!" Akira Matsuki was drenched in cold sweat.
He was only trying to ambush Ai Jiangtu, who had clearly exposed himself. To his surprise, not only did the man nullify his attack with ease, his location was almost compromised! It was tricky to defend against the man's outstanding control of the Space Element. If he had been any slower, he would have to leave the match in shame!

The Rock Demon continued moving forward. Ai Jiangtu opened his hand as he began to emit a brilliant, silver glow.
The fiery sparrows lunging at him from the air, the rupture approaching him along the ground, the fierce tide pouring down from above, and the gradually-approaching storm, all spells meant to land on Ai Jiangtu, had come to a complete stop, as if time had stopped flowing!
The four spells had stopped completely before Ai Jiangtu's power. They could not even move an inch closer to Ai Jiangtu and the Rock Demon. The spectacular move immediately earned a loud cheer from the spectators!
"Such a strong Space Mage!"
"He just stopped all the spells with a single wave. This man must be the captain of the Chinese team! He is so cool!"
"I'm afraid even the Advanced Spells won't be able to harm him. He's like an adult facing the wild swings and kicks from a three-year-old."
Ai Jiangtu's performance immediately stirred an uproar from the crowd. The incomparable strength of the Space Element had made him look unbeatable, as spells of multiple Elements had failed to overcome the field of energy that Ai Jiangtu had set up!
Under the stage, Mo Fan was extremely jealous when he saw how impressive Ai Jiangtu's Space magic was.
He had to admit Ai Jiangtu's Space Element was terrifying. Mo Fan was also a Space Mage, so he knew how difficult it was to stop every spell targeting him. He could not help but be impressed when he recalled that his Space Rhythm: Time Stasis could only reduce the speed of the spells within it!
The path of cultivation was never-ending. His Lightning and Fire Elements were very impressive now, but he still needed to put in more effort to improve his Space, Shadow, and Summoning Elements!

More rocks burst out of the ground, their height increasing. They went from three meters at the start to fifteen meters high. The rocks continued to spring up with shocking force, like the backbone of a dragon rising from the ground, smashing anything along the surface into pieces!
The Earth Dragon Spikes reached the Rock Demon. A spike twenty meters long sprang up and knocked the Rock Demon to the ground.
Ai Jiangtu was aware of how powerful the spell was. His Space Stasis had no chance of stopping the spikes. Left with no choice, Ai Jiangtu cast a spell and blinked a certain distance away while forcibly bringing the enormous Rock Demon along with him!
The Earth Dragon Spikes were still coming out of the ground, and the spikes that appeared later were absolutely massive. Luckily, Ai Jiangtu had blinked to where the first spike was, meaning that he was safe from the strong Earth Spell!
The Rock Demon had a few cracks on him. Despite its outstanding size, its strength was pretty average, although its sturdy, thick skin was able to take a fair amount of damage. The reason why Ai Jiangtu bothered using the Space Spell to save the creature was because if it was around, even without Time Stasis, it could still take some hits for the team!
As Ai Jiangtu was advancing, Jiang Shaoxu and Mu Ningxue had plenty of time to cast their spells. Jiang Shaoxu completed her Psychic Spell first.
She was busy preparing Psychic Impact in the form of a wave. She believed once she released the spell, the Japanese team would not be able to cast any spell above the Intermediate Level for a short period!
"Psychic Wave!"
Jiang Shaoxu finally completed her spell. The invisible Psychic force immediately penetrated the minds of the Japanese members. Those that were in the middle of connecting Stars were taken by surprise. The Stars immediately scattered in disorder, making it impossible for them to arrange them into the Star Patterns for Star Constellations!
Even Shou Watani was affected by the Psychic Wave. He finally understood why Ai Jiangtu was willing to expend his energy and forcibly push forward with the Rock Demon. He was providing cover for the Psychic Mage on his team!
"Calming Pendant!"
When the Japanese team was in chaos from the Psychic spell, the short-haired Maga on the Japanese team suddenly kissed the Pendant on her neck. It immediately emitted a gentle, faint-blue glow. The gentle glow descended upon her teammates and calmed their minds!
Most importantly, apart from the short-haired woman, all her teammates were recovering quickly.
"Damn it, I didn't expect them to have such a piece of magic equipment!" Jiang Shaoxu was extremely annoyed.
The Psychic Wave could easily secure the victory for them, since not many Mages were able to cast their spells under its effects. If the enemy could not use their magic, even for a short period of time, the situation would be totally in their favor. To their surprise, the Japanese team was extremely cunning. They had brought along a magic item of the Psychic Element even when they did not have a Psychic Mage on their team. Something like that was very expensive and rare!

Mo Fan nodded in agreement.
Mo Fan also had a Focus Necklace on his neck. It was able to block a single Psychic attack or a bewitching spell within a certain period. Jiang Shaoxu's tertiary Element was Ice. She was not particularly adept with it, but it was still useful in battle, since it was possible to stack their Ice Magic!
"Mu Ningxue, your Ice Element..." Jiang Shaoxu was about to ask Mu Ningxue how she was going with her preparations. However, when she turned around, she saw Mu Ningxue flying into the air!

Having said that, he used less than two minutes to kill all thirty-four of them.

Nine nautical miles away, three Huaxia surveillance boats floated thirty meters apart from each other, their bows facing Turtle Island.
A marine policeman named Lee was reporting to Instructor Zhang on the largest surveillance boat.
"I heard it as well, there wasn't just one shot. I think that guy must be done for…"
Another marine policeman continued, frowning as he stared in the direction of Turtle Island.
Instructor Zhang's brows were knitted tightly. He wasn't deaf. Moreover, the southeast wind was blowing tonight. The sea breeze had brought the sounds to his ears.
"It's too late even if we head there now. Besides, the higher-ups disallowed it…"
Anxiety flashed through Instructor Zhang's eyes. He pointed his finger above him, signaling the satellite on top of them!
Lee was worried. "Instructor Zhang, no matter what, that person is our Huaxia comrade. Moreover, he is a patriot. How can we just leave him like that?"

The marine policemen became animated after listening to Instructor Zhang's analysis. "Instructor Zhang, what should we do now then?" Lee asked.
"Charge towards Turtle Island. The Japanese opened fire first. We have to get to the bottom of this!"

The patrol boat was too huge. It was more than sixty meters long, ten meters wide, and had a displacement of more than a thousand tons. Ling Yun had never operated anything of such size.
Then, he pointed to the taller one. "You, establish comms directly with your commander. Ask him if he wants to continue fighting or to surrender immediately!"
"I have the final say in this territory! Do you understand?" Ling Yun declared deeply.
Ling Yun secretly thanked Kong Xiuru and Long Wu. Learning English wasn't a waste! It seemed like he had to learn some Japanese when he returned.
Unexpectedly, the big-breasted Japanese woman shook her head defiantly.
Ling Yun was somewhat depressed but also secretly impressed at her guts.
How could a nation become strong? It could become strong only when everyone's hearts were united as one.

In order to strike fighter jets down from the ground, one would need the most advanced anti-air weapons, which required guided missile vehicles, or missile platforms. It was impossible to smuggle those huge apparatus into Japan from China.
Minister of National Defence's face was taut with anger and disbelief. He fixed his gaze on the messenger.
Sweat streaked across the messenger's forehead, he managed to squeeze out a smile and said:
"The front line soldiers said that the jets were struck down by a ray of golden light. It was some kind of guided hypersonic missile. Some soldiers were convinced that that ray of light was the so-called… flying sword in Chinese myth… so I have heard."
"Flying sword?"
The Japanese generals were taken aback. 
This name was not unfamiliar to most Japanese people. The Japanese culture was nurtured by its much older Chinese counterpart. They were heavily influenced by the culture of the Chinese Tang dynasty and the Tang Dynasty legends such as the sages and their flying swords were well known to all Japanese. 
However, those were high tales, and not even the Chinese believed in those, much less Japanese.
Even Grandmasters could project their Internal Force out over thirty meters at the most. A Perfected one has the unimaginable power of controlling thunder and fire, but even they would not believe in legends such as flying swords. 
In order to use a flying sword, one would first need a powerful Divine Soul. Chen Fan wouldn't be able to control the flying sword to strike down the jets and helicopters until he had overcharged the Soul Refining Art to boost his Divine Will. Once those helicopters fled to beyond the range of his Divine Will, Chen Fan wouldn't be able to harm them. 
Even though Chen Fan was able to pull it off, he did it with great difficulty. Only when he had reached the Divine Sea level, could he use the powerful flying sword with ease. Chen Fan would never think of using the flying sword if the Japanese didn't send in hypersonic jets.

In the distance, a smear of golden lights flashed in fits and starts, then three F-15 jets exploded in the air, turning into three balls of fire. The golden light then lanced across the helicopter formation, destroying fourteen helicopters in one fell swoop. 
"What?!"
The meeting room became pin-drop quiet after they saw the scene on the screen. 
Although no one could tell what that golden light was made out of, it had displayed more maneuverability and deadliness than even the most powerful guided anti-air missiles. It was able to cruise, turn, lock onto a target and accelerate all by itself. Worse, it could be used repeatedly, unlike any missile. 
It was evident that this weapon was not from the arsenal of the present time.
Did China invent a revolutionary weapon? It was just a fleeting thought in the mind of Minister of National Defence. He quickly dismissed it. 
"Minister, what should we do next?" A general from the air force hazarded
If the Japan Self-Defense Forces failed to bring Chen Fan to heel with an entire brigade and three fighter jets, there is nothing they could really do. After all, they were not even a fully-fledged military force and were only responsible for safeguarding the Japanese islands. If they were the American military, they would have already sent in a squadron of jets to subjugate Chen Fan. 
"I will report to prime-minister right away. Don't make any move without my order."
Minister of National Defence weighed his options for a long while and then concluded with a long helpless sigh. 
Despite the gloomy expression on their faces, the other generals cherished the fact that they didn't have to deal with Chen Beixuan for a while. None of the generals wanted to deal with dead soldiers and wast expensive equipment under their jurisdiction. The fourteenth brigade had lost twenty-one planes and thousands of soldiers in a matter of half-day, a price no one wanted to pay.

Director Xiao knew he wouldn't get anything. He asked the question just for the sake of his sanity, lulling himself to think that he was doing something.
He took another drag of the cigarette and knotted his brows even tighter.
Director Xiao was not only worried about Chen Fan, but also Red Sparrow. He had watched as Red Sparrow grew up and had treated her as his own daughter. She followed Chen Fan into the midst of a deadly battle and since then, he hadn't heard from her. Director Xiao didn't think that the Japan Self-Defense Forces would show mercy and spare her life if she was captured. When the cigarette had only half left, someone barged into the meeting room and a young man shouted at them with much elation and glee.
"Minister, breaking news from Japan. You won't believe it!"
"What's going on? Mind your manners, solider." Before Director Xiao could reply, a senior Deputy Director chided. 
Director Xiao didn't mind the young soldier's manners, he asked hurriedly: "You bring news from Japan? Did Chen Beixuan and Red Sparrow getaway? Are they safe?"
White Tiger, Black Tortoise, and all the other deputy ministers listened attentively.
They would consider Chen Fan and Red Sparrow lucky if they could escape from a four thousand strong army with air support. 
"No… I mean. Yes, they are safe. But Chen Beixuan didn't run away. He turned the tables on the Japanese. He killed thousands of soldiers and routed the entire brigade." The young man cheered, waving a piece of telegram message in his hand.
"What?"
The announcement had shocked everyone in the meeting room. 
White Tiger had been sitting with his legs crossed, but the shock nearly pitched him out of his chair. Black Tortoise also wrenched his eyes open with disbelief. The deputy directors were all stunned by the news, finding it difficult to come to terms with reality.
Director Xiao was rendered speechless for a long moment. He then murmured to himself: "He did it? Chen Beixuan won the battle? How is that possible? Chen Beixuan had just reached Immortal State, he shouldn't be so powerful as to destroy an entire brigade."
"Xiao Gao, is your source reliable?"
The senior deputy director who had chided the young man was at it again: "We have considered the plausibility of one man taking on an entire army and we know it is impossible. Xiao Gao the messenger flung back at them indignantly: "What I said is real! It got it from my source working at the chief command's office in Japan. Chen Beixuan had charged at the army formation by himself and routed the brigade. No guns, let it be rifles or heavy machines guns could harm him. It was as if his body was made out of steel."
"And…" Xiao Gao paused, letting the suspense hang in the air for a moment
"And what?" The others urged him. 
"And Chen Beixuan had struck down eighteen AH-1 Cobras and three F-15 fighter jets." Xiao Gao finally said. A pin-drop silence fell over the meeting room. Everyone looked at each other with fear and shock in their eyes.
The outcome of the battle had astounded all nations in East Asia. 
However, the implication of the battle had just started to be felt by the world.
