Rakesh… Rakesh, wake up its 9 :30 just thirty minutes till your school starts, wake up "let me sleep for five more minutes moon just five minutes"  again tucking the blanket over his head Rakesh pleads to his mom.
Mrs Sharma was trying to get her son up from his slumber, this was his senior year at high school and the final exams were knocking on the door, yet her son never studied even an hour at home, but wasted time video games and other useless stuffs and now he is even late for school.

After trying to wake her son up for 30 minutes, Mrs Sharma was at her wits end and in her fit of rage she poured a bucket of cold water over his head after pulling the blanket off of him. With ice cold water all over his body Rakesh woke up from the shock, saw his mom with the bucket.

Mrs Sharma was waiting there with a smiling face to see her goal being achieved, yet a few seconds later her face had an even more furious expression as things did not go as she expected. Instead Rakesh just kept sleeping after wiping his face with the blanket and sliding to the dry side of bed.

Furious Mrs Sharma could not take it anymore and came down the stairs with figurative hot steam rising above her head looking for someone to vent her anger.

Knowing very well what's happening on the upper floor and what will become of him if his betterhalf sees him Mr Sharma hurriedly put on his office shoes and ran towards the door as if running for his life. Mrs Sharma does not find her husband on the ground floor or any living being. She calls her best friend Mrs Batra to talk bad about her son and husband which has become a routine. And as a routine Mrs Batra also starts badmouthing her son and husband the same way.

During the mean time Rakesh has come down to the leaving room listening the routine chit chat between his mother and Mrs Batra.

He is already dressed in the school uniform with his school bag and grabs his breakfast bread and jam which has already been made by his mother and tries tiptoe to the door and leave for school quietly without making any noise while keeping attention to every single movement of his mother as to not draw any attention.

But accidently his hands touch the decorative vase kept near the exit, the vase falls down due to the impact and keeps falling for time which seemed like eternity to Rakesh. He tried utmost to his ability to catch the vase but as he saw all his effort in vain he made the dash to the door for his life and ran for a good few hundred meters only then he breathes a sigh of relief.

Mrs Sharma hearing the sound of something falling down and seeing the shadow of her son sprinting out of the door, drops her call. She did not seem angry anymore instead had a bitter smile on her face.

She thinks about her who had never been a trouble maker, and has always been a good student even though she had never seen him studying in home, he always came in the top ten in his class for which she had always been proud. Everything about him was good except for his laziness and disinterest in putting the extra effort. 

Although she had never seriously worried about her son's future she always worried that her son is never going to live up to his potential.

Thinking about the uncertain future of her son and his easy go lucky attitude she has no option rather to pray in her mind" Ooh Mahadev* please bless my son with some SAD-BUDDHI*". Then she goes off to do her chores.

In the meantime Rakesh who was hurrying to the school does not have the faintest of ideas of what fate has in store for him. He, whose name will be known to all of humanity in a few years of time.

After a couple days with that clean freak brother-in-law of hers, Sujin is exhausted. Jungwoo, even though banned from cleaning the office, still cleaned. Well, more like organized. If anything was crooked or out of place, he would very carefully make it neat and even. If he saw something and knew that he wouldn't be able to clean it, Jungwoo would glare at the dust or crumbs or whatever it was until they left the office. Once Sujin heard that she would be training with her older brother JaeSeong, she felt relieved. 

⌠Finally! I can get training with JaeSeong. No more hanging out with the Prince of Cleaning!⌡

Little did Sujin know that her quiet, techie brother JaeSeong was just as bad as Jungwoo. Only, he wasn't a clean freak, he was a video game geek!!!

Sujin did not expect to see this when she walked into the IT office.

The employees didn't even greet Sujin when she came in, they just continued playing their video games. Bewildered by the sight, Sujin went around to a few employees trying to ask them questions, but no one would answer. Their soul focus was the video game on the screen in front of them. Sujin soon realized why they wouldn't answer, or thought she realized the reason why.

⌠They must be afraid of getting in trouble...⌡Sujin thinks. 

⌠Why would they be so scared to get in trouble though? One branch of our company focuses video game development, so it's expected that the IT department tests video games. Why are they so scared? Or are they not scared??⌡

But, when Sujin took a closer look at the video game on the computer screen, she was shocked! This wasn't the game that JaeSeong presented during the latest press conference, it was LOL. League of Lords! 

⌠What is my brother doing?⌡ Sujin asks herself.

Then, it dawned on her. Her brother was using the employees to help him win victories. She slapped her head. She just discovered the extreme habits of Jungwoo, and didn't want to imagine what JaeSeong's habits would be like. Then out of nowhere, a the LOL theme song started playing. All the employees got up and put their hands to their temple. Like a scene from a movie, the employees waited for their boss to arrive. 

CLICK! The office door opens, and a tall man strides in, a foam sword in one hand, and black stains on the other. The man has handsome features, but half of his face is covered in black war paint, preventing anyone from looking at his handsome face. His tie is loose and his long ebony hair falls over one eye. Some employees gasp as this man walks by them, but they remain at attention. He makes his way to a glass desk in the middle of the room, and takes a seat in his throne (a swivel chair). The employees turn towards their leader, bow, and let out a war cry.

"PrivateSKYLORD483 reporting sir! Sir, in exactly five minutes, we have a duel with our rival, Lord Thief's Clan. SIR!" An employee dressed in an aviator outfit says.

"Hmmmm," the leader thinks. "All right. We shall commence our attack in a minute."

"But, sir—" the aviator begins.

"Lord Thief likes to play dirty. So we'll beat him at his own game." the leader says.

"Yes, sir!" The employees say. 

The man stands, taking the foam sword in hand. He raises the foam sword above his head shouting, "TO VICTORY MY FELLOW COMRADES!!"

The employees release a war cry in reply and scream, "TO VICTORY!!"

All at once, the groups sits down at their desks. Their hands hover over the keyboard, waiting for the first command. The boss sits at his desk, his eyes on the digital clock, which is projected onto one of the office walls. 

"Ready," he shouts. All hands are on the keys, anticipating the command. 


"NOW!" the man commands. 

And just like that, the sound of keyboard clicks fills the office. No one has their eyes off the screens. There's an occasional shout, but most employees remain quiet. Concentration is key in the IT department. One wrong click, and it could be over.

"Hey SpiritWalker123," one says. " Cast some better spells! We won't be able to get any loot with your weak, pathetic spells!"

"PrinceTechie67! Revive me! Revive me! I'm in the red zone! Help!!!" One employee panics. 

"TheUltimatelyAwesomeMr.Kitty! NOOOOOOO! TheUlitmatelyAwesomeMr.Kitty is down! REPEAT THE KITTY IS DEAD!" 

Gasps are heard when the employee announces that TheUltimatelyAwesomeMr.Kitty is dead. How could one of the best players be down already????!! The keyboard clicks and clicks of the mouse increase in intensity as the employees become anxious since TheUltimatelyAwesomeMr.Kitty is no longer in the game. 

⌠TheUltimatelyAwesomeMr.Kitty?? What?????? What??????? What???????? WHATTTTTTTTT?????????????????????⌡Sujin thinks to herself as she tries to decipher this foreign language.

"WHAT SORCERY IS THIS!!!!!!" An employee screams.

"OHhhh! NOOOO! Reporting sir, the boss is extremely hard to beat! We've just lost four wizards!!" Reports one employee.

Meanwhile, the man sitting at the desk is uncomfortably quiet. He hasn't said anything since the battle started?!? As soon as he hears the employees' panicked voices, his hands start flying across the keyboard. Sujin watches as this man takes out more that twenty enemies in a matter of minutes. He hits the last key on the keyboard and sits back in his chair, sighing in relief. He not only handled the boss, but he handled the rest of Lord Thief's clan! 

⌠Our boss is amazing!⌡All the employees think to themselves.

Although the employees and boss are celebrating the victory, and having the time of their life playing video games, Sujin is still confused. She's retreated towards the furthest corner in the office, slowly inching her way towards the exit. She prays as she slowly inches away hoping no one will notice—

"STOP RIGHT THERE FELLOW COMRADE! COME JOIN OUR HONORABLE CAUSE!" An employee dressed in gladiator get up says.

Sujin points to herself. Silently praying that this man speaking in that foreign language is not talking to her. 

"YESS! I'MMMMM TALKING TO YOU FAIR MAIDEN!!" The gladiator screams.

"WILL YOU JOIN OUR PRINCE IN HIS NOBLE CAUSE? WILL YOU FIGHT FOR THE LIGHT AND HELP BANISH THE EVIL!?"

⌠Does he think I understand this foreign language?⌡Sujin thinks.

⌠Well I guess I can give this a try….⌡

Sujin nods reluctantly, "I'll join your cause."

That was a Big MISTAKE.A BIGGGGG MISTAKE.

Sujin is forcefully dragged to a desk and is seated in front of a computer. She's really really confused now, and rather uncomfortable, since all the employees are staring at her. 

⌠A computer?!? They expect me to know how to play that game?!?!? Oooooooo, HECKKKKKK NOOOO. There is no way in Hell, in HELLLLLLLLL, that I am going to play that game. That is not a human language ok! THAT IS AN ALIEN LANGUAGE THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND AT ALL!!!! THERES NO WAYYyyy. NO WAYYYYYY. NO. I REFUSE!⌡

But, of course, Sujin has to play the game 'cause things just never go her way. 

Sujin starts to play the game. More like attempts to. She can't play video games to save her life. All the employees are shocked.

⌠I've never seen someone so bad a video games . . . . ⌡ They think to themselves.

"OKAYYYY. FAIR MAIDEN, PLEASE TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF THAT COMPUTER." The gladiator shouts.

⌠Thank GOD!⌡Sujin thinks. ⌠I don't think I could have played for a minute longer!⌡

"I've never seen anyone with such bad video game skills," One employee whispers.

The boss's gaze snaps to where his sister sits when he hears that comment. His heart is hurt seeing that his fellow comrades have hurt his little sister. Knowing what he must do, he stands up and walks towards the desk his sister sits at. When he's about halfway there, he stops. Now, JaeSeong is usually very quiet, and prefers not to yell, but what he did next caught everyone off guard.

"DON'T YOU DARE DISS MY LITTLE SISTER LIKE THAT!" JaeSeong bellowed.

The whole office stopped at the sound of his loud voice. Everyone was shocked. The employees were shocked that their leader had yelled, but Sujin was shocked that the man with the black war paint on his face was her brother!

"Oppa," Sujin says anxiously, "It's okay. I really don't know how to play video games though. So, you don't have to be mad Oppa. The employees were just stating facts."

"NO!" The man yells. "NO ONE! I repeat NO ONE, WILL EVER DISS MY SISTER. UNDERSTOOD!?"

The employees all nod and quickly resume with the keyboard and mouse clicks. 

JaeSeong walks over to Sujin, and takes her into his office. Once inside the office, he closes the door.

"Sorry little sis," he says his voice a bit hoarse.

"It's ok Oppa. Don't worry. It's a new experience, of course I would be bad. Now, let's get back to the office. I'm sure your COMRADES are waiting for the next attack." Sujin giggles. 

JaeSeong smiles, and holds out his arm. Sujin links her arm through his, and they go back into the office to conquer the world of League of Lords and anything that awaits.

Hello, NewUser064. The system scanned Rio's device on her wrist and allowed her into the restaurant. It wasn't the same one she had come a few days ago. Rather it was on a tiny complex deep in street five. The receptionist noticed her. 

"Hello. How can I help you?" said the receptionist. 
"Umm, there's a task here that I've to do," said Rio showing her wrist to him to read. 
"Newly appointed?" 
"Yes," said Rio hesitatingly. She didn't have any proof that she has been doing these things for a couple of years, would anyone believe without that? 
"The power source is in the backyard. Here's the way." the receptionist showed her the way from where he stood. Remembering the directions, she headed towards the backyard. 

The first work after getting the device was at a restaurant. The device showed her the direction with maximum time she can spend doing that. There were many more steps to complete her first work. She would have to check the speed of the machine that was working before fixing, then do whatever was needed and then record the new speed after fixing. 

She had only half an hour doing that. Looking at that, she couldn't understand why one would need such a long time. Even if one doesn't have that spray, one shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to clean that. 'It's only dust. Not your typical glue' wondered aloud. 

She used only her trusty screwdriver to get rid of stubborn dust. It normally takes a brush to remove those, but it looked like someone sprayed water on it. It was stuck so hard with the surface. 

Her mind was on her task only. But how much would they pay me for this? A question struck her mind. She brought her wrist nearer to have a look at it. 85 COH. They wanna pay that much just because they can't clean it themselves. Will they get their hands bloodied the way she saw in her dreams? 

After finishing with the locking mechanism of the power backup, she opened the door to have a look at that. She looked around to make sure it was disconnected. She went ahead and moved her hands as fast as she could. 

After a while, the receptionist appeared from behind. He intently saw her working. 

"All done?" asked the receptionist. 
"Just a minute. Could you please turn it back on? I need to check the speed." said Rio hurriedly closing the compartment and dusting away her hands. Glittery dust flew in the air as she dusted her tools. 

"You don't look like a newbie." said the receptionist. 
"Yes. Cause I've been doing the same thing for the last three years," said Rio, noting the readings and confirming in her task sheet. 
"Then your device showed…." 
"It showed because I lost my card this morning," said Rio looking at the apologetic face of the receptionist. "To be honest, I accidentally burnt it." 
"Have you been working with the card all these years?" 
"Yes. Do we get anything else during our internship?" said Rio. She doubted there was anything else other than the work card. 
"No, I mean didn't you get the device on your…." his inquiries went off as Rio interrupted, "No. I don't know why I didn't get it after I turned eighteen. But that doesn't matter now." she prepared to leave the location. "I've got a lot to do." 

She reached the reception desk to scan her device that confirmed her work and it blinked as it received her first 85 coins of health. Was her first day of work looked like this? It was cheerful but she still has to do a lot. At least to have enough to give to her mother, if she didn't want her to know anything about this mishap. 

The first day had places that were quite high profile. Hospitals, cafes, shopping centers, and even banks. Isn't the chairman worried about this? So many places are lacking work speed and this person doesn't seem to worry about anything. Of course, Mr. Maning is worried about his family drama instead of this. 

Not every place had such an understanding of receptionist or even an employee. Many were lost on the TV screen with the repetitive headlines of Mrs. Maning. They were too busy to care about 'who the new silver dust cleaning girl' or even 'isn't it the girl who is on the screen'. They looked at Kner sympathetically which burned Rio's heart. 

Some even had time to question her new identity. Funny thing was that no one asked her name. Was she lucky today? Or they didn't mind? Who cares when you have to have money to handover to your mother else she would swoon and upon waking her would run off to the scary swirl? 

Another thing that struck her mind was what if her dreams have become a reality? What if Kner had left her in the figurative swirl in the city and runoff, laughing? What if her mother would push her off the ground? What if she gets her hand bloodied just when she touches the glittered dust? Her screwdriver fell right on her foot, making her alert. She was on the top of the tower that controlled traffic. It worked on its own. The view of the city looked a step away from being perfect. What was the mess, she couldn't tell it right away. But it looked as if a storm had just passed by, destroying everything in its way. 

Her palm-reader on her wrist vibrated, showing her a notification. Clicking on it her jaw dropped.

Rio didn't feel like its anything about her. She was sure it must be someone else. Reading more about that, her mind whirled seeing it to be the claim made by Mrs. Maning. Does she know anything else other than this? Her eyes didn't believe as she read further that it was indeed written about her. 
'Rionora Tarnilier, the intern who looks innocent but is not.' She sighed reading the sentence. That doesn't explain anything. 
'The one who should focus on her work wandered around with my son. Despite my objections, she never listened to us. Everyone is aware of the cheap tricks of the workers but sadly my son didn't know any of it. 
Forgetting her limits, she coaxed him to give her higher posts before she completed her projects. Instead, my son had to give her something else. He even had to pay her from our treasury just because she didn't get what she wanted. The workers, don't even know that's how it doesn't work. But sadly they stay where they are, don't even know the basic knowledge of the work thingy works. 
When he decided to give her a nice post in our company, he asked something from her in return. But she dared not to obey him and along with it, she even threatened him the evil language of Zolzeim. I fear she has secret trades with them and conspires against our country. 
I want immediate the police to arrest her for her crimes. It's not my word, it's my son's demand. If the city wants its next chairman to be healthy, do him justice. Get rid of the girl.

The news that was between a few people is out now. Everyone would get rid of her. She even ordered an arrest. Did the matter reach that extreme and she didn't even realize any of it? Had he told her to stay away one single time, she would have stopped working there. She just wanted her certificate after a few days of working. Oh, occasionally she did ask him for any stable job in a nice place. 'I can even give you the companies in my hand', indeed were his words. The scenes ran in a loop in her head, making her close her eyes. Gladly there was no one in the control room, else it would have been embarrassing to cry in public. How can he just lie like that to his mom? Doesn't he know what was going on between them? Rio even stopped asking him for work since the last week, let alone the stable job after the internship. 

This news must have gone to her mom. She would finish her for sure. Her heart twisted thinking about what she would do at home. She decided not to go home early. But where should she go if not home? Before the premieres of the two movies, most people were certain that "King of Snipers" would run away with quite a number of awards at Leizhou's biggest movie awards event. However, when "King of Snipers" and "God of War" were simultaneously screened, many people feared that "King of Snipers" would lose the "Best Movie Soundtrack" award.
Everyone knew that a "crappy film" like "God of War" had no way of winning any awards. It was unlikely that Leizhou's Film Association would give the movie any awards, as they felt it was beneath them. However, if they were to award "Best Movie Soundtrack" to "King of Snipers," it would certainly cause an uproar. Many people could tell that Leizhou's Film Association would instead hand over the award to a different movie, hence avoiding the head-to-head clash of soundtracks.
The investors behind "King of Snipers" were raging. After all, the soundtrack was one of the top priorities. They had put in a considerable sum to hire a celebrated band to produce their soundtrack. Yet it had all gone to waste, as their plans for the award were wrecked by that imbecile Zaro.
Some investors had also hired a bunch of professionals to stir and discredit Zaro and his team in the media. However, Zaro hit back with a public interview.

For all those that criticized "God of War" and said that the ones who enjoyed "God of War" were handicapped, Zaro shredded them. "Just watching and criticizing a movie makes you feel all superior? If you're that capable, why not join the military and embark on a trip to search for new resources?"
Zaro was not afraid of any criticism. No matter how vicious the comments were, he paid no heed. This "crappy film" he had starred in had a soundtrack that had denied the other side an award. Although not being able to compete in terms of box office sales, ratings, or awards, denying them the "Best Movie Soundtrack" award was satisfactory and made him happy. It was a heroic deed. He deserved a raise!
Zaro's agent was equally ecstatic. Not just because they had managed to deny the award but because the film had broken even and made a profit of more than 60 million! Purely profits!
The revenue might be a small matter in other companies in the film industry, but given Zaro's tendency to splash out cash to make a crappy movie, the target every time was to break even. This time around, after deducting the expenses, promotion fees, and salaries, they had profited more than 60 million! This was a tremendous improvement. Once in awhile, Zaro's agent wondered if it would have been even better had they managed to secure the rights to "Mission." Although he would quickly forget about it and shift it to the back of his mind.
In Yanzhou.
Fang Zhao paid no mind to the happenings in the global entertainment circle, instead leading his team to work. Even if Duan Qianji had not said anything, he had already decided to complete production for the fourth movement before Memorial Day so the entire team could have a long and relaxing Memorial holiday.
Since the rights to the third movement already belonged to Yanzhou's recruitment video, for the masses, they could only listen to the third movement by viewing the video online. Television stations, studios, advertising companies, etc. were not authorized to play it. Doing so would be an infringement and the offending party would have to go to court.

"The first matter. Yanzhou Millitary's recruitment video's global circulation brought a lot of attention to the third movement." Duan Qianji opened a projection and showed Fang Zhao a screenshot of an online discussion.
Now that the third movement had garnered much reputation, more people realized that they did not understand the lyrics of a portion of the song.
"Does anyone know what it is? What language is it?"
"Preliminary investigations have shown that it is some sort of ancient language. Possibly from an era before the end of days. We need someone to shed light on the matter."
"Anyone online who has studied linguistics? Please explain!"

What Duan Qianji showed Fang Zhao was an online discussion where people from every continent discussed the lyrics, and it was even picked up by the media.
Many people who studied music knew that songs were mostly expressed in a few globally fashionable languages. Just that, when the languages mixed and got complicated, it was harder to understand the meaning of the song. Thus, not many people would actually try to decipher the meanings behind the many languages.
Still, no matter how many languages were used, there still existed music that was beyond the control of languages—using an unknown language to convey the song. To put it bluntly, it was self-created musical language.
This sort of language on its own had no significance. Normally, it would just be for the sake of complementing the melody. Alternatively, it could be some sort of ancient language that had died out. No matter the reason, it would not be able to clearly express much. But it could convey the feelings that the artist had in mind.
Whatever the reason, when nobody could figure it out, the remaining option was to ask the composer himself. This was the question on the minds of internet users of every continent.
Previously, Duan Qianji had not paid much attention. She had felt that with regards to Fang Zhao's composition, lyrics were secondary. The composition was what attracted people. Therefore, she did not find any issue with the lyrics and hence paid no heed. It was only after the lyrics generated much buzz on the internet that it caught her attention.
"The company plans to keep this matter under tight wraps to deal with the matter. Therefore, whatever the meaning of the third movement, please do not divulge any information. For the time being, do not give an explanation online regarding the lyrics of the third movement," Duan Quanji emphasized in a serious tone.
"Don't worry about it." Fang Zhao laughed as he continued, "Even I do not know what it means."
'...' Duan Qianji thought to herself, Is he messing with me?!
"I heard it before and felt that it suited this part, so I decided to use it. As for the meaning, I can't help you there," Fang Zhao said.
After the end of days, many dialects and languages went extinct. When Fang Zhao had been composing the score, he remembered the words and sounds he'd heard during the all-out war. Some were farewells to family and friends, and others were the roars of battle cries. The people they came from no longer existed. Fang Zhao did not know what they meant, but when he was composing, the words came to him as he was writing the score. Thus, during recording, he then instructed Pang Pusong on how to sing them.
Duan Qianji just stared at Fang Zhao, seemingly finding it hard to speak.
She had no way of understanding what went through the mind of a talented and eccentric artist.
Perhaps only such a person could produce such astonishing music.
"Cough… That's settled, then. Now for the second matter." Duan Qianji scrutinized the expressions on Fang Zhao's face as she said, "'Mission' belonged to Silver Wing Media and the rights were given to Yanzhou Military's publicity division; we did not charge them a single cent."
Although the matter of entrusting the rights of the third movement to the military had already been discussed with Fang Zhao and he had given his approval, Duan Qianji still felt the need to explain the situation clearly to Fang Zhao. From the looks of it, Fang Zhao was still young and might not have thought things through and instead held back his misgivings. Duan Qianji did not want such a promising talent to the company harboring any doubts.
"Of course, it was not entirely free, in a sense. We managed to obtained quite a bit of privileges, some that cannot be bought." Duan Qianji watched Fang Zhao's expression and behavior closely as she spoke. Yet from the start, Fang Zhao had projected an image of cool and calm, as if the two were just engaged in idle gossip.
Duan Quanji had been overthinking things. Fang Zhao was not really fazed by this matter. He had already given his approval. All he had wanted was for the few compositions of his to see the light of day. Profit-wise, it was just not as great as the previous installments.
Also, Fang Zhao believed that, as a business person, Duan Quanji knew best how to receive the most profit. Thus, he was not worried about losing out. Duan Quanji would also not have any shortage of cash, and receiving privileges, as she'd mentioned, could not be bought easily.
"There are some things that I am not liable to tell you, but I can tell you this." Duan Quanji chuckled. "Other than privileges, I took the opportunity to obtain ten positions for you. Military positions."
In the New Era, there were some things that were unavoidable. Military conscription was one. There were different types of soldiers, different divisions, and different vocations. Some would be assigned to a certain squadron and sent to a remote planet to mine for resources, whereas other positions might require doing simple administrative work in a city without the need for active duty.
Duan Qianji saw that this had piqued Fang Zhao's interest and continued, "I have checked up on the Polar Light production team. The others completed their military service during their time at university. Fang Zhao, only you have not completed the mandatory service. When you decide to enlist, you can select a posting they have given—pick one that has rather light duties and even lets you stay in Qi'an. During that one year of military service, you can continue to compose your music without many disturbances. Of these types of postings, I have obtained ten!"
This was her preferential treatment toward Fang Zhao and a chance to do him a favour.

Both Arash and Hana were asleep at the same time; although they were separated by time and space. These soulmates not just synced in their likes and dislikes; even their consciousness turned off at the same moment.

However, both have different experience through the night; Arash's sleep was disturbed by their little baby daughter's intermittent sobbing while Hana's sleep was so smooth; she was smiling in her sleep.

She dreamt that all her experiences were a dream and she was laughingly retelling the story to Arash and their eldest daughter while she was feeding their baby at breakfast. Everyone was having a good time.

However, all good things must come to end. As morning came by, she suddenly opened her eyes and she was greeted with the inky darkness mixed with the earthy smell of her cave dwelling. When she realizes that all was nothing but a dream, her eyes misted as a few tears streaked down from the corner of her eyes.

Kuro, the ever loyal little pet was by her side looking at her worriedly. It slithered to her face and rubbed his cheek at Hana's cheek, carefully avoiding his horn, lest he might hurt his mommy.

"I'm okay. Don't worry." Hana breathed in a few times to steady herself and rubbed Kuro's head dotingly. She wiped away the tears streaking down her face while switching on the torchlight function on her smartphone.

Kuro slithered off to the side and started its daily training with its electricity diligently. Hana focused on her pet's training for a short while and exclaimed admiringly in her heart. The little one had improved a lot. It was not long until it could display its prowess as Hana's personal charger.

Hana moved her sight towards her second pet and found it lying lazily at the usual place. She shook her head and wonder when this fluffy one would stop resisting her advances.

She stretched her stiff body a little. Ah..it's already morning again...is it the fourth day already?

Hana finally remembered what was wrong from yesterday. She had forgotten to contact her hubby before she went to sleep!

She panicked and quickly opened the chatting app to load for Arash's messages. As she left her smartphone on the special spot, she went about making a small fire as soon as possible. She can't always depend on her smartphone for a light source. 

Hana contemplated for a moment on a solution for this as her deft hands busily rubbing a piece of dried wood to light her tinders. 

[When I have time, I need to find some beeswax to make some candles.] Candle making wasn't that complicated as long as she had the main ingredients at hand.

But the real issue was how to obtain beeswax without angering its inhabitants?

Well, the naive aunty had not thought about it yet. It was super easy to purchase some from the craft store before, so it didn't occur to her it was going to be the nightmare of her life if she attempted her idea later.

A short while later, Hana's small fire was lighted at its usual spot. Hana went over to her vertically standing filters and observed for a while. They looked stable. The water accumulated also looked crystal clear.

Hana took some water to gargle away the unpleasant feel in her mouth and went over the cave door/window to spit the water out. She rubbed Shiro's head as she moved past her second aloof pet.

The disgusted water splashed a little into Shiro's eye. It unhappily rubbed its eye using its white furry paw. It flexed its claws out unintentionally from annoyance but keep it back after being stared down threateningly by the black snake, as if daring it to make a move.

As usual, oblivious to the internal strife between her two pets, Hana gingerly took the rest of the water collected from the filters and filled them into a closed bamboo canister. She placed it diagonally beside the fire to let the water inside boiled before she had the courage to drink it.

While she waited for her filtered water to boil, she grabbed two bananas and a pack of 3 in 1 instant teh tarik(1). She chomped them down while checking her smartphone for Arash's messages.

Surprisingly, after the initial loving greetings, he had not spammed the chatbox. Hana knew Arash must've known she forgot again and patiently waited for her response.

Hana adjusted her face's angle, centralized her irises and made a puffy monkey cheek to make a funny face. She called for Kuro to pose together with her and snapped an interesting comedic wefie for Arash. She habitually sent over the picture, knowing it would fail. 

It uploaded sluggishly like a snail, pausing intermittently for a long time. Hana just ignored the uploading process as usual and continued messaging her hubby about her day yesterday after she apologized.

She shared her plan on the rack she was going to build today for the three filters and Arash's opinion on it.  

Today she needed to complete the filter rack, ferry back those extra bamboo canisters and check on her fish trap. She truly hoped to get some fish. It wasn't easy eating the same thing day in day out.

After she finished pouring out her heart into the chatting app, she waited and waited, but Arash's reply wasn't coming in.

[Is he taking revenge for yesterday?] Hana was sure her hubby was not a petty person. 

[Maybe he was busy with the kids and all.] Hana convinced herself cheerily.

She decided to return early today and messaged Arash again before she started on the permanent filter rack building.

She left her smartphone on the Internet spot and when over to her stash of things. While flipping through her notepad, she went through her objectives as usual and updated her inventory list. She needed to prepare well today before going out. She can't afford to make the same mistake again.

She didn't realize the goofy wefie of her and Kuro was successfully uploaded!

Arash's were awake quite late today. When he woke up, he saw their first daughter cooing her agitated baby sister.

"It's okay. It's okay. Shhhh...shhh.." She patted her baby sister's butt in a rhythmic motion gently like how Hana used to do. The agitated little one drifted back to sleep after a few minutes of whimpering. She was still sleepy.

"Pity Papa. He is very tired. You're a good girl right? Right? Mama's not here, but I'm here." She caressed her little sister's head affectionately.

"Mama said, if one day mama is gone, I must take care of Papa and you." She planted a light kiss on her little sister's forehead.

Arash was touched by his five year old daughter's sensibility. 

[Our daughter had grown up so fast ayang...]

When his girl realized her papa was awake, she excitedly jumped on him and urged him up.

"Come on papa! I got something to show you! We got a message from mama!" His daughter whispered audibly beside his ears. Both of them tiptoed together to the living room. Last night, when Arash was awake a couple of times, he had move to sleep beside his daughters.

Once there, the excited girl took her papa's smartphone on the coffee table and leaped on his lap. In front of Arash's unbelievable eyes, his daughter expertly typed in his smartphone's password and navigated towards the chatting app.

[Kids these days are amazing!] He lamented. When he was at this age, he was just a snotty brat who loved to climb trees. There're no such things as gadgets. He enjoyed video games when he was slightly older; it was in his primary years (2).

"How did you know how to open Papa's phone?" Arash was curious. He never taught his daughter his password.

"Mommy teach one (3). She said if got migincy (4) can use phone one. See Papa, I even know how to call you." She answered proudly.

[I knew it.] Arash chuckled. He usually helped his daughter open the kid's educational game app all this while. He never knew his help was not needed.

"Papa, papa! Lookie here! Mama funny face with cute little thing. What is this Papa?" His girl showed Arash his smartphone.

Arash was astonished!

A picture was delivered from the other side!

As he observed the not-so-nice looking face his wife made for him, his gaze drifted to the menacing black entity beside Hana.

His hair stood up and goosebumps appeared. The sleek black reptile was circling its body around Hana's neck while a foot of its upper body lingered very near to Hana's cheek. The silver horn was like a unicorn's, but sharp and threatening. The eyes look evil. The forked tongue was even touching Hana's cheek! Sharp teeth were seen from the half opened mouth. The snake looked really dangerous! Not at all adorable as what Hana used to tell him every single day!

Arash didn't know that was Kuro's attempt at making a goofy smile to accommodate his mommy's urging.

"Papa, papa, papa! You okay? What animal is that?" His daughter's urging broke Arash's reverie.

Arash cleared his throat, "Ehem, it's a snake sweetie."

"Really? Why did it have a horn then?" His daughter asked confusedly.

"It's a special breed one."

"Ah!" As if was struck by an epiphany, his cheeky little daughter showed a comprehending look.

"It was so cute! Papa, I want one!"

Arash sweated with his daughter's twisted understanding of cute.

[Like mother, like daughter.]

Unbeknownst to Arash, his daughter had accidentally forwarded the picture to his wife's family chat group on a different chatting apps while she was fiddling with the phone.

A shocking picture was sent to 'Family Ribena' (5) group by Mem Shaza's son-in-law, Arash. 

It was the picture of Hana dying as she was being attacked by an exotic never-been-seen dangerous-looking black snake. 

The chat group burst into a frenzy of messages by Hana's mother, brothers and sisters. She had come from a big family.

A lot of them were worried about Hana as they realized that they had not seen her reply in their chatgroup a single time in the past four days. While others believed she was pranking them. Before, they had assumed she might have used her hubby's phone to reply for both of them (she did that a lot of time). The replies were short and perfunctory; as if Hana and Arash were super busy with something.

When the chat group finally calmed down, the participants realized Arash nor Hana didn't reply a single time to their questions. This elevated their worry to an unprecedented level. Mem Shaza (6) tried to phone her daughter, but only receiving an out-of-service notification. She then tried calling her son-in-law. However, because everyone was trying to do the same thing, the calls clashed with each other and none came through.

Another reason was, the cheeky daughter of theirs had unassumingly muted Arash's smartphone while she was playing with it before. With the incoming of multiple calls and Arash's forgetfulness to charge his phone, the already low battery smartphone on the coffee table finally switched off without any of them knowing.

At that exact time, Arash was busy cooking a simple chicken porridge for both of his girls. After an awkward moment of mutilating the poor bird into pieces, he transferred all of the meat pieces into a boiling pot of water. 

He remembered, Hana said to put in a slice of ginger and a few cloves of garlic to remove the chickeny smell(7). Some carrots and cauliflower were a must to make it a balanced meal. When everything was boiling nicely, then add some washed uncooked rice.

He was thinking, how much rice should he put in? Feeling confused, he just added one small cup of washed rice into the simple chicken soup. 

After everything was done, he let the porridge simmered under the lowest fire and washed his hands. 

"Who wants to bathe raise up your hands!" Arash jokingly asked her daughter while hanging the apron at its intended place. 

Raising up her hands enthusiastically, she elatedly said, "Me! Me! Me!" while jumping up and down.

A crying sound came from the bedroom.

[Just in time.]

Both of them held hands and went to the bedroom together to fetch the little one before going to the bathroom.

As the porridge simmered gently, Arash was monitoring the kids playing with bubbles in their respective tubs while remaining oblivious to the storm brewing in the chat group.

(5) Family Ribena = "Ribena" is actually not a real family name. Attaching 'Ribena' to a name brought the meaning 'childish' as it is named after a kiddy drink by the same name (its a berry grape-y flavor drink very popular with kids).
(6) Mem Shaza = "Mem" is a shortform of 'Madam' used generally when shown respect to an elder (woman) who's usually very imposing. "Shaza" is an arabic name. The Malay ethnic in Malaysia used Arabic names to name their kids, very rarely they would use Malaysian language.
(7) chikeny smell = this one was self invented by us haha. There's a raw chicken smell that's not so nice lingering in porridge if one didn't cancel it out with ginger. That's also the reason why most cooking use ginger in many kinds of dishes.

Oh yes, let us write down the meaning of the names according to appearance;
(1) Hana = (Arabic: boundless rezki/sustenance), (Japanese: flower), (Korean: No.1)
(2) Arash = (Arabic: a figurative 'throne' where God stood while observing His subjects)
(3) Shaza = (Arabic: fragrant)

Meet Hana, a not-so young clumsy housewife, who got lost in a different world when she stepped out for a short grocery shopping session. How can this aunty survive without skills or even a 'golden finger'? What actually can a housewife do besides cooking and cleaning? There's nobody around at all, so she can't even scheme. The playful bullet comments on the screen were unending. Ren Suo skipped all the way to the end of the video to see that the Seeker was still walking in the forest. However, she had been walking on unpaved ground and in a short time span of two hours, her feet had already been cut and pricked by the thorns and stones on the ground.
Ren Suo quickly skimmed through the video parts and found that the Seeker spent the entire day on the 3rd of April walking through the forest and crossing the mountains. Although the ground was relatively flat throughout, the forest itself was no easy place to traverse on foot.
However, what was unbelievable was that the Seeker had not taken any rest for the entire day!
She did not eat or rest!
And naturally, she did not empty her bowels either...
Ren Suo viewed a few other Ps from later on, and noticed that there were bullet comments at the beginning of each P, saying: "There is no peeing scene in this P, please go to the next P."

On the morning of the 4th of April, the slim Seeker finally met some people—as she ran on the mountainous grounds, a few teenagers who were herding sheep and cows appeared in the scene.
It was obvious that the group of teenagers were shocked yet excited when they saw the Seeker run past them. They were shouting and waving their arms in the distance, but no one could understand what they were saying until a bullet comment said:
"They are most likely Kamiyans from the Tedamia mountainous region who are speaking the Kamiyan language. See page 221 of the comments section for more details."
Ren Suo read in the comments section:
"The Kamiyans live on the two ends of the Tedamia mountainous region. Most of them live in Ni'er while a small minority live in Xuan Nation and Kong Que Nation. Kamiyans have their own ethnic culture and language. They lived deep within the forests amongst the mountains isolated from the rest of the world until people from around the world began their quest to conquer the Hyjal mountain peak. The Kamiyans were called the 'Porters of Tedamia' as they helped many groups of people around the world to reach the Jomolungma peak by giving them directions or being their porters."

The peak was 10,230 meters above sea level. The mountain itself was pyramidal-shaped and known as the backbone of the world.
The word "Hyjal" referred to being "holy and ever-lasting" in ancient Xuan language. The Hyjal peak, which remained covered in snow all year round, was part of the beliefs of the mountain people who lived in the Western region of ancient Xuan Nation and had been an object of awe and spectacularity to people ever since a very long time ago.
In the modern context, as the world's highest point, the Hyjal peak had become one of the peaks mountaineers of expedition groups around the world seek to conquer. Although there are other mountain peaks that had more treacherous and challenging hikes, reaching the Hyjal peak would signify that one had conquered the world; one would have the entire world under one's feet!

Xu Hailin looked like she was from the rural villages, but when she spoke, her sentences were filled with euphemisms. Yu Kuangtu shrugged and said, "Alright, alright. I don't want to waste any more of your time, so watch the remaining over two hours of the highlights video clip at home. We still have to discuss after all of you have finished watching it...But for now, you all may leave first."
Without waiting for the rest to stand up, Yu Kuangtu continued, "Finish watching the video at home and note down the extraordinary traits of the girl and any suspicious points. Hand your findings to Wang Qingyu by 9.30 a.m. before work tomorrow."
Everyone sighed and said, "Why do we still have homework..."

He carefully drew up the little muscles that composed the entirety of his lips. Just enough to qualify as a smile, but too little to be 'actual' happiness. He directed his eyebrow to twitch and fall just a slight bit lower. In the end, it formed the expression of irritation and calm. He preferred oxymorons, in contrast with the rest of the figurative language spectrum. The beauty of controlled chaos... The irony of a deliberate mistake...

It was a kind of rotten purity all by itself.

It seemed like he took a little too long to answer, as the white haired man started to itch his neck of all things.

"Yes, I would be the brat you are speaking of," He looked at Kurogiri's relative position and came to a understanding. "I assume that you are the leader around here, then? Sensei's protege that he spoke of? It's a pleasure to meet you." He finished off his performance with a fake smile that looked true and genuine.

Despite the very small gaps that existed in his ensemble of hands, it was actually quite clear to see when his eye widened in anger.

"...Why are you calling him, Sensei? Why does your scrawny little weak ass think that you can call him Sensei?!"

He seemed to feed off the anger in his own words, as he slowly inched closer, with his many hands primed and ready. Like a little cub intimidating a big lion- most likely Sensei- he strode forward with a deliberate clang in his step. He projected his killing intent into the world, but the thing about killing intent was this; it leaned heavily on comparison. If you were able to withstand the murderous intentions of a beast, then it was natural that you would be able to withstand the intent of a cub. Only in the case of a change in quality or quantity would the other beast be able to frighten him.  But no matter how much the cub tried to be the lion, it hadn't grown up enough yet. Mentally or physically.

"As to why I can call him Sensei, there is a reason to that."

"Spit it out."

"Like I was saying, Sensei implicitly spoke to me on that very subject. More specifically, he said I could call him Sensei."

The words seemed to have diffused most of the man-child's anger, but a sliver of anger still existed. A fraction of madness that lay stabbed deep within the heart itself. It was evidenced by the slightest crease of a brow, and the faint indecipherable glean in his wine-like eyes.

'It seems that I've managed to piss off the boss of this whole operation so easily. How quaint. Why does All for One put him in charge? Perhaps it could be his quirk... How any one person can affect the number 1 hero is doubtful though. I need to reevaluate All for One if white-hair was put in place for strategic purposes... I'm still missing something. Something big.'

"If I may ask, what are the organization's current goals?"

The answer came back immediately.

"Kill the useless piece of trash that is All Might!"

'He definitely doesn't seem like the strategic type... It sounds like a personal grudge, which could provide some interesting twists.'

"How are we going to achieve that? Do you have any plans?"

Kurogiri who was staying silent up until now, opened his mouth and answered instead of the white haired man.

"We are currently in the process of recruiting. With more manpower-"

'Could they be planning what I think they're planning.. No, it couldn't be. All for One would get competent subordinates. I can only probe.'

Deku simply looked Kurogiri dead in the eye and asked a simple question.

"You want to kill the world's greatest hero relying simply on human wave tactics? I simply cannot see the possibility of that working out."

"You're saying that getting more people on board is wrong?"

'He's not wrong but... There's more to it than that.'

Deku let his gaze wonder, until he found a rather nice (ripped up) poster of All Might.

"Of course not, the deciding factor of wars is never the tactics," He took a step forward. "It's not the strategies, either," He was right in front of the poster now. "It's always the numbers that get the win in the end. One man will drown if ten thousand others spit. But, you are forgetting one thing."

Kurogiri's 'eyes' were barely visible slits of light, and the white haired man looked like he wanted t0 kill him immediately, but Deku simply continued to talk. His face was as placid as a stone, his eyes were as still as a frozen lake, his entire being radiated calmness. Perhaps that was what made them stay their hand. A lion grazing out in the prairie was not to be despaired: they were predictable, out in the open, and could be avoided. A viper on the other hand... They hide in the grass, in the shadows. They struck out when their target was least aware, and it was always lethal.

"You are forgetting that All Might isn't the only hero that exists. Even if you gathered a big army the likes of which the world has ever seen, All Might isn't without his either. A single call from the World's beloved Symbol of Peace will gather heroes from all over the world like moths to a flame. And what do you need when armies are of similar size? You need tactics. Strategies."

"You need long-term plans," He strode to the side to grab a dart off the table.

"You need me."

The dart hit the middle of All Might's forehead.

Roland was slightly bummed after he read that.
Then, the guy sent another message. "But you can at least narrow it down to a certain group of people. The criminal was very calm. He should be calm and addicted to clothes collection."

Roland thanked him. He was also surprised at the guy who played an immersive game at such an old age. It was quite impressive.
Roland calmed down as he read other replies. His anger was not gone, but had been temporarily buried.
After breakfast, Roland went to the boxing club to practice.
It had been almost a month since he joined the club. Now that he was familiar with the basic moves, he had started practicing with the coach several days ago.
As they practiced, the coach called a stop and stared at him in a strange way, "You are slightly aggressive today."
Briefly dazed, Roland took off his gloves and said, "Something happened."
"Don't let it bother you." The coach looked at Roland and said, "You are very talented. If you practice, I will be no match for you in two months. However, talented people tend to be sharp-edged. One-third of my fellows were in jail once, one-third constantly fought with others, and only the last one third live a peaceful life."
"Thank you," said Roland sincerely. Then he asked with curiosity, "So, you're among the last third?"
"No, I'm among the first." The coach smiled bitterly. "That's how I know that you have few opportunities to change your life once you're put in jail. Even your family will be affected. My nephew failed his vetting because of his relationship with me. He had a good chance!"
The coach appeared lonely under the light. "I'm sorry for him."
"Young people should be prudent." The coach patted Roland's shoulder and said, "Sometimes, your mistakes will haunt you for the rest of your life."
Roland was silent.
He returned home in the afternoon. He checked the forum and found a lot of tips given by players who asked him to find and execute the criminal.
Roland smiled and entered the game at ten that night.
He waited for several minutes in the monochrome space, then time flowed again in the game world.
Roland stared at the couple who were filled with tears of joy. He said to Betta, "You'll protect the girl for the next couple of days in case the criminal asks for trouble. Also, when the girl is awake, ask her if she saw the criminal."
"Why don't you protect the girl and let me investigate the criminal?"
"Because your charm is higher than mine," said Roland casually. "And my intelligence is higher than yours."
Betta was lost for words.
Roland did not investigate the criminal after he left the temple. Instead, he returned to Lamb Girl and locked himself in his room, focusing on Language Proficiency.
He had a lot of feelings after the conversation with the coach.
He was only one final step from grasping Language Proficiency. He felt that he was close to success.
After witnessing the disgusting crime scene, saving the girl, and talking to the coach, he felt that his abilities had been improved.
It was not about his attributes, but about his control of his mind.
He found it easier to control his emotions now.
He practiced Language Proficiency again and again, not frustrated by the failures. He would rest when his head hurt, and continue when the pain was gone.
From morning to noon, and from noon to night, he never stopped.
He simply focused on magic.
Finally, when night was about to fall, he successfully cast Language Proficiency for the first time.
The thirty-seven nodes connected perfectly.
"You've learned level-two spell 'Language Proficiency.' EXP +445. You've reached LV4."
Reading the message, Roland slowly stood up.
