The interview question was out.

Everyone looked at Zhang Ye, wondering how he was to answer. He had to follow up on a tough poem that had previously gone in Chinese language textbooks, Wang Shuixin's most famous poem, "Everything".

Zhang Ye did not speak for a long while.

"Everything"? Why did it sound so familiar?

He was sure that he had heard this poem somewhere, but he could not remember it clearly. Hence, he said, "Can I have some water?"

"Yes." Wang Shuixin turned his head.

An interviewer threw a bottle of mineral water to Zhang Ye.

Zhang Ye used the time to drink the water and opened his game ring and bought a "Memory Search Capsule". He closed his eyes, pretending to be in thought. In fact, he had swallowed the capsule while drinking water. He was searching the memories in his brain, and finally Zhang Ye opened his eyes. He had found his memory and had finally remembered why this poem sounded so familiar!

What the f**k!

Wasn't this Bei Dao's "Everything"!?

However, there were some slight differences!

For example in his world, Bei Dao had written, "Every fate is destined. Every cloud is fleeting. Every beginning is without an ending. Every search is brief." 

As for Wang Shuixin's poem, it was "Everything is fated. Everything is unreal. Everything has no end. Everything has no home to return to." It may look different, but the format and meaning were about the same. The core idea was similar. One of the lines, "Every faith comes with longing", was identical in both poems. There was not a single word different!

This world also had something similar to "Everything"?

However, there was no Bei Dao, but it was written by Wang Shuixin?

This was not surprising either. The two worlds’ cultural backgrounds weren't much different. The Four Great Classical Novels, such as Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Water Margin, still existed. Maybe it was because the Four Great Classical Novels had too strong of an effect ingrained in the country, so there was no way of changing it. So it was not modified by the game ring. Then it was pretty normal to have similar literature works from both worlds.  Of course, they were just similar. In Zhang Ye's world, Bei Dao was a very famous poet. In terms of text and profoundness, Zhang Ye clearly believed Bei Dao's "Everything" was much more excellent than Wang Shuixin's “Everything"!

This was the topic?

Zhang Ye laughed, for he could not control himself.

Bei Dao's "Everything" was considered quite famous, but the reason why Zhang Ye did not remember it to the point of needing to use the Memory Search Capsule to search his memories for it was because there was another poem that was more famous. It was written as a retort to Bei Dao's "Everything". It had completely negated Bei Dao's work, hence Zhang Ye and the people from his world had a deeper impression of that poem and had forgotten about Bei Dao's "Everything". Even if people from his world mentioned "Everything", it was to use it as a reference or backstory. It was as if "Everything" existed just to accentuate the other poem. Hence, no matter how well it was written, and had cried out the lives of people so perfectly, in front of that poem, "Everything" was just a supporting role, and considered a sidekick. It could only be hidden under a shade!

"Are you done?" a woman urged.

"Can you begin?" a young interviewer was also turning impatient.

Seeing that Zhang Ye did not speak for so long, Hu Fei guessed that Zhang Ye was unable to follow up. He sighed in his heart. Zhang Ye had low odds of success, and it would have been impossible for him to be accepted by the Leader. Wang Shuixin's attitude was very clear. Now, by not being able to answer the interview question, the chances of hiring him were close to nil. 

However, Hu Fei's love for talent was very deep. He was still trying his best to help Zhang Ye fight for it, "Director Wang. Little Zhang is still young, so no matter how much talent he has, he can't compare to you. This question is indeed quite difficult. Shall we change a topic and let Little Zhang have freedom to express a poem?"

"Brother Hu, " a female interviewer said, "then what's the point of an interview? Anyone can write something freely. That's not ability."

And since you appreciate this youth so much, I'm testing him this time. So I purposely used my poem to let him follow up. First, it's to see if he really can compose on the spot, and secondly, to see if Little Zhang really has as much literary skill as people say."

Hu Fei said, "But to follow up on a classic poem that even entered language textbooks, Little Zhang will..."

Wang Shuixin waved his hand to stop Hu Fei from continuing. He looked at Zhang Ye, "It's alright, Little Zhang. Take your time to think; there's no hurry. Hur Hur. At your age, you might not have heard this poem. When you were in high school, the materials for your language class might not have included "Everything". If you did not catch everything, I can recite it to you again."

A youth volunteered, "Since you already recited it once, why don't you let me, Director Wang?"

"Alright, Little Xu, you do it. Hur Hur." Wang Shuixin was in a good mood. He had been doing administrative work all these years, so for him to once again display his literary works was a rare event. Seeing Zhang Ye remaining silent, and his subordinates looking at him with admiration and respect, Wang Shuixin was very pleased.

The other interviewers and the youth completely ignored Zhang Ye. They knew that it was impossible for Zhang Ye to follow up on the poem. The only reason that they were still in here to interview Zhang Ye was to kiss ass and flatter the Leader. They wanted to see with their own eyes how their Leader defeated Zhang Ye, a newcomer who had been praised for his poetry. Besides, even without the flattering factor, Director Wang did have the absolute ability!

Zhang Ye? A newcomer!

Compared to Director Wang, what was he!?

He wanted to compete with Wang Shuixin in literature and poetry? Wasn't this do something beyond his ability!?

Director Wang's "Everything" came about due to his using all his senses to come into maximum contact with the pulse of life. He had used his critical perspective to inspect the interpersonal moral and ethical relations, as well as the sparks that arose when people clashed. He had also subconsciously pondered above love, freedom, joy, suffering, hope and death, which were all common factors of human life. It was one of the best modern poems, and could be said that he had written a poem of such a genre at its peak. Zhang Ye wanted to use the literary insight from "Everything" as a topic to exceed "Everything"? That was impossible!

Well, but it was not that the poem did not have its flaws. If one wanted to pick faults with it, it was probably the reason why it was eventually removed from the language textbooks. The poem was too dark and oppressive. There was no hope in it. This was also why "Everything" was criticized by some people. But the flaws could not obscure the splendor it possessed. This poem was still enjoying a relatively high status in the poetry world. It could be considered a "pessimism" masterpiece.

"Let me recite it, while you listen well." the youth said to Zhang Ye.

Zhang Ye ignored him, and already had his plans.

The youth frowned. You even turned haughty? Just because you were praised to the skies by people who did not know literature, you already forgot who you were? Wang Shuixin squinted his eyes as he listened to his poem.

The other interviewers again revealed their reverence. Their mouths moved gently, as if they were tasting the poem, and were also reciting it along with the youth.

The youth carried on, "Every happiness doesn't come with a smile. Every suffering.."

But suddenly, a scene no one expected happened. Zhang Ye opened his vocal cords and interrupted the youth, who was having a good time reciting, rudely!

Zhang Ye shook his head, "Not every tree has been broken off by the storm; Not every seed cannot find soil to root; Not every true feeling is lost in the deserts of human hearts; Not every dream wishes to be cut off at its wings. No, not everything... is like what you said!"

Hu Fei gasped. This...This poem...

Wang Shuixin and the other 7-8 interviewers were stunned!

Zhang Ye looked at Director Wang and then at a few interviewers, then began stressing his words, "Not every torch is burning itself, but not illuminating others; Not every star indicates darkness, but does not predict the dawn; Not every song passes through the ears, but does not stay in the hearts. No, not everything... is like what you said!"

The second paragraph was also out!

It was another massive parallelism! His tone also grew stronger!

Wang Shuixin's expression instantly looked ugly, but he made no sound!

However, Hu Fei got a kick hearing this. He clenched his fists and was so excited that he wanted to stand up to cheer for Zhang Ye. This was the first time that he had such a bright smile on his face. He was happy for Zhang Ye and also happy for himself. He had not evaluated Zhang Ye wrongly! He was really a remarkable talent of the age!

Zhang Ye scanned everyone with his eyes and purposely paused before reciting the last paragraph. For this paragraph, he wiped off the solemnity and seriousness, and changed it to that of a smile. There was even mockery in his smile, "Not every appeal has been dismissed; Not every loss cannot be compensated; Not every abyss is death; Not every grief lands on the heads of the weak; Not every heart and soul are to be stepped on and buried in the mud; Not every consequence is blood and tears, but without mirth!"

"Everything in the present is creating the future!"

"Everything in the future is grown from yesterday."

"Hope, and to fight for it, please put all of them on your shoulders!"

The last shout was Zhang Ye saying it to Wang Shuixin, and could also be him saying it to himself!

Everything was darkness? Everything was suffering? Every success was accompanied by tears and sorrow?

Be it Bei Dao's "Everything" or Wang Shuixin's "Everything", Zhang Ye could not agree with them!

He knew that many people hated him, or had a grudge with him or disliked him. In the nick of time, Dassah Quinn together with her language teacher halted outside of a common classroom. The door was liberally unlatched; the inward of the area filled with a dim light as Dassah's hair color.

Anxiety slammed the system of Dassah, as the lady surmised that she stumbled across the ordinary area nearly less than three days ago.

Ma'am Azuela patted the juvenile's shoulder, and calmly spoke. "Stay here. I'll call you when it's your moment to shine. Okay?"

Stopped dead, the young lass left no capacity to reply and stayed stiff on her posture. The subject educator moved forth to the classroom, wore her signature smile, and sweetly greeted to her loving learners.

"Good morning, Borges."

"Good morning, Ma'am Azuela. We are honored to have a lesson with you this day. Mabuhay!" the section warmly welcomed.

Thereafter the exchanging of their courteous salutation, Ma'am Rhea Azuela settled the senior high schoolers on their particular armchairs. 

Counting them one by one, she convinced herself they were all attending; anyone didn't aim to be absent nor to sneak out.

"So, I have invited a student from section Yeats. And, she would love to share her written poetry to you..."

Heeding her teacher, Dassah growled. She inwardly crushed and spat at Ma'am Azuela into a flaky dust in her imaginative brain. How dare she could utter such nonsense? Missing out of her approval, Ma'am Azuela basically dragged her to convey the fricking-hideous-and-unpleasant paper to her batchmates.

"...And, mind you. She barely produced it in a range of thirty minutes." 

The juvenile entities wowed on what they heard from Ma'am Rhea. In less than an hour, the lady managed to compose her craft; she definitely had a talent for generating literary works.

Unbelievable.

"Without further ado, let me call on Miss Dassah Quinn to showcase her masterpiece to us."

Ma'am Rhea glimpsed at the threshold, and gestured the girl who was nervously shaking her hands and lurking outside to enter in. The teenager took a deep breath and began to step foot in the area.

"Here goes nothing," Dassah whispered to herself.

She eventually seized the whole stage and exuded a counterfeit confidence in her. Couple of eyes and ears directed to her in an anticipation of listening to beautiful poetry from her sealed mouth. 

Dassah breathed again for a while, and stole a glance at the young lad by the name of Salvatore Martin. Their sights locked up as if a coil which wrapped them up.

Just as soon as she would finish her speech, Miss Quinn wished to be devoured by the ground for some substantial reason. 

The woman then introduced herself to the crowd, "Good day everyone, I am Dassah Quinn from Yeats. And, I'm here to share with you a poem, entitled, 24/7 Shop."

She glimpsed at her paper and commenced her discourse.

"Standing by my sitting place,
I dreamed of a blissful case.
I sipped on my cup of coffee,
And pondered, "What'll the future be?"

Behold, a doting couple took the entryway.
I ought to seek their miraculous sparkling ray.
I, myself, gaped at the portrait of a woman's loving gaze.
"Is it how affection behave towards a mere dame?"

And lo, a fair-looking man stumbled upon the store,
With his wee brother, oh how adorable he bore.
I laid my eyes onto the man and I fainly realized.
He and I would one day meet up in our precious paradise."

As she ended her poem, she gazed at the man whom she had referring to her writing, and glowed in her joy which Salvi only took a notice.

The class of Borges gave tremendous applause to Dassah Quinn's speech.

Despite her being a shameless woman who shouted and name-called the class president before, the section Borges unanimously couldn't withhold that the flamboyant jet black-haired woman in front of them was utterly promising in the field of literature.

Ma'am Rhea genuinely smiled at her courageous student. Deeming it was an on-the-spot presentation, Dassah perfectly presented it and hit the nail on the head.

"Miss Dassah. Thank you so much for giving the Borges a chance to hear your poem. The message is so sincere I can't reckon myself a teen as you can create something wonderful." she confessed.

Dassah mentally rolled her eyes at her language educator. Ma'am Azuela was indeed manipulating her through flattery and praises circulating out from the old woman. The female student let out a fake grin on her face to show. Wanting to part her way, she pointed her thumb at the opening and meekly queried. "Ma'am, may I go now?"

"Oh yes. Sure. Again, thank you, Miss Quinn." Ma'am Azuela said; Dassah scurried herself to the exit, and exhaled.

She was merrily free from bondage. 

There were no more talks and pressure applied on her marbles. 

Departing, the young lady hearkened a familiar voice of a man.

"M-Ma'am," the young lad called, raising his hand.

"Yes, Mister Salvi?"

Dassah automatically paused, and went back to the doorway, and hid herself. 

She carefully peered at the sideway, and listened, marveling what Salvi would tell after she begone from the classroom. "Are we also going to speak what the girl do?"

"Correct," she said, and the students were shocked and groaned. Nonetheless, Ma'am Azuela didn't suppose to let them perform as of the moment. Clearly, their works weren't as invincible as Dassah Quinn's craft. 

It wasn't because she underestimated their abilities. Ma'am Rhea previously perused various pieces from their section, yet anyone couldn't pass to her subjective standard.

Her fondness in literature beats her. She believed every literary piece should have a story to tell, and a deep meaning to it.

Yet, the students of Borges took it lightly. They treated it as a mandatory job. 

Upon these terms, the neglective beings couldn't care less if they composed a crappy craft which was why she would grant the filthy students homework to improve it.

The bad news was they still perpetrated it as a norm.

"Uh... Ma'am, may I recite my poem to my classmates?" Salvatore asked.

Ma'am Rhea came to be amazed. Out of the thirty-five students, there was one who would propose to read his work. 

Even if she would hear another gibberish writing, she would endure it. Besides, a courageous man had no fear to do what he wanted to fulfill.

Ma'am Rhea glowed, and nodded, "Alright. Come up on stage, and I'll give you the floor to talk. And, a plus point for volunteering."

Salvatore then grabbed his pad from his school bag, seeking for the paper. Finally, he went on stage and mustered the strength to voice out his penned paper.

He started up introducing himself and moved forward to read his assignment. "Friend of mine."

"Jet black hair was flaunting willingly onto her shoulder back.
Her mouth's forming into an arched bow, desiring to attack.
She, who had a contagious lively arrow within her,
Was targeting me as a venomous predator.

Gone were the days when I was a lonesome man,
I, standing alone, was the ominous prime plan.
Seclusion comforted a downright spirit of mine erewhile,
However, slowly, the strategy lingered me for a single mile.

And now, here she was, never putting a warning cue,
Often surfacing up to my cumbrous point of view.
"May I be your friend?" twice, she questioned me.
"Go ahead," I confided, but 'twas my hidden answer key."

Ma'am Rhea certainly clapped her hands as a trace of acknowledgment for her student's exemplary work. 

How come Mister Martin didn't exhibit his capability in composing an art?

"Bravo, Mister Martin. Bravo. I do admire your bravery and your poem." she clapped, and look at the man who was hiding his face onto the paper.

"Ma'am, thanks," Salvi responded, brushing his nape by his right hand. Shyness erupted in his senses. He wasn't used to receiving compliments and acclaims from the people; he himself wasn't certain if they told him the truth, to begin with.

Existed to be nosy, Ma'am Rhea Azuela cheekily asked. "Hmm... Who was this girl you were talking about?"

Salvi then plastered an infectious grin on his face, and asserted his words to his investigative English teacher, "Someone whom I came upon in the 24/7 shop."

At the dormitory.
[9th master, 9th master~ Why haven't you replied? Did you like my poem?~ I want compliments, rewards and kisses~]
There was no reply from the other end after Ye Wanwan sent that text. To play it safe, she had decided to send this to supplement the previous message.
Actually, she felt a little uneasy as she was unsure whether this would work on Si Yehan.
Also, that poem was supposed to be written by guys for their sweethearts.
That guy wouldn't be offended at being treated like a woman and receiving such a mushy confession, would he?

Hi there, author here (◕ᴗ◕✿) I don't know if you will enjoy/are enjoying reading my story, but I hope you do/are. We all have different opinions, I know, and I respect yours. 

Just a simple warning to readers: This is not a story for everyone. If you can't stomach explicit, descriptive (but not really I think ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ) sexual scenes and content, most especially not only one-on-one but with multiple partners, then I suggest against you reading this story. That may be a turn off for you. Don't say I didn't warn you before reading (๑•﹏•)

Also, I am not a writer. I'm only an aspiring author who doesn't really have writing in mind to be my first/primary job. It's just a hobby, and it will probably end at that. I'm also not a native English speaker, and it's not even my second language (counting dialects in my country that sound like entirely different languages with entirely different words and usage), so I can't say my writing quality is good. 

Also, I think that because the story is a first-hand account (or in a first person POV), there is so much more dialogue in place. It's somehow like a semi-script. In addition, I don't know how to write flowery. By that, I mean I don't know how to write my story to be very descriptive and figurative (I meant the use of figurative language e.g. simile, metaphor, etc.). The story is also filled with the thoughts of the MC which is kind of messy. I'm sorry.

I'm also very forgetful. There may be some loose ends in arcs I intended to tie together but was not able to in the end. For that, I'm sorry.

And oh. The intelligence basis is the intelligence of the author, which is low (Gaaa I'm so ashamed (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄   😆). Again, I'm sorry. (≧▽≦)

So a little background why I wrote this... I wanted to write a smut-with-a-story quick transmigration story that's not only about the smut (with multiple partners), but also about the story. Too much usage of the word story, but you know what I mean (≧▽≦) Anyway, I wanted to try that.

But anyway, even though I wanted to give that a try, in the end, I'm still a fan of one-on-one, no? You get what I mean by this, right?


And oh... towards the end of the first arc which I have only recently finished writing, there's not much smut. More on story building. I'm not sure if that's how it'll be for all arcs, but there's a big chance it'll be so.

This is a imaginary story based on the storyline and the adventure. I'm not person who worries to much about figurative language, adjectives, metaphor and those stuffs. What i really want to express is a story of  peoples' action and thoughts, when they are in a interesting situation. How would Mike survive in the burst of a new virus, a virus that turns man into walking dead.

Little Yu's brows unwittingly knitted tightly into a frown. It was most likely someone's randomly written poem trying to use her to boost popularity.
Nevertheless, within a brief moment, the number of people tagging her grew, all pointing at the same poem.
'What poem is this? How did it get so much attention?'
Fueled by her curiosity, she finally decided to check it out.
[Crab is peeling my shell.
The notebook is writing on me.
The sky filled with me lands on the maple leaf and snowflakes.
Yet you're thinking of me.]
'Such a simple poem!'
That was Little Yu's initial impression. Additionally, the writing style came off peculiar. It was childish, and the sentences seemed to be in reverse. Under normal circumstances, it would not be appropriate.
However, weirdly enough, she felt that the poem carried a hidden meaning. Crab, notebook, maple leaf, snowflakes. They all described one emotion—sorrow.
With that sorrowful feeling in mind, she read the poem again. This time, as she read through the verses, the sorrowful feeling deepened. Suddenly, her eyes narrowed, and tears seemed to pour out from her heart, instantly flooding her eyes.
'Reverse!'
'It was in reverse!'
'This is a revolutionary poem!'
She wiped the tears at the corners of her eyes, and read it for the third and fourth time. The emotions grew stronger, and finally, she took a deep breath and started to voice out her views on Weibo.

Very quickly, the comments under Little Yu's post grew. More and more people started following the thread, all of them trying to figure out the meaning behind this poem.
Little Yu paid them no heed but instead continued to type out her insights.
[I believe everyone here have read the poem. Actually, from the beginning to the end, this poem is in reverse. That is to say, the author is writing about a world turned upside down. You can try to read the poem in reverse.]
