Hi, I'm Kryo, a literal beginner in story writing. Heck, I got a "D" in my English class haha. But I digress. After reading the different "fanfics", I have become inspired to write one of my own. And I'm not sure how it'll go.
So buckel up and hold on for what I consider to be the ultimate Fanfic of the century!
At least that what it seem like in my head lol.
Will take place in different fictional universes such as the MCU, Resident Evil, Naruto, Injustice: God among us, Fallout, Skyrim, Against the Gods, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and more. Oh so much more. Well I better start reviewing more source materials. Lol I got a lot of homework to do.
Oh, and I'm totally writing, or typing if you will, with the new feature on the app lol. I know I'm going to disappoint some of you with the slow release but I can promise you that if I ever drop this novel(Most likely I won't) or take a break from writing that I will give a notice at the end of the most recent chapter.

Diary 11:

Tomorrow morning, Long Dao and I wasted no time to go out and explore Lan. The streets looked similar to Lai, which is that there were many people and a lot of shops. But there is something odd that catches my eyes. Everyone here seemed so … closed. I meant, people here still talk and do business and stuff, but I just get a feeling that all of them are wearing a public mask. 

The people here kind of remind me of the Japanese people. Not to say that they are all fake, just that they have a culture of not bothering other people, which results in them having to act fine all the time. I hope that Lan people also acted like that out of cultural reasons and not because they are afraid of something.

But, there is someone that stood out,

Long Dao and I were walking the streets to observe how people are living in Lan. When we turned to another street, I saw a young man, likely my age as well I think, having an argument with a restaurant owner. While the restaurant owner's face was all angry, this man just laughed all the time. 

I and Long Dao stood at the corner of the street and watched the whole thing.

"General, do you see that man?" I whispered. 

"Don't call me general here," she replied.

"Uhm… Long Dao, do you see him?" my mouth felt weird calling her by name.

"Yes, what about him?" Long Dao asked back.

"He looked so… free. He is different from the people here," I explain.

"And? Why is that important?" 

"A unique person will always know some secret knowledge," I answered.

Long Dao looked back at me. She made a doubtful face, "I thought you are a logical person, not making assumptions like this."

"It is always like that in games. An eccentric person is always a hiddenly useful character" I said confidently.

"Huh?" she raised her eyebrows.

"Oh, nothing. Keep watching," I forgot that she didn't know anything about games.

Although we couldn't hear what conversation the man and the restaurant owner were having, Long Dao and I still watched their behaviors and expressions.

Suddenly, a scream came out of nowhere. "Ah! Robber!" a woman yelled.

Long Dao and I turned our heads to the direction of the sound. There, we saw someone was running away while there was a woman laying on the ground.

Without any thoughts, we both rushed to the robber. But when we were there, the robber was caught already.

It was the young man from before. He was able to catch the robber within seconds. Slowly, he took the woman's bag from the robber's hand and walked to the woman.

"Mam, are you ok?" he asked while handing back the bag and helped her stand up.

"Thank you so much!" she replied and took back her bag.

She then opened and checked her stuff. While that was happening, we saw the man just walk away quietly.

Seeing my chance, I immediately ran for him. "Hey!" I called.

The man turned his head back. He looked confused as to why this stranger was calling him. When I finally caught up to him, he asked, "Uhm… Do I know you?"

"Can you join us?" I asked.

"I don't know what you mean by that?" he still looked confused.

"I want you to go with us," I said. Long Dao finally arrived too.

"Haha. I think your friend here has something wrong in his head," the young man laughed.

"Yes, I think so too," Long Dao agreed with him. I glanced at her hearing those words, but she just turned the other way.

"Please take care of your friend. I have something to do right now," he smiled brightly and walked off.

We looked at him to a far enough distance, then Long Dao asked, "What were you doing?"

"What do you mean?" I acted dumb.

She quickly glanced at me and it gave me back a shower. "Don't pretend in front of me. I know that you are not dumb enough to recruit someone straight up like that," Long Dao was as sharp as ever. 

"Alright, alright," I smiled it off. "From observing him, we can see that he is a carefree person. With that, when I approached him like how I did, he would think that I am a crazy person or someone mentally ill," I started explaining.

"Well, you are both," Long Dao cut in my words.

"Hey!" I almost yelled, but she just looked the other way.

"Continue," she said.

"Well!" I was still upset with her constantly messing with me like that. "If something happens to him and we, I, jump in and rescue his life, his eyes will now see me as a strong and wise person who just acted eccentrically."

"So you are trying to become a person like that man," Long Dao understood my intention.

"That's correct! Long Dao is so smart!" I teased her and about to rub her head, but a quick stare shut that off.

"Your hand will be on the other street if you act like that again," she coldly said and walked off.

"Can't even take a joke," I followed her. "How can you find a husband if you are always scary like that?" I said.

"I already have one," she said quietly, and that was when I knew, I f*cked up.

"Shoot! Why did I remind her of the arranged marriage? You idiot!" I scolded myself. "Wait! But she never said that she never complained about it though," that thought made me look at Long Dao more closely.

As always, Long Dao was walking with a straight back and looked elegant without even trying. She looked so perfect, without a flaw. Well, besides her threats, but only I know about that. 

"She knows how to fight and lead. She cares about the people without seeing them as a lower class. She is born into the most powerful family in the nation but doesn't eat fancy food," I was evaluating what I have known about Long Dao the past few days. 

"It is as if she is a fictional character. But wait! I am in a game right now, so does that mean she IS fictional? But if she is fictional, am I also fictional?"

Let me tell you straight up, the mc here is ... how should I say it ... INTERESTING. 

After he was reborn into a world with a game system, our mc thought that the new world he got into is going to be like those generic ones that are in many Isekai stories these days.

So our mc was happy thinking he is going to be OP as hell and everyone will bow down to him.

But how is it possible to know his strength when the game doesn't show his stats or his mana? The only thing available for our mc are only the health bar, inventory, and skill tabs.

And even that, the skills in this world are like no other.

With a unique style of storytelling from the mc's own diaries and his master's degree in Isekai tropes being useless, how can our mc survive in his new world?

A cartoon like Series of shows full of character of different types.

I have been watching anime for about 2 years now.


I started watching anime since this kid came along in our neighborhood.

I still can't forget that day.The day when the kid arrived.His mother knocked on our door to give us freshly baked cupcakes.My mother and his mother chatted for hours and when I was about to close the door as they left,the kid stopped me and asked,

"Do you watch cartoons?"

"Yes I do.I'm also a programmer.Why do you ask?"I replied.

"Cool so do you know about anime?"he asked.

"Anime?What's that?"I asked.

That was the question that changed my whole life.

I immediately regret asking that question to the kid.

"You know.Shows where characters have powers,swords,...."

"Yeah,yeah I know but why do you ask if I watch anime?"

"Do you want to watch Anime with me?"

Aaaand 2 years later I'm still watching anime.It feels like my whole life made a 180 degree turn.

This kid doesn't want to do anything except watching anime.He doesn't even want to play video games or board games.

Every time there is no school or during the weekends he comes over to my house to watch anime.

These past few months,my company has been programming a new cartoon that they were going to release soon.

That is why I needed some time off everything including watching anime.

So the next day I went to the next-door kid's house and asked him,"Do you want to do something else besides watching anime?"

"Oh but I want to watch more anime."he replied.

"Oh maybe we could go get some yummy vanilla ice cream in the park.Is that okay with you?"I asked.

And we are now in the park.


Far away from televisions.

Far away from anime.

We sat down in a bench and talking about a lot of stuff until he asked me,"If you can go to any world or fictional places,what would it be?"

I replied,"Hmm I would like to go to the fictional world of Harry Potter.You know,so I could shoot laser from my magic wand."

He said,"Oh I thought you were going to answer Anime."

"That's your dream kiddo,but enough of this we should be going home."I replied

As we were walking back home I kept thinking and murmuring to myself.

If I were able to go to any world or dimension and it is the world of anime what would I do.

Enjoy using my powers.Fight enemies and villains.Anything possible in my imagination.

That daydreaming caused me to lost my footing and I hit the ground face-first.

I stood up to tell the kid everything is okay.But something weird happened.

The road we were walking on had holes and craters with explosives,blood,and swords in it

The houses around us turned into destroyed buildings with ice and fire marks

And most importantly,the kid is gone.

No.

This is impossible.

The world I'm looking at right now.

Anime.

Small section devoted to terminology in case some people don't quite understand everything with a short explanation as needed.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) 
– A very broad term...  When a computer program is able to interact freely with a user, it could be said to be an AI.  When a object is programmed to react to different conditions it is also considered an AI, but a true AI would be an object that is programmed, can make it's own rules, has it's own thoughts, and is genuinely aware of its own existence.  

Armlet
– Made up technology for this novel, consider it a combination smart watch, smart phone, personal assistant, and identity manager.  Called an armlet because it is usually worn on the arm.  A very generic term like how we call both Androids and iPhones just 'Smart Phones'.

HUD
– Heads up Display, this is another generic term, in most cases it is the overlay that everyone sees when they're wearing their armlets or something else that has one like a neural link helmet or a neural integrator.  In the virtual world anyone can use it without an armlet, helmet, glasses, or any other surface as the system in the virtual world can just generate it for the players.

Matchmaking
– Players playing a game will enter a queue and be matched against other opponents ideally of similar skill for a single match.  Usually it is done without revealing your opponents until the match begins.

Mech 
– A large robot, usually  humanoid in shape and that can be piloted in the most common cases.  If you can't picture it, think Transformers, or Power Rangers, or something else with large robots.  

NPC
– Non Player Character.  These are characters in games that are not controlled by a player, but still play a part in a game.  Normally they have a predefined set of actions they perform and never deviate from them, so in the case where the players feel like they are lifelike is due to the NPCs being able to think for themselves.  Because of this players will say they are AI or have Artificial Intelligence.

Neural Integrator
– Another piece of fictional technology.  It is only usable in virtual environments and it allows you to transfer your senses into a protected virtual environment within a virtual environment.  This makes more sense if you've ever seen the movie Inception and understand it to some extent.  Why do they need this?  Because speeding up time with respect to the real world would take way to much processing power to do it on an entire world scale plus people have different limits they can handle.

Neural Link Helmet (Neural Helmet)
– More fictional technology.  It is a helmet that transfers all of your brain's commands to the device that it is connected to, which in this case is almost always a mech.  Those with enhanced cognitive functions are able to use these with ease where as the average person can at most get it to recognize a very limited range of commands.

Player-Killing
– When one player kills another player, generally this is normal in most online games, but it can be taken to extremes when one player gets hunted over and over again, especially if you receive a penalty of sorts upon death.

Player vs. Everyone (PvE)
– This is when the game is players versus system generated enemies or just the environment, no killing or direct competition with other players in most cases.

Player vs. Player (PvP)
– Similar to player-killing, this refers to battles between players or when a game revolves purely around competing with other players.

Sandbox (or Sandbox World)
– An empty virtual world created for the purpose of a user to be able to experiment with anything from simulated objects, people, terrain, or even the laws of physics.  Basically a world you can set your own rules with.  A sandbox game is one that a player is usually given a set of building tools and they are set free to create whatever they wish without any constraints sometimes.  Minecraft is probably the most well-known sandbox game.

VR 
– Virtual Reality.  I don't think I have to explain what this is, but just in case, it is a completely artificial environment that does not interact with the real world.  Today we can only immerse a tiny portion of our senses into it, but in this novel, it uses complete immersion where your consciousness will enter a simulated reality.

A hundred years from now the Earth is now reduced to several domed cities after the last war raised the temperature across the planet thus raising the sea level.

The most common escape for everyone is virtual reality.  A new game, Alterra Online, is set to release and promises to be the most realistic mecha/military/political simulation to date as well as the first full dive virtual reality game.

Gray Wilhelm, like so many others, wants to be one of the first to play.  What is Alterra Online's secret?  Why do players feel more alive in the game than in real life?  And why is the government and Alterra Corporation working on it together?

11/9/2019 - Slowing down release rate temporarily as I edit and clean up the first volume extensively.  Wow was I bad!  Doesn't quite need a rewrite thankfully.

I will start by saying welcome to my novel.

Before I can start writing the chapters and 'you' reading it, I would like to clear somethings first. There will be minor spoilers though, but I hope we can get past the spoilers because I think things that will be explained here are important.

First, as I said in the summary, English is not my first language. This is also not my first time writing a novel. Most of my novels were either scrapped or just gathering dust in my GDrive or inkstone draft. I know this will make you less motivated to read this, but I will try to finish this short novel.

Second, this novel is intended to be introductory to another novel that I plan to write in the future. I wanted Ray, or the MC of this novel, to be OP even before touching fictional or other worlds, which brings us to...

Third, the reason why I upload this novel as fanfiction. There will be video games and anime-related things such as the last boss of this novel that I took from Nasuverse or Type-moon or whatever you wanted to call the franchise with. Despite the story will be set on our Earth, specifically my home country. I won't go into any complicated things related to my home country like the politics at the time because I'm not interested and also I don't give a damn. I can't say that this novel will 'promote' Indonesia but I hope you are interested to visit.

I intended to put this as an original but I wanted to use anime-related skills and characters so that's why I put this in fanfiction.

The most important thing, however, is that the names that will be used in this novel are purely fictional. Meaning that I genuinely need to think hard just for a single name. Don't get me started on how long that I have to think before using "Ray Purnomo" as the name of the MC XD.

This novel will also reference some of my personal experiences with some twists to make it sound more... dramatic.

And uhh... I think that's pretty much it. I hope I can finish this novel in like 20 to 50 chaps or so because I wanted to write another world type of story using Ray as the MC XD.

I should've considered this day my day off at writing, because I just realized that writing 1000 words a day can be so tiring. I also want my content to be fresh and new everyday, so it's hard for me to do this shit daily, but my body became writing a routine. I didn't realized that I got hooked on writing. I just did this for my hobby. I can't even get views on Wattpad. 

The thing that inspired me to write again today is when I saw my Webnovel views. I can't believe I got a hundred views over my crappy writing. I dunno how Webnovel works but my Gregoritas, it drove me to improve my writing skills. I did this shit as a joke, a bunch of stories that I experienced throughout my existence, but man, a hundred people reading my story warms my heart. 

Though I must admit that I'm a fictional character working for Sam Jetson, but man, even I, Greg, was impressed by this views. Man, it makes me think of telling all of my stories through childhood and until to the future of my life. I still have a bunch, inspired by the series of events happened by the real person, Sam Jetson. Take note, these stories should be taken by the grain of salt. 

I'm like Deadpool, I can break the third wall. I can even say a big "fuck you" to the author. In fact, my name should be the one imprinted on this book coz Sam is just my typist for this story. Just kidding, I still love Sam Jetson.

My Gregoritas, if you visit Philippines, I would love to treat you to my mom's sinigang: all natural and no added preservatives. Pinakbet is just a bunch of vegetables all together. This author got a weird palate when it comes to foods. I would've allow him to name his Twitch Sinigang Games, because that name only exists in my universe, but nevermind, it happened. He typed the name that he likes. The concept of favorite food as a game name even came from me, because in the gaming world, lots of player's names originates from foods like Disguised Toast, PewDiePie (it has a pie in it), and more.

Anyways going back to my shitty life adventures, I didn't really do much for today. I just did a live stream on playing League of Legends (shout out to all LoL players out there). I won't tell my LoL name, it doesn't even exists in your universe, but I main Nasus. Easy 600 stacks boi. 

Anyways it's getting a little bit late by now, and I should be practicing to sleep early, because my class will be back on fucking January 6. I don't wanna go to school coz I have a shit ton of workload that I've not finished since the last time I joined RSPC.

In the Beginning, Darkness was over the surface of the Deep. In that deep was a transparent soul floating aimlessly on that boundless void. That soul looked like a bright star, which illuminates the void. That shining soul was in a deep slumber not knowing where it is. Then another light that comes to that void out of nowhere, and start morphing into a humanoid shape. An hourglass figure with graceful features. She has long golden hair, a light green eyes and a golden halo that float behind her. There is one thing that will come to anyone who would see her «GODDESS». 
She looked at the soul who should be extinguished in this void of nothingness, but kept moving without anything happened to her with a gentle look on her face.
"It is truly amusing for a soul to keep existing in void realm. Normally anything here will be shredded until nothing remain, but this kind soul is still intact. It seems it did great deeds in its life. Nevertheless, it quit surprising to be here without anything happened to it."
With that said she extended her hand toward that soul, garb it in her hand and leaved the void.

"I see!!! However, recalling what happened, I guess I don't regret what I did back there. If I the same happened once again I will sacrifice myself to save the others. Although I did not make it to the finals but that doesn't matter now. So what is gonna happen? Heaven? Hell? Or I will be reincarnated to my world?" He said while looking her.
"Unfortunately, you can't reincarnated to your world, I am really sorry. However, I can reincarnate you to one of those fictional worlds you know about. In addition, I can guarantee you any wishes you want as long as it is reasonable one, but in exchange, I will take your Karma. Alternatively, you can choose to enter the Samsara Cycle and be reincarnated in a random world. So what is your choice? Take your time and think carefully about your own decision."
Our young protagonist start pounding over the choices he was given. Certainly, he was tempted by her offer to be sent to another world; after all, he read many of those Isekai Light Novels and Fanfictions. He read so many of those novels to the point he wished to be sent there. Moreover, he was a professional gamer especially in VRMMO games. He was once hailed as the BATTLE GOD in the PRO CIRCLE. So he was thinking about which world he want be reincarnated in. While he was recalling those fictional works he read before he stumped at specific work, it was one of his favorite. He was dreaming to be there fighting those fictional beings inside this work, just the thought of that would make him get an adrenaline rush. Thus, before he participate in any game event he would read a volume so he can lay waste on his opponents. He liked it to the point that when he won one of those event, he was given the right to create any special tool he want. Therefore, he created what would be known later as the ultimate tool that destroy gods and demons based on the tools in this work. The name of the work is High School DxD written by Ishibumi Ichiei. 
"I made my mind. I want to reincarnate in DxD world 19 years before the plot starts. So how many wishes I can get with my Karma" Finally, he made his choice so he looked at the Goddess and stated his choice.
"You know you have a huge amount of Karma, so with that taken you got 7 to 10 wishes."
"Alright! First thing first, I want a Perpetual Mana Generator like that in A Commonplace Story of Overpowered Sorcerer Fanfic novel. Second, I want the ultimate skill Creation Lord Ahura Mazda & the origin skill Information King Akashic Records from That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Light Novel. Third, I want the Boosted Gear. Fourth, I want to have a tool I created in my Computer. Fifth, I want a Physique that allows me to handle any type of energy and adaptable to any changes I experience. Sixth, I want S-Cells of ancient Saiyan, as those cells would make anyone's fighting potential limitless. And Finally, I want my own dimension bounded to me" He released a sigh finally finishing his list of wishes and waiting for her response.
"You sure are greedy & cunning one young Tatsuya!" the Goddess replied looking at the young boy.
"What can I say. I was tempted by you offer so I decide to go full drive on my wishes. So are those acceptable or there should be some changes?" 
"Actually your wishes burned all your Karma points especially the second and fifth wishes burned more than half of them. So your wishes has been fulfilled and for your fifth wish, I will give you the Origin Physique; this one is the beginning of every physiques so it will suit you better. Now that you have got what asked for it is time to send you there." As she said that, a portal opened behind his back and sucked him.
"Enjoy your new life young boy" she said as she also disappeared from there.

The clock's arm ticked ever so slow, Nathan thought. Feeling the march of time - painfully, painfully slow. Ten minutes were left till the end of class and his classmates were already bouncing from desk to desk, socializing within their circles. He, however, refused. His head rested, cradled by his folded arms on his desk as he sat. Socializing had become burdensome to him, especially with the girls his age. Their subjects only ever encompassing the latest couples, celebrities, and how much they loved~ that cute guy one class over.

Nathan himself was considered 'handsome'. A labeled 'jock', his good looks often made and somewhat approachable personality made him popular with girls of every age. His short dark brown hair flared up naturally, with black asymmetrical eyes with the faint beginnings of a 5'o clock shadow and lightly tanned skin. He was considered a manly person, leaving the girls around him deeming him - "The Bad Boy". It wasn't a particularly enjoyed, trying to ignore its existence. It ended up morphing into "Ice Prince".

Only a few months remained of the school year. Afterward, he'd be thrown into the confusing, never-ending maze of adult life. Maybe go straight into the workforce, or attempt college and hope he was smarter than a fifth grader. Maybe, in the end, he'd be on track for a high paying job. Either route was viewed as a hassle to him. He wasn't great with books, rather, liked to learn hands on.

It was all the same though, disinterest with life slowly becoming grey. He never could remember when it happened. A slow chasm widened between him and his friends. Between the girl he 'loved'. A somewhat social butterfly and womanizer when he first entered high school. That naive, gentle smile had long been replaced with a calm stoic lazy face.

Before was a different fling every month. Sex was the best thing next to the invention of pizza to him. Now? He'd rather torture himself trying to play that retro E.T game. It was a chore. Socializing was an even bigger bore. Gossip, drama, who was in, and who was out. A never-ending vicious cycle that only seem to consume anyone involved. Of course, he wasn't immune to its siren songs, but now he couldn't even bother himself to talk along when he heard about things.

Slowly, but surely he wished for a different world.

It was a place where 'Nathan' existed.  Video games. Fiction novels, and movies. These places had captured his complete heart. A place he could shed his skin of a mediocre 'young adult' and spread his wings. Doctors and psychologists say it's merely depression and it was normal to have it during puberty. It didn't help him solve his problem though.

Yes, that lul of a feeling. Disinterest in the world - his world. With each passing week, he grew fonder of fictional stories of heroes, monsters, and magic. Some days it'd be fictional sci-fi. Others it would be mysteries. Movies, novels, and video games. Anything and everything. He loved to escape to them.

He didn't what to be a hero, no. He wanted an adventure. An escape from that soul-crushing life this world was bound to hand him in a few months.

Travel unexplored lands, traverse through ruins and fight monsters. He wasn't interested in being the main character, he wanted to be free. Wonder from place to place and see that world. Free from the shackles this world placed on him. That was his dilemma he would say.

In this world, most lands have been explored, there were no monsters beside humans themselves. There were no unexplored ruins he could find by simple wondering aimlessly within the forests nearby. He also wasn't particularly skilled either. That was the only common denominator between him and his classmates. Certainly, there were others wrangling with his thoughts as well.

His thoughts roamed, just as they've done every day before. It most like would tomorrow too. The clock's ticks lulled him, beckoning him to a sweet sleep. The voices his classmates slowly faded. The tick-toks began to echo before it too began to fade into the distance. He felt his thoughts melt away and darkness embraced him.



"Wakey wakey~"

A girl's voice whispered softly into his ear. His mind bucked into gear, with his body following suit. His eyes shot open as he raised his upper body.  A girl that looked no more than 15 sat on top of his teacher's desk. Ponytail of silky black hair, ink-black eyes doting healthy white skin, and a charming smile that could topple countries. Wearing blue denim skinny jeans and a loose black blouse. She was a stunning beauty, a beauty Nathan could recognize within a split moment. 

"Lily...?" Confusion in his voice, his eyebrows furrowed and expression cramped slightly. His mind raced to piece things together. He then noticed that the room was bare, in fact, it wasn't his classroom anymore. Four white walls, a white floor and white roof with no doors or windows. There were no lights, no other desks and his classmates were absent. Yet, despite this, the room was brightly lit. 
His desk and chair; Lily and his teacher's desk. 

Only this existed inside the room. "O..? So you do remember me?" Her smile morphed into a grin, ear to ear. A felt a chill on his back. He knew this expression all too well. She was pissed. "I'm surprised you do, I heard you were sleeping with plenty of women behind my back while we dated." Yes, she definitely was pissed, but her claim was false. 

It was actually different... Lily was his longest relationship and he was definitely serious about her before... His dilemma began to run amuck in his life. "No, I never cheated on you." Disregarding the whole situation. He still cared about this girl, that's why he left. To deal with his issue. Sort of a 'Set her free' trope if you will. Her eyes were frosty black like a tundra in the night. Her legs began to swing faster, agitated. 

"Don't lie to me, your ex-girlfriends told me you were sleeping with them. That's why you're here. As payback..." With each word, her voice became colder. Her expression becoming stoic. Only her eyes displayed her anger and her fingers that tapped to some unknown rhythm."I'm dropping you into my world!" When those vindictive words left her mouth, the room began to slowly distort. 

Panic rose in his mind, he didn't know what was happening. He rushed out of the chair and charged forward. Lily's was dumbstruck by his sudden charge. Before she could react, his arms wrapped around her protectively as the room disappeared. An endless abyss swallowed them up before either could say or move...
