I put this novel on hiatus because I've been really passionate about a new novel that i'm planning to write in the near future.

in case your wondering, I'm rewriting this novel on this same page since no one has reviewed on it yet. 

Just a reminder that all the art I will show for reference towards characters were not created by me and all credits go to their respective owners. Their art is just being used by me as a representation of characters within the novel.

Story Synopsis: Robert Bobble, known to his friends as Bob Bob, died. You can read the details in chapter one. Anyway, as is the case with so many dead novel characters. He reincarnated into a fantasy world. Not just any fantasy world mind you, but an Eastern Fantasy World. The type where main characters power levelled and villains said things like; “You’re Courting Death!” You excited yet? This author is! So, start reading. Also vote with Spirit Stones so this author can get a prize at the end of the week. 

Author Notes: I’m writing this story for Writing Prompts Contest #19: Xuanhuan. This will be a short story parody of the Xuanhuan genre, because this author is focused on other stories.

Romance is a very popular genre in Webnovels. The first thing that come to mind when we talk about romance are the CEO novels. Even though we don't want to admit it, they are the mainstream romance stories in the Webnovel website. 

So why do people love romance stories? I hope you find the answer while reading this chapter.

Elyon knew that "Romance" is not his strong point. He writes a fantasy story with romance, but he can't tell if the romance will be able to attract female readers. Out of curiosity, he asked some of his fellow authors the question "Why do you read romance stories?"

Here are their answers…

Kyosei: Because I am single. 

Reili: To fill my empty void of a love life.

Minrei: Because romance let you feel what is to be loved, plus it is universal you dont need to learn magic or cultivation in order to read.

Bajj: Due to lack of romance irl.

Murakami: I read because I enjoy the friction and conflict between the FL and ML. The insistence vs resistance is naisu.

Qin: I reads romance only for ideas and info.

VlassisBehrakis: I don't read romance novels.

Elyon then  ̶a̶m̶b̶u̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ asked some readers about their opinion about romance novels.

Yin: I read romance novels because I want that kind of drama to happen to me in real life. But I know it will never happen haha.

A Certain Irresistible Meowlin: I wonder why? And I do read romance novels. Though the chance of me dropping them is also the highest out of all the genres. Every so often I come across a scene that makes me just want to squeal and fangirl.

Elyon decided to dig deeper and asked a few of his senior "romance authors" some questions about their reason for writing romance stories.

The first question is… Why did you choose to write Romance Stories?

Anjeeriku: I'm comfortable writing romance stories compared to other genres. I'm a helpless romantic person and I like novels that can invoke other people's feelings.

Bajj: First of all, I like reading romance story. It was the reason why I read books before and reading other genres comes after. All in all, due to these romance fiction books, I got the opportunity to read more great books with different genre.

MishaK: That's what I read, so write that too.

Zehell2218: Because as reader, I want to read romance novel so when I write, I write romance since my motto is I write what I want to read.

Ikazainudin: The easiest genre. Everyone can relate.

End_of_Era: It wasn't a full on Romance, it was slice of life with romance which I feel was necessary with progression of the characters.

The second question… When you were making your ML and FL, did you imagine yourself as the lead of your story at any given point in time?

Anjeeriku: I would be a liar if I said no. There were instances that I'd put myself in my FL's shoes. Whenever that happens, my writing feels more passionate and truthful that sometimes it was hard to know where my fl starts and where I end. 

Shen Yi, LMD's ML was based on a person I've lost, The One That Got Away so it was sometimes hard not to self-insert whenever there were scenes that need to invoke feelings from readers. 

Bajj: I believe that every character the author was making and breathing life into it, a part of him/her is added to its character. But me imagining of being the ML/FL, never. I'm too pure for that. Kek

MishaK: Yes I did but sometimes. Otherwise you can't infuse emotions in your characters. It is important to understand your characters.

Zehell2218: Yes, I imagine myself as the lead. Of course, I tweak it a bit, such as in age and appearance. But mostly, the characteristics is similar to me.

Ikazainudin: FL and ML character based on what I want to be irl. Yup. I imagine that will be my love story.

End_of_Era: Yes, my leads had some ocassional self insertion.

The third question… If you were to choose some other genre aside from romance, what would you pick?

Anjeeriku: Fantasy. I always look up to those authors who can write fantasy stories/novels well. I believe writing a fantasy novel is harder than writing romance.

Let's just say that it's a unique way to see a world in the eye of a lady (if you are a man of course). When done properly, the execution of the story can capture the hearts of anyone, even male readers. I believe that no matter what gender you are, as long as you find the story interesting then it doesn't matter whether you are a guy or a gal no?

Perhaps, when I'm not too busy to write my stories, I'll once again pick a romance novel to read. Hopefully, I will find another hidden gem that will bring unexpected surprises to anyone who are lucky enough to find them.

I've read the Chinese raws up to 1500+
The story line isn't particularly deep, but it's very engaging. Honestly speaking, I don't think that a deep plot is necessary for a novel of this genre either.
What that pulls you into this novel is the interaction between the characters.
The characters have their unique personality, and the hilarious way which they interact with one another is what that builds the story.
I'll recommend it for those who are looking for a slice of life, doting, comedy, with a pinch of face-slapping from time to time.

The first chapters are more or less entertaining but as the story goes on, it becomes heavier to read.

Same type of villainess. ALWAYS GIRLS (woah! Surprise!) who are envious of MC and try to use poisonous words to humiliate Ning Xi (mostly, througth wealth comparations). Implying that she's a "cheap" woman who only knows to sleep with powerful men for money, status and power.

Also, MC's first love is a brainless guy. Really, very annoying...

Big Bun is the typical perfect guy that knows MC is a strong and independent woman and whenever she's in problems he lets her solve by her own but... Hey, actually, I'm always helping you in the shadows. Hey! Notice me! Look how powerful man I'm. Marry me.

Also, the extra people that acts as gossippers whenever Villainess A, B, C, D, E... tries to humiliate her are always as brainless as MC's first love shitty guy. Always like "there goes MC! Villaines A said she's a slut, therefore, she must be a slut!" "MC is such a lucky woman, she may even have real talent..." "But, hey, Villainess B critized her clothes! Actually, she's always wearing the same no name brand, she must be poor. Ha! MC is so pitiable, she wears clothes like a beggar! *giggle*"

I really was hoping you guys give feedback to me. So this post will explain our current arc last chapter I introduced the first villain of the book. The only comments I have received so far have suggested my writing pace slow and mc being driven on a revenge crusade. Hopefully you guys have read chapter 3 where mc is still in the sect. So how on earth do you think a massacre will take place. There will be deaths which you need in a eastern fantasy novel but I assure you the core characters cannot die so early in a novel. The other thing is my slow pace. I do not think I can change that but I will be honest on this front that my novel chapters are much shorter than other ones. For example if I compare it to dual cultivation my 18 chapters will be 10-11 based on words so I guess the number of chapters is perhaps confusing you guys. Any feedback will be extremely appreciated. I honestly want to know how to improve my writing so if you guys want to leave reading my novel. I will still appreciate the reasons to improve me further. I started writing due to depression from my university results but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Abby went through the next year in a blur. She forced herself to keep studying because it was the only thing that kept her going. She stopped spending time with her friends and spent way too much time looking through old memories of her sister. 
Photo albums. Home videos. Katie's diaries and social media accounts. It was impossible to accept that she was truly gone even though Abby didn't get her daily random texts anymore. 
Graduation was especially hard. A few of her aunts and uncles had come out for the occasion but it wasn't the same. Her parents should have been there. Katie should have been there. 
Losing her parents had been horrible but at least she had Katie to hold her together. Who was supposed to hold her together now that she had lost her best friend? 
Abby got a well-paid graphic design job right off the bat and buried herself in her work. But when she wasn't able to do that, she decided to finally get to the list of things Katie had always bugged her about watching and reading that she never had time for. 
Comics. Novels. TV shows. She spent several months consuming all that media and frequenting stopping to sob as she wondered which parts her sister had wanted her to see the most. She only recommended things she was certain Abby would like. 
 Once that list was complete, Abby felt like she had lost her sister all over again. There was nothing left that Katie was telling her to do. 
That was how she ended up desperately checking her sister's old Goodreads account for every book she had ever bothered to post a review for, both good and bad. She found herself frequently agreeing with the reviews Katie had left behind. 
Even though not all of the books were her cup of tea, Abby felt a little closer to her sister again. She was a bit confused when she got to From Pastry Chef to Princess though. For the first time, she didn't agree with Katie's review. 
'If you're looking for a cute, cliché fantasy love story with 2-D characters and minimal world-building this is the book for you. (I literally only read it because someone left it behind at the doctor's office and I was stuck waiting for three hours)'
What about these characters was 2-D in her mind? Sure, Prince Alpheus had been pretty boring at first but Catherine du Pont was a riot. Watching him fall for her had actually been pretty fun even though she was frustratingly resistant to him. 
The book was in his point of view, which didn't make a lot of sense. It seemed more like Catherine, who preferred to be called Katie, was the main character. But the synopsis on the back of the novel had clearly indicated this book was about Marcy. 
Abby's heart ached as she read because this Katie reminded her so much of her own. Tears ran down her face as she laughed at some of the things this girl said and did. It was a fantasy novel but she didn't act like she belonged in it at all. 
She was surprised that things like pizza and doughnuts were included in the book, especially since none of the other characters seemed to know anything about them. There were a lot of inconsistencies like that. 
The book's Katie was a know-it-all bookworm with a weird sense of humor just like her sister. And she seemed oddly like one of those transmigrated characters in the comics from the list Katie gave her even though everyone else truly believed she was Catherine du Pont. 
Abby became more and more confused as the story went on. The only reason she hadn't stopped reading at all was because she felt oddly drawn to this character and what she was dealing with. 
More than halfway through the book, she read something so shocking that she dropped it slipped right through her fingers and onto the ground.  
"My name was Katrina Pullman but I had gone by Katie my entire life. I am not from Annalaias or any of the surrounding nations. I am from another world in a place called Arizona. Everything I ever said was from the country…was actually from my home.
"All of my knowledge came from things I learned back home. Jellyfish…politics…card games…hat looms….I want to be a librarian because that was my job before. I died in a carriage accident and somehow woke up in Catherine du Pont's body."
All of the odd things about Katie finally fit together in her husband's mind as she continued to speak but Abby felt like she might pass out after checking the next several pages multiple times to be sure she wasn't hallucinating. 
Was this some kind of sick joke? How would this author have even known that Katrina Pullman died in a car accident? Let alone that she had lived in Arizona and had a sister named Abby? 
There were too many specific details from Katie's life in this book. The author had to have known her but that didn't make sense either. Katie had been such a private person. She spent all of her free time alone or video chatting with her little sister when Abby wasn't swamped with homework or had other plans. 
She frantically flipped the book over to check who the author was. Janine Everett. Abby had never heard of her. She wanted to angrily demand how her sister had ended up inside this author's story—was there no respect for the dead anymore?—but she was compelled to finish it first to see if there were any more weird facts about Katie in there. 
Abby ended up rereading the entire book twice, skipping over unimportant parts that didn't specifically mention anything weird or different about Katie. She wrote down every single instance in a notebook, with page and paragraph numbers for reference. 
The next thing she did was track that author down. She had a website—apparently this wasn't the only book she had ever published—and on it was an email address for fans to contact her through. 
She sent a very strongly worded message demanding to know what was going on with this book. To her surprise, the author wanted to meet with her face to face so they set up a time to video chat.

Like the title said, I've dropped this novel, not because the Log Horizon world is contain in-depth knowledge about game and politic but maybe... the OPness of the MC? Or all bullshit in the novel that I've created.

Truly, I regret it.

But still, maybe I'll make the new one. And somewhat I'm sick with people who want every day or mass updates. I trying to get my writing sense back like before and deeply sorry if you who waited for the update become disappointed to me.

For now, I'll try to make the novel for fun, not for popularity. Yeah, it's very bad and I always do that in fanfiction dot net too. The update stability maybe not every day, I will update it as I want.

What new novel I will make? One of these:

1. My Overpowered Loli Wife: Male MC that really love Ophis from High School DxD and make him got transported to that world while try ignoring unwanted harem and focus to make Ophis his wife.
P.S: This will not contain system and of course has a weak to strong trope while I'll trying not to make it Gremory group/family related.
P.S.S: This is maybe first POV or MC POV.

2. Yuri System? Why I'd be bothered by this?: Female MC that love yuri or lesbi stuff and suddenly transmigrated to Sawamura Spencer Eriri while the world is mixed anime world.
P.S: Yes, this is have system but not for fighting or anything, only for Yuri... so if MC involved with supernatural or anything, she has to train herself for that from scratch.
P.S.S: Some middle age fantasy or isekai characters will have their background altered. I.e: Emilia Re:Zero that become your schooler girl, Hajime Arifureta with his group that is schooler, and Naofumi TateYu with his group that is college student, etc.
