A book store in Konohagakure
Menma was about to go to Ichiraku's when he bumped into Naruto. He frowned at Naruto and said, "Watch where you are going. Anyways, where are you going?"
Naruto smiled widely and said, " I am going to the bookstore. You want to accompany me?"
Menma said, "Well, I have nothing to do so I will accompany you."
So the two of them went along to the bookstore and Naruto went to the section containing Master-Jiraiya where he met Kakashi. Semingly, both of them were searching for the same book. They bumped into each other just in front of the latest release in the Icha Icha series.
Naruto first saw him and greeted him, "Hi Kakashi Senpai. Its been a long time hasn't it senpai. Anyways, I am searchng for the latest release in the Icha Icha series. Did you find it by any chance?"
Kakashi looked surprised and baffled. He asked, "You are actually looking for it? Who else knows about this hobby of yours?"
Naruto said, "Perhaps tou-san. No one else"
Kakashi said, "You should be careful with it. There are many who oppose the great books."
Naruto nodded and said, " I agree."
Kakashi looked at Menma who was staring at them as though he knew nothing. Kakashi asked, "Well, Menma, what are you here for?"
Menma answered, "Ohhh, Naruto asked me to accompany him so I just came along."
Kakashi sighed. He told Naruto, "I am unable to find the new Icha Icha release. Where are they keeping it?"
Menma looked surprised that they didn't notice that the book was right in front of them. They were searching up and down, every nook and corner of the store for a book right in front of their eyes. He wondered what was so great about this book they were searching out. He took the liberty to say, "Hya, Naruto, Kakashi-san, the book you two are searching for is right in front of you guys." Saying so, he smiled.
The two of them exclaimed, "HUH!"
They looked right in front of them and there were only two copies of the book remaining had all been burnt by ravaging angry Kunoichi who kind of disgusted the books. Naruto and Kashi each teleported and shushined to the books, and picked them up and sighed a sigh of relief that the last copies were safe in their hands.
Naruto said, "I don't know why people dislike these books. These are few of the greatest books ever published and they burn it down. I really don't understand them."
Kakashi nodded in agreement. He said, "If in the worst case I become the Hokage, I shall ban the burning of these books so that all of us can read them happily."
Naruto smiled. He said, "That would be the greatest thing ever."
Meanwhile, Menma took Naruto's copy and read a few pages. He threw it back at Naruto who caught it with grace. He turned towards Menma who said, "Hya, I don't understand why you guys are talking like his about the book. In my eyes, this is just smut."
Naruto blinked in surprise. He said, "Well, read it from the first installment. Then give your opinion. If you want, I can hatch you up with a copy of all the installments."
Menma took a few steps back and said, "Hya, keep those books to yourself. I don't want to get burnt by Kunoichi."
Naruto sighed and said, "You yourself will come to me asking for a copy one of these days. I shall e waiting for it." He grinned widely. Menma did not like when he or Tou-san grinned. It gave a very very creepy feeling.
Kakashi said, " Now now, the two of you have team placements tomorrow if I am not wrong. Now you two should go back and get prepared. You might end up in unusual teams tomorrow. Ja ne."
Naruto smiled and replied, "Ja ne, Senpai."
Kakashi then shushined to the cashier, paid the price and left. Naruto said, "Menma, lets get going as well. We shall have a long day tomorrow." The both of them went to the cashier, paid for the book and went out. They then went to Ichiraku and had five bowls of Ramen each. They then left for their home. Upon reaching the Uchiha clan compound they were recieved by Izuna. Izuna was astounded by the book Naruto was holding in his hand. He asked in surprise, "Why do you have that book in your hand?" Menma smirked at Naruto. He laughed slightly and said, "You're busted"
Izuna nodded and said, "You would be, if Mito were here that is. I went to the bookstore to get myself a copy of this book when I saw many Kunoichi burning these down. Mito was one of them. I couldn't believe it. The first day and they burn the books apart. How did you get a copy of this?"
Menma's jaw dropped to the ground. Naruto said, "I was actually lucky to get a copy. There were only two copies of it remaining. I and Kakashi-senpai both were searching for it together. It was thanks to Menma that I got a copy. You can read it if you want." Izuna sighed in relief. He looked at Menma and said, "Thank you Menma. I have been waiting for the release of this book for months together. You will not believe just how unhappy and depressed I was when I saw that many people burning it down. Can you imagine how depressed ad angry you would feel if people burnt down your favorite Ramen? Yes, that is exactly how I felt."
Menma wa unble to believe his senses. He knew he would feel bad if someone burnt ramen in front of him, but tou-san felt like that about those books! He stepped back and said, "Hehe tou-san. Your welcome and good night." Saying so, he ran away so that he would not have to be near people who read such books.
Meanwhile, Izuna said, "Naruto, give me the book. I shall make a copy of i for myself using the Rinnegan and give i back to you tomorrow after your kenjutsu and Kami no Ken training."
Naruto handed the book, said, "Good Night" and teleported to his room. Izuna on the other hand went to his room and started making an Icha Icha copy for himself.

After leaving Konoha, Madara came back to it to marry his love, Subarashi Uchiha. He did so after gaining the Rinnegan. Madara and Subarashi had a child who they named Tajima after Madara's father. Tajima gained the chakra of both Madara and Hashirama eventually gaining the Rinnegan as well. Tajima became a war hero of Konoha. Tajima had a son named Izuna. Izuna also gained the Rinnegan eventually. Izuna became the Hokage upon Minato's death. Naruto who is Izuna's son also gains the Rinnegan upon the Uchiha massacre. What will Naruto do in the face of many challenges?

If Arthur had the means to help Diana, he would have done that already but the fact is, he did not. However, this did light a fire under the young man's arse. If he had any hesitation to ignore the plight at Blue Lake, that thought was promptly banished out of his mind after he knew what was at stake. 
Some might perceive this as selfishness and they would be right. At the end of the day, human beings were self-serving creatures and Arthur was no different. Make no mistake, Arthur would help Diana but that was nowhere near the top of his to-do list, however, knowing that there was something on the line for him, this changed plenty of things. There was now an added motivation to help Diana.
All in all, while Arthur admitted that there was potential to the rewards provided by the Special Petitions, they were all currently inaccessible to him. He had no solution to resolve the petition related to Diana and the other two petitions were currently unknown to Arthur. He probably had not come across the mythical creatures to trigger them yet. The young man wondered if this was the book's way to motivate him, it kinda reminded him of the donkey and the carrot, him being the donkey in this situation. 
In any case, since there was nothing Arthur could do temporarily with regards to the Special Petitions, he moved onto the normal petitions. As mentioned before, if there was no change to the Available Petitions, he would have no choice but to take on the one by Mr. M despite Miss S' warning. Thankfully, the page had been updated. 
Petition No. 1 had been removed from the page because Arthur had already completed Miss S' assignment. Petition No. 2 was the one given by Mr. M and there was a new petition underneath it, a Petition No. 3. 
Looking at this latest petition, Arthur did not know what to think. Instead of words and details like the ones provided in Petition No. 1 and 2, all Petition No. 3 had a paw print. Arthur did not know how to make heads or tails of this situation. 
First, he tried to ask the Book of Thoth for assistance, "Hey, can you help interpret this for me? What is it trying to say? What is Petition No. 3?" 
Arthur waited for a while but there was no discernible change. Either the book did not understand what he said or the paw print was everything the book had to give to help Arthur. Either way, this meant that the book was no help. It further instilled Arthur's belief that the Book of Thoth he got was a pirated version or else how did one explain why it was so clueless to everything. 
Since Arthur knew he could not rely on the book, he had to solve this puzzle by himself. He examined the paw print closer. The print was of a slightly smaller size so the animal who left the print was probably a small-sized creature. That removed the possibility of beasts like elephants, tigers, and lions. Then again, maybe the book had downsized the print to fit it into the page, perhaps the original size was as big as a watermelon. Furthermore, Arthur believed he was dealing with a mythical beast so who was to say, an elephant cannot have dainty feet in the mythical world? Anything is possible in the mythical world. 
Then, Arthur examined the print to draw conclusion about the client's species. The indentation was of a sole and four fingers. That eliminated the possibility of any sort of avian because those would have left claw marks. Other than that, Arthur had nothing to go on with. He was not a veterinarian to know the species of an animal from their paw print alone. 
Arthur tried doing his research online but without the species of the animal so he could compare the paw print to, it was practically hopeless. The young man tried the more common domesticated animals like cats and dogs. The paw print on the book looked somewhat similar to the paw prints of these animals online but there were still some minor differences. 
Even though the identity of the client for Petition No. 3 was still shrouded in mystery, Arthur leaned towards accepting this petition compared to Petition No. 2. If Miss S. wasn't lying to him and Arthur could see no reason for her to do so, then accepting Petition No. 2 would put him in mortal danger. Even if he did not know what Petition No. 3 might entail, at least unknown was safer than definite danger. Plus, since Miss S. had already warned him about Mr. M, if the latest petition was more dangerous than Petition No. 2, she would have said something. Arthur knew he probably shouldn't have based the basis of his choice on the words of a woman who just admitted to sending him to a death mission but there was no better option. 
Arthur scratched his chin as he thought about it. He realized he still had time before he needed to come to a decision, he had something else to inspect first. 
These included the details of the Siren's Song as well as the update to Miss S.' client profile. 
To Arthur's disappointment, the profile for Miss S hadn't been updated much.

One of the updates was the identity, Siren. Arthur already knew that from the ability he stole from her. Just as he was about the turn the page, something caught the young man's attention. There was a comma and not a full stop next to the word, Siren.
Arthur doubted the Book of Thoth would make such grammatical mistake so the comma must have been left there for a reason. 'Does this mean Miss S. has more than one mythic identity? What else can she be other than a siren? Is multiple identity even possible for mythic creatures?'

Officially stopping the book to rewrite it into "the Disciple of Aoide", a similarly-themed book that is more WN style.

Also, I said that i would only fix grammar but I added additional info to almost every chapter until chapter 85. Those who already read my story until the latest chapter can directly skip them if you really want to but i don't recommend this as I added some stuff into them. They are pretty much the same and you can skim through them quickly but once you spot something new then please read it!

INT. - OPHELIA AGENCY - NOON

Donald Ipps didn't leave them waiting, at least, ushering them into his office the moment the receptionist at his agency alerted him to their presence. If Gerri thought the editor's office was full of books and awards, he had at least as many, if not more, filling his space. And a much nicer desk.
Being the agent of a superstar clearly had its perks.
"Have you found out anything?" Donald settled behind his desk, leaving Gerri and Kinsey to sit in front of him like servants. She didn't like that one bit. And took it out on him. Rather than answering his question, she hit him with one of her own.
"I hear Malcolm's writing ability was slipping," she said. "Feel like commenting on that?"
He appeared immediately offended. "I don't know who you've been talking to-"
"Monica Donnelly," Kinsey said, bright and cheerful. Gerri could have hugged her. If she'd tried that condescending tone, she'd have met with resistance. Instead, Donald seemed taken aback by the small blonde's offering.
"I see." He leaned back, visibly gathering his thoughts. "I take it she told you his latest book was late?" Was Donald sweating? "It's true, he'd been having some difficulty finishing his latest manuscript."
"Writer's block?" Kinsey's brightness didn't diminish.
"Not at all." Donald shifted uncomfortably in his chair. "There were some plot issues to work out and Malcolm was so busy teaching-"
"You mean drinking and screwing other people's wives." Gerri tapped the end of her silver pen on her notebook. "According to Ms. Donnelly, his abilities were slipping."
Donald's face darkened, cheeks red from anger. "If you're referring to the pages he sent her, those were a first draft and should never have crossed her desk."
Gerri's gut whispered, liar. As if she didn't know that already. So, what was he hiding, then?
"Anyway, the point is moot, now." Donald straightened his tie, cheeks returning to a more normal pink. "The manuscript is in final draft, in the process to be handed over by the weekend. And, from what Malcolm showed me, he had four more books written he'd been holding onto for a rainy day." That didn't sound accurate, either. Why hold onto them if the publisher was demanding something? Just didn't track.
Still, without proof to the contrary, there wasn't much Gerri could do. But, she'd be following up with Monica Donnelly to make sure that book did, in fact, arrive.
They left Donald's office with little more to show for the meeting, Gerri's frustration stewing in her gut as she leaned back against the railing in the elevator. She looked up to find Kinsey looking at her in misery.
Gerri tensed, inhaled sharply. And bit the bullet.
"Okay," she said. "Tell me about Ray."

The trip to Saravia was uneventful. The cargo ship made its journey back on perfect weather.  The sky was blue, the air crisp and the waves almost flat. The women were encouraged to leave the pilot house and went to the upper deck where they stayed until the familiar coastal lines of Saravia came into view.

              Saravia was a village bordered by the sea. It lies on the tip of a peninsula, scenic, remote and almost forgotten by the rest of the world. When Hippolyta and the Amazons decided to abandon the island they called home all those years ago in search of a new one, their ship came across a small forest of mangroves. 

              Beyond this forest lies a stretch of white sand where a huge bleached rock stood guard. Hippolyta saw the rock and was intrigued. She took a boat to see for herself and realized the rock was a stand in for a wall against the elements. It was very solid and very big and shone white under the sun.  

              The peninsula was actually part of a tribal land owned by an old despot who was related to the king. This old man had many wives and was on his way to acquiring more when he met Hippolyta. He was a very sensual man and was immediately attracted to the Amazon but something stopped him from following on his baser instincts.

             Hippolyta was not only cool but cold to his ardor. She was also the most intelligent woman he had ever met so he was a bit intimidated. But his main reason for not making a move on her was that he liked her. Hippolyta had a talent for winning men over with a natural friendliness that came off as very genuine. She had no qualms about saying or doing things any cloistered female would hesitate to do. Despite her mesmerizing good looks, Hippolyta didn't come off as a calculating seductress. And he could talk to her equally as if she was a man.

             She also had good instincts for conflict so when she told him that his younger brother was planning to overthrow him and take over, he believed her despite the fact that his brother was closer to him than any of his siblings. But there was some part of him that didn't want to believe so he waited, waited until his heir was kidnapped and killed, his house attacked and his wives raped,  until there was nothing left for him to do but kill and behead his brother.

             He learned his lesson. Hippolyta came to his aid unasked. She helped quell the insurrection, turned the tide in his favor so when she came to him and requested to buy the land the Amazons now called home, the old despot was very happy to give it to her as a gift. But Hippolyta didn't trust good will even if shown by a friend so the Amazons acquired the land by turning over a chestful of treasure to him. 

           Hippolyta immediately cut off access into her territory by simply planting trees and shrubs around the mouth of the peninsula. Years later, the old despot's great-grandson Li Cheung found his way into Amazon territory by hacking his way into the thick jungle then knocking on Hippolyta's door by mistake. An Ma followed an open trail that led to the village and accidentally met sixteen year old Ceres who came to his aid when his car broke down. An Ma had been on a school break and was staying with some friends at a resort owned by Li Cheung's family. 

           An Ning found the village by following the same route taken by her grandmother centuries before. The forest of mangroves had thickened over the years, the sand dunes had acquired a tanned sheen, while the big rock looked as pearlized white as ever. 
 
           Over the years, the trail had been taken over by brush and bushes but the houses which had been designed and built by Li Cheung's great grandfather had strangely withstood the changing times. There was not a roof shattered, a window unhinged, a wall collapsed. It was as if time stood still for Saravia. 

            They landed around lunchtime. An Ning was the first to land after taking a dinghy with Taey. The sea was an astonishing blue green, the water so clear you could see the bottom where the fish frolic and swam. The sand was warm under her shoes, the huge rock looked like an inscrutable monolith under the shade of the mangroves. Everything was quiet and still but An Ning was already expecting the two people that came to meet them as they neared the rock.

          Ceres' eyes went past her daughter to the group of women walking behind her. Her heart gave a painful lurch because she couldn't find a familiar face, even when they came nearer and brushed past her, she couldn't find a familiar face.

          She didn't know she was crying until An Ning came to her side and gave her a fierce hug. The mother turned to her daughter and sobbed brokenly. Their role had reversed. It was now An Ning who gave comfort; and her mother was now the child that needed her protection. 

          When they reached the village, the women silently separated and each went and entered her own house. There was a sort of tingling pleasure in the simple act of opening a gate, opening the door and walking over the threshold of a home that smelt, felt and looked familiar. The village settled again into silence but not the lonely kind.

          Smoke started wafting from the chimneys. The sound of TV came on. The sound of radio. The sound of refrigerators opening. The sound of water running. The sound of laughter. 

           Enxuo had not spent the last twenty years idling by looking only after the imprisoned Ceres. The two of them had concocted a plan especially when they found out about Yu Yan and her tech company. Their revenge needed money, which they had plenty of, they needed to understand technology, which they knew next to nothing about.

            So Enxuo studied and read everything he can about the subject while Ceres studied the ins and outs of the banking system. When Ceres took over a failing credit union bank eighteen years ago, Enxuo was her front man. They needed to get to Yu Yan and one way to do that was to have access and knowledge of her finances. They did that after fifteen years. 

          Yu Yan was a very rich woman whose wealth came from defense and military contracts. Her company was very innovative and governments trust her implicitly.  They knew she was also selling weapons to terrorist groups but as long as the weapons she sold them were faster and deadlier than their enemies, they didn't really care one way or the other.

           The amount of money that passed through Ceres' bank from Yu Yan's several enterprises was staggering. Sometimes, Enxuo was tempted to enact his longed for revenge by destroying Yu Yan financially but he would remember his beloved Merius and the numerous friends he had made among the Amazon tribe since a long, long time ago when he first snuck into that pirate's ship and met Hippolyta. 

         So, he would curb his anger, go back to Saravia and exhaust his energy by trying to preserve the village as it was once when the Amazons lived there in peace and harmony. The trappings of civilization followed not long after. He installed lights, water lines, sewers, build bathrooms, kitchens, lofts.  He repaired windows, shutters, roofs. It was as if all of his actions were not something he had total control of. 

           He would often say to himself it was no use. Merius was lost to him. Ceres will never see her daughter again and the Amazons will never return to Saravia. But some part of him still hoped, still dreamed. So he would buy the latest TV model, the latest 3D refrigerator, the latest gadget, the latest car model and allowed hope to stir his heart again. 

         And after twenty years, here they were all again, breathing the free air of Saravia. Hippolyta was missing. Many Amazons dead. His Merius still brainwashed by Yu Yan but there was also something to be thankful for. Ceres' daughter An Ning, her baby, the new generation of the long line of the Amazon tribe still alive after centuries of war, peace, and war again.

         An Ning went over to him after talking to her parents.

        "Yu Yan came back here years ago supposedly to meet a family member. Do you have any idea why?"

         "Was that the time she returned with Maya?"

         "That's it."

          "She was looking for a book."

          "What book?"

          "On raising the dead."

           "Raising the what?"

          "The dead."

          "Why would she want to raise the dead for?" An Ning frowned. 

          "I don't know because she didn't find the book."

           "Where you here when she came back?"

            "No. She went to see Ceres. To brag about how An Ma married her and about you, who now call her mother. It was very upsetting so the two of them had a screaming match. The book was thrown in the argument because Yu Yan got very angry. But she didn't find the book. Even when she looked for it she didn't find it."

           "Damn that woman," An Ning said furiously. "Damn her and her obsession with magic. She had men killed with her experiments and now she wants to raise the dead. Fuck!"

            "What are you so angry about?" Taey had followed her and frowned when he saw her angry expression.

             "Just letting off steam," An Ning said. She turned to Enxuo. "Merius acts as her right hand man, right?"

            "Yes."

            "Have you ever met with her?"

            Enxuo hesitated.

            "Once I tried to...but your mother stopped me. She thought Yu Yan might have planted some bug in her to spy on her in case...it was too dangerous so we never tried to contact her."

             "She used some kind of a mind trick on the women. It was not very complicated but strong enough to fry their brains. They were kind of zombified when we found them. But I had them drink the water from Hippolyta's grove which seemed to undo the spell."

             Enxuo stared at her, shocked.

             "The water from the grove? You mean the pool?"

             "I have Taey here fill up twelve wooden barrels and gave it to the women to drink.  I experimented on Nyra first and the effects didn't take long. She drank one glass and she remembered everything. She mentioned your name, in fact."

             Enxuo was still frozen in shock.

             "Why didn't I think of it?" he muttered. "Hippolyta once told me the water was enchanted. She said it was filled with her essence so every living thing that surrounded it will never die.  Why didn't I think of it!" the last sentence was uttered in a choked scream as Enxuo became totally unhinged. "I have to get some of the water. The water. I have to have some of it. Merius will drink it and she'll finally remember me. She'll remember our son. She'll remember how he died. I have to go get some of the water."

            Enxuo broke into a run in the direction of the jungle. An Ning followed him, screaming for him to stop. But Enxuo was deaf to her words.  After twenty years, he finally found a way to bring Merius back to him. It had been hell without her. It had been torture to spy on her and never talk to her or never feel her. 

             Enxuo was tired of waiting. He had to go to Merius now and tell her about the Amazons' return. She will come back to him again.  She will remember him. She will remember Trei. She will remember how he died. She will remember how she killed him as he, Enxuo, stood there horrified, watching his wife kill their only son. She will remember both of them.  Otherwise...otherwise...it will be for nothing. 

             Enxuo broke into an anguished sob as the jungle swallowed him. After a while, his cries grew muted and distant. There was no trace of him when An Ning finally entered the jungle a few minutes later.

"I fell in love with you when I was dying."

"I realized I love you when you died."



An Ning never imagined that when she and her husband Richard divorced after he fell in love with another woman on their wedding day that her life would change so dramatically.

Not only did memory loss triggers a complete change in her character, she also finds out her mother is a half wizard and her grandmother is a woman named Hippolyta, the great queen of the Amazons.

Why I will rewrite it?
I asked someone that I know and s/he is a quite a reader to different books but I didn't let him/her read this book yet. So. I asked some advise related to fighting scene to this book and learn some.

I will add the changes and probably change on chapters.

This is first original novel that I write and my English grammar is not quite good enough but I will try to be story as concrete as possible and stay on the plot.

   The sun, the stars, the moon, none of their light was able to reach the world. For the first time in centuries, no external light shone down. For the first time in centuries, Maker grew annoyed. She stood on the other side of the barrier and gathered her mana. Her radiance condensed into a ball the size of her fist. It rushed forward, battering against the barrier only to send a few calm ripples across it. She frowned and held up her hand. Two of her children appeared behind her. The goddess of good and the god of evil both kneeled down. All thoughts of battle were put out of their heads when their parent was angry. "That man…" Maker mumbled. "I thought we destroyed everything." She struck the barrier one last time then turned to face her children. "You both know what this means, right?"
   "Yes ma'am," said the god of evil.
   "Yes mother," said the goddess of good.
   "Then you will both need to separate." She pointed to the central landmass. "When the barrier dissolves, I'll search the main continent while you two get the east and west. I want him or whatever legacy he left behind destroyed." The two children nodded and tried to help pass the barrier ahead of time only to be pushed back. "I guess we have to wait." Maker summoned a chair and sat down. "Even after so much time he continues to be a thorn in my side."

   Doevm was pulled forward, crashing him and Horse into the ground in a dark room. As he got up the doors slammed close. An enormous lock made of an unknown material barred the door. Doevm held his leg, expecting pain to rise up, but it never came. The wound on his leg was healed. He stretched his limb out a couple times to find it was fine. After standing up on it, it was verified he was completely healed. Horse, on the other hand, vaporized. The mental connection was severed.
   'This is either a holy shrine or a sort of safehouse from another race,' Doevm thought. He tried to use his magic to see, but it was blocked. He tried again yet nothing happened.
   As if acting for him, a blinding blue light flooded the surroundings. After his eyes adjusted, he saw the source of the light was a transparent pillar. Inside were masses of blue energy flying around like a tornado. One after another, more pillars lit up on his left and right going down a long hallway. The way back was blocked, so he walked forward on the faded velvet carpet. Massive holes had been ripped in it. Besides the carpet, the floor was made of Ploly (Pl-ole) bricks.
   While the roof forty feet above him was made up of thousands of shining mana crystals, the walls of steel and aluminum to reflect the light, Ploly bricks were unexpected. 'Did the construction crew run out of money half-way through this project?' Doevm thought as he picked one up. Ploly bricks were famously useless. Their melting point was of dirt. They were so soft that one could crush them in their palms. Even Doevm had a hard time believing it was that useless. He had spent a year examining them only to find out they truly were garbage. Yet, despite his failure to find anything useful about Ploly, he knew they were useful for something. It was a material no one knew the origin of. If one used alchemy to split it into its original state, it would not turn into any other base elements. It was its own dark brown material.
   For a few minutes he walked until he got to the edge of the ruins. On the back wall constructed out of pure Ploly bricks were more hieroglyphics that read: "She is watching always. She is watching always. She is watching always. She is watching always." Over and over again. It filled the wall. As he continued to read, the hieroglyphs got more hurried and sloppier. By the end, it was illegible. Embedded into the center was a single book with a dark grey leather cover. The title read: "The game of the Gods, by Maximus Draken".
One hundred and fifteen years ago…
   Arthur walked straight past the two Undead knights guarding the library and into the throne room. "Doevm, are you ready for this week's session?" He took off his gauntlets and leaned his sword against the wall. He made sure not to get close to the bookshelves as this Lich would always get angry whenever his stuff was touched without permission.
   Doevm was in his half-destroyed throne hunched over a book. His skeletal head turned up to meet his instructor. "You're early." He shut the book and handed it to one of his Undead minions. "I guess that means we can spar for longer today." He rolled up the sleeves of his black cloak.
   "You know, I always see you reading the same book, why is that?" Arthur asked.
   "That's unusual," Doevm chuckled. "You interested in a book? What interests you about it?" He motioned for the servant to return. He plucked the book out of its hands and opened it once more.
   "Not just the one." Arthur walked shoulder to shoulder with him. "You mostly read books by the same author, Maximus Draken." He pointed to the signature. "The capital of the Acrin Kingdom is also Draken. What's he so famous for?"
   "That depends." Doevm held the book away from Arthur, afraid that his rough hands would damage the old book. "If you ask humans, they say he was the first hero. If you ask demons, he was the greatest magician. If you ask me, he was a great philosopher." A dozen servants came into the library and bowed with books presented. "Each of these is his work. His theories about mana are fascinating. They've kept me busy for a half a century now, testing each one of them. The most interesting thing about him, however, is that everyone is wrong about him."
   "You mean, he wasn't smart at all?"
   "No, not that." Doevm nearly hit his friend with the book, but that would most likely damage the book more than the hero's thick skull. "No one knows why he was so prominent. He was able to do so many things in his lifetime. It was like he was great at everything. Combat, magic, thinking, building, he did everything. His tombs can still be found around the world, hidden from the public's eyes. When he was at the height of his power, he lost his magic. He was unable to even see it. The kingdom that he built up was taken over. Many of his books were labeled as hearsay and destroyed. No matter how much I find about him, there is no answer to what he actually did to get so strong and who made him crumble. His family was unknown. He had no heirs. Only his accomplishments are known."
   "Sounds harsh." Arthur looked at the rest of the books. "They seem to be getting darker                 as they go. Did you notice that?"
   "What do you mean, the content? There are only a few copies in the world so how could you have read them?" Doevm closed the book.
   "Look at this one." Arthur forcefully yanked the book out of Doevm's skeletal hands. "This is volume one and it is bound in white leather." He picked up the next volume before Doevm could snatch his book back. "This one has a slightly darker cover and its volume two."
   "Ok I get it, now put the books down before I have to kill you." Lightning cackled around his hands. Arthur shrugged and put the books back as dramatically and gently as he could. "It could be because they are getting older or just a coincidence." His blue flame eyes inspected each book. The limit of his collection was at grey. "This means there might be more…" He picked up the last book and mumbled to himself, "That means his theories continue. From the latest volume I was able to invent light magic. What happens if I get my hands on the latest volumes?" He put them back down and shooed his servants away. "I'll investigate this matter later. Our time is limited. Let's spar." He went for a quick jab. Arthur ducked. "This is for touching my stuff!" He executed a combination attack against air.
   Arthur got into a stance: "I am going to touch e-ve-ry-thing after I win."
Back to the present…
   The book was a trap. It had to be a trap. Doevm knew deep in his heart that such an elaborate hallway was just to make him more impatient. His magic was sealed, and he had no idea as to why. Since there was no exit to this place, only the book, it was obvious that picking up the book was what the maker of this ruin intended. He grabbed the book and opened to the first page. Right on cue, a trap activated. A soft repeating clinking went down the hallway. The pillars cracked. The blue swirling mist burst out and rushed toward Doevm, who was zoned out. His eyes were glued to the first line: "Instruction for basic soul magic."

"Screw magic, I want to learn how to do cool flips and stuff." Magic is awesome, until you've studied it for centuries. Doevm reincarnates into a human to experience the path of a fighter to its fullest and swears not to rely on magic. There is only one problem, a goddess stands in his way. She pits him against both the hero and the villain for all of eternity. How will he escape this, with magic or his fists? Standing in the Divine Family Library he looked around and found over 100,000 Books ranging from the Alchemy to Inscription patterns and from Martial Arts to Cultivation manuals. Looking at all the books made him feel giddy.

'Shame So much knowledge just left here to gather dust. Hais, these shall become my stepping stones for my glorious future.'

Ryu quickly went to a corner of the Library and started going through the books one by one. 

He picked up an Alchemy book for apprentice and started going through it page by page, it took him about 20 min to go through a single book. After reading that, he willed to enter his Library of Heaven's Path and when he opened his eyes he found himself in front of a big white Palace whose dimensions can not be defined with a Golden Door just in front of Ryu's mental projection. He looked up and found some characters written in the Divine Language which he can feel that it means 'Library of Heaven's Path'.

Going inside the Palace he saw rows and rows of bookshelves though they were empty except a single one which contained a single book that he just read 'Alchemy for Apprentice I'

He went to the book and picked it up and called out, "Flaw"

And then came a response,
{78 Flaws detected.....
1. Soul Force should be used from the Ding-xi point rather than the Mon-xi point.
2. ... }

He couldn't help but smile.

Reading through Hundreds of Thousands of book one by one will take him years to incorporate the knowledge which only belonged to just the Divine Family while the Holy Orchid Institute's Library was left to be collected. 

So, instead of reading the books one-by-one he started moving on the book's spine and found out that he can still store the books in his Library of Heaven's Path.

After collecting over 5000+ books he confirmed that this was his limit for good uncultivated self.

He returned back to his room and sat cross-legged on his bed. Then he entered his Library of Heaven's Path to compile his days work. 

...City Lord Mansion...

Outside the City Lord Courtyard Chen Zhenglong could be seen walking at a fast pace towards the gate along with a couple of Divine Family's Guard.

Looking at the Patriarch of one of the Major Family of Glory City rushing towards the gate the gate keepers didn't do anything other than one of them rushing back inside while the other respectfully saluted the Patriarch of the Divine Family.

"Greetings, Lord Chen! May I know your pleasant reason for visiting us on this beautiful day." He didn't dare to be disrespectful other than being a Patriarch of a Major Family he himself was one of the six Black-Gold Rank Demon Spiritualist of the Divine Family who can kill him with a swath of his wrist.

"It's nothing that important just something to discuss between us brother for the future of Glory City" He chuckled and continue to enter the guard without waiting for a response from the guard. 

Not even 2 minutes inside the Courtyard he came face to face with Ye Zong, the City Lord.

"Ah, Brother Chen greetings! How may I welcome you in. Come lets talk with drinking the Spirit Nurtuting Tea. It's one of the latest thing herbs that father brought back from his latest trip in the St. Ancestral Mountain." Ye Zong laughed and started walking towards a different building surrounded by flowers and trees from almost all sides and just by being near them it will feel like you're Spirit is calming and have a peaceful feeling.

Though Chen Zhenglong wanted to retort about wether the so called Spirit Nurturing Tea will be that good compared to Divine Family's Holy Dark Grass but he still controlled himself and focused on the most important thing for the time being.

After the maid came and put the so called Spirit Nurturing Tea infront of him and Ye Zong and went away only then did he start talking about his agenda for this visit after making sure no one else were present other than him, Ye Zong and his Ye Xiu.

"It's nothing just to let you know that I checked Ryu'er Soul Realm and it turns out to be an Azure Soul Realm never before seen in the Glory City and that I would like to know how far is City Lord and Snow Wind Family is going to go in order to support Glory City's future." Zhenglong put forward proposition forward and calmly drank the tea.

Ye Zong was surprised but didn't let it show on his face. He was really surprised that their can be someone in the Glory City who really has the fabled Azure Soul Realm.

"Its not that I don't believe brother Chen but I would like to confirm with my on eyes if what you said is really true as it may welcome a new Legend Rank to Glory City." He also wished that it was really true because if it was as Chen Zhenglong said then Glory City will have another Legend Rank and he could help but feel butterfly fleeting in his stomach.

Chen Zhenglong just shrugged his shoulders and stood up, "If you want you can follow me to check back on Ryu'er." 

Ye Zong didn't said anything and just stood up and followed behind Zhenglong to the Divine Family with Elder Ye Xiu in tow.

....Divine Family Library....

Ryu'er went back to the Library after finding that this was the period when the City Lord's wife was poisoned and that he could try to save her so as to score some point from Ye Zong and the Snow Wind Family so that they do not try to become his obstacles in the future when he tries to interact with Ye Ziyun.

He decided that he will try to take as much beautiful yet strong females from the main story line as possible. If someone asks him a reason for this, then the answer will be really simple. He just wants to, so he will. It's in the nature of young people. 

"Let's see the Poison treatment methods first and then I will continue with the rest." Thinking so he went to the Cure and Treatment branch of the Library and continued updating his Heaven's Path Library. 

As he finished recording the Cures and treatment part of the Library he started going through the Meridians and Cultivation Technique Manual. 

After storing another 6000 Books in his Library he went back to his Room again to Compile the evening's harvest.

He didn't know but he was waiting for his surprise in the later of the evening.
