It was evening of 14th march when I came home at 6:00 pm as usual news of coronavirus spreading was being telecasted. In my state about 24 cases were already confirmed, my college bus pass was expiring on 15th of the month so, I had to buy a new one on monday otherwise i was not allowed in bus. Completing manuals, microprojects and studying for exams was to be done in a short period of 15 days till 30th as from 31st exams would start, but our luck had it planned otherwise for us as that evening I received call from my fried that the state government issued order that stated about schools and colleges remaining closed till 31st, now the problem was when should we submit our lab manuals?will the classtest scheduled on 26th and 27th be conducted?What will hapeed of those unfinished chapters, do we need to prepare them ourselves?

Those were obvious questions from students but not from me as from starting I never took my studies in college seriously. Instead as teachers switched off their phones, all the questions were bombarded on me. The me who was the only person to not care about the exams was forced to answer their questions. Originally everyone seemed to be frightened about their examination scores but soon it all cooled down and my conference calls with others also became few.

Everything went smoothly, even after PM Modi announced Janta Curfew everything was alright it seemed that things will take turn for good, even the place where I live seemed to be silenced at 5o'clock when the clock struck 5 applauds were heard even a kid who is no more than 3 years old was clapping for the heroes who are risking their lives for our sake. But the next day people seemed to forget about the novel coronavirus some shook it out saying that they had good immunity and others were unaware of the gravity of the situation.

When PM once again addressed the country it was not just a Janta Curfew of one day but a 21 day strict lockdown. City and State borders were sealed anyone who did not come under the essential needs was neither allowed entry nor was allowed to leave, it created panic condition those workers who came to metrocities for search of job and those who earned their living though daily wages said that "We don't know whether coronavirus will kill us or not but hunger will definitely do".

I am just a student and I love to read, watch Korean drama and who is a die heart fan of BTS.
It is indeed hard for someone like me who is very different from other classmate moreover being a fresher in India a great problems..
Since last time I was found while writing my diary by my mother I quit writing it in any book so now i look for a digital platform to write...
This book wold be more like my everyday life at college...

"Silv— Sir, how can I help you?" asked Jade, after a slight slip of the tongue.

Ema have downloaded some of the photos of Daniel for personal purposes on her laptop. The crush that Ema have for Daniel is currently growing as she seeks more information online about Daniel. "Ema, are you ready for having vacation before you go off to college?" said Amelia as she walk pass the bedroom door to sit beside Ema. "Hey! Daniel's photo? Really? Having that big crush on him??" said Amelia as she pressure the feelings of Ema. "Mama, I am ready and excited to have vacation with you and papa. Hm, mama stop joking around about the photo of Daniel. Isn't it obvious that I really like him. It's nice that I have a copy of the photo so even if without an internet at least I can still see his face." said Ema lovingly at the last photo that she downloaded.

"Hahaha, Ema darling. Oh! You are cheeks are like cherry when you blush like that. Now ... now... hm maybe I'll share your little crush to Daniel. Eh? What you think?"said Amelia to her daughter teasingly. "NOOO! Mama, don't ever share with him about having a crush on him! That's ridiculous!" said Ema defensively to her mother. "So going back to the vacation, Ema you must pack light things only since the vacation will be aan out of town preferably with beautiful sunset on. So have you pictured out what it will be like?" said Amelia to her daughter that still have a bear hug on her. Amelia smiled lovingly to her daughter that will soon experience her own struggles that will come to her life. "Oh by the way before I forget. Ema, this is something I get for you. This is a journal where you can write your thoughts on it and by time it will be a start to see you life unfold." said Amelia to her daughter as she held out the journal to her daughter.

"Thanks for this mama, I will surely love to write down whatever happen to me and at the same time have a look at the times that I treasured most. By the way so the vacation that we will have soon is on the beach then, eh? But I bet it is far away. Hm?" said Ema testing her mother to spill some info for the upcoming vacation. " Hahaha, Ema my dear. You will surely love the place as this is a parting gift in a way for you from us. Hope your father have not overdo it. He surely put his thoughts to this family vacation that we will soon have." said Amelia to her daughter giving her some space to think and as she went for the bedroom door to leave.

"Ema , again just pack lightly. I mean it and don't bother to pack so much things. Just enjoy and have a light package with you. Will you?" ask Amelia in a concern tone to her daughter as she knows her daughter that loves to pack everything. It's like getting the entire closet on vacation! Which was totally bizarre, Amelia smile to her thoughts as she left Ema's bedroom. As her mother left the room, Ema was left alone thinking what is the possible things to bring. She get a piece of paper to write down the necessities and the outfits on mind to bring with. 

So Ema have make a list for what to bring for a vacation possibly a beach that was on her mind:
1. Swimsuit
Perhaps one of the most essential things to pack for beach vacation as Ema been searching for at least five sets.  

2. Swim Cover Up 
Also, when packing for beach holiday, you will need of course a swimsuit cover as Ema is checking every swim cover up she have for her five sets of swim wear that she set aside.  Ema is thinking to herself and considering the possible scenery that she might went into. "This is perfect for wearing down to the beach, but you might prefer a sarong as you can also use this to cover your shoulders or legs if your visiting anywhere that has temples or monasteries." said Ema as she chose some decent cover up and some few are sexy.

3. Shorts
"I will bring 2 to 3 comfortable pairs of shorts for wearing down to the beach or walking around town." said Ema in an excited tone as she pictured out what she will do.

4. Tank Tops 
"Hm, maybe I will only need around 3 tops which I can mix and match with my shorts." thinks Ema to herself.

5. Dresses 
" Hm, I think my parents will have an evening night so I will prefer wearing dresses over shorts, I will just bring 1-2 casual sun dresses." comment Ema to herself and picturing out the past formal dinner that she have with her parents.

6. Pants and Jacket
"Hm, If the nights will get cold, I will bring a pair of pants to keep warm and I may also need to bring a light jacket in case it gets a bit cool or windy at night.  A rain jacket may also be worth while if we are going somewhere that often has down pours, particularly during wet season.  Maybe 3 in 1 jackets are perfect as they keep me warm and protect myself from the rain too." said Ema to herself while considering her options.

7. Underwear!
"Hm! Duh! I will bring 2 bras and a pair of knickers for each day. So maybe for a week (7 days) , It comes around 14 pairs .... hahaha just in case I'll bring an extra..." said Ema jokingly to herself.

8. Next will be my footwear....
Flip Flops --- my time at the beach or by the pool..
Sandals  --- for walking around town, shopping or going out for dinner.
Water Shoes  --- At some beach destinations there can be a lot of rocks and coral on the beaches so a pair of slip on mesh beach shoes can be useful items to pack to protect my feet. 

9. Beach Essentials... (Wants)
Beach Hat  --- A big sun hat of course to protect my skin from burning.
Beach Towel  --- Maybe one with microfibres that is lightweight and dries fast. Another reason I like it is that the sand won't stick on it.
Sunglasses  --- it's a must to see through the sun... heat is so coming over...
Water Bottle  --- we all know the devastating consequences plastic bottles have on the environment, so make sure you bring along a refillable water bottle.  I like to have one that won't leak and has a clasp on it so I can attach it my day bag.

10. Bags! .. Hehehe... I literally need it to store my things...
Beach Bag --- to put all my Beach Essentials items in it.
Packing Cubes --- to put all my Underwear in it so it will still be organize.
Toiletry Bag --- to keep all my toiletries in

11. Toiletries ... Hm... I need to keep it simple..
Sunscreen --- a good quality sunscreen to protect my face and body is one of the vital things needed for beach vacation.
Make Up --- personal choice but I will bring whatever I might need for a night out with my parents..
Moisturizing Cream --- some moisturizing cream for my face, eyes and body, the sun and sea tend to make the skin dry.
A Razor -- for my unwanted hair...
Shampoo and Conditioner --- A small travel size, enough for one week is plenty.
Body Wash  --- i prefer to bring my own although I find some free items to one of our recent location...
Toothpaste and Toothbrush --- Duh! Brush my teeth after meals and before going to bed...
Hair Brush and Hair Ties -- for my messy bun to be control...
Deodorant --- It can get very hot in the sun, so I won't want to forget this one!

12. Electronics
Mobile Phone --- mobile phone so I can keep in touch with social media. Especially stalking my Daniel!
Camera --- take plenty of photographs for my memories. 
Memory cards --- one for the camera and one for as a backup!
Travel Adapter --- may need to bring a plug adaptor
Headphones --- listening to music or streaming movies on my phone whilst lying by the pool or whilst traveling
Chargers / Power Bank  --- various chargers I need to keep my tech gear charged and I bring a charger to keep all of my electronics fully charged throughout my trip

Looking at the lists that Ema made for herself, she is satisfied that she will definitely have a good time. As far as Ema is concern this is the minimalist that she can get to pack her things for vacation as she smiled and getting on with the things on the list to be ready.

The Life as we know it. People have shared stories throughout. It might not be perfect for some but still it is life worth living for. Some people have a perfect life but are they happy?

     "Hmm, I came to think of it after going through this incident that... um... Well, it's not about like I felt how precious our life is..." When I noticed the sudden change on Eun Jiho's face, I quickly added, "It's just that I came up with this thought after going through such things this time and listening to what others said."
     "What kind of thought did you have?"
     "You guys keep changing, but it seems only me, who has remained the same."
     Eun Jiho became speechless for a second. Holding the swing ropes, I lowered myself and dug the sand with my toe again. 
     I continued, "I actually was aware of it, so it wasn't like I wasn't able to change even if I tried to do so."

     "In the end, I didn't want to change. I was afraid of it."
     Pulling my chin up high, I looked up at the sky full of dark clouds, then I detached my lips again.
     "However, life isn't something like a book or video, so when we start to have feelings or if something happens, we can't rewind it."
     I then swallowed the words I had left unspoken.
     If we have a crush on someone, we couldn't return to the time when it didn't happen. In other words, when a character inside a story began to have some feelings, it always became a starting point of change.  
     I held the swing ropes with a tight grip then slightly tilted my head to look at Eun Jiho.
     I continued, "But one day, when I came to myself, I realized that you guys were already way too far ahead."
     "What?"
     "Think about it. You and Jooin..."
     Eun Jiho then looked as if he was lost in thought. He would know best how many changes he had undergone.
     Back then, when we were freshmen in middle school, Eun Jiho was sharp, and he sought perfection in everything. He was still a perfectionist but utterly different from the Eun Jiho in the past. Thinking about him back then, Eun Jiho usually reminded me of Procrustes in the Greek myth, the horrifying monster who attacked people by stretching them or cutting off their legs to force them to fit the size of an iron bed. Likewise, Eun Jiho, at that time, had no tolerance or understanding. 
     Having that thought in mind, I suddenly burst into laughter. If Eun Jiho was the same as he was before, we wouldn't be sitting here side by side and talking about our future. The only people he might consider as his equal during a conversation would be just the Four Heavenly Kings and Ban Yeo Ryung. Maybe Yi Ruda could also belong among them.
     However, he might not put me in that league. 
     If I asked him for my career counseling at best, Eun Jiho wouldn't have to deal with me by saying that it was because of my lack of effort. Eun Jiho, a hard worker, was as strict with others as he was in his efforts.
     So was Jooin. He began to reveal his true colors, at least, in front of us, even though he started to behave that way quite recently. It was fortunate that there were people around him who could tell Jooin just how sweet and kind he was even without him pretending to be nice. 
     I spread my fingers and folded then one by one.
     "I clearly see that Eun Hyung looks more comfortable than before, and so is Chun Young. He has notably changed compared to what he looked like in the beginning." 
     "Yoo Chun Young??"
     Asking back, Eun Jiho tilted his head. He didn't seem to have spotted any difference in Yoo Chun Young, unlike the change he discovered in other boys. 
     Yikes, I smiled aimlessly then replied, "Maybe his communication ability?"
     "Did it increase?" 
     'Is that what we call an increased ability?' Ignoring his usual, sarcastic remark, I turned my head to somewhere else then concluded my words.
     "Anyway, Yoo Chun Young really did change. Maybe he became more patient as he got older. Isn't there any term for something like that?"
     Eun Jiho, beside me, replied while looking dumbfounded, "Didn't he pass the time to be more patient with age?"
     "But he changed a bit nevertheless. He seems notably different than before."
     Looking at Eun Jiho as he roughly shook his head, I frowned. Geez, why was Eun Jiho not accepting it?
     I, however, also came to realize the change in Yoo Chun Young recently, which was through the conversation I had with him at the party and the short phone call we had lately. Thus, it wasn't that strange for Eun Jiho to not notice such a difference in Yoo Chun Young.
     Anyway, I kept on speaking.
     "And lastly, I could feel that Ban Yeo Ryung's mind is getting stronger as years go by, but I'm the only one getting left behind... I keep having struggles and repeating those things endlessly."
     Even if I was aware of that, it was, however, still not easy to choose change.
     Of course, there would be some retrievable changes, which would let me return to the time when things were unchanged. Some transitions were, however, irreversible that I wouldn't be able to return to the time before then.
     That was what I feared, so I...
     "I want to do something like recording or archiving things."
     Eun Jiho, who was listening to my words from beside me, looked goofy.
     "What?"
     "You know, something like photography or writing..."

As the translator, I've enjoyed translating this novel and I hope to bring the essence of what the author has tried to portray into the chapters you will read.
To sum it up in 3 words: Mechs! Explosions! Science!
To be perfectly honest, this novel is about your typically overpowered protagonist who does get looked down from time to time but always overcomes the odds with his own special power. He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense.
Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this.
The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is.
It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.


More importantly, every woman tended to cut contact from Ling Hong after they broke up. After all, they had loved each other before. 
"This girl is different from others. We loved each other the most before," Ling Hong said confidently. 
"It might be true for others, but for you, I don't think so," Wu Hai said affirmatively, "Did you ever have true love?" 
"You described every relationship as your true love." Even Sister Wan couldn't help mocking at him. 
"It's not the same. This one is different." Ling Hong shook his head.
