Bachelor's Pad revolves around the men living on a five floor apartment (condo-type) building owned by Maki Frias, an elusive millionaire  living at the top floor (But the people living in there doesn’t know he's a millionaire except one. They just know that he's a recluse, with a genius of a brain when it comes to information technology). It is located at the heart of the city but not as noticeable as other residential  buildings.  The building looks normal on the outside but it is high-tech and modern on the inside with very tight security.  That’s why those who prefer extreme privacy and safety wants to live there.

But there is a catch. This building is exclusively for men only at ang pwede lang tumira doon ay iyong personal na nirekomenda ng isang residente ng building. Bawal din magpapasok ng babae sa building. That is because Maki Frias is said to be a woman hater that he doesn’t want any woman inside his building.  So when a man decides to live there, he must sign a contract that states that he abides that rule.  

But what if they fall in love?

The reporter said, "Everyone who is watching this live broadcast, Master Lin is now touching the Supreme Tiger Electronic Fingerprint Door. The atmosphere here is very grave. Although Chief Zhong has confidence in his product, we can see that he is very nervous as the person he is challenging today is Master Lin."

"Mel. Can I call you Mel? Look, the town's in chaos now. Me and Zack here wanted to ditch you at first, but seeing you running madly like your life depended on it, we thought that we could do some good once in our lifetime!" (Chai)

Chai laughed while Melissa looks at him and whispered to herself "Unbelievable."

"Chai, tone it down. Melissa, we have our own plans to follow and we might not be capable of protecting you. What do you want to do next?" (Zack)

Melissa became silent and began thinking.

Truth to be told, she has no idea what to do. She wanted to call her father, but she left all her belongings back at a hipster cafe called "Alchemist" where she went for her date.

When she saw that people started attacking each other, the turmoil spread to the cafe's area and her date was unfortunate to get bitten on his right heel.

It lead to her running all the way to the housing areas nearby, where Zack and Chai saved her from her zombified date.


"Mr.Zack, i-if it's okay with you...can I borrow your phone? I'd like to call my family." (Melissa)

"Sure. Chai, pass her my phone." (Zack)

Chai went on to search for Zack's phone in the glove compartment, and when he was about to hand her the phone "That'll be 5 dollars per minute." (Chai)

Chai smiled and looked at her mischievously, while Melissa narrows her eyes. 

(OMG, what an annoying guy!!)

"Sorry..I don't have my purse right now..I lost them when I was running.." (Melissa)

"HUH?! No money?! Aah..Zack's precious phone battery and calling credit..who knows when will we have electricity and cellphone connection anymore in the future??!! Aii..that is why youngsters nowadays...sigh-" (Chai)

Veins starts to pop up on her forehead. 

(Bloody little brat..you're younger than me and you're calling me a youngster?! Aren't YOU a youngster too? Why I oughta-)

Just when Melissa was about to voice her dissatisfaction "Chai, we're here. Just give her the phone. We got work to do." (Zack)

"YAS!! Here Mel, catch!" (Chai)

Chai threw the phone to Melissa but miscalculated his strength, and the cellphone accidently hit her boobs!

"HEY!!" Melissa furiously shouted as her healthy womanly mounds felt the force from Chai's throw. Her approximately D-Cup assets underneath a high quality, white shirt with the red SUPREME print in the middle trembled as though an ocean wave gently splashed on the ocean.

Zack told Melissa to stay in the car and watch out for the surroundings. They agreed to discuss their next plan of action once they returned.

"If we're not out in an hour, run far away from here."

Zack locked the car together with Melissa inside. If they did not return in another 60 minutes, she could unlock the car from inside and escape.

For now, she chose to stay in the car.


"You did it on purpose, didn't you?" said Zack indifferently to his best friend.

"I swear I couldn't control my strength. Heh, didn't you enjoyed the jiggling too?Hahaha!" said Chai with a slow wink. Chai knew that since his best buddy had his senses supercharged, he would notice what happened.

"Alright, no more nonsense! Focus. The shop's at Level 1, and so far, I have yet to detect any zombies around. But just to be careful, I'll go on ahead and you cover my back." (Zack)

"Got it." (Chai)

Smokes and screams could be seen about 8 kilometers away from the Firearms Shop. 

Zack deduced that most of undeads has gone to the center of commercial area after being attracted by the loud noises, rendering this particular commercial building secluded.

The red atmosphere, with neither both the sun or the moon could be seen, provided minimal lighting to the surroundings. It was as if the world was at an eternal sunset.

Premier Firearms Shop is currently closed. 

"Can you break the lock?" (Zack)

Zack is an electrical engineer, which he was supposed to start his first job a few weeks after today as a 22 year-old freshly graduated employee.

To avoid the alarms going off, he disarmed the shop's auxiliary and central alarm system.

"Few hours ago, I might say no. But right now?" (Chai)

CREAAAAK…..SWACK!

Chai exerted his body strength, gripping the lock with his right hand and started pulling it.

The lock slowly stretch...and it snapped after the tensile strength of Chai's body force exceeded its maximum rigidity.

"I'd say you could easily have a force of 500 kg and above!" (Zack)

"Maybe I should go to a gym to test it out…" (Chai)

As the lock broke, they opened the shops door slowly to reduce noise.

Once inside, Zack switched the lights on.

Their eyes adjusted to the room's layout. It is a simple 1,800 square feet shop with a weapons vault and a front desk.

Zack went to the only door behind the reception counter, and pushed it in.

What greeted his sight was a dark grey safe, standing tall and looking tough to break. 

Zack began to think of a way to break the safe. 

"And here I thought it was that easy breaking into the weapons shop. Looks like these people aren't stupid after all." (Chai)

"Hm..it's a double-locking mechanism vault. It has to be activated with both electronic password and manually turn the dial. Sh*t, now things are complicated." (Zack)

Zack wracked his brain on how to open the safe. 

He doesn't have the sufficient tools & software to hack electronic system.

He doesn't know how to crack a manually-turned safe lock.

He doesn't have any tools to forcefully open the vault.

He doesn't have explosives to blast the door out.

(Dammit..if only I have powers to melt steel vaults right now…!!)

Zack cursed in his heart for his weakness.

"Chai, I don't have any ways to crack the safe open. Sigh...did we come here for nothing?"

Chai saw his best friends face. He know it very well, he makes that face when he feels helpless.

"Well bro, I am strong you know." Chai grinned and started putting his right hand on his left waist, as if condensing some invisible power within the body to the fist.

Chai took a deep breath. "Huu-up!"

He then released the punch towards the locking pad of the vault. A strong, fast blurry shadow of a fist flew through the air and landed on the locking pad!

CRRAAACKKKK!!! *bzzt* bzzt*

He succeeded! He broke the lock!!

"CHAIIII!!!!  M-f*ker you awesome son of gun!!!  HAHAHA you did it!!" (Zack)

(I did it alright...but man my hands are numb!!) 

Thought Chai to himself, rubbing his knuckles as the impact made Chai felt the vibrations all over his body.

"Bro, how did you figure out to destroy the locking pad instead of the door?" (Zack)

"The doors are usually the toughest part, but since electronic pad panels must be made from something softer or lighter to enable the wiring and sensor, isn't it sensible that it's easier to break?" (Chai)

Zack did not thought about that.

"But how are we gonna solve the manual lock dial part? It doesn't look like its made of the same material too." (Zack)

Fuc*! I totally didn't thought of that!

Chai started to realize the flaw in his action.

Zack analyzed the vault again. He went to the vault and performed some knocking tests. He knocked on all parts of the vault, including the ceiling, wall & floor.

Then he got an idea.

Zack spoke to Chai about the idea. Chai gave it a thought for a few seconds, and then said "I don't see the harm of trying."

The brothers' eyes grew larger when they saw the shop's firearms collections!

Although the amount is not that much considering its a medium scale shop, they have quite the variety.

Bulletproof vests, military boots, tactical flashlights, BDU pants, boonie hats, defence sprays, riot gear, military and combat knives, combat helmets, night vision goggles, binoculars, cameras, pistol grips and holsters, magazine and shell holders, recoil pads, slings, swivels, clamps, rail kits and many more were also acquired.

They found a few big bags made of military-grade fabric, which seems to be quite durable.

"Bro, it's gonna take too much time if we go through the stairs to move all these inside the car." (Chai)

"Heh, who said we're gonna take the stairs?" (Zack)

Zack explained to Chai that they're going to stuff as much items they can in the bags, and instead of transporting them one at a time, they're gonna throw them over from the first floor to the ground.

Back into the car, Melissa was getting restless. It is already 10.54 PM, almost 50 minutes has passed since they left her alone in the car.

Melissa has called her father, and felt glad that all her family members are safe and sound. 

Her father advised her to be wary of other people in this time of apocalypse, especially people who seemed too good to be true.

She told her father everything that happened. Her father wanted to know the full names of the men who seemingly saved her precious daughter's life, but she only knows their nickname.

Melissa was startled and about to scream, when Chai opened the door swiftly and shut it again.

Her eyes met Chai's sharp eyes, and Chai stared back at her with an eyebrow up.

The world is ending! 99.9% of the world population became zombies! But eh, why does it look like I have powers from my favorite character?

After English class was over, I waited until almost everybody except the two nice people I met earlier left the classroom before gathering my things, and making my way to my next class. 

    After most of the class had gone, I got out of my seat and started gathering my books. As I stuffed my navy-blue sketch pad into my backpack, I began to remember the day it was given to me. It was before I had started school. Before my parents started wishing I had never been born….. Before I stopped speaking. 

    It was my fourth birthday when I recieved my sketch pad. I had so many presents, but the one that stuck out to me most was a medium sized box neatly wrapped in light-purple wrapping-paper, and topped with a silver bow. Back then light purple was my favorite color. And silver things fascinated me.

    "Which present do you want first princess lamia?" My father asked, in an affectinat tone. 

    I immediately pointed to the present I had been eyeing. I always loved drawing and coloring, so it was no suprise that my parents had gotten me the sketch pad I had been asking for all year long.

    "Thank you Mommy and Daddy!" I cried out, almost to the point of tears. 

    "Oh baby girl, your welcome. Mommy and Daddy love you so much!" My parents said in unison. 
    
     That was one of my favorite memories. But that memory brought me more pain then any other memory I had. It reminded me of how things were before I started school. My parents loved me then, and it hurt me deeply to know that if I would have been more like my sister my parents would still love me. 
    
     Suddenly I saw Malachi's hand reach and grab one of my books and place it in my backpack. This pulled me out of my happy yet painful memory. Following shortly after Malachi's hand, another hand, the hand of my protector, as she had proven to be grabbed one of my books and placed it in my backpack. 


   "Sorry I didn't get to introduce myself before Lamia. My name is Melanie Smith, it's very nice to meet you. And as you already know, thanks to his late entry, this is my friend Malachi." She said, then looking at Malachi stuck her tongue out at him.


   Malachi's quickly sprang from his mouth. 


    "At least I didn't trip, crash into a desk, spill a young ladies drink on her, and headbutt her while trying to pick up her books the first day I came to school. Like someone I know." 

     Melanie stuck her tongue out and closed her eyes in response.


   "So Lamia, are you on the messaging app Propsite? If you are, I can message you when we are not at school. And if we ever get teamed up for an assignment, we can work on it while we are at our houses."  

   Melanie asked, with such excitement you'd think I had just promised to give her a puppy. 

     
    "For your sake Lamia, I will try my best to make sure you are never stuck working with her." Malachi said, looking at Melanie while sticking his tongue out. 


    As I watched Malachi and Melanie pick on each other, I realized I hadn't laughed this much in a very long time. 

  
   "No, b-but I don't mind d-downloading it on my ph-phone." I answered, laughing slightly and trying my best not to stutter. 

  
    "OK. That sounds great, I'll write down my information so you can contact me when you download it." Melanie responded, as she took a piece of paper and a pen from her backpack.. 

    After writing down her information, she handed the pen to Malachi. 

 
    "Malachi you have Propsite too, right?" She inquired, with a mischievous grin on her face. I had the feeling she was up to something, but I wasn't sure what it was yet.


     "Yes, I do. I'll write my information down for you as well Lamia. You may contact me whenever you like." He said softly, not taking his eyes off me until he  grabbed the pen from Melanie's hand. 

     
     "T-thank you M-Malachi." I stuttered. 


    It was embarrassing to stutter, but even more when in front of Malachi. It seemed as though the room had been turned into a huge oven, it was so hot.        

    
     With a little bit of a giggle, he looked up at me with his beautiful eyes. "No problem." 

 
      I couldn't help but blush when I thought of how silly I must have sounded to both of them. It's not easy making a good first impression when you stutter like Porky the Pig.


     "Welp, I better get to Math class." With a groan, Melanie ran to her locker and on to Math class. 


      There I was, in the English room with the most handsome boy in the whole class. I felt as though I was melting. 

 
      "So, where did you go to school before this?" He asked, still writing down his information. 

  
      "M-Maryville city S-school." I replied slowly, in an atempt to avoid stuttering. 


      "How did you like it there?" He asked, still writing down his information for me.

   
      As his questioning went on, I began to feel less nervous. I was still stuttering a little but not near as much as I had been. Malachi seemed to have a way of calming my nerves, just as Melanie did, but in a more quiet way.


     "It was nice, b-but loud." I said, looking at his eyes, which seemed glued to the piece of paper he was writing on.

    
      As he finished writing, he gave me the piece of paper he had been writing on, and went to his desk to grab his own backpack. 

         
      "Well, since we have the same class next, do you want to walk with me to my locker? Then we will make our way to class." 

    
       I was so happy he asked me, nobody at my last school ever wanted anything to do with me cause I was the weird quiet girl. Without giving it a second thought, I grabbed my backpack and with a stutter accepted his invitation to walk with him. 

She raced over and saw Shen Biqiong's car parked by the roadside from afar.
On a snowy night, Shen biqiong stood alone in front of the house. She looked up at the house and did not move. She just stood there quietly for a long time before turning around and driving away.
"Aunt and the Qiao Family Know Each Other? " He lanjin thought to herself, but she was basically certain.
Otherwise, how could she have seen this diamond ring? Her expression was a little strange, and she immediately left without her.
In her impression, even if Shen Biqiong had a big matter, she would not leave without her in a hurry.

Ignoring his own stupidity he carries on and finally reaches a large metal door. He touches it but pulls his hand back as the door appears to be super cooled.
.This might prevent people touching but it makes it rather brittle don't you think?.
Zach looks at the pad to find any electronics but only finds heat regulators that appear to be on the inside of the room.
Look more closely at the door there is a complex locking system that must have over ten keys needed...

A keychain with no keys on it appears out of nothing and plops on the floor,
.Where is the key...?
Zach approaches one of the locks with the keychain and a really long key forms on it, Zach wraps his hand in cloth to prevent it getting too cold and inserts the key.
Click, click... Click
One of the locks unlock, the key just used doesn't disappear and remains on the keychain...
.So if i unlock too many locks i won't have any space on the chain anymore?.
[Likely]
He ignores this fact and continues using keys until the door unlocks. The massive metal doors creak open revealing the interior of the room.

Zach is dumbfounded by the sight, inside is a nursery playground type thing with cameras everywhere. It is currently freezing but Zach continues to looks around, he spies what looks like an incubation chamber with a large egg inside. It is red with black spots speckled around, it seems to be giving off heat on it's own which seems weird for an unhatched egg.
Zach gets closer and is surprised by the size of the egg it's atleast 2ft.
He uses the pad to loop the cameras and unlock the chamber, he does so without issue and grabs the egg... The heavy weight is not a worry to Zach but getting out of the basement is.
He begins to walk back taking note of all the traps he had disabled previously.
Reaching the ladder dim voices can still be heard from above, Zach reckons he can phase two more times without passing out.
He carries the egg in the bag behind him while climbing the ladder, he gets to the hatch and starts phasing. He pokes his head through the door and realises that no one is here, he completely gets through and confirms that the voices are from upstairs.
.Shit, Kido!.
He runs up the stairs and spots around twenty guards outside the double doors waiting to get in, looking through the window the officer seems to be full of green gas.
.System is the gas poisonous?.
[Likely]
.Can i get through it?.
[Unlikely]

.Fine!, Zach gets the cyanide pill from earlier and throws it into his mouth. A savage pain starts to build in his body but he ignores it as he waits for a notification...

The pain slowly fades and Zach bursts into action, he runs towards the back of the guards and phases through all of them and the door exhausting him. 
When he enters his gills seems to be sucking in the gas ravishingly causing Zach to unconsciously close them.
Peering round the room he spots Kido in his previous spot with a rag rapped around his face, he looks unconscious.
Zach picks up his bag, flash drive and all the files that they were planning to take and punches a hole through the computer.
He picks up Kido's small frame in a princess carry he walks towards a barred window with a lock on it.
He uses the skeleton key to unlock it and proceeds to jump out,
Crack!
Due to the weight of Kido and the egg combined Zach accidentally misjudges the distance and Kido's arm touches the floor before he does causing it to break savagely.
He starts running on the route they planned out before, he ignores the gawking people watching the ninja in burned clothing carrying an egg on his back and another ninja in a princess carry. He enters the woods and circles round making his way towards the mansion, no sirens or alarms go off due to the cover of it still being a school but Zach knows that he has stolen something valuable.
He reaches the back entrance of the Mansion and gets inside, searching Kido's bag for the keys to the hideout he unlocks it and puts Kido down on a sofa while trying to set the bone by tying the electric rod to it and keeping it straight.
Zach sets down the egg, sits down next to Kido and passes out.
