Hieroglyphics were created 5,000 years ago as the script in ancient Egypt. 

Today, people believed that Egyptian scripts were the world's oldest writing. They were not only the oldest writing, but also the longest-used script in the world. The Narmer Palette, found by archaeologists, contained some of the earliest hieroglyphic inscriptions ever found. Until recent day, some churches in Egypt had still been using the Egyptian scripts.

This kind of writing was once considered "God's words," so it was referred to as "the sacred engraved letters."

"The ancient Egyptians believed their scripts were made by the god of the Moon, measurement, and knowledge, Thoth. It is very similar to the legend of Cangjie," Professor Lewis said.

Hans tried to voice his opinion. "Do these hieroglyphs contain some important information? For example, the location of the treasures of the Pharaoh?

They looked at the photos on the tablet. All the photos were exact copies of the photos in their hands. 

Professor Lewis said, "In fact, these photos used to belong to the museum run by our history department, but we lost them during an exhibition. My students have seen these photos before, so they recognized them at a glance on the internet.

Hans blinked; he thought he had nothing more to bargain with, but he was reluctant to admit this.

"Even if you have all seen these scripts before, the original copies are with us. Six thousand for each photo. Then they will belong to you."

"Twenty-four pieces for 2,000 dollars!" Hans interrupted him and said. "I'm sure these photos are valuable!"

Professor Lewis shook his head hesitantly. Hans bargained again. "One thousand dollars!"

The professor thought for a moment and finally said, "Well, they may be useful to my friends who are working in the geography field. After all, the photos captured the Egyptian geography half a century ago."

Li Du was stunned. "You have seen these photos before also?"

Li Du was ecstatic after he understood what Hans was saying. "No wonder you insisted on selling them the photos at 1,000 dollars. But, d*mn it, we still need 100 dollars more."

They earned 39,000 from the new books, but they had bought the second-hand books at 100. Therefore, they had earned 38,900 in total.

Hans grinned, "But we still have a bunch of old books. Perhaps we can earn 100 dollars from them? Actually, I think I can sell them all at 500 dollars!"

Hao Ren initially thought that spiritual detective like Pierre who walked on the edge of the magic field would not provide any good intelligence, so he did not care what he said. Even the demon hunters had little interest in this group of people who lived between humans and otherworldlings. It was just that the number of these heritages was scarce and scattered, and no one could care less during the decline of the mystical doctrine.
Their understanding of the otherworldlings was not enough, and their explanation of the 'collapse of the myth' was merely the imagination of the weird and incomprehensible mystics. However, the Solar Roulette was probably real because he had mentioned the keyword, the Shade of Divine Wrath, which reminded them of the mysterious shadows that had caused so many conflicts.
"What is the Solar Roulette?" Vivian asked, curious of the term.
Pierre found a roll of crumpled scroll from his bag and carefully spread it on the table in the dim light. "This scroll is very precious. I found it in a crypt in Egypt, where it almost cost my life. I believe that this thing depicts the Solar Roulette."
Hao Ren and Vivian came up to take a closer. The scroll was black and yellow, had a parchment-lined texture and burnt Mark's on the edges. The old scroll depicted a beautiful disc-shaped object filled with a mysterious pattern of circles, a circular hole or groove in the center, and radiating lines representing sunlight. Hao Ren had noticed that there were two ancient Egyptian figures-- a man and a woman--at the corner of the disc as if they were there as a reference. If the reference was correct, then the disc should be ten meters high.
Next to the disc patterns were words written in ancient Egyptian text, but because of the burn, some text was missing and barely readable. Some words were legible though, such as "The light of the sun... God and the beast... suppression and punishment."
It sounded like some weird, incomprehensible and ancient chants.
"See? It's beautiful. The artistic skill was simply impossible during the time of the scroll's creation. The Egyptians at that time did not possess such a painting technique, and they did not have this kind of writing material." Pierre pointed at the details on the scroll, face flushed. "However, this is indeed ancient Egyptian writing, so the person who drew this image must be the awakened who had acquired mysterious knowledge, probably similar to the ancient detectives of the spiritual world. Besides, you can see the surface of the disc had traces of golden color pigment. After careful examination, I found that it used to contain gold. Because of their arrogance, disaster befell them, which was the Shade of Divine Wrath. The Shade of Divine Wrath was the dark side of the god, an unstoppable shadowy power that fell from the deep universe. On the earth, the spiritual defenses of the ancient gods were torn open, and various melees were triggered. When the problem deteriorated, the gods gathered to request the 'Tara' family, who was also from the deep dark space, to create a divine artifact--the Solar Roulette. The Solar Roulette is a sun-casting so that it could counter the dark forces of the Shade of Divine Wrath. The most powerful warriors of the gods joined hands in a fierce battle in the clouds above the west of Mount Olympus, driving the Shade of Divine Wrath to the Solar Roulette before sealing them in the roulette finally. But this battle ended up in disgrace."
"In disgrace?" Hao Ren asked. "What happened?"
"The Solar Roulette was so powerful that the gods started to covet its power. They tried to use the seal as an excuse to try to get their hands on the Solar Roulette. After the end of the Shade of Divine Wrath battle, they fell into another war that was driven by greed."
Vivian pouted. "How could that possibly happen when I was there?"
Pierre was flabbergasted. "Huh?"
"Ignore her," Hao Ren said, trying to divert Pierre's attention. "Continue your story and treat us as ordinary people. I want to know the various legends in your spiritual detective circles."
Pierre continued talking, but whenever he thought of Hao Ren and Vivian were the very characters of the mythical stories, a strong sense of incongruity came to mind. He tried to suppress the feeling though. "Legend has it that the gods were embroiled in yet another war, but there was no winner in this war; a powerful force suddenly broke out of the Solar Roulette, severely injuring all the warring parties. Only then, they realized that no one could control the power of the roulette. Only Tara, the 'gods' from the deep dark space were the most powerful. Tara became the custodian of the Solar Roulette and placed the roulette in their Golden Manor. If I'm not mistaken, the roulette should be right our feet."
As Pierre wrapped up his story, Hao Ren began to sort out the information in his head.
The myths and legends circulating in human circles were often distorted, but Pierre's story partially matched with Vivian's memory and Hesperides' description. The 'Tara' in the story was undoubtedly the Ancattero family who lost contact with the outside world not long ago. The family had never been active in the Mythological era, but it turned out that they were mighty but low profile. As for the Shade of Divine Wrath, it was the Shade of Chaos. Spiritual detectives believed that Tara came from the deep dark space of the universe. It was probably a rumor. Perhaps the Tara people knew that they came from an alien planet in another world, but somehow this was twisted to become the deep dark space.
At present, the most significant difference between the 'spiritual detective version' and the 'otherworldling family version' of the story was the addition of the Solar Roulette.
The Solar Roulette seemed to be the key to sealing the Shade of Chaos.
"Do you remember that you have ever made something similar?" Hao Ren looked at Vivian and said, "or have seen something similar?"
"I couldn't recall any," Vivian replied, shaking her head. "But we did seal the Shade of Chaos in something; the Shade if Chaos was invisible, it must be sealed into something tangible to he controllable."
"Even Hesperides and Wayne don't know about this roulette. Fortunately, we met this spirit detective. Otherwise, we might have missed the most critical thing when we enter the Ancattero territory." Hao Ren sighed, "But do you think it is appropriate for this spirit detective to continue his activities?"
Vivian shook her head: "His enthusiasm for pursuing knowledge is admirable, but I don't think it's a good idea to let him join the mission, after all, he has a heart condition... Who is it?"
Suddenly, something caught Vivian's eyes. She looked at the corner of the room and shouted quietly as ice shards suddenly emerged in the air in the surroundings. Before her voice trailed off, something popped out in the corner of the room.
It was a white flame rising from the floor and forming into a human form gradually. A white-haired girl came out of the fire and greeted Vivian and Hao Ren, "Long time no see."

When Zhang Zian and the others entered the shop, the girl from earlier stayed outside the shop to watch the happenings. The old person wearing short sleeves covered the shop door and waved their hands at them, gesturing to them not be in a hurry to ask questions first.
Gao Ke and He He were worried. Although the old man and his sister had kind faces, nobody had the words "I am a bad person" written on their faces. How could they know whether they had just left the wolf's den only to enter the tiger's?
Zhang Zian wondered when Fina had come. Just now, when he had gone to rescue He He, he'd acted with Famous, because he knew that Fina could not lower itself to saving a woman who was not related to it and had gotten into trouble all by herself.
He thought that Fina had stayed with Galaxy and Pi. Unexpectedly, Fina, Galaxy, and Pi had all arrived here. He He and Gao Ke and the rest just could not see them.

The origin of the Coptic language was very complex. It was the final form of the ancient Egyptian language and the product of Hellenization of the Egyptian language under the rule of Rome and Byzantium.
This language system was founded in the third century A.D. It was based on Greek and borrowed some letters from the "secular" style of writing that had evolved from ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs to express pronunciations that did not exist in the Greek language, and it was considered a combination of Greek and ancient Egyptian.
At present, the Coptic language was close to extinction. Few people used it. Only a small number of Copts still used it privately, and people did not know how long it would be before the official extinction.
Historically, however, this language had played a great role—Champollion, a French philologist, was proficient in Coptic so he could discover the secrets of the Rosetta Stone and ultimately to crack the hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt. Coptic was like Chinese Pinyin, while ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs were like Chinese words. When Pinyin and glyphs corresponded one by one, the secrets of hieroglyphs were revealed.
As Zhang Zian had suspected, Fina was not interested in helping He He, who had gone to make trouble for herself. It sat lazily and yawned. It was still secretly complaining about Zhang Zian being a busybody.

Here it is, the 100th chapter. I want to thank you guys so much for sticking with this poor excuse of an author. You don't know how much it means to me. There were times where I thought of dropping (mainly when that sh*t of getting reported for supposedly pornographic content happened), but it was you guys that motivated me to keep going. Thank you, just thank you. I hope to continue bringing more chapters and improving in a lot of things, be it grammar, consistency, or just overall way to tell my story. With its ups and downs, I am glad I started writing because I could meet so many awesome people! By the way, I am happy you people enjoyed the last chapter as much as I did writing it. Blackbeard is someone I like writing as he gives much more freedom than other characters when it comes to displaying his personality.

"That's cruel, Miss Anne! Your love meter is hard to rise, but I won't give up! Now, I choose you! Help me get the old hag's Holy Grail. Eric Bloodaxe went and died before I could get him back. LOL!" He pouted at her, making said woman take some steps back out of sheer repulsiveness.

EMIYA couldn't stand this guy anymore, so he hurriedly materialized a bunch of arrows and shoot them at him in quick succession.

As much as Anne wanted to let that cockroach die, she couldn't do so, at least for now. Equally as quick as Archer shot his arrows, the blond-haired woman fired her gun and intercepted each one with her bullets.

"I knew it! You are just a tsundere! Duhuhuhu." Now she was genuinely regretting having stopped those arrows.

"Fire. Fire everything we have and sink that ship immediately!" After coming to herself from her shocked state caused by Blackbeard's words, Drake wasted no time and ordered her crew to assault his ship with a tone that didn't allow a no for an answer.

Her subordinates were a little taken aback by her expression, but promptly went to load the cannons. When it came to battle, a Captain's words were law, and there was no room to disobey.


Something strange happened when they fired, though. As if the cladding of the ship was cotton, the cannonballs bounced, leaving behind practically zero damage.

"Nice try, but My Queen Anne's Revenge is not going down that easily! What are you going to do about it? Cry? Unless you are a kid, my immunity to those things is level MAX!" Blackbeard mockingly laughed at the pink-haired woman. He seemed to be her natural enemy.

"Gh...!" Drake clenched her teeth. This man sure knew how to get on her nerves. To add salt to the injury, Blackbeard's crew threw ropes to board her ship.


"Sanson, go after the white-haired kid!" They would get nowhere with Drake's huffing, so Seth commanded his Servant to begin the counterattack.

Zhuge Liang didn't specialize in close combat, and Altera wouldn't get on the same ship as Blackbeard no matter what —Not that he couldn't understand her— leaving the Executioner as the only option.

As for him, his job would be to take care of a sneaky little rat. "Why don't you come to say hello at my face instead of trying to sneak-attack me, Hector?"

Seth used his spear to parry a thrust coming from the Great Hero behind his back. "Oh? Did you know who I am? This old man is happy." Despite his actions, he carried with him a friendly expression, coupled with a tone of the same characteristic.

"Don't play that game with me. It won't work." Seth pushes Hector's weapon back and then kicked him in the gut to create some distance between the two.

"Aren't you being too rough? I just want to take it easy. Leaving that aside, wouldn't you be so kind as to give me that little girl over there? I need her for something important, you see." He scratched his head with a troubled expression before pointing at Euryale. Even after Seth told him that his facade did not affect him, Hector continued using it. Old habits died hard.

"That's a problem. I don't feel like doing that. You would understand the feeling of not giving a woman to the enemy, right?" The Egyptian God decided to humor the Defender of Troy a little bit. Two people could play the same game, after all.

"Hohoho. You sure hit this old man where it hurts." Once he finished speaking, he dashed in Seth's direction without a prior warning.

Seth also did the same and intercepted him. Hector's face had lost all traces of friendliness and was now in serious mode. "Then, I will have to take either of them by force." If they weren't enemies, he would have thanked him for bringing a "replacement" to this Singularity.

"I want to see you try." The Lord of the Desert also was done playing their short game. Hector's motives were unknown to him, but that didn't change the fact he was mistaken if he thought that Seth would allow him to touch even a single hair of theirs.

As they wanted to avoid interruptions while they fought, the two spearmen jumped atop the yard on the mast. Without delay, Hector and Seth began to exchange blow after blow. Neither wanted to let the other get the advantage.

Meanwhile, Drake, Mash, Asterios, Zhuge Liang, and Altera were killing the infinite pirates that Blackbeard was sending. They looked like the Hydra, for each head you cut, two more appeared. It took some time for them to realize this, though.

Euryale was helping Sanson by shooting the pirates that got close to him and keeping the fight one versus one. It wasn't much of a problem for Assassin to kill those mobs, but a momentary distraction in doing so could prove fatal, especially in a battle between Servants.

Stheno, who was the one with zero combat power, had been using her Noble Phantasm none stop, converting their enemies into allies. It got to a point where her face muscles started hurting. Euryale at least had the advantage of doing it just by hitting a target with her arrow.


It didn't help the fact that these men were in the same direction as that creep. Just imagining herself smiling at him was enough to give her chills enough to freeze the sun itself.

"Euryale-chan #2 is in love with me♪ She is smiling at me♪Oh yeah! Blackbeard gang rise up!" As always, Teach was in his fantasy world.

Safe to say, his words made Stheno falter. "Don't let him get into your head! Your Master is supplying enough Magical Energy to use your Noble Phantasm continuously, don't make that go to waste!" Even though he said that to her, Zhuge Liang still wanted to strangle Blackbeard for his comment earlier.

"Why don't you try smiling at that thing, you dead fish eyes?!" The Eldest Sister, for the first time, lost her composure and shouted at Caster.


"Now is not the time to fight between ourselves! Concentrate on sending these scallywags straight to Davy Jones' Locker!" Drake made sure to remind them to focus on the objective instead of infighting.

"What do we do? We can't use large scale attacks, or we risk destroying our ship as well!" Not that Mash had anything like that in her hands, but many of the others did. Altera, EMIYA, and Kuro, to name a few. Sadly, two of them were dealing with a Servant and the other, even though she was "free," couldn't use her full power, lest she wanted to blow everything up, as mentioned earlier.

"Grr...Kill..." Asterios was grabbing pirates and throwing them at Blackbeard in the distance. The said man was just dodging them while comically moving.


That, for sure, was not the answer Mash expected. Luckily for her, Romani came to the rescue, although not entirely. "Blackbeard never possessed a legend where he commanded an army of uncountable pirates! It must be the work of the Holy Grail without a doubt. I am talking about the fake one!"


"He does?! But how can we retrieve it? Every woman would rather suicide than getting close to him, and the men are all busy fighting!" Not mentioning the ones who were fighting Servants, there was Asterios left, who wouldn't leave Euryale's side no matter what, and Zhuge Liang was firing multiple energy beams as fast as possible against the neverending wave of enemies.

"Hey! I can still hear you! Please continue. Wait, that's not right. Please be harsher! Nuhuhuhu!" Seeing a...creature so horrendous blushing was not pleasant at all. What's more, it gave you nightmares.


"Ju-Just hold on a bit more! I am sure the others can attack Blackbeard the moment they finish battling their opponents!" Dr. Roman didn't know what to say in this situation other than to wait. Despite being a man, Teach's way of acting still affected him.


What he wanted might take a while, though. EMIYA and Anne were evenly matched. They couldn't shoot the opposite ship as the other would prevent it with their projectiles. The scale was more in Archer's favor as his movements were agile, and he could move from place to place and aim from all kinds of positions. While there was no doubt about Anne's ability with her rifle, being a Rider kind of restricted her.

The opposite was happening with her partner. Mary had the advantage as she knew how to use her weapon to fight more than Sanson did. He was someone who brought dead through execution, not a swordsman. She was different. As a pirate, she fought for her life numerous times. Your ability with a weapon was the deciding factor between who lives and who dies in those situations.

With Seth and Hector, no one of the two could fight to their full potential, but the Egyptian God had the overall advantage. There had been many circumstances where he couldn't go all out, so he knew how to better fight in those conditions. The Trojan Hero couldn't say the same. Defensive battles and ones where he was at a disadvantage were his specialties. That only applied in the case where he could make use of every tactic possible and not hold back in the slightest, which was not what was happening.


"Say, were you the one who sent that thunderbolt before? That was scary~ I don't want to fight you if it is possible." Hector, returning to his easygoing attitude, spoke to Seth.

"You talk as if you were not the one who stopped it." He responded, totally ignoring the last part. The exchange of blows continued per usual, going from fast and weak to slow and intense.


"Ahahaha...I suppose I did something like that. I wish you could have taken it easy, though. I am too old for that kind of stuff." Hector laughed it off. To catch your enemy by surprise, you would have to act like you were nothing, even when they already knew of your true self.


"Oh, is that so? You seem quite energetic to me. I fear the moment I let my guard down; you would strike me with your spear. My defenses are not the best, after all." Seth said as he used the butt of his spear to hit Hector in the chest, a blow that was blocked by him. The Egyptian God was not stupid. He was aware of the other form of that spear, or better said the original one.


The Trojan Hero might be using it as a spear for now, but he could also use the sword form. If he let him get into a dangerously close range, Hector could switch to it and wound him in a surprise move. That's why he was trying to keep the fight at a semi-melee range.


"Appearances can be deceiving. Isn't the same with you? It's not like you are as normal as you make it out to be." Saying this, he went for a slash at Seth's chest. However, this turned to be a feint as when the black-haired man deflected his spear. Hector used the momentum to leap backward.

"This old man says thank you!" Making full use of his Disengage Skill, the Trojan Hero gained enough distance to make his move. 'All right...time to get serious.'

Doing a backflip, the brown-haired man aimed his spear at where the others were, particularly at Fujimaru and Drake, who were the only humans there aside from her crew.

'Tch. You sly bastard.' There were only two options. He could go down and stop the spear throw, which would most likely result in him getting impaled, or chase Hector and get that blow head-on. He didn't doubt the latter was what the man wanted, especially considering that he could change his spear to a sword and deal more damage to a single person that way.

That guy certainly didn't hold on for years against Greece being dumb.

History is always written by winners. That is also the case with the Gods. While Humanity worships the righteous, the evil ones get all their hatred.
One of these so-called evil Gods is sent to another world to complete a task by the person he hates the most. However, that task aligns with a wish his fallen friends entrusted him with. So, for now, he will comply. But eventually, he will get his revenge against them.

If you expect a one punch man type of God just because he is, well, a God. This is not your story. Don't say I didn't warn you.

This is my first time writing something and I will surely make mistakes, I hope you can kindly point them out so I can improve and bring all of you a better reading experience!

I was recovering from a long bilious flight and checked in to a cheap and dingy 3-star hotel room. The hotel was located on a small block nestled into the busy and crowded city of Cairo. The noise from the heavy traffic, combined with the non-stop humming from the old and dirty air-condition stopped me from sleeping. This destroyed any chance of me recovering from my 17-hour flight from Sydney. The night was young, so I decided that I should explore this magical city of Cairo on my own. My guided tours were to begin tomorrow morning and I had no plans for the rest of today. I was always a firm believer in walking around in a new city on my own is the best way to experience it. I like to stir myself away from the typical tourist traps and the heavily-time constricted trips. This way one can see the genuine hustle and bustle and the everyday life of a city's inhabitants and beauty of the culture.
I took the remote control and switched off the old wooden-framed vintage television. I was about to leave the dilapidated hotel room, when I felt a rush of hesitation and anxiety overwhelm me. Humans tend to overestimate certain dangers. I am, for instance, often afraid of shark attacks when swimming in Australian waters, although shark attacks are scarce. Although excited that I was in Cairo, I feared getting targeted in a terrorist attack. Such things occur often in Egypt, according to the media that continuously influence the population.
The fear was amplified by the fact that my loving partner of many years, sweet, gentle Elaine, had refused to travel with me to Cairo. Elaine had cited the risk of a terrorist attack as her main reason for not going. Eventually, I brushed off my negative thoughts and calmed myself down. I reminded myself that my everyday choices were more important. My daily actions, such as my diet and exercise, have a larger impact on my life expectancy than terrorist attacks will ever have.
I walked around in Cairo, absorbing everything the magical and lustrous city had to offer. I enjoyed smelling the fragrances and photographing the historic buildings. After walking for hours, I came across a sizeable Egyptian Bazaar.  I am not a big fan of shopping, but I remembered that Elaine had asked for a tin of Egyptian perfume. I also wanted to eat something, and the food there smelled delightful.

After eating an authentic Egyptian meal, I felt a bit fazed by the noise and the massive commotion at the bazaar. Whenever I travel overseas, I always stand out as an obvious tourist, as I am very tall, and I look very North European. It's the price that I must pay for being 190 centimetres (6'3") tall man with a North European Swedish bloodline. My looks attracted a myriad of salesmen, and they were all trying to peddle me different trinkets. I felt the stress and discomfort coming upon me, as I dislike crowds and people pushing things upon me. After rejecting dozens of street peddlers, I finally came across something I wanted. It was a shimmering blue crystal sold from a healing crystal market stand, located at the far end of the dingy market.

I studied the mysterious blue crystal for a while. I tried to contact the presumed seller, an old Egyptian woman, who was squatting behind an old wooden table. She was smirking and showed off her yellow teeth and the wart on her big nose. But, why did I want a crystal? I pondered the question, and I couldn't come up with any sensible explanation. I have never had any interests in gemstones or healing crystals my. But this enchanting crystal was shining with a bright and wondrous blue light. It was so beautiful that it looked as if the crystal was talking to me. This was something I hadn't experienced since I ingested LSD and magic mushrooms in my rebellious youth. I took it up with my two fingers, laid it in my hand and stared at it for a long time. I felt completely mesmerised by its beauty for what felt like an eternity.

"Can I help you, Good Sir?" The rasping sound of the lady seller was suddenly interrupted by a young Egyptian man that appeared from the back end of the squalid shop.

I came back to my senses when the store clerk approached me. How long had it been? The other street peddlers had swarmed to me like bees, but this Egyptian man had taken his time and given me the chance to study his products first. I examined the man, he looked different. While the others wore typical Middle-Eastern garments, this Egyptian man looked like a time traveller. Or at least was participating in some sort of a Renaissance fair.

"How much is this crystal...?", I stuttered with a confused voice.
"For you sir, this beautiful Zeto crystal is only 1500 pounds!" Said the salesman confidently.
1500 Egyptian pounds. How much is that in Australian Dollars? I thought to myself. I calculated the figures in my head and figured out the answer, it was over A$100 Australian Dollars. I was confused, and I studied both the Egyptian salesman and the enchanting crystal for a while. I must have misheard him.

"Excuse me, did you say 1500 Egyptian Pounds for this piece of glass?" I asked.
"I did, but the price has just gone up. It is now 2,000 Egyptian Pounds!" answered the angry and impatient peddler.

The salesman's answer bewildered me. The street peddlers always lowered their prices at any sign of haggling, but this Egyptian man had increased the price instead. How could this be? I was going to put the crystal away, but I couldn't, I felt extremely drawn in and compelled to buy it.

"Okay, 2000 Egyptian pounds. That's a deal." I said sheepishly, as I paid for the glowing blue crystal and put it in my pocket. After paying for the enchanting gem, I took a cab back to my dingy hotel. My brain was not working, and I desperately needed a good night's sleep.

The following day, I woke up feeling a stabbing pain in my stomach, after a minimal amount of sleep. My choice of food the day before hadn't been a smart one, and I had spent the entire night throwing up in the bathroom.  I was considering not showing up for the bus ride to the pyramids, but I decided against it and got myself ready to go. I was only spending a few days in Cairo, before flying to Sweden to my dear old parents. Spending my time being sick and self-pitying in this cheap hotel room was not my version of an ideal holiday.

I passed up on the hotel breakfast. Instead, I bought some refreshing mints and other snacks in the corner shop outside of the hotel. I did this to cover up the stench of my vomit from the night before. I didn't want to risk throwing up on the bus, bringing some mints and a bag of nuts would be handy if I got hungry later. I got on the tour bus. The guide was chirping and sharing some interesting facts about Cairo. At least I believe he did, but my attention was foggy after the rough night. I slipped into a dreamy abyss and fell asleep on the bus.

After what felt like a fleeting time, we had reached the pyramids, and I woke up from my nap feeling a bit better.

A problem that I have, is that the actual world is usually less grand than the idealistic world. The pyramids are the best example I can come up with to exemplify this. In the idealistic sense, the pyramids are majestic, built by thousands of workers over many years. These precise artefacts followed the astronomical movements with almost better accuracy than we can do with modern technology.

But, in my perceived world, I was in the middle of a barren desert watching a pile of crumbling rocks. Not that interesting.

The smiling tour guide approached me and tapped on my shoulder. For an optional fee of 1,000 Egyptian pounds, I could follow a guided tour inside one of the pyramids.  If not, I could sit at the coffee shop and enjoy the scenery for the next few hours. Paying the extra money to crouch around in a dark a cramped tunnel doesn't sound like the most fun way to spend money. But on the other hand, I was on-site, and maybe the pyramid would look better on the inside? I paid the hefty fee. The tour guide smirked slyly and stuffed the money in his pocket. He seemed worried that people could see him take the money, indicating that this was not an official part of the tour. I was hesitant to go with the guide and wanted my money back, but I had already paid for it and could not go back.

A short while later, I entered the pyramid together with the tour guide and a few other tour participants. As expected, I didn't enjoy being inside the pyramid. It was dark, packed with stale air and it was too cramped for a big guy like me. Besides, the food poisoning I had the night before hadn't prepared me for this spelunking adventure.

Suddenly, I felt like I was going to vomit again. Being the last person in the group, I snuck off into a side passage to avoid embarrassment. Out of the blue, I sensed a glowing blue light from my khaki pants. The blue crystal that I bought at the bazaar, which I had forgotten to take out of pocket the night before, felt hot and shone with an eerie blue light. It was sparkling so bright so that it almost lit up the entire room and hurt my eyes. I picked up the crystal from my pocket and I studied it. Suddenly a trap door opened below me, and I slid down a secret passage.  I slid for several seconds until I hit the floor with high speed. I heard a loud cracking noise and I felt a surge of extreme pain through my body. I had landed badly on my right foot and broken it. I looked around and felt panic take its hold over my body. I was injured and alone in a very dark tunnel with no way to get up. I was going to scream for help when something caught my eyes: The blue crystal. In the dark tunnel, it shone stronger than ever before. I felt compelled to crawl over to where it dropped when I fell and pick it up.

Once I picked up the glimmering crystal, I heard a noise. The whole wall had lit up, and it was full of illuminated lines of hieroglyphs that I couldn't comprehend. The hieroglyphs struck me with feelings of awe and surprise. I noticed that there was a slot in the wall where my blue crystal would fit perfectly. I inserted the crystal into the slot and the entire wall made a loud cracking noise. Suddenly the wall shifted in anti-clockwise motion. The wall blocks began to rotate and filled up its crevices with more blocks that appeared from inside the wall, like an amazing game of Jenga. A luminous and calming bright blue light emerged from the wall crevices. I tried to touch the light, but it seemed like it didn't have a surface as my hand sunk straight through it. I pulled out my hand from the blue light, and it was still okay. I felt scared and amazed at the same time. I felt compelled to know what was on the other side of the shining wall crevice. Relying on my good leg, I decided to jump into the light and find out what happened next.

I saw a bright flash, and my body drifting through space, travelling faster than the speed of light. Suddenly, I landed. I had ended up in a beautiful courtyard, that looked both ancient and futuristic at the same time.  I have never seen anything so beautiful in my whole life, but at the same time, I felt scared. Where was I, and was this the afterlife?

I looked around, and I saw a group of strange-looking humanoid creatures approaching me. One of them spoke to me.

"Greetings human. I am Ra, and the Zetans next to me are Zeus, Brahma, and Odin. "
"I don't understand!", I stammered and continued speaking, "Am I dead?"
"Certainly not, as a matter of fact, you'll never be more alive than today," Zeus answered.
"Enough of the pleasantries", Odin scoffed. "Did you bring us any offerings?"

The request surprised me, but I didn't dare to argue with the deities. I remembered that I had some mints and nuts in my pockets, so I took them out and handed them to Odin. He tasted the food and gave me a disapproving look. "What kind of food are you humans eating these days?! This food is full of chemicals and rubbish", Odin sneered. "I am sorry, I didn't expect to meet deities today, and I didn't expect you to ask for offerings", I replied. "Is that so?", Zeus asked rhetorically. "Then how come all the ancient scriptures contain the sacrifice of animals, to the gods?"

Zeus' question confused me, but fortunately, Brahma came to my aid. "Don't be too harsh on the human for his poor offerings, gentlemen. How could he foresee that he would stumble upon an interdimensional portal? Humans don't have foresight like we do."

Brahma turned towards me and spoke. "Thank you for your offerings today, please tell me your name, human."
"I am Martin", I answered.
"Nice to meet you, Martin," Brahma said before he continued speaking. "Unfortunately, your time here today will be short, so please ask anything you'd like to know before you have to go back."
 "Can you fix my broken foot? It's so painful." I moaned. 
"You are in luck, we still have healing supplies", Brahma answered. He turned to Ra and spoke "Ra, can you please inject our guest with a Zetan Healing Serum into his right calf?" Ra approached me and injected the serum. At first, it caused immense insufferable pain, but it receded shortly afterwards. In no time the pain was gone, and the foot seemed to have healed.

"What happened?" I asked in amazement. "The serum accelerated your body's own healing factor by the equivalent of a month's healing time. Hence you feel the initial immense pain, and then quick healing proceeds." Ra replied. "So, this is science and not magic?" I asked. "Yes, Advanced science too complicated for you to understand," Ra replied.

Brahma looked at me and spoke, "Our time is short but let me show you around". I got up on my feet, and to my great relief, I could walk, albeit with a bit of a limp. I followed Brahma to a beautiful pond, located next to a blooming Lotus Tree. In the pond, I could see a lot of things happening on Earth.

"Master Brahma, if everything on Earth is science and not magic, how can you see all these things from Earth?" I asked.
"When we first came across Earth on our travel across the Milky Way eons ago, we dropped millions of nanotechnology drones. We did this so that we could see everything on the planet. These drones were powered with advanced batteries that have almost unlimited battery time. Thus, some of these drones are still sending images to us." Brahma replied.
"Wow!", I replied.
"Yes, when we told your ancestors that we were all-seeing, we were not lying, just explaining to your level of intelligence," Brahma said.
"But are you really gods, and did you create mankind?" I asked.
"No. We didn't create mankind, but we made you what you are. When we came across Homo-Sapiens 70,000 years ago, your species was low-tier animals, close to extinction. My Zetan ancestors altered your genome, and raised your intelligence. We made you what you have become since then." Brahma replied.
"So because the Zetan species is much more advanced than humans, you become Gods to us?" I asked. 
"Yes. The only real god, The True Maker, works on a cosmological scale. For such an omnipotent being, the daily prayers and actions of individuals become insignificant." Brahma replied.

Brahma looked at his wristwatch and seemed keen to move on. "Come, there are more things that I have to show you, and time is short".

Brahma hurried ahead and opened a door. We entered a very advanced computerised archive. I was full of lifelike hologram generators and other amazing technologies. "This is the Zetan archives, if you choose to stay here you can have access to all the knowledge and science of the Universe," Brahma said. "Even the age-old question of the meaning of life?" I pondered. "Good one, but no. You see, there is no universal answer to that question. The individual has to make up their own answer." Brahma answered.

I studied the room and all the amazing objects in there for a while and then my eyes fell back on Brahma. Brahma seemed restless and a bit reluctant, but eventually, he spoke. "So, Martin it is time for you to make a choice," Brahma said. "What choice?" I replied.  "You can either stay here, spend time with us Zetans and learn everything there is about the universe. Or you can go back to humanity on Earth and live in ignorance," Brahma said. "Why can't I have both?" I asked.
"Because the portal will soon be closing, and once it's closed, we have no means of opening it from here. If you choose to stay you will have God-like knowledge, but you'll also suffer from constant hunger and loneliness. You'll see everyone you care about dying from age through the magical pond."

I pondered the options for a while. I realised that the choices didn't only have consequences for me but for everyone else. If I disappeared without a trace, the people I cared about would never get closure. They would always wonder what happened to me. I told Brahma about my decision. He replied: "I see, you choose the easy path of ignorance." "No, I choose to do what is best for the people I love. Forsaking everyone I care for and who cares for me in the pursuit of knowledge is selfish and cruel!", I replied.

Brahma studied me for a while. Then Zeus entered the room and spoke: "What did the human choose?", Zeus asked.
"Ignorance," Brahma replied.
"They all do. Only one more thing to do." Zeus said. After saying this, Zeus pulled me towards him, while Brahma branded my right arm with a luminous tattoo. Zeus then injected me with Zetan Healing Serum while Brahma carried me back to the portal.  The last thing I remember was Brahma repeatedly shouting. "Find Keila Eisenstein, show her the tattoo on your arm, warn her of trusting Rangda the Deceiver!" Before I fell into the glowing abyss and blacked out.

I woke up a few days later in an Egyptian hospital. The doctor told me that I had a psychotic outbreak caused by a rare form of a food-borne parasite. I asked the doctor, "Okay, but can you explain how my broken foot had miraculously healed and a freshly inked tattoo on my arm appeared suddenly overnight?". He responded with "Both of those wounds are fully healed, and it must have happened over a month ago." The doctor answered and then left the room.

I decided to keep quiet and not say anything. There was nothing to gain from trying to convince this doctor of an extra-terrestrial encounter. Besides, I wasn't too sure myself any more what had happened.

A few days later I left the hospital. As I am writing this story while on a plane back to Europe, I only have two questions:

What happened to me, and how did I get this strange glowing tattoo with a map of the world filled with alien symbols?

Who the hell is Keila Eisenstein…?!

WITH THIS SEASON ONE HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO AN END MY CHILDREN!!!! Are u sad? welp.... This whole season was just.... so much fun to write lol especially during the times when Regan desired to kill lol I don't know why but I just found those moments so entertaining to write¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Spiderweb is like one of those spur of the moment thoughts that get built up and form a whole plot. I was reading a story that had a villians as a main character and I was like.... I wanna do that too so boom, Regan was born, (fun fact, I had a big writer's block and used a generator to come up with her name XD) I wanted someone who I could make thoroughly suffer in order to blossom into the queen she is. Originally, she was supposed to kill both Gradis and Layla but that was kinda a too calm and not interesting ending, worse of all, I won't have spent a lot of time with y'all. So I decided to leave it at a point where a season two can built on it, BUT that would half depend on u and how I feel XD so do you want a season two? do you???? XD lemme know in the comments!

Ever since, I was a kid I would believe in monsters, vampires, anything supernatural, and with my parents not being around, I would use their lab to make small experiments like on TV and most of them were successful, the only one that knew about, besides me is my brother, Jake.

I was looked at as crazy for some people and a genius.

I was only looked at as a genius by the people I was in school with because I would always get good grades.

Now, everything will know about my genius as I unless I experiment.

The story starts with a woman who has red hair, wearing a lab coat, purple dress, and pink heels approaching a field of flowers, where wolves are eating their lunch, since their cave is blocked by rocks, Amia is holding a ville filled with green liquid.

The wolves notice Amia and are about to attack, but she uses a bow and arrow to shoot them with what was in the ville.

The wolves run wild, which is when Amia notices a bunch of mysterious rocks that have writing on it, one of the wolves bumps into Amia, this makes her drop the ville on the rocks.

"What a waste", stated Amia, with an emotionless face.

"Yeah, but look what's happening", Jake pointed out.

The chemicals in the vile breaks the potential energy in the rock, and changes it to kinetic and radioactive energy.

As that happens, Jake and Amia feel an Earthquake, then they see the rock create a sound wave, which spreads all over from where they are to all over America, Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia, and even Antarctica.

In those continents, pyramids, artifacts, old ruins, and even houses that were rumored to be haunted; All those places were hit by the sound wave, after that any tourists, people that explore or work at those places run away.

This gets the attention of newsmen and women, also people that like social media's attention.

All this drama goes back to America specifically, Dakota, and yes.

North and South Dakota mix into one big Dakota.

Quiggly, Dakota is where Kaima and the others live.

In the Greensdale Mansion, Kaima is hanging outside with Neddy practicing her senses.

Kaima is wearing a blindfold that is black, and Neddy is shooting at her.

Mostly, Kaima has been able to avoid the bullet, but then both of them hear a voice say "Neddy! Kaima! Trouble, we got in big trouble".

This distracts them, that Neddy accidentally shoots at Kaima, and she gets hit and says "Ow! Jasmine!"

Jasmine runs to Kaima, and says "Are you okay? I'm so sorry".

"Jasmine, what could have possibly happened that you needed to interrupt my practice?" asked Kaima, taking off her blindfold.

Jasmine shows a news report that has pictures of monsters, magical creatures, and all kinds of things appearing like magic and chases people.

"What?" gasped Kaima, shocked.

"Marvin is already about to tell Dr. Liama", Jasmine replied.

"Uh! Wait, are we houses being affected too?"
asked Kaima.

"Yeah, why?" answered Jasmine.

"Annabelle's house!" They remembered.

"Annabelle went back to get some items she collected", Jasmine tells Kaima.

Kaima takes out her phone, sets up the teleportation app and they disappear.

Annabelle is fighting zombies in the cemetery with her umbrella.

"Get out of my home, you undead creeps", said Annabelle.

"We just want to go back to sleep", said one of the zombies.

Annabelle stops hitting, and says "Wait. You can talk".

Annabelle smiles, looks at a zombie, and says "Fascinating, do you know why you're awake, if you do please tell me".

The zombies look at each other, and says "You are a strange girl".

Annabelle smiles, has her phone out, and says "I get that a lot".

From a distance, Kaima and Jasmine notice how Annabelle is doing.

"Annabelle is getting along with the zombies", Jasmine smiled.

"I knew she would be fine, but I don't know about everybody else", Kaima stated.

Kaima's tail starts wagging, showing something is wrong.

"I'm guessing that's a warning", Jasmine guessed.

"Indeed, it's my parents at the museum", Kaima sensed.

"Okay, let's go", Jasmine insisted.

In the lab, Marvin tells Dr. Liama about what's happening.

Dr. Liama takes off her goggles, and puts down her screwdriver; then says "A magical radioactive soundwave. Interesting".

De. Liama gets out her phone, goes to 'Contacts', and it shows a projection of Cat.

"Dr. Liama, good timing, I'm kinda dealing with mummies and yes, the Egyptian ones", Cat answers her phone.

"There are different mummies that aren't from Egypt?" Marvin questioned.

"Not really, she's just nervous", Dr. Liama tells Marvin, while drinking tea and sitting down in a chair with wheels.
"Cat, teleport yourself here, and contact Rose and Steve or if you're neat them get them".

"Of course, bye", said Cat.

"Bye", said Dr. Liama, then hang up the phone call.

"How did your research go?" asked Marvin.

"Successful, I found the author of the article and I know who is the cause of this current event", Dr. Liama proclaimed, as she finished her tea.

"They connected the article and what's happening now", Marvin assumed.

"Correct, both of them are caused by Amia Wells. She's a three-year college student, and she's the only one who has used science to create magic and that's what caused the soundwave", Dr. Liama explained.

"No way! Can anything stop this", Marvin wondered.

Dr. Liama gets up, walks up to Marvin, and says "Simple, we just need to reverse it and that can only be affected by Kaima and Mina".

"Here we go again", said Marvin.

Mina and Lily are dealing with orientation at college, when they see ghosts.

The other college students and the teachers run to, but Mina and Cat grab guns that have ancient writing on it, that is on display.

A teacher sees them, and says "What are you two doing? Put those back".

Instead of listening, Mina shoots about ten ghosts that got hit by the bullets of the gun, the ghost turns to goo and disappears for good.

The teacher watches both girls shoot at all the ghosts, clearing the gym.

The left Ms. Alligator, the teacher, has long red hair at the back, and in the front is short spiky hair, wearing a red dress that resembles a sunflower, and has red heels.

Mina and Lily put the guns back, but Ms. Alligator stops them, and says "Take them, I don't think those are the only ghosts here… I mean in the school".

"Okay", Mina decided.

"We're ghostbusters today", Lily giggled.

Mina groans, and says "Please don't make that reference".

"I mean the carton", said Lily.

"I guess that's better", Mina sighs, as they walk out the gym.

At the museum, Rose and Steve are dealing with mummies with Egyptian artifacts.

"Why aren't these things working? There, supposed to ward off evil", asked Rose.

"Sweetie, I think you're supposed to say a spell, while holding it", Steve remembers.

"You couldn't have told me that earlier", complained Rose.

"I would've, but I was getting and still being attacked by mummies", said Steve.

A raven swipes the artifacts out of Rose and Steve's hand.

"Hey, bring that back", said Rose.

A hand stops the bird and grabs the artifacts.

Rose and Steve turn around to see Kaima is holding a scepter, her hair is sticking out like a crow, an Egyptian dress, and golden heels; along with the scepter there is a sign of sunrise.

"Annabelle! Jasmine! Get my mom and dad out of here", Kaima called.

Annabelle and Jasmine take Rose and Steve's hand and exit the museum.

Kaima raises the scepter in the air, and says "Mummies, halt!" 

The mummies do as Kaima says.

'I can't believe I said halt, that is so lame', thought Kaima.

"As your goddess, I command you to go back to your tombs and only awake by the sound of my voice saying 'Rise', understand?" Kaima says, as her eyes glow, making mummies glow too.

Soon, all the mummies go back to their tomb;the tomb glows, and seals itself.

After that, Kaima put the artifacts back on display.

The phone rings as Kaima puts the display where it belongs, so she answers the phone.

"Hello", said Kaima.

"Is Darrel there?" asked a woman.

"Sorry, everybody left including the employees, How can I help you?" answered Kaima, looking at the projection of the woman.

"Who are you?" asked the woman.

"The girl that defended the mummies. Need some help?" Kaima tells the woman.

"I could use some help, could you teleport to Flower's national museum?" The woman asks Kaima.

"Sure, I'll be right there", Kaima declared.

"Thank you; You can tell us your name when you get there", The woman waves goodbye.

Then, the woman hangs up.

Kaima sends a message to her parents, and friends; then she opens a portal and teleports to Vegas.

The museum is dark, showing that there's powerful magic coming.

Kaima walks through the museum, and starts to hear voices from a room that shows a bunch of bright lights, once she walks in; she sees the woman along with five highschool students.

"Hello, you must be the manager, I'm Kaima, the girl you talked to on the phone", Kaima tells the woman.

By the way, this woman is a person who has blonde hair that looks white, wearing a purple dress and purple heels.

Her name is Penelope.

The five Highschool students are three girls and two boys.

The three girls have spiky long hair looking like a porcupine, wearing a highschool uniform from a prep Academy, the two boys have long red hair, and are wearing regular highschool uniforms.

They have cute faces that they look like they are from fifth grade.

"So, Kaima, do you know about what's going on?" asked one of the boys.

"I do, now hurry I sense something", said Kaima.

"Sense something?" asked the boys.

"What do you mean?" asked one of the girls.

Before Kaima could answer, a cloud of shadows appear, and the shadows surround Kaima.

The shadows become a vampire.

Kaima looks at Penelope, and asks "Is this the museum of supper creatures?"

Penelope nods.

The vampire tries to bite Kaima, but Kaima tackles him down, and shows her fangs.

"Is she a vampire too?" asked Jessabelle.

Jessabelle, Kate, and Anatte are the three highschool girls; and Andy and Tony are the highschool boys.

Anatte looks closer at Kaima's fangs, and says "No, those are fangs of a python".

The vampire turns back into a shadow to escape Kaima's grip, he returns around and faces Andy and Tony.

"Kaima!" called Tony and Andy, seeing she disappeared.

The vampire tries to bite Tony first, but something wraps around him, and it gets striked in the heart.

This is done by Kaima, who has blood coming from her claws, which makes Tony, Andy, Anatte, Kate, and Jessabelle cheer.

Back at flower field, the wolves change into various different animals, one of them turns into a deer.

The deer runs down the fields, when it almost runs into a boy who has short brown hair that is curly, wearing a red dress and heels and red lipstick.

The deer stops itself, turns around, looks at the cross-dressed boy, and turns into a dog.

"No way!" The boy's eyes glowed.

The boy picks up the dog, and smiles.

"Danny! Danny!" Called a 16-year-old who has long black/white hair, wearing a rainbow outfit and high heels running.

"Hey, sis; look", Danny waves.

"Uh! Mr. Calwas worried sick, you can't run off like that", complained Danielle.

"Why do you call him, Mr ? He's only three years older than you", Danny pointed out.

"That may be true, but he's also a teacher and I have to respect him", Danielle responds back..

Ben runs toward Danielle and Danny, and smiles.

"Mr. Ben!" exclaimed Danielle.

"Are you alright?" asked Ben.

"Yeah, Danny just found a puppy", said Danielle.

"Thank goodness, I'd love to stay, but I've been called in from work", Ben told Danielle and Danny.

"You're leaving, but what about the monsters? "Danny asks, looking sad.

Ben rubs Danny's hair, and says "A friend's coming for that, and I'll be helped from afar.

"Wait! Before you leave, watch this; come on changeling", Danny begs.

"Okay", said Ben.

The puppy  turns into a parrot, and lands on Ben's  shoulder.

"Can I keep him, please?" asked Danny. "I'll take good care of him".

"Okay", said Ben.

Through the day, Kaima deals with monster after monster, Mina and Lily start to and finish dealing with any magical items going out of control, Rose and Steve notify any people in danger to come to The Red Pyramid mansion, it's literally a mansion shaped like a pyramid.

Ben keeps an eye on any new creatures and uses a magical baseball bat, Neddy uses guns; Nia uses needles that work like yoyos.

Dr. Liama uses a bazooka, that's full of acid, Cat uses her lasers that's attached to her car; Annabelle uses her umbrella, Marvin has a magic pen that brings her pen that brings his drawings to life, Jasmine uses a scythe and Kina uses her strength.

Everything seems under control, but not for the other people around the world.
