The diplomatic relations between People's Republic of Mars and Atlantic-Pacific Federation have soured. The cold war between two major factions is getting hotter as both parties race for rapid mobilization of their space navies.

   Through his journey, Auryn enters a circle of grim betrayal, unshakable friendship, and epic romance as he crosses paths with various people who would soon prove to be influential figures in the Solean Empire as it is plunged into an unwilling war where Auryn would unknowingly forge a destiny in the stars.

Chiyo's blade collided against Sol's with enough force destroy several cars, yet the Falcon Mode seemed unaffected by everything she tried. The dragon took a lot of slashes and hits by his magic. She fought back with dragon magic and Ki, but no matter what, that form kept him at some kind of advantage, whether it was raw strength, speed, or spells. 
She shouldn't be taking so much damage…so how?
 "You must be wondering why you're on the way to hellfire's death door," Sol said. "Do you fear the falcon, its mighty stat increases, and how it devours prey like you?"  He aimed a hand at the panting dragon girl, smiling. "Now die."
Chiyo couldn't die here… She couldn't. She wished she could see her sisters again, tell them how much she loved them.

Suddenly, the sky brightened to sun-intense levels, then darkened, bringing in a lightning storm that Chiyo had never witnessed before. The magical pressure in the air was at a level so strong, the dragon knew that even Celestial felt it. It snuffed out Sol's deadly negative Ki.
 Then she saw him. And judging by Sol's expression, he too had his attention on the being in the sky. 
Chiyo used that opportunity to get as far away from the Falcon as possible. She DID NOT want to be caught in that. 
The being's eyes glowed bright white like ghostly flames. On his back were spiky angel-like wings. Crest power radiated from him, speaking to the dragon of Blood and Vengeance. 
The black aura that roared off him looked like a twisted version of a live sun. The eerie lightning storm which released red, gold, and…black bolts didn't make this scene better. Chiyo's draconic instincts only made her secretly look forward to what was going to happen next. She turned on her dragon senses, which would allow her to track the magic and power used. The young woman would then mentally translate that in an instant. 
"Ah, I thought I recognized you," Sol said to the obvious…super god. "So this is Stone Mode? No, that can't be right. Something's messing with my analyze. A pussy like you."
Chiyo translated the foreign magic he used which was called Analyze.

Elementals…were said to have vanished millions of years ago. 

Chiyo gasped. Just what the hell happened to him? Clyde answered her mental question.
 "Sol, there is always a price to pay for your actions," he said. "However, I will not be paying that, because I make the rules. You attacked and killed my best friend, without provocation and for the hell of it. But I'm not here to give you a lecture. I speak only for the benefit of the witness, for what I'm about to do to you will be morally black."
Sol rolled his eyes. "So that wind bitch of a slut was your friend? Ha! I hope her death was painful as possible. Make all the threats you want, I slapped you around and let you live. I'll slap you around again while showing you my Falcon Mode."
A message through the magic translated in Chiyo's mind.

[Sol has entered… Sol has been sentenced to death, torture, and...]
[PVP Combat…]
[Death.]

Shouldn't that be life and death, Chiyo thought. 


Clyde's movement was instantaneous. He simply appeared next to Sol, fiery eyes blazing with white fire.

[This instant-death attack was held back…]

Black lightning howled loudly from Clyde's fists as he delivered three deadly punches. One to Sol's ribs, which cracked. Another to his skull, which also cracked. The last to his leg, which broke so badly, a large fragment of bone poked out of the skin. Blood sprayed.
Chiyo winced as she realized the god's attacks went through the Falcon's natural barrier as if it weren't there. 
Sol yelled as he choked on what appeared to be a healing potion. 
 "Good, heal, because I'm not done with you," Clyde said as his hand clamped around Sol's throat. All of Clyde's movements were too fast to see—Chiyo maxed out her dragon senses just to keep up. 
Clyde flew Sol high into the sky and then threw him down to the earth, following it up with a lot of black lightning. The Falcon burst into flames as he collided with the ground after moving millions of miles per second. Chiyo contained the energy of the collision to the best of her ability, inside a bubble. 
Clyde suddenly stomped down on Sol from hundreds of feet in the air, causing the Falcon to yell in agony. It was a miracle that he still lived. The Stone clearly prolonged this.

[Sol activated Jump.]

[Unable to Jump due to Clyde's Immense Unstoppable Pressure.]

Sol rolled over, but didn't get the chance to cast. Oh he certainly thought he could try a sneak move and make a run for it, but Chiyo doubted the Falcon would easily get off the ground. 
Clyde grabbed his hand.
 "You don't need these fingers. And hey, deciding Tessa's death should've inspired you to sing. Let me help you."
He snarled and smashed his fist into Sol's face a dozen times, before breaking his fingers, one by one. The angry Stone didn't stop there. With a single hand, he broke one of the Falcon's arms. 
Chiyo's heart pounded in utter fear as she kept her distance, honoring the Stone's wish that she witness this execution. Sol was definitely an orchestra, the octaves of his screaming changing almost every second. 
 "You still think this is a game, Sol?" Clyde said. "How about it? Power up to your best. Go ahead. I'll wait."
The moment Sol moved, the Stone appeared in front of him, delivering a throat-crushing kick.
 "Oh what's that?" Clyde said. "An unprovoked sudden attack?" He vanished, instantly reappearing next to the gagging Falcon. The Stone's aura actually lit Sol's clothes on fire. He used his good hand to put them out as Clyde watched him with eyes so intense, they generated white flames on the side. He also let the Falcon chug a potion. 
Raising a hand into the air, Clyde charged something that Chiyo could not quite understand. She…felt. No way. Purity? But that couldn't be. Just a small amount of that could level planets.

Black energy poured from the mouth of the sky to pound against the newly healed Falcon. Chiyo sighed in relief that the planet didn't explode. Which meant…which meant…but this was unheard of. He stood as the first being ever to control and reshape purity, not counting the mythical avatars. 
Sol's skin melted faster than he could regenerate, yet Clyde didn't appear to be finished with him. He stopped his rain of purity, then grabbed Sol by the throat. The first smash was to the ground which created a fifty-foot wide crater. Chiyo could tell, mentally comparing it to holes she'd seen in the past. 
The second smash was through a bunch of trees. Well, Clyde sent him flying extremely fast into a forest. And that gave Sol the time he needed to invoke…a second transformation.
Sol had called upon the assistance of the God of Flight. 

[Sol invoked Primary Falcon Mode.]

[Sol's intense pressure was negated by Clyde's Omnipresent pressure.]

Sol launched out of the forest as a giant silver energy-coated Falcon. Chiyo struggled against his normal Falcon Mode. She internally shuddered at the thought of attempting to face this. As much as her dragon pride wanted to scold her, she was completely aware of the transformations that could ignore all levels or even take a person out of the restrictive system entirely. She placed that in the mental bullshit Dues ex Machina folder and called it a day. 
Clyde hovered into the air, completely unfazed by the giant bird. It screeched, charging city-destroying negative Ki with its beak.   
It never got the chance to fire. The Stone teleported right in front of the bird and with one hand and a squeeze, crushed its beak. He teleported by one of the legs, grabbing one of them and cartoon slamming it side to side, creating craters the size of large houses. Chiyo would undo the damage to the road and the area around it after the execution ended. 
 "I think it's time to end this," Clyde said as he teleported above the bird. Abruptly he crashed down on top of it while still standing up straight. The breaking and cracking of the Falcon's back, along with the ear-piercing screams said everything. Chiyo took notice of the Falcon's blood all over the place. She'd have to make that disappear too. 
Suddenly, Clyde waved a finger, causing all of the energy-feathers to rip themselves off the Falcon in an instant. The bird's wail of agony became a man's deepthroated scream as the transformation undid itself.    
Clyde unleashed several more punches and kicks to the Falcon's head and face, drawing more blood. He looked as if he was about to stop holding back.
Abruptly—just like that, with a single swift hand motion, he actually ripped out Sol's throat. 
 "Your torture is only beginning," Clyde said. "Enjoy your trip to Venus's Hell."
Sol's lifeless body fell to the ground, truly dead. It didn't burst into purple flames like everyone else, it just laid there.  Clyde set it on fire with just a thought. "So…our bodies don't turn into flames."
He looked at the sky. "I'm truly sorry, Tessa. You didn't deserve your fate. I know his death won't be enough…" 
Clyde turned to Chiyo. "Go ahead and do your thing. I'm headed back to Lot City." 
Chiyo watched him disappear…but…he didn't seem like he went home. His power…Why didn't he undo the transformation?
She rarely got the chance to witness such power. This was perhaps the most one-sided battle she'd ever witnessed in her life. Two participants of the stone-viper games were already dead. 
The stone-viper games. A cruel game, purposely spelled with all lower-case letters, its roots embedded with tragedy. Now it continued.

Sol found himself falling in an endless black with something shining below. What a turn of events. His father once told him that death meant the release of fear, pain, and all emotions. Maybe that applied for ordinary people, but his fear still remained, amplified to the max, along with so much pain. 
What he fought was no human, no man, but something else. 
Sol couldn't die yet. He wasn't finished. He couldn't! The stone-viper games were his! The Falcon games deserved to exist, to be the face of the universe. There was so much to accomplish, so many plans.
He couldn't… A voice caught his attention.
 "You really think this is over."
His heart raced in utter terror as he turned to see Clyde at his side in that same form, brewing with power. But…how could he be in the death plain? This was impossible, even for the Bright Ones. This…
Clyde grabbed Sol by the throat.
 "You know," Clyde said, "I wasn't sure I could do this, but Soul Travel is one hell of an OP power. I'll need to find a way to grind Jump out to unlock this. Hell, it may be forbidden." He grinned evilly at the terrified Falcon. "Time will barely pass in the outside world by the way." He looked around, as if admiring the blackness and wind. "Falling to Hell in a place like this. It's the pre-scare before the scare." He eyed Sol, frown returning. "I've never been a sadist, but hearing that you killed my friend while she was attempting to get medicine for some sick children, kind of made me reconsider, at least in this case."  
 "Please," actually came from Sol's lips as he trembled in utter terror.
Clyde materialized a jagged bloodred sword. "Did you show mercy to those who you attacked? Did you not throw my best friend in front of a truck to die? Did you not knock her from hundreds of feet in the air? If she weren't the Wind, it would be death from above. You brought these consequences upon yourself." 
In an instant, Sol felt the agony of being stabbed and slashed hundreds of times. Clyde snarled, smashing his fist against the Falcon's face again and again. Each time the pain grew worse until Sol wished he could be put out of his misery. 
Abruptly, the punches stopped, but the hand around his neck still held. He looked at the frowning…demon. 
 "Sol, I'm your first torturer," Clyde said. "I may not be able to enter Hell, because I sure as shit will give the demons awaiting some ideas, but I'll make you understand the gravity of what you did." Sol saw the fist before his vision was but an explosion of stars and pain. "Did no one explain anything to you about the stone-viper games? Did you not see the vision of the Viper casually killing off an entire population while using less than one percent of his power? There are bigger things going on and the last thing I need is to waste time on a piece of shit like you."
Clyde spent another hour beating and slashing up Sol before letting him drop. Erasing the Falcon would be too easy. He had to let the turd fall to damnation. 
And fall did Sol, filled with an eternity's worth of raw pain.

The avatar of Taint couldn't stop laughing. Never in his life had he witnessed a more satisfying conclusion to a fight than that. To think travel to the death plain was possible by someone alive. It was restricted to even deities so that souls could pass without interference.

Walaupun Rhode setuju dengan saran Marlene, dia tahu bahwa senjata itu masih belum berguna. Persyaratan yang dia terapkan pada anak-anak buahnya adalah memiliki kemampuan untuk menggunakan sihir-sihir jangkauan luas serta memiliki kekuatan bertarung yang tinggi agar mereka bisa bertarung dari jarak dekat dengan efektif. Pasukan Pemburu Iblis terdiri dari para manusia-manusia setengah iblis yang terlahir dari transaksi jahat antara manusia dan iblis. Oleh karena itu, banyak manusia setengah iblis yang memiliki ciri-ciri seorang iblis. Itulah salah satu alasan kenapa orang-orang takut pada penampilan mereka. Di tengah-tengah masyarakat, beberapa manusia iblis menelantarkan diri asli mereka sedangkan yang lainnya memutuskan untuk melawan takdir mereka. Tidak hanya diberkati dengan kondisi fisik yang bagus, mereka juga memiliki kekuatan jiwa yang tinggi. Beberapa manusia setengah iblis bahkan memiliki bakat dan skill dari para iblis. Mereka bisa memanipulasi api, es, dan petir. Rhode membutuhkan kekuatan mereka. 
Selain itu, Rhode juga tidak terlalu mengkhawatirkan mereka seperti Marlene. Dia telah menyelesaikan serangkaian misi 'Cahaya Kesedihan dan Kejayaan' dari para manusia setengah iblis. Dalam rangkaian misi itu, para pemain harus menjadi penengah antara manusia dengan manusia setengah iblis dalam Black Fin Coast, menyelesaikan kesalahapahaman antara kedua pihak, dan bertarung bersama mereka untuk mendapatkan kepercayaan dari para manusia. Ketika misi itu berakhir, akhirnya para manusia setengah iblis mendapatkan akhir yang memuaskan. Mereka mendapatkan kepercayaan dari para manusia dan mendapatkan daerah tempat tinggal khusus di dalam Black Fin Coast. Di sisi lain, para pemain menerima ungkapan terima kasih dan hadiah dari para manusia setengah iblis berupa perlengkapan-perlengkapan level tinggi. Setiap pemain yang menyelesaikan rangkaian misi itu tidak meragukan sifat asli para manusia setengah iblis yang penampilannya aneh.
Namun, kebahagiaan mereka hanya berlangsung sesaat. Setelah Negara Kegelapan menghancurkan perbatasan Kerajaan Munn, Pasukan Pemburu Iblis berinisiatif melindungi para penduduk sipil dan pada akhirnya gugur dalam peperangan….Entah itu merupakan akhir yang terhormat atau menyedihkan bagi mereka.
Rhode memercayai Pasukan Pemburu Iblis. Selain itu, dia telah mengirimkan beberapa anak buahnya untuk mengumpulkan informasi dalam Black Fin Coast. Informasi yang dia dapatkan mirip dengan yang ada di dalam game. Hal itu membuatnya sangat percaya diri. 
Sama seperti Kelompok Mage Petarung. Sebagian besar orang tahu bahwa Kelompok Mage Petarung didirikan oleh para Mage yang melepaskan diri dari Asosiasi Mage. Secara teknis, Kelompok Mage Petarung agak mirip dengan para kultus. Namun, Rhode mengetahui sejarah Kelompok Mage Petarung dengan detail. Mereka dibentuk untuk mencari sebuah senjata yang menghilang dalam sejarah dan senjata ini sangat penting bagi mereka. Selain itu, dia juga punya beberapa cara yang bisa menjamin bahwa Kelompok Mage Petarung akan mengambil umpannya. 
Bagaimanapun juga, Rhode adalah seorang pemain. Para pemain sangat sensitif dengan berbagai macam artifak legendaris.
Setelah mengirimkan dua surat itu, Rhode mulai menunggu dengan tenang

Sol berjalan mondar-mandir di dekat pintu masuk dan menatap badai salju yang ada di luar dengan cemas. Angin dingin berhembus melalui celah pintu tapi Sol tidak merasa kedinginan. Dia memakai sebuah baju pelindung kulit berbulu. Sebuah pedang menggantung di pinggangnya. Kulitnya yang berwarna coklat dan tubuhnya yang kekar membuat Sol terlihat berwibawa, tapi ada perbedaan mencolok antara dirinya dengan manusia biasa yaitu dua tanduk hitam yang melengkung ke belakang dan mencuat keluar dari rambutnya. 
"Sol, bisakah kau berhenti mondar-mandir? Kau membuatku pusing."
Seorang wanita yang duduk di dekat api unggun mengeluh. Tubuhnya yang ramping terbalut dalam baju pelindung berwarna hitam. Wajahnya yang cantik terlihat menggoda. Tapi matanya terlihat seperti mata ular yang berwarna merah. Rambutnya berkobar seperti api. Jika dilihat dari dekat, ada api samar yang berkobar di antara rambut panjangnya yang berwarna merah, dengan bunga-bunga api yang berpercikan. 
"Aku mengkhawatirkan Aboni dan Elizabeth. Hanya itu saja." 
Sol berhenti berjalan. Dia berbalik badan dan merentangkan tangannya dengan pasrah. 
"Mereka sudah pergi terlalu lama. Walaupun musim dingin datang lebih cepat dari dugaan kita, mereka seharusnya sudah kembali sekarang. Kenapa mereka belum juga kembali?"
"Mungkinkah mereka telah tertangkap?"
Ada wanita lain yang meringkuk di depan perapian. Tubuhnya bergetar. Dia mengenakan jubah. Dia membuka matanya dan berbicara dengan cemas. Sol menggeleng dan mengalihkan perhatiannya ke sekitar bangunan sederhana yang menjadi tempat tinggal mereka. Ini sebenarnya bukanlah tempat tinggal mereka. Sebaliknya, tempat ini adalah biara yang terlantar di tengah alam liar. Sol memiliki lebih dari 30 teman yang duduk di aula yang hancur. Raut wajah mereka tampak lelah dan putus asa. Tapi sekarang, mereka tidak tahu harus pergi kemana…Meskipun mereka telah bekerja keras, namun kenyataan sangatlah kejam. Sebagian besar orang yang ada di sini tidak bersedia menerima mereka. Meskipun tidak ada pasukan prajurit malaikat yang muncul di tempat ini menurut rumor yang mereka dengar, namun Sol khawatir kalau mereka akan segera datang. 
"Ketua, mereka kembali!" 
Seorang pria berseru. Sol melihat keluar jendela. Dua sosok hitam berjalan ke depan dengan pelan. Sesaat kemudian, seorang pemuda dan wanita memasuki biara sambil membawa sebuah tas besar yang berisikan sejumlah barang. Mereka mengibaskan salju dari tubuh mereka dan menghirup napas dalam-dalam. 
"Woah…Dinginnya…"
Pemuda itu meletakkan tas besar tersebut dan berjalan menuju perapian. Sementara itu, si wanita muda menurunkan tudungnya dan tersenyum manis pada Sol.
"Ah, kak Sol, kita sudah pulang."
"Akhirnya kalian kembali, Aboni, Elizabeth." 
Sol menghela napas lega. 
"Apa yang terjadi? Kenapa kalian pergi begitu lama? Bukankah aku sudah memberikan perintah untuk membeli sejumlah rangsum dari si Carl tua sebagai persediaan selama musim dingin? Kenapa? Apakah ada sesuatu yang terjadi? Apakah kalian ditangkap oleh seseorang? Atau jangan-jangan…Si Carl tua…"
"Bukan begitu, kak Sol. Badai salju di luar terlalu kencang sehingga perjalanan kami pun tertunda. Jadi kami membutuhkan banyak waktu untuk…Ah!"
Si wanita muda bernama Elizabeth memekik seakan-akan dia teringat dengan sesuatu. 
Dia mengambil sebuah surat dari dalam saku bajunya.
"Ngomong-ngomong, kak Sol, ini ada surat untukmu."
"Surat?"
Sol mengambilnya dan menatap Elizabeth dengan bingung.
"Dari mana?"
"Aku juga tidak tahu. Tuan Carl yang menyerahkan surat itu pada kami. Dia berkata bahwa beberapa hari lalu seseorang menyuruhnya untuk menyerahkan surat ini pada kita."
"Oh?"
Wanita muda yang duduk di dekat perapian berjalan mendekati Sol. Tidak hanya dia, yang lainnya juga ikut berkumpul di sekitar perapian. Hal ini bisa dianggap sebagai pengalaman baru bagi Pasukan Pemburu Iblis. Mereka belum pernah menerima surat dari siapa-siapa dan selalu menjadi simbol kebencian. "Hahaha. Apakah ini ditulis oleh Yang Mulia Lydia? Aku dengar dia baik. Dia mungkin setuju membiarkan kita menemukan pekerjaan di Kerajaan Munn?"
"Apa yang sedang kau bicarakan? Apakah kau sedang mabuk? Yang Mulia Lydia adalah seorang Archangel. Meskipun dia berbeda dengan Arcangel-Archangel terdahulu namun apakah kau percaya bahwa dia akan memperhatikan orang-orang seperti kita?"
"Aiya. Hentikan omong kosong ini. Kak Sol, segera buka surat itu dan beritahu kita!"
"Ya! Buka surat itu!"
Karena desakan teman-temannya, Sol membuka surat itu. Kemudian raut wajahnya berubah dalam sekejap saat dia membaca surat itu. Dia segera membaca surat itu dan mengangkat kepalanya dengan tatapan kosong. 
"Ada apa, Sol? Apa isi surat itu?"
Wanita muda berambut merah api berbicara dengan tidak sabar sedangkan yang lainnya menatap Sol dengan penasaran. Sol menunjukkan raut wajah yang kebingungan dan menelan ludahnya. Setelah menenangkan diri, dia berbicara. 
"Surat ini…datang dari Land of Atonement..Penguasa Grenbell telah mengundang kita secara langsung untuk menjadi prajurit-prajurit pribadinya…"
"Apa?!"
Semua orang terpaku ketika mendengar ucapan Sol.


Rhode adalah pemimpin guild legendaris yang paling berpengaruh dalam game Virtual Reality Multiple Player, Dragon  Soul Continent. Demi mengatasi rasa kesedihan karena adiknya meninggal dunia,  dia memainkan game tersebut selama tujuh tahun. Selama ini, Rhode berusaha mengurangi kesedihannya lewat game, tetapi sayang, hidupnya kembali hancur saat mendengar kedua orang tuanya meninggal akibat kecelakaan pesawat.

Zander led Scythe into a deep underground hall, filled with body parts of massive creatures, horns, claws, scales, hides, bones, and a range of parts. At the end of the hall, there was a small door compared to the rest of the room. "Use anything here." Zander said, "We can't do anything with these parts, but we do know their value. That room on the end has even weirder parts, from creatures I don't know, or even heard of."

"Huh. So what else?" Scythe asked, "about the demon?"

"The demon..." Zander stalled, "we found evidence of a blood magic ritual, and an arm we think came from the demon, but the moment we touched it, it crystalized becoming impossible to lift. after a time, it degraded. there isn't an arm anymore. Just a pile of dust."

"Huh. but why are you and Astela so scared of it?" Scythe asked

"Blood magic demons, need blood to survive and grow. After how many it killed, I'm worried there 
isn't anyone who can deal with it." Zander turned grim, "but it hasn't been seen anywhere in a four-day radius around the castle. Just the army, but many of them are getting killed by something. All of the evidence says lightning strikes. but lightning chasing an army, makes me think it's magic."

"I would as well. So what would you recommend for the arm?"

"probably dragon bone. There is a piece, in the little room." Zander started walking, "Come."

Walking in the hall would make anyone feel small, going through the small door, Ruun filled the air. 

"What is this feeling?" Scythe asked,

"We don't know either, it's like pure magic but isn't." Zander spoke, "The bone is right there."

A comparably small horn floated in suspense, it still was at least four and a half feet long. "That should work. The Scarvo like to work dragon bone, and dragons give them shed scales and horns to work with. But rarely do they get to work on great materials such as this." Zander informed, "When you go, look for Ed, he's an old magitech master. He is a genius. I had the opportunity once to 
watch him work. It was beautiful to watch."

"I'll make sure to go to him." Scythe walked to the horn. Something within it pulsed, showing Scythe 
the path that Red gave him, again.

"Hey, are you alright?" Zander asked

"Yeah, just fine." Scythe grabbed the bone, with nothing more happening.

"While you travel, keep it covered. If the dragons knew of this place, I'm sure they would invade." Zander said.

"I will." Scythe answered.

Back on the surface, Zander and Scythe each went to bed. On his way back to his room, Scythe saw Sol, looking at the painting of the Twin Goddesses. "Hey, Sol." Scythe waved

"Hey," Sol spoke in a monotone voice.

"What's bothering you?" Scythe asked

"This painting, I know who made it." Sol said, "She was quite the artist. But this... this isn't her 
painting. There was no black and purple flame then. Just Phae's magic. I asked around, apparently, 
it's been like this for at least five generations."

"So this painting was you, Luna and Phae?"

"Yes, We controlled much of the land, keeping a semblance of peace between the humans and 
dragons. We named you after a close friend from that time. His name was Scythe Silver-Moon, I do not know where he is now. Just that he is beyond my sight now." Sol answered.

"I was named after a hero?" Scythe perked up, "I've read the books, what was he like in person?"

"Much like yourself." Sol answered, "He was skilled in many things, but his life was dark. He lost his 
family in front of him, his magic bored through his body. By the time, his journey reached the end, he was no longer human, but his heart stayed the same. Through trials and tribulations."

"They never said that in the books." Scythe leaned back.

"Who would want to read a story of countless deaths? magic curses? Your own family dying in your 
arms?" Sol spoke

"I don't think anyone would."

"My point." Sol said, "You should get some rest. You have a long ride ahead of you."

"Yeah," Scythe waved goodbye and went to his room.

Freed from a life of slavery, Scythe learns how to readjust to what most call a normal life. As normal as a high fantasy world is. A blessing and a curse, Phae guides Scythe throguh his journey, teaching him how to survive.

Zhang Yu looked out the window into the starry sky, feeling a little bored. Long space travels were dry and uninteresting, especially to someone like him, who had lost interest in a great deal of things.

The ship's broadcast system suddenly came online. "Attention all passengers! Attention all passengers! Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be redirecting our flight to Planet Yi Ju. We apologize for the inconvenience!" The broadcast went silent after that.

Zhang Yu's face twitched. They were hijacked! That idea immediately came to him, and he activated the comms device on his wrist almost instinctively.

The ship went silent for a moment, and then all hell broke loose! The passengers looked furious. Some of them even demanded to see the Captain. However, Zhang Yu noticed that a few people in the crowd kept their calm, with wary looking eyes.

Zhang Yu felt a vibration from his comms device. He lifted his wrist to have a look, and felt even more troubled. His comms device registered nothing. All communication signals onboard the ship were disabled! However, he was slightly comforted by the fact that his distress message had been sent out. Now, he could only hope that his all-powerful friend could help him.

Without being obvious about it, he deleted the distress message from his comms device as he sat quietly on his seat. Any overreactions right now could potentially invite trouble.

In the captain's cabin, Ye Chong was with Rui Bing, Old Jalopy and Fei Si. Beside them, an innocent looking alloy chair laid broken on the floor. Everyone in the ship looked shaken. They looked at the four of them with terrified eyes, especially at Rui Bing. With her icy beauty, she was like as terrifying as a cannibal to the crew. A moment ago, Rui Bing had lashed out with a kick without warning, breaking the alloy chair into its current sorry state.

Captain Airi coughed. "Cough, cough. Everyone, let me remind you that while you are strong enough to force us to reroute our flight, I urge you to reconsider. This flight route is under the protection of the Xue Lai Clan. If we really reroute our flight, I believe that the Xue Lai Clan will react accordingly." His words were meant as a warning - they should really reconsider!

"Thank you for your warning," Ye Chong answered politely. It must be said that Ye Luo and Ye Pang's plan was quite effective.

Looking at the young man's indifference, Captain Airi knew that he would not change his mind. Without any other choice, the Captain gave his orders to the crew members, "Reroute our flight. Our destination - Planet Yi Ju!"

Ye Chong went to the control panel, and immediately shut down all external communications. Since they were still in Xue Lai Clan territory, news of the ship being hijacked would have devastating consequences.

"Please arrange for accommodation for my companions, thank you." Ye Chong spoked politely to the Captain.

Little Rock entered the virtual world as he usually did.

Now, his daily job was to get intel through the virtual world. As the virtual world node laboratory was built, his power increased tremendously. He was now the main source of intel for their group. Little Rock's abilities improved quickly. His extraordinary computational skills allowed him to explore freely in the world of mathematics as he learned more and more. He was not a true super duper Maverick! Even Mu and Shang mostly left this matter to him.

Huh?

Little Rock looked at the distress message he had just received in surprise. Skytreader was one of his few friends in the Maverick circle. He was a well established Maverick, and one of the few Mavericks in the He Yue Galaxy who worked solo.

What happened to him?

Little Rock quickly opened the message.

He can see that the message was pre-crafted. There was no other information. This meant that his situation must be dire. The man must have thought of him when in whatever critical situation he found himself in. Somehow, Little Rock felt touched by this knowledge.

However, he quickly dismissed the sentiment. As a Maverick, he must first and foremost be calm.

He must move quickly!

First, he must find where the message was sent from. Five minutes later, he was able to locate the sender.

Sender location: the Long Distance Travel Starship, Victoria. Message origin location: near Sol Latitude.

Three minutes later, everything there was to know about Victoria was displayed before Little Rock, including its internal schematics, which Little Rock dug out from the Starship Management Office.

"There must be some accident," Little Rock thought quietly.

Sol Latitude's virtual world was particularly well defended, and this surprised Little Rock! He was no longer the amateur of old, and he knew what this special kind of defense meant.

Could it be …

However, this was obviously not the time to explore Sol Latitude's mysteries. Sol Latitude might be well guarded, but that could not stop a Maverick like Little Rock.

The landing dock did not have records of Victoria's landing. According to their schedule, the ship should have docked at the planet by now. This meant that something had happened to Victoria.

Was the ship hijacked?

Little Rock frowned.

Victoria's external communications were cut off. Little Rock tried to reach the ship in vain.

This did not discourage Little Rock. On the contrary, he was feeling excited about the fight ahead! Not giving up was one of the main reasons he had become a powerful Maverick. He was rigid, but strong and determined, never one to cower before obstacles.

"Then, a battle it is!" Little Rock's tiny frame radiated with a strong battle intent!

"Boss … Boss …" A young man stumbled into the room, speaking panickedly.

"What is it?" The one called Boss was a middle aged man, and he frowned at the interruption.

"Someone … Someone hacked into our regional network. We lost all our holographic feeds!" The young man gulped repeatedly as he stuttered out his words.

"What?!" The middle aged man could no longer stay calm. He pushed away his desk and abruptly stood up, flabbergasted.

On the holographic screen, one could see that a Maverick was making every move with speed and calmness. Like most traditional swordsman, every move was clear but unbeatable!

"Dragon-Tiger Match, what are you up to?" The middle aged man muttered to himself.

In Xue Lai Clan's virtual world control center.

The air was thick with tension. Every working staff wore a grim expression.

"First defense node failed …"

"Second defense node failed …"

"Enemy is hacking the third defense node… Third defense node failed …"

A beautiful feminine voice delivered the words that sounded like they came from a nightmare. Every one of them in the center looked pale.

"Surveillance system is lost!" This sentence hammered down heavily on their hearts!

On the holographic screen, a handsome tiger-man and a lovely dragon-lady were intimately clinging onto each other in an intensely suggestive way, but everyone looked at the image with nothing but fear in their eyes.

"Dragon-Tiger Match, what are you up to?"

On that day, a powerful Maverick called Dragon-Tiger Match shocked the entire He Yue Galaxy. In just three hours, 35 planets including Sol Latitude at the center lost their surveillance systems.

The arousing image of the handsome tiger-man and dragon-lady entwined together spread across the entire He Yue Galaxy.

Dragon-Tiger Match was actually Little Rock, but the symbol was designed by someone else.

According to tradition, every Maverick would have their own symbol. Once, when Little Rock, Mu and Shang discussed about it, Shang had volunteered to design his.

In this respect, Little Rock was remarkably similar to Ye Chong - he left it all to Shang.

Hence, by drawing inspiration from "Fiery Battle of between Dragon and Tiger" and "Playboy", Shang presented his design of the symbol in all its glory, and called it the Dragon-Tiger Match. When Zhu Ling saw the symbol, she had blushed deeply for a whole 30 seconds. The beautiful dragon-lady looked very much like Zhu Ling, while the handsome tiger-man looked like Little Rock.

Little Rock was satisfied with the design. He may not know much about aesthetics, but he did know that this symbol would only take up a bare minimum of resources from the photon processor.

From then on, the enticing Dragon-Tiger March had become Little Rock's very own symbol.

Little Rock did not have time to think about how impressive his work was. He alone controlled many, many holographic feeds, all the while fending off waves of counter attacks from the other side. There was no time to think about anything else.

The counter attacks were strong!

Little Rock was sweating all over. The neverending waves of counter attacks exhausted him, but he held on.

An event of such a huge scale had caught the attention of all the Mavericks in the He Yue Galaxy! Many of them were keeping a close eye on the proceedings. However, every Maverick was astonished by the power of Dragon-Tiger Match. Little Rock's strength was deeply etched into their hearts.

Found it!

Little Rock felt encouraged. One of the holographic feeds had Victoria in it.

Little Rock quickly accessed his star chart, and began to analyze Victoria's trajectory to deduce its destination.

Just when everyone was trembling in excitement at this unprecedented war in the virtual world, Dragon-Tiger Match did something else that once again demonstrated his prowess!

Suddenly, Dragon-Tiger Match vanished into thin air, gone from the virtual world in an instant. No matter how hard they looked, no one could find him. When the control center staff members regained control of the surveillance system, they found to their surprise that all their information, including voice passcodes, were unaltered from before. Dragon-Tiger Match had left without leaving a single trace!

The incident that sparked a lively conversation all around had started without warning, and ended without just as abruptly! People began to guess the identity of this Dragon-Tiger Match, but more were talking about the alluring symbol of the dragon-tiger couple.

It was said that long after the incident, He Yue Galaxy's many large pornographic magazine publishers tried hard to find out who the mysterious Maverick was. They hoped to obtain the rights to use the symbol. From a professional point of view, using the symbol as the cover of a porn magazine was absolutely classic!

However, the perpetrator behind it all, Little Rock, was now staring fixedly on the holographic screen that displayed the flying starship, Victoria!

Mirajane watches with horror as stone creeps up to encapsulate her brother as he is trapped within his own mind.

"Elfman, hang in there! Wake up!" she screams out, hoping he will hear her voice and break free from the mental torture he is going through.

"Elfman!" As the stone spell spreads, Elfman is forced to watch that terrible day over and over again, unable to change anything. Seeing his precious little sister dying again and again tears his heart into pieces.

When he is almost completely turned to stone, Elfman says in a monotone, "Nee-chan. Lisanna…"  Unseen by Mira or Sol, tears pour out of the one eye that has yet to be covered by stone. Mira sobs out her little brother's name and by some random bit of luck he was able to hear her crying out his name through the spell clouding his mind. 

With great mental strength he works on throwing off the shackles of the Merci la Vie to come back to his senses and to save his elder sister.

"Elfman, hang in there!" Cries out Mira with less strength than before as the fingers are still slowly crushing her. 

Reaching out one hand to try to reach her beloved little brother she continues to shout, "I can't… lose you too!" Tears roll down her eyes more from the pain of losing her brother than the pain of being crushed.
 
"Now, it's about time for the finale!" says Sol triumphantly as his back is turned to the siblings. Fully confident that they are well and truly caught and are about to die.
"Why's that?" Elfman asks still in the monotone voice. Surprised to hear Elfman's voice, Sol turns around while fiddling with his monocle. 
"Oh?" he asks, more to himself than to Elfman. The rock that encases the Take Over mage glows brightly with a yellow light.
"I vowed never to see my sister's tears again!" Elfman says with more feeling as he is almost done breaking away from the spell cast on him. The rock that held him down breaks away in the light freeing Elfman once more. 
"So what are ya' crying for?!" He asks in a loud shout of his sister as his over protectiveness for her kicks in.
"That light…" Mira murmurs. Realizing what it means, she screams out to her brother, "Don't do it Elfman! You can't!"
"Who was it that made her cry!?" Elfman roars out in anger.
Stunned, Sol cries out in disbelief, "It's impossible! You are not capable of doing a full body Take Over!" He gets blown back by the force of Elfman's magic as the magic circle for a Full Body Take Over appears just before it covers Elfman's body to transform it. 
"Incredible!" Sol gasps out in awe as he watches from where he landed, still holding onto his monocle. The light fades away and a large dark form rises from the rubble. A deep voice rumbles with a grunt as it looks around. Sol starts shaking in fear as menacing, glowing eyes fixate upon him. 
"O-Oh, my! That's…" he stammers out as a primal part of him starts to take over.
"That's… A Full Body Take Over! Beast Soul!" Mira says to herself, afraid that her brother isn't able to handle it. The dust clears to reveal Elfman in his new form. Over four times the size of what he was before, he is now immense. Red and white fur covers his body, and two large horns grows out of his head. His shirt is now in tatters from the massive size change. Sharp fangs now line his gaping maw as he roars out in anger.
"I-It can't be… This is…" Sol continues to stammer out petrified. "Non! Non! Non!" he cries out in fear. He tries a desperate attempt to salvage the rapidly deteriorating situation. 
"With non of three, you misunderstand me! I, Monsieur, gave you such a harsh trial for you to finally overcome your difficult past, bonsoir!" In his attempt to try to trick Elfman, he has become very animated in his movements. "You are indeed a Man among men, Elfman! I, Monsieur, believed you could overcome it! Right?" gushes out Sol with fake sincerity. Elfman tilts his head with a grunt at the strange man's antics.
"Well then, if you'll be excusing me…" Sol says while taking a large step backwards. In response, Elfman leans forward and punches Sol into the air with one of his long arms. "How dare you!" Sol cries out indignantly as he flies up high. With a graceful twirl, Sol recovers while still in mid air and sends off an attack towards Elfman. 
"Pltre… Sonate!" he shouts out and an even larger fist, many times larger than the first one, shoots out towards Elfman. It hits him square in the chest.
"Non, non, non… Don't let your guard down now." Sol chides in victory. A large  thump sounds behind him, causing the Element 4 mage to freeze in fear again. Elfman lets out a breath in a hiss as he stands over Sol with one fist raised up. 
"Non! Non! Non!" the green haired man cries out as he is hit by the punch that destroys almost the entire floor. Elfman continues to punch the mage, and each one makes Sol cry out in pain. Mirajane looks on at the spectacle, hoping beyond hope that her brother is in control, and not the beast within. 
"Elfman." she calls out helplessly. Elfman stops as if he heard her to let Sol pass out from the beating that he was given. 
"Oooh… Oui…" is the last thing he says as he slips into unconsciousness. A pale purple form seemingly coming out of Sol tries to float away while saying, "Je t'aime…" Elfman grabs it and shoves it back into Sol. The process wakes him back up and he lets out a cry of fear. Elfman grabs a hold of him in one large hand while Sol protests loudly.
"Noo! At least let me fall unconscious!" he begs of Elfman. Ignoring his pleas, Elfman continues to beat up the mage that has tried to kill him only moments ago.
Worried that her brother may be losing control, Mira calls out, "Elfman!" to try to get his attention. The pale purple form of Sol tries to escape and lets out a faint goodbye as Elfman's attention has now shifted. Moving quickly, Elfman rushes outside and hurries towards his sister as his form shrinks. She doesn't notice that the pale yellow glow in Elfman's eyes has faded away so his gaze is now clear. 
Worried that the beast has taken over, she cautiously asks, "So…Can you…" Hopping around as a fast pace, Elfman comes closer and closer to Mira without saying anything and her worry and fear rises. "...hear my voice?" she finishes weakly. A large clang of claws on metal sounds as Elfman lands next to his older sister. He growls as he looks at her.
"Could you have lost your reason again?" she asks, afraid for her brother and for herself. "Elfman!" she calls out, hoping to reach him within the beast. With a quick movement, Elfman lunges forward which causes Mira to flinch. A strong shove and the crushing sensation is replaced by the feeling of a strong arm wrapped around her body. Looking up in shock, she stares at her brother's face feeling speechless.
"I'm sorry nee-chan… You must never have wanted to see me like this again. Because I wasn't able to control it, Lisanna…" Elfman says gruffly in a sad voice. He pulls her away from the edge of the fingers so she can stand upright before enveloping his sister in a hug. 
When her voice returns, she says in quiet shock, "You still have your reason!"
"But I didn't know what else to do." Elfman continues, still upset. "I had to get stronger to protect you and Fairy Tail!" He ends with conviction, waiting to hear his sister pass her judgment.
She smiles softly up at her little brother before saying, "Lisanna's death wasn't your fault. You were trying your best to protect us both back then." At her kind words, Elfman releases his magic to return back to normal. 
"But I failed." he retorts sadly, looking downcast as the guilt returns. "Lisanna died." he continues. A soft look enters Mira's eyes and she goes to lean against her brother in a hug.
"But I'm still here." she replies warmly.
"Nee-chan…" Elfman says, while feeling a mixture of emotions. Hate, rage, guilt, grief, fear, love, kindness, warmth all swirling within him like a maelstrom.
"We decided together, remember? To live in her stead. To work as hard as we could…" The white-haired woman says warmly, encouragingly to help her brother through his troubling emotions. At hearing her words, his love for his sister grew and all the other negative feelings faded away. His eyes closed as he struggled not to cry. His efforts fail as tears leak out from his eyes.
Elfman throws back his head and yells, "Nee-chan! I'm so glad you're alright!" before he starts to sob loudly. With her hands on her hips, Mira looks on at her crying brother with amused exasperation. 
"And how is crying going to help anything?" she asks. 
"But!" he cries out in protest, unable to say anything else due to the grief that he suffered through again due to Sol merciless attack to his memories. His sister looks up at him with her eyes full of love. 
"Thank you, Elfman…" she says before her attention is pulled away. 
"What is it nee-chan?" Elfman manages to say as he calms down from his emotional outburst. 
"The giant isn't writing as quickly…" she says thoughtfully. They both turn to face the ever growing magic circle for Abyss Break. Indeed the arm that is making the circle has slowed down. Mira starts to mumble to herself as she tries to puzzle out why the arm has slowed down. 
"The forbidden magic of the four elements… Abyss Break… The four elements. Fire, water, wind, and earth." She gasps as she makes a connection. Turning to face her brother, she asks seriously, "Elfman, how many of the Element 4 are left?" Surprised by her question, he looks off to the side as he thinks it over. 
"Hmm, um… That'd make two left, I guess?" he replies. 
"As I thought!" she responds quickly. "Each time we get one of them, the giant's movements slow down!" she explains. 
"Why is that?" Elfman asks, not knowing what she has been thinking about.
"In other words, this giant is powered by the four elements. If we can defeat all of the Element 4, we can stop the magic!" she tells her brother. At hearing this, he perks up. 
"Really?" he asks excitedly. 
"Hurry! The remaining two should be somewhere inside the giant!" Mira exclaims, trying to get her brother to quickly find the others.
"R-Right!" he stutters, before turning to run back into the transformed guildhall. His sister follows close behind to help search.

Unbeknownst to the two siblings, all of their family on the beach lets out a collective sigh of relief once they find out Mira is safe. Erza has woken up during Krysti's screams and sobs after the guild's model was taken. The two has been holding onto each other, comforting one another until cheering could be heard from the beach. Almost as one, they moved off of the table Erza was on and headed just a little ways out of the guildhall, each helping hold up the other. 
"Rondo! What's going on?" Erza shouts out to a nearby guild member who has been fighting with a magic bo staff. The named person whips his head around and a large smile grows on his face. 
"Erza! You're awake!" His shouts catches the attention of the rest of the guild, and they start to cheer that both injured members are awake and moving. Cana, runs over and almost knocks them both over in her rush to hug them. 
"Erza! I'm so glad you're awake!" Steadying themselves, Erza then proceeds to hug her long-time friend back. 
"Yes, I am too. What happened that caused everyone to cheer earlier?" she says in her not-quite demanding tone that is typical of Erza. 
"Mira has been rescued by Elfman." Cana tells the two excitedly. A smile grows on the face of the redhead. Seeing the happy looks at the mention of the siblings names, Krysti realizes that they must be ok and she too starts to smile as relief floods through her. All three of them share a group hug out of joy. 
"Also…" Cana pauses as she gives them a gleeful look, "Elfman did it in a full body Take Over."
Erza's eyes almost pop out of her head. "Are you sure, Cana?" the scarlet-haired woman asks in a much more serious tone while Krysti looks on confused. The bikini top clad woman nods her head. 
"Saw it with my own eyes. He finally, truly moved on." Erza lets out a large sigh of relief and a small smile graces her features.
"I'm so happy for them both. Now if only Mira can move on as well…" she trails off. Cana nods in agreement. Krysti just stands there biting her lip and just bursting with curiosity. A couple of Shades flies in planning on attacking the distracted group of girls. Before they could hit, two fists made of smoke rushes in and destroys them. Krysti lets out a squeal of surprise while Cana and Erza just look startled.
"You girls might want to plan to have your discussions later, maybe when we aren't getting attacked?" Wakaba scolds. Cana nods her head in agreement before pointing back towards the guildhall. 
"Erza, Krysti. You two both get back in the guildhall where it's safe. You are too injured to fight. You'll get in the way more than help as you are." Krysti nods, understanding what Cana means by her body language and tone and starts to move back to the guildhall with Erza in tow. She gets jerked back as Erza doesn't move.
"Cana, I can fight now. I'm fine." States the redhead stubbornly. Cana glares at her.
"No you are not! Between you and Krysti, I can't tell who looks more like a  mummy!" her eyes softens as she places her hands on Erza's shoulders. "We don't want you to get hurt any more than you are. You won't be any use if you go and get yourself killed when you're not strong enough to fight. Just knowing you're awake has already boosted our morale. We will be fine out here while Gray, Natsu, and Elfman are fighting in the giant. Now go and rest." Erza stares into Cana's eyes for a moment more and Krysti slightly tugs on her to encourage her to go back inside.
"Come on, Erza. The more we rest now, the faster we can recover our strength and help fight." Krysti says gently. Erza quickly looks over at the older brunette, realizing that her translator is gone again. Krysti gently tugs on Erza's arm again and reluctantly she allows Krysti to help her get back inside to rest.
After Elfman's battle with Sol, Natsu and Happy are still making their way up high into the guildhall giant without finding any Phantom mages to fight. As they enter a gargoyle lined hall, a thought occurs to Natsu and he decides to share it with Happy to get his opinion as well. 
"I just thought of something good, Happy!" He crows with a wide grin. The blue cat flies down to get closer to Natsu so they can talk easier. 
"What?" he asks with a hopeful smile on his face.
With an uncharacteristically giddy smile on his face, Natsu turns to look at Happy as he states proudly, "If we beat up José , then that'd end the fight, right?" Shocked by that announcement, Happy forgot to fly and fell to the floor. He jumps back up into the air and faces Natsu as the dragon slayer keeps running down the hall.
"What are you saying?" Happy asks angrily. "José  is just as powerful as our own master! Someone like you could never beat him, Natsu!" Happy continues in a scolding tone. At hearing this, Natsu gets sullen and pouts. 
"But Gramps isn't here, so who else is gonna?" he asks, still pouting that his best friend doesn't like his idea. Natsu's words strike deep within the cat's heart and a wave of gloom washes over him. 
"Natsu, you idiot!" he says in great despair. Hearing the sadness in Happy's voice causes Natsu to stop running in surprise. "I was trying not to think about it, but you made me remember!" Happy accuses him angrily. 
"Wha?" Natsu shouts back, feeling defensive. Happy floats in front of the dragon slayer, eyes closed and his whole body drooping forward as his depression grows. 
"That's right… Master is gone… Erza is gone… No matter what will happens in this war, in the end José  will…" He is cut off as Natsu reaches up and put an encouraging hand on top of Happy's head. Caught off guard, Happy lets out a small gasp as he open his eyes wide to see Natsu grinning up at him with that devil-may-care grin of his. The one that inspires hope in all who see it. 
"I'm here, aren't I?" Natsu asks, completely confident in himself. Happy looks at him, not knowing what to think. Natsu then closes his eyes while grinning wider. "Right?" he asks of Happy. 
His confidence restored thanks to Natsu, Happy shouts out a joyful, "Aye!" and as one the two friends start to hurry back down the hallways looking for the power source of the giant. Happy turns his head to look at the running figure of his best friend and wonders what is it about Natsu that can give someone so much hope for the future no matter how dire the situation. 
They soon enter a large room with a fancy red rug blanketing almost the entire floor. Bronze-looking pillars with green orbs on top line the sides of the carpet creating a path through the room. 
Partway into the room, a sudden blast of air streaks up from behind to knock away the two Fairy Tail members. So completely caught off guard, Natsu falls over backwards and lands on the back of his neck, legs high in the air. Annoyed, he flips up to a sitting position as a voice calls out from a whirlwind that has appeared in the room. 
"The sorrow!" it cries out. The whirlwind dissipates to reveal a large figure cloaked in green and wearing a green top hat. The cloak flaps in a wind not felt by the other two. With his head bowed and body hunched over somewhat, the man continues to speak sadly, "The wings of flame, clipped… Falling to the ground…" the mysterious man starts to stand up straight as he speaks. "Ah, and all that's left is the corpse of a dragon!"
Getting mad, Natsu stands up with a fist upraised planning on beating up the guy in front of him. 
"Natsu, he's one of the Element 4!" Happy warns worriedly. The man in green lifts his head to reveal that his eyes are covered in bandages and that he is crying excessively. 
"My name is Aria!" he sobs out. He raises a hand in the air by his head with his thumb across his palm and the other four fingers sticking straight up in the air. "I am the top of the Element 4! And I have come to hunt me a dragon!" he proclaims sadly, still crying.

When a woman from our world gets taken to the world of the Fairy Tail anime, how will she change the story as we know it? After all, even a small pebble can cause big ripples.

 It has been a week since the assasination attempt and Releina is still distraught, but she has been able to get back to work.  Shanna was appointed to assist her in Anna's place both of them shared a good cry a few days ago. Now we just have to tell Lilynette and Nana when they return which should be soon.  We received a raven that they crossed the border and Seigi went out to bring them back faster.  Once he returns we have our meeting with Venus to go over the church's information today after we talk to Lilynette.  Releina also wants the weddings' done as soon as possible, the plan was for a week from today.  Invitations were already sent out weeks ago and everything is still set, but I was not sure if that would still be a good idea.  However, she insisted saying that Anna had planned most of it and she did not want to ruin the final gift from her.

 The child has started talking and moving around normally she still clings to me but no longer has to be carried everywhere.  After Mumei was finished healing her he reported on her status.

 [I did not end up using part of you to fix her mother, but I did use myself as a blueprint when fixing her.  She is far stronger than I thought even when her soul was falling apart it was struggling to put itself back together.  The little one would have survived much longer than I had originally thought.  The wounds would still have lead to her eventual death but she was fighting against it with every fiber of her being.  Now she might even be able to withstand fathers aura without lethal injury to her soul, not his full might but his aura like before, should not be lethal meaning she can fight beside him.  This little one may be his strongest ally in the future, she will allow him to use his power without fear of killing his ally.  Her name is Nanashi and she may be more resilient than yourself mother.]

 With Seigi-sama by her side, she should not have a childhood similar to mine she may even relish being invulnerable instead of curse it like I did.  Nanashi will grow to be a great hero and fight with Seigi-sama, though I am not sure how I feel about that.  I don't want to put her in harm's way even if she can heal like me, but having her help Seigi-sama seems right to me.  In any case, she is a hero and will have to fight demons until she dies or they are gone, but I will protect her for as long as I can; my little Nanashi.

 Seigi should be returning with Lilynette's party soon so I head to the courtyard to wait for them.  I don't have to wait long before he comes flying in over the castle walls carrying a large metal carriage.  He sets it down and the girls begin to disembark.

 "Sol nee-san that was amazing, Lilynette do you get to do that all the time?"  A young dark elf girl?  No, a boy, yes the younger brother of Sol the letter said both of the younger siblings were coming to see the weddings and visit the kingdom.

 "Ahh don't leave me Jupiter that was scary we were moving way too fast and we were so high up.  Please don't run off I need your help to get down!"  The younger sister Mars, a high elf, twins of different races just like Luna and Sol it is a little odd that that can even happen, but apparently it has been common since the forest nations founding.

 "Nanashi can you help her down she may be ok with you since you are both so young."  Nanashi nods and runs to help her out, Jupiter pauses in shock at seeing her run past him.  He must have been able to tell how strong she is by her stride, the son of a hero like Charlotte likely has great potential too.

 "Little one I can help you down you know."  Sia is offering to help but I think she is scared of her, kids never did get along with Sia.  I have told her many times before she should work in the nursery a bit before she has any children of her own to get over that little weakness of hers.

 "I got you, Mars, you don't have to bother anyone else."  Sol picks her up and jumps down placing her on the ground in front of Nanashi.  She too looks at her with a little shock, I am beginning to wonder if there is something I am missing my daughter doesn't look that odd does she?

 "Oh who is this cutie I don't remember her being part of the staff is she new Mia?"  I dressed her up in one of my old uniforms so Lilynettes mistakes are unavoidable.  Is that why they all looked at her with shock?  Maybe my old clothes are not suitable for a future princess, Releina and I will have to pick out some new clothes for her soon.  Oh, I am getting giddy just thinking of dressing her up in all the different kinds of clothes Lilynette has.  Yes that is perfect Lilynette's old clothes would be perfect we must pull them out of storage immediately.

 "No Lilynette, she is my daughter Seigi-sama rescued her from another nation and now she is going to be our daughter please treat her kindly her name is Nanashi."  Nanashi does a slight bow to everyone and begins to blush.  Interestingly enough so does Jupiter and Mars.

 "Hello everyone, I am Nanashi, Seigi-sama and Mommy are now my parents so please take care of me."  Her voice is so cute I just want to pick her up and hug her, but she doesn't like it when I do that in front of people.  Just days ago she would not leave my arms and now she will not let me hug her in public.  Oh no I am starting to have sympathy for my own doting father and mother.

 "Ok everyone let's go to the throne room, Releina must be waiting to see everyone."  I am not looking forward to this, hopefully Releina can still have the meeting with Venus after all of this.

 "Yes, Seigi-sama is right, let us all go; your sister has missed you dearly Lilynette.  There is much that needs to be discussed before the weddings next week."  Lilynette and Sol both start blushing as I mention their wedding.  According to Charlottes letter the two of them have been getting closer but they are still just children, the two of them will likely take other lovers when they get older as to actually have children but that is far into the future.  Noticing my train of thought Lilynette tries to change the topic.

 "Oh, sister is getting married too.  Finally, this will do wonders for the nation as a whole, I am sure everyone will love to have a king again and an heir.  So when will their child be born?"  Lilynette is getting a little ahead of herself, thought many would assume that she should be with child already considering it has been years since she came of age.  Though, Yami should count as her first child with Seigi-sama, but she cannot be an heir since she has no body.

 "Releina is not pregnant she wanted to save that for the wedding night so that is not possible until then.  She is following your grandmother's example ever since she became queen she has been determined to do everything 'right' as she said."  They all seem to understand my explanation.  So we head to the throne room.

 Once we enter Lilynette and Nana look worried seeing Shanna at Releina's side I am sure both of them have already figured it out.  Releina explains what happened to everyone, Nana gets picked up by Shanna when she starts crying.  Lilynette ends up crying into Sol's shoulder and after a moment Sol's siblings end up crying hugging the both of them.  I don't think they have gotten over the late Elf Queen Noir's death either.  

Releina gets off her throne and heads to Lilynette, but before she gets there her necklace starts glowing.  No, wait, that was the baby crystal dragon that hatched some time ago not a necklace.
"Oh, it is time already."  Did Releina know this was going to happen why doesn't she say anything?  I forgot that was a real dragon, since she has been sleeping since she first hatched and than all that happened last week.

The glowing dragon crawls down Releina and moves to the center of the room it is overflowing with mana the air around it begins to shimmer like a heat mirage.  It is a glowing white ball now that slowly changes into the form of a little girl looking only about five or six just like Nanashi.  Her skin is immaculate and pale almost transparent, that face still has the chubby cheeks of a baby and she still has plenty of baby fat she actually looks younger than Nanashi now that I can see her better.  The iris of her eyes look like glowing crystals reflecting all the different colors making her eyes shine, her hair reaches down the length of her back, and looks almost metallic like flowing silver strands.  She looks like a beautiful statue, but Nanashi is cuter her cheeks might not be as chubby and baby like but they have a natural rosiness now that really shows off her cute face.  The child dragon then starts to talk and a very loud booming voice that somehow still sounds almost like baby gibberish.

"Hahahahaha, I have arrived, the great dragon god Kutugua!  All the delicious mana in this room has awoken me.  Everyone here, please let me eat you, hehehe."  Releina walks right up to the little girl and smacks her in the head.  She falls to her knees and begins to cry just like a normal child you would not ever think she was a dragon now.

"What are you going on about.  You have been feeding on my mana for days now but you need more, and why are you naked?  I talked to you about this I even picked out a cute little red dress for you.  Shanna, you have it right?  Get her dressed."  Shanna pulls a little red dress from somewhere and rushes to dress her.

"Mommy why did you hit me I am just hungry I need more mana, and everyone's mana here smells wonderful I just had to manifest to get a taste."  She is whining like a normal child too.  With her dressed the other children approach her, after wiping away their tears.

"You called sister mommy what do you mean?"  Lilynette is the first to ask a question the look of shock on her face shows that she did not detect her presence at all, I wonder if her power doesn't work on this one because she is a dragon?

"Mommy hatched me and fed me so she is mommy and the scary one over there made me and is mommy's mate so he is daddy.  Kukukuku, and I am the Great Dragon God Kutugua! Hahahahaha!"  Is she some kind of reincarnation where did hear that old name?

"Hey Hey are your really a dragon, not some lizard-demi right?  Can you change back, do you breathe fire, can you fly, how strong are you?"  Sol seems just as excited as Lilynette, the two of them are still children after all.

"I don't want to change back, that takes too much mana, but I can do this."  She starts to focus and tense up then pop, little crystal horns pop out of her head, crystal wings sprout from her back, and even a little crystal tail.  It looks like her dress was chosen with these in mind as they don't damage it at all.  Then she jumps into the air and spits out a little white flame.

"Hahahahaha, see how great I am and cour in fear!"  Seigi-sama jumps up and grabs her out of the air.

"We told you not to do that when you manifest and it is the first thing you do.  You need to behave like a human when with other people.  I promised to take you outside later, you were supposed to be normal when we introduced you to everyone why can't you listen."  So he knew about her already when did the two of them talk about this?

"Ahh unhand me you brute!  No human can stop a dragon let me go!  Arg, why are you so strong even this little I am far stronger than a human.  Mommy, save me he is going to crush me, this man of yours is he even human?"  The heavy air before is completely gone I wonder if that was her plan?

"Kuu listen to your father we told you to be nice and normal to start with than you could show off your powers to all of them later.  Look at the little ones over there they are scared of you.  Calling yourself a dragon god what has gotten into you."  She is in tears now still struggling to escape Seigi-samas grasp and if a pouting voice she begins.

"B-bb-but, I am a prismatic dragon the storybooks said that I am a dragon god.  Even Yami agreed with me why are you being mean.  Daddy, please let me go I won't go flying around anymore I promise."  Mumei did you know about her?

[Yes, however, Yami said it was supposed to be a surprise so I did not say anything I am sorry if that has troubled you.]  No this is fine but now it looks like both of us have adopted children to look after.  As I am thinking this I feel a tug at my side.

"Mommy, does that mean she is my little sister?"  Nanashi is tugging at my dress.  I am not sure how we wanted to do this but I would guess that would be how this works out?

[Mother it was decided that all of us would be treated equally as siblings but Yami is the first born and I am the second those two are seen as younger sisters to us but Nanashi is older than Kutugua so she is the older sister between the two of them.]

"Yes, Nanashi she is your younger sister you can go and say hello."  Nanashi's eyes brighten and she goes over to them and presents her hand to her.

"I am Nanashi, you big sister pleasure to meet you Kutugua let's get along well together as sisters."  The manners she has are a bit more than I hoped for but how does she remember that and not any of her past?

"Sister please help me get me out of here this brute won't let me be I already said I would not fly around what more does he want."  With a smile Nanashi replies to Kuu.

"Father knows that you are lying Kuu-chan that is why he has not let you go."  Seigi-sama turns to her with a smile.

"How observant Nanashi you are so much better behaved than Kuu here.  Though she is still just a baby so it cannot be helped."  Seigi-sama gently pats Nanashi's head and Kuu's face reddens in anger.

"Shanna could you go with them to the courtyard so this one can get some exercise.  The three of us still have a meeting today before we can play with the children.  Now Nanashi you are the big sister so I want you to watch Kutugua make sure she doesn't scare the other little ones.  You are much stronger than her too so don't be afraid of her fire it is not even hot yet since she is a baby."

"I am still a dragon god humans should fear me.  Wait, she is stronger than me how?  Humans are not supposed to be stronger than dragons.  Wait, did you say I can fly? I can fly! Let's go! Let's go! I want to fly outside!"  Seigi-sama sets her down and Nanashi takes her hand and Shanna leads them all to the courtyard.  

So we have one more meeting today and it may be a long one, we are all going to learn everything the church knows about heroes, demons, and this world.  This meeting will also decide Venus and her attendants fates and possibly this worlds.

A rising star in his place of work is taken to another world to start his life over as a hero but this man has a dark secret. One that he has been hiding from the world for well over ten years now and with this new world and its new customs and view of life how will his secret effect his new life and this new world. The dust soon settled down leaving only a crater below and trace of destruction by the blast just now, inside the crater is the corpse of the badger even Hans only know it is the badger's because it is the only one there.

The body is basically destroyed leaving only two pair of claw and some bloody mesh that was once the body of the badger, but there is something floating inside of the crater.

It is a card to be exact it was a monster card that dropped by the badger after its death.

"Damn, I actually get the card." Exclaimed Hans, he still doesn't believe what he sees. 

He ordered Diablo to land on the ground and approached the floating card, he grabbed it and look at it. The card has the image of the dead badger the border of the card is blue just like the monster's grade when it was still alive.

"This card will be my third monster from now on." Hans bound the monster card by dropping his blood on it.

He summoned all of his monsters out to check out power in his arsenal, the three monsters were summoned and obediently lying on the ground even the badger. From what he had seen the monster that summoned using a monster card still poses feeling just like the living one.

"Hmm...You two still have no name yet so I better give you two a name, giving you order when you guys don't have a name will be difficult." He realized that communication still become a problem if you don't know who the name you want to talk to before when he gives order to the moose he would call it "moose".

"I should have to check it quickly, I should have already done evolve Sol by now if I did it." Hans regretted only checking Diablo's evolution path back then if he had he would have evolved Sol too.

After some time of calming himself, he continued to hunt some monster in the vicinity thankfully no more monster-like Vlad show up during the hunt, from all the battle he had gone through Hans realized that skill is extremely important for a battle.

Knowing that now he continuously grinding the experience level of his monster's skill whenever he fights a monster, the process may be a boring one but he knows that the result will satisfy him.

The lifeless body of Wang Wei was in her grasp dangling in the air. "No matter what you say, I won't be swayed by your words specially the pity that your eyes showed me, for I will do everything to avenge my fallen brethren!" muttered Vritra to herself.

Up until today since the Silver King saved them, not single one could fall asleep. Every time they closed their eyes the repeated massacre hunts them, reminding them not to forget. And one day when they tried meditating by practicing the God's Art the recurring nightmare lessened a bit. And the speed they cultivate was extremely fast. 

The Silver King didn't left and was observing the Void Dragon tribe from the distance and was shocked by how they cultivate continuously without rest. The Silver King sighed helplessly because the support he can provide was limited. And the problem they have is best solved by themselves. Since the Void Dragon tribe settles down without problems, he disappeared silently.

However Vritra who now realize the biggest flaw she had was now paralyzed and was contemplating how to solve it.

"Forget it, I can only find an opportunity in the future" she thought helplessly. Looking around he saw the mess she created and was worried that they will come and find her for it. The vibrant trees were no longer present and the muddy ground transformed into scattered rocks. Not forgetting the river of lava cause by her breath attack. 

By canceling her magic the surrounding trees did not return and the affected area became an open field. Finally the door that was blocked by one of the stones was now visible to her. With a leap she arrived in front of the door.

-Eye of Iris-

An azure colored eye appeared above her head it was transparent. Compare to those eyes in the sky hers was like a disfigured glass created by a beginner. A blurry image of a giant hall appeared in her mind. Rocks littered the ground; broken towers can be seen through a hole in the high ceiling, patch of grass was growing in between the tiled floor.

"What is this, ruins?" thought Vritra, every time she increased her focus her stamina was being depleted in alarming rate, she has no choice but to stop. Because of this she didn't notice the five shadows approaching her from behind.

"How was it?"

The sudden voice that appeared behind her sent shivers down her spine, hurriedly turning around she summoned her chaos weapon and ready to confront the strangers in front of her.

"Woah woah easy dragon girl, you're so tense, you need to relax a bit!" said a girl whose towering height loomed above others. Approaching two meters tall her bright and cheery attitude was out of place in this gloomy environment. Wearing an orange battle robe, Vritra felt she was going on an expedition or something. 

She also saw four more girls however her sight was focused only to a boy who was smiling at her. Wearing a silver-loose pants, his bare chest even though was not comparable to her Uncle, was toned well shaping his muscles perfectly.

"Your majesty, what are you doing here?" blurted Vritra shockingly "Wait did they saw my poor performance just now?" understanding this Vritra hurriedly kneel with one knee "Forgive me for showing you my poor set of skills your majesty!"

"Now now, there's no need to feel ashamed about it, you just started cultivating and by the way you shouldn't have fought anyone at your level. However the door opening is out of my…expectations" The change in the Silver King's voice felt by the girls, it seems there's someone making trouble to his majesty.

Noticing the tense change in the air the Silver King hurriedly put back his bright smile and reassures the girls again. "Don't worry the Guardians are already looking into it and they should be able to find the cause in a days' time. Now what I want from you Vritra is to assign you a mission! You're already approaching the 2nd realm of God's Art so you need to cultivate your Guardian beast by searching for worlds that are still full of lifeforce and the target world this time is behind those doors" pointing at the wide opened door at Vritra's back he continued. "However you will not be going alone, these five girls are going with you, ladies introduce yourselves" 

"Me first me first!" said the girl who approached Vritra sneakily when she was unaware of her surroundings. 

"I'm Sol and as you can see I'm from the Monkey King race nice to meet you!" said Sol, from what Vritra sees she has an easy going personality. Monkey King Race, people there has airs that's screaming majestic! They're tall height makes them more dignified. The different hairs that covered half of their bodies were smooth and soft to the touch. Brimming with energy the Monkey King race is one of the experts who prioritize combat.

Wearing a tight fitting robe for easy movements, it prevents unnecessary actions and makes her respond fast. Her slender arms and legs were protected by leather armor for deflecting blunt weapons. Her strong tail was tied to her waist. She's not wearing any type of shoes; the strength produce by her feet was equivalent to her hands. 

"N-Nice to meet you too, I'm Vritra from the Void Dragon tribe of the Primordial Dragon race" nodding her head, even though no one can see what expression she's making right now, but the sound coming from her shows that she was slightly respectful, like a new resident meeting their neighbors for the first time.

"Don't mind her on-going attitude, her people are always like that very lively but you can trust her when it comes to combat, I'm Sylvia by the way" said a smiling girl who has the same height as her but Vritra felt that this woman was shrewd and full of schemes. 

She wore a black dress that has lotus flowers design glinting with purple light. Her beautiful gray hair reaches the back of her shoulders adding a black bowler hat, emitting a noble lady's air. Her dress only reaches above knee level, showing off her slender legs. 

Nodding her head, Vritra felt that this person is very difficult to deal with. Seeing the two pairs of white feathery wings on her back, shows that she's from the Celestial race; on what tribe, Vritra doesn't know. 

"U-umm, hello I'm Lilith from the Blood fairy tribe of the Celestial race" greeted the smallest from the group, a girl of the age of twelve or thirteen years. She wore a dress the same as Silvia but hers was bright green in color, her shoulder length green curly hair only increases her innocent appearance. It makes you want to protect her. 

However when Vritra heard the Blood fairy tribe, she can't help but feel chills all over her body. The Blood fairy tribe is his majesty's royal guard! Experts in the field of gathering information and assassination these people are always hiding in the dark following his majesty's orders. 

"D-don't misunderstand, i-im different from my family! I hate killing people, that's why…" tears were coming out of her eyes and looked intently at Vritra. Vritra's aura spiked a little when she heard where she comes from. 

Seeing Lilith's teary eye, Vritra don't know how to respond! She could only stand there unmoving waiting for something to happen then turned mute. "Does this girl wants me to apologize or something?" thought Vritra.

"Her physical combat whether using weapons or not, is number one in the younger generation, right?" said Sol who was poking the teary-eyed Lilith. 

Lilith hurried hugged another female while avoiding Sol's fingers from poking her bulging cheeks. 

"There there, you know your family already agreed to you that you can whatever you want right? Even his majesty approves of it" said a slightly taller girl than Vritra. Wearing armor from shoulder to toe, she was like a knight serving a royal family. With her crimson cloak folded on one side, a phoenix with a majestic appearance can clearly be seen sewn on it. 

"Big sister Scarlet, Big sister Sol is bullying me!" hugging the armored girl, Lilith felt pain instead of comfort instead. "Ouch!"

"As you've heard I'm Scarlet, Vermillion Scarlet of Vermillion Phoenix tribe of the Primordial Phoenix race, and according to his majesty I'll be the one leading this expedition to the other world" said Scarlet with smile while patting Lilith on the back, evident on Lilith's face that she was in pain.

Now that she knows the rest of the girls, the last one was struggling to approach her and was sweating bullets. Looking at the last female of the group, Vritra suddenly released her bloodlust. 

"What is a human doing here?" said Vritra in a cold tone. Slowly approaching the human female but was stopped by Scarlet instead.

"Why?" said Vritra confusingly.

"You need to hear her first" said Scarlet while standing in between Vritra and the human girl.

"I-I'm Zhang Min and you're right I'm human, actually you already saw me, as the one who was holding the sealing formation array that stopped you from moving" said Zhang Min with a pale face. Her heart was pounding loudly from nervousness, if not for the mission she was given to the Silver King she would already be dead long ago.

"I-I'm here as your g-guide and to provide information related to my world, and in turn I was allowed to learn God's Art from his majesty" said Zhang Min.

"There you have it, we need her to babysit us in the other side to make our life there easier" said Sol who was not worried a bit.

"For now" said Vritra coldy. "And? When do we leave leader?"

"Right now, we don't have time to waste" said Scarlet eagerly who was beaming with happiness. Arriving at the door, Scarlet was in the lead followed by Zhang Min, Vritra, Lilith, Sol and lastly Sylvia, the team that would change the fate on the other side charged ahead.

Zhang Min who was strong-willed, called a genius in the sect was now sandwiched with beauties that can start war on the other side. "How did this happen?" 

Sometime ago when Zhang Min was separated, she felt pain seeing her teammates didn't notice her disappearance. A spike glinted with silver menacingly stabbed towards her direction! "No! I can't make it!" The thought of no one will notice her, the pain that of being left behind delayed her thought process for a second. But in a dangerous situation those seconds can decide life and death. Closing her eyes she silently waited for the death's embrace. 

She felt a gentle breeze and the pain of being stabbed through didn't arrive. Opening her fluttering eyes, she was greeted by a silver-haired youth with perfectly carved handsome face was smiling at her. She was taken by his silvery eyes that can see through any veil and felt herself naked in front of this youth.

Confused, she glance at her surroundings and with difficulty she asked, "Who are you?" 

"I'm called the Silver King, and I can give you something you truly want…"
