(A.N.: Ran and Shaw are the names of the two ancient dragons from Avatar the Last Airbender. So instead of killing those dragons, I decided to make them Mesa's pets and these names were perfect for them in my opinion) 

And so Mesa walked into the cave towards the Azure Dragon God Trial. Immediately after he left the Flood Dragons to guard the entrance, Jasmine started bombarding him with questions. 

"What was that about them calling you a Dragon God?! And what was that about you not being human but a dragon?!" Said Jasmine. Just as he wanted to answer her questions, Ophis suddenly answered for him. 

"It is because they are dragons and dragons are very sensitive to the aura of other dragons. The moment Mesa summoned the Booster Gear, those dragons sensed Ddraig's aura and the power of Ddraig's aura surpasses that of the Azure Dragon by a lot. So the moment they sensed his aura on Mesa, they immediately thought that Mesa was a Dragon God himself even if his strength is not as high as Ddraig's was before he was sealed inside the Booster Gear." Said Ophis causing Jasmine to wide eyed in shock. 

"And about my partner here not being human anymore, that is because the moment our souls fused and he gained access to the Boosted Gear was the moment when he stopped being human and became a dragon." Said Ddraig. 

"So that's why I always had that feeling that Mesa wasn't the same anymore ever since the Phoenix Trial. It all makes sense now. But Mesa, if you're already a dragon and Ddraig's power surpasses that of the Azure Dragon, why even bother getting his legacy?" Asked Jasmine. 

Hearing Jasmine's question, Mesa couldn't help but smile. The answer that he gave her was very short but required no further explanation.

Hi everyone who reads this fanfic. Hope you will enjoy this fanfic of mine. I was inspired by the fanfic Cool Anime System (Against the Gods) on this site and this fanfic was recently deleted and thus motivated me to write my own fanfic. F.Y.I. English is not my first language so be prepared for a grammatical mistake or two. But do not think that this fanfic will be filled with mistakes. I speak, read and write English as good as my first language. Because of my busy schedule I can not guarantee a consistent publishing rate, but I can promise that I will inform you first if I plan to drop the story

Both of the dragons watched their babies as the two cute little things hugged each other, but neither of them noticed the black scales on one of the two as if those scales were ethereal - not physical, even though they were scarcely populating its arms and legs.

The female dragon in human form had a flowing black hair as if a waterfall, falling freely over her shoulders and following the contours of her body. Her crimson eyes as if two blood moons even during the day as she cradled the baby with ethereal scales, although she couldn't see them.

The interesting thing is there were nine dragon-shaped chains coiled around the baby's heart, but why would they be willing to check out the baby's inner body? Therefore, nobody knew about their existence.
 
The female baby was in the man's arms, gently leaning along his arm while his breathing was suppressed as if afraid that if he moved a bit, she'd wake up and start crying. It pained the father's heart to see his baby daughter cry even if it was a natural thing to happen, but the same applied to the mother too.

But all the joyful things come to an end, eventually.

As such, the male spoke: "It's hard to part with them..."

"... Yeah.", the sorrowful voice distantly responded, as if the girl didn't want to think about what was bound to happen.

But even then, the kind soul of hers would not allow herself to ignore her husband because she deeply loved him. 

"It really is...". Even if it wasn't much of an answer, still it was enough for him.

"But we have to...", the male said.

"Yeah..."

"What will their names be? We must let no one know of their existence..."

"I thought about that too, but I have no idea...
Perhaps we should just leave it to fate?", the female said

"Mm! Perhaps we should..."

"Hic! I really can't bear to part with them...". The girl just couldn't bear the pain of leaving her children alone in this cruel world, but she knew that she had to let go precisely because the world was cruel. 

They were lucky that the bunch who came after them were greedy and shared no information with anyone else about the babies, otherwise the entire world would hunt down the descendants of Heavenly Dragons.

When desperation hits hard, all morals and regulations are but fleeting clouds. Even sages and old monsters would hunt down the children of the strongest dragon race under the heavens, not to mention those arrogant young masters and hidden sects.

The female leaned on the male's shoulder - or rather; she was devoid of strength and had to do so in order to support herself but even then, her gaze was glued to the two infants lying in each other's embrace, protected by the simple hut made of leaves and branches, like animals warding off the cold. 
She gently raised her hand from which crimson light shot off and landed on their foreheads in a dragon-shaped emblem, but it faded away shortly after.

It was the only thing she could leave behind to them and the only way to make up for their absence. 

The male came before the infants and fell on his knees with tears in his eyes. Even the existence as strong as him could not hold back his tears when he saw the defenseless babies they were leaving behind in this god-forsaken land.

"Children, your father is weak and could not protect you, I beg for your forgiveness at least temporarily. When I take rulership under my grasp I will come back for both of you. May this heirloom protect you in our place...". As he took one last glance at his children and left the black claw behind, tears of blood came out of his eyes.

Tears of blood would only appear under extreme despair and grief (*cough* sharingan *cough*), yet at this moment they were seeping out like water from an old tap, drop by drop falling on the ground.

Everywhere the drop of blood fell, the plants in the surroundings would wilt and bloom again as if under the continuous cycle of life and death caused by the tears of blood.

For heavenly beings, blood was something extremely rare because in their bodies Spiritual Energy replaced the blood as it was what allowed them to live almost eternally. As long as they had Spiritual Energy in their veins, their body could recover at a much faster rate than mere humans - some would even be reborn from ash like phoenixes.

The girl gripped her husband's hand tightly as both of them turned around with no intention of looking back ever again because they knew if they turned around once more there was no way they'd be able to leave - the heart was a fragile thing.

Yet they couldn't remain behind because their existence in this place stuck out like a sore thumb - they'd be found eventually.

But little did they know that on the male baby's face with ethereal dragon scales, a warm smile bloomed as he stared at the departing back of his parents.

"Father, mother, don't worry! I, Asura Ryuu, will eventually come for you even before you can come pick us up!"

"So that are our parents in this life, eh?", the familiar sweet voice dissipated Asura Ryuu's thoughts as it tickled his mind. It was the voice of his sister in this life, but she was actually Ryuu's lover - the girl from The Realm of Gods, the last living descendant of the Heavenly Devil tribe.

Yet in this life, she was bound not to be the devil but an angel, as the rainbow-colored thunderbolt brought her to this world while the pitch-black thunderbolt carried Asura Ryuu.

It would be logical if they swapped places - her being the black thunderbolt while he should be the rainbow-colored one, but since Asura Ryuu had her Spiritual Blood, it was natural that he inherited her abilities and the traits of her race, as well as her bloodline and since she had a spiritual bond with him, she naturally shared his characteristics as well - the starry tree which now had a multitude of colorful galaxies and rivers made of stars.

How could the babies converse though? Naturally they were not conversing physically but were talking with their Divine Sense - the power of their minds, something similar to telepathy.

But even if they didn't have that power they'd be able to understand each other perfectly because they shared the same origin now - the Heavenly Devil tribe's Spiritual Blood which contained many mysteries as well as the brother-sister relationship in this life.

I'm at the edge of the floating island, looking down below. Between the white clouds that covers the sky below me, I can see mountains everywhere. It seems the sea is no longer there and is replaced by these mountain ranges. It seems all the volcano have done erupting and now new lands appear. We're probably so very far inland that I can't even find the sea anymore. 

Seriously, how long did I sleep for all of this to happen? Millions of years? I wonder if I can make any more wish after all that sleeping. I mean that's probably how me and Alta replenish our wishes. I want to wish for for of the seeds from the trees up here to be planted down there. I know the Gardeners could probably do it but, I really don't know how they'll achieve it. They can't fly and most likely they'll crumble if they fall from all the way up here. 

Hmm. What if I give them wing? Nope. Bad idea, they're made out of rocks and dirt, so they're gonna be heavy to fly. So, I guess I have to wish for another being to do this. But, what creature is good for such a task? Of course, it has to be creature that can fly and land. Also, strong enough to handle the weather. 

A bird? Or better yet a huge bird. But, I see some possible problems coming with it being only a huge bird. What happens if the bird couldn't handle the weather even if it's big. I remember some news in the past that airplanes can crash down just because of the weather. So, I have to think of something else.

How about a creature that can fly and also swim as well? A duck? Nope, the huge waves of the sea is probably just gonna drown that duck that can only float on the water anyway. So, I guess it has to be a creature that can even breath in water. 

After a while of brainstorming, an idea pops up. Thus, I immediately close my eyes to wish. I still don't if I can wish anymore but, if I can, I don't wanna waste my wishes on testing whether I have it. So, I'm jumping headfirst.

On my hands are a pair of sleeping winged lizards. They have iridescent color scales, sharp claws at the end of their limbs and unexpectedly, the size of kittens.

Yes, they are dragons. To be more accurate, baby dragons. For some reason, my image of huge hulking flying lizards, turns into this. I guess I haven't recover enough yet of my wishing powers. Well, at least I know I can still make wishes.

I made the pair as a male and a female but, they look almost identical to each other. The only difference is that the male has longer horns than the female. Of course, the difference are according to my wish. 

Looking down at them on my palm, I wonder if they can even fly? Well, if they can't for now, I hope they can when they grow bigger in the future. That means, I have to nurture them until then. I wonder how long it would take for them fully grow up?

I turn back from the island's edge and walks back to the main huge tree. Upon arriving there, at the entrance of the root path, I see Alta standing and looking up everywhere in awe. Immediately, I run over to her.

"Alta!" she finally sees me and runs over to me as well.

"Alto!" Meeting in the middle, we hug each other tightly.

"How are you feeling?"

"Alta feels great! How about Alto?"

"Never better," I'm so glad she finally wakes. It actually took her almost a week to wake up after I did.

GRROOWL

Suddenly, I remember about the little dragons. They're currently struggling to get out of our hugs. We immediately separate from each other and Alta immediately just smiles gleefully while picking both of them in her arms. 

"This little ones are soooooo cute!" rubbing both of them on her cheeks.

"What's their name, Alto?"

"They're called dragons, Alta,"

"They're both called dragons? How are we suppose to differentiate them?" She's right but, me naming again? I'll just try my best then.

"Umm, this one with the longer horns will be call Rex and the other will be call Regina,"

"Such wonderful names, Alto," ah jeez, you making me blush, Alta. Then, slowly she changes her face from happy to a look of confusion. Hmm, why you're making that face?

"Alto made a wish without me," suddenly, Alta frowns a bit while looking at me. Oh, she's mad about that. Wait, didn't she do the same thing when she suddenly faints during the volcano eruptions.

" You too, Alta. You fell asleep before this because you made a wish by yourself didn't you?" The Gardeners said that Alta gave them the ability of their speech.

"What does Alto mean? Alta didn't make any wish at that time," wait, she didn't?

"Then, why did you suddenly fainted at that time? The Gardeners said that you gave them the ability to speak,"

"Alta doesn't know. Also, Alta only gave the Gardeners name. Not wishing for the Gardeners could speak,"

"So, you didn't give them the ability? Also, wait. Naming the Gardeners? "

"Yes, Alto didn't proper names to each of them. So, Alta gave them their names," is it possible that just giving names could exhaust our wishing power? Also, the Gardeners gain the ability of speech after being named?

"Ga-ardaners,"

Suddenly, we hear someone try to say the word gardeners but, it sounded wrong. Looking at the little dragons on Alta's hand, it seems that the female dragon, Regina just spoke.........Theory confirmed!

A young man thrown into a featureless wasteland discovers that he is no longer a human, but now a powerful being wielding the power of creation.

Even though he felt like Xiao Budian knew his limits and would not suggest anything too outrageous, Shi Zongyue left wiggle space in his words for himself. 
"Anything that is suitable for you, it’s yours." The preamble was that the item he requested had to be suitable for Xiao Budian. The word "suitable" gave him a chance to dispute in case the request was too much to handle.
Xiao Budian’s requests were not too flagrant and were definitely things that he could use. Nobody would argue with that fact, but Shi Zongyue and the others were left pinned to the floor and speechless. 
"I want a pair of Golden Deers, a male and a female."
"I also want Black Spirit Serpents, also a male and a female."
"I also want ten stalks of Butterfly Dragon Grass. If ten stalks is too much, eight stalks will do." 
"I heard Xiling City is famous for its many exotic fruits such as the Holy Fruit of the Sky River Clock, the Purple Jade Melon, the Purefire Pear and the Original Golden Fruit. I would like some of them – one tree of each will do."
As soon as Xiao Budian’s mouth opened a string of names flowed out like a river. Shi Zongyue, the Vivant Joy Holy Man and Zhuge Guang were left utterly speechless.
On the other side, Xiao Budian seemed oblivious and was enjoying the fantasy. He swallowed and continued,
"I also want the Songzhen Spirit Snake, the Nine-hearted Sparrow, the Pearl Fish, the Chicken of Eight Treasures and the Purple Lightning Mink. I want five of each.
"As for plants, I would like the Green Light Vine, the Emerald Jade Celery and the Dragon Scale Bamboo Shoots."
Shi Zongyue and company were done. Their faces were as black as black could get and the three great immortal soul cultivators were crying out inside. "I take back my compliments for this little bastard. This is definitely one wild child!"
Even Lin Feng seemed to not be able to watch anymore and interrupted Xiao Budian with a dry cough. 
Shi Zongyue was just about to heave a long sigh of relief that the leader of the Celestial Sect of Wonders was finally stepping in to disciple his disciple.
However, Xiao Budian’s voice paused for a moment before continuing, "Oh yes, I forgot something else. I also want some minerals like the Gengjin Flowing Water Rock, the Heavenly Cinnabar. Each item should weight at least three taels."
"Besides that, I also want a Remains of the Thunder Dragon,the Talons of the Flying Lian King and the Blood of the Panlong..."
Xiao Budian was going to continue on but Shi Zongyue could take it no longer and interrupted him. "Enough!"
Prince Anliang of the Great Qin Empire glared at the little boy for a long while. Subsequently, he flicked his sleeve and walked away without a word.
He swore that if this continued, even if he had to fight Lin Feng for real, he would murder this evil Satan’s spawn.
Even so, Xiao Budian’s list was long but almost none of the items on it were extremely exotic or limited. Only the Remains of the Thunder Dragon and the Blood of the Panlong were relatively hard to obtain. The other items could be easily obtained by the Great Qin Empire. 
What Shi Zongyue could not accept was that Xiao Budian’s mouth was so big and treated the three of them with condescension, as if they were his servants. How infuriating!
Before he left, Shi Zongyue paused momentarily and muttered, "Give him everything on that list!"
And then he was gone. 
Lin Feng and the Vivant Joy Holy Man and the Gambling Holy Man glared at Xiao Budian until Lin Feng broke the silence with a dry laugh. "Child… Still a child."
The Vivant Joy Holy Man and Zhuge Guang laughed out loud at the same time and replied, "Yes, he’s still a child. It’s normal, it’s normal…"
What nonsense!
An evil child like this should not exist to wrack havoc upon the world!
The two immortal soul elders were scolding Xiao Budian on the inside, but they did not know that Lin Feng was doing the same and wanted to spank Xiao Budian as well. 
"You little shit. You really know how to be opportunistic." The corner of Lin Feng’s mouth spasmed incessantly. He pretty much watched Xiao Budian grow up and Xiao Budian had been following him from the moment he was born. Master and disciple almost had a telepathic connection and they could understand each other without any verbal interaction.
As for Xiao Budian’s development after the nine-holed aurous core, master and disciple naturally talked about it and Xiao Budian knew that to progress to Advanced aurous core stage and complete the aurous core, he had to 想要弥补先天九窍 and required a great amount of time and energy. 
Back then, Lin Feng casually remarked that magic items like the Black Butterfly Dragon Grass,the Gengjin Flowing Water Rock,the Heavenly Cinnabar,the Blood of the Panlong,the Purple Golden Gust and Thunder Crystals could help him complete the aurous core and break the bottleneck. Xiao Budian had always remembered that. 
Even though Lin Feng also said that he would prepare the items for Xiao Budian, such a prime opportunity for extortion arose and he could not just let it go. 
"It would save it a lot of trouble for master if somebody helped to obtain those items." Xiao Budian thought to himself joyfully.
The Remains of the Thunder Dragon and the Talons of the Flying Lian King were items that could help Xiao Budian train and meditate and he took the chance to request for them.
What rendered Lin Feng speechless was the fact that Xiao Budian absolutely maximised his opportunity and tried to obtain even more benefits for himself. He even temporarily left aside the actual important items and requested a bunch of unnecessary and random things from the Great Qin Empire. 
The Golden Deer, the Black Spirit Serpent, the Songzhen Spirit Snake, the Chicken of Eight Treasures, the Nine-hearted Spirit Sparrow, the Pearl Fish and the Purple Lightning Mink were relatively rare creatures. Xiao Budian wanted these creatures not to open a zoo but for breeding – which was the reason why he requested for a male and a female of each. His idea was to solve his cravings for the long term. 
The other items like the Holy Fruit of the Sky River Clock, the Original Golden Fruit, the Purple Jade Melon, the Purefire Pear and whatnot were also to satisfy his eating cravings.
The Green Light Vine, the Emerald Green Celery and the Dragon Scale Bamboo Shoots were all for eating as well. 
This little boy was getting better and better at eating. He even had the fruits ready for after the meal, let alone the main courses themselves. 
Lin Feng watched him speechlessly when he named the creatures and other food like when he was ordering from a restaurant. It was then that he coughed dryly to remind Xiao Budian to ask for what was actually important before anything else.
In the end, Shi Zongyue left in a fit of rage and left the Vivant Joy Holy Man and the Gambling Holy Man standing there with miserable looks on their faces to remember the names that Xiao Budian called out. 
Lin Feng did not want them to be overly miserable, however. Even though he could not hand over Zhang Xin and the grey-robed elder, he still handed over two of the aurous core stage cultivators to the two Holy Men for interrogation by the Great Qin Empire. 
Lin Feng was noncommittal about the conclusion to the incident and the Vivant Joy Holy Man and the Gambling Holy Man could not do anything about it either. 
Even though they knew that the two aurous core stage cultivators would not yield any useful intelligence, the two of them had no choice but take them away for questioning and hope for a surprising discovery.  
As everyone left the magic formation set by Shi Zongyuue, they immediately saw Shi Zongyue hovering in the air and chatting with the Leader of the Heaven Lake Sect, Cao Wei, in the distance.
AS they left the magic formation, Shi Zongyue’s emotions were back to normal and was conversing with Cao Wei with his look of usual composure. Cao Wei was no different. 
Below them were a handful of cultivators from the Heaven Lake Sect. Dao Yuting took point along with Song Qingyuan and Mu Jihai.
Dao Yuting was staring into the distance – it did not seem like her eyes were focused on anything – as if she were daydreaming.
On the other hand, Mu Jihai seemed as if there were multiple things on his mind and his eyes were moving around except towards Dao Yuting and Song Qingyuan.
Out of the three of them, Song Qingyuan looked the most natural and even wore a warm smile on his face. However, there seemed to be something inexplicable about the expression in his eyes.
Lin Feng witnessed the scene and immediately realized that Shi Zongyue was negotiating with Cao Wei.
When Xiao Budian was under attack, Song Qingyuan and company were just at the side. Even though they did not understand the whole story, or even the people who were involved, they were still at the scene.
Shi Zongyue had no choice but to reach and agreement with Cao Wei and ensure that the incident was controlled within his own grasp and avoid the occurrence of unforeseen circumstances.
Song Qingyuan and the others were, in the end, just passers-by and had no clue about what happened. This was the reason why they were still reasonably carefree and autonomous in front of Cao Wei and Shi Zongyue.
Cao Wei had a plain look on his face and did not inquire too much about the event. It seemed like he was apathetic.
It was only when Lin Feng and Xiao Budian exited the magic formation did he glance over momentarily and made Lin Feng slightly wary. 
This was because Lin Feng realized that Cao Wei’s gaze remained on Xiao Budian longer than it did on him. 
Lin Feng simply smiled in response and did not point anything out.
Once both parties reached an agreement, the situation calmed down. The consensus for the public announcement was there was a small misunderstanding which led to a minor conflict, and now the conflict had been resolved. It did not affect the Spiritual Conference of Huanghai and the latter could continue. 
The subsequent deals to be made at the Spiritual Conference were not only unaffected, they were hotter now that more people entered the Hidden Dragon Teapot.
The trading platform was nearing its end and a great many cultivators had looks of glee and joyfulness, as if they were quite satisfied with their gains today.
Under these circumstances, everybody was looking forward even more to the cultivator competition the following day.
Time flew inside the Hidden Dragon Teapot. In the blink of an eye, it was the second day already and the battle between aurous core stage cultivators was about to be reopened.
Everyone exited the Hidden Dragon Teapot and gathered around the Vivant Joy Holy Man. They watched the bronze bottle on the floor and waited for the aurous core stage cultivators to draw lots and pick their opponents.
The Vivant Joy Holy Man had the typical happy-go-lucky expression. Other people could not tell but Lin Feng noticed a hint of distress somewhere deep in his eyes.
"Master, where did the people you captured yesterday come from?" Xiao Budian arrived next to Lin Feng and asked aloud.
Lin Feng turned to look at him and Xiao Budian met his gaze.
Lin Feng flashed a warm smile and shook his head at Xiao Budian. Xiao Budian remained silent but Lin Feng could feel a hint of relief coming from his disciple.
Zhu Yi whispered to Lin Feng, "Master, what are we going to do about this?"
Lin Feng smiled again but his eyes turned cold. "Do not worry. I know how to handle troublemakers and I will make them pay for it."
Zhu Yi nodded and seemed to understand Lin Feng. He turned and saw a yellow silhouette drift downwards in front of him. It was the Royal Princess of the Great Qin Empire, Shi Xingyun. 


Lin Feng travelled through worlds and even obtained an overpowered system, but he still faces a pressure as huge as a mountain.

“Your name is Zhu Yi? The son of a marquis but you’re being suppressed by your father? Your mother was a saint but she was assassinated? Come come come, follow your master and we’ll let your dad know the meaning how problems can be solved with your fists...no, with reasoning!"

  When they are out of Grandma Mari's sight, Miku lets go of her wrist and hands her the money. "Here, do something." Mai breathes in deeply, annoyed by his unsociable personality, then takes the cash. Like every festival, the stalls have the same food and games with the only difference being the names. dragon shooting range, dragon shaped taiyaki, dragon head smashing... "Let's just eat some dragon-fruit ice cream..."

  The two sit down and observe the crowd. They're both silent until.. "Hey. Why did you ignore me earlier?" Mai couldn't help but feel miffed at how Miku just blatantly walked away from her. But leaving her question unanswered he just sits there. A vein pops from her forehead, but she knows that even if she were to pester him, he would just ignore her.
  About a minute passes. "How about we just find your friend, you know the black haired one? You can hang out with her. Just tell your grandma you hung out with me."
  Mai winces, but still responds. "You mean Ayame? You've been in the same class for 3 years and still don't know the names of your classmates?" Miku just shrugs. He finishes his ice cream and walks ahead. Mai follows with hers being long gone. "She's at home. She said she wanted to prepare for tomorrow, but I know she just wanted to take care of her little brother since no one else was home. He's usually too weak for these types of events. What about your frien-" She stops herself realizing the awkward question she was going to ask. Though Miku is one of the strongest, most good-looking and popular boys in their class, he's a total loner. 
  Without trying to make anymore useless small-talk the two just walk silently through the buzzing crowd. People start to migrate North toward a large stage on the beach where a annual show takes place and naturally, the two follow the crowd. They secure a spot in the middle when the show begins.

[8:30 PM]
 
  A man dressed in a long black robe steps out of the curtain, the buzzing stops and lights shine onto the stage. 
  [Long ago, after the Eight Beast Gods left our world to returned to the Heavens, there were these colossal, powerful beings called, Dragons.] Almost a hundred dancers rush out of the curtain holding wooden poles that carry the bodies of eight colorful man-made dragons.  
   [At first they lived in harmony with humans as revered beings, protected and worshiped as living gods. The world was completely peaceful, until... the Dragons attacked!] The dragons start to spew out the eight elements from their mouths; a few whimpers from young children could be heard
  [They claimed that humans were not worthy of living under the same sky as them, thus the deaths hundreds of thousands of innocent people and the rampaging of villages and cities alike. Using their Blessings for destruction, the Dragons became the most evil things to roam our world.] Loud drums begin to beat, synchronizing the steps of of the dancers.
  [All kingdoms came together in hopes of conquering these beasts, but even when killed, the demonic monsters would resurrect somehow. Being slaughtered senselessly, our ancestors lived in great fear. The human race was on the verge of extinction.....] All sounds and movements stop on stage.
  [..then, when everything was about to be lost, eight legendary warriors came forward. Each possessed a Blessing from one of the Gods. One had the Blessing of fire from the God of Tora; one had the Blessing of ice from the Goddess Okami; one with the Blessing of wood from the Goddess of Shika; one with the Blessing of earth from the God Kame; one with the Blessing of wind from the Goddess Tori; one with the Blessing of thunder from the God of Kuma; one with the Blessing of darkness from the Goddess Usagi; and lastly, one with the Blessing of water from the God of Koi. It was as if the stars were aligning. These were the first Chibushi.] 
  Chibushi Dancers of the 8 different elements jump out from behind the crowd, twirling, tumbling and letting out a spectacle of their powers. A kid no more than 4 years old yells out, "Daddy! I like the Water one!" The crowd chuckles.
  The black-dressed man clears his throat and continues. [These Legendary Chibushi knew that there was no way to kill these monsters, but they knew that there was away to win against them.] The 8 dragons trap the warriors to the edge of the stage, some of the young kids begin to cry. [The powerful beings may not be able to die, but it was possible for them to be sealed away.] The sniffling of the kids starts to quiet. [With the power and intelligence of the Legendary Chibushi, the most powerful seal ever made was created.] The eight Chibushi surround the raging Dragons.
  [One by one, the Eight sealed the Dragons into the body of Vessel, imprisoning them and their power.] One by one, the Dragons disappear the bodies of eight handcuffed actors appear in their place. [It was on this day that our Eight ancestors saved our world from the destruction of Dragons! It was today that the birth of the 8 Nations came to be. In honor of our ancestors whose descendants continue to reign today, we celebrate. In honor of our Nation's birthday, we celebrate! In honor of the defeat of the Dragons, we celebrate!]

  The first firework sounds and everyone looks up to the sky over the ocean. Bursts of energy fly to the moon and fall back down to the Earth; children and adults gaze in awe of the fantastical sight. But when the embers in the sky started to fade from the sky, a different burning smell wafted with the ocean breeze. The audience's heads turn and see the faint sight of dark smoke rising to the sky above the eastern forest. 

[9:00 PM]
  Mai's heart sinks. Circulating Chi to her feet, she leaps over hundreds of people, rushing toward the direction of the smoke. Feeling oddly concerned, Miku follows her. The two rush up the hill and reach a small paved trail leading to an arched staircase. A patrolling officer block them from going any further. "I'm sorry, but you cannot come any further please go back."
  Though she is in an obvious panic, Mai states firmly, "This is the Miyamoto shrine, I am the best friend of the household's daughter. She and her little brother were home alone tonight! I have to see them! Please let me through!"
  The man shakes his head. "I'm sorry, but I cannot let you pass. The fire is being extinguished and we have top-tier fire and water Chibushi saving your friends."
  Mai doesn't give up. Giving the non-Blessed patrol officer a hard time, she tries rush past him with the circulated chi technique, but is held back by Principal Miyamoto. "Mai, stay here. Don't cause trouble for people doing their job." He hands her to Miku who has been silent the hold time. The Principal turns to the patrol officer. "I am a resident of the household as well as the uncle of the two kids in the fire."
  The officer nods and lets him through. The Principal then vanishes like a quick lighting bolt up the stairs.

The orange-red glow from the top of the staircase fades and paramedics carry down two small figures from the fire. Mai bursts into tears. "Ayame! Youta!" The Principal rushes down with them; his usually long slicked back hair has turned messy as he assisted as much as he could in saving the two. "They are going to be okay. They found in the middle of Youta's water-barrier. However right now they're heading to the CODE district for urgent care." Ayame follows the Principal who is much faster. Miku lags behind a bit unsure what he should do. He doesn't have any connection to Ayame other than her being his classmate, but Mai was entrusted in his care by Grandma Mari, therefore he can't just leave her alone. Noticing Miku still behind her, Mai stops right at the 6th district tunnel. "Miku, thank you for hanging out with me today. I'll see you in class tomorrow. Also, can you please tell grandma what happened? I'm sorry.. and thank you."

[9:15 AM, 1 Nov. *676; Primary Training School, 5th year Chibushi Classroom]

  School has long been in session, but the exam has yet to begin. Naoki-sensei walks in with a solemn face informing us that "...the mock exam will be postponed for a few hours. Yesterday night, a fire broke out at the Miyamoto residence. Unfortunately Ayame-chan and her brother, who are also Principal Miyamoto's niece and nephew, were caught in the fire and have sustained injuries. Ayame-chan will not be able to join us today and Principal Miyamoto will be late, but he will be here as soon as possible." Naoki-sensei walks out the room and black-haired kid worriedly rushes out the door. The classroom is fills with chatter. 

       Female Classmate A: Poor, Ayame-chan, I hope she's okay....
       Male Classmate A: That's probably why Mai isn't here right now. She must have it rough right now.
       Female Classmate A: I know.. but why did Junko run out? Is he close with Ayame-chan?
       Female Classmate B: For the love of.. How clueless can you be? The entire class knows that Junko has had a major crush on Ayame since our 1st year. Jeez, this is why you don't notice... [looks at Male Classmate A] Nevermind.
       Male Classmate A: [blushes and turns away]
       Random Nobody 1: [A voice from the opposite side of the room purposefully speaks loudly.] Who cares about that?! My question is why isn't Ryoko here? [The room shifts its gaze to Taitsuke's empty seat in the back corner.]
       Random Nobody2: Maybe he was the one that started the fire.
       Random Nobody 3: Yeah! I mean it does make sense with him being a Vessel and it being the Dragon Festival. [a heavy feeling makes its way into the classroom]
       Random Nobody 2: I knew that guy was up to no good. He's been way too quiet. It's creepy. [The conspiracy theory spreads.]

Long ago, Dragons roamed the earth. Seen as living Gods, they were worshiped and adored by humans until one day when they had a change of heart. Claiming that humans were unfit to live under the same sky as them, the Dragons slaughtered and massacred cities and villages alike until humanity was on the brink of extinction. Unable to accept their fate, eight warriors rose up from the declining masses and led humanity through its darkest hour; this was the birth of the first Chibushi (Chi-warrior). Given Blessings from the Eight Beast Gods, the legendary warriors were finally able to defeat the monsters, sealing them away in beings called Dragon Vessels.

Thousands of years have passed and new problems arise in the world, however the fear of the Dragons remain. As a Vessel, 10 year old Taitsuke Ryoko must deal with fear and hatred toward him everyday. But, rather than giving into their looks of disdain, he chooses to prove that he is just as human as everyone else. By becoming a Chibushi and joining the Alliance's CODE, Taitsuke will show that he is nothing like the monster inside him.

Fen was found by a well known time patroller during a parallel quest he was being mind-controlled by an unseen foe and was putting up a hell of a fight in a purple super saiyan form. Once he was defeated he couldn't recall anything from before he was getting mind controlled so he joined up with the time patrol and became best friends with the man who saved him from being mind-controlled. Fen used the dragon balls to remember everything that happened before he was mind-controlled after he remembered everything he betrayed the time patrol.

Arugula is the time patroller mentioned above who saved Fen there's not much to tell about Arugula except that he is from Vegeta (The planet) he has never told anyone how or why he joined the patrol he keeps personal details about himself to the minimum and is a model time patroller... when he's on duty that is when he has a day off he's either watching fights from the main timeline and hanging out with Fen he used a wish on the dragonballs so he wouldn't age so he could, in turn, work for the time patrol.

Arune joined the time patrol after Arugula saved her from many mind-controlled individuals after she joined the time patrol people would refuse to go on missions with her after having her accompany them on a single mission Arugula noticed this and asked if she would like to go on missions with him she agreed instantly even though most of the foes would be much stronger than her so Arugula began to train her up she is in love with Arugula he pretends to have not noticed the obvious favor.

Gu Long and his parents stepped out of their grand mansion. It was two stories high with a red tiled roof. Traditional, simple and big from the outside and decorated and elegant on the inside. Gu Long and his parents walked down to a carriage lined with golden dragons and phoenixes on a white background, waiting to bring them to Long City. Long City was the biggest and most important city in the Long County. Gu Zhengzhi's mother came from the Long Family. The examinations were being held there. Long City was quite close to Gu City, there was about a ten kilometer distance between them. They stepped into the carriage. It had a lot of space inside and the benches were made of silk dyed red and stuffed with cloth, the walls were red and the windows lined with gold. They traveled for one hour and a half and finally arrived in Long City.

"We have finally arrived Xiao Long" Ling Ya said.

The family of three stepped off the carriage.

The city was bustling. Merchants selled their wares, farmers called out to try to sell their products, people walked, chatted and bought. It seemed as if there was an endless stream of people walking around. The houses were made of stone, most of them one to two stories high. In front of Gu Long there stood an enormous compound with a palace at the center. On the gates there were golden charcters that looked like dragons- 'Long Family'. The gates were currently open. Many nobles were queing up with their seven year old children walking next to them. On the left side there was an endless line of commoners that stretched all the way into the horizon. Gu long joined his parents on the left side of the que and waited patiently to sign in. When it was their turn to sign in his father scribbled Gu Long's name on the notebook infront him. On it thousands of names of all the seven year old children were written. Next to the names there were checkmarks or crosses depending on wether they passed or didn't. They then joined the line on the other side of the gates. Now that Gu Long was on the other side of the gates he could see the compound better. Vast green fields with many groups of white red roofed houses. In the middle there stood a palace made from jade white marble. It had four minor towers with windows there and in the center ther was a large tower that stuck out from a enormous hall. Wrapped around the tower was the statue of a golden dragon. Along the dragon's body stood the characters 'Long Family' once again. Gu Long had always loved dragons since little but whenever he heard or saw something related to phoenixes, he hated them. He had no idea why, but ot was a hatred that came froom deep inside his heart.

"Xiao Long! Come here!" Shouted his mother, Ling Ya.

Gu Long woke from his stupor.

"Coming!" Responded Gu Long

He ran to his parents who were already quit far ahead of him as the nobles behind him wore irritated look on their faces. Gu Long then slowly shuffled alongside his parents, making sure to stay focused. The left row wnet to agbigger group of houses in the distance while the nobles were led to the palace. An hour or so later, they finally arrived at the palace. They were led to a waiting room and thet waited there another hour😪. Gu Long fell asleep but in what seemed was the blink of an eye, he was woken up.

"Master Gu, Mistress Ling. Please, this way." The servant led us to the testing room.

We walked down a long marble hallway and entered a room. It was moderately big. There was a cold iron table in the middle there were wierd objects that glowed on wooden tables on the sides. Another wooden table towards the back had two people sitting behind it. Both of them wore a simple red robe. One was tall and lanky with long black hair and eyes. The one on the right was short, pudgy and plump with short brown hair and dark brown eyes. Both were male. My parents approached them and greeted them.

"Head of the Gu Family, Gu Zhengzhi"

"Wife of the Head, Ling Ya"

Gu Long approached slowly as well.

He said shyly "Son of the Head, Gu Long."

"I believe that Gu Long is the one to be tested?" Asked the lanky one with an 8ndifferent tone in his voice.

"Are you that stupid Gao[1]! Of course he is!" Said the pudgy one.

*Hmph* Scoffed Gao.

"Shut up Duan[2]! As if you are any better."

"Answering your question Sirs, Gu Long is indeed the one to be tested." His father intervened.

"Fine, please go back to the waiting room, we will call you when we are ready." Gao said.

His parents left leaving Gu Long alone with the Examiners.

"We will first test your talent in cultivation then your comprehension and mental capacity, ehich type of qi suites you best and finally your constitution if you have one. Now please step on this metal disk." Duan said.

Gu Long looked at the disk. It looked like a normal disk except for the slightly blue, gloeing magical inscriptions. He walked over to it and a strange sense of calm appeared in his chest then spreading throughout his body. He stepped on the disk and the inscription brightened. A burst of air and light came from the inscription as suddenly a roar could be heard.

*RRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR*

A dragon made of blue light hurtled from the disk into the air. It started circling around Gu Long's body, sending out roars occasionally there and there. Gu Long was mesmerized by the dancing and flying dragon so he didn't notice that the instructors had been thrown onto the floor and that the chairs, tables, devices, anything that was close to him had been pushed away by some unimaginable force. Gu Long reached to touch the dragon. When the tip of his finger grazed the dragon, the Qi that made up the dragon was absorbed by him. The dragon faded and so did Gu Long's consciousness.

Dragons and Phoenixes are mystical beings. Everything originates from them and they originate from their Gods- the Cosmos Dragon God and the Phoenix God. But one day the Cosmos Dragon God battled against the Phoenix God, who desired to become the Cosmos God. The dragon lost. Long thought dead the dragon awakens. Weakened by his long sleep, the immortal-turned-mortal embarks upon his journey to recover his memories of his past life, become powerful, get his revenge and become the Cosmos Dragon God again.
