I ran straight towards the room. While climbing I lost my control and had a fall. Tears weren't coming. I was not able to feel the pain. All I had turned mad, when I saw all that I couldn't control myself. I stood up and ran with all my energy. I went inside, went near her. The dead me. I couldn't touch her. I went sat in front of her. I couldn't still believe was it really me.
Suddenly my hands were stained with blood. Not only my hands but also my face, legs. When I looked at her she was moving and looking with all tears in her eyes. She was dead I thought. "Who are you? Are you me? Who did this to you?" Her eyes looked deep. Wasn't saying anything. She started looking towards the wall. I was driving crazy. You need medication can you get up. Wait I will get help.. She held her blood stained hands on mine and kept looking towards the wall and said watch. Her voice were as same as mine. It was getting more like watching a horror movie. I looked towards the wall she was looking. A mirror was present there. But I wasn't able to remember one there before. I stood up and walked towards the mirror as I saw small movements inside it. I walked close and I saw it, it was me dressed totally black. The way the women who killed her had dressed. Is it some sort of joke or am I trapped in horror house? Is ghost playing with me..
I looked towards myself I was dressed the same. All I was stained with blood. I was not able to define it well. The mirror started to move. I was looking towards the mirror. The fear was getting intense and the courage to face this was getting lost. The mirror began to show.... All the truth that I never looked, ignored and never accepted.
When we take birth on the planet we never know the truth of who we are and what we are. Later with time we start to realize the actual truth. If we categorize our life we will realize it can be divide into parts. Each part with undefinable title. We forget to define our own life's, why is it so? Because may be we are busy complaining about loses, peeping in others success and failures. This all gesture are true even according to great people. There are millions of points I can lay towards you but I prefer to explain everything in the following path.
The most hurt thing happened to me that place may be was that mirror, the mirror had driven me into somethings that... made the actual me into pieces. Lessons were shown that had morals that I never laid through myself.
That guy he wasn't there, truth to tell I really wish he was there so may before I die in pity. He could hold me.. but he wasn't there to hold. Destiny was to die again. May be it won't tear me apart. A feeling you can define as emptiness was passing. Why question was passing. He said only things appeared was based on my imagination. Now was question arises, was he speaking the truth. Because why would I ever imagine such a cold thing? Why would I hurt myself? Why would I do this to myself?
Looking towards the hurting truth beginning I was feeling weak and pale. Sick feeling, fingers were getting cold..
All of the sudden...

How do you define horror, dear reader? I mean true horror, the kind that rips a mind and soul apart. Is your horror supernatural, with extraordinary creatures lurking in the shadows and mystifying forces overwhelming us, but beyond our ability to comprehend? Or is horror more basic in its origin, stemming from human weaknesses and failings, from generations of damaged people handing down their ways?
Maybe your flavor of horror comes suddenly, with dramatic and deadly confrontations or from devastating secrets being revealed. Or perhaps your nightmare unfolds over time creating a momentum of its own, before finally reaching a threshold past which there is no escape. And certainly no discussion of horror and  evil would be complete without the concept of nature vs nurture and their effect on men.
I've kept well informed about the tales of the angels around the world since my appointment many years ago and it has been intriguing, if nothing else. So if you have the time and inclination, dear reader, I've stories to tell. They aren't pleasant and many don't end well, so don't hold out much hope. No, these are tales about tragedies in the truest sense of the word. So sit back and relax, if you can, dear reader, and I will tell you of the tales of the Angels of Death.....

Volume 1 Synopsis: 

Killing didn't satisfy any kind of psychological need for Liu Shifu. 

Sometimes he killed alone, and sometimes he brought help. Sometimes he worked as a killer for hire; sometimes the killings were his own doing. Sometimes it was business; sometimes it was just blind rage.

He didn't smoke, drink, gamble or womanize and he made sure he fitted no easy pattern. There was no other way to describe him apart from simply calling him an Angel of Death.

This novel idea is based on the series: Terror-Infinity. 
Differences include: Anime worlds instead of Movies. It won't be based on Horror concepts but battle anime. There will be a definite class system for missions instead of some hidden value. Abilities must be learned (Excluding the beginning). Expect to return to the fiction in the future. Other than the main character (maybe), do not expect any character to survive. Lastly, characters will start out with amnesia.
To help out with any questions for why this story is set this way, here's a little Q&A summary.
Question: [Why Anime worlds instead of Movies?]
Answer: [Anime is a realm of imagination. What is possible in one world can also be possible in another with little explanation. That and I am more familiar with anime.]
Question: [Why the focus on battle instead of horror?]
Answer: [When reading, people will focus on what has their attention. Be it social situations, romance, or fighting, they usually resolve around conflict to showcase the characters involved. A character's actions and reasoning are what build up a conflict and elevate the story. Or so is my interpretation.]
Question: [Why include a class system for missions?]
Answer: [In Terror-Infinity and other such mission-based stories, it seemed like there was no reason to enter a specific world after another. This can result in some easy mission arcs before a difficult mission arc. A sudden change does not always go well with the readers so there is a need to clarify the difficulty and plot progression. This being the reason for implementing the class system.]
Question: [What do you mean by characters needing to learn abilities? Why would the beginning be different?]
Answer: [Most mission-based stories include a system of some sort. The abilities in these systems can be earned provided someone does well enough in one or two missions. It can give off a feeling of plot convenience though, so I decided to make the value of the currency so cheap that the exchange system will be difficult to cheat with easy grinding. To avoid this, there is a urgency for characters to try and learn from the worlds they visit. Of course, characters cannot enter worlds totally unprepared so the beginner's gift is implemented. This can result in certain battle styles for each character as it is difficult to amass a collection of abilities for variety.]
Question: [What do you mean by returning to an anime?]
Answer: [Exactly what it sounds like. Many anime have multiple story arcs. Each one more difficult than the last. So there is a need to return to some select anime and further interact with the host characters. This can lead to some missions being either easier or harder in the future based on character interactions.]
Question: [Define the lifespan of the characters and why the main isn't so certain?]
Answer: [To give the characters a feeling of life, there must be a feeling of death as well. So a character can live as long as they are able to and die at any moment as well. The main character is just the one that the readers are introduced to. He can die himself.]
Question: [Why save the part about the amnesia for last?]
Answer: [When looking at a character, you view their previous experiences and their current outlook as well as relations. It is not for the fish out of water story. It is to include a mystery to who a character is and what they are doing there. I'm warning you though, it will be guessed by a majority given the pacing.]
Now that the explanations and world building is explored, I hope for some people to take the time to read this story. It will be submitted to the Phenomenal Author Evolution contest for male leads, so enjoy it there as well as the other entries.

Welcome to the void. A world that exists to drive men and women forward in hopes of achieving true strength. The weak will be left corpses on the road while the strong will face even greater challenges. 
Tom Bell awakens in the void without any memory. Now its his turn to challenge the numerous supernatural worlds of anime. Rise above the challenge or be crush under the sheer weight of it.

[I obviously couldn't help my girlfriend, and they just wanted to watch me crumble slowly to pieces. Resigned to my fate, I crawled back to the chair slowly and with great effort, heaved myself up onto the chair, closing my eyes and ignoring the messages of mocking comfort that came in during my outburst, telling me that I'll be alright and the likes. I took a deep breath to steady my fingers and typed.]
 
[You]: What next?
 
Moderator: Ah, there you are. I was wondering where you had gone to.
 
[You]: Stop playing with me. What are you gonna do to her now?
 
Moderator: Playing? I prefer to call it 'teaching a lesson'. If you must know… we did warn you before.
 
[You]: Oh, you did, huh? You didn't define clearly that you were going to do that!
 
Moderator: What's done is done.
 
[You]: Just let her go, okay? You've done enough damage as it is. C'mon!
 
Moderator: Oh? We're nowhere near 'done'. We're getting started.
 
[You]: You're crazy, you know that? What are you, some sort of judgment God?
 
[The Moderator would usually reply immediately after my message, but this time, there was no reply for a whole minute, but as I stared blankly at the chatroom window, I saw a movement in the live video window. 
I rushed to click the 'maximize' tab, only to see a muscular man with rings in his eyebrows and nicotine in his teeth grin—or rather, bare his teeth at the camera, his bloodshot eyes seeming to bore straight into my terrified and furious soul. I stared wide-eyed, as the man grabbed red-hot pliers and roughly took hold of my girlfriend's hands, before methodically ripping her nails out one by one. The 'hand torture', if you like, however, didn't end there at all. 
He lit a cigarette and took a puff right in her face and cackled, before sucking the blood from my girlfriend's left thumb and stabbing the lit end of the cigarette staright into the nailless end of her thumb. I could only stare wide-eyed in horror as the screams emanating from her throat were so loud that her voice broke halfway, but her mouth continued to open wide in a silent scream, her eyes wide too at first, but they shut halfway through her screams in a futile bid to slightly ease the burning pain.
I genuinely thought that that was the end of it. Alas, it was not to be. I couldn't blink as the man repeated… whatever he had done to her thumb to her other fingers. I was so flabbergasted that I could no longer find the strength to scream. I could only watch in never-ending horror, as the man plucked her toenails out too, albeit slowly this time. My girlfriend, apparently, had given up screaming too, just wordlessly accepting whatever torture they tossed at her. This was truly the stuff of nightmares, and it was burnt into my memory forever—one of the rare moments where I hopelessly prayed and prayed that I wasn't eidetic.
I blinked in surprise and deep down in me, relief, as the live video window blanked out, and closed on its own. My attention returned to the chatbox, which now had one chilling message from the Moderator.]
                                                   
Moderator: It's getting late, so we shall let you two rest. We'll continue in the morning. Sweet dreams, mister.
 
[I leaned back in my chair, trembling all over from a whole range of opposing emotions. I was angry, disgusted, confused and upset all at once, but with the mental battering my brain and soul had taken tonight, I needed to rest. I slammed the laptop lid shut, and rested my head on the table. 
I closed my eyes but I was unable to fall asleep, not knowing how my girlfriend was doing. Images and flashbacks of the tossed aside bloody nails and echoing shrieks flashed in my mind and I opened my eyes in resignation, unable to fall asleep. I stared straight ahead at the wall as I tried to push those memories to the back of my head… until I finally drifted off to a night of restless sleep.]

"When the things to be scared of are not ghouls or monsters, but mankind itself." Do not underestimate the horror of mankind. Ever.

Hiram wulf was an ordinary person, he was not of noble blood nor did he have talent in magic.
He had a simple education, learning from his parents about woodworking in order to inherit the family buisness, there was not much notable about him, he had average looks for a commoner and a normal build, but there was nothing really special about him.
The one notable thing he did was in his final moments of life when he died saving a friend from a rift ork. A rift had formed near his village and started to open up.
The Lord would not be bothered to send anyone to help them nor were the townsfolk capable of defending against the rift themselves.
Some of the townsfolk had family in other towns and fled but most of the people  living in the town had nowhere to go. The remaining townsfolk were forced to accept the fact that they were most likely going to die at the hands of monsters and simply waited for the rift to open and the monsters to pour out.
When it happened the village put up a fight but it was no use, the monsters had a thirst for blood and killed every human in the village.

Hiram woke to darkness.
He reached out and touched the cold, stone brick wall, confused and disoriented, he stood up. But before he could investigate his surroundings, there was a ping sound accompanied by a bright blue light, he squinted as he adjusted to the light, as his eyes adjusted the light formed a rectangle and words appeared on it as it remained floating there, now silent.
He looked and read the words on the glowing rectangle :
[you have another chance at life.] 
[Do you accept the dungeon master system?]
[Yes/No]
Suddenly he remembered his death, the rift, the monsters, the horror. Tears started to well up in his eyes and he began to cry, he lay down on the cold floor in a puddle of tears and cryed his eyes out.
A while later, he regained his composure and began to ponder the decision.

Terminology
-Rift: a portal to a strange place housing only monsters,cannot be entered but opens after a certain amount of time, releasing the monsters inside. 

-Dungeon: a mysterious building that houses monsters and loot of varying strength, each dungeon has a boss that is stronger than the rest of the monsters, they also have ranks to define the difficulty of the dungeon based off of the monsters number and strength.
