Next day he was in his room at the Pokemon centre which is located on the 1st floor far end side, it has quite a view as from the balcony you can see the ocean and beach. Nurse joy also helped him a bit as she said this was 'his' room before he entered the Vermilion City and was not changed or given to others as some items which belong to him, and he was VIP member of all Pokemon Centre. And they didn't dare to enter his room too.

The room was also dirty as no one wanted to enter this 'special' room. He and Clara (nurse joy) cleaned it up, and he specifically told her not to throw out any papers even if it's blank or torn. He even checked into the dustbin to take it out but was strongly rejected by Clara as it contained many waste materials and was stinking. She just picked it up to be thrown out. It took some time the room looked clean. His Chansey also helped them to clean the room.

He even informed the hospital that he will be taking back his Chansey with him, Chansey seems pleased with it.

Zach "Thank you for help Clara, but are you really not busy. You are this Pokemon centre's Nurse Joy, and Trainers may need your help with their Pokemon, right?" he asked worriedly as he thought it was a burden that she is helping him out.

Clara "It's fine, my assistants are taking care of it and my Chansey also helping them, If I help them all the time they won't get any experience in running the Pokemon centre. And if there are any problems and emergency, they will call me." She said with a smile and showed me her mobile phone.

Zachary couldn't help but look at this Nurse joy who was helping him out from time in the hospital, he felt something budding inside him, as an experienced person he knows he started to get attracted to her.

He smiled and said, "So, when will I be getting my Pokémons I need to start having bonding and training with them, even if I lost my memory, I need to make them comfortable with new me."

Clara looked dazed at his smile and quickly snapped out of it, but Zach noticed it and kept quiet.

Clara "My assistant will bring them to you." she smiled and left quickly.

Zach sighed and went to the bathroom to get freshen up, not before kicking Chansey out of the bathroom who followed him inside. But she kept banging on the door, he had no choice to let her in.

Outside Zach's room, Clara held her hand on her heart as it was beating furiously, she shook her head, slapped her cheeks and went back to work.

He took a quick shower as He wanted to read the 'Old book' which was in English.

He looked at the position of the figure as to how the figure was sitting on the first page. The image had some points on how to meditate, he started to memorize them. The first page it only had about, how to meditate in any environment as it was universally possible in any Hot or cold, windy or Rainy, Quite or noisy environment. It was written, with mediation one can improve its inner stability, won't be affected by illusions and their power will increase. This method is even possible on all Pokemons.

"Is it similar to 'Calm mind' move in some Pokemon have? Does that mean any Pokemon can learn it?" He just thought about it, "It is psychic type move and only some can learn it even with TM in the game but this is real life is it possible?" He wondered. It was as if a new door has opened to him.

He thoroughly studied the 1st page for an hour and connected it some of his experience of his past life and made a suitable one for him and his Pokemons, now the only thing left out is to practice it.

He thought for a bit and decided to just read all the pages for now and later thoroughly learn them.

After 1 hours he became frustrated and howled, he felt to throw the book away. But he calmed down. The reason being from 4th page on-words the handwriting changed to cursive handwriting he had a hard time reading them, he didn't know if it was 'e', 'i', 'r', 's', 'u', 'v' or 'w' and most of it didn't even make a sense.

Another work was added to his do-to-list that was to decode the language. He was a bit happy and sad, that 1st page was a foundation technique and it was in detail while 2nd and 3rd page just informed him what is the technique's he will be learning from this book it was like a content/Index for the book. It looked like the person who wrote this book was a troll and a sadist. Because it was too tempting, and he didn't want to throw it away.

'Fck the person who made cursive handwriting' he though and went through the first page and making some notes in his mind.

He discovered that if he reads it once or twice it will be present in his mind. It looked like his brain is powered up but still very far away from being absolute.

As such time went by, he got his Pokémons back, it was brought by one of the assistants, and she was clearly excited and nervous to meet him and asked for his autograph. He didn't feel any sort of attraction towards her, as she was under-aged and was a kid, he had the mentality of 30 years old from his past life. When he calculated about his present body's age it was more than 30 years old, as in this world 1 year is 2.5 years from earth.

He looked at her who was blushing and had a nervous smile on her, as she was asking for his sign, he didn't know why she wanted it, and so he asked about it.

Zachary "why is that you need it, I'm famous?" he asked curiously with a smile of his face.

Assistant was clearly excited "Yes, I'm your fan and also Pokemon lover like you. I would also want to be Pokemon Researcher like you, so I started working as an internship here as a starting point." As she said she handed over her notebook and pen.

Zachary didn't know what to do as he thought about her words 'fan and Pokemon lover.'

He took her notebook and signed it and gave back to her. He had already practised his original signature from his ID. Now he signed was a short one, he kept it when becomes famous.

The girl was clearly excited and said: "The rumour was false, you are really not as bad they said." She giggled and left.

He twitched his mouth at that statement.

He looked at the time it just was 2 pm, he had already had his lunch and even his Pokemons were fed by the Pokemon centre. He decided to go out in the evening at the beach and have dinner with his Pokemon.

He quickly went online, poke-gle search site and typed his full name 'Zachary Dustbane'. He looked at the long list of 'his' search details. He was surprised there were many pages and news about him like he is a Genius or Pokémon's Gifts and also about Pokemon lover.

There was a page about him and had about thousands of fans. He was a mini-celebrity. His latest news was a few months back, it was about he started his journey as Pokemon Trainer but didn't know which region but some people spotted him in Kanto, all his fans are excited about him participation in Indigo league.

He sighed and thought 'I'm already this famous.' He had a grand vision of becoming famous and loved by people, who wouldn't want that, but his dream was shattered even before he thought of it.

And About 'Pokemon lover' thing, it looked like he took care of many Pokemon problems, Wilds as well as owned. He had solved many trainers' aggressive Pokémons, and they were deeply in debt to him. The only problem was he didn't like to socialize with people and hated any person who asks for his autograph or photo, he even uses Pokemon moves to block any person and escapes, he was an anti-social person even to his family and it was said he never smiled to people other than Pokemons. His most quoted words were, 'Pokemons are more Humane than any of the Human Being'. It was said it had something to do about his childhood to turn his personality like this.

He looked at it for some time and sighed, he didn't know he had such a past, and he didn't know what would happen moving forward. He shook his head didn't think much about his future.

The most important thing was there was no news about his fall and amnesia it seems it was kept hidden from the media.

'It looked like Clara also knew me but for some reason, she didn't want to tell me.' He shook his head didn't bother about it.

He looked at the time it was already 4 pm, he went out for some bonding with his Pokemon.
He called out his Pokemon when he reached the beach.
He was excited to see them again.

A normal person had his soul transferred to a forgotten side-character in the pokemon world. He wakes up to find himself in the pokemon world without any system or godly cheat but has something better than those.

Chesire was sent on his missions and Vladis being a hardworking man was busy dealing with the work.
 Arthur had a huge empire to manage and it was very troublesome to manage it. Vladis used to always complain about been overworked but the truth was not what as it seems. Vladis was Arthur's right-hand man and he was the knight commander of his army so he had a lot of work to deal with but it didn't mean Arthur had any easy. 
As good as it seems to be powerful and to be a wizard, it also had some consequences. Though Vladis had the pressure to handle military warfare and issues related to Arthur's safety Arthur had to always deal with the pesky council, mighty beast, crazy witches, and the women who were infatuated with his charms. Arthur hated the women who were shallow and greedy. Then there were other three empires with whom he had to maintain good relations. Although there were fights going on behind the shadows for power but they all had to pretend like peace-loving peoples.
Inside his lavish study, Arthur was drowning in his paperwork when he heard a knock on his door, and before he can even speak enter Vladis came inside and leisurely sat on the couch with a stiff smile on his face. 
Arthur was intrigued by Vladi's smile.
 Arthur always had a lazy smile while Vladis used to always smile like sunshine but whenever Vladis used to wear this stiff smile, it was never a good omen. 
At this time Arthur wanted nothing more than to kick Vladis out of his study and just as he predicted after completing the drink which was put beside the couch Vladis came towards his desk and handed him a paper. It was a very old paper that has lost his luster and had smudges all over the paper but still the handwriting was recognizable.
When Arthur saw the handwriting on a paper he frowned because to him the handwriting seems to known. The handwriting was beautiful with cursive strokes but the content inside paper was exceptionally rough.
The content of the letter was
"My love,
I love you from the depth of my heart. 
For me you were my goddess to whom I devoted my entire life.
 I feel alive and wanted when I am with you.
 When darkness engulfed me your smiling face was the only thing which made me sane. 
I never believed in God or any religion but after meeting you I decided to only pray you. 
I don't care about man's dignity , I only beg you to come to me.
 Please embrace me one more time, kiss me one more time, smile at me one more time, please just for once come in my embrace. 
I promise I am willing to die for your one embrace.
Please accept my love."
"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk such a crappy love confession", Arthur disdainfully commented.
"Don't you think this handwriting is just the same as yours and also the use of the words are also somewhat like, which would be used by you" wizard spoke his thoughts.
Vladis was silent for a moment before giving a sharp look to Arthur.
He was also feeling the same but he won't admit it.
"You will probably fail to win a women's heart if you continue disdaining everything related to love".
"If you want to live your entire life being not loved by anyone then be my guest and continue doing this, "Vladis spoke in contempt.
"You know I don't believe in love. A man can only have desires and for fulfilling them I have enough resources"
"Let's concentrate on these issues first. You were going to report me about the council's work"
"Go ahead", Arthur blandly spoke.
"Brian and Reseen are planning something in the dark."
"Their activities have been suspected for some time. They both have made several visits to the Soyles empire. "
"From the sources it is confirmed that they have some kind of dealings with Lord Sien. "
"The Soyles empire is not blessed with magic nor they are capable of any sorcery. They have always lived their lives in seclusion and are supposed to be living a rather happy life."
"But we all know that they were descendants of the art of necromancy".
"They were?",Arthur asked.
"They are"Vladis spoke.
"But on the surface the situation is different. The previous lord of Soyles empire, Lord Rein had abolished the necromancy from his empire and had also announced a decree stating necromancy as a taboo. So the art is lost for three decades and it is believed that after the death of lord Rein there is no one else who knows necromancy so it is a futile effort for both of them to go there."
"If we are going to accuse them on the basis of our suspicions then we will surely face consequences and moreover the enemy would be alerted too."
"It was a good move played by those old geezers. In the name of maintaining international relations and diplomacy they both are cooking something evil. We can't ignore them. They are the elites and Brian is the head strategist of warfare while Reseen  is an extremely astute and meticulous person who doesn't leave any clues behind him. We need to be extremely careful and had to plan very methodically". Vladis explained everything patiently.
Arthur was grinning the whole time and after vladis became quiet there was a glint in his eyes that can't be concealed. It was evident that he was becoming interested in this conspiracy game.
"Vladis you sure have a good observation skills"
"For the time being, continue having tabs on both of them but do it more discreetly after all they all are our precious uncles and my father's loyal subordinates, "he sarcastically said.
"Okay", Vladis replied but his eyes were glued on the confession letter the whole time which Arthur noticed and gave a light chuckle.
"What don't you tell me that you want the letter"
" Are you going to write such mushy confession to someone?"
"Care to tell" Arthur teased him.
Vladis maintained a poker face and said, "you wish, I only intend to take the letter for studying the ink and for finding out the time duration it was written. Maybe it will help us in our investigation after all the letter was found in the official record of Vladella when she was the vice-chancellor of Reinstle empire "
"oh, i forgot to tell you that I need one week vacation"
"Why?"lord enquired.
Vladis sighed and gave a helpless smile," because I have to entertain my fiancee for a week."
"You mean the daughter of councilmen, Brian Taylor" . Arthur spoke.
"yes, if not then i will be convicted for not following the previous lord's orders". Vladis spoke with a smile filled with misery.
Arthur was delighted to witness the scene in front of us and happily gave him one week's vacation.

Long Enchantment spells, freaking orbs, taming dragons, fighting demons' sorcerers, witches, all these got me bored Chesire.

Somehow, an impulse drove him to open the book on his desk, which was filled with her thoughts on the script.

On the back of the photo, there were only four words -- heart pounding.
Her clear handwriting was cursive and very forceful. It seemed to represent her emotions at that time.
Huo Nanchen finally understood why her movie was called "heart palpitating" . So that was where it came from. The corners of his lips curled up slightly. His originally silent heart suddenly started to stir.
Did this count as her silent confession to him?

Although Dreamer knew who Captain America was he knew he was supposed to be an alien so he pretended to not understand and said

He goes on to explain Captain America



Dreamer cleverly told Peter that he would not be strong as captain America naturally but left it unsaid that with his amplification he would be stronger than him because he didn't want spider kid running around being a hero.


<So how much do I need to exercise?>
<What exercise?. I told you I will do it.>
<What don't you mean that you make it easier for me to gain muscle?>
<Kid looks like you misunderstood. You don't need to do anything all you need to have is a constant source of food and water.>
<What you mean I don't need to do anything and I will gain a body of an Athlete?>
<Kid Why are you repeating yourself. I will just need to eat certain foods and yes even those you don't like but don't worry I will create cravings for the food you need to eat and yes even for something like broccoli etc.>


<Wow I didn't even know people could have cravings for Broccoli.>
<Nows that's out of the way, Kid I want you to organise the room, I don't tolerate a lazy host and hate a disorganized mess>
With instructions from Dreamer and some life hacks he made clean up his room and organise everything.


<Whew, you are slave driver.> whined Peter mentally
<What slave driver actively helps his slaves body in perfect condition>
 said Peter sarcastically.
<So how do you know so much about Humans and our Habits>

Dreamer was having a lot of fun being a backseat driver.


<So What do you usually do Kid? When do you get your Education?>
<It is Mondays to Fridays, Saturday and Sunday's are holidays.>
<Oh, So what do you during your Holidays?>

<Oh then do your stuff.>


Peter didn't know what to think of his symbiotic partner, all the things he told him he wanted to believe but he didn't know if he could believe his words.
<You know I can hear your thoughts right?>

Peter avoided the situation and took out his books and started doing his homework.
After 30 mins he cleared up his homework. During this time Dreamer was studying the difference between a conscious host and an unconscious host and he found that the response was a huge difference in speed of response and the control of the host was much finer. But he found something more interesting. He found that he could control and change muscle memory.


He found this out during the time Peter was writing the writing was so ingrained that he just need to think of the letter and his hand automatically wrote down. Seeing this he wanted to test something.


<So are you done with your work?>
<Yeah>
<So, Why is your handwriting so bad?>
<Uh, I just didn't practice my handwriting I suppose>
<So I wanna test something, do you have anything to practice your Handwriting?>

<Good take them out.>


Peter searched around in his books and took them out.
<Good, now practice each of the letters one time exactly on the Line>
Peter just shrugged and wrote all the book one time in about 20mins. When Peter was practising Dreamer was constantly adjusting peters handwriting according to the book.


<Good it's done now what?>
<Now open an empty page in your notebook and write as I dictate.>
<The mind is one the most complex part of sentient beings, meditating is one of the ...>
Peter was focusing on my voice while writing so he didn't notice that his hand was writing in perfect cursive handwriting neatly like it was printed from a printer. I was dictating him the meditation part of my Mind technique, he was also listening and from time to time I could see flashes of inspiration though his mind and understanding.

Peter was dumbfounded at his handwriting

Sometime later Peter reading up science articles on the internet and was writing stuff down but a dreamer who was seeing peters learning technique was having a headache. As a self-made genius in his last life, Dreamer had gotten used to sorting the information he read, and arranging them in a way that would be easy to revisit but also to easier to understand.


Peter's Haphazard way of learning made Dreamer get a headache. But still, since he was partners with peter for a long time to come, he figured he would mentor the kid. Unlike him, Peter was a natural genius and Dreamer was dying to see what a Natural genius with his ethics and techniques would be like.


Just like that the rest of the day was teaching Peter methods for increasing efficiency, the reasoning behind them and why he should use them and gave him a project to practise this skill by going through all his previous books and notes and reorganise them by the method Dreamer taught him.


<Man I understand your reasoning but doing this stuff and remembering everything is hard and tiring.>
<Just practice with it Peter, with me reminding you once you make these your habits they will help you lifelong. You can also make pocket money with your notes once you reorganize everything by selling copies to kids in your same classes and it might make you popular. Just so kids could get your notes. <Wow it is already nighttime.> Thought as he got up and turned to leave.
<Stop right there. Come back and clear the table up and pack your bag before you go down.>

<Nope, do it right now your body will feel lethargic after eating and you will just sleep.>
<Fiiine> whined peter as he set about organising and packing everything into his school bag before going down for dinner.


"So what were you doing in your room all day Peter."
"Uh"

"I uh, found a website on the internet it had a lot of cool tips like one's to get perfect handwriting, one for writing notes in a way which is much easier to read and a lot of Lifehacks."
"What is a Lifehack" asked Ben curiously
"Well, it generally a tip or trick you know like how to fold clothes in two steps and stuff like that. Anyway, so I decided I will give all of them a shot."


"That is a good decision Peter, always try to improve yourself." Said May
"Yeah" and the rest of dinner went well with them chatting and telling each other what they had done today etc.


Back in his room after dinner, Peter sat on the Computer but before he could start on playing some games, dreamer said <Peter, do you have a daily time table >
<Nope>
<Then maybe you should have one>
<What are you some sort of alien self help guide, sheesh>



 said Peter as he went back to the computer but this time he couldn't move his hand
<Come on, I don't want to do it right now> said peter struggling to control his hand, after a few more tries he gave up.
<Fine, fine I will do it> So with the insistence of Dreamer Peter drew up a new flexible schedule.
But by the time they completed, it was already time to sleep.


<Man, I didn't get to have a single bit of Fun today.> complained Peter
< It's not like you have to do this daily, it is a one-time thing for a Long time until a major change happens in your day to day life.>
<Now change into PJ's get into the Bed>
Peter reluctantly nodded and changed his clothes and got into bed and then started counting sheep.
<Why are you counting sheep?> asked Dreamer
<You know to get sleep.>

There was a brief silence before peter adjusted himself into a comfortable position while grumbling in his mind about his stupidity before Dreamer put Peter into Deep sleep.
Dreamer thought 'This is going to be a long few months before he gets into the habits automatically and they understand each other a lot better'

One day, during a tourism visit in Japan I got visited by the almighty Truck Kun. This is how I became a Klynta.

I wake up from my meeting and see Niroja peacefully asleep. She was holding my hand, which she must've done when I was in the white room otherwise I would've noticed it. I guess she did so because I toss and turn a lot when I'm with the Headmaster according to Young Mi, and Niroja probably thought it was a nightmare.

I used my other hand to cover hers which were feeling rather cold from being exposed to the cold air when I felt something prodding my back.

Steven: "Huh?"

I turn to find a hooded figure squatting next to the bed with my jian ready to be drawn.

Mysterious Figure: "Mister Omeo, your time has come."

Steven: "Who the fuck are you?!"

I threw the blanket over the figure and kicked them into the wall nearby. Kicking the jian away, I pulled the blanket off the figure and I was ready to blast them away with magic when they frantically removed their hood.

Madelyn: "Wait! I was just messing with you! It's me! It's a joke! I'm joking! I was pranking you! It's just a prank!"

Steven: "Madelyn?"

I let out a long and jaded sigh and sit back down on the bed. Madelyn was holding her hand, with a little blood dripping down to her wrist. She must've nicked her hand on my sword when I kicked her.

Madelyn: "Ow, shit."

Steven: "Let me see it."

Dai-tai pokes her head from the other side of the bed as I start using healing magic. It was one of the healing spells I picked up from Rayna and I used a small rag to clean her blood.

She was as good as new before she even realized it.

Madelyn: "Oh! That's cool!"

Steven: "I hate you for doing that."

Madelyn: "Stop being dramatic."

Dai-tai: "Yeah, you kicked her!"

Niroja: "What's going on?"

Madelyn: "Do either of you even realize what time it is?"

I didn't have to look outside the window to know it was past morning.

Steven: "Oh, it's a little late."

Madelyn: "It's time for lunch, come and get some if you're hungry."

I decided to lay down for a minute as the girls leave the room. Dai-tai was the one that stayed with me and laid down to join me as we stared into the ceiling.

Dai-tai: "You let her off pretty easy."

Steven: "I was raised in a busy kitchen. I'm used to putting up with shit."

Dai-tai: "So if I pin you like this, what would you do?"

She pushes me down on the bed and sits on top of me and holds my arms down. Dai-tai's hair becomes a bit messy during my struggle and reveals her small horns she likes to keep hidden. I didn't realize it until she leaned down, closer to me, that I see her left horn damaged.

It was like someone tried sawing them off but only made it a couple of centimeters before stopping.

Steven: "What happened to your horn, Dai-tai?"

Dai-tai: "Huh? Oh!"

She lets my arms go and uses her hands to hide her horns. Immediately looking away from me, I sat back up as my curiosity was asking questions.

Did she do it to herself?

Why did it happen?

Steven: "Dai-tai?"

She looks at me, scowling as her eyes are building up in tears. Guilt starts to wrap me as I realized that I shouldn't have asked her. The best I could do to make up for it was to apologize.

Steven: "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked."

Dai-tai: "That's not it!"

Steven: "It's not?"

Dai-tai: "I—They did it to me…"

They…

Could it have been the Old Guard? Maybe even the orphanage…

Either way, Dai-tai still seemed upset and I was hopeless, the best I could do was hold her as she fought her own tears.

Dai-tai: "It still hurts sometimes…"

Steven: "It's fine… I'm here… I won't let anyone hurt you anymore."

A beautiful town with a horrible personality…

Steven: "Come on, let's go get lunch, Dai-tai."

Dai-tai: "Could we stay like this for a little longer..?"

I obliged her and after some time she calms down. I knew she was starting to feel better when she started giving subtle hints with her body on what "I should do" next.

I only responded with a compliment.

Steven: "I think your horns are beautiful."

Dai-tai: "You'll give a girl the wrong impression if you talk like that."

She giggles and stands up. I saw her sad smile and knew she'll be like this for a while.

Dai-tai: "Come on… let's go. I'm hungry."

Someone knocks on the door before it opens.

Young Mi: "Ah—I apologize for interrupting… Dai-tai?"

She saw Dai-tai's teary eyes and immediately glares at me thinking it was my fault.

Dai-tai: "Sorry mama, I was talking to Steven… and he saw my horn."

Young Mi: "No, don't apologize, Dai-tai. Just come and get lunch."

Dai-tai: "We'll be right there."

We went out of the room and I got to see what was made for lunch. Young Mi and Madelyn got together and made chicken burgers with slaw and macaroni salad. It looks really good but again, like breakfast, I'm not feeling the mood to eat.

Steven: "Young Mi, I'm not feeling hungry, is that because I'm a Wight?"

Young Mi "Yes, you'll be fine if you eat or not. It's just that your magic sustains you as it does for me."

Suddenly, it's starting to feel like being a Wight is more of a handicap for a chef like me. If I do happen to live forever, sure, I'll have the recipes for the centuries, but I won't be able to enjoy them as I would after working hard and coming home peckish.

Steven: "Thank you for the meal."

After eating, I sit down at the couch where Lilith was relaxing and I retrieved the letter from under my tunic. It really had to be from Kanna because the letter was in cursive, her usual way of writing.

The letter had also piqued the girl's interest, and Madelyn even sits next to me trying to peek into the envelope.

Madelyn: "You have a letter? Where'd you get it?"

Steven: "It's from Kanna."

Madelyn: "Kanna?"

I opened the letter, and see even more of Kanna's cursive handwriting. She really took her time with this, as her writing was cleaner than I remember.

Dai-tai: "Ooh! Ooh! Can we see?"

Steven: "Sure."

They had already gathered around me before I had any say, and I was starting to get nervous. What if she wrote something nobody else should know about? 

Niroja: "She has pretty handwriting."

Kanna Hisakawa: "

Dear Steven,

Where are you? I didn't want to believe you were gone. Since you came, you've smiled brightly even in the worst of your times. It wasn't until you were taken away from me that I realized how much you mean to me, even more than just a servant.

I already want you to come back. I miss you. I felt warm when you used magic, as it was my magic that you were using. But no longer do I feel your warm presence when you use it as you're on the other side of the world. 

So much has happened in a short course of a month. Mom is sick and Uncle came with the Captain to care for her. They took the letter you sent seriously and didn't waste a moment. They are now using your room to rest and I am more than certain that you would've allowed it either way. 

As I write this letter, I realize that I am frustrated that you are constantly finding yourself in these situations as you've been doing since I've met you. Whether it be the Headmaster, Demons or even Cynthia's antics.

I'm not asking as your mistress or master as you prefer to use, but as a friend. Please, don't get yourself killed and come home as soon as possible. There's something important I want to tell you in person.

My eyes well up with happiness. For a short letter, I found a newfound motivation and determination to return to her. 

Young Mi: "You'll see her soon, I know you will."

Niroja: "Yeah! We'll even help you get there!"

Dai-tai: "That's right!"

Madelyn: "It'll be a companion quest."

Lilith: "I'll help too."

They didn't even hesitate to help…

Steven: "You'll all help me?"

Niroja: "You attract what you are, not what you want."

Dai-tai: "You've been brave, caring, funny, helpful, and hard working. So, it's only natural that we decide to help."

I never would have guessed that I would be the one in need of help. With everyone helping me, this would no doubt be very easy to return home.

There was a knock at the door, and I cheerfully opened the door to see Rayna standing there.

Rayna: "Steven, good afternoon."

Steven: "Rayna, how've you been? Come in."

Rayna: "Happy."

Bringing Rayna in made everyone in the cabin a bit standoffish. She was never properly introduced to the others and somehow, there's some of us believing she had something to do with my death.

Steven: "Oh, you haven't met everyone else, have you..? Everyone, this is Rayna, she was immensely helpful in Meinu."

Young Mi: "This is the time-traveler Loremaster was talking about?"

She curiously walked up to Rayna and politely shook her hand.

Young Mi: "I'm Young Mi. I think it's both amazing and reckless, don't you think? You have no idea what you could've damaged timewise."

Rayna: "I'm Rayna. Any future is better than what I've lived through, Young Mi."

Everyone else eased up and Dai-tai had offered her spot for her to sit.

Steven: "Well, what's done is done."

The next day, as I was getting ready for work, Scott tapped me on my shoulder. 

"Kyle's on the phone… he sounds upset."

I groan and take the phone. I put up against my ear, and I could hear the unmistakable sounds of Kyle having a panic attack.

"Kyle?"

"Oh god, Mae!? Please come home!"

I ball my fist. "After you hit me last night?"

"I did what..? Mae, I'm sorry! Come home! We can talk about this, right?"

"I'll talk… when you get help with your alcohol problem."

"Mae I'm-"

"If you love me, you'll get help."

I slam the phone down and curl into a ball on the couch. Scott walked up behind me and sighs. He sat down next to me and patted my back.

"Am I doing the right thing?"

"I think you are. He needs help and this is a wake up-"

There was a loud string of knocks on the door, followed by sobs. 

"Mae, come outside! I'll change! Please!"

I sat up and started to cry. I didn't want to talk to him right now. I wanted to lay down and sleep, not even caring about work. 

Scott got up and flung open the door. Kyle shoved Scott's shoulder trying to get inside the house. 

"Mae! Please! Come outside and talk to me!"

"Kyle, she doesn't want to talk right now."

"I want her to tell me that!" He said glaring at Scott. "Mae! Get out here!"

My tears began to become waterfalls. My nose got stuffy and my cheeks became red. 

"Go away Kyle!"

Then, as if magic… Kyle got in his car and drove away. I sat there on the couch and looked at the clock… 10:45.

I pulled up and into the parking lot. I sat in my car for a while, till a fimiiar ginger knocked on my window.

"You coming or sitting in your car all day?"

I climbed out and playfully punched his shoulder. 

"Eat any more souls?"

"Just because I'm a ginger, doesn't not mean I eat souls." He pasues. "Thirty-four." 

I giggle as me and Fritz enter the building. Children were running around laughing without a care in the world. That's when Mike walked up to me. He handed me an envelope.

"He wanted me to give you a hint."

I looked up.

"You've met him before."

Before I could ask him anything, he walked away. I looked down at the envelope. Fritz took it and looked it over.

"This doesn't look like Kyle's handwriting." 

"It's not… someone named William's."

Fritz froze and gripped my shoulders. 

"Don't open any more letters."

"Why?"

"He's someone you don't wanna mess with Mae."

I rolled my eyes and walked into the back room. I opened the letter. The cursive looked like it was rushed and sloppy.

Ever since we got on this cruise. I feel like he's hiding something from me. I think about what it might be as the warm water sprays on me from above. I wrap a towel around my body after I turn the tap off. I exit the shower, and make my way to the mirror. I stare at my reflection. what could it be? shut it brain. oh, I'm sorry for encouraging you to think for once in your life! *scoffs* "your not helping!"I reply aloud, frowning. Ugh, whatever. Maybe he wants to talk about something? I think as I put on my short off-sleeve red dress. As I exit the bathroom, I realize the room is dark and I accidentally step on something.

Rose petals. Why are petals on the floor? Then, I realize that there are candles outlining a narrow path, I follow the petals, while thinking what a waste of roses. I follow them down the room, out the door through the corridor, picking up speed now, realizing what this might be about. I keep following the candles. Through somewhat a million doors. I push past all of them, almost knocking down some of the staff, when opening them. Running past all the rooms, until it's all just a blur of the same thing repeated over and over again. Running, faster and faster. Running like I've never ran before. Until suddenly...

I stop. I'm at the bottom of some stairs. Barefoot. In front of a door. The candles stop there. The petals too. I look around. There's another candle at the top of the stairs. After debating, whether or not I should take a step forward, I place one of my feet on the first step. Then the other foot. I slowly climb the cold metallic stairs, until, I reach the top. There, next to the candle, there is a red rose, the color blood. There's a letter under the rose, I pick the rose, along with the letter in each hand. I open the letter. Open the door... if you dare! love, P it said in the handwriting I could identify ANYWHERE. Messy, yet in cursive. I hesitate, before I reach for the handle.

There he was. Pranav was standing in front of a candlelit dinner. He looks over, hearing the door creak. As I enter, a breathtaking scene lays itself in front of me. Behind my lover, and the dinner he prepared, was a moonlit ocean. That's when I realized we were on the rooftop. The darkness was lit up by a single candle, sitting on the center of the table. Around it, plates of beautifully served food was served on white ceramic plates, with silver cutlery. I took a step forward, just as Pranav did the same. There was a difference of 8 feet between us. "Jas." He said staring into my eyes, as if searching my soul. I bit back my tongue, to stop myself from tearing up. "We've been together for so many, many years. And, I just wanna say... that I love you. And I can't live without you. Nor do I wan to. So, " He said getting down on one knee, " will you spend your life with me?" I run towards him, tears streaming down my face. He gets up, right as I pounce on him, and we embrace in a hug, as he twirls me around, holding my waist. My tears mixing with his, my smile, upon his. I beautiful night was spent, as I had a ring on a finger I never knew I would have one on, and spent it in bed with my lover.

Alan is in her last year in college. Riya is the new young boss of H&M. They meet when going to their grade union party. When they see each other... something just ... clicks. Two horribly lost women enter into the adult world with a new message: Love is love.

The room she entered was small and well lit, the walls were stuffed full of various bookcases, neatly labelled in alphabetical order in cursive handwriting. There was a small desk with stacks of paper covering it and behind the mountain of pages was an oak door. The small room may have been packed to the brim but everything was meticulously tidied away, the room was perfectly clean with not even a piece of paper out of place.

When Cat stepped into the room she was instantly relieved, she saw a girl with mousy brown hair and big brown eyes fiddling with papers. It was Mouse. Thank the gods! If she wasn't here I would have literally died, thought Cat.

"Hey there Mousie!" Cat yelled at her. The girl jumped in surprise and dropped her papers in shock. "Cat! Oh my God! Don't do that to me! Argggh! You know loud noises make me super jumpy."

"Haha sorry Mousie, guess why I'm here huh? Guess, guess. I guess you know though, that's ok!" Cat said. Mouse looked at Cat strangely and sighed. "Yep he's here," She replied. Cats expression turned glum instantly.

"Damn it Mouse, I was hoping he wasn't." Cat moaned. She groaned and made her way across the room in large strides. When she passed the desk, papers flew off as she stomped passed angrily. She made her way towards the door.

"Wait, wait Cat!" Mouse yelped. Cat looked back giving a frozen glare to mouse. "Umm, umm argh. Please don't umm... " Mouse began to speak before quickly changing to silence. Cat sighed, "Sorry Mousie, I'll clean it up later after I've dealt with the devil.

"Come on, he's not that bad!" Mouse replied.

"You haven't seen what I've seen Mousie, the horrors!" Cat said ominously.

Mouse started to roll her eyes before stopping herself and glancing nervously at Cat. She shifted from foot to foot nervously then stared down at the floor. "Fine, you can come!" Cat groaned. "Just say it obviously next time! Speak up for God's sake woman, you're never gonna get anywhere in life acting like this ya know. I'm surprised someone like you is not dead in a ditch living here." Mouse avoided looking at Cat and began to tear up.

Cat entered the room. It was very different from the one before it, darkness seemed to seep in from the walls and hovered around the room like fog. The desk in the centre of the room was not tidy like Mouses. Pages were scattered around the room messily. Behind the darkness that covered the room on the wall opposite to her, you could barely see a rack of weapons on top of which were runes that glowed slightly.

Cat didn't like Fox. This wasn't saying much since almost everyone she met didn't like Fox. Even more people hated him than her. They didn't like him because he was sneaky and sly and seemed to know almost everything before they did themselves. However she didn't mind these things, she just hated his personality.

"Someones here to see you Fox." Mouse said quietly.

A tall teenaged boy with ginger hair and a cold hardened stare sat behind the desk. He was flicking through papers grumpily, obviously in a bad mood. He faced upwards when Mouse said his name and his eyes seemed to light up. "Kitty cat!" He yelled. Cat shivered. Truly terrifying. "How's your little friend doing then?" He asked with a grin. Cats eyes darkened.

"Haha, no reply? I guess that's just like you, my little kitty cat. You want me to help you turn him back, right. Ha, there's no way I'd do that for free. You, see I have a little problem I need you to solve. You scratch my back I'll scratch yours. What do you say?"

The grey area is notorious for crime. Thieves, pickpockets, burglars, murderers, assassins. It is full of us.

Crow is a thief belonging to this area. He makes his living preying on those daring souls that decide to enter the grey area. He has got hurt many times failing. However, he has never made such a big mistake.

You should never steal from a runemaster.
