She especially became scared when the teacher started to pay more attention to her. One day, when she runs from him, she falls into a world of adventure, risk, and abnormalities. 
But, her teacher is what scares her more than this new world. What secrets and schemes did he use to get her here?

A fiber of connection from miles away...



Our places on this earth are divided by oceans setting us apart from one continent to another. Several countries speaking several languages to understand each other. People with several cultures and beliefs. Different personalities and opinions.

In this chaotic world, we live in called real life we search for a place to escape from that reality. To be accepted as who or what we are. We have found that in the music we sing. In the books, we read. In the movies we watch. In the places, we travel and visit. Everywhere in which we get inspiration to face reality head-on.

We write stories or poems to inspire others, reading the words we weave from our own world. For some of us, it is simply an escape from reality into a world in which we can use our imaginations to dream make-believe or to live our secret fantasies or just plain be creative.

Getting on the web gives us more ways to share and get connected to other people with the same kind of thinking from across the ocean. Some of the people we meet along the way give us reasons to smile again. It's where we become friends, get to know them well, and get so close that we even trust them enough to share our own greatest fears.

I was a living a kind of living death when I found solace here on Stories Space. A place to write, camouflaging my hatred and sadness from myself when I was reading all the poetry and fictional fantasies created by the writers. I found another escape from reality and indulged in reading.

My feelings from my own troubles in life had made me feel so empty that only through laughter and reading could I be free and somewhat whole again.

I made my own heaven in purgatory.

A friend told me to write down all of my pains and troubles in poems or stories. Another friend of mine told me to be fierce in my poetry writing. I found friends who helped me give my own life a reason to continue living again through writing.

Writing makes me calm every time my mind gets into a panic mode. The pains and the fears of the unknown are my muses for writing.

When I met someone who understood me and made me feel needed and loved my poetry changed its tune. It made me think of happy thoughts. I got inspired by the things I saw and the happy memories of my childhood that I could write about.

Painful memories and realities were always there and so I wrote about them from time to time.

When that someone left me I continued writing. The same inner muse I had gained I used to keep on writing.

Then, out of nowhere, I got to know you. I became happy again. This time I got even more inspired and more creative, experimenting with my writings.

I set aside my shyness and reservations to write creatively. I still can't overcome some of my shyness and reservation but I am blooming, inspired by you.

You became my muse.

The man in the moon. The stars in my darkest hours. When at night I can't sleep thinking of you calms me to sleep.

The sunshine after the heavy storm. Where all the dead trees come to life again. That keeps me warm when everything gets chilly.

My own little heaven in my real life purgatory.

The rear of the building did not look quite as awful. That wasn't to say it wasn't destroyed, it was, but it left fewer things to the imagination when trying to picture how the original building looked.
The ground floor was like any classic style home. It had a large kitchen and the skeletal remains of a library, as well as a sitting room and what Rassa assumed had once been a music or entertainment hall. It was clear someone well off had once lived here. The second floor was a little less structurally intact, though seemed to have been composed of another sitting room, bathrooms and bedrooms. It was unclear what the third floor had had, but Rassa assumed there had been more bedrooms, possibly a study or two.
This was not however, going to be a home. At least, not just a home. Rassa intended for this place to one day be a way-point for him and his people, whoever and whatever they turned out to be.  As such, the first floor would be totally dedicated to the business side of things. The back half of the building would consist of offices, the library would be turned into a records room, and the front rooms would be altered to become a store of sorts for whatever Rassa wished to sell. At this stage, it would probably be Rune Crystals, but who knew what he'd come across in future.
The second floor would consist of work rooms and a large storeroom for the products. The top floor would be a living space for himself and a trusted few. It would mean the bedrooms were smaller, but it was a temporary solution at this stage, besides the fact that Rassa didn't need much to be content. 
The girl who held the most seniority amongst those living at the ruin, a dark-haired girl in her late twenties called Sharli, quickly caught on from Rassa's questions that he was not in the least bit interested in harming them. Unless of course they did something against him. She'd gotten that threat loud and clear like the others. The only member of the group who was older than her was an old blind man by the name of Tegin. Sharli said that his tree didn't go all the way to the top branch, as he often told stories about events in his life that had never actually occurred as far as she knew. Still, his stories entertained the children, of which there were many. 
Apart from Sharli's younger sister Iah, the rest of the residents were below the age of sixteen. A couple of them risked working at the docks, but the money they earned was nowhere near enough to feed the twenty-seven residents of the Ruin. 
That was what they'd affectionately called it, the Ruin. It seemed to fit, not because of the state of the building, but the state of those who lived there. They had nowhere to go, had no aspirations beyond surviving. In a state of ruin that no one seemed concerned enough to attempt to fix.
After a tour of the place, Rassa took the young Shadow Magician, a boy named Kit, out with him. He could tell the boy was burning with questions, and figured it was faster to get them over with now.
"How did you move inside the shadows?" asked Kit, "How did you make them solid enough to take weight? Have you been trained at an academy? Can I do that one day? You're not going to send me away are you? Not to be an assassin like Sharli says will happen if someone knows-"
"Slow down kid, you'll bite your tongue," Rassa smiled in amusement, "You're pretty good for your age, I don't think the Academy could teach you much. As for assassination, I personally believe shadows have their uses for more than killing".
"Like making chairs and blocking exits?" asked Kit.
Rassa smirked, "Perhaps". He bought two large baskets and handed them to the ten-year-old to hold, "Follow me".
Kit followed eagerly, as if Rassa had never appeared to be the scary entity that had threatened him and his mismatched family. In truth, Kit had felt the intent behind the shadows, they had been lethal, of course, but not out of desire, only out of necessity. Kit hadn't mentioned it to the others.
To him, this was not a form of betrayal, he trusted this new man. This new Shadow Magician. In truth, he was the only Magician Kit had ever come across apart from himself. When he'd awakened, Sharli and Iah had insisted that he stay put, that he stay quiet. They'd had many experiences in their life, and those who awakened as Magicians were always taken away. It didn't matter if they didn't desire it, training those Magicians became a necessity, it was simply a matter of who did the training. In the end, Kit had managed to stay hidden, and due to his connection with the shadows in their dark and abandoned corner of the slums, he grew to become quite skilled even without a teacher. The shadows taught him for all intents and purposes.
But still, he knew he was not powerful enough to protect the others. Not indefinitely. What would happen if someone came along that he could not scare off? His fake ghosts wouldn't do much harm. 
But this man, the one who hadn't been scared...he was an opportunity, and despite Kit's young age, the boy didn't wish to pass it up.
"Can you teach me?" asked Kit.
Rassa was looking through a stand full of vegetables when Kit spoke, and he paused to look down at the kid. Rassa didn't need their shared connection to the shadows to know the look in that kid's eyes. He'd had that look once. A determination to protect what was dear to him. That look had disappeared over the years, as he became less and less capable. He'd only just started to feel an inkling of it again here on Rouke with Aegin and Ebony. This world was big, and the potential enemies numerous. Even with all the power he'd been given, he could not guarantee the safety of those around him. Especially considering the fact that he was still learning how to use it. Rassa may have been more powerful than your average Magician, but he couldn't say the same for the truly powerful. He was supposed to be, Victor had showed him so. Especially with more than just the shadows at his command. But Rassa hadn't had the opportunity to truly let his power roam freely. Not since the night of his awakening when he'd been overflowing with the new abilities given to him. He hadn't felt as powerful as he had on that night in a while.
Because of his shortcomings, ones that he would never admit aloud, Rassa couldn't help but think that he was insufficient to teach Kit much. He'd thought of another use for this kid. Besides, Kit was not like Rassa, the shadows that Kit controlled were not necessarily as violent or bloodthirsty as Rassa's were.
"I'm not really a great teacher, but I do have an idea," Rassa said, "Something that could help your family. Something only you can do".
Kit frowned in thought for a moment, "What is it?"
"Do you understand what the Mist is, Kit?"
Rassa paid for the vegetables and moved to another stall.
"The Mist?" asked Kit.
"The dust that others can't see, the stuff that seems to sit over the world and that helps you with the Shadows," Rassa explained.
"Oh," Kit said in understanding, "I suppose I just understand it as how you described it".
Rassa paused on the edge of the crowd and took out a piece of paper from his jacket, taking a piece of charcoal from a nearby pile from an old fire, Rassa drew a circle within a circle on the paper.
"What is this picture telling you?" asked Rassa.
Kit frowned, taking the paper from Rassa and looking at the symbol for a moment before looking at Rassa, "I don't understand what-"
"Don't look with your eyes, look with the Mist," Rassa interrupted, "It will tell you if you listen".
Kit hesitated, but looked back at the symbol. After a moment, the symbol seemed to become sharp with clarity. It was not just a circle within a circle. It was a barrier around something solid, something with will. The word seemed to whisper into Kit's mind as the symbol became more and more clear, as he saw layer after layer of meaning.
"Protection," Kit said softly.
Rassa smiled, "When we get back, I'm going to get you some ink and paper, I want you to let the Mist teach you how to draw these symbols, these runes. When you can understand them as you draw them, when they have the same clarity as this one, I'll give you the next task".
"What about the shadows?" asked Kit, "Can't I learn them?"
"You've done a pretty good job on your own kid," Rassa admitted, "Unfortunately, I'm not quite the same as you so my abilities are a bit different. Perhaps one day you can do what I can, but you need to practice, to test your limits and be more creative. Maybe learning about these runes might help you with that".
"You think so?" asked Kit.
"Maybe," Rassa replied.

Despite appearances, there was once a time where monsters did not exist. Where peace and prosperity reigned over all life. But those sinful and demonic forces that had hidden themselves in the shadows just couldn't help themselves could they? They wanted a peice of that prosperity too. They wanted to taint it, corrupt it, revel in its dark side.
This is the story of a boy who was tainted. Of a boy who unintentionally bore a seed of sin and who in his naivety let it out. 
This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. 
This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night.


*This story involves an MC who has to go through a lot of hardship before he changes his moral standing to become better and stronger. As such, please expect to dislike him at times before he makes it through this period*

I am a 13 year old who loves reading .I thought that I cold give a try in writing and here I am .Never expected anyone to read my book and Thank you to all who read it.I live in India so we have English as our first language so there won't be many grammatical mistakes.We have compulsory creative writing in English so all of us are used to writing lame stories.I know currently nothing much is happening in the story but I can assure that by the weekend the story will get interesting.

what if, your marriage was not your own choice

My mom was super stoked that Kit came. In fact, she was so stoked that she got the name book. A book of names from all over the world and their definitions.



Whenever mom meets somebody she really clicks with or they have a unique name, she looks up what their name is. That way she could tell them later. Now Kitrick, is a name my mom couldn't help but see if it was in the book.



"Name book, huh. Does your mom do this much?" he asked me with a smirk.



"We don't entertain much," I replied. 



"You said that before, you know." This time, Kit's smirk upgraded to a full grin. It was contagious. No matter how much I resisted, I grinned back.



Mom rushed to her seat with the book in her hand. "Found it! It wasn't in the normal place I usually put it."



Kit only exchanged a knowing look in my direction before looking at my mom. "I'll admit, I never thought of what's in a name. Did you use that book to give Kat two first names?"



My mom's face went rigid for a moment, before focusing on Kit. "Actually, Katrina is a family name on her dad's side."



"What about Claudia?" asked Kit.



"Claudia is the female equivalent of her father's name, Claudio." My mom placed the book on the couch while she walked towards the altar we made for my father. Taking my father's picture, she hands it to Kit. In the picture, Claudio is holding me and we're both smiling in the camera.



Kit smiled as he said, "Claudio is a very handsome man."



"He was," said my mom. 



"My apologies," replied Kit nonchalantly. He handed the picture back to my mom. "May I ask how you and Claudio met?"



For a moment my mom's face looks uncertain, till she blinked. "How about this...I will tell you how Claudio and I met if I get to tell you what your name Kitrick means. Hmm?"



"Deal, but I'm making an exception and taking your word for it Mrs. Andersen. I usually get my deals in writing because my dad is a lawyer." 



My mom sticks out her hand, "I know a handshake isn't legally binding, but it shows my sincerity." Kit and my mom shook hands. Then, my mom narrows her eyes as she added, "I learned how to give a handshake by being the Mayor's assistant."



Kit raises both brows as he said, "Kat said you worked for the city but not for the Mayor himself."



"She's just got teenage angst about it is all," she replied.



"She's right here," I grumbled. "Are you going to tell Kit what his name means or what?"



Kit frowned at me before beaming at my mom. "I'd love to know what my name means."



"Okay!" exclaims mom as she opened the book of names. Mom's face leaned away from the book. "Kitrick is from an Old Norse personal name Sigtrygrr which means...True Victory."



"Seriously?!" asked Kit as he moved to sit near my mom and looked at the book too. "Well, I'll be damned. My name made it in the book!"



"The book of names is full of surprises," my mom said with a small smile, before closing the names book. "True Victory, does that sound like you, Kit?"



"Of course it is! He's on the debate team at school mama. He's also competitive." Kit blushed as he shrugged.



"It's true. Your daughter's known me for too long." My mom laughed after Kit said that.



"Hmm. A deals a deal." My mom looked at me as she asked, "Do you want to tell Kit or should I, hija?"



"You can tell him," I replied with what I hoped was an encouraging smile to match. 



"Once upon a time, there was a young lady from Colombia who moved to the United States on a work visa because she worked for a hotel chain." As my mom spoke, her eyes grew more distant. "However, she wanted to stay in the United States. So, she went through the grueling immigration process. During that process it was recommended she enroll in a free citizenship class. So, she did so she could learn about U.S. history for the citizenship test as well as the citizenship pledge of allegiance to the United States. In this immigration class, she met a young man from Denmark named Claudio Andersen." My mom's eyes went watery for a moment before adding, "Claudio told me it was love at first sight for him. For me, it was love at first laugh. So, we almost fell in love at the same time."



An expression crossed Kit's face that I never saw before it just as quickly vanished. "That's a beautiful way to meet somebody. You really know how to set the bar high Mrs. Andersen."



"Love isn't a competition, Kit. It's best you remember that," replied my mom. 



Kit sighed as he said, "The debater in me wants to prove to you otherwise. The gentleman in me knows better than to debate with my host."



My mom smirked as she said, "You're a charmer. Are you the ones bringing the flowers?"



"No Mrs. Andersen, I'm not."



"Sorry Mama, but he has a girlfriend he should be getting flowers for, already," I said.



"Oh! Does she got to school with you, hija?" she asked me.



"Yes. Her name is Rona," I replied. "She's nice."



"Rona....hmm, that's an interesting name too. Let me look it up!" My mom flipped through the name book again as I sighed. Kit seemed engrossed in this particular name search too as he looked over my mom's shoulder.



When both of them gasped at the same time, I suppressed an eye roll. "What is it?"



"Rona means light," replied Kit. "And I definitely agree with this definition."



Yes, Kit is definitely smitten.

Kit and Kat are childhood friends growing up in the United States of Arizona, a state not historically known for embracing other cultures. Will their friendship survive? Or will Kit be pulled back into his white washed world while Kat gets pulled into her safety by numbers Latino neighborhood.

Daeva after bumping with Juno, she thought that her behavior wasn't so nice. But when the school bell rings, she snapped out of it and went to her designated room for her subject. Daeva is a fourth year college student in Literature and Creative Writing. She thought of becoming a writer to write literary pieces based on her experiences. Also, she thought that becoming a writer would allow her to have a small chance of interacting with people.

When she was about to enter her room, her Professor bumped into her. Mrs. Sanchez smiled at her. Daeva greeted her good morning and Mrs. Sanchez greeted her in return.

They both entered the room and Daeva sat at the second row. Mrs. Sanchez greeted her class and began discussing a lesson about her subject. She kept blabbing in front while Daeva glanced at the window. She caught a glimpse of Juno who's about to leave the school gates. As she follows Juno with her eyes, she began to feel a sharp pain at her left forearm. She didn't bother looking at it, she knows that it's currently bleeding so she just pulled her black sleeves lower. She returned her attention to her discussing professor and listens to her.

A couple of subjects passed then Daeva's lunch break arrived. She quickly ate at the cafeteria before going to the library. The school's library was enormous. It's also where the book club is rooming. Daeva is a member of the Book club and happens to be a good friend of Kevin, the Book club's president. When Daeva came in, she found Kevin fixing books that weren't returned to the proper shelve. She just picked up some books that were left at the tables and did the same. There weren't too much people in the library for now so she started casually chatting with Kevin.

"Hey Kev, you seem frustrated... What's wrong??" asked Daeva.

"Student School Council Vice President...She destroyed my morning." said Kevin casually.

"What did she do to you?" Daeva felt curious.

"Oh nothing...She just shuted me out... refusing to do some student council duties...or simply take the proposal and leave it to miss President's table... That's all..." Kevin replied.

Daeva didn't asked further what happened...But then, she felt like the person who she bumped with earlier at the hall way was the Vice President.

"The Vice President, was she the campus belle I keep hearing about." Daeva asked.

"Hmm? Yeah, that's her...Why, what's up?" asked Kevin as he finished arranging the books.

"I think she's the pretty blonde girl I bumped with this early morning. She wasn't really polite." Daeva said as she scratches the area where she felt pain while staring at Juno.

Kevin saw Daeva scratched her forearm right bellow her palm. He looked at Daeva with malicious intent. His lips curved up at one side. He then grab Daeva's hand and brought her to the school's clinic. Daeva didn't resisted and just followed Kevin.

The nurse was currently out of the clinic so Daeva's forearm can be treated. She pulled her sleeve up and let Kevin treat her wound. Kevin cleaned the blood off and covered it with bandage. When he was done, Daeva thanked Kevin and they came back to the library. 

There, while Daeva was waiting for her next class like Kevin, they decided to read a book. Daeva picked a random fantasy book while Kevin opened his laptop and read about demons.

"Let's go home together later and just order pizza for dinner, what do you say?" Kevin offered to Daeva.

Daeva just nodded, it's not very often that they go home together. Daeva and Kevin are roommates and oftentimes, Daeva gets home first before Kevin because of his club president duties.

Almost an hour have passed and Kevin closed his laptop. It's time for his next class, Daeva still have over half an hour before her next subject so Kevin just left her. When Kevin left the library, the atmosphere in the library became gloomy. Anyone who's in there felt uncomfortable, some left but some ignored it. Daeva is feeling a bit irritated but what can she do? She can't get rid of them...never...

Daeva kept reading until its just 15min left before her next class. She stood up from her sit and returned the book into one of the shelves. She felt a hand caressed her cheek and hear a chuckle. Daeva ignored it and left the library.

When she's out of the library, she can feel that someone ran "its" fingers on her hair. Her mouth was twitching, slowly forming a malicious grin. She covered her mouth with her hands, then, she took out a face mask from her pants's pocket and covered her grin. She went to her next class as if nothing had happened.

She still have 2 subjects left for her to survive. Her 3rd subject for the day passed as if it was a filler chapter of her day. Nothing very interesting occurred nor the class. But on her final subject of the day: Creative Writing, the class was given an activity and that is to write a poem. The poem have no specific theme but should be rhyming.

Writing poems weren't a problem for Daeva at all. She doesn't limit herself when it comes to writing and its subject. She writes what's in her mind and what she feels. They we're given an hour and when they were done, they are then dismissed. Daeva finished after 30min, she's always the first one to finish. As she passed her work and leaves the room, her professor Mr.Wilson gave her work a read.

This is a collection of different stories but all told by one person, Daeva. A mysterious young woman who's always very reserved and isolated from everyone. You may approach her like anyone else but beware...

This is a horror/suspense story...please read with caution. You might not be able to sleep at night with lights off and open doors and windows.

TAHIMIK na pinagmasdan ni Klarissa si Kit na abala sa pagsasagot sa exam nito na ginawa niya. Paulit ulit pa din tumatakbo sa isip niya ang eksena nang nagdaang gabi at yung kanina na tumama sa kamay niya ang mukha ni Mr. Morales. Hindi niya magawang ipaliwanag kung ano yung pakiramdam na naramdaman niya kanina. Sunod sunod siya napailing. Nakuha nang ginawa niya ang atensyon ni Kit.



"Are you okay, Miss Hernandez?" tanong nito sa kanya.



"Yes I am. Tapos ka na ba dyan?" Tumango lang ito saka inabot na sa kanya ang mga sinagutan nitong exam. Napatingin siya sa orasan niya. May isang oras pa bago ang nakatakda niyang uwi. Nakangiti siyang tumingin dito. "Tara sa hide out natin?"



"Sige po!" Puro exam lang ang nasa schedule ni Kit para sa araw na iyon. Nasagutan naman nito ang lahat ng exam kaya tingin niya na ayos lang na magpahangin silang dalawa sa hide out nila. Hindi na iyon pinaalis pa ni Kit doon at na-kwento nito sa kamya na kapag nalulungkot ito ay doon ito napunta.



"Bakit minsan malungkot ka, Kit? You have everything naman dito sa bahay. May toys ka, gadgets at ganito,"



Umupo si Kit sa tabi saka sumandal sa dibdib niya. "I don't have a mom whom I can hug like this," 



Natikom niya ang bibig niya nang masabi iyon ni Kit. Ramdam niya sa tinig palang nito ang lungkot. Lumaki itong walang ina at kung anong dahilan ay hindi niya alam. Hindi naman niya kasi ugaling magtanong tungkol sa mga gano'ng personal na bagay. Saka matapos ng sagutan nila ni Mr. Morales nung first day niya, nangingimi na siyang magtanong pa. Ayaw na niyang masigawan na naman dahil lang sa pagtatanong.



"I don't know what my mom looked like, Miss Hernandez. Sabi po ni Manang maganda si mommy pero hanggang doon lang. Nagagalit kasi si daddy kapag po nadidinig niya kaming nag-uusap tungkol sa mommy ko," wika nito sa kanya.



Nangunot ang noo niya. "Nagagalit ang daddy mo?"



"Opo, Miss Hernandez." Bahagya niya itong nilayo sa kanya at doon nakita niya na may naglandas na palang mga luha sa pisgi nito. Pinahiran niya iyon saka pilit itong pinapangiti.



"Don't cry, Kit. Whenever your mom is, I know she's watching you," 



"Talaga po?"



"Oo saka baka tama si Manang na maganda ang mommy kasi gwapo ka, ang pula nitong mga pisngi mo at ang ganda ng mga mata mo,"



Nakita niya ang pagsimangot nito. "I take all that you mention from daddy,"



"Eh?"



"Opo. Do you want to see my daddy's baby picture and mine?" 



Nakangiti habang nagsasalita dahilan para lalo itong maging cute sa paningin niya. Tumango siya kaya agad siyang hinila nito papasok sa bahay. Sabay nila tinalunton ang daan papunta sa study room ni Mr. Morales. Namangha siya sa dami ng librong naroroon. Nang sipatin niya, napansin niyang bawat titulo ay naka-alphabetical na ayos. Pantay pantay din ang mga gamit na nakapatong sa working table nito.



Is he has ocd syndrome? Grabe sobrang ayos ng gamit niya… bulong niya sa isipan.



"Miss Hernandez, eto po, oh," sigaw sa kanya ni Kit. Tinulungan niya itong kuhain ang dalawang photobook sa ibaba ng paper rack. Dinala nila iyon papunta sa sofa at doon sila sabay na naupo. "Look at this po. This is me and this is daddy."



Muntik na malaglag ang panga niya nang makita sobrang magkamukha nga talaga ang mag-ama. Mula sa pisngi na mamula mula, sa ilong, hanggang sa mga mata. Napatingin siya kay Kit ulit. "Magkamukhang magkamukha nga kayo,"



"Sabi ko na po sa 'yo eh," anito sa kanya. Patuloy niya pinagmasdan ang mga larawan ni Mr. Morales mula ng baby ito hanggang sa magbinata ito. Kapansin pansin na mas angat ang kagwapuhan nito kapag nakangiti ito. "Hindi ko po alam ano nakuha ko kay mommy."



Muli siya napatingin kay Kit. "Alam ko na kung ano nakuha mo sa mommy mo,"



"Talaga po? Ano po 'yun?"



"Ugali. Mabait ka saka palangiti at sigurado akong gano'n din mommy mo,"



"Nagsmile din naman si daddy minsan,"



Umiling siya. "Ang seryoso kaya niya, lagi pa nakakunot ang noo, saka yung tingin niya nakakasunog ng pagkatao at nakakakilabot." Tumatawang tiningnan siya ni Kit. "Saka palagi nakasimangot ang daddy mo." Patuloy na tumawa si Kit at tila musika sa tainga niya iyon. Isang tikhim ang nagpahinto sa kanilang pagku-kwentuhan na dalawa. Paglingon niya, nakita niya sina Ms. Tanya, Mr. Altamirano at Mr. Morales. Bakas sa mukha nina Ms. Tanya at Mr. Altamirano na nagpipigil na tumawa ang mga ito habang si Mr. Morales, seryoso at nakakaliyo ang tingin nito sa kanya.



"Tita Tanya!" sigaw ni Kit saka sinugod ng yakap ang human resource director ng MSC.



"Hey, boss baby, I'm here also," ani Mr. Altamirano kay Kit. Nakipaghigh five lang ang bata dito at nanatiling nakayakap kay Ms. Tanya.



"Kit, I told you not to enter this room, right?" seryosong sabi ni Mr. Morales sa anak nito.



"Sorry, daddy…" Mahinang sambit ni Kit.



"Its okay sweetie. Nasa baba sina Aicel, Carl at Marga, puntahan mo na sila at maglaro kayo," wika ni Ms. Tanya kay Kit saka pinalabas na ito doon. Matama naman niyang inayos ang kinuha nilang photobook at binalik iyon sa pinagkuhaan nila ni Kit.



"Uhmm, labas na ako," aniya saka tuloy tuloy na lumabas. Alam niyang swerte siya ngayon dahil may kasama si Mr. Morales. Kung wala, malamang ay ginisa na naman siya nito. Sigurado naman kasi siyang nadinig nito ang mga sinabi niya. Sa klase palang nang pagkakatingin nito sa kanya kanina, nakakatakot na. Napa-antanda tuloy siya pagkalabas na pagkalabas sa kwarto. 



I should pray for my soul tonight para ready na ako bukas… aniya sa isipan.




PABAGSAK na naupo si Alfred sa swivel chair niya habang sina Tanya at Sixto naman ay magkasabay na naupo sa mabahang sofa sa harap niya. Bakas pa din sa mukha ng dalawa ang pigil na tawa ng mga ito. Pilit niya inignora ang mga iyon saka binukas ang kanyang laptop.



"The only girl that can say those words. Naka-jackpot ka talaga, Tanya. Thanks for hiring Miss Hernandez," ani Sixto saka tumawa. Napuno ng tawa nito ang buong study room niya. "Hindi ako maka-get over sa tingin mo na daw na nakakasunog ng pagkatao,"



"Shut up, Altamirano!" Sigaw niya sa kaibigan.



"You found your match, Alfred James Morales," sabi naman sa kanya ni Tanya.



"This is your fault, Tanya. You shouldn't hired her." Nasapo niya ang kanyang noo. "You heard those words she told to Kit,"



"Stop blaming, my Tanya," sabat ni Sixto. He just glared at him. Gano'n din ang ginawa ni Tanya dito. Complicated ang sitwasyon nina Tanya at Sixto. Kahit may tatlong anak na ang mga ito ay hindi pa din magawang magpakasal ng dalawa. Wala kasi sa bokabolaryo ni Sixto ang pagseseryoso.



"Perfect fit nga siya na maging tutor ni Kit. Saka totoo naman lahat ng sinabi niya. Try loosing up, Fred. Masyado ka nga masungit at seryoso. Baka kapag nagsoften yung facial expression mo, mas maging affectionate na sayo si Kit,"



"I second the motion," ani Sixto.



"Shut up, Altamirano. I don't need your opinion," wika niya. Nakita niyang hinampas ito ni Tanya. Nakaka-awa talaga sa kanilang magpinsan si Sixto. 



"I never heard Kit laughed like the he laughed awhile ago." Tanya looked intently to his eyes. "Its indeed a love at first sight for Kit. Sobra itong malapit kay Klarissa,"



"Wait, Klarissa ang name ni Miss Hernandez?" May pagtataka sa tinig ni Sixto.



"Oo. Bakit?" tanong ni Tanya dito. "She's Maria Klarissa Hernandez."



"Coincidence lang ba ito, Alfred? Kit's mom's full name is Maria Arissa Francisco." Seryoso siyang tumingin dito. "What if –" Hindi na natuloy pa ni Sixto ang sasabihin niya. He stood up and turn his back on them. It can't be. Wala nang pamilya si Arissa at nakumpirma niya iyon noong araw na mamatay ito. 



"Stop writing a novel, Sixto Altamirano!"

Her heart had been blue while his heart had been borrowed. Will they entertain that magnetic force called love again?

Buong buhay ni Klarissa ay ginugol na niya sa pagta-trabaho para sa pamilya niya. Kaya naman nang may mas malaking offer sa kanya ay agad niya tinanggap iyon. Lahat kasi ng bagay kahit kapalit pa noon ang pansarili niyang kaligayahan ay gagawin niya para sa pamilya niya. Ngunit ng makilala niya ang boss niya na ubod ng gwapo at hot ay parang gusto na niyang umatras sa laban. Hindi kasi kasama ang puso niya ngayon sa dapat niya problemahin. Ngunit anong gagawin niya kung hindi niya magawang kontrahin ang puso niya?

Lifeless, iyon si Alfred matapos mamatay ng pinakamamahal niyang babae. Breathing but not living. Bahay at trabaho lang ang araw araw na routine niya. Naiwan sa kanya ang tanging alaala ng kanilang pagmamahalan. Si Kit - ang ten years old niyang anak na tanging nagpapagaan sa loob niya. Ngunit gano'n pa 'man tila may kulang pa din. Hindi pa din bumabalik ang kulay sa mundo niya. Kaya nang dumating sa buhay nilang mag-ama si Klarissa ay nayanig ang mundo nila. Sa isang iglap, natagpuan na lamang niya ang sarili na nahuhulog dito. Si Klarissa na ang kanyang bagong simula?

World Map: The link for the world map will be in the comments as you can't copy and paste text within webnovel. The world has 3 continents Drago, Kingdar, Faltro. And there are multiple countries however there are 4 main ones. Read the story to find out why they're the main ones. They're named Yelgard, Relgraw, Veldrey and Camelot.
Also why the names are written weird on the map is explained in the 3rd chapter (sorta) but it's basically the writing system of Xaltrey is English but fancily written because I'm not creative.
History of Xaltrey: Read the book. That's the juicy stuff. I can't give it away yet. However it hasn't been revealed yet as I'm writing but eventually.
