Noah Asher Cortez, an amateur freelance photographer, was invited to a three week vacation with his best friend Lester. Checked-in on a cozy boutique hotel, there he meets Lena. Lena, a beautiful, mysterious, moody girl. The girl that will change his life forever.

A gentle breeze swept over the peaceful, sleeping village of Agartha, dancing around. It was just another lovely night in the wonderous village of Agartha, but the breeze felt...different, unsure, nervous, unusual…

A young girl lay awake in her cozy musk ox fur bed. She rapidly sat up and rubbed her eyes; she could feel that change was coming, and fast.

Meanwhile…
Far up in the Eye of the Eagle, a figure trekked through the knee deep snow, looking for a very specific something. The wind howled in despair, and the snow flew, making the journey very hard. 

After a while of battling with the alpine's wrath, the figure spotted a cave and rushed towards it, and peeked in. Inside the cave, was a glorious light which came from crystals all over the walls, and illuminated the cave in a lovely way. The figure entered slowly and looked around the cave. At the back of the cave, in the center, was a lovely dahlia, with vibrant petals. It's powerful aura filled the cave, and the figure raced over to it. White hands slowly reached out and raised the flower gently. A rush of power swept through the cave, and the cave went black went black.

Angor was brought to Elixir Hut before sunrise.
At first, he felt uneasy since he didn't know what Mithra wanted… until they started discussing alchemy knowledge in a really relaxed mood. Mithra was an Apothecary alchemist who also knew a little about Tooling. In fact, Angor realized the old man's "subfield" was already way more cultured than him.
Gradually, Angor forgot about his precious concerns and grew indulged in the discussion. It was basically Mithra who did all the talking since Angor's enchantment knowledge was quite useless to Mithra.
Angor found himself greatly enlightened after receiving all kinds of Tooling advice from Mithra. When the sun appeared on the horizon, Mithra suddenly asked a question, "Are you interested in studying Apothecary?"
Angor was definitely interested. He had a full collection of Apothecary textbooks saved inside his tablet. However, the subject required great time and effort in which Angor couldn't spare any. He was planning to fulfill his promise and save Jon first before attempting more subjects. Wizards all had extended lives. Angor thought enchantment was enough to cover his expenses as an apprentice.
When Mithra saw Angor nodding, he smiled. "You don't have to pick it up now. But since we have a lot of time, I'll talk about the general idea of Apothecary."
A lot of time?
Angor felt something strange about those words, but he didn't think much since he was going to learn something new.
As a master Apothecary, Mithra filled his lesson with comprehensive intelligence and interesting insights. Soon, Angor established his own frame of the subject in his mind like a growing tree.
Just like Tooling, Apothecary also came in different branches. However, it came with unique "school" systems.
There was the Van Der Waals School that classified materials according to the ways they worked, such as monomeric materials, mixed materials, and extraction ones.
The Gypsy School arranged potions according to properties including potions which exerted smells, Witch Stews, and water-soluble potions.
The Reformer School split potions into three basic forms—gaseous, liquid, and solid.
There were also other strange schools that might allocate potions by their effects, their superclass, or their drawbacks. Some even regarded the colors and their places of origin to be important factors.
Just like Tooling, the different schools of Apothecary all contributed their own ideas and thoughts to the general subject. However, the different schools of Tooling mostly agreed on one basic rule, where there were generally two paths for Tooling—Enchantment and Synthesis. For this reason, Tooling alchemists wouldn't usually consider their differences when talking.
But Apothecary was different. Apothecary schools tend to regard the others as "lesser, incompetent ones". People all clung to their home school. In fact, the potions they produced all had similar effects. Before Apothecaries started talking to each other, they usually had to ascertain which school everyone came from and base their further conversations on it. Otherwise, a spar of words would soon follow.
Mithra belonged to Reformers who only divided potions according to their physical states. Anything that fell outside the three basic forms would be considered "others".
While explaining the ideas of Reformers, Mithra also mentioned things worth learning or avoiding, which was related to most of the known schools. Angor was glad to receive the extensive lessons.
Apart from bloodshed and bodily assaults, wizards also waged wars in the field of academics.
"My book collection contained detailed knowledge about potions, so I'll not trouble you here. Head to my library when you have time. I'll let you in for free."
Again, Angor felt strange when receiving Mithra's generosity.
Mithra wasn't any ordinary wizard; he was a master alchemist who was respected by many. Therefore, when he started to treat Angor like an old friend, Angor felt concerned by it.
All the while, Mithra acted in a way like a friendly mortal old man who would tell stories to kids rather than an experienced wizard who had seen enough of this world.
This is strange… Angor thought in his mind. Knowledge is priceless to wizards. Why would he let me in his personal library just like this? 
Mithra managed to read Angor's mind. Since he couldn't explain it, the old man could only reveal a bitter smile.
It was only a matter of time for Sunders to meet up with Angor. As Bogula's former teacher, Mithra was trying his best to soothe the boy's mood before something serious happened.
But in truth, Mithra was overreacting. It was true that Bogula "imprisoned" Angor in his base for several days. However, the days weren't as terrible as what he thought.
The old man saw Angor still doubting something and decided to change the topic. "You once reached out to Mystery energy, right? Take a look at this potion."
From his dimensional storage, Mithra took out an oval-shaped glass sphere.
Instantly, Angor sensed something familiar from it. His attention was fully attracted by the particular object, and all his concerns were gone.
Any mortal or wizard would see the sphere as a common object, but in Angor's eyes, the object was glowing, and at the same time, grasping his attention like a magnet.
"This is Mystery energy…" Angor mumbled. It was the same thing he felt when he crafted Prelude to Rebirth in Dark Castle.
Through the sphere, he could see faint water ripples flowing inside while releasing insignificant blue light.
"As I expected, you noticed the Mystery trace before I trigger it." Mithra sighed and added, "I failed to notice the trace when I set my eyes on it for the first time. It is true that you once connected with Mystery energy." 
Mithra seemed envious as he continued, "It's extreme luck bestowed by the gods or something alike. Since you already recognized Mystery energy, it won't take long for you to find it again."
Angor scratched his head at the sudden complimentary words.
"Mister Mithra, are there Mystery Potions too?"
"Yes. Potions are products of alchemy as well. This sphere contained a Mystery Potion called 'Gaze of the Wise'."
"Can we drink this stuff?"
"Remember, all potions are for consuming, yet we have different ways for that. You can sniff at something to consume it or wrap your spirit feelers around something. Of course, drinking is one basic way.
"Of course you can consume a Mystery Potion. Sometimes you don't have to exhaust the potion to consume it. Such is the case for 'Gaze of the Wise'. You may look at it to use the potion. It will never go away as long as you don't break the container," Mithra explained.
"I can… consume the potion by looking at it?" Angor widened his eyes in shock. Then he tried to see how it felt like by consuming something with his eyesight.
Mithra chuckled. "You can't do it without me activating the potion first. Besides, it doesn't benefit you. This potion bestows a special effect on someone's eyes for a short time. You don't have what it takes to endure the powerful effect right now."
Angor scratched his head again.
"So it works like using an eye-related spell?"
Mithra chuckled again. "Do you think a common spell can compete with Mystery properties?"
"But there are 'useless' Mystery Items, right?"
"Useless, maybe. But they are still Mystery Items. I once found some notes that belonged to a deceased Mystery alchemist. They said that every Mystery Item existed for a reason. People find something useless because they failed to learn how to properly use it." Mithra shrugged and said, "Such is the reason why certain Mystery Items sit in someone's cabinet to collect dust."
Angor wondered if, from now on, he should simply grab any Mystery Item he ran into regardless of their effect.
"And it's no easy task to let a disregarded item shine again," Mithra continued. "Maybe the item isn't meant for humans but an unknown creature living thousands of planes apart. In that case, you may as well consider the item useless since you'll never ascertain its true value."
Slowly, Angor began to learn a lot about "Mystery" from Mithra as well.
When the bright sunlight brightened the cozy room, Yeliya interrupted their speech and brought Toya inside. "Now now, you've been talking for an entire night. Have some of my milk sandwich bread."
The bread slices were all made in the shape of a kitten face. This was obviously to entertain Toya.
As a milk lover, Angor tried very hard to maintain his "serious persona". After a bit of pretended courtesy, he slowly picked up his share.
However, something else happened before he could enjoy the snack. Someone pushed the room door open.
Against the strong sunlight outside, Angor could only see a handsome figure, who was shrouded in a golden rim, standing at the door.


A young traveler who receives enlightenment from another civilization is on a mission to save his beloved mentor. Raze felt the chilling gales slapping his face. He sensed threatful vibes from the woman shrouded in a golden visage. 

While for the mystery lady, she readied her floating weapon above, as she was about to toss a phalanx pike at Raze. 

Neither of them took another step. Both of them were anticipating each others movements. In turn, the whole air turned very intense with frozen winds.

Raze heard gentle footsteps afterwards. 

The woman giggled,

"Hm-hm!"

Then, she had stopped pointing her humongous golden blade at Raze. 

Soon, he witnessed that the charming Destruct appeared from the the shadows.

Destruct waved his hand as a gesture to Raze,

"Hello there dear cousin of mine!"

Raze's eyes were very much caught with surprise,

"Destruct?!"

When Raze took a glance of what Destruct was holding on his right hand, Raze saw something gruesome. There, Raze was almost about to puke as Destruct was carrying a decapitated head of an elven man. Though, Raze was still caught with suspicion and pointed at the bloody head,

"Isn't that?!"

Destruct nodded with a grin,

"As a matter a fact yes."

He raised and revealed the decapitated head high,

"This is one of the REVELAS chieftain's head."

Raze gulped, while his forehead was dripping with sweat, 

"S-so that'd mean?!"

Destruct nodded once again,

"Yes, his assualt unto your village has been thwarted."

When Raze heard those words from his cousin, Raze was filled with relief and sheathed his blade back,

"I see, guess you defeated him."

Destruct went beside the golden hooded mystery lady. Then, he patted her shoulder as they were an item,
 
"I didn't defeat him, this woman right here beside me defeated him."

Raze felt nervous as he heard how brutal the woman hidden under the golden hood was. 

Though, the grinning Destruct didn't mind Raze's shock and he continued on with his statements,

"She said that this Revelas chieftain had some sort of strange weapon. That made her to irk its presence. And with that."

In a snap, Destruct went close to Raze's left ear,

"I must thank you for finding her for me before."

Then, Destruct returned to his previous position and patted the mystery woman's shoulder once again,

"Without this beautiful, but dangerous woman by my side, I wouldn't be able to stop him.

Raze just assumed and facepalmed with a non-chalant look,

"And my village and my family would've been ravaged instead right?"

Destruct just didn't react to Raze's statements. Later, Destruct heard the cries of the night owl nearby. Thereupon, he just bid his farewells to Raze in an elegant manner,

"It's getting late, we must take our leave now"

Then, Destruct and the woman went north through the forest basked in midnight. 

Raze was now left alone in the middle of the dense forest. The winds were no longer howling, but the sky was still dark. While he was heading back to his humble viallge, he was absorbed in his thoughts,

"So my own mistake saved me."

He facepalmed as his eyes were filled with guilt,

"But still, I'm very sorry for what I did to you, my cousin Genocide."

Xiera and Xola who were waiting outside the village noticed that their husband came back through the woods. Thereon, the twin wives were no longer filled with worries. They approached him afterwards,

"Raze!"

Raze took witness of his two identical wives in front of him, so he changed his guilt-filled look with a smile,

"Oh it's you two. Is everyone safe?"

Xiera nodded,

"Yes, everyone is safe, and nothing strange here happened to be honest."

Then, Xola joined in-next,

"We were about to go outside when we heard a strong smack from the forest."

Raze was disturbed inside his mind,

"That strong I see."

Not much soon, the three of them returned to their cozy home as it was already past midnight. Their bodies were now relaxing on the huge bed. 

Once more, Raze was looking at the ceiling with a prized chandelier above, since he doesn't want to sleep yet.

The twin endearing wives touched their husband's chest and locked their sweet stares at him,

"Are you relieved now dear?"

Raze replied with a nice smile,

"Yeah."

Xola and Xiera sensed that Raze was no longer bothered in his hazy thoughts, so they didn't bother him anyomre. Although, they still had their locked stares at him. 

Raze was a little disturbed when he saw their devious smiles,

"Now why are you two looking at me like that?"

They caressed his chin with their soothing hands,

"You already know that, our beloved,

Suddenly, Xola and Xiera popped out their huge wings similar to bats behind their sexy back. Not only that, they revealed slimy tails and black demon horns from the abyss. 

Raze even took notice that his wives were now dressed in bold cosmic black lingeries that exposed and amplified their delicious goods. 

Their succulent breasts and amazing hourglass body would give anyone a sight of engagement. All in all, their true forms would make anyone swirl their minds beyond the divine walls and nether gates.

Raze remembered something,

The alarm went crazy shouting but the owner of that machine was still sleeping shamelessly without noticing her poor servant. It was the third time the alarm screamed using all of its HP. That was an everyday picture of Anna's house. She lives alone in a 1400 square feet apartment which was neatly designed by her. Every inch of her interior had a childish and cozy vibe. This was designed a long time ago, when she was eighteen or nineteen.
 
Then she was a sweet, cheery young girl. And now she is a grown woman. That was not the only difference between her younger and older version. She is more mature now, but the thing that never changed was her home. It reminded of her beautiful past which she thought she would forget one day. But it was her character to never forget the did. She wanted to keep her past memories as a bittersweet story of her life. 

Finally, Annabelle woke up from a phone call. She had to pick it up because the different set ringtone reminded her that it's her friend Kiera calling. Kiera wasn't her best friend, but she was the only friend that Annabelle had for the past 3 years and she was the only person she considers to keep in touch. 
"Anna! For God's sake! Today's the submission date! Did you post it or not?"
Kiera's shouting made Annabelle take her phone five inches far from her ears. 
"Aigho, why are you shouting in the early morning? You are gonna damage my ears too."
"Don't talk nonsense Anna, If you are going to keep this up, I will refuse the publisher and declare that you are never gonna submit your novel to them!"
"Hey! Don't do that. Ok, don't panic. Let me grab something to eat and then I will just post it right away." 
"Yeah, just hurry up."

Kiera put down her telephone receiver with a loud bang. Annabelle could understand her impatience. It was the fifth time that the submission date was set. She finished writing her novel a long time ago. But she was in a dilemma whether she should post it or not. 
Not long ago, Annabelle started writing in an online verified free novel website just to kill time. She wanted to be a writer when she was 5. But that was long forgotten among her big and ambitious dreams that until now she wasn't able to remember that tiny dream of hers. So, she started writing as an old hobby and posted her short stories on that free website. But it was totally unexpected to her when she saw huge responses and followers of her short stories. Kiera said that she had this talent from childhood but never tried to give this path a chance. She also said to pursue her new career as a writer. On the other hand, Annabelle didn't want to use her talent as a profession but just to use it as a hobby. So, Anna returned Kiera's proposal of being a writer.
It was settled. But maybe The God wished for something else. Annabelle's writings were able to pique interest in many publishers. They found her Email on that website and started to bug her for writing a fanfic or romantic novel. Even the biggest publishing company of the country sent her a proposal for writing any kind of novel.
So, it made Kiera to poke Anna for writing something new. Kiera knew Annabelle very well. After all she was her previous manager. After quitting from her previous career, Kiera became her close friend. Since then, Kiera is like her mother. She not only knew her likes-dislikes but also knew how to handle her. So, she somehow managed to pursue Anna and finally Anna began to write her new novel with a new story. This time it was a mystery novel about a boy and his experiences of his dramatic life. Despite being muddled in mystery, that guy still led a carefree life. A life that makes normal people envy. Annabelle wanted to portray her own character in that ML. Because she was another example of that carefree character as she witnessed so many ups and downs in her life just like him. But still, she loved her life so much. And that was the never changing fact for her.

"Everybody says writers create stories..... but I don't believe that. I believe writers have their own stories which help them to become actual writers," Annabelle spelled those words fearlessly.
There was nothing that could stop her to move forward, to stop her to make her own story. 
Anna threw the microphone she was holding and came down from the stage just to find her story, that guy who was standing backstage with his eyes fixed on her. Yes, he was her story. Then again, he is the only man she can ever make a story with. A story that is she obsessed with all along.
He kissed her passionately and whispered to her, "Let's make a story that holds us together, my love."

A crashed princess and an unknown prince charming fell in love with each other so madly, that's how their love story worked!

Its a stormy grey day here in New Orleans. Clouds rumbling, heavy rain pouring down my best friend's car window. A perfect day to return from class and plant our butts on a cozy sofa under warm blankets with popcorn and netflix. 
Josh and i have been friends since pre school. We met when i once fell into a puddle after a bully shoved me and my pink tights were completely soaked as well as my yellow sweater. Josh found me that day, he helped me up, wrapped my shivering body in his jacket and helped me to the teacher's office. From that day on we became partners in crime. 

Now it's almost 10 years later, both of us are 17 and still single pringles. People think we are a thing but we're just super close. Both of us know that there could be nothing more between us, i think...


"Which movies do you want to watch tonight Ams? "  that's his nickname for me, Ams. 

"Maybe a mystery thriller? Ooooooh or something spooky? " 


"Ok just as long as i get to choose the movie, cause your choices suck"

The night went pretty well, Josh and me snuggled up against each other on a couch. It was kinda chilly so i fetched us some hot cocoa and blankets before the movie started. The move wasn't bad, it wasn't good either.


"Wouldn't it be cool if we had the ghost thingy at our disposal whenever our enemies were near? " Josh asked inbetween yawns.

"Yeah it would be pretty great" so i thought....

"You know what else would be great? " he asked. "Us" at that moment he fell asleep

Us? What does he mean by 'Us'? 

I stood up from the couch and lifted his legs from the floor so they were also on the couch. 
He sure is handsome, he looks like an angel when he's asleep. Any girl would be lucky to have him, I'm just not sure that that girl is me. 

I kissed him on the forehead and went upstairs to my own comfy bed.

Days turned into weeks. Li Nuxie remained hole up inside her house. This has caused Li Chanying and Hong Chi's eye bags to upgrade on a heavier scale.

 Hong Chi was pacing back and forth in the living room, biting her red fingernails. Li Chanying rolled her eyes as she munched peanuts.

 "Peanuts are more delicious than red nails, you know," Li Chanying commented in between bites.

 Hong Chi put her nails away from her mouth. "Why don't you hack Xiexie's security system?" she suggested.

 "Do you want Xiexie to hack my head, then?"

 Slumping down on the sofa, Hong Chi sighed while tugging her hair. "I hope I don't wake up one of these days to a news that Xiexie confronted that Xu Wei," she glanced at Li Chanying who raised her head, mouth opened, as she tried to catch the peanuts she threw in the air.

 "Anyway, how is Xu Wei related to Xu Ming?"

 Li Chanying shrugged. "According to Xiexie, he is Xu Ming's best friend."

 "They have the same surname?" Hong Chi raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure he is not a relative?"

 "Whether Xu Wei is a relative or not, it is not wise to delve into the Xu Family's affairs," Li Chanying opened her mouth and put a mouthful of peanuts. 

 Hong Chi remained silent. The Xu Family valued their privacy more than anything else. Even the First Young Master Xu continued to be a mystery, with only a few people who knew his identity. As the Young Lady of Hong Family, she has the opportunity to meet people from higher echelon in City S. However, the First Young Master Xu was not included in the people she had met.

 The next day, Hong Chi's fear came true. 

 The ringing of the phone pulled Hong Chi from her sleep. With eyes still closed, she reached out for phone on the bedside table. "Hello?"

 "Chi! Have you seen the news?" Li Chanying's voice reached her ears.

 "Not yet," she groaned. "What news?"

 "Xiexie is on the news!"

 Hong Chi's ears went ringing. "Come again?"

 "I said Xiexie is on the news!"

 The drowsiness deserted Hong Chi completely. Pulling a drawer from her bedside cabinet, she got the tablet. She opened it and scrolled down her social media account. She fell from her bed as soon as she saw the picture. 

 "Have you seen it now?" Li Chanying asked.

 Hong Chi didn't answer. She stared at her tablet's screen. Indeed, it was Li Nuxie's picture. She stood in front of a man, wearing a blindfold. Although her profile was not clear, anyone who knew Li Nuxie will know that she was the one in the picture.

 She wore a white loose shirt and skinny jeans. The man was kissing Li Nuxie's forehead while they were standing amid a group of children. The picture was accompanied with a caption that made Hong Chi's jaw dropped. Her breath was hitched. 

 'First Young Master Xu getting cozy with unknown woman!'

 It was accompanied by a small write up. 

 'Is First Young Master Xu getting married? In a picture taken weeks ago in Country P, the First Young Master Xu was seen getting cozy with an unknown woman. Who is this woman? Is she the next Empress of City S, the future Young Madam of Xu Family? We are open to hear the side of First Young Master Xu.'

 "Hong Chi! Why aren't you answering?" Li Chanying asked frantically.

 Taking a deep breath, Hong Chi gripped her phone tightly. "Xu Wei is the First Young Master Xu?"

 "It seems so," Li Chanying agreed. "Do we need to make preemptive measures?"

 Hong Chi stood up from the floor and walked towards her walk-in closet. "Meet me in front of Xiexie's house in twenty minutes," she told her before hanging out.

 Meanwhile, Li Nuxie was not aware of the commotion she created among the elites of the City S. She was currently in her bathtub, sipping her coffee. The aroma lingered inside the bathroom, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The wind chimes swayed along the wind, the sound it emitted decreased the stress that was eating Li Nuxie's mind.

She still cannot forget what Xu Wei had done to her. She took a deep breath. She cannot let her anger took over her reason.

 At the Li Ancestral House, Liu Lanzhi threw a figurine against the wall. It was a good thing that most of the rooms in the ancestral house were soundproof. Still not contented, she picked up her phone and threw it against the wall, bouncing and eventually falling on the carpeted floor. Her chest rose and fell with rapid breaths as she clenched her fists. Closing her eyes, she picked up her phone from the floor.   

Liu Lanzhi dialed a phone number. After the second ring, someone picked up. "I will send you a picture. Investigate the woman in it," Liu Lanzhi ordered before hanging up. She tightened her grip on her phone as malice flashed in her eyes.

 "I will not allow someone to steal you from me, Xu Wei."

On the other hand, in one of the high-rise buildings in City S, a man picked up his phone. "Yes?"

 "Boss, Liu Lanzhi wants to investigate the future Young Madam's identity," a man's voice reported.

 The man stood up and went near the floor to ceiling window. "Do your job well. Failure is not an option."

 "Yes, boss!"

They first met on a train. 

She just came out from retirement of being a hermit while he was traveling incognito. He was reading a book when she interrupted his concentration.

“Do you want to know how fast I read?”

The man looked up, his charcoal eyes peered at her, an eyebrow was raised.

How shameless can she be? But whatever, she needed to read that book.

“I can finish it in thirty minutes.”

“So do I. If you stop talking to me,” the man once again buried his head on the book.

“I can give you a very detailed book review?”

The man continued reading, treating her like an air. She pursed her lips, thinking how she can convince the man.

“Giving up so soon? I thought you want to read this book?” The man threw her a glance, raising the book in front of her face, tempting her.

“Okay. What do you want?” She braced herself for his outrageous answer.

“Oh, it’s nothing. I’m sure you can give it to me.”

She squared her shoulders, indicating him to proceed with his request.

“Just a kiss,” the man said, his charcoal eyes became darker.

She almost fell from her seat when she heard the man’s request. She looked at the man’s lips unconsciously then back to the book.

For the first time in history, Li Nuxie wanted both.

" Ahh... What did you want again today, Ah Cheng ?", I said to him after get up from the cozy chaise. While I'm stretching and straighten my clothes, Old Cheng pouring the freshly brew tea for himself. Yup, for him. That's the hint that I should take a seat in front of him with a serious face. Which I do. Well, the serious conversation is starting. Urgh poor myself....

" My Lady, now isn't time for you being a lazy like a cat. As an old woman that even older than me; Old Cheng, you should take care of your health. Please at least walking around the palace, you see I already ask them to grow the new flowers when you told me the environment outside is too boring to walk around.... At my old age, I really shouldn't worried about this. Ahh, now I remembered when my father..."

David Smith, the Manager for the club 'MidNight' stared at me with a stern look then went back to looking through my resume.
I am trying not to be or look nervous but here I am sitting in front of him sweating from both hands. You see this club doesn't just hire anyone, you must have experience and requirements needed to work there. Plus this is my last chance to get my life on track from the lost of my previous job that didn't end well cause of my stubborn attitude towards the boss.
"Miss Noel, you start working today at 8pm sharp". He told me closing the resume before him. Standing up I shook his hands with a generous smile then proceed to leave.
"Oh Miss Noel". I turn back to see him straighten out his grey blazer jacket then raised his head back up.
"How about dinner tomorrow". The confidence he displayed is satisfying to see in men nowadays, this is the tenth time today I've been asked to dinner.
"I'm flattered but I have to decline. Your not my cup of tea". Closing the door behind me I didn't missed the sad expression on his face. It's not my fault I haven't been in a relationship for the past 24 years. You know how you are waiting on prince charming to ride in and sweep you off your feet well yes I've been waiting for the right person who will understand me inside out, who will love me for me.
Walking out the building and towards my car, my phone began to rang so I stop to answer.
"Tell me the details". Rolling my eyes because she's always like this, always got to have details. Putting my purse at the backseat then connecting my phone on Bluetooth I proceed to drove off.
"Well of course I got the job but also a request to dinner".
"And of course he ain't your cup of tea". Abbe-gale the only friend I need in my life sighed. She understands too well that I can judge a person just by looking at them and the type of body language they display.
"Look I know you want me to date but lets just wait for a bit".
"Ugh whatever you say. I'll see you at 8 plus I've already drop off your uniform at home". She finished then hung up.
Upon arriving home, I was completely annoyed that Bruce was there banging on my door. I tell the guy I'm not into him but keeps showing up.
"Bruce!". I shout, getting out of the car so he could see me.
"If you don't leave I won't hesitate to either call the police or hire someone to kill you". Reluctant to leave as always, he stood there having some large flashcards in his hands with writings on them.
Rubbing my head cause this situation is giving me an headache.
"Listen I'm not interested so please leave. I don't have the time of day for this Bruce".
It took him about 4 minutes to leave. Walking towards the door he left a note, I picked it up then tossed it inside the trash bin. Once inside I set in the security code then made my way to my room. My house isn't all fancy, it's a simple cozy home with two bathrooms and bedrooms, kitchen and living room. It's peaceful and silent just the way I like it.
Once in my room, my uniform was neatly place on the bed with a little note.
'I'm coming over in 30 mins'.

Well she's right on time.
I made my way towards the kitchen where she was placing stuff in the refrigerator, I always forget to restock.
"Girl you won't believe who pull up at my doorstep". I said grabbing a vanilla &amp; chocolate ice cream she just brought.
"Your new admire". She tease knowing too well I hate the guy.
"Anyways cut the chit chat. Its on the news that some idiot broke into City Hall". She continue.
Who in their right mind would have the nerve to broke into City Hall. That's the only place that's off limits to us locals.
"Who knows maybe he is going to be punish by the king who's known to be brutal to trespassers". I told her still stuffing my mouth with ice cream.
"That I don't get. The king was known to be kind and loving for centuries, what even happen". I looked at her with my eyes brows raised.
"That's a mystery. It's said that thousand years ago his mate was brutally killed by his own father and ever since he locked himself away from our kind. No one have ever seen the Royal family for that matter". She stopped.
That guy had a fucked up life. Looking at the time, it's 6:55 so we decided to head on over to my room to get ready to head out for work.

The thought of no one ever seeing the Royal family is a mystery itself.
