Over the next year, Celeste surprised her new parents with just how strange she really was. Of course, Celeste was aware of just how unbaby-like she really was. Babies do not usually learn to roll properly before they are two months old. Nor do they usually crawl before they are four months old. 

And while some babies do indeed learn how to stand at six months old and may even manage to take a step or two with the aid of whatever wall, furniture or adult happens to be around. They are not usually capable of running around on their own from one end of the mansion to the other at the same age.

Somehow, before she had turned 10 months old, Celeste's baby babble had turned into proper words and sentences. Her words were even clearer than her brother who was three years older than her. Much to the amazement of the servants in the house.

They had grown used to finding their young miss, not in the nursery where she should have been at 8 months old, but in the massive library surrounded by piles of books on various topics. Usually her brother, Chris, could be found next to her, watching his baby sister in sparkling amazement as she read out loud the contents of the book they were reading and teaching him at the same time. By this time, Chris had fully learnt just how unusual his baby sister was and seemed to love her all the more for it. 

There was an unspoken agreement amongst the servants of the Duke's House and Celeste's parents that no one would speak of just how advanced the young miss of the house was, for her protection. No one wanted her targeted out of desire or jealousy. 

Even Chris was remarkably protective of his sister, remaining guarded whenever he met with his friends on the arranged play dates and they spoke of wanting to meet her. Eventually, he knew they would run into her, although he did his best to keep them out of the library whenever they had their meet ups at his house. It was inevitable really, despite him managing to do so for a over a year.

One day when Celeste was around a 18 months old, she was surprised by the library door banging open. She looked up from her history books to find a little blonde haired boy running through them to hide behind a bookshelf. 'Oh, is brother and his friends playing hide and seek?'

Celeste studied the boy in curiosity while he remained unaware of her presence. His hair was ruffled and untidy from his activities although his clothing were reasonably neat and tidy. He looked close to five years old. She decided to make her presence known. 

"Hello. Are you and my brother playing hide and seek? Or is there a bad person following you?"

The boy jumped in surprise at hearing a young girl's voice behind him. Looking back, he spotted the small girl at a table behind him surrounded by books. Her silvery blue hair was neatly braided on either side in the front and leading to the back to keep it out of her face, whilst the rest were loose around her shoulders. Her silvery blue eyes were bright and clear, and staring at him in obvious curiosity and amusement.

"Um... Hello... Sorry... I didn't mean to interrupt your studies... Are you Chris's sister?"

"Yes, I am. I am Celeste Anna Marie Von Drake. Please call me Celeste. May I ask the name of the person I am speaking to?" Celeste responded as she got down from her chair, walked around the table and performed a curtsy in greeting. The boy was shocked to see just how young the girl really was, and just how graceful she moved despite her age. 

The boy bowed in turn. "I am Theodore Adam Harris Michaelise."

Celeste's eyes widened in surprise and she dropped into a deeper curtsy. "My apologies, your highness, I didn't expect to be greeting the Crown Prince. Please excuse my bad manners."

"Not at all. I found you very polite despite not knowing who I was. I'm more amazed to find a toddler studying in the library rather than playing in the nursery like my own little sister is at a similar age." Prince Theodore walked closer to Celeste. His gold coloured eyes sparkled as he studied her. 'Cute...' 

"Ah... I am an oddity I guess, though my family do not hate me for it." Celeste smiled fondly at the thought of her family. 

"I doubt anyone could hate a cute girl like yourself, Celeste. Though I do understand now just why your brother keeps you hidden as he does." He reached out a hand to lift a stray silvery blue strand that had fallen over Celeste's cheek during her curtsy. 'Soft...' 

Celeste blushed slightly as she stepped back a little pulling her hair out of his hand while doing so. 'Dangerous... Isn't he a little young to be flirting like this?' "Should you not be getting back to my brother and the rest of your friends, your highness? I'm sure they are looking for you." 

"Hmm, considering we're supposed to be playing hide and seek, if they haven't found me yet, I must have found a really good hiding place." Prince Theodore smirked. 

"That is because my brother would not be expecting anyone to hide in the library. I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be an out of bounds area for his friends."

The library door slammed open just then. "Celeste, you haven't seen a stray boy in here have... Oh, Theo, you are here. Why are you annoying my cute little sister during her studies?" 

Prince Theodore laughed. "I came in to hide and found a cute nymph while I was at it." 

"Who are you calling a nymph, your highness? Please keep your teasing to your future fiance and leave me out of it." Celeste folded her arms across her chest in annoyance and turned to Chris. "Dear brother, please take your precious friend away to play. I need to get back to my studies before Father comes to test me on it." 

"Of course, Celeste, I apologise for letting him disturb you. Come on Theo, the others are waiting."

Prince Theodore could only look back in regret at Celeste waving bye with her hand as she headed back to her chair and books while Chris dragged him out of the library behind him. The library door closed behind them blocking his view of Celeste.

"Your sister is quiet remarkable. She's nothing like Amelia even though they are the same age."  Prince Theodore remained staring at the door as if he could see through it, though he really couldn't. Celeste had fascinated him.

"Now you know why we are so protective of her. She's our little treasure. I'm sure I don't need to say it, but please don't gossip about my sister to the others. You're all my precious friends but I won't hesitate to squash any bugs hovering around Celeste. Even if you are my precious friends."

"Not to worry. I'm in no hurry to let other bugs know about that cute little nymph. Though don't expect me to stay away from her either." Prince Theodore grinned at his friend's grumpy face.

"Ugh, I think our meet ups had better be elsewhere for the next few years." Chris stormed off dragging the now laughing prince behind him.

A couple of years later, Celeste had gotten used to her brother's friends dropping in to see her when they came over to play. Chris had given up trying to stop them from seeing her. Well, it wasn't like he could really stop Prince Theodore in the first place and the other two, Peter and Hughes, had grown curious as to where their friend disappeared to during their visits. 

So one after the other, each friend had discovered Celeste studying in the library after spying on the prince and each became fascinated by her in turn. Chris spent a lot of time mumbling about getting rid of bugs to Prince Theodore's amusement and Celeste's confusion.

By the time Celeste had turned four, she had grown used to having her brother and his three friends join her lessons. Her father had finally consented to getting her a tutor to teach the things he and her mother could not.

At first Celeste's tutor, George, was shocked at just how advanced his student was and was under strict instructions to not talk about her under any circumstances. He was proud of his student and badly wanted to show her off. But George understood exactly why she was kept hidden as well. It was already bad enough that Celeste's brother and his friends would interrupt their lessons with their visits. They seemed to struggle to keep up with her level of lessons at first although they did try hard to not fall behind too far. 

They seemed to thrive on the challenge and eventually, seemed to join her every day. Since each of their respective parents were pleased at the result of their unofficial lessons, they arranged privately with Celeste and Chris' parents to make the lessons official and compensate George for it. So Celeste's one on one lessons then became a daily class of five. 

Celeste was only glad that George kept the boys teasing to a minimum during their lessons. Prince Theodore was bad enough with his teasing outside of the lessons and the others while not as bad were fairly close to it. Poor Celeste spent a lot of time being seemingly passed around from one eight year old boy to another while maintaining a brightly flushed face due to their teasing antics. 

Her only relief from the boys teasing came from her brother. Even then, it only dropped to the bare minimum and only because he clung to her like a leech himself glaring at anyone who dared to approach her.

Semi-generic standard story of a teenage girl from Earth reborn into a new game-like world after a visit from truck-san.

Crystal stood still in one place. She had been thinking of the last mission even in her sleep. She had dreams about it and she tried to read books to try and forget about it.
Then it struck her. She called Leon up. It rung for some time but he didn't answer. Crystal tapped her foot on the ground out of nervousness.
Her phone rang.
"Hello?" said Crystal
"Yeah, Crystal what is it?" asked Leon
"How did your parents survive being erased?" said Crystal
"They performed many missions in a short time so that they powered up and fought the darkness. That's not an option for us because our time is running out." said Leon and sighed
Crystal was silent.
"Also, we know we're coming close to the end because all of us have completed at least one main mission. According to my ancestor's diaries, it says colour is the key to defeat the darkness. I wish I could research more on colour, but I'm colour blind." said Leon
"This isn't fair! The children have transformed a long time ago, so by the time they reach our age..." said Crystal
"By then, the darkness will be stronger." said Leon
"Where did it even come from?" asked Crystal
"From within ourselves." said Leon
After a long pause Crystal said, "I don't want to lose hope so easily! Alright then, bye."
And she cut him off.
Crystal felt like smashing her glass table top into pieces. She didn't want to feel angry or even sad, she just wanted to escape from this situation.
So she went to her bookshelf and began to read all the books she didn't finish.
By the time it was evening, she was still reading and didn't realize that her phone was on silent.
She finished the eleventh chapter of her third book, had her dinner and looked at her phone.
"Are you okay? You haven't been answering my calls :("

"Yeah I'm fine."

Then she saw that Harper and Yasmin left her messages too. Harper sent her three pictures of inspirational quotes that Crystal didn't read. Yasmin's messages were more about personal life issues.
Crystal put her phone on sound mode. 
The air felt stuffy and she couldn't breathe. There was no sound except the clock ticking in her bedroom. 
After fifteen minutes the phone began to beep.
"Hello?" said Leon
"Yeah?" said Crystal
"Did I upset you?"
"No... But I can feel the darkness approaching." said Crystal
"How?" said Leon
"From within me, of course... I miss the old, more optimistic Leon." said Crystal
"I understand. You're right. If the darkness is within us, we must not let it out without a fight." said Leon
"That's much better." said Crystal, showing a faint smile to herself in the mirror
She could smell the scent of fabric, which was difficult to sense unless a person was always surrounded by cloth.
"If you ever have any problem related to this, just let me know." said Leon
"You too, Leon. We aren't alone in this. So what are you doing?" said Crystal
"Reading about colour theory... You know, I really wonder what some of these colours look like." said Leon
"I can't imagine a world without colour, since I'm always working with it... But I suck at colouring." said Crystal
"But you're a fashion designer. I thought you had to sketch and stuff." said Leon
"Yeah but my colouring skills are bad, I don't understand where shadows fall and how to mix paints properly. I always ruin something with paint." said Crystal
"Its fine, we all have our weaknesses. Also, I think I've been concentrating too much on one part of the riddle. Most likely because it reminds me of my weakness. I'll spend more time with the riddle, alright? If anything happens, don't hesitate to tell us." said Leon
"Alright bye." said Crystal
They stopped the call. The contact picture flashed on the screen, and it went blank to save charge. Crystal looked at her red phone and kept it on the seat.
Crystal yawned and stretched her arms. 
"Tick, tick, tick."
It was her white wall clock with golden and pink intricate designs.
She thought she wanted to sleep. So she brushed her teeth.
But the melodies of horror plunged into her dreams. She saw a frightful man who was supposed to be a demon of some sort but had the face of an angel. He had black horns but had white wings. They were both standing at the edge of a cliff. It was dark, but the sun was about to rise. 
"Don't you wish to die?" he asked
"No, I just want to end my pain, not my life." said Crystal, shivering
"There's not much to life! Just painful reality. Come with me, we'll die together and go to hell, or perhaps even heaven! If you're lucky." he said
"Look, don't drag me into this." said Crystal
"I'll be lonely and everyone hates me." he said
"We all have to die eventually so I would rather not die now." said Crystal
He pushed her into a pit of bright light which burned her sight and soon she couldn't see anything. She cried in the dream and it turned into painful tears in reality.
When she woke up, she had chills and a fever. Crystal couldn't move.
She texted her parents and her friends. 
Her mother said her parents will book a flight as soon as possible.
On that day, the gang visited her.
Vanessa brought her a "Get Well Soon!" card, Yasmin brought a basket of fruit, and Harper brought her acoustic guitar and a card game.
Leon gave her a black and green book. It was called, "Defeating the Devil". 
"I don't know your taste in books, but I figured you'd like this. Yasmin suggested a romantic comedy, would you have liked that better?" said Leon
"No..." whispered Crystal
She saw as Yasmin put her face in her palm.
"Well I'm glad then!" said Leon, grinning
"I was going to bring my electric guitar too but Yasmin stopped me, hehe." said Harper
Three of them played the card game "Rushing for Gold" as Harper played a soft tune on the guitar and sang a lullaby.
Yasmin was also peeling an orange for Crystal as she played. Crystal was eating fruit as she read the book. The book was written in some archaic version of English, so it took her a while to grasp every paragraph.
She soon fell asleep. She felt someone put a blanket over her and put a stuffed animal beside her, and it went dark, which meant they turned off the lights.

08h00am Since the arrival of little Pepito, 6 years went by extremely quickly. Diane was always overprotective of her child, and Jose was now discreetly slipping tequila into his son's soda.

This morning of Monday, September 6, 2004, was not a day like any other for the little family that had gathered in the living room. Diane and Jose watched with some pain their now tall Pepito, who with his little brown tee-short and his little green and blue shorts, had a cute little Donald school bag on his back.

Before today, Pepito had never been inside a school. Diane stopped working to take care of her son, who was diagnosed (different), by child behaviour specialists.

Pepito, is indeed very different from other children. He doesn't like toys. So much so that when his parents tried to force him to hold them in his hand, he threw a tantrum and threw them against the walls.

More worrisome according to Diane. From the age of three, her little boy developed an obvious, almost sickly attraction to alcohol, to the great joy of Jose, who warmly congratulated his son as soon as he tried to open the cupboard containing his father's bottles.

If he hates toys, Pepito's passion is cardboard. Pepito, likes to sit in a big box, then swing back and forth in it for hours. Sometimes even falling asleep inside.

For these reasons and many others that the parents of the (different) child will never admit, they decided that before the kindergarten, their little Pepito, would stay quietly at home to spend quiet days in his cardboard box.

The young Pepito who just turned 6 years old is very tall for his age.

Many people are very surprised the first time they see this little boy with extremely broad shoulders who seems to practice weight training. His very slightly matt skin highlights his beautiful blue eyes. All these characteristics are to be thrown to the dogs according to Jose, who maintains that the most important are the beautiful brown hair of his son, which he judges in all points identical to his own.

09:00 am As Diane entered in the school, she was very worried and observed her son's reactions. She feared that he would be disturbed by the shouting and all the children who were running around. However, her fear turned out to be unfounded.

Pepito, walked quietly down the small corridor without showing the slightest reaction. He gently held his hand and looked straight ahead, ignoring what was around him, as if he couldn't perceive the agitation that reigned on the morning of his first day of school.

Deep in her heart, Diane wished her son would show a little anxiety or stick to her stomach and say, "I want to stay with my mommy."

Yet, as Pepito's mother, she knows this better than anyone: Her son rarely shows her feelings and affection.

In front of the door of the little classroom, richly painted pink and decorated with drawings, paintings and adorable objects made by last year's students, Diane affectionately kisses her son's forehead, then reluctantly lets go of his little hand to let him live his life for the first time.

The class in this small public school is humble, but it is warm and very well laid out.

Here and there small tables and chairs are placed in an orderly position. On closer inspection, however, one exception breaks this uniformity.

Pepito, without even being told where his assigned place is, instinctively goes to the back of the classroom. His steps stop behind a table near the window, where on a pile of books above which,  the kind teacher has set up a large cardboard box for him.

Pepito, does neither one nor two. He climbs the small staircase of books and settles comfortably in his school cardboard box.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to let the children work. Don't worry, everything will be fine."

The young parents who today have taken a day off to accompany their children as they enter the world of grown-ups, feel the anxiety rising inside them. For some mothers, separating from their little one is a heartbreak, but even today, after a few hugs and multiple recommendations, all the young men and women leave this class, not without turning around many times.

"No need to be nervous Klaus, revelations really don't matter since we need every tool we can get. Well it would be a bit embarrassing if Bella doesn't get a weapon since all royalty in the past has had one"

At the end of the kings little 'you'll probably get a crappy tool speech' Bella walked towards the revelation tablet, it was atleast a meter tall, made of some kind of white crystal with loads of ruin carvings. As she touched the tablet she closed her eyes and whispered.

"Reveal my tool"

Suddenly the ruins all started to glow blue, and in both her hands an extending white light grew eventually forming 2 beautiful violet rapiers. As they formed the ruins on the tablet shifted eventually forming 2 lines.

"oh my god" gasps and screams of shock came from the crowd.

"The tablet states that you have gained the twin gravity rapiers with the ability- weight change. In conclusion the council awards you the title of A class tool novice" An old man by the tablet announces.

"yaaaaaay...….woooaaah...…"The crowd erupts in cheers and screams, apparently happy for their princess.

"I assume A class is pretty good then, is there a level higher?" I ask turning towards the king expecting an answer, instead I see tears running down his face and him running off to congratulate his daughter.

I wonder what Ill get, I start walking towards the tablet not really noticing my surroundings and touch the tablet, before I notice im already repeating what the princess whispered.

"Reveal my tool"

Suddenly the tablet glows like before, a white light glows in my hand slowly taking form and changing into....a small, short..... paint brush. People look at me with disapproving eyes for interrupting the princess's celebration but the council still does their job reluctantly.

"The tablet states that you have gained the brush of colour and the ability- colouring. In conclusion the council awards you the title F class tool novice"

 Colouring? Seriously? Great now I can paint my mum her elixir and maybe if I paint Draco a nice enough portrait he'll give me my dad back......…..

"Hey maybe you can paint the dark Fel a portrait and they'll help you out" Bella looks at me with irritation.

*Boom*

"The gate has been breached! the dark Fel have attacked!" suddenly loads of armoured humanoids riding on mosquitoes entered the area all heading towards the revelation stone.

 Suddenly someone in cloak from the crowd grabs the princess and puts an axe to her throat.
"your majesty and his army should stay put if you don't want us to kill her, even we don't want to do that......we just want to borrow her for a bit" the cloaked man speaks.

Hmm interesting...….well I cant really do much here with my paint brush so ill just go over here behind this giant tomato and wait this out.

"unhand her or I promise you that the Fel wont let this go!"

The cloaked man didn't even respond. He just walked up to a mosquito, jumped on...….flew away.

Thinking that was the end I relaxed, before I knew it the ground beneath me started shifting......so I jumped onto the tomato but I soon regretted that sice that tomato was thrown into the air by.......why is there a catapult there!? Seeing as I was in the air and in line with hitting the mosquito the princess on I decided to help out a bit so they couldn't see dodge the tomato and used my......…paintbrush by changing the tomato from red to brown like the surroundings.

*splat*

Well it hit but I guess it was too ripe cause the mosquito was fine. Don't ask how but I was somehow riding behind the flyer while replacing the hooded guy that had the princess tied up...…...great that's one down.

Now for the other......uh actually ill let the princess take this one. I quickly turn around in my seat, the princess is tied up facing the other way so I just slide towards her.

"Yo the painter has come" before she can respond the ropes are loosened, she summons her rapiers and tears the ropes apart.....huh so I don't have to carry my paintbrush....

She spins, jumps over me boots the flyer in the head. He falls off pretty easy...…..she walks up to me...…her hand comes towards my...…..leg. She grabs it and pulls me to the reins of the mosquito.

"fly" before I know it she jumps off the mosquito and lands on one below us, slaughtering away...…

The only problem I had with this whole event was.......how the hell do I fly a mosquito!?!?

Turns out just like a horse....except you just say up and down to...…..you know, go up and down.

By the time I landed the area was clear, the dark Fel slaughtered.

"There he is! The saviour!"

"Oh my god he was so cool"

Would have appreciated the second comment more if it wasn't from a grown man...…..

On the island of Fuschia Village

Red-Haired Shanks was one of the Yonkou like his rival Whitebeard, but contrary to the attitudes of the general public about pirates, Shanks was one of the most laid back characters in the world with a complex thinking pattern that no one can predict. He never acted in any way contrary to his being, and he was perfectly happy for who he is.

Right now he was staying at Fuschia Village at the Party's Bar where they drank and celebrated like there was no tomorrow.

Why? Because they were celebrating a courageous little seven-year old that went and stabbed himself in his left eye, leaving a permanent scar.

"I told you I wasn't afraid!" yelled the little boy named Monkey D. Luffy who was giving his role model the best angry pout he could give.

"True, you proved me wrong… But you're still a chibi." he teased.

Luffy looked about ready to throw a tantrum.

"SHUT UP! STOP CALLING ME CHIBI! I'M A MAN!" he yelled.

The bartender, Makino thought it was adorable that Luffy wanted to be so much like Shanks. She would always watch over him like an older sister or a mother-figure.

"And…and… My punch is as strong as a pistol!" he yelled at the top of his lungs, causing the whole crew to laugh out loud.

Shanks decided to humor him. "Okay…" he pointed to the counter of the bar.

"If you can make a dent in this, I'll take you sailing with my crew." he said.

Luffy's scowl was soon replaced with a toothy grin. "REALLY?!"

Shanks was really just messing with the boy. There was no way that this boy could-

*SMASH*

All heads turned to a destroyed bar counter, and the source of destruction came from Luffy who held a small amount of surprise to himself as well as splinters lodged in his right fist.

The adults, including Shanks, were speechless for once. No one said or did anything for about a minute except stare at Luffy with dumbfounded expressions.

Luffy was confused. "What?" he asked while feeling uncomfortable with all the stares.

Shanks was currently deep in thought at what just happened. 'No way… the force in that punch… it can't be… but… I sensed it… Haki….'

Luffy remained silent until Shanks walked up to him and knelt down to his level.

"Luffy, do you know what you just did?" The boy shook his head 'no'.

"You destroyed the bar counter with just your fist. That's something only a full-grown man can do. How did you do something only grown-ups can?" he inquired.

The young Luffy looked at the shattered counter then back at Shanks, and then shrugged. "I dunno. I just got so mad that you guys treated me like a baby. Then I felt something flow through me and focused on that counter. I just gave it all I had in that punch and…. that happened."

He rubbed the back of his head self-consciously. "Well, I guess I don't know my own strength."

Shanks still couldn't believe his eyes. A boy no older than 7 had used Haki.

He would have had more time to ponder on the subject, if fate hadn't decided to interfere.

The double-swinging doors opened to reveal a tall, scruffy man with black hair which tied up to a small tail, a mustache-goatee combo and a cross-scar on his upper-right temple of his forehead. He was wearing black pants and a large, brown coat wielding a long saber. Following close behind him was his crew of 20 bandits. He marched his way to Makino and demanded drinks for him and his men, all while boasting about his 8,000,000 bounty.

Shanks became the better man and offered the Bandit Leader an unconsumed drink, to which Higuma responded aggressively by smashing his glass with his scabbard. He then insults Shanks and his crew and takes off.

It was after that…. They partied even harder. Lucky Roo and Yasopp were dancing goofily and laughing their heads off.

Beckman was against the wall with an amused smirk as he downed his drink.

Shanks hadn't stopped laughing since that event had passed. Still he couldn't help but think… 'How can he have an ambition that high, especially for a little kid. Then again, he is Dragon's son.'

Luffy however was mad as hell and let out his frustrations. "What was that?! You should've kicked their asses or something for disrespecting you!"

The laughter died down after his outburst and Shanks was the one who answered him.

"Luffy, sometimes you have to know when to pick a fight and when not to pick a fight. Besides, he just broke the mug and spilled some sake, it's not worth getting in a fight." he explained rationally.

Luffy went off to sulk in a corner of the undestroyed section of the bar. He was pouting and grumbling something about his role model's logic, when at the corner of his eye, he spied five, small, open boxes sitting on his right-hand side, containing what appeared to be fruit.

The one closest to his left was a purple and yellow fruit made up of many small teardrop shaped parts with swirl patterns, and spreading green leafage sprouting from the top. It has a shape and appearance that closely resembles a pineapple or a bundle of grapes. The second one was a more violet-bleach white colored Yubari Melon shaped fruit with more swirls and spikes and the third one was a fruit which was azure black and blue in colour and it's shaped like a dragon's face with scales the fourth was a fruit which resembled like a sun and moon in colour along with some dark colouring it was releasing a very hot and very cold feeling .

Luffy's stomach was telling him to 'eat them' and he was never one to doubt his stomach. Ever. After a few seconds, Luffy began to gorge himself silently on the fruits, starting with the first one closest to him.

Shanks gave the boy a minute to cool off, which was probably not the best idea for him, for as soon as he turned back he saw Luffy finishing off the fifth Devil Fruit.

"Spit it out Luffy! All of it!" he yelled.

"Uh… captain…?" Yasopp beckoned.

"CAPTAIN!" Roo roared.

The captain turned to his crewmates, discontinuing his tirade. "WHAT?!"

Yasopp raised a shaky finger to the empty chests. "He ate all five of them."

"NANIIII?!" Shanks yelled in disbelief; his eyes the size of dinner-plates.

He turned his head, almost giving himself whiplash. He eyes widened in horror when he saw that indeed all five fruits had been consumed. He blanched as he shakily turned his head to the boy in question, who was quite literally 'face-down on the ground' his legs had stretched a few feet.

Shanks pulled the boy up to face him. "Luffy! You just ate four  Devil Fruits!"

Luffy looked a bit panicky and confused. "W-What? I just ate them…. And they tasted really nasty just so you know!" he shouted

Shanks shook his head vigorously. "No boy! No one is supposed to eat even two of them! The effects cause the user to be torn up and killed from the inside out! So in other words… you're supposed to be DEAD!" he shouted back. Luffy's skin color paled considerably, but then realized something important after pausing for a few moments. "B-But… I'm still alive!"

Shanks also took note of that and how the toddler wasn't a bloody mess right now.

"But, how?"

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small handbook version of the Akuma no Mi Encyclopedia that he raided when he destroyed a very treacherous Vega punks lab but Vega punk escaped with his life and he got only this five devil fruits with this encyclopedia which also contained the details about the fruits he ate.

He skimmed through until he reached the desired section regarding the first fruit Luffy ate.

'Yami-pika no Mi (Dark-light Fruit) is labeled the most powerful Logia-type fruit as well as the rarest. Whoever consumes this fruit is given the following in exchange for the ability to swim.'

The ability to control the darkness and light and its unique property of gravity and speed.

Damage and attacks become useless as the user is his own center of gravity, thus resulting in regenerative healing and forcibly pull enemies towards the user.

Able to summon black holes and consume anyone and anything into it, effectively crushing them upon release.

The most unique and powerful advantage of the fruit, is that the user also has the ability to nullify the powers of other Devil Fruit users by simply touching them and draining them of their abilities. All powers from other Devil Fruit types, be it Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia are affected by this.

"Umm I was wondering if I could perhaps take school off whenever I wish to hunt. I really don't see the point in coming to school when I could easily make a living with my hunting money." said Navi

"Ohh and you think that's enough to let you skip school." said Senna while raising her brow 

"Honestly I don't need this I memorized all knowledge books within the library in less than 2 hrs and your telling me I need to learn everything I already know. If you need proof then ask the guild receptionist and Aria and they'll tell you I didn't even know the language until a day ago." said Navi clearly irritated 

Senna who was clearly surprised at what she heard looked at Navi's eyes and thought, 'She not lying I've read enough eyes to know that she's telling the truth.'

"Alright if your really so adamant then I'll allow it if you can follow one condition." said Senna

"Ohh and what condition would that be." asked Navi while narrowing her eyes

"Nothing to hard, you see some of the teachers aren't gonna like the idea of you skipping class so if any of them wishes to test you do complete the test so as to show the others you aren't just boasting." said Senna 

"Ohh is that all then why don't you just give me the hardest exams so I can graduate right here and now." asked Navi

"You see the problem with that is the government would think were irresponsible for letting you graduate early especially if it's for hunting. Though if you reach level 50 then you won't have to worry about that because they won't be able to stop you." said Senna

"You're right I'm not really interested because I'll probably be past level 50 by then so it's not like it matters to me. Plus once I get to level 50 I'll look like a grown adult with better assets than you. And it's not like I can come to school whilst looking like an adult can I." said Navi

"Well if that happens I'll be able to graduate you then. And how are you so sure you be so grown up once you reach level 50." asked Senna

Pulling back, I adjusted my grip on the ball before rocketing my arm forward with furious momentum.

The air split at the force and once the ball left my hand, the crack of the baseball hitting the wood rang throughout the woods. Using my enhanced reflexes, I brought my opposite hand up and caught the rebounding ball with my glove, a similar crack ringing out again albeit much quieter and more muffled.

This was the 347th ball I'd thrown. I was now able to smoothly and accurately throw the ball with 60% of my power. Let me just say that controlling where the ball hits when you're throwing at your hardest is surprisingly pretty hard. Luckily, I'm a genius. Or at least a pseudo-genius because of my learning ability.

Pulling back for another throw, I sniffed the air smelling Vampires near. When I say near, I mean within half a kilometer but still; if I can smell them, they could probably smell me.

So in the thoughts of self-preservation, I packed up my stuff before running off deeper into the forest, where I knew wolf territory was. The Vampires wouldn't follow me there and the wolves will probably leave me alone.

When I got there, I got on with more throwing, wanting to get to at least 400 throws before I called it quits and started working out.

It took a bit of time to get those last 53 throws in because I was actively trying to improve everything about my throws but it was worth the time.

I thought this as I looked at the deep dent on the thick tree in front of me from all the balls I'd pelted at it.

Smiling victoriously, I threw the worn-out and broken baseball diagonally into the air and away from me and I watched it rocket away despite me not even using full force.

Haah~ It's so fun having superhuman strength~

Chuckling to myself, I started to work out. I'd do hundreds of sit-ups, hundreds of press-ups, hundreds of pull-ups, and hundreds of squats, and even then, I barely felt an aching muscle in my body, the boiling energy in my body rushing to heal whatever tear I made in my muscle, no matter how micro it was.

And the best part?

It healed the muscle back better.

Oh, how I LOVE being a Shapeshifter. At least my kind of Shapeshifter.

Finding some big rocks I started lifting them and doing a multitude of workouts, pushing my limits even further. Bodyweight exercise doesn't help much anymore and I've started to use them as a warm-up for the exercises like this.

Rocks like this litter the woods around Forks and they come in all kinds of sizes. The one I was currently lifting must have been bigger than a bike and nearer to a car in size and I'd have to say it weighs closer to a ton than it does to one hundred kilograms; probably around 800kg? Yeah, that seems right.

This wasn't my absolute limit but it did make my bones creak. Though the energy in my body constantly repaired bones microfractures, and this is when I realized this energy is what fulls my healing factor as well.

I guess it's like a Shapeshifter's equivalent to a Vampire's Venom which flows through their system and can be used for several purposes.

Anyway, I continued to exercise until I heard some twigs crunching a few meters away from me. Hurriedly dropping the rock with a loud bang, I spun around and I tried to play it off like I wasn't just lifting a big boulder like some light work out weight.

Even started whistling. Not suspicious at all.

Looking at the person who'd caught me pretty much red-handed, I had to do a double-take.

Tall, for a girl at least, at around 5'11" with sleek black hair cut short at about her chin and her black eyelashes were like feather-dusters, batting over her dark, but shiny, brown eyes which seemed to shine with disbelief but also realization.

"Alex?" her mouth, formed like an 'o', became a wide smile and she rushed over toward me and hugged me tightly.

Her hugs force was slightly strong, even for my body, so I knew she was supernatural. I knew who she was, however, so I didn't need to know this to know she was of supernatural origin.

Feeling her athletic but feminine body pressed close to mine, I was stunned before I felt joy at meeting a friend I hadn't seen in many years, and quickly returned the hug with crushing force which made the girl start laughing joyfully.

Looking own at her head buried in my chest, I smiled before separating.

She reluctantly separated from me before she looked up at me with a dazzling smile and I had to admit: In the years I hadn't seen this girl, she'd really bloomed into a beautiful girl. It was different than Edythe who looked unreal or ethereal like a supernatural being, or like Bella who looked like a 'girl next door' type of girl, this girl in front of me gave off a more exotic kind of beauty and it really set her apart from most, if not all, of the girls I knew.

Smiling back at her, I spoke, "Leah...It's been what? 5, 6 years? You've really grown!" I stopped myself from looking at her tall, athletic and developed figure and kept my eyes focused on her shiny brown eyes.

Hearing what I said, Leah averted her gaze as her copper skin went a bit darker in her embarrassment from my comment, "Yeah, I guess I have..." she bit her lip as she looked back up at me, looking at my muscular body as her gaze traveled back up to meet mine, "But you're one to talk; where's that lanky boy I used to play soccer* and tag with? You've really grown yourself...and filled out," Leah went flustered again as she looked at my body.

This was Leah Clearwater, my other childhood friend. Jacob, her and I were inseparable when we were younger and we'd made some fond memories that I could look back on even to today. Though she didn't stick with me and Jacob once we'd all entered Middle School; she split off with Jacobs sisters and the other girls in her area. Being friends with boys at that age was like a social taboo.

Kids in early puberty are weird, I guess.

But more importantly, Leah Clearwater was the only girl to awaken the Shapeshifter Gene in her family. In the books and the movies, she was a Shapeshifter, and in the books, she was THE fastest wolf of the pack.

This girl was like me - A Shapeshifter.

And from her hug just now, it seemed she'd already fully phased or she was currently coming to the end of her phasing and would soon be able to shift.

Though this was weird. She shouldn't be able to do this until New Moon. Right now we're still in Twilight and Leah Clearwater should still be a normal girl, albeit pretty moody because of her break-up with Same, another Shapeshifter.

Why had she awakened? Had some big stuff changed?

Pushing my thoughts to the edge of my mind, I looked at the girl in front of me and curiously smiled with a raised eyebrow, "By the way, since when did you get here, Leah?" I needed to know if she had seen me lifting that massive boulder because if so, I'd have to swear her to secrecy or something like that.

I should have paid more attention to my surroundings.

Hearing what I said, Leah smirked before squinting her eyes in a smug expression, "Oh, I don't know, since you were overhead pressing that massive boulder behind you~" as she finished her smug expression crumbled and she started laughing.

I was slightly confused on why she wasn't curious about how I could do that if she did indeed see me, but not wanting to dig myself a hole, I rolled my eyes before replying to her, "I think it goes without saying that you can't tell anyone what you saw, right? Please, Leah," I smiled pleadingly, wanting to use the looks she was so obviously enamored with to my advantage.

She stopped laughing before looking at me seriously which kinda surprised me; Leah was never serious when we were younger. She was either being grumpy and easily agitated or energetic and happy. Never serious.

Her pretty brown eyes looked up into my blue ones and she smiled a little.

"If it's a favor for you, Alex, then I'm sure I can keep this a secret," she lost her serious face, replacing it was an ironically cat-like smile, like a playful cat playing with a mouse, "But you owe me one. Maybe dinner at a nice restaurant, we could go to Port Angeles like we used to do with our parents," she smiled happily, remembering the meals we'd go for after doing some fishing, but went a bit flustered as she carried on, "But just the two of us this time. Don't let Jacob weasel his way into the meal, either," she scowled and I had to say, I was surprised with her apparent dislike of Jacob.

Seeing my obvious confusion, Leah flicked her hair back, seemingly in frustration before addressing it, "Back when we were kids, Jacob was a real dick to me when you went around. Constantly teasing me for being a boy-like girl, saying I shouldn't play with either of you, or just being dismissive of everything I had to say, and I guess it just stuck with me," she sighed before carrying on, "I really only put up with Jacob because I liked being with you. You made most things fun and you didn't dismiss me because I was a girl...You don't know it, but you were a big confidence booster for me growing up," she smiled sweetly while looking at me and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have to hide my blushed cheeks by looking away.

But still, I had no idea Jacob was such a dick to her. Sure they never got along as well as they did with me but still...I didn't think it was so bad.

"Well, I'm sorry to hear Jake was such a jerk to you...I'll make sure it's just us to for the meal," turning back to her, I smiled apologetically at her before it turned into a more playful grin, "Plus, I wanna save money. So it just being us two will be easier on my wallet~" laughing lighthearted, Leah joined me and we just stood there laughing.

Finally, the laughing came to an end before I looked at Leah with a grateful smile, "Thanks, Leah. Despite not seeing you for a few years, you're still you; a great friend. Thanks for agreeing to keep my secret," I pat her head, it being something I'd done all the time when we were kids - Leah used to be a pretty short kid and it was easier to treat her like a younger sister than a person of the same age.

And I guess some of that just carried over as I did it on instinct.

Still, Leah didn't seem to complain, she just yelped a little before her full lips curved into a small, but happy, smile as she just sat there enjoying the head pat. 

By the time I realized what I was doing, it was already clear she didn't mind it so I just carried on for a few more seconds before pulling her into another tight hug, happy that I'd reconnected with a friend of mine before I thought it would happen.

Weirdly prepared for the hug, like she was going to hug me if I didn't hug her, Leah tightly wrapped her arms around me and we just stood there, old friends who would soon get to know one another once again.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy hugging such a beautiful girl but I didn't do anything weird; it wasn't in my nature to be like that. I'd at least ask before doing that kind of stuff. Though that didn't stop Leah from doing some...questionable stuff.

Mainly sniffing me. But I chalked it up to her wolf instincts going wild because of emotions after meeting an old friend of hers and finding out he wasn't so different from her. Which she'll probably want to speak about when we have dinner. Thrilling.

After a solid minute of hugging, I tapped Leah's back to tell her to let go of me and she reluctantly did so, looking up at me with crescent-shaped eyes and a wide smile.

Weirdly happy...

Blocking such thoughts, I smiled down at her before picking up my bag next to me with the baseballs and my glove in it.

"Well, I better get going. I'll come here around tomorrow night and we can figure out the details for this dinner I owe you, okay?" smiling, Leah nodded at what I said, and after I gave her hair a ruffle, I broke out in a jog which slowly developed into a sprint as I needed to get home to ask my dad something.

POV Change - Leah Clearwater

As I watched the tall, handsome boy run away, I felt my cheeks go warm, followed quickly by the rest of my body.

It still felt like his intense, electric blue eyes were looking at me and the feeling sent goosebumps over my skin.

I can't believe how much he'd changed.

The pale, slightly skinny bean pole I used to know had turned into a slightly tanned muscular bodied Adonis. But he was still the same. A smile like the sun and kind, gentle eyes.

I couldn't say I wasn't surprised by the fact he was lifting a boulder around the size of a car, and to see how heavy it was I tried to lift it - I could barely get half of it off the ground - but honestly after I completed my phasing and gained the ability to turn into a big wolf, I could confidently say I wasn't too surprised by most things anymore.

If anything, the thought of him being supernaturally charged me with energy - I wouldn't have to hide what I was from him!

As I watched the handsome boy run away, I smiled thinking about how he hadn't changed, and with a hand to my chest, I felt myself linked to him and I couldn't fathom how I'd survived without him. Watching where he was, now that he'd disappeared into the darkening forest, I couldn't help but smile and do a few mini-fist bumps into the air when thinking about how we'd be getting dinner together--

Together. Just the two of us. Like a date. A date with Alex.

Feeling my brain short-circuit, I phased into my wolf form before speeding off home, knowing that I needed to ask my mom to take my clothes shopping.

Dying, gaining a few wishes and reincarnating into a world where an Underworld of Vampires pretty much rules the world, watch as Alexander becomes something who makes the Supernatural world know that a single being can become a threat to everything.

In a small bedroom, pink wall paper on the walls, a few colouring books on a side cabinet next to the bed, a wardrobe blocking the door and in the middle, James, lay unconscious, over time his body started releasing black gue and blood, over a few days he was incased in a cocoon,  black and red in colour half attached to the bed pulsating like a heart.

"Ba-bump, ba-bump..."

Time went by, a day, a week, even a month, but the cocoon just grews by a foot every week and beats consistently, until 3 months and a half later when a hand pierces through the outer layer of the cocoon.

'Where am I' is the only thing going through his mind as he claws his way out of the cocoon, one limb at his time, he finally makes his way out.

He looks around the room, unaffected by the fact from where he just came from, try a to gather his memories, but nothing, the first thing he could remember was the inside of the cocoon.

'Don't worry my child, I have been looking for you and your brothers.' a voice of an angel states.

"Who's there" He asks, as he looks around the room to find the origin of the voice.

'What is wrong, my son, It is your mother, queen of our people, I speak to you through the virus, your body is in the midst of destroying it so we don't have much time, it has been to long since our race was brought to near extinction, it is time to rise again.'

"I, I"

'Your memories, it couldn't have, my son, do you remember anything, of our great empire, the rebirth plan'

"No, I don't remember"

'A error, one that we did not foresee, you are my fourth son, prince Damien, your DNA was compatible with your host, among a few others, your DNA, being the strongest, took claim of the host'

"How much princes our there"

'You have 7 brothers, only you and another 2 have awakened, your 3rd and 6th brothers, your 7th brother has also found his match, and in a cocoon like the one you were in, a large portion of our people have also found them selfs suitable hosts, those outside our drones, used to spread the DNA and find compatible primitives to awaken our people, if you meet a yellow eyed person, they will most likely be a member of our people, as for you and your brothers, share the white eyes of you father, I cannot speak for any longer, beware the primitives, as they will..' her voice stopped before she could continue.

The Apocalypse, an event involving destruction on a catastrophic scale, involved a Virus believed to be a work of fiction. In 2020, a Virus from a extra-terrestrial source spread globally, infecting the earths populace.

The Queen, the only living and breathing survivor after the extermination of her people came across Earth, a pre space age world, primitive in her eyes, and released a Virus upon it, carrying the genetic code of individuals from her species, to find and use bodies of the infected who were found compatible as hosts to revive her people, those who were not, turned into mindless drones, that would spread the virus through a bite, the Human's left would call these 'Zombies', identifiable by the decomposing skin and red pupils. 

Those that were compatible, would become hosts, and after using the DNA within the virus to improve themselves within a few months to become deadly combatants, such as those from wuxia stories, would lead their drone (Zombie) armies, against Mankind's last Strongholds to identify and infect all those that may host their brethren.

But Humankind would not fall just yet, some Human's from the initial infection were able to survive the virus, although not fully immune, with a second dose of the virus entering the body through something like a bite having the chance of them turning, 20% of the earth's populace could fall under this group, usually common in families, but even more importantly, some were even able to go further and devour the DNA within the virus and evolve, growing in strength everyday, they were able to fight on equal grounds against the host, although less than 5% of the humans were able to do this.

With a bit less than 25% of the human population left, against more then 5 billion zombies and some hosts. How will the conflict escalate and will mankind survive.

But most important for this story, is the story of the Forth Prince, and his host.

"Wow, three quests at the same time," exclaimed Naruto. "But why do I have to study so much?"

[A strong Shinobi is also a smart Shinobi! A dumb Shinobi will never become the Hokage!]

"Alright, then no time to lose!" said Naruto, jumping up. "I'll quickly become very powerful! That way everyone will acknowledge me!"

With the Transformation Jutsu around, Naruto's life got immediately better. This made him very happy. The system recommended to Naruto to focus studying in the library in the morning and train physically in the afternoon. This became his new daily routine.

Naruto had found a number of scrolls on Chakra control, such as, 'Basics of Chakra' and 'Introducing to Chakra Control'. This had helped him immensely in improving his control over his Chakra and the fact that he always had the Transformation Jutsu on everytime he was in the library contributed greatly.

Just like that, six days passed quickly before he got a notification from the system.

"Yes! I completed my second Quest!" exclaimed Naruto as he was jumping in joy.

"Kid, good work," said Kurama in his head. "You've done well improving your Chakra Control. But you still need to work on it!"

"Kurama, it's alright, I'll keep practicing!" said Naruto, happy from being praised. "But first to learn the new Jutsu!"

Naruto's training continued much like the past week. He had learned the Body Replacement Jutsu the same day he got it and was very happy about it. He would practice it for one hour every day along with his physical exercise. His mastery over the Jutsu had become just as good as the Transformation Jutsu.

The days once again trickled away as the days passed into weeks and finally on the third week since Naruto awakened the system, he had reached 10 on all his stats. The EXP he had received both as a quest reward as well as for successfully learning the Jutsus had helped him level up to Level 2 which had not only increased each of his attributes but also provide him sit 4 extra Attribute Points. When he had asked the system about it, the response he got was to add it to his Intelligence which made his studying slightly easier.

He also complete the Quest that required him to raise his stats rewarding 500 EXP + 10 SP + the Rope Escape Jutsu, which he mastered quickly. This triggered another quest which needed him to raise his stats up to 50 and within six months this time.  This proved to be more of a challenge this time as his current training style capped his growth.

As Naruto had grown friendly with Kurama in the last few weeks, Kurama told him about the Namikaze Compound that belonged to his father, Minato. That night, Naruto snuck around the village into his father's home.

"Naruto, place a drop of your blood on the gates and the seal will be released," said Kurama.

"The seal must be around to keep thiefs away," muttered Naruto.

Naruto took a kunai that he had bought last week and cut his thumb. He winced from the pain but quickly held his hand over the gate. As a drop of his blood fell on the gate, with a poof of smoke, it opened. Naruto looked at his thumb only to see the cut he had made seconds ago already healing at a visible pace.

Putting away his kunai, Naruto walked in to the Namikaze Compound. It was considerably smaller than the Uchiha and Hyuuga Compounds, only having a few rooms, however, Naruto instantly liked it. It made him feel very comfortable and relaxed as he walked around with a lamp.

After exploring for a bit, Naruto found himself in the biggest room in the entire compound, the library. Now this is the room Naruto had been looking for as it contained many, many scrolls on Taijutsu, on Ninjutsu that was divided on by rank and placed on their allocated shelves. There were a large shelf that had scrolls and books covering both Sealing Jutsu and Sword Arts. There were also many journals and diaries that of the clan that Minato must have collected along with Kushina and stored here. Considering that each one of them were among the last of their clans, and considering the Namikaze were a civillian clan, Minato must have planned to rebuild a clans together with the Uzumaki clan here in Konoha.

After looking through the shelves, Naruto finally decided to open the scrolls that recorded his father's personal Taijutsu Style that he had created. It appeared to be a mix of the Strong Fist, the Uchiha's Interceptor Fist and the Hyuga'a Gentle Fist Styles that primarily focused on the Pressure Points instead of the Chakra Points the Hyuga's Gentle Fist targeted. The Style was based on predicting and avoiding the enemy's attacks with strong and fast counter attacks on their pressure points.

Following the scrolls instructions and Kurama's guidance, Naruto resumed his training with an increased intensity. Alongside his training, Naruto also wore small weights to increase his muscle mass and speed.

Within the scrolls that had Minato's Taijutsu Style, there was a portion that explained muscle development. It explained there were three types of muscles. First was what he called Red Muscles had great endurance level but low power level while the White Muscle had high power, but lacked in speed and endurance. The third type, he explained, was the Pink Muscle that is a hybrid of the two. With proper training, one can get free their body of both Red and White Muscles and fill their body entirely of Pink Muscle. This will ultimately form the perfect body as the said person would not have huge muscles but will still attain massive amounts of strength, speed and endurance. This will make one more powerful overall and more fitting to dealing with an opponent in any given situation.

The scroll went on to say that creating Pink Muscle is more difficult than either Red or White Muacles. It then went on to provide a training regime on how to create the Pink Muscles and a specific diet plan that would supplement the intensity of the training.

Thus, Naruto's training resumed with an increased. As usual, he would spend his mornings in the library under the Transformation Jutsu and study all the books. In the afternoon, he would resume his Taijutsu training.

Just like that, two whole years had passed and Naruto became as strong as a high-level Gennin at the mere age of 6. He had long managed to study all the books in the Konoha library. About a month after Naruto started training in his father's personalised Taijutsu Style, Kurama had taught Naruto the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Given his rediculously high Chakra reserves, Naruto did not have a problem with creating hundreds of clones. With this, he had created a hundred clones and divided them into ten groups of ten. He had sent one group to the library. The group Naruto was in was busy training in Taijutsu. He had taked the other eight groups to train in Kenjutsu, Ninjutsu, Sealing Jutsus, Chakra Control, Pink Muscle development and learning how to use Kunai and Shuriken. As for the remaining two groups, they would spar with each other using Taijutsu and Kenjutsu.

Now three years later, Naruto had grown both in strength and in height. Although he was still seven years old, his physique was that of a nine years old. He had also Leveled-Up from all that intensive training he had undertaken. However, the biggest improvement that had taken was his intelligence and wisdom. With all that studying as well as the additional Atrribute Points he had gained from those Level-Ups, he had distributed them purely on Intelligence and Wisdom.

After a morning's training sessions, Naruto was walking to his favourite Ramen stand when he heard a couple of kids arguing with each other. Curious, he walked up closer to them. He found three older kids who seemed to be bullying a smaller girl who appeared to be around his age. She had neck length dark blue hair and white eyes, trademark of the Hyuga Clan. Deciding to help her out, he ran up to them.

"Hey, leave her alone," said Naruto, jumping in front of the boys, shielding the girl from them.

"If it isn't Mr. Hero. Get lost kid before I hurt you too," they said.

"If you don't scram, I'll break your arm!" said Naruto in a threatening tone.

"Look at Mr. Scary! Let's teach him a lesson!" said one of the boys as all three pushed forward.

The boy at the front launched a punch at Naruto's face, to which he simply dodged and held the boy's wrist. Holding the wrist firm with one hand, he striked with his fist at the boy's elbow joint. There was a loud crunch before the screamed his lungs out, holding his arm. Not letting this opportunity pass, Naruto stepped in and delivered an uppercut at the second boy's chin, sending him tumbling down on his backside. Taking the third boy by surprise with his speed, Naruto quickly sent a right him on his jaw which broke a few of his teeth.

All three boys were groaning and crying as each of them held their respective injuries.

Naruto turned to the girl and asked, "Are you OK?"

"I'm f-fine t-thank y-you," the girl stuttered.

Naruto was not sure if the girl was scared or just shy.

"Anytime. I'm Naruto Uzumaki. What's your name?" asked Naruto.

"H-Hinata H-Hyuga," she replied.

 "Here let me help you up," said Naruto, grabbing Hinata's hand and gently pulling her up.

Naruto remembered hearing that the Hyuga Heiress was his age and that caged bird was not on her forehead, meaning that the girl in front of her was the little Heiress of the Hyuga Clan; Konoha's Little Princess.

"I'm going to Ichiraku's for Ramen, want to come?" asked Naruto.

Hinata slowly nodded and began walking together with him. She noticed how all the villagers glared at Naruto and she wondered why. Since Hinata was extremely shy, they didn't talk at all and walked in silence. Once they both arrived at the Ramen store, Naruto ordered two chicken Ramen for the both of them.

"Oh, Naruto, is this your girlfriend?" asked a young girl behind the counter teasingly.

The girl's name was Ayame and she was in her teens. She had brown hair with a pretty face.

"What's wrong, Ayame?" asked Naruto with a smirk. "Don't tell me you've fallen for the handsome magical me! If you want I could take you out on a date and you could become my girlfriend!"

"You little cheeky ... You're good looking Naruto, but you're a little too young for me," said Ayame. "Sorry, Naruto."

"Hmph! Just give me my Ramen, hmph!" said Naruto, clearly annoyed.

Naruto is beaten black and blue by a mob as a child and he awakens a mysterious entity that acts as his emotional support during his difficult childhood.

As he slowly gets stronger, he finds out about his heritage and vows to right all the wrongs done to him.
