This is based on real stories happened when I was a kid.



As the long summer days linger in our memories, nature rests her rainbow palette. In their place she brings out the colours of beach and woodland, soothing us into a quiet reflection. We walk through pictures shown so beautifully by the winter sun; each as bathed in love as the one before. Be it the blue of sea or sky, or every shade of brown from almost white to almost black, it brings a peaceful harmony. Yet in this choir of colours, mother nature keeps by a little green, a little red, for the holly tree, the evergreens and robins. And after this rest, this deep breath of cool fresh air, we are ready for the sweet mischief of spring.

Under a dove grey sky the colours of world don Jake's winter coats, each hue darker and richer than before as he looked on the path which sparkles and crunches, like sugar underfoot, and the coolness brings him right into the now, into the moment of life. Though the flowers sleep and the trees show their lofty arms once more, a smile plays upon these cold pink lips of his. For as much as he loved the summertime, he love the winter more. For every perfume of the meadow, there is the earthy loam of the newly-lit forest floor.

Breath pale against the numbing air, he blinked thoughtfully as the frost patiently kissed his face, captivated by the soft, dusty illusions of light that sat heavy on his eyelashes. He adored the snow, he always adored the snow, moreso when it was falling.

"This party rocks" Someone shouted from the house which he sat in front of. The music was so loud that it made his skin tingle and his lungs feel like mush. The bass thumped in time with his heart beat as though they were one, filling him from head to toe with music. He always loved this song. It was his favorite.

Over the roar of music, he still did not feel like going in and dancing his heart out like he always loved to do. Somehow he felt different. The song that was playing got louder, trying to pull him in with it's beats and lyrics, but still he felt too stiff to give in. 

It was a house party thrown by the Head boy of Free land high, one of the best schools known in Arizona. The party was planned for the main purpose of celebrating the end of the recent exams. The party did not really seem like a normal school party but it was in fact, the opposite. It was more like the bad stuffs people do in a bar. So if you have any idea of what it looked and maybe felt like, then you would know that what exactly they were doing in that party would be enough to make an angel faint.

Jake sat in front of the house where the party was being held. He still did not want to party that night, although he came here to 'have fun'.

Normally he loved going to parties, getting the chance to while away time and f*ck any ass he lays his hands on. He never had problems with that because that was his life and yeah he had food looks. So he won't deny the fact that girls drool over him.

But tonight was different. He did not know why but somehow he felt so different.

He pulled out a cigarette from his pockets and lit it, taking in the smoke and exhaling it from both his nose and mouth. He closed his eyes as he tried remembering the stories his mother always loved telling him when it was the Christmas season. A tear fell as he remembered his mother.

They say sadness is behind anger, yet anger never comes unless in direct self defence, and so perhaps he could credit this natural passivity with his willingness to cry and feel pain, to let the sorrow teach him more about his true nature and how fragile we humans are. 

He was not always like this, he never was. He was not the type that always goes to parties, waste his time and life. But this was all the death of his mother had done to him, she had left with his happiness and love for Christmas. And now all he felt for Christmas was hate because it was this seasons that had brought in the jaws of death on his mother and had taken her away from him. It was this season that had denied him the joy of having a mother.

Cleaning the tears that were falling down his cheeks, he looked up to the darkened sky, remembering the days when he once had love for Christmas.

The days when his mother will sit with him on his little bed telling him stories on Christmas as those were the only memories he had of her.

And he treasured them with all he had.


Eleven years ago


"Mama, please tell me a Christmas story" Little Jake pleaded as he climbed on his mother's lap.

"You always want me to tell you a story baby. Ain't you scared that one day I will run out of stories to tell?" His mother said as she tickled him, laughing as he was being tickled.

"I will not kind Mama, I will just have to keep listening to them again and again" He said as he hugged his mother.

"Alright my dear. I will tell you a story. This story is one of my favorites and maybe it will be yours too. Now listen and listen very clearly. Will you do that for your mother?"

"Yes mother" He said as he clapped his hands, looking at his mother's face as she cleared her throat.

"It was a beautiful December day" She began, "with clear blue sky and snow-covered treetops. Christmas was in the air but up in Santa's lodge, all was quiet. The usual hustle and bustle of preparing Christmas presents had gone for Santa had fallen ill. "Oh dear, what will the children say when they don't receive presents this year," Santa wondered sadly as he lay on his bed. 

Suddenly, he heard a noise from outside. He looked out of his window and saw his four reindeer standing patiently as usual. But they seemed quite out of breath as if they had just finished a long trip. And as Santa took a closer look, he could not believe what he saw. For behind the reindeer was a long train of sleds carrying little children dressed in all sorts of colors.

One by one, they hopped out onto the snow and headed towards Santa's lodge. Soon came a knock on the door. "Come in," Santa called out as he was extremely curious. In came a little girl, hugging something soft in her arms. "I heard that you were sick Mr. Santa," she began. "So, I'm giving you my teddy bear to keep you company." "Thank you little Emma," said Santa as he knew every child by name.

Then entered a young boy with a red package in his arms. "We knew that you were ill, Papa Santa," he said. "So my family knitted this quilt for you to keep you warm in the winter days." "What a wonderful thought Paul," beamed Santa patting him on the head.  

And on by one, the children came in through Santa's door, each with a special gift to wish Santa well. There were cookies, pies, socks, mittens, books, jigsaw puzzles, and even a small Christmas tree! "Christmas delivered to my doorstep!" exclaimed Santa. "Come, let us all share these wonderful gifts." And he gathered the children around him in a big circle.

"Santa, which present did you like the most?" Emma soon piped up. "My dear little ones, it is the love and kindness that each one of you has shown me today. That is the best present of all!" Santa said smiling. He looked fondly at all the eager faces around him. "This, my little ones is the true meaning of Christmas," Santa said.

And with that, Santa gave each of the children a big, warm holiday hug. 

The End" She said as she smiled at her son whom still looked at her, expecting her to continue with the story.

"But Mama this story does not really interest me this night. I have heard alot of stories about Santa. Please tell me something different?"

"Fine! I will. But promise me that after this it will be over?"

"If I like it Mama" he responded.

" Ok then, I will call this story THE LITTLEST ELF"

"Oliver was an elf. He lived with his family in the North Pole. There were many elves in the Santa's village, but Oliver was the littlest one. It was Christmas time and Oliver was excited. This year, he would discover his special job at one of Santa's workshops. He just needed to visit each shop to see which one was the right fit.

At the toy workshop where his mom worked, Oliver tried to make cuddly teddy bears. But he got lost in the huge stuffing piles! "Oliver?" an elf asked. Oliver's mom said, "I think you are too little for the toy workshop. Why don't you try helping your dad at the bicycle workshop instead?

So, Oliver went to Santa's bicycle workshop. "I'm ready to help," he said. Oliver watched as the elves added wheels and seats and handlebars and bells. But the tools were very big for Oliver's little hands. "Maybe bakery is your special job," his father told him. "You should visit your brother at the bakery next!"

Off Oliver went to the bakery. These elves made sugarplum cookies and candy cane squares! But when Oliver tried to stir the cookie dough, he fell into the giant mixing bowl. "Oliver, look out!" one of the elves shouted. "Sorry, Ollie!" his brother said. "You're too little for the bakery. Maybe your special job is at the bookmaker's shop."

Oliver arrived at the last of the Santa's workshops where his sister worked. The bookmakers there wrote the amazing stories and drew wonderful pictures. "Can I help?" Oliver asked. "Of course!" the elves replied. But the inkpot was too deep and the stack of papers was very tall. "Oh Ollie," his sister cried. Bookmaking was harder and messier than it looked.

Oliver wandered through the North Pole. He was sad. Oliver knew there had to be one special job he could do even if he was little. Then he heard a sound of hooves clattering at the stables. Inside, a herd of reindeer had gathered to meet Dot, the new reindeer. She was little just like Oliver.

Dot was very excited to help flying Santa's sleigh. She practiced for the big night by jumping and hopping and leaping, but she could not fly. The reindeer's mama gave her a gentle kiss. Dot was still too little. Dot was very sad. Oliver wanted to cheer her up. He dug in his pockets to find a treat for Dot, but instead he found little trinkets from each workshop he had visited. Just then, he had an idea!

Oliver and Dot used the tiny trinket to make the ornaments, cards and fun decorations for all the hardworking elves in the village. The littlest elf and the littlest reindeer filled the sleigh with their Christmas treats. They delivered the presents to all the workshops. The elves loved their special gifts.

Soon, Santa came to see what all the fuss was about! He watched as Oliver and Dot made everyone smile. Suddenly, Santa had an idea. "Oliver and Dot, with your big hearts and great Christmas cheer, won't you be my very important helpers this year?" asked Santa. Oliver and Dot had found their special jobs after all! But more important, they had each found a special friend!

The End"

She ended as she looked at her son again but still, there was no sign of him going to sleep nor did he seem satisfied with the stories she had told him.

"Mother, I want to hear something different, a story that relates to Christmas. A story that will seem so real and one I will never forget. I do not want to hear of Santa anymore" You said as he folded his arms.

His mother looked at him and sighed.

"Do you believe in magic?" She asked him, causing the little Chile to look up at her in utter surprise.

" I do not Mama, my friends say it is lame" He replied as he looked away.

" The Christmas Spirit does not entail you believing what your friends believe but it entails believing what you think is right. I never will force you to believe what you don't want to believe but I will tell you a story of a far away land. A land you never thought will ever exist.

" A land where magic runs and where snow falls unceasingly. I will tell you how the winter season originated and why this land is so special. It is left for you to believe what you hear because I can never force you to believe what you do not want to believe. 

"I will tell you about Marixona, the birthplace of winter"


Jake Norman, a free life teenager is a very handsome guy who always attracts girls wherever he is or goes even if it is in school or outside school.

He goes to parties and does whatever he likes, not even minding his own future. 

When he comes back from a party and suddenly found a very beautiful girl lying close to the city's christmas tree being that it was the season of Christmas.

He was so struck by her beauty that he carried her to his home and took care of her till she had nursed back to health. She disappeared as soon as she awakes and Jake thought she had run away.

But each night she visits, keeping him company every night and never leaving his side till it is morning. He suddenly falls in love with her without knowing and his life to him seems a lot beautiful with her.

But on the night before Christmas she never came but instead, a floating box comes to his room. He opens it and this brings him to another world.

And there he learns the truth about her, who she was and why she felt so mysterious to him, but she needed to be saved from her uncle who imprisoned her. Will he save her? Will he change his mind of saving her after learning the truth about her?

Will he leave her to die?

Will he ever see her again?

Chapter 92



Title: A Little Garden...

Naruto goes amongst the Baroque Agents like they are nothing. Either immobilizing or killing them.

He would use <Tekkai> on any attacks that he couldn't dodge and he was still unscathed by any of the attacks.

His fighting style was most suited when fighting a group of enemies. 


…
Zoro was fighting his own battles too, but he had a little blood coming out of his forehead as he was punched by Igaram's partner.


"Damn… this is troublesome." Thinks Zoro out loud.


Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow!....


A gale of bullets comes at him once more so he has to hide behind a building. Unlike Naruto, he isn't bullet resistant. Bullets will hurt him just like other humans. 


….
But while Naruto was doing that, a certain rather tall and fat man with big lips, and wears a green shirt that covers most of his body with black pants and gray running shoes. He is Mr.4 and he had been sent to deal with Vivi, he was upon one of the hills as he looks at Naruto going through enemies like paper.


"He… uhhh… he … is… strong." Says Mr.4 in a slow and dimwitted manner. 


That is when a middle-aged woman with a stout and red hair comes from underground. She wears a necktie that resembles a Christmas tree, which goes with her codename. Other notable attire includes a large pair of purple lensed sunglasses, a basket strapped to her back, and sandals.

She is Mr.4's partner, codename, Miss Merry Christmas. "He is dangerous, his Devil Fruit ability is even more dangerous than him. He just needs to touch something and it will separate, either making them immobile or killing them. So we must deal with him at a long-range distance."


That is when a dog-cannon thing appears next to them. 

"Well, the kid should be taken out at a long distance. Then we can go and deal with princess Nefertari Vivi." Says Miss Merry Christmas. 


Mr.4 nods at this and gets ready to shoot a baseball.



….

Naruto at the same time just separates another head from a Baroque Agent, but suddenly a chill descends upon his spine. His Observation Haki had never been too advanced like that of his siblings, but when an attack has even the chance of being a danger to his life, he can sense it.


That is one of those times when something is truly a danger, so he jumps back as much as he can.


Not even a second later and in the place where he stood before.


BOOOOM!!!!


It's engulfed by a giant explosion. 


'Sh*t, that was a big explosion.' Exclaims Naruto, that would have definitely injured him if it hit. His eyes look towards where the explosion came from and he narrows his eyes. He can see the figure of two people and…


'A moving weapon?' Wonders Naruto, he hasn't seen one of those in quite a while. Ever since his dad kept some around for the younger children to play with and learn how to handle weapons. That way, the weapons have some intelligence and the children won't be hurt by it.


..
Still, Naruto uses <Geppo> to fly off and go towards Mr.4 and Miss Merry Christmas.


"Wha?... he flying?" Questions Mr.4 in his usual dimwitted manner.



"Prepare to attack him again. If he gets close we are done." Says Miss Merry Christmas.


Pow!

Another cannon-baseball is thrown at Naruto who sees it coming towards him and his body moves strangely as if it's made of rubber.

He dodges the attacks that are thrown at him and blitzes use his devil fruit. 


<Zipper Bloody Decapitation>


Two heads fly in the air as Naruto just looks at the cute dog below him. 


Naruto puts his foot on the dog's head and bursts it like a watermelon. He wouldn't trust anything that was made by an enemy. The dog might seem like an animal, but animal zoan weapons always have a loyalty to a certain person.



….
When Naruto returns back, he sees that Zoro and Luffy are fighting. But Nami interrupts them by punching them in the face. She then shows them Vivi and explains to them the situation that they are in, and how she plans to save Vivi.


They sit down and talk about a deal, but at that time Vivi accidentally tells them the names of Baroque Works' Boss, Mr.0, or also known as Crocodile. 

That is when a strange bird and raccoon looking thing show up. They draw the faces of the Strawhats. They try to fly away, but Naruto casually kills them both as he uses <Geppo> to fly, in tandem with his devil fruit.


"This should keep us in the unknown for a while." Says Naruto with a serious look on his face. He knows just how dangerous a Shichibukai can be, true, for his stronger siblings, most of the Shichibukai are nothing but a rabble. But to him, they are all dangerous.


….
Later on, they set sail, Igaram tries to be a decoy, but his ship immediately explodes. Naruto and the others board and go forth to Little Garden.


….
During the encounter with Nico Robin, Naruto is asleep and so is Dead Cat. They didn't sleep at all during the last night as they fought/stole from Baroque Works.



….
As they arrive in Little Garden, Naruto is told of the encounter. But he seemed bored by it, he is a man of action. He doesn't care about such silly things.


….

"Woah this looks pretty cool!!!" Exclaims Naruto as he sees a T-Rex growling at the ship. Naruto then opens a zipper in his abdomen and Dead Cat jumps inside.


"I am going guys, see ya later." Exclaims Naruto as he jumps to the T-Rex that was growling at him.


Baam!!!


He kicks the T-Rex in the face, knocking him out. "Bahahahahahaha… you are all weaklings. I am gonna beat every cool dinosaur on this island and eat them."

He then grabs the T-Rex by his tail and starts dragging the creature. "I have never eaten a T-Rex before. Let's see how you taste."


….

While Naruto is cooking the T-Rex, he is confronted by a man with his hair having the form of a number 3. He looks at the man and he sees the number on top of his head. 


"Oh, so you must be number three then?" Asks Naruto as he tilts his head to the side.


"Heh, of co-"


<Soru>


Baam!!!


Naruto just knocks him out with a punch to the head and goes back to eating T-Rex meat. "Well, that is that now. These Baroque Agents are weak."

*munch*


Miss Valentine saw this and her face paled as she saw Naruto easily take out Nr.3… she didn't even approach. Due to a certain event in the past, where she and her partner arrogantly attacked a Marine warship she has been careful when she picks her opponents. Her partner died, and she was only able to survive due to luck. 


'I need to fake my death and run away, at least then Baroque Work won't chase me.' Contemplates Miss Valentine.

When Blake and Amy returned to Lake Miranda the week before Christmas, snow blanketed the compound.  After the lake froze solid, and Scotts students either hiked to the island or were shuttled by snowmobile.  

His last session before the holidays ended just before Blake and Amy came home, but the lodge had guests scheduled throughout Christmas and New Years.  Trina and the restaurant staff came up with a festive holiday menu, and Walkers on the Lake was completely booked for both holidays.  

When Jackie called her parents to ask about their holiday plans, she was surprised to find out that the elder Walkers had reservations for a Christmas cruise to the Caribbean.  Your father just couldnt stand the thought of all that snow, Ann laughed.  You all have a wonderful holiday!

Blake and Amy agreed to spend Christmas at Jackie and Scotts house, the better to enjoy the kids excitement on Christmas morning.  The day after they returned, Scott and Blake took Grant and Emma snowmobiling in the forest to find a proper Christmas tree to set up in the window of Scott and Jackies family room.  

  On Christmas Eve, after the kids had gone to bed, the adults gathered around the enormous festively decorated white spruce.  Light Christmas jazz played in the background, and outside the floor to ceiling windows, snow swirled lazily in the half moonlight.  

Jackie handed Amy a mug of warm mulled cider and settled beside her on a leather sofa with a mug of her own.  On the floor, Scott and Blake sat amid the scattered pieces of a pink Barbie house Santa had found on sale months earlier and had put away until now.  

Winking at Amy, Jackie suppressed a smile.  Did you guys read the instructions?

We dont need the damn instructions, Blake huffed, pushing a stray lock of dark hair out of his eyes.  Were two intelligent, grown men.  We can figure out how to put together a dollhouse.

The women clinked their mugs and giggled gleefully.

Amy looked from Blake and Scott to the twinkling Christmas tree, and to Jackie.  I love this.  Her voice was soft, and though she smiled, a tear was in her eye.  This is the Christmas I always wanted.

Jackies heart melted, and she reached for Amys hand.  Im so happy youre here.

Blake pushed up from the floor and pressed a tender kiss to Amys temple.  This is our life, kitten.  This is our family, your family.  You belong here.  

Jackie smiled across the room at Scott, who winked at her, and she felt a familiar tummy flutter.  She loved the man more than shed thought humanly possible.  And when summer came, shed marry him.  

After Blake and Amy retired to the guest room, Scott and Jackie went to bed, quietly making love, then holding each other until late into the night.  

They awoke to a bright sunny day, the sky crystal cerulean, the sun reflecting brilliantly off the sparkling snow.  Emma and Grant squealed excitedly as they saw the mountain of gifts under the tree.  Scott sat at the end of the sofa and Jackie snuggled up beside him, each of them sipping steaming mugs of coffee.  Blake and Amy sat opposite them on the sofas twin, smiling as they watched the children tearing into their gifts.

Once they were finished, the kids had fun delivering gifts to the adults.  Finally, all the gifts were opened.  Blake and Amy gave each other a conspiratorial look.  We have a few more gifts, Amy said.

More? Jackie echoed, thinking of the extravagant handbag for her, and the top of the line boots for Scott.  Youve done so much already, seriously.

Blake reached behind the sofa and picked up four identical shirt boxes wrapped in metallic red paper.  He glanced at the tags and handed one to each of the children and to Jackie and Scott.

Amy leaned forward excitedly.  You have to open them all together.  Ready?  One, two, three!

With a bemused glance at Scott, Jackie carefully opened her box.  Grant and Emma ripped theirs open.  Its a shirt, Emma said, holding up a pink t-shirt.  

Grant peered into the box.  Thanks, Aunt Amy, he said, making an effort to sound enthused about a shirt.  It sure ispink.

Scott tilted his head as he looked at his, then elbowed Jackie lightly.  She looked at his, then gaped at hers.  In sparkling letters across pink cotton, she read, Worlds Greatest Aunt.

Jackie gasped.  I knew it!  I knew you were pregnant!  Im so excited for you! she squealed, rushing over to give Amy and Blake a big hug.

 We didnt want to tell anyone until we knew everything was going to be okay, Amy explained.  

Cool, Grant said, pulling his new shirt over his head, were going to be cousins!

Aunt Amy, are you having a boy baby or a girl baby? Emma asked.

Blake grinned.  Its a little girl.  Thats why we gave you pink shirts.

Congratulations, man!  Scott grinned as Blake stood and the two embraced.  Thats great news.

I cant believe it.  He shook his head.  Im going to be a dad.

Jackie sank onto the sofa beside Amy.  A little girl, she shook her head smiling.  Thats fantastic.

Amy nodded, eyes shining.  Do you want to see the ultrasound pictures?

Ill get them, Blake said, heading in the direction of the guest room.

Grant and Emma returned to their new toys.  Scott perched on the arm of the sofa next to Jackie.  Im so happy for you two, he told Amy.  She laughed happily.  

From the direction of the guest room, they heard a tiny yip.  Jackie frowned.  What was that?

Eyes wide, Amy gave an exaggerated shrug.  I have no idea.

Uh oh, Blake called from the guest room.  I think I found another present.

Jackie looked up to see a shaggy black puppy with a huge red bow come running into the room.  He ran straight to the kids, yipping excitedly.

A puppy, Emma squealed.

Grant squinted at the tag on the big red bow and gasped.  Mom!  Its for us, from Santa!

Blake leaned against the doorway looking pleased with himself.  

From Santa, huh?

I think Grandma and Grandpa might have mentioned it to the big guy, Blake grinned.

Oh, for f Jackie glanced up at Scott.  Did you know about this?

He raised his hands in surrender.  I promise, I knew nothing about a puppy.

They love Bear so much, they need one of their own, Amy said, smiling.

So, what are you going to name him? Blake asked.

Brow furrowed, Grant watched the Newfie puppy for a moment.  Max.  He looks like a Max to me.

Ruffling the puppys ears, Emma nodded enthusiastically.  Yeah.  Max.

Jackie shook her head.  Hes cute, Ill give you that.  But I still want to see those ultrasound pictures of my niece.

Hello there! I'm taking this week off (Plus this weekend) to write for a Halloween writing contest. As you might have guessed, I'm writing spooky stories for the contest. I know, quite disappointing that I have to stop this for a week just to write a spooky story, but I want to win the contest and all Valerie would do is distract me because I love Valerie more than I love Alaho. (Please don't come and kill me in my sleep Ala)
My break was only supposed to be Friday Saturday and Sunday, but the writing contest came in. If you just like my writing style in general and don't care what it is that I'm writing, here's chapter one of Alaho Christmas.
Chapter 1- Not so fake scary story
On a newspaper sat the headline " 1990 Man mugged in an alley and face cut to pieces while shopping for Christmas toys".
The little section dedicated to the now-dead man read "his eyes were popped out and his face cut open to look like Freddy Cougars face." If you flipped a couple of pages in the newspaper you would find a headline that said "Dead man's body lost".
In 1995 there was a new newspaper with a headline of  "Son of Alaho, who was mugged and killed in 1990, hung himself".
In his little section, it read "his dying wish was to be with his father, who had been dead for 5 years."
Modern-day 2020, some girls were having a sleepover near Christmas time, and one of them thought it would be funny to make up a fake scary story about Alaho, the weird faced dead guy her grandfather told her about.
"Alright girls, gather around. It's time for the best part of a sleepover." Said a girl named Mia "Scary stories!"
An excited group of girls came running and screaming, then sat down in a circle with Mia.
"So, ever heard the story of…  Alaho Christmas?" A flush of "no's" filled the room.
"Well, here it goes." The room quieted down, eager to listen to the story of Alaho Christmas. "So, one night while this guy named Alaho was shopping, he was mugged and killed in an alley."
Whispers wavered under Mia's words.
"His face looked like Freddy Cougars, but he didn't have a mask or eyes or nails. When they were planning his funeral his body wasn't found. Now they say every December 15, he'll come out and steal all the children's clothes and toys, and kill them." Silence filled the room.
"Is there a way to stop him?" One of the girls asked.
"Yes, if you put a toy train on your door, he won't go in and kill you then take your toys and clothes".
One little girl had a question that she couldn't stop from coming out. "Why is he killing children, where is he taking their clothes and toys, how will a toy train stop him?''
Mia laughed hysterically "Oh sweet Ava, he is killing children in order to bring his child back, his only son hung himself 5 years after Alaho's death. He is taking the dead children, the toys, and the clothes to an old abandoned house that used to be his. He takes it there as if he was taking the toys to his already dead son like he was still alive and still living in their old house. A toy train will stop him because that was his son's favorite toy, and it was the toy that was stolen from him in 1990." The girls looked scared, and Mia didn't know why. She was never scared of scary movies and scary stories. She didn't believe they were real, as they weren't.
'Even IT is scarier than this story and I fell asleep watching it. Michael Mayers would crush this story and he makes me think of a bunny.' Mia thought to herself and rolled her eyes while the other girl shook in fear waiting to hear the next part of the story.
In truth her friends were scaredy cats, the story was hardly scary yet they were shivering in fear.
"Well, ladies next Friday the 15th, I hope someone has a toy train." Mia said in a somewhat spooky voice.
The girls screamed and Mia's mom Ms.Lynn walked in.
"What's wrong girls?! What happened?" Ms.Lynn walked in with a still-hot frying pan.
"Oh nothing mom, I just told them a scary story." Mia got up and went to hug her mother.
"Oh, of course, sweetie. It's time for bed girls." Ms.Lynn went to turn on Mia's lamp so that the girls could sleep without being as scared.
"Good night Ms.Lynn." the girls said in unison.
"Good night mom." came from Mia.
"Good night girls, good night sweetie." Ms.Lynn said as she closed Mia's bedroom door.
The next morning the girls left, they all told their parents and sisters and brothers about the story Mia told them. They all looked terrified and told them they wouldn't have to worry because it wasn't true.
One of the girls left their pajamas in Mia's house and she went back to get them. Her brother turned around and chuckled. Then he looked up and saw a man without eyes that looked like Freddy Cougar but without claws or a mask. The man had a blank expression.
He screamed and ran in the opposite direction. He went to Mia's parents and he brought everyone outside. They saw nothing and thought he was pranking them.
"Ah good one son. Next time go bigger, make us just a little scared at least." Mr.Lynn said to the 18-year-old.
He looked shocked, but everyone disguarded it thinking it part of the prank.
"Come on sis, let's get away from lease crazy people." He rushed his little sister into the car and pulled off instantly.
"What was his problem Mama?" Mia asked her mother and looked at her father because she would accept an answer from him as well.
"Teenage boys love to play pranks sweetie." Ms.Lynn said as she locked the front door and headed to the kitchen to start preparing breakfast.
"Oh, well I'm going upstairs to play with my toys. Call me down when it's breakfast please mom." declared Mia as she walked upstairs.
At the time she was only 8, but she wished to become a nurse and she loved playing nurse with her dolls.
She heard footsteps and thought it was her dad coming upstairs so she ignored it and kept playing with her dolls.
Soon enough she heard breathing and thought her dad had choked on something and needed help.
"Daddy, are you okay? Do you need help?" She had her door closed so she opened her door and peeked her head out.
"What was that darling?" Her father asked by yelling up the stairs.
"Oh nothing daddy, I'm just playing." She thought she was just hearing things and so she went back to playing with her dolls.
(Yes I know this isn't scary, but it's chapter one. What did you expect, also yes I did come up with his name and what he does as a vengeful undead man.)

Today is kind of a big day. It's the last day before Christmas break and tonight is the annual Grand Central Christmas festival. Every year the city comes together to celebrate festivities in our Downtown area. I don't enjoy big crowds of people so I tend to not enjoy my time there but I go for the sake of my parents happiness. 

I continued down the stairs heading for the kitchen to grab a bite to eat before making my commute to school. Just before entering the kitchen I could hear my Father and Mother exchanging words. 

"Did you hear about the incident yesterday at the oil refinery? No survivors just lifeless corpses left about the premises." My father said just before I entered the room. 

"You don't think it could be...." My mother paused as I entered the room. "Oh good morning Aiga!"

"What happened at the refinery yesterday Dad? Any cool bad guy but kicking stories?!" I asked my father enthusiastically. 

My Father's name is Richard Demitrius and is the Administrator of the Grand Central Detective agency the best of the best in the whole city. On a regular basis my Father shares stories with me about the crazy things he encounters on call. 

Just as I went to ask my father again about the incident he cut me off. "Oh nothing to worry about Aiga! How about some eggs and bacon? Your mother made sunny side up today!" 

That was pretty weird I thought. Most cases my Father has no issue sharing with me details and such. Whatever though he probably just hasn't filled out a case report yet and wants to make sure all the details are correct before he shares them with me. 

I grabbed a plate from the cabinet and began to fill my plate with 2 eggs, 4 slices of bacon, and a slice of buttered toast. So delicious. 

"So Aiga are you excited for the Christmas festival tonight? I'm running a crafts booth and I hear that all of your teachers and classmates will be there as well."  

"Bummer...." I thought to myself as I really didn't associate with anyone from my class.

My mothers name is Alice Demitrius and for most of my life she has been a jack of all trades. She has been everything from teacher to police officer. My mother really is incredible. Now she spends most of her days teaching children to craft charms.

"Of course!" I replied just to please my mother. 

I scarfed down my breakfast as usual and placed my plate into the sink. My mother was nice enough to clean up after me before school since I woke up so late for school. 

I began to head for the front door to put my shoes on and head out for school. Just as I reached for the door I turned to my parents. 

"Bye Mom! Bye Dad!" 

But before I could leave I noticed my mother approaching me from the kitchen. She stood before me and grabbed my hand placing a charm in my palm. 

"Aiga stay safe today." 

"Gotcha!" I replied enthusiastically with a smile. 

Then I headed out the door to begin my day. 


For 17 year old Aiga life was seemingly normal. That was until he encountered his first Demon. Now things have begun to change dramatically... and fast! With newly gained Powers, Friends, and Enemies will Aiga finally discover his true purpose in this world?

You've found my story! Thank you so much for reading. This is something new I am trying. Something about me is that I have a weird obsession with writing prompt books and writing prompts in general. They can be from Pinterest or websites, or anywhere really. It is a way to get writing practice and it is just generally fun for me. 
Although this work is more of a sandbox for me, I hope you have fun reading it. My only stipulations are that my works all take place in winter (i.e. Christmas time) and of course they cover the given prompt(s). I know that it is past Christmas as I am writing this, this is such a fun time of year for me. I have always enjoyed writing stories about this time of year to this is going to be a place I can come all year to just go all Hallmark until my whole heart is content.

This is just me (DE Adams) doing holiday and other prompts for fun.

" Hmm, today is 25th of December, do you know what that means, Mikasa?" asked Asriel.

" Un? What does it mean, Eru?" asked Mikasa slightly tilting her head to the left.

" It means today is Christmas! And it's a white Christmas too!" replied Asriel energetically.

" Christ.....mas?" asked a confused Mikasa.

" Ah right, you don't know about it," said Asriel with a wry smile.

" Come, let me tell you a story," said Asriel while gesturing Mikasa to sit on his lap. It was December 25th 2 years before they head off to register as cadets. Asriel and Mikasa were sitting outside near a campfire, resting after a long day of hard work doing various errands for the caretakers while snow slowly falls down from the sky.

Mikasa gladly sat on his lap and made herself comfortable, digging into his chest. Asriel covered her up with his coat in a tight embrace making it warm and cozy for Mikasa. She cooed lightly, feeling his warmth, she wished that she could stay like this forever.

Asriel gently petted her head and continued his story.

" Once upon a time, there was a man named Santa Claus. He wears a red cap, red suit, and a red modified ODM gear, he also had a big white beard. He would go around using his ODM gear, zipping around from house to house, climbing into their chimneys to deliver presents, consisting of toys, made by his little helpers called elves, to all the good children of the world." (Asriel)

" He sounds like a robber instead..." said Mikasa between her 'Mnn' s and 'Nnnn' s from being petted.

" Hahaha he does, and for those who are naughty, he would give them charcoals." (Asriel)

" I'd rather, Nnnn, have charcoal during, Mnn, this winter, the naughty kids are the real winners, Mnnn....." said Mikasa, rubbing her face in his chest. Asriel looked at her with a wry smile but continued petting her head. She was too cute that he couldn't stop.

" Anyway.....one day there was a titan with green skin, which was jealous that it didn't get any present from Santa Claus. So it decided to eat all the children. It thought that it would get presents if there were no more children to give presents to. Santa heard of this and with his little elves, he confronted the titan in a fight to the death." (Asriel)

" Eru~ Mnn...." said Mikasa sweetly. Asriel looked down to see Mikasa squirming a bit with a red face so he decided to stop petting her for a while. He felt like he won't be able to hold on if he continued. Mikasa felt like she lost something and was a bit disappointed so she hugged Asriel real tight burying her face in his chest and refused to let go.

" *Ahem* Well.....let me continue, where was I....ah right...so Santa was fighting this green titan with the help of his little elves but even then he was slowly but surely losing the fight. Alas, he was defeated, smacked away into a distant building where he remain stationary. The children seeing this were saddened, so they built these figures out of snow to scare the green titan away so that they could help Santa. It was super effective as the titan screeched in horror seeing these snow figures. They were later called snowmen." (Asriel)

" Mnn...." (Mikasa)

" You aren't even listening anymore are you....well it's ending anyway.....Santa came back up and finally fought the titan, killing it and everyone lived happily ever after." (Asriel)

" I'm living happily ever after right now...." (Mikasa)

Asriel was speechless for a while and said " Come here you little bundle of cuteness!" and gave her a bear hug making her scream with delight. They stayed like that for a while, listening to each other's heart beat and the occasional crackles of fire from the campfire.

" Come on, let's go eat something warm, and later on let's have a snow fight with Eren and Armin. Then we should all build snowman and snow angels." said Asriel with a warm smile towards Mikasa.

" Un!" Mikasa energetically nodded and smile brightly towards Asriel.

And so, Christmas came and went quickly....

Our MC, Asriel who is a 20 years old university student, after reading the latest series of attack on titan (by latest I mean the one where Mikasa was treated like shit) he felt extremely sad and angry about how the plot is going decided to go out and vent. Little did he know he would get the chance to change the fate of those characters. Also spoilers alert! Please read at your own discretion.

This is my first time writing and just writing for fun. And because I feel really really sad about Mikasa's fate. (I wrote this when that chapter came out so.....yeah)

Nick stared at the coffee shop's community board blankly. This had been his last chance. He had looked online, in the newspaper, and he even had asked his uncle and this was the last place he could look for a job. He tossed his now empty hot chocolate into a trashcan and sighed. Mom is gonna kill me.

Nick flashed back to about a week ago, when his mother had confronted him about his work, or lack thereof.

"Mom, I only turned fifteen two days ago. Only a few places accept fifteen year olds and even then, considering the classes you've made me take most would say I'm 'overqualified'." Nick was sitting on the couch, trying to explain himself to his mom. He had actually gone to a few places before, but each had ended so strangely and weirdly he was almost afraid to go back. Who has a pet attack duck?! Its almost as if the universe conspired against him.  "How am I supposed to find a job? Please listen to reason." 

His mother went silent and walked out of the room. His Dad looked at him and laughed. "Good luck." That is when he knew he messed up. Big time.

His mom had always been more strict and overprotective than normal; as he grew up they fought more and more. She made him take the hardest classes available- some he had barely passed. The problem was, she couldn't take no for an answer, no matter how well-packaged the no was.

Next morning when Nick woke up his mom had left a sticky note with a cold waffle on his desk. "Gone to work. After you eat this waffle go out and find a job. Or else no presents for Christmas this year." What?! Not my money!

So for the sake of holiday joy, and money, Nick sat off with his winter coat. Today he would find a job. He had too.

And here Nick is, looking at the community board over and over again. Nothing, just like what he would be getting for Christmas. Nick could imagine it perfectly, his mom staring at him in disappointment. His dad looking at him with pity.

'What is Christmas without presents? I have to find some kinda job!" Nick has never had Christmas like this. 'Maybe I should ask Santa for a job....ha if only he was real.' Nick snickered at the thought. He had lost his Christmas Spirit long ago. The only thing that made the jolly season unique to Nick was presents. Or, since recent years, the payday.

The door opened and a bell rang, telling the whole world that someone had entered the coffee shop. Nick swung his head around, grasping for straws, maybe this was the moment when a famous CEO put up a job offer. Like in those stories where- there are no stories like that.

Nick was surely disappointed, no one was there. It must have been the wind, which is strange for a clear day in Texas. He peered at the sky for a trace of clouds. Nada. He looked back at the board and there it was. A white piece of paper with a red and white outline, resembling a candycane, had appeared at the top of the board. 

Nick, not being one to look a gift horse or any gift in the mouth, snatched it and read its italicized text. 'Would you like a job as Santa Claus, spreading holiday cheer and saving the world?   y/n' 

His heart sank, and he shook his head. 'No listed pay? I'm no charity. Well, guess I'll die." As If it had heard him the sheet of paper shifted and now had a new line of text. 'Pay: Minimum: $10 per hour Maximum:Depends on how hard you work.'

The paper glinted a strange sheen of light. 'Whoa, was that there before? Probally just a trick of the light.' Some just can not see magic, even if it slapped them in the face. Nick reread the little notecard with a smile on his face.

The pay interested him, he could work as hard as he wanted and his mother would be satisfied. Nick glanced at the glistening sheet of paper and stared. 'y/n' What a strange way of confirming I want the job. No number, no anything. Maybe this isn't the job for me. His mother's cold face flashed in his head, and he shivered. He really had no choice.

 For the sake of Christmas he would get a job!How do I get in contact anyway? He stuck the paper into his pocket and looked around. The y on the paper glowed gold and time froze. 

"Thanks for accepting #^@*&@>-;# Inc.'s Job offer! Please wait for processing and teleportation." Nick had only one thought in his brain. Wut.

He turned around and saw the impossible. It was snowing, in Texas. Nothing else needs to be said. People were standing, frozen, on the sidewalk. A bird was stopped in midair. The drink a barista had just started pouring was sitting in mid-air. 

The only movement was Nick, and the snow quickly covering the ground. He stepped outside and felt snow for the first time. I wonder what caused this? Global warming? Insanity? Government weather experiments? Have I gone insane? I've gone insane.

"Teleportation commencing, please stabilize yourself. 3....2...."
Yep, definitely insane.
'1! Have a safe trip!" A feminine voice followed him into the darkness.

He was spinning. And spinning, And spinning. He heard sleigh bells and then. Collision. Sight, smell, and his other senses came back to him as he laid on the ground and groaned.
"Ughh what happened?"

"Hello new Santa Claus! Welcome to Santa's workshop!"

"Huh?!"

"Santa, the next batch of presents are almost done!"
"I've told you not to call me that! Just call me Nick. Not Saint Nicholas, Santa, Chris Kringle or whatever else. I'm just Nick. I am not Santa, I'm just taking this job until I find a better opportunity.
"But you are Santa!!!!!! You even look like him!"
"Are you saying I'm fat?"
".....Well you have been eating a lot of cookies sir!"
"That's because we have no other food here! You've refused to go down to the village and buy real food!!!!!!!!"
"....."
"Alisa!"

In which a teen has to spread Christmas in another world.

A few more days had passed, and Baymard had already had its first Christmas. 
On Christmas eve, Landon had held a grand Christmas party to show the people how Christmas was celebrated.
During the party, some of the children came on stage, and acted out a play that symbolized the spirit of Christmas.
They even sang Christmas songs from the new 'Baymard Hymnal'... and did several other dance as well.
On Christmas day itself, the people stayed at their homes and gave gifts to each other.
Some celebrated with their guests and neighbors, while others celebrated with their families only.
Of course Landon stayed at the castle with his family, Mark, Gary, Trey, Josh and their girlfriends.
They celebrated all night long, as well as exchanged gifts too.
And just like that, Christmas had passed and it was time to get back to work.
For this month, he had decided to focus on Tylenol, Advil, E-Lax and Penicillin V.
Tylenol could only effectively give in relieving pain, fever, headaches, cramps, fever and so on.
While Advil was good at relieving inflammation, as well as doing everything that else that Tylenol could do... like relieving pain, fever, toothache and cramps.
The difference between the two was that..... if one one got a flu and his/her throat got swollen or inflamed, then Advil would be used.
But if there's no swell, then it was advisable for the patient to stick to Tylenol.
Likewise if one had a sprained body part and wanted to relieve the pain and tackle inflammation, then Advil was the way to go.
But if there's no inflammation, Tylenol would be perfect to use.
It's very important for one to use the proper drug, as taking Advil when there's no inflammation, could actually worsen one's condition... and vice versa.
One could treat their fever, but have prolonged swells and inflammations instead.
The next drug type that Landon wanted to focus on, were laxatives.
There were different types as well, that focused on whether the patient's constipation was short term or long termed.
For now, Landon decided to focus on the short term one, hence he decided to make E-Lax.
In this era, constipation was still a dangerous affair that led to more intestinal issues and diseases.
Several people had even died from chronic constipation due to lack of proper drugs, and medical knowledge.
Hence E-lax was necessary to sort out these constipation issues within Baymard.
Up next, Landon wanted to look at Penicillin.
Penicillin was an antibiotic drug, that had over 10 different types that varied based on their uses.
For now, the only type of Penicillin that would be made.... was Penicillin V.
Penicillin V is generally used to treat soft tissue infections, mild infections and severe skin infections.
It could also treat laryngitis, pneumonia, scarlet fever and rheumatic fever.
All in all, Landon thought that these drugs were perfect for Baymard now.
And the best thing was that these drugs could be taken during pregnancy, and could also be helpful towards treating infections in Infants.

"Ramsey, I think we're all set now!" Landon said, as he inspected the last raw material sample in his palms.
Ramsey was the new Overseer for the new Pharmaceutical industry.
He was one of Wiggin's close friends, who used to be a supervisor within the Alchemy industry.
With his skills and experience, Landon was sure that he had made the right choice in promoting him to overseer.
Anyway, this new industry had alchemists/chemists, mechanical engineers in training, electrical engineers, chemical engineers in training and operation engineers.
Last week, Landon had focused on making Penicillin V and E-lax.
But for the next 4 days, he would only teach them how to make Advil.
And the week after this, he would follow up by making Tylenol.
Today was all about Advil.
The first step in making Advil, was to ensure that all the raw materials were available, treated and mixed properly.
For Advil, Landon had gotten 23 different raw materials which were plants that were grounded into powder form.... as well as several other chemicals like silicon dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate and so on.
Of course all these chemicals came from the chemical production department within the Alchemy industry.
Presently, Landon was currently in the storage building... that stored both raw materials and finished goods.
Right now, Landon and Ramsey had just finished checking samples of all the raw materials present.
"Alright...
100 of you should focus on sending these raw materials to the 2nd floor of building 2.
When you get to the loading station, send them up on the conveyor belt with the sign [Advil Raw Material Offloading] on it.
The rest of you will follow Chief Ramsey and I into the building."
Immediately, the workers loaded up several trucks and drove towards the building.
The building was huge and wide, and 5/6 of the ground floor was used by the trucks for loading and off-loading... while the other 1/6 of the ground floor had a bathroom, reception desk and so on.
Anyway, 5/6 of the ground floor had 48 wide conveyor belts that moved in different directions.
24 were going up, while 24 were coming down.
The building itself was 5 stories tall, so that meant that only 4 stories would be used for manufacturing.
Anyway, each floor had 6 conveyor belts heading up it's way... as well as 6 conveyor belts from their floor heading back to the ground floor.
So that would mean that each floor would accommodate 6 different drug making departments within the building.
The workers quickly drove to raw materials to the ground floor and found their spot.
One could imagine the ground floor to be like an airport baggage area for large containers and drums.
Each Conveyor belt had a large sign above it, that showed where it was heading to... or coming from.
As they drove by, they saw other workers off-loading drums of raw materials for Penicillin V and E-Lax... as well as other workers who were loading the finished products on their trucks.
Once the men saw the massive sign.... they immediately parked their trucks alongside the conveyor belt, and began their work.
'VRRRMMMMMM'
The massive conveyor belt was already on, as Landon and the rest of the men had headed towards the building way ahead of those who focused on loading.
At the same time on the second floor... Landon, Ramsey and the rest of the workers immediately got to work when they saw the drums coming in.
Time to get started!
