"Okay, this is the festival grounds," a tall guy Cadence remembered meeting the night before was saying, gesturing at a 3D model they'd hastily put together on the table. "This is where we found the first set of objects, here and here, and this is where we know Aaron and Elliott were stationed."
"Thanks, Ahmed," Job said with a nod before a shorter, spunky girl with pink hair picked up.
"Brandon and Jamie were over here, on the other side of the festival grounds." She pointed to the side closest to the parking lot. "And Dax and Alex were here." With her pointer finger, she indicated an X on the model nearer the center of the activities. "The second set of objects was picked up right about here."
Cadence took it all in and visualized those locations from where she'd spent most of the twilight hours. "All right."
"So Brandon and Jamie must've crossed through here on their way to Elliott," Cassidy filled in. 
"Yeah, I'd told him to go find his dad," Cadence remembered, "because you were telling me the moon was moving." It all came back to her very clearly, not as if she'd forgotten before Cassidy brought it up, but it certainly hadn't been at the forefront of her mind. "So he was worried."
"He must've taken off through here," Ahmed traced a line with his finger.
"Do we have audio of the conversation he was having with Jamie while they were headed that direction?" Cadence asked.
"Christian is working on that," Job reminded her. "Lisa, can you step over and ask him if he's gotten that far?"
"Sure," the pink-haired woman replied and did just that.
"You were saying the moon was moving?"
The sound of Oswald's voice made Cadence jump. For a moment, she'd forgotten he and Trina were standing behind them. It had been a long night, and she was exhausted.
"I was," Cassidy replied, running her hand down her face. "But I don't remember it."
"Do we have that?" Trina asked.
"I probably do." Cadence accessed her IAC and quickly pulled up the visuals she'd recorded from the night before. She'd had her visuals on because she'd been talking to Aaron at the time, and it was just habit. Hearing his voice as she replayed the scene in her head made the situation even more difficult, but she managed to hold back her tears. Utilizing the projector she had on her wrist, she showed the rest of the team what had been going on in the B and B around the same time that the Guardians in the field were disappearing.
"Holy crap," Cassidy muttered, watching herself react the way that she had. "I really don't remember that at all."
"Brandon was concerned," Cadence said, having trouble watching it again. "I told him to go find his dad." She bit her lip. Now, she was wishing she never would've turned her IAC connection off. Maybe if she'd stayed with him, she'd have some idea where her sister's boyfriend was.
"I've got some footage for you, too," Christian said, startling Cadence back to reality. She flipped a switch on her projector, and they all took a few steps over to where Christian and Lisa were situated.
With a deep breath, Cadence put her arm around her sister and took a few steps closer to Christian, happy to feel Hannah's presence behind her since she was also doing what she could to keep them both calm.
"All right," Christian began, flipping on his projector but not starting it yet. "I've been through the raw footage from Aaron's and Elliott's IACs. There's no audio, just what they were looking at."
"Why is that?" Cassidy asked.
"Because of the nature of the operation. If it had been a hunt, we'd have all of that, but we don't automatically collect data all the time from IACs, or else, as you know, we'd have a lot of private conversations recorded that no one would want anyone else to hear. So in this instance, we didn't turn to full hunt recording mode on the drives, just observational." That made sense to Cadence. "If we would've actually gone into hunt mode, then the audio would've automatically kicked in." She wasn't aware of that last part, but since he was the tech guy, she trusted him. "That's what happened as soon as Cadence arrived on scene this morning and started interviewing Vampires."
"All right. So what's this?" she asked, not sure she wanted to know.
"This is about thirty seconds before Aaron's IAC cuts out." 
Christian pressed play through his IAC and the projection went into motion. At first, it was obvious that Elliott was worried about something, and if Cadence could read lips, she thought he said he was leaving. She assumed that was when they were both worried about Cass. A few seconds later, Aaron looked beyond his friend, and Cadence felt a chill crawl up her spine. "That looks like me."
"Right," Christian confirmed as they all watched a woman approaching from across the festival grounds. "Elliott sees the same thing. They start walking in a hurry, and then, at 2:32, just as the moon hits its culmination." He let it play, and they watched as Elliott looked down at the ground, as if he'd stepped on something, and then he disappeared in front of Aaron, just a split second before Aaron's IAC went dead.
Cadence didn't even realize a whimper had escaped her lips before her sister's arm came up around her neck. A tear rolled down her cheek, and she swiped it away. There was no time for that.
"Thanks, Christian," Hannah said, her voice still calm. "Do you have similar footage of the others?"
"Yeah. From Dax's perspective, Brandon and Jamie are gone for a few seconds before Dax goes barreling in behind them, and then, if you switch to Alex, he turns his audio on and says, 'Oh, bloody hell,' and jumps in, too."
"So you think Alex knows what this is?" Cadence asked, confused.

I had no idea how fast Job had been driving or exactly how far it was from Shepherdstown to DC, but we had reached our destination. He pulled into a spot in front of a rundown, brick office building. It wasn't huge, but then this was the space most of the Independents worked out of, when they worked together, which just meant they truly answered to no one except Job, the leader they had appointed, and had no government funding. The second part showed.
None of us said anything as we followed Job inside. We ran into a few people in the hallway and all politely greeted each other, but my mind was elsewhere. If I couldn't find Holland, and I couldn't find Stewart, what else could I do? I was starting to go a little crazy, and the person who is always there to calm me down and get me back on track was nowhere to be found.
A tall woman with short blonde hair I recognized as Trina, the Hunter Leader for DC, was already in the conference room. So was her Guardian counterpart, a short guy with dark hair and a stocky build named Oswald. We all said hello, and I noticed Christian sitting in the corner with headphones on, staring at a laptop. I wondered where Ashley was.
Job also introduced the tall guy looming over a 3D model of the festival field as Ahmed. I didn't remember him from last night and figured he either wasn't there or was one of those people running around in all the chaos. There was also a woman with short pink hair who looked like she had enough energy to power a small town. Job introduced her as Lisa.
We all gathered around the table, except for Christian, who stayed in his corner with his headphones on. He hadn't even looked our way when we'd come in, and even as Ahmed was talking, my mind was flickering back over to Christian. He always seems weird, but something seemed more off than normal about him at the moment.
"This is the festival grounds," Ahmed began. "This is where we found the first set of objects, here and here, and this is where we know Aaron and Elliott were stationed."
Lisa jumped in. "Brandon and Jamie were over here, on the other side of the festival grounds." I followed her fingers with my eyes, but I felt myself tensing up as she talked about what my boyfriend was doing moments before he disappeared. "And Dax and Alex were here." Also not comfortable. "The second set of objects was picked up right about here."
"All right" my sister said, like she wanted to know what we were supposed to do with this information.
I studied the model for a moment, noticing where the broken mirror was located and where the other set of objects was in regards to where Brandon was stationed. Tracing a line with my finger, I said, "So Brandon and Jamie must've crossed through here on their way to Elliott."
Cadence was thoughtful. "Yeah, I'd told him to go find his dad because you were telling me the moon was moving." Her expression told me she hadn't given much thought to my spell from right before this happened. "He was worried about you."
"He must've taken off through here." Ahmed traced a line almost identical to mine.
I could see the wheels spinning in my sister's head now. "Do we have audio of the conversation he was having with Jamie while they were headed that direction?" she asked.
Job nodded and shrugged at the same time. "Christian is working on that. Lisa, can you step over and ask him if he's gotten that far?"
"Sure." Her step was more like a bounce, and again I was envious of her energy.
Oswald looked at me and said, "You were saying the moon was moving?" with his forehead scrunched up in confusion. I couldn't blame him.
"I was," I admitted without going into detail. "But I don't remember it." 
"Do we have that?" Trina asked, and I wanted to blurt out a solid no. I didn't want everyone gawking at me as I made a fool out of myself screaming at the moon until I blacked out. But then, if it would help find Brandon and the others.
"I probably do," Cadence said, and I watched her digging through her IAC in order to find it. She had a projector on her wrist, and she used it to show everyone. 
I could see Cadence clench her fist as Aaron's voice filled the room, and I almost felt as bad for her having to watch this as I did for myself. I looked like a crazy person. I had a slight memory of what had happened, but I had no idea just how frantic and creepy I had been. It's no wonder my sister was worried.
When it was over, my sister turned it off, and I muttered, "Holy crap. I really don't remember that." Not like that anyway.
My sister's voice was sympathetic. "Brandon was concerned so I told him to go find his dad."
I was about to ask her if she had her IAC on when Brandon was doing just that, but Christian called to us from the corner, "I've got some footage for you, too." My sister jumped, like she'd forgotten we'd asked about that, and she put her arm around me as we moved over to his laptop.
Hannah was sending out some of her warm, calming waves of emotional stability behind us, which was nice, but in my present mood, it wasn't doing much but dulling the edges. I was nervous to watch what Christian had found, but there was something else bothering me, something about how he was vibrating, that was telling me everything wasn't as it seemed.

Hello how are you
Let me introduce myself I am the Author of this book (reflections). This book will mainly deal with my "Reflections" and Opinions on various topics.
I started this book because I want to practice my writing and one day become an Author and make a living writing books.
I have had many thoughts and ideas; to write my own Original books. But when I sit in front of the computer I go blank
So I thought about writing a fanfic, to practice my writing, but still, I was left blank. Despite also having many ideas and story and character development. I was blank; I did not know what to write or how to put my thoughts into words.
Then one night I got the idea to write a book about my thoughts.
And so this book was born.
I decided that the first chapter would be a presentation:
To begin, I want to say that I am: a Christian, I was born in a Christian home and raised in a Christian family.
I believe that God created the Universe and everything in it.
I also think and believe that everything happens because HE allows it to happen; if "good or bad" things happen.
I really like Anime; I started watching Anime at 12 years old. The first one I saw I saw it from YouTube on my cell phone. The first anime I saw was; Rurouni kenshin or (samurai X), I saw him until the fight with Shishio, after that fight it seemed to me that he lost quality and I didn't see him again.
The second anime that I also saw from YouTube on my cell phone was Medabots. I saw all the chapters.
Later I saw inuyasha but I left him because he bothered me with inuyasha. I don't remember the reason, but it did bother me a lot XD.
Then I saw Ranma ½ that anime I liked a lot. I was surprised to learn that it was the same Author as inuyasha. I saw all the chapters. The movie and the 14 ovas. But I haven't read the manga yet.
I started looking for animes in Latin Spanish and I found Kenichi. I watched all the chapters of the anime. and some time after reading a post on Facebook an image where he posted where the anime ended to continue it in the manga. I read all the chapters of the manga
About ½ after seeing Ranma, a relative loaned us his laptop. (The reason I was watching anime with the phone was because it had no speakers and it had outdated audio drivers and I didn't know anything. I thought I had a faulty audio card, but not that it had outdated drivers. I found out in 2019. all the time thinking it was the audio card but it was the drivers when I found out I was feeling stupid and ashamed of my ignorance).

As I was saying after my relative loaned us the laptop, I started watching anime on animeflv.
There I found To Love Ru, an anime that became my favorite for a long time. I liked the comedy and how the characters interacted, as well as the personality of the protagonist. And I think it's an excellent anime (it's one of those guilty tastes that I have). But if there's one thing I have to say that I didn't like it was the excess of ecchi and fanservice on the part of the authors and I think this really hurts the job. Because it's as if the authors thought more about pleasing the readers than developing the characters and the story.
Then I saw Soul Eater, Rosario + Vampire, Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and many other anime.
 (One Piece I saw almost 700 chapters without audio I stayed where Luffy defeats Doflamingo).
Since my computer had no audio, I started reading manga. I read them on TumangaOnline. That's when I read Kenichi, Rosario + Vampire, Re Monter. That's where I read the Manhua from Tales of Demos And Gods. In the comments I saw that someone commented that he had a novel and I liked it so much that I looked for it and that is how I started reading web novels.
 
I don't like watching sports on television. I find them very boring.
I like to exercise, although I am very lazy, (but it is not entirely my fault since I was born tired, after I was born the doctor had to pat me to cry) so sometimes or almost always I don't. (TT_TT)
I graduated from Bachiller of Science at the age of 15. and a few months later I passed the introductory course to study medicine. (Premedical).
And at 16 and a few months I started college. But I didn't make an effort to study, and as expected I ended up losing the year. And if he failed the last quarterly exam he ran the risk of being expelled, so requesting a temporary withdrawal from the university "accused of family problems."
As the new school term begins, I started with a slightly more focused and serious mindset. Two months after starting and being close to the first trimester exam. The teacher in charge of my year calls me and tells me that that year I cannot attend the school year, due to the withdrawal request that I had previously requested, that I had to wait at least one year before I could resume my studies.
After that I became very depressed.
After about 6 months had passed, my mother told me if she wanted to study education at another university. She told me that a friend told her that the introductory course was about to start and that few people signed up, and she asked me if I wanted to sign up. and I answered yes.
I passed the introductory with a high mark and started my first semester in the College of Education.
It goes without saying that history repeated itself, started the semester motivated but that motivation was gradually lost. Mainly because he had many free hours, due to the lack of teachers, who had left the country.
I finished spending the semester, (With some subjects postponed), but I had already lost the desire to continue so I did not continue attending.
 
It has been almost 5 or 6 years since I graduated from high school and I have not done anything with my life, I do not study and I do not work becoming a holder of the Neet Title.
Sometimes I wonder how my parents feel about me, they feel Disappointed. Annoying or perhaps proud, but how would they feel proud of me, if I have not done anything I have not achieved anything.
To be honest at this age I already saw myself as a successful person with a home of my own. Independent, and that I would have bought my parents a house on the beach. That I know, they would be proud of me, and I could take care of them.
Not like I am right now, the misguided and disappointing stereotype of an otaku.
But I don't want to continue as I am now. I want to be better. Beat myself.
 
That's why I want to be an Author making a living with what I like, writing novels, writing and exploring fantasy worlds, making people happy with my stories.
Horre my God. Honor my Parents, Honor my Family.
 
Doing what I like, working on what I like.

I wanted to write a book, but when I sat in front of the computer I was left blank and did not know what to write or how to write it, although I have many ideas and developments, I did not know how to translate. my ideas.

I am Latin American and my mother tongue and the only language I know is Spanish.

It was a ciphered invitation with a blurred, unidentified background.
Quickly after, the photo gained a lot of viewers. Before they realized it, it already became a trend worldwide.
People began to circulate rumors about the anonymous person or organization behind the ciphered invitation.
Some people believed they were an insane cult.
Some said that they were from the government, which needed intelligence support for an unknown classified project.
And some even assumed that they are aliens that would only reveal themselves to highly intelligent and civilized beings like themselves to propose an absurd offer of cooperation with a universal crisis Earthlings were not aware of yet.
Regardless of people's beliefs about them, they promised an insanely glorious reward that was greater than any type of wealth anyone could achieve in the world, which easily stimulates people's greed.
To finish the puzzles, people at least need to know fields of study about codes like cryptography if they don't have a knack for solving puzzles.
The greatest minds in the world were the frontrunners in solving the presented series of puzzles that gradually became harder the deeper they were in the puzzles.
ITs were included to them, who could create applications to decipher the code nonstop.
Embarrassingly, with almost everyone taking part in deciphering the coded messages, it surprised the internet surfers to a great extent that no one could solve the puzzles nor pass all the tests.
Or maybe no one just dared to say it in public.
Although months had passed already, no one still showed up to let others know about the anonymous person or organization behind it and the rewards they would give after finishing the tests.
Eventually, most people abandoned the tests after months of frustration as the popularity of the ciphered invitation dramatically dropped.

On the 20th of January 2041, an Asian college student who lived in the sprawling city in Southern California, Los Angeles, was reported missing.
After coming back from vacation, Liam Kai Smith and Selene Fay Smith, the only elite detective duo of the Los Angeles Police Department (L.A.P.D.) with a 90% + rate in solving their assigned cases, were tasked by the fastidious Chief of Police, William Grayson, to investigate the case, infuriating them and saying that they were now rusty after taking a very long vacation which led to offering them a simple case.
No, it wasn't a simple offer.
The Chief of Police was obviously playing with their emotions and disrespecting their image by forcing them to take a simple case.
Eager to prove to Chief of Police William Grayson that their top-notch detective skills remained the same, they promised to solve the case in just two days.
Based on the parents who reported the incident, their son named Christian behaved strangely before he went missing, notifying them he was solving puzzles that would give them the wealth they were expecting from him after he finishes college.
A dream that his parents sought but failed to accomplish on their own because of some sort of stupid reasons, treating Christian as a financial investment and a retirement plan than a human that eventually led him astray.
They imposed unnecessary things upon him they wish he was instead of paying attention to who Christian truly was.
In that way, he would not need to endure being bullied in school most of the time, skipping the hard part by taking an easy route.
Liam understood and shared the feelings of the college student as a half Asian himself, who grew up in the Bay Area of San Francisco before he moved to Los Angeles for college. 
Unlike Selene, who's a native Californian girl and pure white, Liam had a rough childhood in California as well.
Ostracized because of excessive racism and being called an illegal boat person, illegal immigrant, and all sorts of harsh things that made him tough mentally at his early age, brushing it all off since he knew none of it was true.
To rub salt on the wound, he doesn't know where he belonged throughout his entire life as a mixed Asian-American before he met Selene, who's unbothered by how society perceived him. And he doesn't want to hate either of his lineages either since that's just who he was.
At the beginning of their investigation, everything appeared pretty much like the normal abduction cases they handled before, or it could be about a college student who did something horrible somewhere and attempted to escape from it.
Regardless, the elite detective duo was confident that two days were more than enough to find the college student in a world where advanced technology could almost help in anything, thinking that it was a piece of cake for them.
As they checked the infamous ciphered invitation, they realized that if they want to understand the college student's behaviors before he went missing, they must know what's the message behind the photo which influenced the student to act strangely before he went missing.
If Liam was at the student's feet, he was certain that he would be enticed by the promised reward as well, since the one who posted it seemed to be a big shot international organization.
Without further ado, they left the department and went to their secluded office to check the ciphered invitation.
They had printed the photo to see if they could find something about its unidentified background that they could hardly see on the computer's monitor.
The background appeared to be a creepy humanoid face with uneven teeth and purplish blood-like liquid dripping out of its mouth.
Liam squinted his eyes at the picture, believing that he had seen the face before but could not remember where.
After further checking, they found nothing.
At first, they thought that a hidden message would appear if they placed the paper on top of a light, but it didn't.
After several hours, Selene saw some flaws in the disturbing background.
They had edited it and raised its quality to identify the flaws after erasing the written messages, thinking that they were close enough to solve the case, but Selene had realized something was amiss about the results of their edit.
She hurriedly tried it again to save time, keeping the written messages and retaining the heightened quality of the background.
And so, they found a different message.
'LQ!? We're going to guess the meaning, aren't we? I didn't know this is still a thing in the 40s,' Liam asked inwardly while stroking his imaginary beard after he had observed the image.
There were no other visible letters that formed aside from 'LQ' and there weren't other hints that could give them a lead.
However, if they are going to think about it, the process they did to see the hidden message had indicated the letters' meaning.
"Low Quality!!! Let's change the resolution of the background image and remove the written messages again," Selene shouted excitedly, who unconsciously shook her husband's shoulders for a few seconds, after just a few seconds of contemplating.
She was as quick-witted as ever, surpassing all her peers in all aspects aside from her unbeatable husband in terms of investigation and marksmanship skills.
They hurriedly printed another sample of the ciphered invitation, but this time with a lower quality.
From that idea, they knew what's the next thing to do.
They zoomed 200% on different parts of the photo.
And once they are on the curly hair part of the creepy humanoid face with uneven teeth and a disgusting smile, they saw the Quick Response code formed from the boxes of the pixilated photo.
They hid it nicely, but the two elite detectives expected it.
After scanning the QR code on their seven-inch tablet beside the computer's keyboard on top of a table, it directed them to an unknown website with nothing but a saved mp3 file.
They played the audio file, and it stated this,
'Congratulations! You passed the first test. Please keep on going. More than half of the population failed this simple test, but you didn't. You have potential. Now, don't share it with anyone. If you do, it will get horrible for you. We are always observing you, Challenger.'
and at the end of the audio file, static that sounded like another code played for a few minutes.

The two elite detectives gazed at each other, realizing that they could not finish the case in two days if they kept going like this.
The case that seemed so simple at first turned out to be harder than they had thought.

They did not even want to continue solving the ciphered invitation, which consisted of a series of puzzles since they don't know how long they could finish all of it.
It doesn't specify how many more tests they needed to solve either.
To think that many people worldwide attempted to do it already but could not finish it was insanely absurd.

"That's not fair! The kid desperately put all of his faith into this. How could it ask a lot of work without assurance of getting anything in return?" Liam complained lightly, slamming his fist on the table, weak enough not to break it with his unparalleled human strength.
He sighed before he rubbed his fingers to his forehead, imagining how hopeless the kid's state when he tossed everything aside for this trick invitation.
His wife just nodded her head while sitting at the same table, agreeing with her husband's statement.
Selene narrowed her eyes and bit her lower lip, analyzing their situation for a moment before she replied, "Wooo... Take it easy, detective. You'll age faster like that. I know it's not quite reasonable. I checked everything about this student like a hundred times already but could find nothing that could lead us to the truth aside from this stupid cipher. Do you have any idea what we supposed to be our next move in a situation like this?"
Normally, Liam always had an out-of-the-box idea that could aid Selene to assess the bigger picture, but it appeared that Liam couldn't give anything today.
"We don't have a choice but to continue this. It's not an ordinary ciphered invitation now that there's a weak threat in the second audio message. So much for a simple case, huh!?" Selene clicked her tongue, annoyed at how fast things escalated.
"I suppose so. But let's check similar cases first in the records that could lead us straight to the organization backing this stupid game. Our goal was just to find the kid, not to expose the organization. Maybe we could bargain or something. Let's concentrate on finding the kid first within two days and save that giant fish for later," suggested Liam before he forced a tight-lipped smile on his face.
Upon further investigation in the records, the unexpected troublesome case had even more complicacy than met the eye.

"The teachers just watched it all happen. It felt like a thousand hands were grasping at me, not because they wanted me, but because they wanted the things my brother and I had. Kenmei listened quietly as Robin slowly narrated what had happened. She had been locked in the cellar, berated and extorted by her cousins, harangued by classmates. There was nowhere she could go to find peace, either in her schoolbooks, or in her bedroom, or even in a bathroom. 

Everything came to a head once she had entered her teenage years. Her uncle got the idea to sell her off as a bride to Dawkins, who had been taken over by the Trader, at that point.

Every day after school, Dawkins came to visit. He brought over dresses and complimented her long hair. And he talked about how he looked forward to when she was old enough to marry. There was no one she could turn to for help. There was no one she could rely on.

Robin could bear it no longer. She tore up the dresses. She cut off her long hair, and she ran away that night, to her brother's house. When he heard of what had happened, he hatched a plan to get custody back from her uncle.

"And then?" Keith asked. At this point, neither Robin, nor Keith realized Christian had halted just outside the room door.

"Then... my brother began taking vacations often." Robin replied. "I threw myself into self defense training and learned how to fight. I travelled to distant lands learning the different ways of the sword. I learned how to cook, how to make things, how to draw and craft and rescue people. I learned from the best of them."


"And then?" Keith asked.


"And then I became friends with this one girl for a single day." Robin smiled warmly. "She was terminally ill, but she still did her very best even up to her last moments, doing what she always dreamed of doing. And that day, whether by chance or by miracle, I was there to help her. After that, I wanted to try living normally, like that girl whose eyes sparkled when she talked about the things she treasured. I felt like I had lost something important, something that could light up my eyes the way that hers had. So, I got a job of my own. I was all ready to get started on it but then...."

Robin chuckled. "Then, I found myself here."

'A girl? Could it possibly be....the one Robin fell in love with?' Christian wondered.


Keith sat forward in his chair. "Sounds like you've had a rather rough time of it." He said. 


"It's in the past." Robin replied. "I guess you were right. Somehow, it doesn't bother me anymore."


"You don't have to call me uncle. I understand that, after all that happened, that word might be somewhat distasteful to you." Keith said, trying to be considerate.

"I guess you're all right, for an uncle." She joked. "At the very least, you're human."

"Thank goodness for that, then!" Keith chuckled. He felt relieved that Robin's personality hadn't been twisted by what she had gone through.

"So, when are you going to tell them?" Robin asked.

"As soon as I can find a good opportunity." Keith replied. Christian realized Keith was almost done talking with Robin, and took the opportunity to silently retreat before he was caught eavesdropping.

"I suppose I'll leave you to rest up, Dear Nephew of mine." Keith said, emphasizing the  'nephew' part.

"I'll see you later, Dear Uncle of mine~!" Robin laughed.

Christian paused, before eventually deciding to follow Keith down the hallway away from Robin.

'I'm not letting you have alone time with Robin that easily.' Keith thought, pleased at his own genius, with a flicker of mischief gleaming in his eyes for a moment.

Robin waited until Keith had left, then looked down at Skye.

"Any word from Hikaru?" She asked.

"Nope. Nothing!" Skye shoot its tail. "I'll definitely let you know once she says anything though!"

"How is everyone? Are they okay?" Robin asked.

"They're fine, but...it seems like there's a lot of people that collapsed after you beat the demon king yesterday. Many of them have woken up, but it seems like they've lost their memories." Skye informed, scratching at his ear.

"...The victims?" Robin surmised.

"Most likely-ah~ that hits the spot!." Skye arched its back pleasantly. Robin had found the itchy spot behind Skye's ears. 


"Thank you for letting me know." Robin smiled down at Skye. Skye looked up at Robin's smile, which was tinged with sadness.

"I know. But, those people are gonna have a difficult time after this." Robin sighed. "Despite, logically, I know that it's not my fault, I still can't help but sympathise."

"It means seeing someone in pain or difficulty, and thinking 'you are just like me'. Since you see that person as the same as you, imagine yourself being in that situation. It makes you want to help make things better, at least for them."


"Why?" Skye asked.


"Because you would want someone to do the same thing for you if you were in their place." Robin replied. 

"There are so many people that pray for help. There are so many who desire to be saved. Sure, we can't save all of them. But I would still want to answer, even if they are only calling out in their hearts."


"Sympathy, huh...Robin, your heart is really kind." Skye noted.


"Huh? Where did that come from?" Robin asked.

Skye's eyes narrowed pleasantly. "You care about so many people that you don't even know, just because seeing them in pain is like seeing yourself in pain. That's really kind. Nobody in the forest lives like that."


Robin recalled what she had told Keith earlier. "No....I am not kind." She denied. "There are people that even I can't forgive-people whom I never wish to see myself becoming. If I was truly kind, I would be able to care even for those people. But I can't."


"You really are strange. isn't it obvious to care for your friends and hate your enemies?" Skye asked.


"But true kindness goes beyond friends and enemies." Robin looked out the window at the nice day.

Gumagala kami ng kambal ko ngayon sa mga department buildings nang maisipan naming tumambay sa canteen malapit sa CCJE. On-going ngayon ang orientation ng mga freshmen.

I've always dreamed to be part of the industry of K-pop. I used to suffer from, not depression but pretty close. I was about to kill myself, but one day, my friend introduced me to K-pop. I started with blackpink and then I discovered Stray kids. Their songs, I could relate to them and their voices were really good. I think that, this is when I started to listen to K-pop for real. It saved me, I kept listening and understanding and then they gave me a dream. A big dream. I kept watching them, not the fame I want, sure I want to meet them, but it's not for that either. The friendship that they have feels amazing, right. I want this. It's my dream for another reason, I want to train hard get better and get experience. Not only is this something amazing for me, but a chance to change my life, show the bullies that I was not crazy. I want to see how it feels to be under the spotlight or film for a new movie. I want to change my life. I am ready to sacrifice every inch of me until I die to get in. I just want to get in and train for a little years and maybe debut. I can make this work, I am truly hoping. I want to see how it feels, even though the chances are low, I'll keep trying to get to my goal.
I'm trying my first audition online. I live literally too far to attend the real ones. It makes it even harder for me to get in. I believe in my dancing skills but my singing lack. When I finally sent it I read many informations on the second round and it made me stress out. I was scared to pass to the next round, but in the same time I really wanted to. The problem is that my parents have no idea what I want to do. I am a bit scared of my parents they are really strict and sometimes I fear that they will kick me out. They told me multiple time that online could be dangerous and traveling overseas for an audition online would freak them out. I really want to get in, but if they don't approve my dream what am I going to do? The stress is getting to me slowly. As day passes by, I keep checking my mail to see. I wonder if they truly check it out or they just check your look. Do I stand the beauty standards of Korea? I am lucky to be adopted Asian, because I look like an "idol" I get a bit more chances. I told some of my friends and they are with me in the process of stressing and putting my life on the line. If it doesn't work, I will try again until my body can't endure the home training, but nothing could be better than a real training with pros. I am not Christian, but I pray to be chosen even though it's probably impossible, I'm someone so random in this world. I know I can get better and they will see my determination and upgrades in each performance I make if they don't choose me. They have to, they are the reason I'm alive right now. I have to follow this dream, I want it so bad. It's like a need to survive. I will keep working on my "star quality" and keep getting better. They will see my determination and they will end up choosing me.
Right now, not a lot of people actually care about my life, not even me. So even if I keep trying it doesn't work, I might as well quit. I need to be confident in my skills. I will keep going until I succeed. Even though I fall, I will get up and fight back. I will keep going even if my body tells me to stop. I will get there. It's my dream and no one can take it away from me, not my mom, not my friends and not my ennemies. No one can take it and make it look like nothing. I need to succeed. I need to prove them, but I don't know how. Some idols got found by internet, but my mom won't allow me to post my face on social media. I'll need to hide my face and I don't know about the haters. I'm not scared of them, but I'm scared someone I know finds me out. I will see. I am wishing luck to myself as I wait for the results. It takes about a month apparently.
I started by filling all the blanks and hoped it was enough information. They asked for 3 pictures and so I took 3 pictures, close face shot, full body shot and a profile shot. I hope that's what they want. They asked for an audio too, even though I was auditioning in the dancing category, I sent an audio too. They said they would rather a good dancer than a good singer, because it's easy to lipsync but it's harder to pretend that your moves are on touch when you are on a live performance. Beside singing can be easily improved. I added an introduction and experiences, I have a good flow I'm a musician, I can play many instruments and I had dance classes when i was younger. I even do a little bit of gym so I'm pretty sure it'd be useful if they know. I hope I have enough competence to get in. My dream, my passion, my life. It's all it represents for me this audition. I am training and improving every little detail in my choreo, such as the placement of my hands, the movements' flow, the change of place and even how my legs are placed. Every little detailed are checked and I'm trying my best. Filming was so hard as I couldn't really use my camera. I don't have anybody to film me and my desk is so high that we don't see my feet and my legs which is important too. I have been working on losing weight too. It's important to keep the shape and I'm trying to get some abs somehow.
