¨Look! There!¨ Simon pointed at the mountain that wasn't too far away from them. The mountain was about the size of an average mountain. The mountain was in the middle of two other mountains and the biggest of the three. The tree mountains almost looked like three claws pointing towards the heavens. They had traveled overnight and luckily there weren't any more problems as Marcos and Lana were much more cautious as well as the beginners. 

On this walk few people spoke trying to kill the silence within the group, however, after everything that they had experienced so far, all they wanted to do was process everything completely. They were physically and mentally tired.

Niko was impressed by the location of the settlement from afar as he believed that Marcos didn't lie. 

As they came closer and closer to the mountain, they entered a forest like a biome which was also rankless. The trees were fairly big and parts of the canopy connected to one another, allowing sunlight to pass through, creating a magical feeling within the forest. Sounds of metal on metal could be heard in the far distance as they approached the mountain. 

The mountain dwarfed them as the settlement stood under it like a god looking down on the world. There was a dirt road that leads towards the settlement and a few people could be seen walking here and there. Some had armor parts while others looked like they were just summoned. These people didn't pay much attention to these beginners as they were focused on their own problems. Many of these people were either dirty or possessed many scars on their faces, showing the beginners that even after entering this place, life was still hard.

Although the settlement was on the foot of a mountain there was still a wooden wall and gate that blocked anything and anyone from entering right at the foot of the mountain. The gate was made out of thick dark brown wood that was as high as a two-story building. The gate was also made out of wood and outside of it were two people who seemed like they were guarding it. 

The two tall male guards wore leather armors and held wooden spears on their hands, as they greeted Marcos and Lana and allowed them to enter. Voices were instantly heard coming from the inside.

¨Trading a small dagger for two blue shards!¨ A woman said as she held out a common looking dagger.

¨I have a nice axe for just five red shards! Come on people, it gives your strength one point!¨ A man who looked tired said.

As they walked past the gate they were welcomed by something they didn't expect. The place was lively and full of people talking and trading. The streets were wide and outside of the sheds and inns were people talking and trading. Everyone in this group of beginners was in awe as they expected a much worse atmosphere filled with death and sadness. It truly looked like a game world. It was almost like these people had accepted this world and they were just trying to live in it.

The word ¨Shard¨ Stuck into Nikos´ mind as it seemed like it was one of the currencies of the world. Many of these people were looking to trade their items mainly for these things. Marcos had told them that there weren't any coins or bills, therefore people traded for useful items. Niko also noticed that there were different colored shards like blue, green and red, which made him wonder what was so important about these shards.

¨Why are there so many people here?¨ Someone in the group of beginners asked.

Marcos smiled and said, ¨This is a common place for people to trade as the inns are also located here and it's also near the safest east gate.¨ 

Looking around Niko quite admired the settlement. The streets were fairly wide as two cars would be able to move on them, and the architecture of the many structures in this settlement gave him a medieval vibe just like in the video games. The houses were made out of stones and wood and the streets changed from a dirt road to a rocky ground.

The many beginners felt slightly safer as they were surrounded by so many humans and buildings, there was a slight feeling of home again, but nothing like how it was.  Marcos told them to follow him as he was going to take them towards the newbie part of the settlement.

After walking past various people and buildings and moving up the mountain closer to the newbie area, the new people asked a few questions about the settlement and their surroundings.

¨Only Chinese players? What happened to the whole human race thing?¨ Simon spoke to Marcos. They had just walked past a group of people who called themselves the Chinese Dragons. From what Marcos told them, they were like a clan, and although Marcos said they weren't officially a clan, they were still recognized by everyone. They formed a huge party and completed missions together. They were also fairly talented as well, however, they only accepted Chinese people into their group, which was interesting.

¨There are many reasons for this, some people just can't let the past go, while others feel better around those they can relate to, I don't know man.¨ Marcos shrugged.

¨Why would they need such a huge group though?¨ Louis added.

Lana was the one who answered this time as she said, ¨Maybe they are going to take on a dungeon, who knows, there have been a few dungeons found lately.¨

¨Dungeons?¨ Niko asked as it peaked his interest.

¨You guys will find out more about that later, were almost at our destination. We are heading to the biggest place in our settlement and it took a while to create something like this. This is only for the beginners, therefore, after today you guys will never return here.¨ Marcos said as he looked forward.

Looking around, Niko realized that the buildings that surrounded them looked like apartments and the people who were around here did not possess as much armor as the people near the gate. On the doors of many of these buildings were numbered, from 100 to 125, there were many of these. 

¨We are here.¨ Lana said spoke as she looked forward.

Everyone else followed her gaze and in front of them was an open wooden gate that led into the mountain. The gate was the height of two people and as wide as five, it looked just like the wood from the gate without any decorations or patterns. These people wondered how they were able to dig with a mountain, but as they thought about the many crazy skills that existed they understood. 

As they entered through the gate they were welcomed by an inside made out of wood and stones. There were wooden pillars here and there along the walls and a few lanterns placed evenly as they walked further into the mountain. 

Marcos stopped, turned and said, ¨This is where I will stop guiding you all. Just keep moving forward and you should approach a desk with a person there, After talking to that person you will all stay in a room and rest for a while and someone should come by to take you from there. Maybe in the future, some of you might survive long enough to partner with me on a mission. Lana who was next to him nodded and they began to walk back. Many people looked at their backs with mixed feelings. Although they met the man a day ago, they held admiration towards the people who saved their lives.

After his sister and ninety-nine thousand random people around the world disappeared in one day three years ago, Niko’s life had always been revolved around finding her. He was facing dead end after dead end, until one day he was summoned to another world along with ninety-nine thousand other people. Putting two and two together, he came to the conclusion that his sister was also summoned to this world two years ago. This world is filled with danger, and evolving is key to surviving. The evolved lived while those unable to adapt perished. With the hope of finding his sister as motivation, he aimed to become strong in this world of magic, monsters, demons, and gods.

I felt extreme amount of pain causing me to cry, I tried to open my eyes and after several attempts I managed to succeed, I was in the arms of a woman with light red hair and blue eyes while a man next to her  grayish silvery hair after I finished crying I managed to hear what they were saying.

"What shall we name him Luther?" - asked the woman turning towards the name who's name was Luther, "How about.." 'he pauses for a second to think' " Valkorion yes Valkorion will be his name what do you think Olivia" said Luther turning towards the now named Olivia,

"Yes I think it suits him" 'she turns towards Victor in his baby form and says' "Welcome to the world Valkorion Palpatine." - Olivia

I found out that It Is 1957 and that I was transported into the world of Harry Potter I'm already getting a headache I am currently setting up plans to take over magical Britain I figured if Sheev Palpatine can Trick, fool, manipulate and take over the Republic Senate under the noses of the Jedi, kill most of the Jedi off due to order 66 and then rule the galaxy for 20 years then this should be well not quite a walk in a park but easier than what palpatine did.

Immediately, a flood of information surged into Victors brain causing him to black out due to the Immense pain,

Zeng Wei said gratefully, "Little Boss, I'm really so grateful for you."
He was at a loss for words. His bathhouse had been reborn and business was suddenly booming. He had been caught unprepared.
"No need to thank me. We are all neighbors and we should help each other," said Lin Fan calmly with a wave of his hand. Then, he smiled, "However, don't think about that kind of stuff anymore in future. I come here to bathe occasionally as well. If you do those things, it'll be too inconvenient."
Zeng Wei nodded, "Right, right. I won't. I definitely won't."
The next day!
The news blew up once more.
The experienced reporters had once again dug out the important news.
"D*mn, that awesome back-scrubbing Big Bro is actually Master Lin."
"Who's Master Lin?"
"Did your family just subscribe to an internet connection? To not even know Master Lin, where on earth have you been? Master Lin is the Godly Doctor, do you know now?"

The surrounding shop owners stared at Little Boss with their mouths gaping. Could there be something wrong with his brain?
Wu You Lan and Fraud Tian covered their faces. Did he not take his medicines that day? Why was he acting like a kid?

Lin Fan was delighted. He didn't expect to obtain such a great class of knowledge for the twelfth page. With a computer in his hand, the world would be within his grasps.
But wait a moment…
The task was once again to 'become the revered Master Lin' and there was an issue with that.
Hacking experts always remained in the shadows and did not reveal themselves. Then, no one would know who he was. If he was exposed, that would be bad.
D*mn, this is problematic.
But it didn't matter. There was no rush at the moment.
After all, it wasn't a compulsory task. He could take it slowly. Recently, to complete the back-scrubbing task, he had been doing things in a rush. How could a quiet and calm person like him allow life to be at such a quick pace? Of course, he had to slow it down and take things leisurely.
A while later.
Lin Fan went to a shop nearby to buy a computer. As a computer god, how could he not have a computer?
In the shop.
The computer seller, Lil' Wang, was just assembling a computer. Lin Fan said, "Lil' Wang, is this computer okay? Will it hang?"

"Right, right…" Zhao Zhong Yang realized that there was something very wrong with Little Boss and felt a little worried as well.
A few days passed quickly and the twelfth page of knowledge hadn't been used much yet. However, Lin Fan wasn't anxious. He was thinking about something.
Zhao Ming Qing had asked him to write Chinese medicine teaching materials. It was a significant matter to Zhao Ming Qing as well as Lin Fan. It was meant to teach people who were just beginning to learn Chinese medicine. If he wasn't serious when writing it and problems occur, it would be troublesome.
Sitting in front of the table, Lin Fan held a pen and was deep in thought.
He was going through the Encyclopedia's Chinese medical knowledge in his mind. At the same time, he was arranging all the beginners' knowledge systematically in his heart.

To Chinese doctors, this would be a great help and to Lin Fan, there was much to gain from this as well. From that day onwards, he wouldn't have to be afraid of not having enough Encyclopedic Points.


I am Lin Fan and I've become a jack of all trades just because of a powerful Encyclopedia.

The logic section had to do with the ability to think ahead of time;what will be the repercussion for what ever action I take now, which Chen passed wonderously, while Lee passed with the skin of his teeth. 
 
  The practical section was just too easy for lee and quiet rigid for Chen. This section entailed the naming of guns, the test of strength, how much force a beginners punch weighs and lastly the toughest for Chen but not even an inch close to Lee. 
 
He was really mad in this practical section. goddamm mad. 
It actually took them one and a half year to complete these exams and the remaining six months to prepare for their first days in  the barracks.

At the HQ of the C/A Alliance (Chinese /American millitary) or military grounds a red headed man in black tuxedo with matching pairs of neatly pressed black pants. They were all body fitting. 

Not a single strand of hair was out of place. He wore a perfectly indescribable black wristwatch. 
He was gently sipping black coffee while a servant of his held the  plate in which  the cup was held His eyes were closed while he slipped the coffee. 

There was a screen before this Satan or God depending on his demeanor at times. He slowly opened his light red eyes to watch a certain person and his best friend train in the gym. He then smiled and said "finally Lee you've found a purpose to live.

Two Brothers;not really brothers move on after college to the military. Both swore never to betray each other. But the world changes and makes them to get separated. Watch out for them

Bloody City was divided into five large rings, the most peripheral was the Slums District.

Each District was then divided into four Regions.

The vast majority of adventurers in the Eastern Region were Chinese, so the Eastern Region was also called the Chinese Region. The Southern Region contained other Asian nations. The Western Region were Europe and America, and the Northern Region were other areas.

From the vantage point of world order only, this division clearly had a big problem. But from the view of population distribution, this approach was quite appropriate.

National strength was the most meaningless existence in the Bloody City, only talent was fundamental. So maybe the Bloody City's partition was based on the number of people. As the most populous country, China was the only one listed as a separate district.

Up on top of the small slope was a platform, where newcomers, after completing their first mission must appear. Among adventurers, it was also known as the rookie-birthing-area.

A large group of veteran adventurers would come here every day to blackmail newcomers. Because, including Hong Lang, when they were newcomers they were also extorted.

Shen Yi sat on the small slope. Taking out the last three chests he got from Van Helsing's world, he first opened Verona's and Aleera's blue chests.

The Bloody Crest prompted: "You have killed the Vampire Brides Aleera and Verona. Based on your contribution, you get only the basic reward and not the additional reward for beginners. As you killed an the extra vampire bride, you will receive an extra reward for beginners."

First were two consecutive: "You've obtained a Vampire Fang" prompt, and then:

"You've obtained Crystal Tears Pendant – Reminiscence of Aleera: When Aleera was still a young girl she had a beautiful lover, and she turned her reminiscence of him into these crystal tears as a symbol of her eternal love. Can be used to record information about your important friend, so that no matter where he or she is, this crystal tear can provide you a specific position. Can only be used once in each Mission World, and can only be used for one person."

"You've obtained Crystal Tears Pendant – Slyness of Verona: Clever, suspicious and calm was the Vampire Bride Verona's nature. Different from her two bride sisters, she voluntarily accepted the conversion to become a Vampire because of her love for Count Dracula. She put her feelings for Dracula into crystal tears to help Dracula find all potential enemies, and to guard Dracula against any possible fraud. Crystal tears can be used to record any designated stranger's Information, to show if they are friendly or malicious towards you, so you will not be deceived by outside appearances. Can only be used three times in each Mission World, and only once on each target."

"You've received the three vampire brides Crystal Tears Pendants, integrate into one: Yes or No? After synthesis, it will have all three crystal tear's basic functions."

"Confirm synthesis."

The three Crystal Tears Pendants on Shen Yi's hand released a mass of light and automatically integrated as a whole, forming a crescent-shaped crystal from the three.

"Crystal Tears Pendant: A special pendant to find a friend, to warn user of an enemy, to judge friends and foes. It may not be able to bring you direct combat power, but it allows you to avoid harm from the dark. Please cherish it with your life."

Looking at the short description, Shen Yi smiled a bit and put the pendant back into the Bloody Crest.

Bloody City had strict rules for equipments – although in theory you could wear many necklaces on your neck, only one would take effect. However, the Crystal Tears Pendant was a non-combat equipment, so it could be used without hanging around the neck as a direct-use item; but such effects like guarding against an enemy could only come into effect after equipping.

In addition to these two basic rewards, the two Vampire Brides gave him two additional rewards: a low-quality non-ranked assassin's knife and a pair of increased running speed boots.

The pair of boots didn't add any attributes, it only had a dash skill.

"Item Skill: Sprint. After activated, increases user's movement speed by 100%. Duration: 1 minute, Cooldown: 10 minutes, Cost: 2MP. Can only be used in Difficulty Level I."

After opening the Vampire Bride's chests, Shen Yi opened the purple chest belonging to Dracula.

Within his expectations, the Bloody Crest told him: "In the process of killing Dracula, you accepted the plot character's help, evaluation will be affected. Comprehensive evaluation, your contribution in killing Dracula was 38%, therefore you will only get the basic reward and not the additional reward for beginners."

"Completed the final Quest, you've received an additional reward for beginners."

"Vampire Touch – High-quality Rank D dagger. Attack: 15-20, Lifesteal: 9%. Chance of causing Bleeding effect: 50%, causes target to lose 2HP/sec for 10 seconds. Can be integrated by Vampire Fangs. This weapon can be leveled up and upgraded. Skill Effect Priority: 18."

Shen Yi's heart beat faster. He placed the three Vampire Fangs from the Vampire Brides on top of the Vampire Touch. The Bloody Crest immediately prompted: "Do you want to fuse the Vampire Fangs and Vampire Touch? Fusion requirement: 600 BP."

"F*ck!" Shen Yi softly scolded. The fusion of the Crystal Tears Pendant didn't require any BP, therefore he thought the Vampire Touch wouldn't either, but he immediately agreed.

The three Vampire Fangs slowly melted into the Vampire Touch dagger. As a red light flashed, the Bloody Crest displayed: "Because these three fangs are from the Vampire Dracula's wives, it can be perfectly fused with the Vampire Touch. Fusion Success Rate: 100%, Performance Rate: 100%."

"Vampire Touch – Peak-quality Rank D dagger. Attack: 15-20, Lifesteal: 15%. Chance of causing Bleeding effect: 50%, causes target to lose 3HP/sec for 10 seconds. Can be integrated by Vampire Fangs. This weapon can be leveled up and upgraded. Skill Effect Priority: 30."

The Vampire Touch was clearly was a close combat weapon. With the instructions of Hong Lang, Shen Yi now clearly understood that when the Bloody Crest didn't give a certain BP value for an item, it meant that that item wasn't being sold in Bloody City. So even though the Vampire Touch was only a Rank D weapon, its value couldn't be calculated like other standard Rank D weapons.

This dagger obviously was Rank D, but it was as strong as a Rank DD weapon, let alone that it could still be leveled up and upgraded.
