My name is Samuel Jonathan Victor. I am an NYC detective by day and NYC mastermind by night. I she so much influence on the cut that I practically rub the place. Every single investigation goes through me- one of the perks of being Commissioner of NYC police. Every single crime that happens in NYC goes through me- from robberies of high value to assassinations. Those crimes that don't go through me, except for the petty robberies like pick pockets, etc.... I get to know of them, but honestly I couldn't care lesser. Once I reached where I am, I started calling myself Lucifer at night. It really effs up your prey when they hear that the Devil is coming for them. Initially,  people were skeptical. Five examples later, people started to understand what I truly was. And thus, I ruled NYC, the youngest commissioner at 29, for three years masquerading as the devil at night. Then one day, I met the actual devil sitting on my couch, with a deal too good to be true

"Why are you asking?" - Akira asked him, although she knew it very well as why he had put that question in front of her.
"Just curious to gauge how much effort I have to put in" - Raymond
"Effort for what?" - Akira 
Raymond chuckled at her naiveness and replied,
"For accessing you" - Raymond
She read the message sent by him and turned all red. If only Raymond could have seen her, he would have been amazed to see the impact of just a text message on her.
He knew that she would have gone weak in her knees seeing that message. So he texted her,
"Starting for the class now. See you soon" - Raymond
Akira saw his message and there was a surge of happiness inside of her.
She kept on roaming here and there inside of the house, drinking water, peeing and then drinking water again. The process continued till it was 6:30 pm and she started walking from her house towards the dance center.
The moment she started walking, she could see that a car had started moving slowly behind her. Remembering the words of Raymond, she got a bit cautious and started walking on the pavement side and joined along with a few random people who were also walking.
Just to check if the car was following her, she stopped and bent down to act like as if she was fixing her sandal straps and she saw the car stopping behind her as well. Getting a bit alarmed, she decided to call up Raymond.
"Hi there !!!"
"Hi, I am waling near my house and there is a car that's following me. At least I think so. There is a creepy looking bearded guy sitting inside the car. He definitely looks like a follower. What should I do now? Should I run back home?"
"Did you try to pause and check if the car was pausing as well?"
"Yes, I did that and the car also paused. I am standing and talking with you and I don't see the car moving as well."
"Ok, do one thing. you walk along with the people. Do not walk alone. Do you understand? And stay on the line with me till you reach the dance center."
"Yeah", saying that Akira started walking along with a couple. She tried to stick close to them.
"He has started moving again Raymond."
"Did you note down the car model and the number plate?"
"No, I am all scared Raymond, I didn't think of doing all that."
"That's the first thing you should do. Remember that now."
"Ok", she said and turned back.
"It's a Prussian blue Lexus RX model and the nameplate that says NYC 239H68."
"Good job Akira."
"Now go straight to your dance class."
"But then this guy will get to know where to attend my dance classes. He will inform the people who want to kill me right?"
"Akira, just do as I say", Raymond said with a mildly stern voice.
"Do you think he won't be already aware of your whereabouts. This guy will always be 10 steps ahead of you. So think rationally."
Even though she wanted to object, She knew that there must be some reason behind his suggestion.
So she followed his instruction and went towards the dance class.
She hurriedly crossed the lanes and then walked as fast as she could. The vehicle continued to follow her at the same pace.
She turned back and saw that the man was driving and talking with someone over the phone.
"Shit Raymond !!!"
"What happened Akira?"
"I think he is informing about my details to someone over the phone. I guess I am done."
"No, you are not. Just walk fast and reach the center and wait for me. I will reach there in a minute."
Hearing that she got some strength and she started walking as fast as she could as the dance center was just 200 meters away and on that straight road the car following her could anytime just speed up and hit her. So she was constantly checking the car and paced herself up as she ran.
Just after she reached the Center side, she stood outside looking straight in the direction of the car and took a deep breath to calm her heart and said,
"I have reached, but the car is still coming towards the center."
"I am also almost there Akira, don't you worry."
The moment Raymond had finished the sentence she saw that the blue Lexus also parked itself in front of the Center and she panicked.
"Raymond, he is coming for me. He had parked in front of the center and I guess he will come out any minute now. Should I go inside now? Where are you?"
She saw that bearded guy coming out of the car, holding the phone next to his ears and he said
"I have reached, Akira."

Gazing at the Starbucks cafe at the airports had become a ritual for her. A desperate attempt as she hoped against hope to see him again, probably get one more chance to kiss him again. Looking at the store all lost, she walked ahead, but then she stumbled and bumped against someone. 

The cup of coffee that he had in his hand spilled all over just like the first time when she had met him. 

"Jesus Christ", he muttered. 

The moment she heard the voice she looked up and saw his face. It was the same face that had promised to stay next to her, till death did them apart.

Tears flooded her eyes and all that she could utter was, "I knew you would come back for me Raymond". She raised herself on her toes in an attempt to kiss him but he blocked her with his hands.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa !!! I guess you have mistaken me for someone else."

"What are you saying, Raymond? It's me, your Akira. The love of your life, your fiancee," she said and stretched her hand showing the ring.

He stared at the ring for quite some time and then looked at her face apologetically and said, 

"Miss please, I am already a married man."

And then he silently walked away.

AMAYA'S POV

We had just dropped off James and Kat at the airport, they were going to honeymoon at one of Lorenzo's private islands; apparently he had several others scattered all over the world. 

"Where to?" Richard asked as we all piled in the limo.

"Home!" We all said in unison. 

The children passed out almost immediately and I was thinking of doing the same as soon as I got home.

"Are you tired wife? We just had lunch and the day is still young," Kyle said as he put his arm around me.

I rested my head on his shoulder and sighed,"I feel like it's night-time already." My phone vibrated in my purse and I pulled it out slowly. 

"Hey, Mandy!"

"Hey! Are we still on tonight?"

"I.."

"You forgot didn't you?"

"Remind me again please..?"

"PJ party tonight..with the girls..at your place..ring a bell or you can only think of your hot husband?"

"Oh yeaahh! I totally forgot! I'm so sorry!"

"Okay, great-so now that you remember..see you at six. Kisses."

 I groaned, and drew an uncertain hand across my forehead.

"Everything okay babe?" Kyle reached out for my hand.

"That was Andy's wife...It's my turn to host the girls tonight and it kind of slipped my mind.."

"Nooo..no, no.." Kyle turned his head from side to side. "That can't happen..not tonight. Tomorrow maybe-but not tonight babe."

"But they're coming over at six and it's too late to cancel-" 

"Babe..I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon and I'll be gone for a whole week! You need to do something-cancel or postpone-please babe?!" Kyle took my hand and pleaded with me.

"I..okay.." I agreed hesitantly.

"Give me their names? I'll help you call them so we can work faster that way."

"There's Hailey.."

"I'll call Justin and he can let her down gently-who else?"

"Lana-I will call her don't worry-then Nicole and Sabrina.."

"I'll call Keith and Idris as well," he scrolled through his phone with focused determination.

"Let me call Priyanka and if I can't get a hold of her then you'll have to call Nick."

"Gladly babe." As he leaned over, he smiled faintly, and imprinted a kiss on my lips.

"I can't believe you're making me do this to the only friends I have," I pretended to pout, fidgeted in his arm, arched my neck.

"I'll make it worth your while babe..you can count on it.." He smiled and winked at me.

After we had made all the necessary calls we arrived home and put the kids straight to bed. Kyle and Richard had the pleasure of carrying the twins upstairs and I had KJ.

"When did Rachel get so big?!" Kyle huffed as we traipsed up the steps in a single file.

"About the same time as Ethan, I guess.." Richard said from behind.

"So what do you want to do now?" Kyle asked as he loosened his tie and started to unbutton his shirt.

"I honestly don't know," I laughed and grabbed an over-sized t-shirt to slip over my head, "we rarely have a free afternoon..it's kind of weird to be at home with nothing to do."

"I know what you mean!" He laughed and his phone vibrated on the bed in defiance to my statement.

"Dr. Powell-I mean Anne-"

"Kyle..it's you father he-we're at the hospital-"

"Which hospital Anne?!"

"At NYC just after-"

"We're on our way." 

"Get dressed babe. Lorenzo has just been taken to the hospital," Kyle said as he slipped on a pair black of jeans and a matching long-sleeved t-shirt. 

"Did she say what the problem was?" I looked at him with concern, while he put on his Chelsea boots.

"No. Just that Lorenzo had been admitted at NYC Medical Center-we got to go babe. Please dress warm-it could be a long night." He went to grab a coat from the closet and went down to tell Maria and Jackie to keep an eye on the kids; while I finished up.

"Are you okay?" I held onto his arm as we walked into the hospital.

"You're here so I will be." He pressed his lips on my forehead.

"Kyle, Maya!" Anne ran towards us as we approached the hospital reception.

"Dr. Powell, what happened to Lorenzo?" I inquired.

"Let's go and talk in the waiting room? There's more privacy." She suggested.

"What is he doing here?!" Kyle looked straight past Anne, and scowled at none other than Augustino.

"Hello, Kyle." He strutted, posed, and smirked in a way highly offensive to the brother. "Tesoro." Then, in the next instant, a crafty triumph gleamed from his eyes.

"You shouldn't be here. I think you should go." Kyle stood with clenched fists and flashing eyes, ready to pounce.

"I have every right to be here," he glanced at his fingernails and pretended to study them intently.

"No, you don't. He told me everything so that disqualifies you from being here."

"Says who?" He quirked a challenging eyebrow.

"Kyle, please don't waste your breath. Let's go. Richard and the security team will handle this." I pulled his arm and he backed away reluctantly. 

I told Lorenzo's bodyguards to escort Tino out of the building and not allow him anywhere near Lorenzo. "We will meet again.." he threatened as he retreated.

We finally made it to the waiting room and Dr. Powell was able to tell us what happened. Apparently it was food poisoning but Tino's behavior left us all wondering. We all ate the same food at the wedding but we seemed fine.  

The doctor came to tell us that we could go in and see Lorenzo and that it was nothing major.  "He can probably go home tomorrow. We just need to keep him under observation tonight." 

We went in to see him and he just seemed tired more than anything. "Anne..I hope you didn't call all my children." He grumbled.

"Only Kyle..and Maya of cos.." Anne stood at his bedside and smiled down at him.

"Are you bailing out on our trip Romano?" Kyle grinned at his father.

"In your dreams son." He grunted as Kyle helped him sit up. "We're going to Rome tomorrow. Come rain come hail."

"Do you think that's a good idea, old man?" I teased him.

"I promised Rachel I would be there so I have to go. Please don't try talking me out of it." He held up his hands and turned his head to the side.

"If you insist.." Kyle sighed.

"Anyway...Anne and I have news.." He raised her hand and flashed a simple diamond ring.

"We're engaged!" Anne gushed and leaned over to kiss him.

"Oh-wow-okay then.." Kyle scratched the side of his head and I stepped on his toes.

"Congratulations to you both!" I stepped forward and hugged them.

"Kyle?" Lorenzo gave his son a questioning gaze.

"Did Kat and Jamie have anything to do with this decision?"

"What can I say? Weddings are contagious and have a domino effect-sue me for being a hopeless romantic in my old age," Lorenzo ranted.

"Then congratulations Dad..and Anne." I hugged my father. "Wait-does that mean I have to call you Mom now?"

"No!" Anne refuted and we all laughed.

"I think we're going to head out now," Kyle said as the nurses came to kick us out.

"Maya-wait. A quick word," Lorenzo said, "alone if you don't mind son?"

"Sure." Kyle nodded,  "I'll see you outside babe. Take care Romano," he waved at his father as he walked out with Anne.

"What's up?" I moved closer to his bed.

"I need you to get me a gun." He said with a serious face.

"Lorenzo I-"

"Please. My life is in danger baby girl. I need to protect myself."

"Why don't you get one from your bodyguards? I'm sure they-"

"I can't trust them, sweetheart. I don't know who to trust right now-please do this one little favor for me?" He appealed to me directly, once more. 

"Okay," I took my hand in his, "Richard will come with the uh-utensils..soon." 

"Thank you, baby girl!" He flashed me a genuine smile. "I knew I could count on you to deliver."

"If Kyle asks I'm not going to lie for you," I advised.

"Fair enough. Just get me what I need and I will sort out the rest."

"I'll tell Kyle to get you some loyal reinforcements for now..so that you can at least get some sleep tonight." I offered.

"You're the best sweetheart," he kissed my forehead as I said goodbye.

T-minus
 
The Der'Mo in the Morning studio was on the ground floor. The first time Nom had seen a clip of the show, it seemed a rather add place to put a studio. The same could be said for most of the morning shows. But then, most morning shows failed to get a sitting President of the United States as a guest. 
It was quarter to three, and the crew was putting the final preparations into the set. The show would not begin for another two hours, but everything had to be perfect for such an illustrious guest as the President. The Secret Service massed all around the studio. To even get in, Nom had to show his still warm company ID and be cleared. Even the coffee boy had to go through a magnetometer and have his caffeinated essence of life x-rayed. 
It took a few extra moments for clearance. Nom had not been on the list of preapproved personnel ZLOY had provided when the SS had asked a few days before. Fortunately for him, Kaitlyn had sent in an email adding him on the day before. It seemed that the background clearance had not been completed yet. Still, he was an official employee, vouched for by their contact at ZLOY, and he had been screened for weapons. Nom did not even have to adjust their minds. Five minutes after arriving, he was given access.
The studio was far smaller than he had expected. Unlike its competitors, Der'Mo in the Morning did not use an indoor audience to ham things up. It was a purely functional space. Along two walls, Nom could see out into Rockefeller Plaza. He walked over to an agent standing by the south wall observing the preparations. 
"Hi." Nom said, extending his hand.
"Hello, sir." The agent said, taking it. "What are you doing here?" 
"I'm here from corporate. The show is one of our cash cows, but, as with all things, there is the ever-pressing question: Is there any way we can trim the fat?" Nom said with a chuckle.
"Ah." The agent replied. "Looking for something specific?"
"Nope." Nom said. "Efficiency is a science when it comes to factories and corporate bureaucracy, but not in a case like this. These shows are artistic. Can't crimp down on our artists, or the viewers might notice and slip away." Nom replied.
"Then why did they send you?" 
"A bureaucrat thought there might be fat to trim, so I was sent to write a report. I'll draft one, explaining how this show is the most profitable show for its time slot in every major American market." Nom said.
"So, just here taking in the view?" The agent asked gesturing outside.
"Nope." Nom replied. "I'm going to do what they asked. I'll write my analysis, going over all the numbers as usual. But I have to be able to describe how all the money we pour into this show is used. Can't do that without seeing it first-hand. It's a matter of instinct to know what can and can't be cut, not just numbers in an artistic case like this." Nom said with a gleam in his eye. Waxing fake academic on the pedantic was an easy way to lull people's confidences.
The agent grunted agreement, growing bored.
"Hey, I was wondering about something." Nom said.
"What?".
"Well, in a few hours, the most vulnerable man in the world, with the most vigorous security apparatus ever known to our species, will be sitting on that couch." Nom said, pointing to the center piece.
The agent nodded.
"Anyone can see that you people have this studio locked up tighter than a drum head. It's not very likely that a threat would come from the inside. But every time I've watched one of these shows, there has always been a glaring unaddressed risk." Nom said.
"What's that?" The agent said, his voice perking up a bit. The conversation was becoming more interesting.
"Oh, the windows." Nom said. 
"The windows?" The agent asked in puzzlement.
"Well. I'm looking out there right now, and you have NYPD securing Rockefeller Plaza as we speak. No one can get close enough to cause a problem. You have salt trucks lining the side of the road, to block would be bombers from ramming a truck in. Cops are pulling out all of the hobos and late night tourists to keep shooters out." Nom said.
The agent nodded. "Yes, it's our job to keep threats away. This is a ground floor studio, we can't take any risks."
"What about snipers?" Nom asked.
The agent looked a little surprised. "You're starting to worry me a bit pal."
"Oh, I'm not making a threat!" Nom said holding both hands up in mock surprise. "I'm just saying that those windows offer a great view of the President of the United States. A view visible from literally thousands of offices and hotel rooms around the square. It was only a few months ago that a shooter in Las Vegas blew out a hotel window and shot up a country music fest. NYC may have strict gun laws, but that doesn't keep a man from field stripping a long rifle, smuggling it in, buying green tip ammo, and going to town out of a window with a bump stock." Nom said in a hurried finish. 
"Sir, I cannot discuss security measures for the President. But, since you do seem to be genuinely worried," The agent leaned in. "Not many people know this, but all of these ground floor studios have bullet proof windows." 
"Really?" Nom said impressed. "I would have thought they would cost far too much for that. Plus, when I look at the ones they have in a bank, they look thick like an aquarium. These windows look normal and thin." Nom said.
The agent nodded to the window behind the couch. "It's an inch and a half thick. It doesn't look it, but it is. Back in the nineties congress passed a special appropriation for us."
"You mean the Secret Service?" Nom asked.
 "Yes. We had a problem securing the morning shows. It is rare for the President to come to one of these studios in person, usually they send a crew to the White House. But we do have a lot of high ranking personnel in here on a regular basis, congress people, cabinet level even. We were worried but the News stations, they had to be political. So, we fortified the studios. None can be approached from the streets, and all have barricades. The buildings are blast resistant, and the windows can take a shot from a fifty-cal BMG." The agent said.
"No way." Nom said dismissively. "I own a BMG. That thing will shoot clean through two inches of aluminum. I blew clean through the engine block on an old Chevy Aveo out at my range with a green tip. If I can punch though solid metal, what challenge will bullet proof glass be?" Nom asked.
"Well green tip ammo is one thing." the agent said. "But the difference is that your aluminum block is solid. Polycarbonate windows are made of hundreds of layers. Hard, soft, hard, soft. Each with the crystal lattice running at ninety degrees to the last. The result is a relatively thin window that acts like a pillow. The hard casing layer holds it together, the soft layer takes and spreads out the blow." 
"So, we're not at risk if some nut job goes after the President?" Nom asked.
"You are safe as it can ever be in NYC, when you are in POTUS's presence. It is our job to guarantee it." The agent said with pride.
Nom nodded. "Well, I'll let you get back to it."
Nom walked away from the agent. Over the next few hours, he made a show of observing the studio, the booths, and every aspect of the production. He asked questions, took notes, and did everything a bureaucratic worm looking for a corpse to feed on normally would. 
The beautiful thing about his cover was that a stench of career death wafted from him. No one on the staff wanted to be seen with him out of loyalty or been seen avoiding him out of self-preservation. The end result was that the show hummed along as if he wasn't even there. 
Tom Glopyy was the first cast member to appear. He was followed shortly by Sunny Torkret. The pair were still yet to don their coats and had makeup paper sticking out of their collars. The blond set of legs Du jour was Kelly Blyad. Females had a notoriously short shelf life on the show. She was the last to arrive. The trio engaged in a bit of banter over coffee along with last minute discussions with the show producer. By five-fifty, they were on their couch. At two minutes to six the studio went silent, as the camera started their live feed to the control room. 
Nom found a chair out the way and sat down to watch.
The first fifteen minutes of the show were uneventful. A creative fictionalized retelling of the morning's news, filtered through a heavy mesh of bull shit. Nom had to bite his cheeks to keep from roaring with laughter. Then Sunny Torkret announced that the audience was in for a treat, the most "popular" President in US history would be visiting the studio at the bottom of the hour. Nom felt blood trickling into his mouth. The effort to not laugh at the absurd lies had caused him to bite almost through both of his cheeks.

Death, a Biography, is a fictional horror novel. It is crass, violent, profane, and not meant for the light hearted reader. Imagine living in a world surrounded by fools. One day while driving in Texas he finds that he has the ability to wish death on those he hates. Being scientifically minded, Nom proceeds to experiment searching out the scopes of his new found powers. He begins in Texas, a state he despises. As he moves on from each experiment, he picks his prey to match some facet of modern western life that he hates. Each receive a fate customized to match what Nom feels they did wrong. Nom then travels home to Michigan after initially defining his new role in life. In Michigan he uses his powers to settle a few old scores and family business. A run-in with an old friend convinces him that he is being selfish for not using his god like powers to better mold humanity. The end of the book sees him taking on the leader of the free world. Nom now personifying Death, learns that he has a true foe, Life.Nom will return.

I guess I was so concentrated on singing that I didn't hear when Andrew came back. He stood at the bedroom's entrance, watching me closely. I was standing at the window, looking out of it.

"My my, you sounded like an angel~." He said, startling me slightly. 

Turning around, I started to turn red as a tomato. "H-hehe. H-how long have you b-been standing th-there?"

"Uh, I guess nearly since you started singing."

"O-Oh!"

"Anyways, I'm also guessing you searched our current location?"

"Yes, I did."

"And?"

"You're crazy!"

"Why?"

"Because!! I've never gone anywhere beside NYC! I'm really new to traveling...it slightly makes me feel sick.."

"Hm...are you not from Tokyo?"

"I was there for a short time before moving with my foster parents near NYC..." I lied hoping he would not notice it wasn't the truth. 

I was actually born in the World of Immortals. A whole different dimension. Then, when I started living with my foster parents, was came to the humans dimension. For a while, we stayed in Tokyo that was somewhat like my birth place. Then, we moved to a place that was a few hours away from NYC. Unfortunately, I do not know what that place was called.

"Oh, I see." He said with a strange tone. 

Looking away to avoid eye contact, my phone suddenly vibrates. Checking it, I see it's a text from my once older foster brother, Shade Midnight Mia.

[text- Be careful. They are after you again now that you are starting a new life.]

So, Silver and Roxas are going after me to kill me again huh? This is about the third time. I already have someone who hates and envies me. Her name is Hinata Tsunatsu. A girl from the Tsunatsu bloodline who is currently after the prince of the bloodline--Leon. 

Putting my phone to the side, I let out an irritated sigh. 

"Is everything okay?" Andrew asked.

Not wanting to worry him much, I give him a cute smile, "Of course!"

Andrew blushes lightly as he looks away slightly pouting, "Come on. The food is getting cold."

He then walks away. I couldn't help but laugh due to his reaction. Thinking about what happened minutes ago, I started blushing. I never sang in front of no one unless I had to. And when those moments came, I would sing in English. Not any other language like Japanese. 

"He heard me singing in Japanese....."

Shrugging away the thought, I walk out the room and head to the dining table.

"So, this was the healthiest thing they had here." He said.

"Okay." I said as I sat down.

Andrew then serves the breakfast and sits next to me.

"Itdakimasu!" I said as I started eating.

Andrew smiled small and too started eating.

On Christmas day, Yaorui had gotten up later than usual, turns out she still hasn't recovered entirely from the jetlag.
On Christmas eve, she, Wenshi and the boys went on a shopping spree. They toured the city and stopped by the most expensive places in the whole of NYC.
While they travelled with nothing but their mini backpacks containing their necessities, Hu Angli and Li Long Ao were forced to carry all their souvenirs.
There were times when they had no choice but to return to the hotel to drop off their shopping bags. When they got hungry, they found that it was quite easy to find a food truck or stand that is selling food.
When they decided to end shopping for the day, they stopped by the Rockefeller Center to take a picture of the enormous Christmas Tree.
By the time they finally made it back, they were all exhausted and could not wait to get back in bed.
She took a quick rinse before hopping into bed to call Samuel. They spoke for two hours before Samuel hung up to allow her rest there was going to be a gala the next night after all. He wanted her to look and be in her best condition despite wanting to claw every single male's eyes that looked her way.
Today she had slept in an extra three hours, waking up at 8:30am.
"Mmmmm," She stretched out her body, then curled up with her pillow and fell back asleep.

4 hours later
. . . . .
At 12:30, Yaorui began to show signs of waking up from her slumber. She squeezed her pillow, earning a groan from it.
Wait.
She shot out of bed and screamed with all her throat would allow. 
In her bed sat a shocked Hu Angli whose hand was still in midair from gently stroking Yaorui's hair just moments before.
He did not share the embarrassment that Yaorui held, but he did understand where she was coming from.
"Young miss! What seems to be the problem?!" All four of her guards burst through the door, breaking it in the process.
"Who let him into my room!?" She screamed and pointed at Hu Angli, who waved and smiled at them like everything was completely normal.
"He said he was your lover, we assumed that it was safe to let him in alone,"
"My father doesn't even allow my brothers in my room! What makes you think that he is!?"
And that was how her day began.

Zhang Wenshi's and Li Long Ao's suite

"Yaorui~~~~~~~~!" Zhang Wenshi cried out as she opened the door.
"Wenshi~~~~~~~!" She copied Zhang Wenshi and moved in for a hug.
"Let's start with picking our dresses for tonight," Zhang Wenshi pulled Yaorui into the living space of the suite. There, all of the dresses that were bought by Wenshi were already laid out.
Hu Angli followed behind them carrying all of her bags, he dropped them by in the center of the living room before taking his leave to join Long Ao at the gym while the girls did girly things.
The first dress Yaorui tried on was a ball gown dress. The skirt was layered with hundreds of tulle fabric that gave it the poof. The outermost layers were made with red lace. 
The bodice was a perfect fit for Yaorui, it had a longboat neckline, and the sleeves went off the shoulders. 
The second dress she picked was a green-ish dress with a roundabout neckline that went down to the knees. The bodice of the dress was made with silk, lace was placed on top to make it look more elegant. The skirt was made of ten layers of silk and had a beautiful effect when she twirled.
Gold flakes were glued onto the skirt in the shape of the continents. They would sparkle shine when she walked and made it look as if she was glowing.
The next dress was a pale yellow dress. It had a sweetheart neckline and came with a cape that was supposed to be placed on her shoulders. It was another knee-length dress with a layered tulle skirt and a Satin bodice complete with a folded satin belt or ribbon.
On the cape was a beautiful and simple floral design.
The last dress is a retro navy blue ball gown. There was lace at the top of the swoop neck neckline that was transparent and revealed her collar bones. The entirety of the dress was made with tulle and was surprisingly comfortable for a tulle dress. 
It was a floor-length dress, and the sleeves were long. The sleeves were transparent and loose, providing plenty of breather space.

Zhang Wenshi chose her top three dresses and tried them all on. 
The first one was a burgundy pink mermaid dress with a tulle bottom. Embroidery was used to decorate the whole of the dress up to the point of the 'fins,' 
The sleeves rested just at the edge of her shoulders, complete with a queen anne neckline. 
The next dress was a midnight black and purple knee-length dress. It was an off the shoulder dress. The top was pitch black, and the skirt was a dark purple that faded into a lilac colour. 
The last one was a backless white floor-length dress. It was a waterfall gown that very much represented a wedding dress if not for the blue-ish gray colouring near the bottom of the dress. It had a halter top neckline and was made of tulle and silk, the bodice is made of silk and the skirt, tulle.
It was already 2:00pm when they had finally chosen their dresses.

They went down to the hotel spa for some cleansing and returned at four.
By then, the boys had returned and were playing video games while they awaited the return of the 'girls,'
When Yaorui and Wenshi finally returned from their spa appointment, they came in looking like goddesses. At least that was what they looked like in Hu Angli and Li Long Ao's eyes. Somehow, they felt very underdressed in their presence. 
While they wore sweats, the girls were wearing much more fashionable clothing that did not have crumbs loitering on their clothes.
They stood up, clearly embarrassed by their clothing. 
If they hadn't lost track of the time they would have definitely looked much better than in their current state.
But fortunately, the girls did not spare a glance at their messy appearance, and made their way into Wenshi's bedroom to get ready they assumed.
Or was that unfortunate?
Whatever it was, they sighed out in relief and raced to Long Ao's room to get ready as well.

News Reporters were everywhere. They interviewed several bigshots and competed for the best spot to film the whole thing.
Bigshot after bigshot kept showing up in luxury cars and limos, dressed in their best attire.
There were so many Armani suits that it would be easy to say that they were just common suits anyone could get. Superstars wore they're flashiest dresses, and the boldest make up in an attempt to make tomorrow's headlines.
But they were not who the reporters wanted. They wanted to get a glimpse of the hidden royal princess of Duke Johnathan the third. As well as the infamous Oliver Hu (Hu Angli's English name) of Blood Rose. Many people wished to meet up with him to secure deals or gigs for themselves or their employer/ artist.
Several Asian reporters had flown over to interview Hu Angli, and most of all, the Li Family second young master and first miss. But what they were most curious about was if the relationship rumours going around were true.
"Look, it's the Li Family Insignia!"
"There's the Hu Family crest!"
"The flag of the Royal family!"

Several thousand years ago, a species very similar to humans arrived, they helped the humans grow and strengthen. The only condition, to never record anything related to them in history. It was best to leave a few things to the imagination.

Expect a high level of cringe in the first few chapters.

"Cevin," my twin sister called out to me and I automatically looked back to see her. I was quite surprised that the book that I was holding almost fell from my hands. 

Both my sister and I work in the library as student assistants. Our father died because of a car crash and our mother on the other hand works as a call center agent. Her salary isn't enough for the three of us that is why my sister and I became student assistants. It's the least we could do for us; for our mother.

"Ma'am told me to tell you to go to the room at the back of the library. She wants you to look for the book titled 'The Last True Cowboy' by Kathleen Eagle," she added and I just nodded at her as my answer. My sister got some books and she went to her desk to fix the cards of the books. I walked swiftly towards the room to find the book I was asked to look for. 

I arrived at the room and turned on the switch of the room but the bulbs didn't light up. I turned on the flashlight of my phone and one by one, I looked at the shelves to see the book ma'am wanted me to get for her.

I saw different kinds of books on the shelves, with different genres made in different timelines. Almost all of the books here are books that aren't frequently used or borrowed. Old books, to be more specific. Fiction, non-fiction, old news articles, et cetera. Most of them are all kept here but the problem is, the books aren't all organized which makes looking for specific books difficult to see.

I also have the interest in reading books. I don't find watching television very interesting because it doesn't get me to use my imagination very well. In every book that I read, I like it when I get to imagine the worlds or the situations being described by the author through his or her character's senses. In this way, I get to make my mind active other than doing school works.

My index finger stopped when I saw the book I was supposed to look for. I pulled the book from the shelf but was a little bit startled when a black book beside it fell on the floor. It was opened when it landed and to my curiosity, I pointed at my phone to see what book it was. 

"Weird," I commented when I saw nothing written, drawn, or printed on its pages. I knelt down to further examine the book but when I came across its book cover, it even had no title. I got lazy returning it on the shelf so I just left the book on the floor. 

I went outside the room and went straight to my sister, Terra, at the main desk and sat beside her.

“Only those with great intentions can see this book and those chosen by the book will make its desired story… 
but you will never return.”

The author had an idea when he ate delicious Italian pasta. But the pasta came from Arabistan? Although others say that the Arabs borrowed the idea from China along the Silk Road. After they've arrived Loki was lead to his cage, but John couldn't help it but get worried because Loki didn't control anyone so he stared at all of Loki's action but this had come with a sacrifice, his phone which he loves so much was at its last percentages of the battery. After a while of staring, John was bored out of his mind because he didn't have a phone to play on so he thought of an idea that could repress his boredom, he thought and he cursed himself because he forgot about his cultivation. 


John sat down and meditated while he was meditating, Loki who was supposed to be in the cage was out of the cage. Loki thought 'Father's artifacts truly is powerful' as he walks toward a wall and opens it. John who's meditating didn't sense or heard this because he was too focused on meditation that he forgot that he had a prisoner to guard.

"Director Fury, Loki escaped from the cage and opened a wall to fly thought to" Agent Coulson said to Fury who's eyes were twitching from annoyance. He honestly thought that John could guard the prisoner better than they would do and here it is the prisoner escaped with the information of the whereabouts of the tesseract. 


"S***, where's the Green Goblin, what is he doing right now?" Fury said to Agent Coulson who immediately checked the CCTV on the cage. 


"Director Fury, he's meditating..." Agent Coulson embarrassingly said to Fury who's expression could easily tell his angry. They were both dumbfounded by John who could easily let a criminal who holds the tesseract and if they knew of the reason why he meditated they could easily bonk their head to a wall.


"Agent sounds the alarm for Level 8, Yes I'm raising his level and announce that Loki has escaped," Fury said to Agent Coulson who immediately followed the commands given to him. The alarm enveloped the entire airship and John who was meditating peacefully heard that Loki escaped, he embarrassingly got up and slowly tried to figure out a way to salvage this situation.


John who was thinking of an idea on how to salvage this situation and make it favorable for him suddenly has a lightbulb being lit up above his head. John knocked on every single door of the airship just find and gather the Avengers on the assembly room. When he gathered all of them.


"People, I'm here now because I have known the whereabouts of Loki and Stark you wouldn't like it," John said mysteriously to the Avengers who's two eyes were frowning.


"They say it where's his current location," Start said to the Green Goblin. he was quite curious about the whereabouts of Loki, which he wouldn't like one bit. 


"Stark's tower the biggest building in NYC, which of course is also Stark's most prized possession who shot him on the face with a repulsor," John said to Stark.


"Then let's get going now, we need to catch this criminal before he destroys my tower and NYC with the cube thingy and oh yeah do you guys like hotdogs there's many hotdog stands on NYC after this let's go and visit them" Stark said jokingly to all of the Avengers who had serious expression plastered on their faces and didn't mind Stark's antics. 


When they've arrived on Stark's tower they saw Loki no two Loki's who's holding the tesseract hand in hand. When the two Loki's saw the Avengers they immediately pulled out an artifact which Odin gave him, that can open up a portal for the chitauri army to go through. 


"Umm Thor what's that he's holding," John asked Thor who was blinking and dumbfounded because he knows of the artifact that Loki's holding.


"Loki don't open a portal here and why do have that artifact I thought father kept that in the treasure room," Thor said to Loki who was busy opening the portal. After some seconds a portal opened. 


"You truly are a naive brother, why do you think I have artifacts on me? it's because I'm going to defeat this army" Two Loki's simultaneously said to Thor who suddenly got the idea. One of the Loki threw the tesseract and some of the artifacts to Thor. 


"Comrades don't attack Loki I now know what he's planning" Thor said depressingly to the Avengers who's was curious to what Loki had cooked for Thor to be this depressed and they didn't wait for a while to see it, the two Loki's fly's through the portal and lets out an artifact which causes a massive explosion which brought down the portal and chitauri army. 


"Ahhhhhh Brother why didn't you informed me till it's too late, I need to go to Asgard and know what happened" Thor depressingly said to his 'deceased' brother. The Avengers comforted Thor.


"Comrades I need to go back let me battle with you again next time," Thor said to the Avengers whilst opening up a portal to Asgard and entering it. 


"So do you guys want hotdogs or the delicious shawarma I don't know what it is but I think it's delicious" Stark jokingly said to the Avengers to ease the tension. John who was hungry replied. 


"Lead the way Stark I'm famished beyond saving," John said to Stark who changed his armor with the ring on his tower and lead them to his office and ordered shawarma and hotdogs for his comrades who immediately eat without a noise. it was truly an uneventful and quiet afternoon for them.
