I never had much going for my life, now I finally got the game S.A.G.O. and can enjoy my time banging any anime girl I wish! It is time to throw all caution to the wind and fest on all depravities I can. (Anything is valid, pure smut fic, this is my first smut fic better be warned) (Disclaimer: this is a work of fiction, nothing of what I put here has any relation with reality, all works I mention are property of the creators, ask what character you want to see next from any of the words mentioned in chapter 1)

In a small apartment with only two rooms, one being the bathroom was an assortment of anime and video game paraphernalia, from posters of cute anime girls doing certain poses to a large glass display cabinet showcasing mechanical looking humanoids with various weaponry, otherwise called mechas, or Gundams by otakus.

Aside from that cabinet were multiple other display cabinets with other various other items such as skimpily clad anime girl figurines to even some figurines of popular hero movie characters like iron-man and spider-man.

The bed as well had a cute pattern of chibi anime characters along with the pillow, Just across from the bed that was situated at the corner of the room was a gaming set-up with a large wooden desk, three high-quality monitors and gaming PC just underneath.

Unlike usual gaming setups, the wires were not messy and were actually zip-tied together, atop the desk along with the monitors were several miscellaneous items like figurines, drinks and snacks, and a thick notebook that seemed to be nearly full with several other notebooks that had been completely written in nearby.

Sitting on a gaming swivel chair with a pair of gaming headphones on was a middle-aged man that looked like he was in his late forties with short brown hair and deep brown eyes. Though he would not be considered handsome by the general populace, his face was above average mainly due to the good hygiene he practices daily.

If people were to see him walking the streets they would not consider him fat, but would not consider him fit either, though he does have a bit of a gut from eating fast-food quite frequently. Despite that, he had taught himself to cook some simple dishes such as mac and cheese, gravy, fried chicken and various other unhealthy yet delicious dishes.

Currently, he was playing a relatively new MMORPG that came out a couple of months ago called 'God Descendents' where players are the descendants of the gods in the game, It was extremely popular due to the endless combinations of skills and abilities players can choose from and the fact that there were no specific classes and thus no class restrictions.

He was currently level 57, which could be considered one of the highest levels a player could have in the game, with the majority still at level 30 to 40, with professionals still at level 40 to 50. Though he didn't have the highest level in the game, the honor going to someone with level 63, it still showcased his skill and expertise which made anyone who saw his level flock to his character with party and guild invites.

His character was currently at a secluded corner of the map where he had discovered a good farming spot for his current level with no one else around, though he knew some players had followed him to discover any good farming spots such as this one. Luckily they were all normal players with an average of level 30 to 35 and he had purposely led them to certain areas with mobs that could easily kill and distract them while his character slid away to go to his farming spot.

He had been farming in that particular spot for the past hour and a half while listening to a playlist consisting of his favorite songs from anime and popular artists. His character on-screen had suddenly stopped moving along with the mobs he had been farming, the in-game music that had been playing had stopped as well.

Thinking it was a lag spike he waited patiently for it to stop, after a few seconds a small frown appeared on his face followed by an annoyed groan tens of seconds after. The computer seemed to have hanged as he was unable to move his mouse or exit the game. 

It was quite unusual as he had personally built this PC with the latest parts and had experienced little to no lag or problems when using it even to play games with insane graphics settings. He reached down to manually turn off his PC to reboot it but was confused when the screen still showed the frozen game. 

Thinking his computer had somehow broken, he laid down onto his bed wanting to watch some new anime episodes he had stockpiled on his phone as he was too lazy currently to find out what was wrong with his computer.

And just like his computer, his phone refused to light up as well. He knew that it wasn't simply uncharged as it would still display a battery icon that was empty which would indicate that it needed charging, but it had not appeared.

He finally noticed something was wrong as he strained his ears and discovered that he could no longer hear the sounds of cars and the general sounds he usually heard outside his apartment. He hurriedly ran to his glass balcony door and pulled the closed curtains aside, revealing a world of white.

Not believing what he saw, he opened the door and stepped out onto the balcony, confirming that no matter which angle he looked from, all he saw was a never-ending white background. He withheld any sort of speculation surrounding his current predicament and attempted to open his front door. 

His door didn't even budge, nor was he able to even turn the doorknob, this whole situation didn't match any of the scenarios he had read in novels before besides the ones where you were a soul floating in an endless expanse of nothingness. 

Though he wasn't a soul and it was his apartment that was floating amongst nothingness. He was expecting some otherworldly entity to come and explain the situation to him as he hoped that it didn't just leave him stranded in the middle of nothingness as a joke or because they were bored.

Deciding to wait until something changes he sat back down on his gaming chair and looked through his notebooks filled to the brim with ideas and plans of adventures in other worlds or if the world experienced an apocalypse, he had properly researched all sorts of survival guides and had even purchased loads of survival equipment online just in case.

He had even bought a cool multi-tool shovel that looked like it came from a sci-fi movie just leaning against the wall as he enjoyed looking at it from time to time.

After an hour or so of reading through his notebooks and fiddling with his shovel, swinging it around like it was a weapon, the speakers on his desk started playing static sounds before an androgynous voice started speaking. 

'Testing testing, can you hear me? I Apologise for the delay as my schedule has been quite tight lately'  The voice spoke out in an apologetic tone. 

He wasn't upset in the slightest and was actually extremely relieved that someone finally came, or came at all as in a small corner of his mind, he had imagined himself dying of starvation and thirst in his apartment in the middle of the great expanse of nothingness.

"I-It's fine!! It's totally fine, I occupied myself with my notebooks so It didn't feel like a long time." He answered politely, and it was also true that was engrossed in his notebooks as he was already imagining scenarios of what was to come as his situation was within the realms of fiction. 

'I am glad that is the case, I will delay no longer and explain the circumstances you find yourself in, feel free to interrupt at any moment for questions you have but I would recommend waiting when I am finished as most of them should be answered with my explanation.'

He nodded in understanding as he sat down on his gaming chair to listen to the otherworldly being's explanation, taking out a fresh notebook and getting ready to take down notes. 

The being chuckled lightly as they somehow saw him ready to take down notes and spoke out.

'That will be unnecessary dear candidate, Our conversation will be logged here on your monitor along with visual aid when I deem it is needed'

The middle monitor had changed from his frozen game to a blank background filled with text of what they previously had spoken. 

The otherworldly being was referred to as '???' while he was referred to as 'candidate'.

'Now I shall begin. You, dear candidate, have been chosen to transmigrate to another world'

'But of course, with situations like this, you would be receiving powers and abilities to be able to thrive and survive in the other world'

'When a candidate is selected, they are assigned a random number of points within a predetermined range along with additional points based on the life they had lived up to that point, due to certain rules I am unable to inform you of how your life is scored in relation to points but can tell you that you have 37% more points gained from your life compared to 60% of all candidates'

A graph appeared on the monitor that displayed the differences between him and other candidates, showing that he was in the upper percentile, but compared to the candidates at the end of the graph, he could not even be compared to them.

'The random number of points you have obtained is in the top 15th percentile, having 108% more points than 80% of all candidates, I would like to congratulate you on your immense luck.' 

Another graph appeared similar to the previous one, and it was visible that he was at the far end of the spectrum along with other fortuitous candidates, but still nowhere close to the ones near the top.

'With these points, you are able to purchase anything you desire within your imagination and more, the reason I mentioned powers and abilities earlier is due to them being the most useful and what the majority of candidates focus on.'

'You can mix and match anything you desire such as having an immense number of skills and abilities that are weak but greatly complement each other or focus fully into one power, as it is within your imagination you can even imagine how much points it would cost and we would provide it, though its quality would be restricted by how much points you had allocated.'

'Asking for enhanced strength with a higher point cost will obviously make it stronger, and the opposite weaker, so that candidates are able to properly synergize their skills and powers to their heart's content.'

'Also, anything deemed to be temporary or consumable is strictly disallowed to be purchased and we try to accommodate by suggesting the next cheapest permanent alternative'

'An example would be if a candidate wishes to have a burger when he arrives at the other world, we would reject his request and suggest an ability to create a single burger after a certain period of time, which would be deemed as infinite consumable regardless of the period it takes to create another one.'

'Another example is if someone wishes to have a weapon when they enter the other world and we usually suggest making it soul-bound which would allow it to be summoned if lost or stolen, along with the ability to regenerate itself if broken or destroyed but at a certain cost. We also suggest adding a growth factor or evolution factor that allows the weapons to evolve and grow stronger along with the candidate so as to still be useful at the later stages of their strength and life'

The more and more he listened to the being talk, the more excited he started to get as he shook in excitement at all the possibilities, though he more or less already knew what he was going to buy. 

'Now that I have explained the basics, are there any questions that you have for me? I shall answer to the best of my ability and what is allowed'

Without hesitation, he shouted out his question as if he was holding it in since the beginning.

"Can you make me the cutest?! The cutest in the Omniverse!"

MC: So I can choose anything within my allocated points and imagination?

???: Yes, from Almighty Systems to Evolving Weaponry, to Dominating Cultivation Techniques, anything you desire. 

MC: Then, make me the cutest! The cutest in the Omniverse!

???: ...

He KNEW this was some sort of karmic joke. He shouldn't have laughed at someone else's seemingly 'silly' problem, even if said person was a fictional character. Now, he was forced to accept that, indeed, ending everything with one punch could get frustrating, especially for a Gamer. Then again, when you get trapped inside a game where Death is very much real, that can only be a good thing...right?

Fate is a flickering thing…and it also has a very twisted humor sense.
The slightest, minuscule change in a determined chain of events can make it so that things become completely and utterly different than how they should be. This phenomenon is what creates what some call 'The Multiverse': All possibilities are possible.
And yet, sometimes, SOMETHING ELSE also helps to push things in unexpected ways…

"What's your name, little boy? I don't really mind calling you like that but knowing the name of the boy that will play with my daughter will be very useful for the future." Lady asked me while I was helping her with some household chores.

Did it sound only to me like that or did she just tease me? No way, I am after all 7 years old, maybe she is just playful in nature and teased me out of habit. It's not like a 7 years old kid would get such a deep meaning in her words.

"Where are my manners, my parents told me to always introduce myself first. I am Felix" I said trying to look embarrassed while extending my hand for a handshake.

Felix? That's quite an unusual name and what about his surname? I guess he is shy, however, asking for it would probably put him into an even more embarrassing situation.

----(Lady's POV end)----

"Hihi, no need to be so polite... Felix-kun. You can call me Aiko-Neesan." Aiko introduced herself with a light laugh while forcing my small body into a hug which caught me off guard.

I tensed up a bit, however, I couldn't detect any bad intentions from her so I eased up a bit. I promised myself not to trust anyone anymore but I guess I can put a bit of trust in someone while having my guard up for unexpected situations.

But these honorifics... I don't know how to actually use them. I used to watch some anime in the past but I can hardly remember anything from it. Let's just pray that it will play out somehow.

"I can't breathe Aiko-Neesan" Since she was taller than me, she was actually suffocating me with her melons. Now I understand how they almost suffocated in anime in situations like this one.

"Sorry, sorry, shall we continue in cleaning?" Aiko asked me and I simply nodded while I was trying to catch some breath. What a deadly weapon, I thought while cautiously looking at her chest.

While I was dusting the kitchen table I noticed a newspaper. I couldn't care any less about some random newspaper, however, 1 article caught my attention. Its headline was ADVANCED NURTURING HIGH SCHOOL. 

"ADVANCED NURTURING HIGH SCHOOL - One of the most prestigious and biggest High schools, established by the government to nurture the young people who will support the country in the future. Until now it proved that graduates have 100% employment and college entry rate.

100% rate? It must be really prestigious, I will have to find more information about this school online.
However, if I want to go to a high school I would have to attend middle school or somehow bypass the education system if I want to apply for this high school. I will decide after I find out more information about it.

"Felix-kun, you were a great help. You can take a break and if you want I can introduce my daughter to you." Aiko said to me with a smile that was full of expectations.

Why are you so desperate to introduce your daughter to me? I should be considered just as a stranger no? You know me for only around an hour but I guess kids normally don't really have any evil intentions.

"It would be my pleasure" I answered with happy like smile but my lips still twitched a bit at the imagination of playing around with the kid. It wasn't like I could reject, it would be too rude and probably created awkward situation.

Aiko led me to a door on the 2nd floor and knocked on it lightly.

"Kei-chan, I want to introduce someone to you, I will come in ok?" Aiko said aloud

She must really love her daughter, she even respects her privacy while she is still a kid.

"Eh? O-ok mom" Quiet voice came from the other side of the door. If I wasn't focusing I wouldn't even be able to hear it.

Aiko opened the door and the first thing I saw was a kid. To be more precise a girl around "my" age with purple eyes and medium-long blonde hair tied into a ponytail. It was apparent that when she grows up she would become a beautiful lady... well not like I cared.

"Kei-chan this is Felix-kun. Felix-kun this is Kei-chan." Aiko said with a big smile while forcing both of us to shake each other hands.

"Felix-kun? That's really unusual name and what is your surname?" Kei asked me in a pretty rude way but I didn't really care, however, someone next to me clearly cared.

"Kei-chan you can't ask so rudely! And even if his name is unusual it is still beautiful don't you think so?!" Aiko scolded Kei and asked her a question in a quite threatening voice which made even me shudder.

"Sorry and I guess it's not bad..." Kei was still a bit rebellious but didn't want to be scolded again so she agreed with her mother's statement.

"Alright, kids I will let you alone so you can play. Felix-kun, don't mind her attitude, she is very shy." Aiko said so and quickly run away from the room and closed the door before I could say anything.

I will probably die... I just hope Aiko will come before my death for a rescue, I never wanted to do chores around the house so much in my life as now.

"You are thinking about something rude right now right?!" Kei said to me while frowning.

Ugh, does this kid have some kind of superpowers or is this legendary "woman" intuition? I can't really call 8 years old kid a woman. I guess its something that runs deeply inside her family.

"I am sorry but I am not interested in playing with you, I would rather study so I can make my mom proud of me." Kei refused to play with me even before I said something to her.

But to think that she would rather study than play at her age... It's truly fascinating but better for me, I would rather "study" with her then play some childish games, well in my case I would be teaching her. Although my memories are a bit messy and I can't remember my life memories, on the other hand, it seems that "educational" memories are intact, no they were even strengthened.

"Then how about you show me what you want to study and if you won't understand anything I will help you ok?" I offered to help her with her studying.

"Aren't you of same age as me?" Kei gave me suspicious look but that was it.

"You will never know who is smarted if you won't try." I provoked her just for fun.

"Hmpf, fine we will see who is actually smarter" (Kei) It seems that fish caught a bait. I smiled evilly inside. Even if this girl is a genius she doesn't stand a chance, now the question is whether to win by a large margin or make it look like I won by a hair.

I like this girl and I feel quite generous, I guess a close win will make her study harder.

This boy irritates me so much. I have no friends but I doubt this arrogant boy has any too. I will teach him a lesson and then we will never see each other again. I will definitely complain to mom about this later.

Just some random Fan-fic about Classroom of the Elite with a few fantasy-like features for the future plot.

*English isn't my native language* so if you can't stand grammar errors while reading something you better not read this.

This is my first fan-fic ever so you can definitely expect plot holes. Characters might have slightly different personalities. Events don't have to happen the same way they did in the Classroom of the Elite.

I am writing this only for fun so don't expect much.

Three days later, in a small villa in HD City.

    Feng Yu Chen and Busujima Saeko, Zi Yueling, and Suzumiya Haruna gathered together.

This is not my own novel, I just translate this novel!!!!!!!

Today is November 2nd, 2019, and I have decided to begin writing my own novel. In particular, this is an auto biography meant for me to remember my own life in the years to come.

I woke up today at around 8AM, however I was too lazy to actually get up. I looked to my right and grabbed my phone off of my nightstand. There I began watching watching some youtube videos and periodically checking my discord server.

I forgot to mention in my prologue but I have a profound interest in technology. I spend my freetime researching computer hardware and mobile devices, and run a tech discord server online. I won't go into details as I would prefer to stay anonymous, but I help people build computers and enjoy watching videos on new product releases, tutorials, unboxings, etc...

So I continued to watch youtube and check discord for around an hour. 

I actually got up at around 9AM. I hopped in the shower, brushed my teeth, and got ready for the overall tasks of the day. 

First and foremost, I had a singular physics homework problem to finish up. I had done all my physics homework the night before except for that problem, as I had gone to church on Friday night for All Saints Day and did not have time to finish it. I didn't want to worry about it when I had came home since it would be rather late, so I saved it for Saturday.

I looked at the physics problem, and at first I was rather confused. It asked me to find the period and velocity of a satellite circling the moon when given the mass of the moon, the moon's radius, and the distance the satellite was from the moon.

It was then that it clicked in my head that first I would need to find the acceleration of gravity on the moon. In order to do this, I plugged the values I had into the formula g = (GM)/r^2. In this case, G is a constant always being 6.67 * 10^-11 (N*m^2)/kg^2. The M was just the total mass of the moon given, and the r was just distance of the satellite from the moon.

After finding the acceleration of the gravity, or g, to find the velocity all I had to do was plug that value into the formula g = (v^2)/r. This is possible because the question has specified it was a circular orbit.

I then had to do the same thing to find the period, however replacing v with (2πr)/T, where T is the period and solving as a normal equation.

After finishing this problem, I was somewhat confident but rather confused as I hadn't used the radius of the moon at all. I contacted my older brother and asked him to check my work. He was dissapointed because the total radius was not just the distance of the satelite from the moon, but the distance + the moon's radius. This clicked and it made sense. I re did the calculations and now I'm rather sure I have the correct answer and understand the concept.

After finishing this problem, it was probably around 9:30 and I realized I had awakened abnormally early for just this problem. I was expecting it to take longer but it didn't, and I was fully dressed as if I was going out. 

However, I had no plans for the day. I honestly didn't know what to do and settled for eating some of this refridgerated banana cake my mother had brought home from work the previous day.

After finishing the cake, I was relatively bored and decided to check for the day's anime episode releases. At the moment I am currently watching around 6 or so ongoing series, and it just so happens a lot of them come out on Saturday.

I first checked Detective Conan, but no new episode had been released. I then noticed a new Sword Art Online III second season episode had been released and watched it. It was okay, but SAO is surely not my favorite series, just something to pass the time.

I then watched a few episodes of goblin slayer, a small, finished series that I had recently started watching. Overall, I spent a few hours just watching these shows and before I knew it the clock read 12:30.

I then got up and walked to the kitchen. I began looking for something to eat for lunch. I found one of those cheap one-meal containers of Kraft macaroni and cheese. I honestly am not a fan of these, but it was the best thing I found and I wasn't planning on being greedy with lunch today.

I heated it up in the microwave and ate it. It actually wasn't that bad despite the fake powdered cheese it uses.

I then set my phone down to charge. It was around one or two o'clock at this point. Recently I updated my phone to android Pie, or android version 9.0. Ever since, I've noticed severely decreased battery life. I have an LG V30 at the moment and before the software update I was getting 7-9 hours screen on time. However, since the update, I was constantly only getting around 5 or so hours of screen on time. It's unfortunate but oh well I guess.

While my phone was charging, I practiced playing some piano. I have played piano for quite a while, however all I have is a very cheap keyboard that I got like 13 years ago. Particularly, the model is the Casio LK 100. However, in the end it does work and I do enjoy practicing songs such as the Detective Conan main theme, tetris, and Kamado Tanjiru No Uta (from Kimetsu No Yaiba).

A couple hours went by and my phone was eventually fully charged. It was probably around 4PM at this point and I was insanely bored. I had told my friends I probably couldn't hangout today, but was beginning to regret that decision. I then realized that the thing that could make the day fun was a trip to tacobell.

The only obstacle was that the nearest tacobell is 20 miles away and I don't even have my learner's permit yet. I asked my mother if she had any errands to run or anything, and reminded her the mall was right next to the tacobell.

She agreed to go to the mall and to drop me off to have some tacobell, however I had to wait a good three and a half hours. I literally sat on the couch just listening to anime openings for that entire time, wondering when she would come downstairs and she would live. We finally left at 7:30.

I called the tacobell to see when they closed the lobby, as some close their lobbies pretty early and stay drive thru only. Luckily, the one near the mall did not close the lobby until 10PM.

I got a ride to tacobell and then realized I had nearly no money, no more than a few bucks. I decided I would claim my T Mobile Tuesday free crunchy taco supreme, and then just purchase a large drink. That way I could get a meal for just $2 plus tax.

I walked into the tacobell and fidgeted on my phone to attempt to get the T Mobile Tuesday deal working for a solid five or so minutes. It wasn't working properly and I was frusrated knowing my budget, so I thought 

"Agh screw this, I'm just going to buy my drink real quick and I'll figure this out at my table."

I went and asked for a drink at the front counter, and as I was getting my debit card out the employee said,

"It's alright, this one is on the house."

I realized that she had probably seen my frustration trying to use my phone to order and just gave me this free drink out of pity. I gladly accepted though.

Soon afterwords, I was able to get the deal to work and also received my free taco. So, basically, I got an entire meal for free and I was very happy.

I then sat down and ate, and I sat in the tacobell for around thirty minutes. During my stay I took a picture of my food and sent it to my friends, and I explained how I got everything for free.

I also noticed a group of people walk in all wearing clothing representing a particular University. Seeing as it was one University I was interested in, I approached them. I confirmed that they had all attended that University and asked for their SAT/ACT statistics out of curiosity.

One claimed that he had gotten a 1400 on his SAT, and the other that he had gotten a 33 on his ACT. I saw this as both good and bad. I've taken the SAT once and I received a score of 1380. I got lower than expected in math at a 700, but I also did insanely well compared to what I expected in english, at a 680. I truly hope I can get into the college they had attended with my score.

Soon, my mother showed up at the taco bell. She was done looking at things at the mall, and she picked me up and we headed home.

Soon after getting home, I got in and began talking to my older brother and a few friends on discord. We were talking about general things, and I told them about my college conversation with the alumni I had met.

One of my friend's then suddenly asked me whether or not my sister had gone to college. I told him that my sister went to community college but had then dropped out. With a highschool GPA of 2.6 and an ACT score of 14, you couldn't really expect much more.

We continued to talk about various things and my older brother told me he was going to write a book on web novel. It was then that I decided I wanted to write this auto biography.

I got started with the prologue, and now that I am finishing this first chapter it is slightly past midnight. I'll be heading to bed soon and I have set the timer to post this chapter at 5AM.

This is my life. I am writing this story to always remember where I came from in the years to come.

Mike is an average teenager who finds the world very boring. His looks is average, his grade is average and every day his time table includes waking up late, then going to college, then playing games and watching anime till late at night. Every day before sleeping he wonders how nice it would be if he finds himself in an exciting world when he wakes up.

 His favourite anime till date is One Piece. He was fascinated by the world made up of only islands and seas. Fascinated by the freedom provided by the sea. Every time he watches one piece he wonders how it feels like to drifts on the sea on a small boat. His favourite character in one piece is Dracule Mihawk. 

Now , Mike is watching one piece and dreaming about his adventures when a notification suddenly pops up on his screen.

[ If you are given a chance to go to any anime world , what would you choose?]

He thought it was an online survey so he wrote the name of his favourite anime.

[ What kind of talent or abilities do to want?]  

Mike seriously considers this time. He read many novels about someone who is reincarnated in an anime world with a system that gives him whatever he wants. He finds those novels uninteresting. One piece is a world fill with strong and pridefull men like Gold D Roger, Whiteboard etc. who can laugh in the face of death itself . He also wants to be like them if he goes there. He wants to become strong and fight these pridefull men with his own hard work instead of relying on some system. But he also know that it is not possible without any talent. So he wrote,

{ I want to have the greatest talent in sword and all the haki. I also want to have an ability to view my stats.}

[ Are you sure that is all you want?]

{Yes}

[ Do u want to be reincarnated as a baby or transmigrated into an existing body?]

' I don't want to become a baby again but I also don't want to miss the best time for training', Mike thought. So he wrote

{ I want to be transmigrated into a 10 years old body}

[ At which time do you want to be transmigrated?]

'I want to start my adventure earlier than luffy', Mike thought, 'I also wants to have a little head start from Luffy'. You may be wondering why, so, ""For God's Sake That Guy's Background is Terrifying!!! "". he wrote

No new pop ups came after this so Mike resumed watching One piece. After watching some episodes it was already midnight so he went to sleep.

That night Mike dreamt of fighting Dracule Mihawk and becoming the greatest swordsman in One Piece world.

Mike woke up feeling cold and numb. He was still not fully awake and his eyes are still closed. He search for his blanket with his hands but he did not find any. Instead his hands holds onto something which feels like sand. He finally opened his eyes but he was not expecting what he saw. All he saw was a vast bule sea and blue sky with some white clouds. And the place he was sleeping was not his room but a beach. He also noticed that he had become a lot shorter. He was scared and confused.
" Am I still sleeping? Is this a dream? But this feels so real.", Mike speaks out loud.

Mike tried pinching himself hard on his hand.
"Aaaaa!!!!!", He screamd loudly.
"Aaaaa.. what the heck is happening here? Can someone please tell me what the fuck is going on??",he started crushing at his situation.

Now Mike is fully awake. After some time he finally calms down a little. He started thinking about his situation.

"Am I being kidnapped by someone? No, I am too poor to be kidnapped. Then, what is happening?. Oh , let's see, in front of me there is only water and behind me there is a forest and there is water in my left and right side too. By the looks of it, I am in some kind of island", Mike started questioning and answering himself.

I order to confirm his thought he started walking on the beach. He walk near the water but stayed as far away as possible from the forest. He thought that if any dangerous animal came out of the forest he would jump into the water. Even after walking for some time there was still only water and forest around him. So he confirmed that he was on an island.

Since he had been walking for some time he was getting tired. So he sat down on the beach and started examining himself. When he woke up in this foreign  place he was so confused that he even forgot to examine himself .

He was still wearing the same dress that he wore last night when he fall asleep but smaller, a loose black pant and a black T-shirt. He was barefoot and on his wrist there was a simple looking bracelet with a button on it. He did not wear this last night. 

 He pressed the button to see what it does and suddenly a transparent screen poped up in front of him.

Mike found himself on a new world when he woke up. In this world there are people who are strong enough to shatter an island with a single fist or freeze the sea with a single touch or defeat an army simply with a gaze.

Mike will carve his own path in this world with a sword and his will power.

In the real world, Gray was born and raised in the domed city Washington, named after some important guy from the 18th century of a country once known as the United States of America.  Long before Gray was born, these domed cities were constructed on elevated areas of land that were still large enough to support them without any major earth moving.  Around the world, only twenty domed cities still existed and each one was ran by a major corporation as politicians had proven themselves time and time again to be incapable to manage them effectively.  Of the original fifty cities, ten had been lost due to accidents or sabotage by extremists and the other twenty in the eastern hemisphere had all been lost due to negligent leadership hence why the remaining cities used a Corporate Republic system of governance.

Gray's family were all involved in a shuttle mishap when trying to move together.  His parents never died fortunately, that would be too cliché, but he was still separated from them due to a miscommunication so he could only holochat with them now due to the city they returned to being partially submerged.  This was not uncommon as people did what they needed to do to survive.

"I know Mom, I'm taking care of myself." Said Gray to the holochat of his parents.

"Son, we just worry about you like all good parents worry about their children." Said Gray's mother with a worried expression on her face.  "I know you like to game a lot and I've heard stories about some that go without eating or sleeping for days due to addictions."

"Mom… those things haven't happened in decades, where do you get your news from?" said Gray while shaking his head at his Mom.

"Son, your Mother is just worried is all, as long as you are happy and doing well is all that matters... but your Mother and I are both in agreement that we need grandkids so stop playing games and go meet a nice girl!" said Gray's Father with a slightly indignant tone.

"Listen, playing Alterra Online is going to be a great social outlet.  I've already met a few nice girls so let's just leave it at that."

This is usually how Gray's conversations went with his parents.  It may seem annoying and such, but it did at least show that his parents cared about him, or at least his ability to give them grandchildren…  Although he never remembers physically being with them as he was only 3 when they were separated, technology has advanced to the point where they could still interact fully.

"Mom, Dad, I know you spent a lot of your savings on me when I went to college, I want to try and buy you both a VR bed each."

"What for honey?  We do not play video games." Said Gray's Mom.

"No, but with full dive VR technology, we can still meet up and it will be almost 100% the same as if we were together in real life." Gray had only considered this after experiencing full dive VR for himself.  It felt so real to him that he could understand how some people become obsessed and never logged out.

"We appreciate the sentiment, but you do not need to worry about us, we're happy just seeing you doing well.  Save your money for yourself and maybe take a nice girl out some time." Said Gray's Dad.

"Yeah yeah, I'm working on it, there are just so many girls that desire me I can never decide which one to pick!" said Gray boastingly.

"We never raised you to be liar so don't try and pull that with us, just be yourself and you will find someone that accepts you for who you are."

"You make it sound like I'm a charity case Mom…"

"You know what I mean Gray!" said Gray's Mom getting flustered.

"I know, but it's still fun to mess with my parents every now and then!"

The next morning Gray logged back in to Alterra Online.  Apparently Geoff had had the same idea as Gray and took time off from work to also play the game so they agreed to meet up as soon as possible in game.  They thought about meeting up in real life, but figured that was pointless for now since they can only play Alterra Online from their VR beds.

"I was thinking, if we create our own team, we need at about as many female members as there are male members." Said Gray to Geoff.

"I do agree that we should maintain a balance." Geoff replied.

"Screw balance, I just want us all to have at least one girlfriend!"

"At least one Gray?" said Geoff slightly exhausted from Gray's short-sightedness.

"If I had it my way, you and any other guys would be my lackeys and the girls would be part of my harem." Gray said passionately looking off into the distance like some anime hero.

"While you are undoubtedly as dense as a male protagonist in a harem anime, I'll be impressed if you attract even one girl."

Gray and Geoff frequently got into these types of boasting 'competitions' with each other, just showed how well they got along.

"Anyways, let's at least ask Stacia and Yurika if they want to join us.  Only twelve of us are in this camp so we should pick from our own camp until we are able to better gauge other's skill through matchmaking." Said Geoff.

"On it!"  Gray tapped his Armlet and searched for nearby friendly players.  He saw that Yurika and Stacia were already together online and were near the simulators.  They seemed like a strange pair as Stacia was very calm and down to earth while Yurika was very loud and loved to be the center of attention.  Still, girls like to form groups so Stacia and Yurika teamed up and the other two girls that Gray never got to know had formed another group.

Gray walked up to Yurika and Stacia and said with a very confident tone. "We have deemed you worthy to join our group, you are welcome."  Gray flashed his best playboy smile while slicking his hair back in a typical cocky playboy manner.  Both girls stared at Gray then looked at Geoff next to Gray and watched as Geoff slowly started to creep away from Gray.

"I am sorry Yurika and Stacia, it seems my friend here forgot to take his medicine this morning." Said Geoff apologetically.  "What he REALLY means is that we were hoping to be able to work together with the both of you as we believe it is in all of our best interests to work together."

Stacia whispered something to Yurika, Yurika nodded back at Stacia.

"We agree, we just want to play the game so if guys hit on us too much or make us uncomfortable we will leave." Said Yurika pointedly at Geoff and Gray.

"Agreed, we just want to play and win as well!" said Geoff while holding Gray in a headlock while to keep him from saying something stupid.

"Have room for one more?" Caleb asked after overhearing their conversation.  "I admit I am at a loss on teammates until the game fully launches and we get more people here."

Geoff and Yurika both looked at each other and shrugged.  "Sure, let's give another quick introduction about each other and what we want to specialize in." said Geoff as he finally released Gray.

Caleb spoke up to the group.  "Wanting to specialize and actually being able too are two different things.  I would suggest we let our AI trainers suggest our roles based upon our performances in matchmaking."

"It is different, but it's a game, we can just do what we want and have fun.  If all of us want to be assaulters, then we can all be assaulters!" said Yurika excitedly while making shooting gestures with her hands.

"Well, let's just jump in to matchmaking and go with our own preferences and see what happens from there." Said Gray to everyone.  "I might end up liking a different role than what I first wanted to be."

Geoff stared at Gray in awe. "That's the first normal thing you've said!"

"I am perfectly capable of being normal!" yelled Gray.

When he looked back at the other 4 in his new team, they had ignored him and were already walking away to the matchmaking station to find a match.

A hundred years from now the Earth is now reduced to several domed cities after the last war raised the temperature across the planet thus raising the sea level.

The most common escape for everyone is virtual reality.  A new game, Alterra Online, is set to release and promises to be the most realistic mecha/military/political simulation to date as well as the first full dive virtual reality game.

Gray Wilhelm, like so many others, wants to be one of the first to play.  What is Alterra Online's secret?  Why do players feel more alive in the game than in real life?  And why is the government and Alterra Corporation working on it together?
